How about a Valentine's day story in a Blue Lock x Japan U20 match with manager y/n? Like while in the match and the breaks y/n gets lots of chocholate, flowers or gifts from the male fans which causes the players to be jealous and also some of the fans go even far as kissing y/n hand like a gentleman. The players had no idea that y/n made chocholate for both of the teams. She is kinda shy and scared to give them because she thought the boys wouldn't like the taste of the chocholate, the shapes of the chocholates or the color of the packets.

"Oh, damn. There are a lot of people here today!" (Y/n) gasped in surprise as she looked at the stadium that was more packed than on the previous match. Today, the JFA had organized a special match between the U-20 and Blue lock. It was nothing serious, and more meant as an entertainment program for Valentine's Day. The board members of the JFA thought it would be a good idea to organize the event as a cash grab for the holiday,which (Y/n) had to admit was a good idea. The ratings and money from the merch shops will definitely give them extra money.

'Greedy bastards.' She thought while side-eyeing the board members while she stood next to Anri and Ego.

"(Y/n), what's with that bag you brought?" Ego questioned as the boys were warming up. (Y/n), confused for a moment, looked at the item and then blushed in embarrassment while scrambling for words.

"I... I made some chocolate for the players of both teams." She whispered to the adults, which caused Anri to squeal at the cuteness.

"That's adorable! When are you giving it to them, though?" She raised an eyebrow.

"I... I don't know. I am a little embarrassed about the possible attention I might get from them... If only I could somehow avoid it." Anri and Ego kept quiet for a moment as they thought of a way to help her. Well, it was more Anri who did the thinking while Ego was busy monitoring the interaction between Rin, Sae, and Shidou.

"Ah! I know what we can do!"

"You do?" (Y/n) raised an eyebrow as Anri happily nodded her head.

"How about you anonymously leave the chocolate in their locker rooms while they are on the field. We should go there once the game starts." Anri suggested, which made (Y/n) smile at the idea.

"Sounds great! Is that ok with you, Ego-san?"

The said man thought the whole idea was stupid, and he wanted to say so, but once he saw the two give him puppy eyes, he sighed and nodded his head.

"Fine. I will just inform the other coach that you will be going into their locker room. Don't be gone for too long." The man said as the two cheered and thanked him.

"Keep it down-"

"Uhm, is someone named (L/N) (Y/n) here?" One of the maintenence staff members asked as he approached the trio.

"Why?" Ego asked bluntly, causing (Y/n) and Anri to facepalm.

"There are some fans who want to see her." The man answered as (Y/n) raised an eyebrow.

"I am her. But, what do you mean by fans?" She asked the man, and Anri and Ego looked back with the same amount of curiosity.

After explaining it to them, (Y/n) followed the older man to the field where some people were. To be fair, they weren't om the field, but on the stands close to it.

'Good God...' The girl gulped as she saw some guys and a few girls looking back at her in excitement while holding some gifts, she assumed at least.

"Don't take too long." The man warned as (Y/n) nodded her head.

"H-hi. How can I help?" (Y/n) wondered as the group smiled, holding out some gifts to her.

"Hello! I brought you these flowers-"

"Happy Valentine's Day! Please be my-"

"You look very cute today! Hope you like this chocolate! It's handmade-"

"I found these flowers! Heard you liked them-"

"Take mine instead!"

"My chocolate is way better!"

"I got you this plush toy!"

(Y/n) watched in shock and confusion as the group showed the various gifts that were meant for her by the sounds of it.

'Why... why are they giving those to me? I am not a player.' (Y/n) thought as she slowly approached the group, not wanting to be rude or anything.

"Th-thank you. You all shouldn't have brought me anything. I am really honored." The group stopped arguing as they watched the manager bow and smile at them.

'So respectful!'

'She looks so cute!' The group thought as they started arguing who will be the first one to give her a gift.

'Ahh... I hope nobody sees this mess. I don't want the attention to be diverted from the players. It's their day.' (Y/n) thought as she went to take the items, thanking everyone individually.

Meanwhile, what (Y/n) didn't notice was the players had already noticed the ruckus that was going on, and they were less than pleased.

"Who are those losers now?" Sae raised an eyebrow, not liking what he wa seeing. The same could go for Rin, who was silently growling as he saw (Y/n) accept those gifts, even going as far as smiling at the people.

'That's my manager. Don't get so comfortable with her.' He thought as Shidou was for once not sporting his usual cocky smile.

'Now, why is she paying attention to those nobodies?'

Aiku was about to speak up, but the 4 froze up when they saw one of the guys take (Y/n)'s hand into theirs and planting a kiss on it.

"Ok, that's about it. I have had enough." Aiku cleared his throat as he walked over to where (Y/n) was, the trip following close by as the rest of thebtwo teams glared daggers at the boy.

While that was going on, (Y/n) was getting more and more uncomfortable with the attention and tried to cut this gift giving short.

'Why did they even give these to me?' She still wondered, unaware of the 4 players approaching her.

"T-thank you again for the gifts. But, I really need to go now-"

"Can't you stay a little longer?"

"Yeah, the game didn't start yet."

The group protested as (Y/n) tried to find a way out. The gifts were too much for her to hold for so long.

"I'm-" She started speaking, but got interrupted by the familiar monotone voice Sae had.

"Having fun? Good, fun is over." (Y/n), surprised by his appearance turned around to scold hin for the rude tone.

"Don't be so rude, Sae-" But, she pretty much cut herself off when she saw the murderous looks Rin, Sae, Shidou, and Oliver were giving the group.

'What's up with them?!'

The game had eventually started after a good 30 minutes and Anri meanwhile dragged (Y/n) away to put the chocolates into the locker rooms. The chocolates were pretty simple. Milk chocolate with a few decorations, all wrapped up in colors that reminded her of the boys. It was pretty cliché in her opinion, but she hoped they would like them and not suspect her as the culprit.

'I really tried to make them look as different as possible.' (Y/n) thought as she put the last one into Neru's jacket pocket, blushing at the thought of them discovering her.

'That would be something I could never live down.'

The game had ended with the Blue Lock team winning after the time got extended to a whole 105 minutes, (Y/n), Anri, and Ego could see the team was exhausted, so they told them to take their time in changing and showering. Meanwhile, the trio would take care of the press or the gifts the Blue Lock team was receiving, which was something (Y/n) ended up taking care of.

'All these gifts look so much better than mine...' She thought, trying not to look sad as she wrote down what was for who. She didn't need fans going after her or spreading rumors.

'Well, at least I hope they taste good.' (Y/n) thought nervously as she took another gift, wondering if they found the chocolates by now.

