abt the trans stuff : it took me (<- collective "me") ages to realize i was trans, i started questioning in like 7th+8th grade cuz of dysphoria mostly and realizing it was a lot like what the trans ppl in my phone talked abt, and then spent like a year switching pronouns and names and stuff online like. all the time. i really came to terms with it in like 8th grade in a home depot with my dad i remember just being like. oh FUCK im a guy. and walking into a shelf immediately after.

but yeah basically i tested a LOT of names/pronouns online and used a lot of those like. blogs for testing names/prns? idk what theyre called but there were a lot of them in 2017 and u could send asks w facts abt urself and the name/prns u'd like to try and ppl would try them. also writing stuff abt myself in third person and using different pronouns to see what feltmost natural

for me i think it was mostly about like. realizing how much more comfortable for me it was to dress more masc and use he/him and stuff. and also art was really helpful like i would draw out how i wanted to look as an adult "if i was transmasc" vs how i wanted to look if i was cis and i always liked the first one better fkjff.

idk if any of that helps at all? but yeagh tldr just trying things out and changing names sometimes like multiple times a week. just doing whatever felt best at the time and trying not to worry abt if id still "want to be trans" in a couple years yknow? just taking it one day at a time and also projecting onto fictional characters and writing gay t4t fanficiton about them of course fvjkdfs

like just an hour ago i had a realization that i could be trans in a girl way. i don’t like she/her pronouns but they/he feels right. i’ve wanted to test the name spen like as in spencer but just spen. i like feminine things but in a more nonbinary way. i don’t like the idea of being transfem in a nonbinary but being trans in a literal girl way feels right. but i also don’t want to transition like at all. i want to keep my body the same, i don’t want feminine part for myself. being in an afab body gets that release for me because it’s not my body but i can use it and still have my own. if that makes any goddamn sense?

i’ve not questioned my gender for that long, but all the things i like and want and see and feel make sense to be pointed at being trans in a girl or feminine way. and that’s so confusing and scary to me. so scary. it’s hard to face and say “i’m a girl but i use they/he pronouns and i don’t want to do any bodily transitioning”. how do you combat that fear? how do you come to terms with that inside yourself? how do you say to someone and explain how you’re a girl in a weird messed up confusing and beyond traditional woman way?

this is a lot, i’m sorry. i’m just goddamn confused! and scared!

I don’t think blue is done figuring herself and her magic out. Gwenllian implies that she’s like Gwen and can learn to be psychic, but I think her other claim “we are witches” is more accurate. Maura says sadly she is not a witch, implying psychics and witches have a connection, but I’ve always thought witches had more in common with druids than wizards and thus nature magic. I think blue should be able to do more with her mirror magic, perhaps bend other peoples magic like a mirror reflects light to suit her own needs, bend the magic of a leyline, and I high key hope that one day Maggie takes some time to finish blue’s arc of finding her place in the world, especially now she’s out of 300 fox way. I think there’s so much more to explore with her magic - she’s the daughter of a psychic and a literal tree(light)! There’s no reason she should not be on par with gwenllian, and Artemis was ALSO a magician! She should be able to do more even than Gwen! And I don’t fully believe her arc was complete in trc either.

I love this!!! You are so right that there’s so much unexplored with Blue. I love trc how it is but a small part of my heart cries out “it was supposed to be about Blue!!”—from the start it seemed like it was going to be about Blue being the main protagonist and having a wild summer of love and magic and it ended up with four and a half protagonist all dealing with their own things and becoming friends and going on an epic quest in their spare time. A part of me is still waiting for that journey for Blue and I really hope that Maggie returns one day (idc if it’s ten years from now, I’ll wait forever) to write her story.

hi! haha it's fine, just that it's been a long time so i'm kinda fuzzy on details now.  this is my impression based on what i remember. just a lil disclaimer in case anyone else is reading :)

soooo idk how the fandom interprets GoL, but i have a feeling that i myself said something years ago along the lines of “GoL confirmed it as romantic”? well, imma retract that bc i wanna update it with a bit more nuance.

