he's the character i'm playing in a playtest campaign of the absolutely mesmerizing sapphicworld, an in-development ttrpg!!! and if i'm going to be talking about cookie i feel like i HAVE to say i think a huge amount of her charm and dazzle and charisma comes directly from the charm and dazzle and charisma of the setting i created her for. i know i am laying it on really thick right now but that is on purpose. i want, desperately and unashamedly, for this game to get really popular bc 1. it's genuinely that good. and it's not even DONE yet and 2. i want everyone to get into it so that everyone will make sapphicworld characters and then i'll get to see everyone's sapphicworld characters.

SO a lot of the info/tidbits i haven't shared about cookie are i guess gameplay-specific stuff... his title (which is like a class/playbook) is "The Noble Sweetheart," though in sapphicworld "nobility" no longer has anything to do with wealth or class, and is instead entirely about amassing a court purely via devotion/popularity; her subculture (which is like, Who You Hang Out With; drifters, goths, poets, debauchers, cowpokes, etc) is Babe; and her kind (which is like ancestries but in sapphicworld is really just like, a physical form, which u can change more or less at will) is Lunarthrope, which is basically a werewolf!! or more broadly a furry, since u always look like whatever were-animal you are 24/7. just MORE at night, tho i suppose i don't represent that aspect much in my cookie art... ANYWAY i am restraining myself from just sitting here and like. transcribing her entire character sheet. but basically what all this means is that cookie's role in the world (at least at the beginning of the campaign) is "Professionally — no, VOCATIONALLY Hot Person who everyone loves so so so so so so much." cookie really enjoys this role.

he's named cooking with gorgeous because he's an avid cook, and he wants to share that with you, and he's gorgeous!! though honestly the cooking hasn't ended up as important to his character as it was when i first came up with him, lol — but my initial concept was kind of like, what's the equivalent of a bouncy normie recipe blogger/lifestyle influencer but in the context of the lush horny trans deathless psychedelic universe of sapphicworld. and it's cooking with gorgeous, a doggirl dyke with big blue boobs (six of them!!) who is so devastatingly cute and darling that a bunch of people just kind of pledge their fealty to him for no real reason other than he feeds them. and is cute

also her name is def influenced by the fantastic names of many canon sapphicworld npcs! like, quick example list of some npc names off the top of my head: the booty commie, death cybernetic, princess eureka!, the culinary goof (whom cookie dislikes. btw.), pizza friday (whom cookie loves!!!)

cookie is very very determined, and she's ALMOST always very confident. even when she isn't feeling confident, she's still very good at forcing herself to keep putting one foot in front of the other — maybe just while screaming or crying or uncontrollably barking or at least very ardently complaining. he has a tendency to be spoiled and, like, tactless-via-obliviousness, so sometimes he can be grating to interact with, and he has a petty/vindictive streak; but in general he's an AGGRESSIVELY kind person and usually aims all his shrill, cheerful stubbornness directly toward the goal of refusing to accept anything but the best for everyone.

at the beginning of our campaign cookie has JUST received a brand new castle!!!! (chateau gorgeous.) which he doesn't actually "own" bc, remember, no wealth or class in sapphicworld, but he's the ENTHUSIASTIC new caretaker and is chomping at the bit to renovate it so ppl can live there and he can throw a bunch of magnificent parties and basically continue living exactly as he has been, But Even More Fabulous. obviously this is exactly when the main plot threat of the campaign shows up and spoils everything and compels cookie to go on his First Ever Adventure!!!!!! she HAS to save the world otherwise NOBODY will be able to go to the first big party at chateau gorgeous :((((

at this point to prevent myself from just like, giving you guys a play by play of the entire campaign so far i am going to just start listing every cookie fact i can think of as bullet points

🎀 he owns a magical sword in the shape of a giant microplane. it's called The Microplane. he pronounces this "mee-crow-plah-nay"

🎀 george desperately wants to resurrect The Dog-Lich, an entity that once ruled over all beasts from its palace on the moon but was murdered and torn to pieces in a cosmic war far in the past. her attitude towards this desire is 50% devoted lunar cultist, 50% parasocially obsessive twitter stan

🎀 this isn't really a cookie fact but going back to how his title is The Noble Sweetheart — just for a glimpse at party composition, his fellow party members' titles are The Intimate Scholar, The Tentacle Advocate, and The Tw*nk Controversial (the * is the canon spelling).

🎀 mwah and cookie used to be very, very tight, BEFORE mwah became the tw*nk controversial. now that it's so.... you know.... controversial, well. they're still very close, but it has gotten a little stilted and weird (and watching them slowly un-weird it together as the campaign goes on has been one of my fav roleplay experiences ever honestly)

🎀 cookie's other adventuremates, skarligge and delaryn, are both very indulgent towards him. delaryn acts the most grumpy/dismissive about it but is honestly sometimes the worst about spoiling cookie out of anyone in the party (skarligge's player is twt@/clown_dream and delaryn's is twt@/glaiveguisarme and hey while im at it our fantastic gm is the sapphicworld dev, twt@/ddemoneclipse. hi guys i hope u don't mind me chattering abt ur ocs here lol it's just hard to talk abt the best of cookie w/o bringing up everyone else's characters and roleplay also!!!)

🎀 cookie is very VERY sensitive and will burst into tears at the drop of a hat. the precursor to this is her eyes getting So So So Big And Wet And Round. one of my favorite bits to menace the other party members with is when something is not going cookie's way i will lean into my mic and say "cookie's eyes are getting so so so big. they're getting so big and wet and round and shiny. they're so so round and fucking big her eyes are like big wet black glass marbles" and this is like kryptonite to them. this is like getting hit with deadly radiation

5. What do you wish someone would ask you about push/pull? Answer it now!

You, question-asker, know both of these things already, but here are two: Where in the process of drafting this fic did you come up with the sex shop? Almost last! I had already sketched out almost the whole thing in detailed beat-by-beat bullet points and drafted a big chunk of it. Originally I had a whole different opening where they were at a library and Laudna was (per usual) putting Imogen’s research interests above her own, which was working okay but felt kind of flat. The sex shop thing was much more fun and lively and a better way to get to all the thematic stuff I wanted to do with the sex, so I was all too happy to chuck the old opening. Are the revivify cock rings really enchanted? No. Or at least not with Revivify.

12. Are there any tropes you used to dislike but have grown on you?

I don’t often go for fics that explore sex as a way to work out intense anger. Jealousy, absolutely, but fury? Ehh. HOWEVER, I do click into them anyway, because sometimes that sex can be really insightful character study and then I like it! In the past I would’ve been likelier just to skip it entirely.

13. Are there any tropes you used to like but don’t anymore?

Hmm, so this isn't a trope but I do think it's the best answer I've got? Much like everyone else on tumblr in 2011/12/13, I read a lot of m/m for a while. Johnlock and Cherik mostly iirc, but other stuff too. This is around the same time I came out as Umbrella Identity Queer, Don't Ask Me What Specifically. Over the next bunch of years I became more and more comfortable with identifying as a lesbian and also became less and less interested in reading m/m. (Correlation, not causation.) By around 2015 or so I think I was reading pretty exclusively f/f. I still have some all-time favorite fics that aren't f/f and will happily read non-f/f if by a favorite author or if recommended by a friend, but in general just don't gravitate towards it or seek it out. This is true for both smut and non-smut, but especially true for smut.

14. Are there any tropes you would only read if written by a trusted friend or writer?

A/B/O isn’t my thing, but I could probably be persuaded to give an individual fic a go if I really adored the author’s other work.

23. What’s a trope, AU, or concept you’ve never written, but would like to?

I really love all of the "improper use of [spell/magic]" stuff that this fandom gets to do. I have a couple more ideas brewing for installments in what I guess basically is becoming my telepathy sex series, and each of those comes at the telepathy thing in a slightly new/different way. I haven't done Improper Use of Mage Hand which people always seem to have fun with. I'd love to do Improper use of Command but Astoria already did such a smart job with that one (command as permission!!!) that I don't know that I'd have much new to say with it. You'll catch me rooting around the sorcerer and warlock spell lists at some point, I am sure.

WARNING: BIG ONE PUNCH MAN WEBCOMIC AND MANGA SPOILERS

GenoSai: do I even have to say it?? They compliment each other so well and are already besties. They make me so happy and I love their love. Genos literally came into Saitama’s life and brought so much new life and excitement when Saitama thought he’d never get any. Genos gives him love and appreciation all the time and never abandons him. Saitama isn’t connected to his feelings, but he cares about Genos and would do just about anything for him, to keep him safe. Genos constantly teases Saitama and Saitama grumbles and takes it with some banter, Genos is super emotional and Saitama does his best to comfort him, they fucking love shopping together and just hanging out period, they talk about the dumbest shit and somehow they still understand each other with the one brain cell they both share. It takes Genos forever to realize his feelings are deeper and Saitama has to be TOLD by their friends that he should fucking realize his feelings already. Just...I could keep going but I’ll stop! 2718873737839439/10 (let’s not talk about the age gap btw, 6 years isn’t bad and Genos is a legal adult.)