"Hm? There is something in our pockets?" Otoya wondered as Anri giggled while closing the door.

"Yep! (Y/n) made some Valentine's chocolate for you guys! Don't say I told you, tho!" With that, the woman left the teens in a shocked state. That soon disappeared as they quickly looked through their pockets, and sure enough, the chocolates were there. All neatly wrapped.

"Woo-hoo! This is like the first time I got one! She even wrapped it in my favorite color!" Bachira cheered as he looked at the yellow wrapped item. Otoya quickly unwrapped his and took a bite.

"It's so good!" He cheered.

'Ahh! I can die now happily! Wait, is this (Y/n)'s way of confessing?!' Otoya thought as Karasu and Kurona took a bite from their's as well.

"It tastes the right amount of sweet. The decorations look adorable as well." Karasu chuckled while blushing.

"Just like her..." Kurona silently said as he continued eating his, trying to savor the taste as long as possible. Isagi, who took the time to read the message she wrote on the chocolate blushed and smiled.

'You did an amazing job!' He read, feeling his heart beat quicken when he saw the heart at the end.

"She is the best. This tastes amazing." He mumbled, earning nods from Niko and Hiori, who were sitting next to him.

"It does! It does! The packaging are adorable, too. She really put a lot of thought into them." Hiori said in adoration.

"You think she will bake for us one day?" Niko wondered with a red face as he read the message over and over.

"I mean, we could always ask her. (Y/n) is nice, I am sure she would." Reo announced, earning nods from the rest.

"I hope it will be a chocolate cake. Didn't have those in a while. She really made my day with this." Gagamaru smiled warmly, not used to getting chocolate on Valentine's Day from anyone. Nagi kept quiet as his face was a uncharacteristic red shade. The whole time he was staring at the wrapping paper while taking small bites of the chocolate.

'I am keeping this one forever.'

Barou was a blushing mess along with Tokimitsu, so they decided not to say anything as they ate their chocolates. Both were flattered and happy over this surprise. It was better than winning the match in their opinion.

"It has a really good taste to it. Not too sweet and not too bitter. She really thought of everything. So cute." Yukimiya smiled brightly, earning a nod from Aryu.

"Well, it is (Y/n) we are talking about. She is amazing and thoughtful." The brown-haired boy added in. Rin was looking for once relaxed and felt happy as he ate his piece, enjoying every moment of it.

'So good. Definitely better than winning against my brother. I love her so much.' Rin thought, his face turning redder. There was a silence in the room for a while, the team busy eating and thanking (Y/n) mentally for the gift. But, that silence was soon cut off by Chigiri.

"Now, we need to think of some good presents for White Day. Some that will make her forget about the gifts those people gave her today."

The rest of the team quickly nodded their heads.

"Huh?" Shidou hummed as he felt an unfamiliar item in his pocket and quickly fished it out, only to freeze up when he saw what it was. It was a neatly wrapped pink present, and by the shape of it, it was definitely chocolate.

"What is it, Shidou?" Teru asked, noticing the boy's frozen state.

"I got chocolate." The boy answered in confusion as he showed Teru the item, causing the rest of the locker room to look at him.

"You?! Why did you get chocolate?" Sendou yelled out, jealous at the blonde, which earned him a grin from Shidou.

"Probably because the ladies like me more."

"Hm? I got some as well." Sae pointed out as he showed the the team his burgundy wrapped item.

"Ha? And you two didn't put it in there yourselves?" Niou asked skeptically.

"Why would I do such a pathetic thing?" Sae questioned.

"You guys mad that you didn't get any?" Shidou snickered, earning glared from Sendou and Niou now.

"Hey! I got some as well! This is rare for me!" Neru said in excitement as he found a beige wrapped item in his pocket. Now this was a surprise for the rest.

"You as well?" Itsuki and Miroku mumbled as they discretely went through their pockets, only to find chocolate int them as well.

"Hey! I got some as well!"

"Me too!"

"This is weird..." Hayate said silently, blushing as he stared at his present as well.

"Woo-hoo! Hey! I got chocolate as well!!" Sendou blushed in excitement as he took put the present from his jacket pocket. Oliver, who also found a green and purple wrapped present, stared at it in confusion as Teru started eating his chocolate.

"It tastes good as well! It also has some cute decorations on it."

"Mhm!" Niou nodded as he ate his along with Hayate and Neru.

"But still, who put it into our pockets?" Sae asked out loud, earning silence instead of an answer.

"It certainly is weird. We didn't notice anyone near our stuff." Miroku chimed in as their coach walked into the room.

"Ah, I see you found those chocolates. Eat up and let's go." The team stared at the man in horror for a moment as Oliver spoke up.

"Please don't tell me you put these into our locker room."

"Yuck!" Shidou shivered at the idea, earning a glare from the coach.

"No, I have better things to do then make Valentine's Day chocolate." The man rolled his eyes.

"Blue Lock's manager made those for you, as surprise or something. She put those here while you guys were playing. Now, stop acting like school boys and pack your stuff." The man ordered as he walked out of the room, leaving the team in a stunned silence.

'The... The manager...made these for us?!' The team thought as they slowly started blushing at the thought.

"Aahhh~" they sighed happily as Sendou spoke up.

"Lucky bastards at Blue Lock probably get this treatment all the time." He said, sounding jealous as the rest tried to ignore that thought, opting to just enjoy the sweet gifts.

"Achoo!" (Y/n) sneezed as Ego looked at her in confusion.

"You ok?"

"Yeah. I think I am just getting sick." She said back, oblivious to what had happened in the locker rooms.

it was no surprise that barou was incredibly hesitant when it came to romance. he was possibly just as dense as you when it came to the subject.

if it weren't for bachira noticing the way that his gaze would stick to you, how little he shouted in your direction: it would have gone unnoticed. all it took was just a week's worth of constant pestering from his teammates to make him nearly start clawing at the walls.

he was so pissed that they had something to hold over him, someone to torment him with. meanwhile, you were so easily unaffected, it made him question if you even held any affection for him.

but barou is not a doubting man, he doesn't get nervous over something as simple as the idea of being rejected. so, begrudgingly, he ends up walking your way after a long practice: wanting to just get it over with.

a few 'woops' and cheers sound behind him, likely bachira and isagi. he only flips them the birdo over his shoulder before stopping in front of you.