i think the point of those scenes in GoL was to debunk the idea that it was romantic. see: sing's response to akira below.

i don’t remember how the english loc went like and my books are in a box somewhere, so please bear with my quick & dirty t/l lol:

just so you know, there was nothing sexual between them at all. maybe what they felt was similar to (romantic) love, but it’s just... they were connected at the deepest part of the soul.

sing says that they were “more than lovers” but immediately clarifies with a whole lotta that. it’s obviously a denial to me, because if it was romantic, yoshida would have had sing affirm it outright instead of beating around the bush with “similar to”.

BUT that roundabout description does show that what she wanted was a borderline romantic vibe. note that GoL actually does start out framing ash/eiji as a romantic thing (”this is pretty much a love letter”/eiji being unable to move on/akira's assumption that ash was a woman based on the hints she picked up/etc), only to culminate in the sing+akira exchange where the “truth” comes out: an explicit “it wasn’t sexual”, a qualifying “but maybe it resembled romantic love", an unspoken “so the only category left is platonic even tho it’s kinda more than that” and a final emphasis on the most important thing ⁠— the depth of their bond superseding its nature.

this suggests to me that what yoshida wanted to convey was the intensity of devotion that’s typical between people with romantic feelings for each other, but without sexual desire. so ash/eiji’s feelings would not have been intended to be “romantic” in the traditional sense bc they lack what is generally considered a key component of “romantic love”. (also ash is straight to her lol).

that said, the portrayal of their relationship as a “quasi-romance“ with all its romantic aspects did not end up in the story by accident. that was definitely intentional. she knew what it looked like. that’s why she had to clarify its actual substance... the same way she had to point out that ash is legit dead bc ppl did not get it lol.

But I do think differences exist between the 2 tho. Ris would be a little less putty in hands for perse!s/o’, but he would still be soft for them, just in his own Ris way. Ris would also be a lot less indecisive? So, the mess between hades & minthe & perse might play out a liiiiiiitle differently. Like Ris wouldn’t wanna lead u on while he’s still in the fuck shit thing with minthe. How does this even work...

Okay, so I’ve been on tumblr since before the first time they very slightly changed the shade of blue and I hope that in and of itself is enough to help y’all know... I’m ancient. (I’m 27, and will only rp with ppl 18+, sorry friendos)

Somehow, despite being on tumblr and despite having made about a million accounts for various things in my day, I’ve not made an RP account, and don’t really know how to get started. I guess I’m just gonna put down what I know about myself and what I’m looking for here and hope for the best, but I’d be open to any kind of protips from those of you who have been using tumblr to find rp for much longer.

RIP to your eyes ahead of time, this is a long post. If you want to skip to the part where I share my Original plots, pairings, and fandom cravings, please just scroll to the end and accept my humble apologies. (Highkey I copied this out of my google doc, don’t shoot me.)

I enjoy writing both original plots and fandom stuff. When RPing within a fandom setting, I'm open to playing as canons, as ocs, or any combination of both. I'm open to co-creating settings inspired but not based in fandoms, and open to playing AU or canon settings as well. When originals are involved, I prefer co-creating our worlds together, so we're both invested in the landscape that our characters inhabit. Speaking of characters- I'll play as any gender and in any pairing type- I hope that this is the same for you. I love writing a broad spectrum of characters to keep things interesting for myself and to practice viewing the world through different perspectives. I feel it's difficult to do this when being forced or pigeonholed into writing as a gender you DEMAND of me. However... I can be flexible, and if your ideas are interesting enough, I may just give you what you ask for anyways, haha. I'm perfectly open to playing multiple characters, whether it's a broad interactive cast of mains and background characters, a system of noninteracting or separate sets of doubles, triples, you name it, or whatever other configuration of multiple-character-playing you prefer.