FubuSai: the stereotypical straight ship ppl gravitate to. Eh. I can see it, but at the same time I feel like they don’t completely compliment each other. Are they a hot couple? Duh. But I feel like their pride and communication issues would get in the way. 4/10

TatsuSai: hnghhhh. Someone mentioned this before, can’t remember who, but Saitama literally thinks she’s a child in canon. So that just....makes it gross. Same problems as FubuSai but worse. I’d rather see them as hesitant friends w a weird bond. 0/10

SonSai/SonicSai/idk the ship name: eh, toxic. Cant see them getting past communication issues and pride, again. Plus Sonic wants to kill his ass. Also, I just feel no romantic tension?? Even in fanfic it just falls flat for me. 3/10

MumenSai: a favorite!! Wish I saw it more, it’s very cute. Mumen is so kind and would absolutely be there to help him w self esteem and just help him be a better person period. And Saitama would have a cute little kind guy to tease and open up to. I could maybe see Mumen’s kindness getting on Saitama’s nerves when he’s in a bad mood bc Mumen almost never snaps and Saitama feels shittier, or maybe Mumen being mad at Saitama for being kinda lazy at home while Mumen is working his ass off and he’s like babe I just got home, please stop playing the fucking game and pay attention to me I have a concussion again. Prob too nitpicky on this one, heh, but 8.4/10

Genos x Sonic: wtf? As a crack ship, sure. That’s hilarious. But as a serious ship, 1.3/10 bc I could MAYBE see them bond over their love of my chemical romance or sum.

TatsuKing: eh. Indifferent on this one too. I can see them getting along and Tatsu being the mean but supportive gf in public, but a sweet gf in private. King could be like her calm oasis of video games and sweet blonde shy bf. I sway more towards ace/aro King and queer non binary Tatsu, but this is still good. 6/10

FubuPsy/Fubuki x Psykos/idk: hell yeah!! This series NEEDS more wlw ships, both for me to project onto and to cry over. Prob my fav Fubuki ship, cuz they’ve known each other since they were young and had a tenuous friendship. I didn’t use to ship it until I saw that scene in the wc after the MA arc (u know the one) but here we are. They’re big personalities so any interaction is bound to be chaotic at first, but I really think they’d work. Pride put to the side, Psykos could be someone for Fubuki to finally rely on other than the Blizzard Bunch, someone to confide in, a badass partner to fight monsters with, talk about nothing for hours with, be a super fashionable #girlboss couple with, and someone who would really see her for who she is-especially w Psykos knowledge of her from the past. Hell, Psykos might even know her better than Tatsumaki. Fubuki could be an anchor to her like she currently is in the wc, providing a quiet comfort and making her open up little by little. Would prob be toxic at first bc of the MA arc and their desire for power, but is a very good ship I think. 9/10

Speedal/Sonic x Mumen: an old fav! Sonic would have a hard time not hating Mumen at first bc he’s the picture definition of a hero, sum he hates. But hanging out with him would show him Mumen is a GOOD guy genuinely and he’d be like ohhhh shit I’m in love w this man. Mumen would thoroughly appreciate someone to make him live a little, break some rules and stand up to ppl when they talk over him. He’d DEFINITELY be upset when finding out Sonic is an assassin, but would prob be conflicted bc he knows Sonic is a good person despite that. Would prob make Sonic give up on killing for them to be together. Sucks bc of the assassin thing and bc they haven’t met in canon! So we’re not sure how they’d interact with each other, sigh. 7.4/10

Okamaitachi x Bushidrill: a very underrated ship! To be clear, I headcanon Kama as a trans woman and so does most of the fandom. Anyway, very sweet and already built as a friendship bc of their partnership under Atomic Samurai. I can’t remember who writes fic and makes art of them on tumblr but AAAAA it’s so good! Very sweet. Basically depicted Bushi as a nervous himbo who’s honest about his feelings but scared to say them and Kama as a sweet lady who’s crazy about Bushi. Very sweet. Want more of them!! 6.1/10

OneZon/Zombieman x One Shotter: never even thought of the ship till I saw @megidolan art work! Very wholesome, and from what little we know of Shotter we know he’s a sort of nervous yet strong willed guy, and Zombieman would totally help him calm down bc he’s so chill. I could see them sharing cigarettes and talking shit on heroes while cuddling u know? 7/10 only because I don’t see enough of it but very good concept.

Mumarou/Mumen x Garou: a lot of ppl are gonna hate me for this but....I don’t like it. I’ve tried! I just—idk. I’ve read so many good fics about them that make me like it a bit, but the concept is just eh. I think their relationship is, in most reps, really cliche angsty stuff. I wish I could elaborate I just...gah! Basically, there’s better ships for the both of them imo. Sorry!! 4.3/10

Sonic x Flashy/SonFlash: yes!! Prob my fav Sonic ship. They have soooo much tension, it’s almost worse than Genos’ tension w Saitama. Flashy LITERALLY poisoned Sonic so that he wouldn’t be forced to kill him at the ninja graduation. He cares. They’ll never say it out loud, but they care. They have someone who understands what they went through in each other and someone they’re both so similar to, yet so different from. Sonic is more vocal about his expressions and let’s people know it while Flashy often keeps things to himself, they could really influence the other to be more this or that. I could see a lot of comfort with these two, and not much is needed for relationship development; they already have so much unspoken between them after meeting for the first time in years. Love it. Wish I saw it more! 10/11

KingSai: wonderful! Out of the few ppl Saitama is close to, def my second fav pick for a ship for him. There’s a post saying how Saitama doesn’t cut King off when he’s going on rants about games and stuff bc he’s talking TO Saitama, not at him like Genos tends to do on accident. They’re already great buddies! Saitama could find a shy gamer man who he can talk to about manga and stuff and also a passionate bf who could break out of his shell w Saitama and be himself with no lies. King can have someone to protect him, duh, someone who finally understands his weird sense of humor, and someone to shower him in the love and kindness he deserves when Saitama is in the mood to be all out like that w his affections. Plus he’s Saitama’s anchor and brings him back down when he’s super anxious and depressed and tells him what’s up that he needs to fix without sugarcoating it. Would def have a bunch of inside jokes and go on dates that are just staying inside playing video games all night. Domestic af. 10/10

Fubuki x Mizuki: my first wlw Fubuki ship! Hard to find but very good. Mizuki is this big ball of kindness, energy, and raw power that would make Fubuki go ‘Ohhhhhhh, big pretty lady make brain go brrr.’ I could see Mizuki grounding Fubuki when she’s in over her head, giving her random gifts bc she saw sum and thought of her, doing a marathon run and wildly waving at Fubuki in the crowd, and all around being a dependable woman confident in herself and in love with a mysterious esper. Prob a little shy when it comes to anything physical bc she loves Fubuki so much and is overwhelmed by the realness of being w her. Fubuki gives Mizuki advice on ‘acting like a proper hero’ or whatever and though Mizuki thinks she doesn’t need it, Fubuki still helps her a lot w her career and being taken more seriously by others. Would give Mizuki someone who loves her for who she is and would go wild on her in private when she can be open about her affection, would be someone Mizuki could exercise with and listen intently to Mizuki’s physical knowledge, and would absolutely bandage her when she’s all banged up. Hnghh love this ship. It’s only behind the FubuPsy ship juuuuust a little bc they haven’t met in canon so we can’t be sure about their interactions and stuff. 8.8/10, I love WOMEN

Batarou: how could I go this far without mentioning them?! They have SOOOO much tension in the centichoro fight, like come on. Both snarky assholes who are huge softies one the inside, Badd being the more logical one (still a himbo, tho) and Garou being the more chaotic one. Probably take forever to admit their feelings bc they’re so prideful and stupid <3 flirt through constant wrestling matches and it takes Genos saying ‘they should kiss already, they’re getting on his nerves’ for them to finally realize what’s up. (@rayadraws has a great au where Garou Genos and Badd are a chaotic friend squad and Genos is the only brain of the group, haha. Very good au y’all check it out!) Would constantly pick on each other affectionately and switch into concerned SO when the other is hurt like the big teddy bears they are. Raise Zenko together for sure. Garou would fumble being romantic and Badd would find it both hilarious and cute. 11/12

Zombie mask/Amai x Zombieman:

So. I don’t like Amai Mask and I used to hate him, BUT the webcomic and fic have really helped me calm down on him (he’s still a dick tho), so it’s easier to want to ship him and stuff. Bc of Amai’s anger issues and controlling behavior, I could see this relationship being super toxic and icky—but I think they have some form of understanding that pulls Amai back from being a complete dick, you know? Start off as fuck buddies and slowly form something else from spending companionable time together other than screwing. Zombieman pulls Amai back from his angry fits and soothes him over with his logic. Talk maaaaaad shit about heroes, but only when they’re alone because Zombieman knows Amai will talk loud af about the heroes they’re roasting and Zombie doesn’t wanna stop a fight from happening. Zombieman loves making Amai flustered and has a secret check list in his head of all the things that get Amai red faced. Loves to listen to Amai rant about things for hours and loves to watch his face go through almost cartoon like expressions as he talks. He won’t admit it, but Zombie loves to be spoiled by Amai’s shit tons of cash and often takes rides in Amai’s limos when he wants to smoke and think to himself. Amai has a hard time realizing how his feelings have changed, but gets hit hard with it when he wakes up to Zombie making them breakfast one morning while wearing Amai’s underwear. Amai also loves to spoil Zombie and takes him out to restaurants and buys him cool new weapons on the weekends. @batneko has pretty much gotten me into this ship and I strongly suggest looking at their works! 7.9/10