"hey, y/n. go out with me." his voice is slightly rough, eyes narrowed. he may never find himself getting nervous over the most simple things, but barou swears his heart speeds up just slightly.

your eyes widen as your head tilts to the side, brows pinching in confusion. "oh? i'd love to hang out some time! shall we invite the rest of the team and maybe go bowling?" the words nearly have him letting out a shout, eye twitching.

he sighs, gritting his teeth. barou can feel the entire team staring him down, too far away to actually hear the words but still watching. "no, not with those peasants. just us." the man grumbles, the slightest hue of pink rising to the tips of his ears as his eyes hurriedly look off to the side.

then, your eyes widened, a smile crossing your face. "am i getting a surprise for something??" you just sound so damn excited that he can't help but internally groan.

strong hands grab your shoulders, hauling you closer. barou's face is dangerously close, his brows are furrowed and a vein pops out of his forehead. "dammit you moron, i'm hitting on you..!"

"but you're only holding me, not hitting..?" he lets out a loud exasperated shout, turning and storming off while the team watches in awe.

it seems the barou will have to try again another day, he ran out of confidence patience.

karasu tabito

karasu has never been one to have trouble with finding someone, much less with being able to attract them. he was a pretty boy, tall and lean, even had a talent to boot.

but you, you evaded his charms so easily. it made him feel like a damn fool. which leads to him ranting to otoya in the locker rooms after practice.

"i swear man, it's like they don't even see me as a man, ugh..." he trails off with a sigh, eyes closing as his head leans back against the lockers. sweat drips down his face before his eyes open to look back at his friend.

otoya lets out a wicked cackle, amused by his best friend's misery. "then ya gotta do somethin' real bold, make 'em remember!" he offers, smirking as karasu's eyes widen like he had an epiphany.

the taller boy jumps up, shouting a thanks as he rushes out of the locker room. he nearly tumbles over as he skids to a stop in front of you, chest heaving.

karasu backs you up against a wall, eyes narrowing as a smooth smirk splits his pretty pink lips. "wanna get out of here, angel..?" his voice is like honey, thick and sweet.

but you don't even flush, no sense of surprise or nervousness, just that same dumb smile. "are you getting tired of the facility? i'd love to show you around the town at the foot of the mountain!" your words are chipper, but there's no sense of truly understanding what he had actually meant in them.

he swears his heart stops for a moment, eye twitching as his mouth hangs open in shock. but he decides to double down, hands resting against your waist as he leans ever-closer.

"no, but i'm awfully tired of you playing coy..." there's a slight rumble to his voice, convinced you were playing hard-to-get. karasu didn't believe that someone could ever be this dense. especially not with how obvious he's made things.

but you just blink at him, lips parting into an 'o'. he feels his heart stop as he realized you really are just that dumb, he would have to literally spell it out for you.

shidou ryusei

ryusei had never been one to falter when chasing the things he wanted. he has never backed down. for the longest time, all he'd desired had been soccer: scoring and winning. but that was until his eyes saw you.

like a predator he found himself observing your every moment, quieter than before. he lingered around you while in blue lock, as if someone would snatch you away.

every goal her scored has pink irises flitting in your directing, a wicked smirk parting his lips when he hears your praises. soccer had never felt so euphoric before.

he begins to crave the feeling, like an addict. ryusei scores goal after goal, getting hits from the little gasps of awe you give him so generously. he finds his cheeks flushed hot pink, eyes nearly rolling back into his head.

it's at that moment he decides he can't stand the thought of ever being without that sensation. so, after practice, only with a few wishes of his failure from rin, he decides to strike.

ryusei finds you easily, as if he was attuned to it. he doesn't introduce himself, just wraps his arms around you from behind, chin propping against your shoulder. "i have never wanted to score anything more than a goal, until you pranced so happily into my life..."

your head tilts back to look at him, a confused look on your face. you show no signs of fluster, expression completely neutral. "thank you?" your voice is perplexed, but still warm.

in that second ryusei realize how much he desires to see your facade crumble. how he wants to see you break and finally realize his intentions. he years to see your face painted in red with wide eyes locked on him: and only him.

and he never loses sight of his goals.

"hey, you should wear this!" ryusei suggested. you turn your head around to see a sunglasses that has a 'happy birthday!' on top of glasses. "It's your birthday today, you should wear that!" ryusei insisted, his voice was loud that other people passing by are now looking at you both.

"no, i won't wear that ryu. it's too embarrassing.." you muttered and returned to your original position, looking for better accessories to wear. "c'mon now babe! it looks good on you!" your boyfriend exclaimed, even the cashier is now looking at you both. "Okay then, let's pick other accessories first, okay?" you agreed, seeing your man grinning like a child now. The accessories picked is now in a basket.

the accessories that shidou ryusei chose was a velociraptor headwear, a chainsawman headwear, the 'happy birthday' glasses, a random glasses, and a sign that said "I'm so inlove with her -> ". Whilst you chose anything that was pleasing to your eye:D

When it was you and your boyfriends turn, the cashier instructed the rules of the photobooth. You chose an accessory that you wanted for the first photoshoot, while ryusei chose the velociraptor headwear. Ryusei clicked 'start' at the screen and a timer started to countdown at the screen. You quickly tried to fix your hair while your boyfriend is just looking at you. When the timer went 1 second, Ryusei swiftly held your shoulder and shoved your body on his chest. The camera captured your late reaction, you looked like you were still processing what he did while your lover smiled at the camera.

"why'd you do that, ryu?" you questioned your pookie and saw that there was a timer again on the screen. you didn't have much time to change your accessory and saw ryusei having the sign in his hand, pointing the sign "I'm so inlove with her ->" beside you with the random glasses he chose. You pose for the camera, and it flashed right after you did.

For the third picture, you chose another accessory while shidou chose to wear the chainsawman headwear and helped you wear the glasses that had a 'happy birthday!' design. you kissed his cheek and the camera flashed, capturing the moment.

For the last picture, you chose an another accessory but didn't remove the glasses. You fixed your clothes and hair while ryusei waited for you to get ready. you guys posed, showing a peace sign but at the last moment, your lover kissed your cheek. The camera flashed, capturing the moment once again.

The screen is now loading, you and your boyfriend is now waiting for the picture to print. "We should do this often more, babe." Ryusei suggested. "Mhm, I love capturing our moments." You lovingly replied to him. You and your lover returned the accessories in the basket and got out of the booth once the pictures had been printed.

The cashier has recieved the basket of the accessories you guys chose. "Y'know, you were really cute in that glasses that had a 'happy birthday' on top!" ryusei complimented you while you're just getting embarrassed as people can overhear your conversation and know that it's your birthday today. Ryusei even sang you happy birthday, embarrassing you even more.