I'm not too terribly concerned about post lengths and am open to writing with people who might be new to the RP scene. I'm pretty flexible about how much I'll write. A good rule of thumb for myself is that I tend to respond with more when I have more to work with. That doesn't always mean that there are more words on your post for me to respond to; instead, I mean that if your post has enough ideas, inspiration, and momentum, I can go buckwild with my posts. My comfort zone seems to be around 4-6 paragraphs per post, but I've been known to write either a lot more in particularly thrilling rps. If I'm writing a huge post- don't feel daunted or expected to match length. I love all sized posts!!! I'm just overly enthusiastic and get carried away sometimes. (This means you can also at any time tell me to chill out on how much I'm writing. ) When it comes to writing style, I only have a few hard expectations of you- I do not engage in roleplay featuring the 'would' style of writing. (For example: "She would pick up the rock and inspect it closely.") I don't exactly know why I dislike this tense so much, but it pulls me right out of the immersion of writing/reading and tends to entirely destroy my interest in the story. I'm sorry. Next, I care at least a little about punctuation and spellchecking. If you're roleplaying online, you have access to ways to make sure that you're not just submitting gibberish. If you need help finding those resources... feel free to ask!

I'm open to the idea of making profiles for our characters, but I'm okay without making them too. I'm also vaguely ambivalent to 'beautifying' our posts, should we do them somewhere that allows that sort of thing. I'm fine with any style of reference images, or with not using them at all. I can't promise I won't send you songs and images and memes that remind me of our story, though! Also- I'm super down for dice systems if we decide to go that route (and prefer dice systems if we include combat of any variety in our story.) I love romance, but it doesn't necessarily have to be the drive of our plot if that's not your style. My favorite genres to write in are science fiction, any variety of fantasy, horror, drama, historical settings, wild western settings, and mysteries.

Last but not least, I tend to like making friends with my writing partners. I prefer writing with people I actually get along with, so for me, the plotting phase is the most important. It helps me get to know your personality a bit more, and you mine, so we both know whether or not it's a good match to write long term! I'll write on most platforms, so let's discuss what makes the most sense for us. Finally, I generally only write with folks 18+, for the safety of everyone involved. Thanks for understanding.

- There's something dire down in the mines to the east of this old Western town. Folks keep goin' in to investigate, disappearin' for days at a time, then comin' back all different-like with the lights gone from their eyes. What could be happenin' out there, sheriff? (horror/western)

- A high-fantasy world's balance is shattered when the source of magic is destroyed. How will the people of this mystical land navigate a now mundane life, and how can they survive when so many magical devices go defunct and awry?

- A no-magic world is suddenly spun into chaos: an apocalyptic event leads to the sudden introduction of magic into a world that had previously never known it. In the post-apocalyptic (and mystically-charged) ashes of a world that once was, how do the survivors compete for resources and control?

- A star falls from the sky! They're rare, and it's dangerous to be one. Are you the star, hunted and lost? Or are you someone who finds a star?

I am pretty active, i used to be super into sports in high school but now i’m not really, I used to swim competitively for like 8 years, and I also was part of a rowing team for a couple years, and I really loved it, trying to get back into it but i’m way too out of shape rn lmao. I also love baseball, watching it and playing it (but mostly i just watch) (go giants). my grades have always been…. Super average. Surprisingly, yet also not surprisingly, it was pretty easy to figure out a match up for you. :3 Sorry it took so long! I’ve had some internet issues, so hopefully, this was worth the wait!

Midoriya!

You two likely met when Midoriya at a local gym. He probably noticed you when you first started visiting because of some work out apparel you were wearing that was <favorite hero> themed, but was probably too nervous to really go out on a limb and introduce himself. Eventually, you asked him if he could spot you while you doing maxes, and got to know each other a little better before he asked if you’d like to go out for lunch/coffee/etc.

The first date turned out to be less awkward as expected, and you both managed to learn quite a bit about each other. He asked about your hobbies and you two (of course) had many things in common. There happened to be a superhero movie coming out, which led to another meeting (*cough*date*cough*) being planned.