DemonKnight/Genos x Zero/Drive Knight: I’m pretty sure this used to be a crack ship before the past like 10 manga chapters—and now here we are! Not a fav bc 1. ZERO LEFT GENOS TO SELF DESTRUCT AFTER THEY COMBINED TO FORM THE FUCKING JET HE WAS JUST LIKE lol bye SO LIKE if he left him to die that’s super hard for me to forgive and ship grrr 2. Disregarding the manga’s canon and looking at the wc, while I love the little trip they went on where Zero demonstrated his abilities and helped Genos kill monsters, it’s super sus. He knew alllll of this info on Metal Knight and was super supportive and understanding when Genos said he needed time to think. Like,,,what are his intentions? We know so little about him—is he trying to trick Genos or was he being sincere? THAT STUFF ASIDE, they’re a really fun ship. They’re both huge fucking nerds and can keep up with their talk on robotics for hours, they’re both cyborgs so they understand each other’s pain, and they’re both super cool and angsty. I think they could really settle into a deep bond that can go platonic or romantic, just depends. Genos needs more ppl in his life so hell yeah! Plus, he can really let go with Zero bc they don’t have that teacher/student relationship and Zero, if he’s really a sincere and kind guy like in the wc, can be there for Genos and listen to him. Don’t have much to say on this ship other than @wellthisisembarrassing makes GORGEOUS art of them! 6.3/10

Webuiko/Suiko x Webigaza: YEAH I KNOW THEY HAVENT INTERACTED IN CANON AND WE DONT KNOW MUCH ABOUT THEM BUT HEAR ME OUT. Webigaza—cool af determined cyborg idol who’s surprisingly down to earth when talking with Child Emperor. Suiko—sassy and honest fighter who doesn’t take shit and is very passionate. Suiko would go to talk to Web then immediately freak out bc aaaa she’s way prettier than she thought, she can’t do this! Web would have to gently encourage Suiko to talk and at first is like ‘ah man, must be an adoring fan, ugh I’m so tired. At least she’s hot’ but when Suiko snaps out of her shyness Web is like oh! She’s super cool wtf. Always bump into each other during fights and help each other get fixed up, Suiko using her muscle power to lift Web’s pieces (and give Web a great view of Suiko’s muscles holy SHIT) and Web would patch Suiko up. Not to be stereotypical, but they’re def a masc/femme couple. I love the idea of this ship soooo much and I really hope they interact! 6.6/10 only bc they haven’t met 😭😭😭 look them up on here! There’s some great art of them by a few blogs

Dr. Kuseno x Bang: pretty sure @baldyborg came up with this one! Super cute. Just two old dudes finding a nice friendship in each other, maybe after Bang helps carry Genos to Kuseno’s after a day of fighting. Bang would find Kuseno to be a very cute little nerd man and would be sooo impressed by Kuseno’s mad scientist skills. Kuseno would be super impressed when seeing Bang in action too. They’d prob talk as soon as they meet each other and Genos would be in the background like you guys it’s been an hour, please fix me I’m on the verge of death 🧍🏻Bang would give Kuseno advice on training techniques to teach Genos and advice on making his bodies more martial arts ready or sum, meanwhile Kuseno would give his take on how to be kinder to Garou so that Bang would learn to repair the relationship with a gentleness he’s seemingly lacking (yes I’m talking about the chapter where he and Garou start fighting and Bang is just not doing enough to reach out to Garou, he’s being a callous old man! So yeah I’m still mad about that). Genos and Saitama would prob be out on a date and Saitama would be like oh theres Bang, wonder what he’s doing? Then Kuseno would walk up and kiss Bang and Genos and Sai would be shocked like SIRS 👬 Genos would tell Bang he doesn’t need another adoptive dad and Bang would be like....ok.... I see them retiring in a cottage together and Bang would become a huge softie. Yes I’m actively ignoring chapter 141 of the wc, shut up. 7.6/10

TankTop master x Mumen: they have a nice friendship going on in the manga right now! Just bros supporting bros. Tank is the picture definition of a muscly himbo and Mumen is his cute passionate bf. Also workout buddies af!! Don’t have much to say other than pretty good ship, just not a fav. 5.2/10

unnatural - wjsn | recommended songs: all of them (especially unnatural, supermoon, and yalla) except for rewind | skips: just rewind bc ballad /// im not sure what style to call this album but they really made such a smash, its crazy that it came out so early in the year and no gg is touching it (album wise). literally the only complaints i have are the obligatory ballad (that they always do bc they can all sing lmfao), the album cover/title (dont love the cover design and i dont love when the album name is the tt name, except in certain circumstances (a full album (especially where the title isnt necessarily from the title track) like montero) or when it's a single album (the inverse of this being rsq's prequel which couldve just been called colorfull since that was the only damn song 😐)). i also was disappointed with the outfits for last dance but that's peripheral.

Nobody wanted it, but it’s here anyways. Eeveelution Tier Ranker, let’s go. (Note: I don’t hate any of these and it’s less about whether they’re good competitively and more from a design standpoint -- i.e., how well I think they represented their chosen element and were creative when doing so. It’s okay if you disagree! But don’t click if you don’t like hearing opinions that are not your own.)

S Tier Explanations:

Vaporeon: Honestly one of the more creative Eeveelutions, and it hit it out of the park on the very first gen! It’s notable because instead of simply representing the element of water, it looks like a creature that might actually dwell in the ocean depths. I love its little neck fringe and the mermaid tail and how literally everything about it (except for maybe the feets) seem changed from the base Eevee form. 

Leafeon: Probably personal bias, but I don’t care. Leafeon kicks ass. They could have gone the super cutesy route and made it like a flower-cat-dog-rabbit-thing, but they instead gave it a look of an insect that would be using leaf camouflage to sneak up on prey. I love the little bits and pieces taken out of the leaf growths, and also the cute detail of its feet being brown, like it grew out of the mud. 

Espeon: Complicated doesn’t always mean good (foreshadowing for later) and Espeon proves it. It is a beautifully simple take on a psychic version of Eevee, with no real frills. It’s a soft lavender (which, being a shade of purple, hints at mystical origins without shoving it in your face, its thin, forked tail reminds me of a tuning fork that some use to meditate, and the red gem in its head I guess makes you think of the Third Eye of the mind. It doesn’t do a bunch of crazy stuff, but it doesn’t need it. Amazing stuff.

A Tier Explanation:

Umbreon: I feel like I want to like Umbreon as a concept more than I actually do. On paper, it’s pretty promising. The name Umbreon itself is a very clever play on the Umbra of a shadow -- the darkest part of it. The rings all over its body makes you think of an eclipse. But that’s... Really it. It has cat like pupils...? Which does set it apart from the other Eevees, and is also fitting of its reputation as a night lurker, but that’s really it. I think the biggest problem with Umbreon is its overall shape. The silhouette doesn’t really change between it and Eevee a whole lot, and not in a way that would make you think of its chosen element. To put it another way, if Umbreon was color-shifted to be, say, a bright orange, would it still look like it represented darkness to you? That’s the best way I can explain it, but I do have to acquiesce that it’s just a hard element to design for in general. They did the best with what they had and I respect them for that.

B Tier Explanations: 

Glaceon: Literally the only reason it’s here is because of the Ushanka-shaped hair do / ear flaps. It’s enough to communicate “this is something you’d encounter in cold weather!” while also being relatively creative about it instead of giving it an icicle for a tail or something. There’s also the subtle diamond-shape to its ears, fur flaps, and tail, kinda making me think of a snowflake in a way? But the rest of the body, other than its fur color and patterns barely changes at all. They even get rid of the fluffy neck scruff, which seems a bit counter intuitive since this is a COLD weather Pokemon, but I digress. It’s something all of the post-Gen-1 Eeveelutions have in common for some reason.

Eevee: Basic can be good! Eevee doesn’t really do anything super extraordinary to me, other than be cute. TBH when I look at it, I don’t really see a “Pokemon that can adapt to any climate” -- it just looks like a cute fox cat dog thingy. But that has its place in the world, too.

C Tier Explanations:

Jolteon: It feels like a sin to have two Gen 1 Pokemon as the sole C tier tier holders, but they fall so short of Vaporeon in my honest opinion. I do like their designs! They’re cute! But they’re not super transformative to me, and that’s their cardinal sin. Jolteon is the Lightning Eeveelution so... It’s Yellow. And they made it spiky like it stuck its paw in an electric socket. Done and done! That’s not very creative to me, though I do rate it as a half step above Flareon just because they basically got rid of its tail. That at least distinguishes it from the Eevee profile pretty well.

Flareon: It’s literally just “Eevee but Hot Cheetos Flavored”. If you color shifted it to Eevee’s base colors, you’d barely be able to tell the difference between them and that’s a problem to me. Yeah, the neck fluff, tail and head fluff kinda resemble flames I guess, but that’s just really lazy in my opinion. If it wasn’t literally the embodiment of fire, it looks like it would overheat in the exact environments it’s supposed to inhabit. Definitely deserves its spot here.

D Tier Explanation:

Sylveon: So I know what you’re thinking. “Mittens just hates anything they didn’t grow up with / thinks the Fairy typing is lame!” No. Absolutely not. Fairy is probably my favorite type, and I was psyched for Mega Evolution, Dynamaxing, and basically any gimmick the later games came out with. Nostalgia is a factor with me, but I make a concerted effort not to let it cloud my judgement. I don’t even hate that we got a Fairy Eevee before getting a Dragon one. My dislike of it is 100% just the way it’s designed. It’s the laziest take of “Eevee, but Fairy Type!!!” imo, and I have similar complaints about Galarian Rapidash. Like what about it says “Fairy”??? The fact that you gave it a cute lil bow and ribbons and made it soft pink and white and stuff??? Lazy! I kind of don’t like the assumption that “Fairy Type = uwu cutesy girly shit” and not because I don’t like the girly shit, but because I feel like that sort of stuff shouldn’t JUST be relegated to one or two typings (Normal type tends to also be kinda guilty of this imo but at least there’s WAY more diversity there). That’s why Klefki, Grimmsnarl, Mawile, and Shiinotic are some of my favorite Fairy Types of all time. Because they do something that both pays homage to the lore they’re taking the Fairy typing from and also making something genuinely original with it. (And it’s also why Mienshao is probably my favorite fighting type Pokemon! Because it’s this situation but just in reverse!) Sylveon just feel like something they banged out with a day or two of brainstorming. “Yeah, just make it pink and cute and shit. Good enough. Let’s go get lunch.” And unlike the first Gen, which I can forgive for being a bit unoriginal because this was still a very new concept for them, for them to bang out something THIS substandard in the 6th gen just makes me kinda mad. Sylveon deserved better and it should have been cooler, more creative, and played with its theme way more. It was cheated. But! that’s just my opinion.