"It's your birthday today?" The cashier finally asked you, you were gonna answer but your man cut you off. "Yeah, It's my beautiful, magnificent, gorgeous, smart, and fantastic lovers birthday today!" He was really glad the cashier asked that. "Do you wanna know the story of how me and my beautiful girl met?" Ryusei asked the cashier. "Baby, let's go. I'm hungry" You told him, hoping to leave the poor cashier alone. " I'll tell the story next time. Well then, See ya!" Your lover told the cashier and left him alone.

And now you guys are walking together looking for restaurants around the mall, and he's staring at the picture that the photobooth had taken. He's now smiling, continuously staring at the picture. He loves you very much.

Before the match, he hears something about a girl being a football player in Blue Lock. This surprised him and made him curious about why would they let a girl in a male team. He didn't think much about it, as he is on his arrogant and egoistic self as usual. When he sees the reader, he falls in love with her. He had never seen such a cute and beautiful girl like her before. During the match, the reader crushes him badly. She takes the ball from him so many times, she outsmarts him very easily and sometimes he doesn't even notice that he doesn't have the ball anymore. From the moment he notices it, the reader will already make a goal. Her football skills impress him so much. He never thought that a girl like her would be good at football, even better than him. He wanted to talk to her. After the match, while Ego lets the players go outside to spend a day, Sae finds the reader. He told her to be his striker and come to Spain with him. Sae thinks that she is the only person who deserves his passes. He wanted her to be his striker and wanted to be her midfielder. But it's not just about football. when the u20 team finally got onto the field, Sae’s sharp teal eyes immediately landed on you.

It’s entirely too warm in your bed, which, you think, shouldn’t be possible given that you always keep the window screens in, even in the dead of winter. You blink your eyes blearily, wincing when the light glow of early morning sunlight reaches you. You squint at the side table; that’s funny, you can’t remember having a mahogany side table. You also don’t remember getting dark blue sheets. Something shifts behind you, and you glance over your shoulder. You don’t remember inviting Shidou into your apartment.

Wait a minute…

You shoot up abruptly, head pounding, and do your best to survey what is definitely not your bedroom. You peek over at Shidou again and dread fills you. Fuck, what the hell did you two do? You venture a very cautious gaze under the sheets and are relieved to find both of you still in your underwear (and upon further inspection, you realize you’re wearing one of Shidou’s old soccer jerseys). It still doesn’t quell the building anxiety within you.

Beside you, Shidou’s hand blindly feels around the sheets before landing on you and, with a surprisingly strong grip for someone who is half-asleep, yanks you back down. He moves to curl around you, burying his face into your neck. You squirm when you swear you feel teeth graze your skin.

“Shidou!” you hiss, smacking his arm. “Wake up!” He mumbles something and his hold only tightens around you, but you feel his smile curl against your neck and you just know this bastard isn’t asleep. “Get up!” He doesn’t move and you resolve to do your best to grab your phone off the side table, hoping there’s something that will jog your memories.

You’re greeted with dozens of texts, missed calls, and social media alerts. You decide to click the most recent notice, a comment from a former classmate you haven’t talked to in years on the most recent Instagram post you don’t remember making.

Your blood runs cold and you stare at the post in horror. There’s a sparkly band around your left ring finger and tagged in the post is none other than the man beside you, Shidou Ryusei. When you look at your hand in front of you — the real flesh and bone one — you see the same ring from the photo. 

“Shidou!”

He finally deigns to sit up, blanket pooling around his waist and you try your best not to take a second glance at his well-toned chest and abdomen. He gives you a smirk, eyeing you, and he says, “You look good in my clothes.”

Your face bursts into flames and you huff, “Not the time, Shidou! Do you remember anything about what happened last night?”

He tilts his head. “Not really. Remember meeting you for drinks—”

Right, you two got drinks after a hard won victory of PXG against Real Madrid. And did shots, a lot of shots. Fuck. Shidou hums as he scoots closer to you, tugging on your (his) jersey and he says, “Wish I could remember more of this.”

You gulp as when he rests his chin on your shoulder, but you don’t pull away. He reaches around you and plucks your cell phone out of your hand, taking a look at the post you have open. You feel his breath hitch and you’re not sure what to expect as he then grabs your left hand and inspects it. He’s way too quiet, which honestly scares you more than when he’s yelling and kicking, but then Shidou grins wide. “Well, well, what do we have here?”

“Shidou…”

“Where do you want the wedding to be? I, personally, am a fan of a beach wedding.”

“Shidou—!”

“Think Underlashes will be my best man?”

“Shidou, focus,” you yelp, ripping your hand from his grip. “We need to fix this!”

“I think you need to fix this,” he says. “That’s what PR agents are for, right?”

This fucking jerk. But he isn’t wrong and you groan, throwing your phone further down the bed and flopping back down, staring at the ceiling. How were you going to maneuver your way out of this one?

“Hey,” Shidou says, laying back down and turning to face you. He uses a surprisingly gentle grip on your jaw to make you look at him. “I think we should keep it. We were going to get together eventually anyways. Just skipped a few steps.”

You glare at him and he just pokes your nose, snickering when you wrinkle it and slap his hand away. What the hell were you going to do? Then, another thought dawns on you: “Shidou, please tell me you bought this ring.”

From the start of trial two Milgram has been telling us every way it can that if something happens around Mahiru this trial she won't be able to handle it. Simultaneously Milgram has gone out of it's way to display to the audience that the person nearest to Mahiru is Yuno. As she is the one to engage with her the most in the timelines during trial two.

Even though Shidou is implied to be taking care of her consistently as well.

We actually see Yuno engaging with Mahiru more over the course of this trial and during the intermission of the first. So, I feel it's important to note the individuals frequently near Mahiru since the story has gone out of it's way to highlight how if something goes wrong near her that's it.

This has been done with Shidou a good deal despite him only talking to her once this trial. That's the same amount of times we've seen Futa and Amane talk to her,

Amane: Happy birthday. Mahiru-san. How is your body feeling?

Mahiru: ……ah, Amane-chan. Thank you. Yeah, I’m fine. Now I can move around if I use a wheelchair…… It’s all thanks to Shidou-san looking after me……

Amane: I’ll give you one warning. The two of you are dabbling in something tabooed. If you continue to go against the way of nature like this, you’ll just bring an early death upon yourself. Think hard about this.

Which is pretty much to just trigger a death flag given his track record when it comes to saving people-

Meanwhile Yuno's proximity to Mahiru has been more than implied. It's been repeatedly shown. Yuno has been engaging with Mahiru since the series began and they've only been implied to have gotten closer. Considering all this emphasis being put on not having anything else happen around Mahiru I think it's reasonable to consider what could happen to those closest to her as well.