Now, it definitely took some time before he realized he had feelings for you; you two had worked out together, gone on several hikes, runs, and casual strolls, and you had geeked out over your favorite mangaka and movies, yet it took him a good couple months to realize that you two clicked well. Like, really well.

Once he finally asks you out, he’ll probably have planned out everything from the brand of shoes he wore and the organization of the silverware at the restaurant he’d take you to. He’d probably keep it simple from an outsider’s perspective, but every single detail would be meaningful so you’d be impressed. Good ol’ Midoriya making sure you know you’re cared about.

You two would regularly bond over the fact you were once somewhat ostracized from others around you, and try to volunteer and help others despite Midoriya’s hero work. If you see a little kid being bullied while out on a walk, you both step in and try to teach the kids a moral lesson about treating others kindly.

Both you and Midoriya tend to geek out over series you two end up watching on Netflix and such, knowing each easter egg, reference, and the character’s actors, and you both end up testing each other’s knowledge teasingly every once in a while.

Midoriya didn’t really have this sort of tradition in his family, but you end up planning a day of the week for you to either visit his mom or your family on a weekend day for a family dinner. Midoriya never really had big family dinners or anything, but he finds out he loves spending time with people that remind him of you. Plus, he gets to know and learn to value the people that are the most important to you.

While Midoriya was a bit of a nerdy guy, he had never actually watched a Korean drama. It wasn’t like he was opposed to the idea, but he had been so consumed by studying heroes that it never really crossed his mind. But once you came into his life and introduced some of his favorites to him? He was hooked and it was adorable how he’d cry when the simple shop owner would win the heart of the girl love interest rather than the fancy CEO. :>

He is genuinely impressed when you tell him some obscure fact about something, like how most toilets flush in Eb or how all the swans in England belong to the Queen. Despite him have several notebooks full of hero facts, he still is baffled that you took the time to learn all these crazy little details about the world. It’s also fun for the two of you to take some time to simply exchange things you know while bundled up in blankets on the couch and vegging out on snacks.

These were fun and easy to write, please request again! ^^ I didn’t write as many headcanons as I normally do, so I made them longer to make up for it. Hope you like these!

BIG NEWS

I have not been online for 2 months and I am so sorry. I was very busy with my exams (if I had failed them, my school would have kicked me out...) and I started working and yeah... I am so fucking busy at the moment, I don’t even have time for my friends and my hobbies.  But I missed this blog and my amazing followers and cute anons and the friends I have found on this and thanks to this blog.  But there is also a thing I realized: I am not happy with this blog anymore. Don’t worry, I won’t leave it and I won’t delete it but... I want to change it. This used to be a blog about grammar stuff and also about fun stuff... but most people followed me because I helped (or tried to help them) with grammar things. 

And to be honest, I fucking hate grammar and explaining it by now... This has nothing to do with my followers or with this blog; 2 things happened it my life and they ruined German grammar for me. And I don’t wanna do things I hate. This blog should be a fun place - not only for you, but also for me. 

I will of course reblog grammar stuff that I see on my dash and it’s not that you can’t ask me stuff anymore. I am just not here to explain things that you could google or read in a book. If there is a grammar thing you just don’t get, you can of course ask me - but not on anon. It’s not that I don’t wanna help with grammar, but so many people ask me things they could google! I mean it takes me 2 minutes to find a link or a great example and sorry not sorry, you can do this yourself. I am not your teacher and I am not your grammar book. But if there is something you just don’t get, feel free to ask me. I want to make more vocab lists because I enjoy making them. I hope I will soon find time to make them. I won’t cut them off, they’re cool to make and they are useful.  I will also continue posting music, movie recommendations, German trash stuff, funny things, etc. This is what makes me happy and this is what makes me like this blog and posting on this blog.  I also wanna do more of “Topic of the day/week” because you seemed to like it and so do I. 