At the end of the day tho, the Eevee line is probably one of my favorite families in the Pokemon universe and all of these Pokemon are super cute and I’d cuddle them in a heart beat. I just think some could have been designed a bit more creatively, but that’s just me! I’d love to hear your opinions. And I might make something like this for Dhimani too (either also doing the Eevees or doing something like rating all bug Pokemon and stuff.)

-the most unrealistic part of this show was that in all the time the team spent in high schools no teen girls have hit on any of them, so in this concept this one kinda midrange popular chick hits on reid by being kinda snarky but clearly super smart idk think it’d be cute

-reid’s daughter is actually the unsub w trauma from him always being gone for work and blaming him for her moms death he has to stop her and there’s a shoot up where she ends up walking up to his gun and like presses it i to her stomach and pulling one of those, “go ahead, dad, shoot me”

-the whole “she’s being chased and screaming while running down the street but no ones helping her until she runs into the good samaritan” and reid just happens to be the man she crashes into

-they take a case and are sure it’s this older teenage girl (probably 16-18, she doesnt confess but the profile is super close and there’s a lot of things that could lead to her) (she was probably framed) 3 years later they get a string of murders just like those bau gets called in thinking its a copycat until it’s not, they catch the real killer, have to apologize to this innocent kid that was forced to spend her college years in a state correctional facility IM WRITING THIS ONE!

-mc is at one of jack’s soccer games because her little brother is on the team, the bau gang is there bc support their office dads ka know and she meets reid at the concession stand and walk back before he gets hit w the ball

-mc is reids teenage daughter and she got in an accident and woke up blind and she’s freaking out like what’s happening why cant i see dad somethings wrong i cant see freaking out

-mc (intern allowed to shadow on a very light hearted mission) does something stupid in the field (gets knocked out maybe?) and very reid after anthrax w morgan she wakes up and says a very teen line like “not a fan” or “i dont vibe w this” ya know

-mc is spencers daughter and she’s been sick recently but when he’s on a case she passes out during school so he flies back from wherever he was on the case and she’s got like cancer and it’s terminal but she doesn’t want to take the pills or whatever or do treatment so Spence is always like forcing her to take her pills and she ends up breaking down screaming to just let her die

-the mc has CF w a mask and bag for oxygen and is at where the unsub lives and they barge in and local pd are clown bags trying to force her to drop her oxygen and remove her mask so she’s panicking like if i do i will die and then reid realizes it and helps out

-reids daughter was kidnapped when she was 6 now 10 years later he gets a call saying they found her in a cellar in new jersey and hes like omg and it was like the cellar where shes brainwashed into thinking shes someone else

-it was just this girl and her dad (like no aunts or uncles mom and grandparents are dead) turns out her dad ended up being the unsub but he won’t cooperate w/o talking to her first and so shes traumatized cuz say she walked in on him torturing someone and the team has to help her go through that aw

-family killer killed this girls entire family except her and this girl has to go through the house and collect her things but she kinda freaks out (like starting to panic clean bc “mom wanted me to clean this etc etc)

-family killer again kills everyone except her and her dogs (i dont have the willpower to kill dogs even if its fictional) but she she’s it no aunt or uncles or grandparents just her dogs and they seized them but she keeps asking the team about her dogs bc shes like temp living out of the station but she begs them to see her dogs and they’re like fine alright and the team loves the dogs and a cute moment if clarity that reminds the team why they do what they do

i’m rewatching glee so here are a bunch of glee inspired things i imagine reid’s daughter doing i came up w thru

-spencer comes home from work one night to his daughter just like, sobbing hysterically and she they hug for a while but then she locks herself in her room and avoids reid only leaving for food and to throw up then he’s like ok time to talk after worrying for a few weeks and she’s prego and her bf broke up with her because of it and she doesn’t know what to do

-being the lead for glee and reid and the team go and support her at sectionals, something similar to season 1 where she pulls a rachel berry and she has to do an impromptu solo song and they’re all like your kids v good reid where’d she get the talent

-his daughter is the lead cheerleader for his school (she’s a flyer) and the team goes to a game to see the routine and when she’s yeeted into the air he’s freaking out cuz like what if they drop her she’d, like, die. maybe the team drops her? we’ll see what happens if/when/if i write this

I remember once you said that Kaede has better dynamics with Kaito and Kokichi than Shuichi based on their character and actions in the game. I kind of disagree? It's just my personal preference but I feel all 3 of a trio being so similar isn't that much interesting? I have the same problem with survivor trio as well, all 3 of them are quiet reserved characters who changed during the game. /1/

Kaito/Kaede/Kokichi would be 3 characters who put a facade to hide their insecurities or personal struggles and helped their friends in their own way. Sure in both trios all 3 characters are so different, but I feel a outgoing character was needed in the survivor trio. /2/

Shuichi is more interesting to be with Kaito/Kokichi IMO since unlike them, he's a cautious quiet guy who always portrays himself less than what he actually is, and feels he always needs someone. What do you think? /3 end/

- To be totally honest with you, Anon, I tried to think about when I said that or why I said that and I came up with nothing, so it’s a bit difficult for me to discuss it since I have literally no context XD I’m sorry, I can be very forgetful when it comes to things like that and sometimes I change my mind, so it’s just. Kinda difficult to explain it in relation to what I said before. So I’m sorry if my answer isn’t what you hoped it would be. I just don’t have the full picture here. My life is also kind of a mess right now and I feel too mentally exhausted to like, be a good conversation partner, I’m afraid. I’ll do my best tho. 

Hm, I think Kaede has better dynamics with them in a sense that she’s more active than Shuichi who tends to stand on the sidelines, unlike Kaede who tends to put herself out there. Both Kokichi and Kaito kind of dominate their interactions with Shuichi and he’s fine with that and simply lets them do that and in that sense Kaede is much more interesting because she has rather strong opinions about things and can be just as stubborn as the two of them. From that perspective I really enjoy their interactions because they’re never boring and also very action-oriented as opposed to the ones with Shuichi during which he’s the observer and doesn’t interact with them in a more direct way. Both options have their advantages and I honestly like both dynamics as well as any possible combinations of them. I am also personally totally fascinated with the similarities between Kokichi, Kaito and Kaede, their roles in the game and also personalities and I’m not gonna lie, I could spend hours discussing it in more detail because it’s just the kind of shit I’m really into. If all three of them were to interact I feel like they’d clash horribly but it’d be absolutely fascinating to watch. Especially since they all had very similar goals and what is different is the methods they use to obtain it which in my eyes is a very interesting concept especially considering that all of them ultimately end up dead. But I think it really might be a personal thing? Like, I’m just very into the concept of narrative foils and the ‘two sides of the same coin’ thing.  

Now, I’m a huge Saioumota fan (like, I am literally running Saioumota Week this year), so I obviously enjoy the ship and their interactions. The whole dynamic is very appealing from my point of view because they balance each other out perfectly when you put all three of them together and have the potential to be healthy and healthy polyamory in general is one of my favorite things in fiction when it comes to romance. 

So it’s kind of like... when it comes to analyzing stuff I just love Kaede/Kaito/Kokichi dynamic because of their roles in the story, but when it comes to shipping and just enjoying the relationship Saioumota is my jam. 

Does that make sense? God, I hope it does.

Also, as for the surviving trio thing, i really couldn’t agree more. It’s not that I hate the surviving trio or anything, it’s just... They are not only not the characters I wanted to survive but I also feel like they really could have used some more energy, for me the last chapter was just kind of boring and lacked personality (if you can say that abt a chapter, lol, sorry, I am really tired). I really liked the end of the previous game because even if I wasn’t a big fan of all of the survivors they were still an interesting bunch and the way they interacted with all the plot twists and revelations was engaging and fun because of how different they were. The fact that we had more survivors also helped a lot. I’m all for V3 survivors supporting each other post-game and learning how to grow but as a fan of more cynical approach I can easily see them giving up and isolating themselves due to their personalities and the fact that we’ve seen it happen in the game. 