This in my opinion includes Yuno since it's been highlighted that she's taken on a pretty understated role when it comes to taking care of Mahiru with Shidou repeatedly.

Huh, hold up... I was doing a reread and I kind of copied this from the transcript without questioning it. But um why the hell does it say affirmed? Is this a translation error? Huh, but it doesn't say that for the rest of the guilty prisoners,

Prisoner No. 8: Amane Momose. Your judgment was “guilty”, and as such, her ideas were rejected.

Prisoner No. 9: Mikoto Kayano. Your judgment was “guilty”, and as such, his ideas were rejected.

This is directly from the transcript.

If it's not an error which it seems rather intentional given everyone else is fine then Mahiru just has this idea that she'll always be rejected that was affirmed by the verdict. Or she doesn't think what she did was wrong and we're the problem. Something that could tie into this line in I Love You,

"It’s ok for everyone else but not for me." - "Tell me, oh tell me why, won’t you just accept me?"

Sorry back on track- Milgram has made it clear that if anything happens near Mahiru that will be the end of her,

Milgram has ultimately put Yuno in a very precarious position.

Where she could very well get attacked or attack someone else. To either up the ante for her third trial or omit her character entirely because her reception has been too positive. As well as find a good source of conflict that would cause stress to Mahiru and exacerbate her existing issues.

Since in the the commencement even though they highlight Mahiru's physical injuries Yuno and Jackalope both highlight her mental health as well. Saying that her dejection is really something and Yuno even commenting that she wasn't suited for Milgram.

Jackalope said she'd be lost not die.

So if she's too mentally gone due to the death or possible betrayal but it seems more leaning towards death of the prisoner closest to her there's really no telling how that will impact the song extraction next trial.

Or if they'll even be able to extract anything in regards to her crime. Especially given we've seen first hand what the mental stress did to her song extraction this round-

Plus they highlight that this trial is all about prisoner relationships near the end of the trial commencement,

He was right, but princess… It just felt a lil too special to you, the kind of nickname you’d want to be used genuinely, not in some fake ass act. “What pet names do you think we'd use if we were actually dating ?” He asked again without even letting you time to answer. “I don't know, ‘baby’ ? He snickered: “That’s too corny. And it sounds weird in your mouth… Doesn’t anything come more naturally ?”. The way he was so chill, like it was just yet another relationship he was gonna get into irritated you more than it hurt you. “Princess sounds right for you, ‘cause look, you're already commanding me like we’re an old couple. You furrowed your eyebrows: “look, honey, we both know you need this more than I do, so lay low and stop GETTING ON MY NERVES” You whined that end part, getting really frustrated at just trying to imagine how this could possibly come out great. You guys finished talking and quickly parted ways, he had a curfew and you still had quite a few things to get done before the end of the day. You had set something straight: tomorrow, you would ‘go public’ by holding hands and ‘accidentally’ getting caught kissing. You secretly wanted to ask him how it worked, but that meant revealing that you had not kissed anyone before and you couldn't handle more humiliation. That night you really struggled to fall asleep, heart pounding, anxious about the upcoming day and all the milestones you were about to break. So the next morning you tried to pretend everything was normal and that you were so detached. 

“I’m not buying it”. That’s literally the first thing Shidou answered to your “hi babe~” you tried to say confidently, so people would hear and also so Shidou would think you’re not shaking at his sight. “It’s okay to be flustered, I tend to have that effect on women”. “More like men. But anyway. Where should we be seen ?” It was so funny to meticulously plan something supposedly candid. “I was thinking the field, you could drop me off and give me a towel, kissing me goodbye.” “That’s way too obvious. We’re supposed to get caught in our secret relationship.” “Ah yeah, you’re right, well I don't know then.” “Then find some ideas ! I don't wanna be the one doing everything !” “Yeah I know you got beauty, not brains.” “Excuse me ?! –the sound level and tension kept growing– Was it deserved ? No ! Was it true ? N–” “–Vivi someone's coming ! Hold my hand, this is our chance !” “No ! I hate you ! You’re so annoy–” You couldn't even finish that Shidou grabbed your hand, pulling closer and kissed your mouth, leaving you breathless. 

Your first kiss, just like that. You couldn't even see who it was that caught you. You were so stunned. An overwhelming amount of sensations triggered an overwhelming amount of emotions. But, they were… so positive. Calm but at the same time excitement, lust maybe, curiosity and lots of bashfulness. When he pulled out of the kiss, you already missed his warm tongue. You finally registered his hand lightly stroking your lower back as you looked away hoping he wouldn't see your vermillion cheeks. Now you knew: it was Isagi, Bachira and Barou who caught you two. Isagi looked extremely uneasy, making you wonder why is HE the one embarrassed here ?! On the other hand, Barou stayed impassive, his face was so neutral you couldn't decipher what he was thinking. He looked low-key disappointed though. But Bachira ? Ooh your ears hurt with how much he screamed and giggled. He made the serious promise to tell all Blue Lock. And you knew he was dead serious. This drama king… 

The second they left you shouted, pink in embarrassment at Shidou: “I HAD SAID NO ! AND WE WE SAID KISS, I MEANT KISS ON THE CHEEK !!” “That was your first right ? I could tell”. He laughed softly looking at you dead in the eye, so attractive you started blushing all over again. It wasn’t mockery or disgust in his eyes, but you couldn't say what. Maybe endearment, wanting to help. “I hate you”. “But I was good, right ?” “I don't know, I'm not sure what it’s supposed to be like”, you rolled your eyes to pretend you didn't love every second of it.

it was a foggy day in spain when sae first set his eyes on you. he had decided to go to a nearby cafe in hopes to pick up a muffin and maybe even a warm tea. as soon as he entered the cafe he was met with your friend’s gasps, followed by excited whispers. he was used to the sound. sae itoshi the famous athlete, walking into a normal cafe. he expects it every time. he’s gotten used to avoiding it, which is exactly what he does this time as well, going up and ordering his muffin and tea. once finished he felt a small tug on his jacket, sighing as he heard the question for an autograph. he spun, ready to give his usual “buzz off” reply, though stopping when he saw the whole table. his breathe caught in his throat as his eyes met your empty ones.

“do you think we can have your autograph?” your friend asked once more, not paying any mind to where his eyes fell. he cleared his throat, thinking quickly on his feet.

“sure,” he answered, obliging in the weird requests for an autograph. he rolled his eyes at the head he was asked to sign. he finally got to you, to which you shook your head.