And another thing: This blog is not only about German stuff, it’s also about Swiss things - and about Austrian stuff! Sadly, I don’t know much about Austria... and I had a good (?) idea: If there is a German/Swiss/Austrian topic/singer/movie/tradition that you want this community to know about, you can make your own post and send me the link! I will reblog it. I’d be happy if some of you guys would do this (not only Austrian ppl of course, but also Austrian ppl because we need to see more Austrian stuff on our dash!)

Another thing: I don’t wanna discuss politics & that kind of stuff on this blog - because I am surrounded by these topics all day long and I don’t want tumblr to feel like my work place... I’m not saying I’ll never talk about politics but I just don’t want half of my asks to be about politics, sorry not sorry. Also I am not here to discuss my political opinions with you. 

You are more than welcome to ask me stuff, to suggest things, to participate in things, to be curious, etc. I love my followers and I want to be in contact with you! 

So, that’s it. I might lose followers but I don’t care. I prefer having a small community who likes what I post instead of lots of ppl who complain all the time.

a/n sorry this took so long, I have so many request right now and i'm like mentally sinking under pressure. I hope this is okay anon!

Eddie always came along to Richie’s shows. It was a tradition, even both they started dating. Eddie would face his fear of the germs to come and listen to his boyfriends loudly obnoxious band play covers of songs he’s never heard, in favour of watching Richie get hot and sweaty as he periodically exhorted his energy banging on his drums.

 Richie on the other hand would come to the pep rally every Friday night to support Eddie’s appearance, regardless of his hatred for most of human kind nothing could rival seeing your boyfriend in tight pastel pink booty shorts. 

Eddie usually sat backstage at Richie’s shows, this was usually due to Richie not wanting Eddie to panic and cause an asthma attack from stressing over anybody out on the floor.

But today was different.

Eddie claimed that sitting behind the curtains just wasn’t good enough for tonight, therefore he just had to stand dead centre stage to watch his lover perform. Richie was hesitant because he didn’t want to see the fragile boy get hurt. He knew how rough the floor could get scattered with intoxicated youths and Richie knew it was no place for a five foot four, skinny, pale, flower crown wearing teenage boy. But Eddie had insisted that, that there wasn't any other place he going to be regardless of Richie’s protests.

Richie had placed himself behind the drums, twirling the drum sticks that loosely rest in his hands. As he scanned he crowd, it was a pretty good turn out tonight. A small non-existent smile made it's way onto his lips at the idea of people actually appreciating him for his talents, a wave of relief fled through his body, maybe he could actually get somewhere in life. Soon the idea of the masses of people seemed to have changed his opinion.

He scanned the crowd looking for Eddie's figure, even if he wasn't dating him, the poor boy he stuck out like a saw thumb among the copious amount of dark clothes that stood on the floor, covering the space with an aura the Richie was all too comfortable with.

 Blinking behind his glasses, he narrowed his gaze slightly to this side of the stage where he found Eddie standing leaning slightly against a tall bar table. Richie noted that Eddie had found someone to talk to, and that in itself made Richie smile. Knowing that Eddie was comfortable in one of the only other places Richie was. Richie must have been staring at the pale boy for a bit longer than he thought because the only thing that broke him from his gaze was the fact it was getting harder and harder to see him. The stage lights had begun to dim and the loud strum of the bass guitar echoed the dark room.

 Richie straightened his back and placed his drum sticks in their selected hands, starring out at the audience and seeing only the faint outlines of human bodies.

 The coloured stage lights were suddenly turned on, and Richie heard the loud cheer from their small crowd. He heard their lead singer speak into the microphone probably asking the basic and stereotypical 'hey, how's everyone was doing tonight,' but Richie paid little no attention as he looked back over at the space Eddie was currently occupying.

His mouth dropping a gape as he watched the boy laugh at something the delinquent had said. Richie whole opinion on the other male had changed as fast as a drop of a pin.