Anyways, sorry for my rambling and I hope it’s at least a little bit coherent xd’’

HEY YALL IM BACK WITH ANOTHER REVIEW AND S HIT this video actually came out at a different time rather than 6pm (aka 2am for me) so this is hella late but i have FINALLY gathered my thoughts

okay THE SONG so we are still sticking with a word we dont really GET but were still very HERE FOR IT!!!! do i know what an ‘umpah umpah’ is??? NO but im still here! the song is VERY FUN!!!!!!!!! AND UPBEAT!!!!!!!!! it didnt take me very long to start swaying and bouncing with the instrumental!!!!! feels very summery!!! also the ‘something unforgettable’ part they sing just HITS me for some reason like it really is something unforgettable- also the deeper ‘umpah-pah umpah-pah’ part was interesting but i honestly DONT REALLY HATE IT and i dont hate them say ‘umpah umpah’ i must say the ‘let the beat drop feel so so hot hot’ is kinda everything

they really displayed their vocal power all throughout and literaLLY MESSING ME UP WITH HIGH NOTES AND ADLIBS (like joy in the second chorus................ pls)  but like wendy seulgi and joy also go OFF™ with vocals

I don't really understand why everyone is waiting for a sonic adventure sequel. The adventure series has ended years ago and it's perfectly normal for SEGA to prioritize new original games like Sonic Forces. I'd rather wait for a new fresh, creative game than a sequel they would have a huge chance of messing up (like they pretty much did with Sonic 06, but i still like the game tho). But what if they made a one (officially)? What would be a good new sonic adventure game for you? (i'm curious xp)

for the last time they didnt mess up with 06 !!!!!!!!!!! they didnt do anything wrong!!!!!!!1 it was just lots of events that couldnt be stopped inconveniencing the production and in the end they just didnt have the time and resources to flesh the game out; if they did have time and help they could’ve totally made this game revolutionary :(

what i hoped/theorized forces would be

why forces looks like an adventure game, but isnt an adventure game

what i want in a new sonic adventure game (doesnt need adventure in the title)

lemme just sum up why i think forces is lacking and what i thought it would be when the first trailer dropped

I thoguht we’d get a 3 story game again. where each character shows us a different perspective of the same story.

I thoguht sonic story was about sonic fighting the eggman empire and infinite, perhaps being trapped in infinites illusions and breaking out after noticing that things are VERY wrong when infinites clones of his friends start acting weird

the avatar is on their way to protect their city and about to give up until they see sonic and they decide to be a hero themselves to help others and therefore go on their own journey to confront infinite (back then i theorized that infinite was their childhood friend)

and classic story (as much as i hate it) would be about classic dimension warping and perhaps overhearing eggmans plan abt the ruby (bc like. he came with the ruby from mania but like. okay.) and through him being a lil spy we get to know more about the origin of infinite until he eventually joins with the main cast becuase a final story where all 3 fight eggman together was inevitable.

however story perspective is not necessary considering unleashed’s placement

ofc multiple gameplay styles and/or multiple playable characters are THE mandatory thing for an adventure game BUT forces gameplay didn’t have a very varying feel to it. the controls were a little tweaked for classic and avatar had the wispons, but essentially it was the same as sonic but with Gimmicks/Tweaks.

also the spirit of the game’s story didn’t have this strong adventure vibe. It preached the power of friendship, yet it was so….. hollow and empty. due to the avatar being a passive character their friendship with sonic was just so….. fake.

“power of friendship” was just hollow words in this game.

personally i also think the ost was lacking, theme of infinite is the most iconic song to come from it , and the only memorable song next to it was fist bump. which is sad (mainly bc it wasnt even the final boss theme)

also remixes and reuses arent a taboo in adventure games (sa2 did it too) but i think it’s different if character themes and maybe… one or two level themes are reused. there should be plenty more original content.

some ppl say crush40 is mandatory, but I don’t think so. the crush40 version of his world IS NOT the main theme for 06, and unleashed also didnt have c40 (jun did do the guitars tho)

i already debunked chao garden so like. not necessary

on the topic of original content i also want to say that the levels in forces were lacking variety. the environment was different, yea, but the way you get throguh the levels didnt really change much despite more 2d sections in eggman base levels and like. more spikes in urban areas and more slides and 3d in the “jungle” level. it wasnt even really a jungle it was jsut ruins… and green hill… AGAIN….. was not really anything special or new either

what i mean is that even when the optical stuff of the levels is different there was zero change of atmosphere or feel. no change in stradegy to get through. it was all just……. the same.

sonic forces was…………..boring.

the most exciting part was the customization and i bet kids loved it. ppl who dont know much about game design and just are in to pass time and have some fun probably loved this game. but like. the game doesnt entertain anymore after its beat for the first time. replaying is a real drag, the fun was literally just…. in the story and getting enough customize stuff to make ur dream avatar.

if anyone feels different, as said, thats valid, but from a design point this is terrible.

WHAT I WANT IN A NEW SONIC (adventure) GAME

i do have a game concept for a silver game lying around (with gameplay, controls, story, levels and some dialogue) that would be an adventure-esque game but i cant leak that yet its too unfinished still

let’s start at the bare minimum: no ooc sonic anymore. writers take notes and be serious for once. sonic knows when its time to joke, and in case yall dont know the answer is NOT 24/7

also maybe more than just sonic playable OR have other characters be relevant beyond a bunch of jokes and random voice lines. (preferably both)

the story should be engaging and have a deeper meaning and a strong vibe for justice and/or freedom; the characters have to undergo development and learn from their mistakes. also the story CAN be dark/more serious while still being suitable for children.

we need a minimum of ONE plot twist.

gameplay styles should be varied and not just sonic, and sonic but with a gun

there NEEDS to be some kind of open world/exploration element in the game. be it a hug world or ingrained in the levels themselves. (things can be open world and still linear just saying)

iconic music!!! vocal theme!!! character themes should be representing the characters personality again!!!!11

story perspectives arent mandatory, but definitely a plus!!!!

minor puzzles in the levels please…. make it challenging to get through !!!1

Okay I know that kingdom hearts has a bad reputation for sticking crucial plot information on obscure spinoff games but HOLY SHIT I just finally watched a lets play of the fuckin digimon tcg game and found out it ACTUALLY HAS A GODDAMN CONCLUSION TO ANALOGMAN FROM DIGIMON WORLD 1

like 90% of the damn game has no plot whatsoever let alone indicating its a digimon world sequel! and then suddenly in the last battle without being foreshadowed whatsoever analogman returns and gets possibly the best boss battle ever IN A GODDAMN TCG GAME

holy shit his whole fight is framed as ‘this is literally the same guy from digimon world 1, hacking another game’, the interface wigs out and a bunch of fake command windows pop up with rapidly scrolling code of the game supposedly falling apart. And then his boss battle flips the entire gameplay system on its head by giving him fourth wall breaking special moves that pull overpowered effects by “hacking the engine”, with cool animations to fit. Fuckin badasssss!!

and it also fuckin FINALLY EXPLAINS THE DAMN PLOT LIKE GEEZ

digimon world’s conclusion was so rushed, you never even meet the villain until the final battle and it ends all weird with just “something” going wrong that causes him to get sucked into a portal or something while screaming dramatically in weirdly high resolution terror faces??? the tcg game confirms that this was him attempting to flee back to the human world after you defeated him, but one of the stray attacks from the battle damaged his machine and it caused him to essentially commit accidental suicide when he turned it on.

and HOLY SHIT MY FUCKIN OBSCURE HEADCANON IS TRUE????

the game had some sequel bait hints that maybe analogman is somehow still around and that the portal explosion just turned him into “corrupted data” so he can never return to the human world. and i always thought it would be super ironic if he actually got turned into a digimon aka the thing he hates more than anything

WELL OKAY I GUESS CRITICAL LORE IN A TCG GAME IS OKAY WHEN ITS A BIG YES BUNNI U THEORY BE CORRECT

he appears in this game as a malomyotismon who does a damn good vexen face during the fight, lol. And he’s all “gahh that stupid kid ruined my plans but this accursed body at least improved my hacking abilities!” Tho its implied that his corrupted state is more like a bodyless cloud of data that can possess/copy different digimon, which would be REALLY FUCKIN CRITICAL to explaining the goddamn plot of Digimon World Next Order!

Seriously wtf is up with this series? Digimon World 2 is not the sequel to Digimon World 1, all the numbered games are entirely separate individual stories with wildly different genres from pet sim to roguelike strategy. The real sequel is fucking DIGIMON THE CARD GAME THE GAME and then Digimon World Next Order a bazillion years later for the ps4. In which i am STILL REALLY SALTY that they have a FUCKIN RAD remix of analogman’s boss theme yet he doesn’t appear in the game. The added context of this damn tcg game confirms once and for all that the Ambiguous As Fuck Ending actually WAS him appearing in the game, this unexplained “oh wait the villain was good all along and he was just possessed by an evil virus” was supposed to be corrupted-digi-analogman and seriously WHY DONT THEY JUST FUCKIN EXPLAIN IT!!! this tcg game wasnt even released in europe!! and even american fans probably had no clue it was linked to this entirely separate subseries! You have to friggin piece it together with context clues like the battle music and the fact analogman’s signature mon was machinedramon. I mean vjesus christ Next Order is a litera; sequel with the grown up version of Digimon World’s protagonist as a badass home ec teacher who still defends the digital world in his free time yet you couldnt spare ONE LINE OF DIALOGUE mentioning the name of the villain?? and summarizing the fuckin tcg game everyone missed??? AND CONFIRMING THAT THE VILLAIN IS INDEED MAKING A REAPPEARANCE POSSESSING THIS GUY??? oh god everything makes SENSE, thank you terrible card game adaptation. ehh but i do still love Next Order for making Hiro/Mameo’s canon partner Mamemon, he’s even more badass as this big tough bishie version of himself with a tiny adorable pal that can shoot rocket fists through space and time. (its funny tho cos the DW1 intro movie showed metalmamemon and metalgreymon and the american boxart flipped a coin and decided metalgreymon must have been the one the protagonist was using in that scene. Whoops!)

anyway even with the added context that IT WAS INDEED GODDAMN ANALOGMAN, the final boss fight in Next Order was as terrible as the rest of the plot. So I’m glad trash gramps got a suitably badass boss fight after all, even if it was a CARD GAME VERSION! lets all celebrate the awesomeness of this obscure fuckin spinoff game’s obscure fuckin intercontinuity cameo with the boss fight music that other game wasted

seriously fuckin hell the biggest challenge in that final boss was that i was so distracted by SHEER OFFENDEDNESS at the cool music not matching it that it was hard to keep focused

its not just a great boss theme for a terrible boss, its a really fuckin EMOTIONAL song for anyone whose childhood was fuckin defined by the first game!!!