“i don’t need—,” you started, though immediately stopping once he started writing on a napkin in front of you. your face remained blank as you watched him. his hand covered his writing before sliding it over to you, still concealing his phone number. yes, he gave you his phone number. how could he not? he couldn’t let you slip away so easily. you didn’t get to question it, however, seeing how he had already left with his food and drink.

it was a one-sided meeting. shidou had somehow gotten his phone after a pxg practice and started showing everyone random pictures. you had happened to be in one, being an old classmate of his. rin wasn’t even paying attention to what shidou was showing, his eye just happened to catch onto the picture of you. he, however, did not have an excuse for his staring. unluckily for him, it didn’t go unnoticed by his teammates.

“what’s this? is rin interested in what he sees?” karasu had interrupted his daze with a rough nudge on the shoulder. rin immediately scoffed, throwing a glare to the side—avoiding karasu’s perceptive gaze. though his blush still did show.

“gee, leave him alone karasu. ya don’t want shidou hearing about this,” nanase whispered, throwing a worried gaze karasu’s way.

“want me to know what? whatcha hiding from me, rin-chan?” yeah, he wasn’t going to hear the end of this anytime soon.

it was the year before blue lock when nagi saw you for the first time. you had been a new student, being introduced in front of the class. nagi actually hadn’t looked up at first, too busy with trying to fall asleep. “they’re good-lookin’,” reo’s whisper is what prompted nagi to finally look up at you, eyes immediately widening. reo was right, you certainly were breathtaking. heart stopping even. yeah, he’s internally cringing at himself. that doesn’t stop his heart from skipping a beat. his eyes were locked on you. he noticed your lack of expression at the class greeting—it was a thing that usually embarrassed the new classmate. if anything, that made him more intrigued with you. you seemed quiet, a perfect pair for him. maybe even a perfect shoulder to rest on. yeah, he was gonna try to get your interest…somehow.

you two had met through his sister. she had pulled you to her house to watch a movie with her, she wouldn’t stop talking about it for weeks so you decided to oblige. your arrival, however, came as a surprise for chigiri. he was getting a bottle of tea from the fridge when he heard his sister rushing you in. confused and curious, he turned around, eyes immediately hooking onto your figure.

“oh hey, hyoma. we’re gonna watch a movie so don’t mind us!” his sister sang, not giving you any time to offer a small wave before she dragged you away.

“wait!” her movements paused at chigiri’s panicked yell. he immediately offered an awkward cough, looking away in embarrassment at his sudden outburst. “what movie you watching?” he asked, eyes hesitatingly looking back up. no matter his attempt not to, his eyes met yours.

his sister offered a small hum at the scene in front of her, quickly picking up on her brother’s emotions. “the one i’ve been talking about recently. wanna join?” she offered, giving him an obvious wink. he nodded, letting out a small sigh. he could only hope his sister wasn’t going to give his crush away during the movie.

Anri was in distress. Ever since (Y/n) had turned back to normal, things have gone semi-normal. Sure, she would get teased by Lorenzo and Shidou over her attachment towards Ness, the Blue Lock players would often times be caught glaring at the said German player and Kaiser... well he has been a lot nice towards her. Was it because of him being the reason for her distress while she was a toddler? Anri really didn't know and it wasn't really important. But this morning the same issue happened, just that this time nobody other than Michael Kaiser was the victim! It was a fairly normal morning until Ness barged into Ego's office, showing him the toddler sized Kaiser, who the whole time had a bright red face and was glaring at Ego and Anri. Or attempt to, it just looked like a pout and Anri couldn't help but cry from the cuteness, taking a picture here and there. Meanwhile Ego was already looking for new job applications as Kaiser kept on stuttering nonsense. Later, the coaches were called over and Noel dressed hin in a smaller version of the Bastard uniform. The coaches, Ego and Anri agreed on the latter two taking care of Kaiser for the day and for nobody to tell anyone what had happened. And so, Ness and Noel left Kaiser alone with the two, an arrangement Kaiser wasn't too happy with. While Anri enjoyed the time (Y/n) was a toddler... Kaiser was a different story. He either wouldn't sit still for a minute, would stutter out words which left both adults confused on what he wanted or would protest eating anything from Anri or Ego. The man was forced by Anri to do that. Now, Noel would come in from time to time in order to check up on Kaiser, the boy was always excited to see him. But after the like 4th time, Kaiser stopped being happy and would just pout then hide behind a chair. When Anri finally asked what he wanted, the answer from the toddler surprised both her and Ego.

"(Y/n)!" He answered with a blush as the two adults looked at each other.

"It's a surprise he even remembers her. (Y/n) back then only remembered us and Ness." Anri commented.

"While it is a surprise, (Y/n) has her own duties." Ego shrugged as the boy glared at him, obviously getting the hint his request was rejected.

"(Y/n)! (Y/n)!" Kaiser jumped up and down, but Ego would just shake his head.

"Maybe it would be for the better if we called her over." Anri got up from the ground to look at Ego, Kaiser perked up at that and nodded his head.

"No." Ego said again, causing the blonde to growl.

The room seemed to have calmed down and Kaiser kept on looking at the door from time to time. Soon he saw an exit chance in the form of Lavinho walking into the room and not closing the door fast enough, and Kaiser used the opportunity to run out.

"(Y/N)!" He shouted as Anri and Lavinho panicked.

"I need a change in my career path." Ego groaned as Anri and Lavinho left the room.

"Eh..." (Y/n) sweat dropped as Lorenzo barked for lime the 10th time this morning and looked at the Italian coach.

"Don't go inside! A monster is there!" Anri and Lavinho's shouts stopped the whole practice and caused Snuffy to tense up a little.

"Ehhh?!" (Y/n)'s shrieked as Snuffy facepalmed. Kaiser looked around the room and grinned as he saw (Y/n), then ran towards her before Lavinho caught him.

"(Y/n)!!" The toddler yelled and hugged the girl's legs. This caught Baro, Niko and Aryu's attention and they walked towards the duo, and Lorenzo followed close behind.

"Kaiser?" (Y/n)'s eyes widened as the boy looked up, face red and smiling up at her.

"So, you guys couldn't keep him at bay?" Snuffy teased the two adults, who glared at him.

"What is going on here?" Baro raised an eyebrow.

"Didn't you guys say Kaiser was sick?" Niko added in as he observed the blonde.

"Is this the same issue (Y/n) was in?" Aryu asked Anri, whole slowly started explaining the situation.

"Up... up!"Kaiser said as he stretched his arms out and (Y/n) went along, finding it hard to say 'no' to a toddler version of Kaiser. The boy sighed in content and buried his face in her neck.

"So does that mean Kaiser is now useless on the field?" Lorenzo spoke up as he observed the blonde child. Kaiser, at those words looked up and glared at Lorenzo, who laughed at his expression.

"Awww~ not so intimidating now?"

(Y/n) watched as Kaiser's glare softened and it looked like he was about to cry.

"Please Lorenzo, shut up and go to training." She spoke up sternly and looked back at Kaiser, speaking in a much softer voice.

"Don't listen to that grumpy man, you are still the best. Yes you are~" The blonde's expression turned into a happy one and he hugged the girl again.

"I am not grumpy!" Lorenzo protested.

"(Y/n)!" The girl sighed as Kaiser hugged her leg again while she wrote something down. She looked down at the boy, who sent her a big smile, and all the annoyance seemed to disappear from her face.

"What did you need, Kaiser? I thought you had fun playing with the football we gave you?" The girl asked and patted the boy's head. Kaiser blushed and grabbed her hand before she could remove it.

"Up!" He said.

"I can't now, Kaiser. I need to write this down for Noel-san."

"No! Up!" Kaiser grumbled, not wanting to share (Y/n)'s attention with some papers.

"Up~" He said again.

"How about this, you let me finish this and for the rest of the day we can play together. I will be done in about 20 minutes." Kaiser pouted at the idea of having to wait, but if he can have (Y/n) for the rest of the day, then it was fine. The girl watched as the boy sat down on the grass and held onto the fabric of her pants.

'He is so cute as a baby! How did he turn out so... so Kaiser-like?' She thought.

"Kaiser is acting like a duckling! He keeps following (Y/n) around, it's unbearable at this point!" The said boy looked over at Shidou who was laughing about the situation with Rin.

"(Y/n)!" The boy shouted, burying his face into her leg as she looked down at him and then at the duo.

"Shidou! Rin! You two are behind in practice! Get back to it, or else I will have to call Loki-san!" (Y/n) told them and the two tensed up at her words.

Kaiser chuckled a little stuck his tongue out while (Y/n) wasn't paying attention to him.

'That little bastard!'Rin and Shidou thought as they went back to training.

Isagi and Ness felt an urge to pick Kaiser up and throw him somewhere. Right now, the boy was enjoying his time sitting in (Y/n)'s lap as she fed him some food Anri prepared.

'That dipshit is being too comfortable right now.' Isagi thought as he ate his food.

'So this is what it feels like to be in Kaiser's shoes? Would hate being him on a regular day.' Ness put on his usual smile and offered to feed Kaiser while she ate her own lunch.

"Nooo!" Kaiser protested, grabbing tightly on (Y/n)'s shirt. The girl shook her head at the offer and gave Kaiser another spoonful of his food.

"No need! I am not that hungry, anyways." (Y/n) said calmly as Isagi eyed the blonde boy suspiciously.

"It's so weird seeing you act so nice to him." The girl shrugged her shoulders and looked down at the boy.

"I guess I have a soft spot for baby Kaiser." She simply answered, kissing the boy's forehead. Kaiser's face turned a bright pink as the pther two were close to kicking him, but held themselves back to not upset (Y/n).

The next day everything was normal again, Kaiser woke up in his normal body and when he entered the field, was greeted by teasings and jokes from his fellow pro-players.

"Hahaha! You should have seen yourself, Kaiser! Crying at everything and anything." Shidou said while nudging the annoyed German.

"Oh man! I wish I could have seen it in real time, instead of a video. I'll blame Snuffy for the schedule." Oliver pouted.

"There is a video?!" Kaiser asked in disbelief as Sae nodded his head. The latter was still jet legged from his flight, but still had enough energy to let out a chuckle.

"Nagi took one yesterday. It's very popular in the gc." Ness laughed a little and moved away, avoiding Kaiser's slap.

"Shut up..." The blonde glared, then remembered a specific moment tat happened yesterday.

"Does Nagi have a picture of (Y/n) playing and kissing my forehead?" Now this caught the rest's attention.

"What do you mean by that?" Oliver asked in disbelief.

"Well, (Y/n) was pretty much pampering me yesterday with kisses, hugs and feeding me. Even my baby form is more love day her than all 4 of you combined."

"I should kick you back to Germany." Sae commented as Shidou nodded his head.

'Sleep with one eye open, Kaiser.' Ness thought in annoyance, hating the fact that he was right.

Milgram characters cutting the Rosca de Reyes (headcanons)

So, before the headcanons a quick rundown on what is Rosca de Reyes and Día de Reyes

Día de Reyes, technically, is the day of Epiphany, or when the Three Wise Men arrived to baby Jesus to give him the gifts. It's celebrated on January 6th. (but at least where i live we don't pay that much attention to its religious connotations)

It is a tradition that came from Spain to other Hispanic countries (Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay) and in some places it's a bigger celebration than Christmas because this is where the children get their toys!

There are some cute traditions like leaving out water and grass for the animals the wise men came in, or children leaving their boots to get gifts or candy in them. All that depends on the country and the zone.

There is also the tradition of cutting the Rosca de Reyes, which is a colorful ring of bread (left picture below) with a sugary cover and dried fruit glassed with sugar. It comes with little figures of baby Jesus inside the bread (the white doll on the right picture), and the tradition (in Mexico at least) says that who ever gets it has to cook Tamales for the Día de la Candelaria, on February 2nd. We eat the rosca with hot chocolate.

Now the headcanons!!

This are based on the experiences I've had with family and friends, just silly stuff <3

Haruka. When he looks at the rosca he feels happy and excited, of getting to try something new. He only wants to eat the white part and refuses to even try the colorful dried fruits, tho. Seeing him so excited, Shidou suggests on letting him cut the first piece, reluctantly he accepts. He apparently doesnt get the baby, but when he takes a small bite of his piece, there it is, its head peaking through the bread. He panics slightly but feels happy for the surprise of the little toy. First finishes the bread and afterwards drinks the hot chocolate.

Yuno. Doesnt want to get one of the baby figures, but wont care much if she does, she doesnt wanna go through the trouble of getting/making the tamales. Seeing most are getting the white part, she gets from the colorful one with just a bit of the white. She doesnt get a baby and she eats her slice dunking it in the hot chocolate (she enjoys the warmth <3).

Muu. She doesnt care if she gets the baby or not, shes just super happy she gets to eat something sweet and delicious, and hot chocolate? she gets even happier that she gets more to enjoy! she gets a bigger slice than the others, including white part and colorful part. As she is happily eating, she bites down on the baby figure and after cleaning it, she gifts it to Haruka, who is just happy to have two little figures.