and look you had a PERFECT FUCKIN EXCUSE for a REALLY GOOD boss battle against MY MAN GRUMPY GRANDPA OF THE COOL DAMN NAME. Seriously guys analogman was THE FIRST digimon villain! digimon world came out before the anime, digimon world was the BETA FOR THE ANIME! this was the first place they had the ideas for file island, so much of the areas in the game are awkwardly mistranslated versions of stuff that would later appear in the anime in a different form. before this digimon had never been anything more than a fuckin 2-bit graphics tamagotchi and this was (after the manga) only the second goddamn time these monsters had an actual full colour character design! all of those charmingly janky 90s gross out show styled tcg illustrations? that was concept art that this game was working from! fuckin hell this game thought up the idea for metalgreymon’s changed design that ended up becoming the iconic partner of tai in the anime. (you can also see beta tai in the manga with a beta veemon as a partner instead! o_O)

My Pride, My Joy, My love: The “Original Character” Trend

I remember when I was enjoying my life as a Middle schooler (over here we call it grade 6) I enjoyed a lot of the internet during that time. I became a fan of Minecraft and enjoyed all the modern cartoons at the time. Me and my friends were very into Five Nights at Freddy’s and during that time period is where a lot of good late childhood memories formed for me.  All these media has made me into the creative person I am today, despite my career choice of the moment, I’m very proud as an artist. Part of that pride is my creativity to make OCs (Original Characters). Like many other artists growing up to these trends, I would have all these ideas and draw them out in my notebook. Whenever I get home from school, I would finish my assignments just so I have the freetime to play Doll Dress up games to create stories and characters (This was such a highlight of my life tbh and im not ashamed!! DOLL DIVINE MY LOVE!)  Getting to play with these games and playing around with MS Paint was my humble beginnings of becoming an artist online (mygash i sound like im famous but im not XD) 

A confession, the first time I made my own original characters is when I was still dreaming about playing Minecraft [ yes, I dreamt about playing Minecraft one day because my dad won’t let me play it and we had to buy it heheh silly but I was real ecstatic when I was able to play it on mobile-- but playing it on PC, I was super happy like- this is literally a dream come true for me y’all, I can’t express my happiness ] I would create what my Minecraft skin would look like, I never really told anyone about that. But later on I slowly created a story behind these characters for my own pleasure and fantasy. It feels so wonderful like I’m back to my kid self being in my own world.

This eventually became something I got stuck with until now, creating original characters with their own storylines but never really posting them about it. I made Gemsonas (Steven Universe fan characters), Five Nights at Freddy OCs, Yandere Simulator, and many more until they became their own original thing for me.

I can’t really count how many characters I have made through playing online games but they we’re mostly revolved around my personality and my friends. As I matured I realized how cringey that is hahah I guess I don’t want to look back at my personality back then even though nothing much change hehe. Though I still like how some of the characters I have made reflect what I am and what I wanted to be you know; that goes for almost any character ever made by someone similar to me, a character to reflect them in a way or project something they want to be someday. Nowadays I make characters that reflect more to the stories I create so it would be more fitting for them. My love for Original Character making came from a place where I dream of being famous (who doesn’t dream about that right?) I thought the ideas I have made were unique and at the time not have been thought of. As much as I want to share these ideas there was no where I shared these but between friends and myself, mostly just myself. I tried wattpad but somehow I never got to finish the stories. I tried Deviantart but right when I think I want to post I refuse to because I know the internet is a harsh place and my skills were not as extraordinary like the people I support. So ever since then, as much as I crave the attention, I never really pushed to get it. Instead all these characters I made are for my own pleasure. And I think that’s okay, I did these art for myself and it makes me super happy to come up with ideas and concepts. It shows how alive I am. It also worked in my favor because I improved as an artist too. I’m not the only one who feels this of course but I don’t know, this creative part of me is very strong. I was really happy when I started my Instagram, I don’t have many followers but I don’t care, the internet showed me it’s okay to just share whatever you want. Though I still feel anxious whenever I post, I mean there isn’t anything wrong with the post but what if someone saw it and many more. And like I use the hashtags to get notice but also not too much to get really noticed. I contradict myself a lot with that hahaha but I’m slowly just not caring about it. You can say this trend was my comfort and coping mechanism, I do enjoy self-insert stories and projecting my self into these characters. So far that’s how much I can express my love for doing this trend. The original character trend is still as strong as ever and it’s more developed hahah. I admire those artists that indulge a lot to their characters even without a piece of media to fully express their world. That’s why I still fancy this topic a lot. I can talk about my original characters for a whole week but that sounds super annoying tho no? HAHAHA Anyway I am proud of this part of me and maybe I can express that part of me more soon when I feel it’s right. Right now I’m doing fanart but then it will be fanworks then original stuff. I have a bunch of original content made but it may take a long time to present it well. My love and joy for this is boundless ahahah that’s all I can say Extra: The pics are from my gamer childhood (I am best dress up gamer!!!) and ofc the characters I made throughout that time. Not gonna lie but looking at the old art I made as a gr6 is S U P E R  C R I N G E. I want to share more, believe when I say I have TONS of characters but I think I will regret every moment once I scroll my own page in the future HAHAHA.

Inconsistency of motivations and it’s effect on plot

Warning: Major spoilers for Comrades under the cut. If you have not reached the end and do not want to be spoiled do not read.

With the addition of Comrades into the FFXV franchise we are delivered some additional lore and happenings with our characters and the side characters. This is great and not inherently a bad thing. We get to read about what happened to Talcott and a few of the others in the interim years. At the same time, however, I can not dismiss the haphazard and often lazy story telling devices that make a DLC like Comrades possible.

Allow me to put this out there: it is retconning. A lot of what happens to our glaives and Astral motivations in particular is retconning. Retconning by itself is not an inherently bad literally device if only an overused one in media. The most common reasons for retconning are [s]:

To accommodate desired aspects of sequels or derivative works which would otherwise be ruled out;

To correct and overcome errors or problems identified in the prior work since its publication;

To change how the prior work should be interpreted;

To match reality, when assumptions or projections of the future are later proven wrong.

Now for the purposes of what I am seeing and gleaning from Comrades in regard to your glaive and the Astrals falls under number 1 with a healthy sprinkling of 3. Again that is the frame of this post and nothing further.  

( Sidebar conversation: The reason many of us are attached to Comrades is the ability to create an avatar and have the feeling of effecting the world in some capacity. The avatar since we created we have more attachment towards because this is something we put thought into. It is human nature. Nothing wrong with it. )

We are introduced to our storyline with the following:

‘Your body is a vessel for the blessings of the stones of Lucis... but let it be known your transgressions have not been forgotten... only then shall you be set free from the burdens you bear.’

All right without delving into the lore hidden from us in the menu screen that expands as we progress we are led to believe that the Glaives despite lacking a pact with a living king have their powers back. It’s a stretch. Let us consider in Kingsglaive where Nyx and the others lose their powers upon the death of Regis whom they borrowed their power from. Regis dies. The glaives lose their power. Nyx had to plead to the kings of yore for a temporary leave of their power with a price to pay. The price being his life to ensure the future survives.

Yet, somehow the glaives have their powers back again without being connected to a living king to drain from. The explanation comes to us later that the glaives were granted this power by the graces of what Lunafreya did for Noctis during the battle with Leviathan.

So awakening the power of kings in Noctis somehow through an act of god gives these powers back to men and women whom were severed from them during Regis’ death. If the opening is led to be believed the ones whom were traitors to Lucis receive these powers. We are told nothing of the ones whom remained loyal ( if surviving ) were given the same ‘blessing’. Did their powers too return? Or are we only gifting them to the ones who were traitors to repent for their ‘sin’? Logically, we already see the first falling apart in answering this question. We shall reward the traitors, but curse the loyalists.

This is a sentiment that is later repeated in Bahamut’s entry ( further down the post ) and given that the main protagonist turns out to be a traitor too then we are giving a blessing as a curse to traitors. Man if I have to commit a sin to get awesome powers because some vague absolution of said sin, sign me the fuck up. 

Furthermore, if Luna could just enable the power of kings why do we need the ring aside from a conduit for the Crystal to dump its power into? Why do we need to collect the glaives of the old rulers when she can just ‘unlock’ the power? Why would Nyx need to sacrifice himself just to gain their power for one evening? Why would Ravus need to lose his arm for even trying on the ring?

See in Kingsglaive, there is a price for such power. It drains the king. If you want to obtain it without the king then you have a price to pay. Nyx paid with his life. But now the Kings of Yore are handing out their powers like candy at Halloween? I highly doubt Luna was begging them for assistance for anything other than PLEASE HELP NOCTIS WIN THIS FIGHT!

These kings also talk to the glaives. Yet, none of them talk to Noctis? Tell him of what is to come? They have spoken to Regis, but never Noctis. Though I am certain this was a device to keep us the players in the dark on the story there is a way of telling the player something the character knows but you don’t. Again this game is trivializing Noctis and further designating him as a lamb for slaughter. We, the Kings of Yore, can speak to some random glaives, but not the Chosen? Yeah I call bullshit.

And if I want to take this from another aspect: the power drains the king as seen with Regis... we are draining the Kings of Yore which Noctis needs to end the endless night ( more like endless twilight up until the last scene of Comrades tho ). Either way we have to completely disregard established canon in Kingsglaive to take Comrades additions as canon or disregard aspects of Comrades and take Kingsglaive as canon. You can not have both without the inconsistencies.