Fuuta. The moment he hears he has to bring tamales if he gets one of the babies, he is determined to not get it. As he cuts his slice he quite literally sees the baby poking his feet through the bread, pretends not to notice and continues grabbing his piece. He hides the baby figure on his mouth, determined to swallow it if necessary. Kotoko calls him out when he nearly chokes and he ends up admitting to it and taking the figure out of his mouth, not without yelling "IM NOT COOKING FOR ANYBODY". Actually enjoys the bread afterwards, he also only took from the white part.

Shidou. He is probably the one walking in and out of the kitchen with Es, giving everyone their cup of hot chocolate. He insist a bit to Amane to take a cup too, but when he sees her about to spill the hot chocolate on him, he backs down. He kinda wishes to get one of the figures, but doesnt have his hopes up. He gets a slice of the colorful part.

Amane. Really wants to participate, but is conflicted because of her dietary restrictions. This all is too much of a temptation and she hates it. When she hears the dried fruits are glassed with sugar she starts to debate herself if shes allowed to eat them or not, once more reaching the conclusion that is too much sugar :c Mahiru manages to convince her to at least cut a slice to help her have another chance to get one of the babies, but doesnt get any. She gives her piece to Mahiru since she was who made her do it. She drinks a cup of hot milk to ease herself.

Mahiru. The moment she heard there were baby figures inside the bread. She. Wants. One. It will bring good luck, right? Its a baby, maybe it means one day she will have a baby too! She is determined to get one, and gets at least 3 slices of different parts of the rosca, but always comes back empty handed. Looks at Haruka's two figures with longing and he feels guilty and offers her one, keeping the one Muu gave him. She gives Haruka the slice Amane gave her as an thank you for the baby, and he gives it to Muu.

Kazui. He thinks getting one of the figures would be too much of a hassle, hopes he doesnt get any. He gets a piece from the colorful part with no baby (yay). (cant think much for him sorry).

Mikoto. Just like Mahiru, He. Wants. A. Baby. Figurine. But unlike her, he doesnt get any. After everyone has cut their slice, he cuts the rosca in smaller portions "to store" the leftovers, in reality he was searching for one of the baby figures, but he didnt find any.

Kotoko. She doesnt want one of the baby figures, but doesnt care much about anything of this either, shes just there and was dragged into it. She waits to be the last and gets whatever slice is already cut, has a bit of the two sections, white and colorful. Silently eats her slice and enjoys it more than she wants to admit to, she'll never say it out loud, tho.

Es. Doesnt care much and is just doing this thinking itll help them understand the prisoners more. After everyone has their hot chocolate, sits down and pokes fun at Fuuta for almost choking with the figure. Later at night, they go to the kitchen and take a slice of the leftovers, when they sink their teeth into the bread, they bite down on the last of the baby figures. They just stare at it, making a silent judgement of the thing that could've almost chocked them to death, and afterwards puts it in their pocket, fleeing the scene.

So I thought it'd be silly and detract from this post to talk about fandom underneath it But I've been looking for a way to talk about this and I think this is as good a start as any.

I keep seeing a lot of people confused as to why Kazui, assuming he is a gay/aro/other closet LGBT man would want to 'decieve' Hinako by lying to her about being in romantic love with her and marrying her

It makes sense, if you're young and from the right area, you might not know a lot of history, its certainly not taught in schools. For example, to many people 'gay panic' is a cute trope, wherein a person struggles with their newly discovered identity and not a legal defence people used to excuse the beating and murder of gay people

Kazui is 39 years old. He would've turned 40 in August 2020, meaning he was born in 1980

When the comic above about Bert and Ernie getting a civil union (not even marraige yet) was made in 2003, he would've been 23.

By the time gay marraige was legalised in the US, it was 2015, Kazui would've been 35 (and despite Kazui being Japanese, because other countries like to copy America, the US legalising gay marraige was absolutely celebrated by LGBT people worldwide)

(here's a section of Our Dreams At Dusk a manga that began publication months before the legalisation of gay marraige in the US showing just two states legalising gay marraige as being news worthy to LGBT people in Japan) The first Asian country to legalise gay marraige was Taiwan in 2019 Japan is expected to be the second... but they're taking their time

Gender identity and sexual orientation are also not nationally protected civil rights, meaning protection from discrimination depends on the prefecture you live in.

And this is without getting into darker subjects like higher self harm/suicide rates or violent crimes against LGBT people

I don't want to be doom and gloom, many people are becoming more aware and accepting of LGBT people. But Kazui had every reason to wish to remain closeted

For all people talk about a 'divorce stigma' I believe it is silly to have expected a gay man in the 2000's, when many people even in the states thought gay marraige was unattainable in their lifetime, to have considered that when he got married to someone in an attempt to conform to society Especially because most difficulty to remarry after divorce comes from views surrounding custody laws and adoption. A lot of people don't want to get in a relationship with someone who already has children since they don't view them as their own on account of being blood related. This is probably why Fuuta's mother left Fuuta and his sister with their father. It's very notable that Milgram lampshades how by Kazui's age he was 'expected' to have children but didn't. We don't know Hinako's opinion on having children, but its possible Kazui intentionally didn't have any with her for this reason (despite feeling melancholy he could've had a child Muu's age by now)

Shidou had children (the eldest of which he likely sired while still being in medical school), Mahiru was still in university and thinking about planning a family, Amane notes that her mother gave birth to her when she was Mahiru's age. (TLs from Rochisama)

These aren't malicious feelings imo. This is Kazui noticing a coworker he likes is romantically interested in him and taking a chance on her in the hopes that playing a role as a straight man will make him into one. (unfortunately the suit doesn't fit) There is a Japanese saying of 出る杭は打たれる 'the nail that sticks out gets hammered in' suggesting it is better to not stand out (interestingly, the below lyric is the same in Japanese and English but in French its more like 'I can't take it anymore, I'm different')

It's also worth noting that gay people getting into heterosexual relationships even outside of Japan, used to be Extremely Common. Like my mother has a co-worker who did it

In addition, Yokohama is one of the more expensive places to live in Japan. Mixed with his expensive looking wedding and the traditonal dress of the family at his wedding. It's very likely he comes from a wealthy (conservative) background which would contribute to pressures

I'm rambling a little, i'm quite tired. But I don't want people to think this means they Have to vote Kazui innocent. I don't know your theories. Maybe you think he's straight or sexuality is entirely irrelavent to his crime or you think he's gay but you just want to vote him guilty for some other reason. Any reason is allowed (although non-milgram fans trying to use him as a luck shrine has to be pretty weird)

I just think that when you judge Kazui as a gay man who 'lied' to a straight woman, you need to look at the context it happened in and the many real people who still exist in marraiges like that. Beware whomst you call deceptive or manipulative in a world were heterosexuals feel entitled to your immediate coming out.