Astral Motivation

Otherwise known as the fickle, ever changing and wtfery.  The Astrals have always had poor lore in FFXV. Comrades further muddies the waters on Astrals and to a greater extend the prophecy. So what is the motivation for the gods you ask? Well to judge you of course for your sins! To designate your glaive, the traitor, as a Guardian of Angelgard! To bring back the light to Angelgard so Noctis can wake! So Noctis has been sleeping for 10 years not because of the Crystal needing to unleash its power onto the ring and by extension Noctis, but because we were waiting for random glaive to come and wake him?

Please point out anywhere in the prophecy this is mentioned. If anyone should be designated as Noctis’ guardians it should be the three following him around. But nah Bahamut is gonna just choose among some traitors to prove themselves for the honor. Not only that he is going to bestow his blessing and grace. Know what this flies in the face of?

The fact the Oracles and Kings are the only ones who can form such bonds with the gods. In a game where lore is so scant any small tidbit has to be taken into consideration. This is just another inconsistency in the story.

To further this odd motivation of Bahamut please take into account once again the language disparities. Here is the Spanish language version screenshot where it states your glaive is granted immortality and Bahamut’s blessing in battle. 

‘This divine holds a tight relationship with the Caelum House— the Glaives have an emblem with the figure that represents him. For the gods' benevolence he didn't have a death-like slumber, but came back to give a chance of expiation to the Glaives who confronted the very crown which they were meant to serve and which they've got their powers from. It was expected of the Glaives to be capable of protecting their own until the incoming King awakened, to earn enough power to give everything for the royal house, thus cleanse their traitor image. And it was those who showed the required qualities to become guardians of Lucis received from Bahamut an immortal body and his eternal blessing on battle.’ — ( translation provided by @umbraticum )

So the glaives are immortal now. But another thing to note here absolving your glaive of sin returns the light to Angelgard.

Look at that beautiful sunlight. I guess we didn’t need the Chosen King after all. We kick Bahamut’s ass enough to absolve us of our sins and the sun will return! Quick everyone in Eos get over here to kick Bahamut’s ass.

Back to the point of retconning this lessens the impact of Noctis’ sacrifice and draws further question if this whole elaborate thing was needed at all. We just need to absolve mankind of theirs sins to return the light after all.

Also flies in the face of a certain document we find in Lestallum that the Scourge is caused by a parasitic organism drinking the light. But nah. Just gotta absolve mankind of its sin.

I know this was addition to make our OC glaives appear to have a real impact on the story, but really this inclusion cheapens the sacrifices of Nyx, Luna, and Noctis if all we needed to do was this.

Also how can the gods not guard Angelgard themselves? They were already doing so before you arrived. Are they really just that lazy and hands off? Which they have been nearly the entire game, so now out of the blue Bahamut needs a bunch of traitors to become his champions?  The gods have been if anything thus far but cold and calculating on the execution of the prophecy. So once again I ask, where was any of this detailed?

The Final Scene

You know what was great about scene of Noctis waking up on the island? The desolation. The hopelessness. The lack of life. The feeling we need to do something as players as Noctis to restore the world because this isn’t acceptable. By the inclusion of the glaive team and Gentiana at the boat we are greatly lessening that impact and in turn giving a very different vibe. It takes away from the desolation we are supposed to feel.

These are questions the Comrades DLC poses and to me negates some of the sacrifices these other characters made to be able to fit in MP with a storyline. And let me real here: This storyline sounds shoehorned in because it is. The concept of the multiplayer DLC was not in the original plans for the game during autumn of 2016 [s] .

As a whole Comrades lore regarding the glaives and the gods is murky, inconsistent, and often flies in the face of canon. As such I wish to consider Comrades at best a nice AU in an attempt to include us the players into the game and feel like we have an impact and at worst a money grab by Square to ride on that sweet, sweet MP hype.

In closing this is a fine example of....

A Systematic Issue in the Gaming Industry

Let’s be real FF as a whole have always suffered from a suspension of disbelief to make the stories work. There have always been logical fallacies and inconsistencies within their works. However, ( aside from the complication of FFVII ), have not broken a fundamental storyline aspect in the game. Comrades does exactly this. It was created after the fact for Square Enix to cash in on both the hype of FFXV and the shoving multiplayer in games fad ( see Deus Ex ) sweeping the game industry as a whole, they went and retconned their story with little regard to the original tale.

This brings up an even more disconcerting trend. The fact I, as a fan and consumer, have to purchase add-on DLC that effects the main storyline so completely is frankly a bunch of horseshit. It is a precedent in the gaming industry that is predatory and an obvious money grab. In the case of Comrades a cash grab for the hype of Multiplayer. DLC should not fundamentally alter the storyline. I should not need to purchase paid DLC to understand the entirety of a story a game or any media is trying to tell.

Now I await the day one of the updates adds micro-transactions to deal with the Comrade’s grinding problem. 8) I hope I’m wrong on that. If you enjoy Comrades and playing the game go ahead that is your right. Enjoy the fuck out of it. I only mean to draw attention to the issues that this DLC adds to the game and how Square Enix is falling into that AAA game predatory customer mindset.

Nothing specific but i remember playing outdoors with my siblings A LOT like we had a pretty big backyard so we’d constantly be out there, being imaginative and coming up with fake scenarios and acting them out, or like playing with the hose in the summertime or THE POOL omg we had this pool and we’d be in it so much...... also video game battles with my older brother ! my childhood was kinda shitty but at least i have those moments to reflect back on 

If you could bring anyone back from the dead who would it be? My first theatre teacher from high school... he passed away due to cancer around my sophomore year... he was really inspiring to me, i mean he’s kinda the reason why i stuck with that class and didn’t totally give up (thus resulting in me finding out that i love acting and that’s what i wanted to do with my life) 

If you could go back to any time period and live there for a week, which period would it be and why? GIVE ME THE 80′S OH MY GOD my mom grew up in the 80′s as a teenager so i always hear all the stories from her about what it was like and it seemed like ??? so cool ?? especially if you were a teen like what a dream ! give me my 80′s teen movie memories !!!

Hmmmmm psychology interests me ?? i took a psychology class my junior year of high school and it was really fascinating, learning about human behavior and those stories of old psychology experiments (so Wild too like damn, i can’t believe they got away with so much shit back then)

So this lil bun I thought for a while when I first followed them like oh he’s probably the most normal like he’s level headed and stuff but NOPE NOPE NOPE! A dancing noodle from southeast China wow (I say noodle bc he is a skinny bean and also v flexible bc he does martial arts things wow) he did Kung Fu in china for a long as heck time and does a lot of kicky things and flips and he’s super cool ALSO FUN FACT: HIS NAME IS JUN AND HE WAS BORN IN JUNE WOOHOO a lot of people assume he’s like sly/greasy but that’s mostly him in like interviewy shows?? But in reality shows and vlives he is actually just such a cute sweet bean and he loves the members so much! He was a child actor in china and was p famous I think for a while?? But he learned Korean p well before he joined pledis (their label btw idk if you know or not lol) BUT EVEN FROM DEBUT HIS PRONUNCIATION HAS KEPT IMPROVING IM SO PROUD a lot of people cal him the true visual of svt (tbh I don’t like that bc they’re all beautiful don’t put anyone down ah) BUT HE IS SO HANDSOME LIKE DAMN BOY HE’S GOT SUCH NICE FEATURES AND HE IS THE CUTEST BEAN IN THE WORLD Alsoooo several of the members have dubbed him svt’s mother bc he’s super encouraging and “endless positivity jun” and he pays special attention to minghao they have the purest friendship!! (plz give him lines)Kwon Soonyoung aka Hoshi (HOSH) - DANCE MASTER AND PERF TEAM LEADER OF SEVENTEEN LIKE OKAY ALL OF PERF TEAM IS SO TALENTED I CAN’T BELIEVE BUT SOONYOUNG IS SO INCREDIBLE HE CAN CREATE DANCES ANYTIME ANYWHERE AND HE EXECUTES THEM SO WELL?? His stage name Hoshi means star in Japanese bc he shines in stage! And he knows Japanese pretty well I don’t think he’s fluent but he cute cute cute!! Anyway people rec him to go on hit the stage (WHICH I AM SO HERE FOR (but also let him rest he needs a break dear god they all do)) he creates all of svt’s dances wow (w help from perf team ofc) but he is actually the squishiest sweetest boy off stage but then on stage he completely transforms into whatever concept like he can take on anything?? The other members act like they hate his jokes but they always laugh at what he says and when he was gone (rip he was sick for a couple months from end of may ish to july ish) they mentioned that they missed his dumb jokes (and so did I). He considers himself to be the best looking (what a ho) and he is naturally skinny which a lot of the members are jealous of (but tbh this could be partially because he has a lot of health issues and allergies I just want to care for him and make him food and feed him forever so he gets fat and happy help me) On one fine day he was dubbed the garden fairy and also jeon wonwoo bag of luck oh my god I am so embarrassed by him (jk I love him w the entirety of my heart in case you couldn’t tell) Some of my favorite things abt wonwoo are his little nose crinkles when he smiles and his glasses that look just so cute on him and when he wears big sweaters and then he has sweater paws and he looks so cuddly and soft. It’s so heartbreaking tho if you ever want to cry and cough up your lungs bc of sobs then watch SVT Project where he talks abt how he feels so much pressure and feels like their success or failure is riding on him bc he writes all their music and will determine if they will be any good:(((( BUT OBVIOUSLY THEY ARE A BIG HIT BC JIHOONIE IS SUPER TALENTED AND MAKES THE BEST UPBEAT FUNKY FRESH POP TUNES OF THE CENTURY~ he is one of (if not the) shortest male idols at the moment at a staggering 165cm/5'4"! But it’s so great bc he doesn’t try to hide his heigh and he is considered and “inspiration to short men” according to one fashion report. The members always say he is rlly manly but on camera he acts cute and 10/10 appreciate it bc he is the cutest ever but only subtly… like he embarrassingly/shyly covers his face so cutely and gets angry so adorably where he just glares aw (he has also confirmed that he considers himself to be more cute than scary) woozi is a abbreviation of “our jihoon” which is the cutest asjkdhskl. He is also seventeen’s grandpa bc he is rlly not too hip at all but they try to help him out anyway! He also winks 24/7 lol. His voice is rlly clear and piercing like he often sings parts of the chorus and his voice draws you in idk it’s nice:) he trained for the second longest amount after scoops (5 years) so they’re super close bc they were together longer than the other membersLee Seokmin aka Dokyeom/DK - an actual ray of sunshine w the most incredible vocals like wow! He is svt’s “happy virus” and boy does he own it!! He is always smiling and laughing and making jokes he is the cutest I stg… He also has a more built figure physically and it’s hot as heck tbh. He, seungkwannie and soonyoung make up the “booseoksoon” trio which is basically the extra/mc/always laughing squad and they are such close friends it’s the cutest ever boo and hosh think he’s the funniest person in the world I love it!! Seokmin also puts a lot of pressure on himself bc he’s main vocal and I feel like he’s super underrated???? But he went on King of Masked Singer and I think he made it through two or three rounds? Anyway he did rlly rlly good (even tho honestly think he has way more potential than what he showed) and I hope it boosted his confidence bc he is incredible!! The judges assumed he was from an older group bc his voice was so mature eeeee!! HE IS SO LOUD OH MY GOD one time they said that the CEO could hear him practicing from the 4th floor while he was in the basement I- He is always the first person to make fun of himself and he doesn’t mind being the brunt of a joke as long as he gets people to laugh it’s adorable:)) He always brings up the mood and helps out the members whenever there is awkwardness w being filmed and such JUST SUPPORT THIS SUNNY BOY HE HAS SO MUCH LOVE AND JOY IN HIS HEART!!Kim Mingyu - the tallest bean on the block and svt’s “visual tree” at a staggering 190cm/6'1" (correct me if I’m wrong I didn’t look this up) but I’m p sure he has grown recently bc he is getting taller everyday I swear? He’s got some good rap mhmm~ But he is such a clumsy pup and the members always make fun of him but it’s okay bc he can take it (he has the best reaction so that’s why they do it) He is dropping things and tripping 25/8 and it’s the cutest thing! But “housewife ming” can legit do anything like he is a true man of many talents damn i.e. cooking, hairstyling, acting, cleaning… But he is so so pretty like who the heck allowed him to be this attractive?? Gyu goes from super visual savior to fluffy pup on the daily and it’s too much to handle… Idk he seems like he might be super cool and chic when you first see him but he is actually just a giggly fool always having a hard time… Mingyu is the only one in svt that I would call the “visual” (only bc he is officially the visual i think they are literally gorgeous okay!!) but he is actually rlly insecure abt it and only calls himself “aspiring visual” and it’s mostly bc of his dark complexion WHICH IS COMPLETELY FLAWLESS AND SO BEAUTIFUL STOP WHITEWASHING KIM MINGYU PLZ but i rlly commend him for being visual despite common opinions/standards on skin color in korea. A lot of people (okay most people) ship him and wonwoo (aka meanie) and I do too, don’t get me wrong, but my all time favorite ship is mingyu and minghao (aka gyuhao) bc same age, they act like they hate each other but are actually super supportive (one of my fave tropes blah) and idk they’re both just confused pups help me and w that transition…

Xu Minghao/Seo Myungho(kor) aka The8 (i never call him the8 ever srry b i don’t like it idk ah) - our “cool cutie” from northeast(i think) China with the most killer bboying skills i’ve ever seen in kpop! He now introduces himself as “The8 with infinite possibilities” and he has been growing more and more as an artist and a person I’m so proud of him!! He trained for the shortest amount of time (~1year+2months i believe) and he really struggled w Korean when he first started. Even after debut he was very quiet but he has been talking more and more lately and he has been doing so well!! Minghao is cute as heck but he is also (along w hannie) svt’s Resident Savage™ and the main usage of his Korean improvement has gone into calling out the other members w his incredible comebacks. Two of his favorite targets seem to be soonyoung and mingyu but he rlly doesn’t hold back on anyone (except maybe jun bc they are such good buddies bc china line and jun helps him w his korean asjkklfjls) But anyway he is an incredible dancer and singer and also rapper!! (give him more lines plz plz plz) vernon has been helping him w his korean rapping but he is already one lit mandarin rapper like damn… But minghao is the most supportive member of svt (hear me out) whenever they do broadcasts or radio shows minghao always gives thumbs ups/supportive smiles/high fives it is the purest thing and part of the reason I love him sm!!! He’s also super cuddly and is always touching/hugging the other members asjkltfasd. Sometimes he doesn’t quite understand a question and the other members help explain it to him it’s my favorite concept (it’s usually soonyoung or seungcheol but i’ve seen p much all of them do it) lately he has been getting more meme-y and idk how to feel but as long as he’s getting out of his comfort zone I am immensely proud of him:))

Boo Seungkwan (boo) - the other main vocal in svt and just generally the loudest and usually mc for the group. Boo has some of the most incredible vocals i’ve seen in my life and he sings probably my favorite cover duet of all time (the high note around 3:05 makes me emotional every time istg also their reactions are me) He’s so talented and his voice is so clear and nice and his RANGE! I could go on forever… To describe seungkwan in two words would be sweet and sassy… He is part of maknae/baby line but he’s always calling people out and bossing them around it’s hilarious. (he is generally hilarious tbh) Also he’s a huge volleyball program nerd it’s great (and possibly haikyuu!! but not confirmed) He’s commonly referred to as divaboo and the video just seungkwan things captures all his divaness perfectly 10/10 would rec! He’s also super english-y all the time probably bc he spends so much time w vernon which is great for us international fans whoop whoop. But back to him being sweet- even though he is definitely his own biggest fan (in the most adorable way omg) he is also svt’s biggest fan he always cheers on his members it’s so cute he’s so soft and good! He cares so much for the fans and he’s head of the Seventeen Fan Cafe (i think) and he’s great abt interacting w carats and all that fanservicey stuff:) He is also super underappreciated honestly support him bc he supports everyone else even tho he’s rlly insecure abt his looks and body even tho he is the most beautiful boo w THE BEST CHEEKBONES IN THE UNIVERSE HAVE YOU SEEN THOSE THINGS DAMN BOY

Hansol Vernon Chwe/Choi Hansol(kor) aka Vernon (bernonie) - One of the most well-known members of svt bc he’s half white and was also a child actor. He has some of the most lit raps tbh and i’m p sure every single one (or almost) has english in it lol. His mom is white and American and his dad is from Korea. Technically he was born in New York, USA BUT BUT BUT he moved to korea when he was five so he doesn’t remember it like at all and every host ever asks him abt it and he always has to say he is basically korean and JUST LET HIM LIVE but since his mom speaks english he is fluent in it (but he has said he is better at korean) He is super super visual and he gets more attractive every day like who the heckkk. Hansol is one of the more popular members so a lot of people would expect him to be outgoing (or even douchey bc he’s half white which is dumb yet it happens) but he is one of the quietest members and usually doesn’t speak up in interviews and such bc he’s kinda shy! BUT THIS DOES NOT I REPEAT DOES NOT MEAN HE IS NOT A MEME!! VERNON IS CONFIRMED THE MEMEIST MEMBER OF SVT ALONG W JOSHUA DON’T FIGHT ME. At this point he has even been dubbed “memesol” bc he makes the best reaction faces in recorded history dear god. He also finds literally everything so hilarious and definitely laughs the most whenever the other members do anything. Lee Chan aka Dino (MY SON) - I DON’T EVEN KNOW WHERE TO START W THIS LIL BAB! Lee Chan is svt’s “small giant” maknae who is Michael Jackson’s #1 Fan™ and literal dancing machineeee! He has grown so much since debut i cannot believe and he is getting more confident MY BOY! Honestly his glow up should be some kinda world record bc oh my god it hasn’t even been two years?? AND HIS RAP HAS IMPROVED SO MUCH LIKE EVEN FROM JAM JAM TO OMG Vernon rapped most of jam jam but then in omg chan rapped all of it by himself!!!! ALSO EVEN FROM OMG TO HIGHLIGHT NOW HE TRANSITIONS FROM RAPPING STRAIGHT INTO SINGING WITH THE SAME BREATH I CANNOT BELIEVE!! But he is so creative and funny and full of energy!! He helps hoshi w most of the dances (i think he did most of the choreo for jam jam) and his stage name is dino bc when he steps on the stage he takes it over and becomes a big presence like a dinosaur which is so creative??? he also graduated high school a while back and then just too his entrance exams!! I’m so proud!! But he tries so hard to keep improving and he’s just so pure and has a complete heart of gold♥ He also aspires to be an mc and he works rlly hard to improve his skills on that front too! Chan is so incredibly talented, but again not a whole lot of people bias him which is crazy???? Bc he is so hansome and also my son?? also lowkey savage af But all the members love him a whole lot and he is their baby, even though he is now “an adult” but srry bun no one will probably ever stop calling him baby (esp jeonghan)