Eddie's back was turned to the stage and his full attention was focused on a complete and utter stranger. He faintly heard the beginning of song start and he subconsciously hit drums the way he had been practicing for the past weeks but his gaze still pierced the back of Eddie's head wondering what was just so interesting that he couldn't even face the direction of his actual boyfriend and pretend like he was enjoying the music even though Richie knew otherwise.

Richie narrowed his eyes as he watched a hand creep up the sleeve of Eddie's jacket. Eddie obviously didn't feel the need to brush him away. One of the only faults that Eddie Kaspbrak will ever exhibit is the inability to be able to recognise that literally everyone wanted a piece of him. Richie wasn't even going to hide the fact he was jealous. He gave that up long ago.

Eddie was his, and only his. It wasn't that he didn't trust Eddie, he just didn't trust anyone else around him. The boy was small, cute and docile, meaning he would be just as easy a target as it would be to steal a puppy from a shelter. Eddie trusted everyone, and Richie was the complete opposite.

The band played a few more songs before they were able to take a break. As soon as the stage lights turned off and the floor was lit, Richie rushed down onto the hard concrete despite the protest from his lead singer about their need to recuperate behind stage.

Richie's long limbs were seen jumping from the side stage and striding five short steps in Eddie' direction. Once arriving the older boy sat  his head onto of the younger and his arm sliding around Eddie's waist. Eddie flinched away from his touch and Richie tried not to let his disappointment show. Glancing to the right he saw the denim jacket wearing loser that was trying to steal his boyfriend, sipping on a drink that was clearing not cherry cola. He glared at the side of the strangers face as he brought the glass cup to his lips.

Eddie turned his head to meet the hard face of Richie Tozier. Body immediately relaxing under his touch. "Hey babe." Eddie said, a comical expression plastered itself on his face as he observed Richie's stoic look. Turning slightly to kiss the taller boys cheek. Richie tore his glare from the other the boy and focused his gaze on Eddie. "It's been a good show so far." Richie scoffed.

"Yeah, like you would fucking know." Richie said, sound muffled by Eddie's dark brown curls. "Watcha doing with this guy." He gestured across the table to where the guy now stood starring across at the pair.

The unknown guy reached his arm across the table holding out his hand. "Hi I'm-" "I wasn't talking to you." Eddie pushed back against Richie's chest and moved from out of the taller boys grasp.

"Richie that wasn't very nice." Eddie's eye widened in surprise at the blatant bluntness coming out of Richie's mouth.

Richie's eyes widen, "Can you not see that he's trying to get with you!" Richie gestured wildly, sending his long limbs flying about. Eddie sighed, and turned back to the mysterious man informing him that the pair will be right back. Eddie gripped onto the side of Richie's leather jacket, pulling him through the masses of people toward backstage.

As they past the heavy black curtains, Eddie let go of Richie's sleeve and turned to face him. "What's up with you?" He asked, curiosity shown in his eyes. His eyes travelled over Richie's sweat cladded face, dark curls clung to his forehead, his face was flush with a light shade of pink making the freckles that Eddie loved disappear for an apparent amount of time.

Richie kicked the tip of his shoe against the concrete, reluctantly looking into Eddie's eyes. "Nothing, Eddie Spaghetti." Richie beamed a smile toward the boy. Eddie quirked an eyebrow at Richie's all too wide smile. Eddie placed his hand son his own hips and gave Richie an expected stare. Richie rolled his eyes and dropped the smile off his face. "I don't like you talking to that guy."

"Rich, you can't get angry every time I talk to other guys,"

"Eddie! He was touching you! I was watching the whole time, you didn't ever turn to face the stage once!" Richie sighed. "I love you too much to just sit back and watch. I don't want to lose you to som-some denim jacket tattoo covered freak!" Eddie's lip twitched into a side smile, as he reached out and took a hold of Richie's hand.

"You are the only denim jacket tattoo covered freak for me baby, I promise." Eddie stood upon the tips of his toes, to press a chaste kiss upon Richie's lips. Richie faintly heard someone callout for him, informing him he's got two minutes until they go back on stage. With an annoyed grunt, Richie pulled Eddie into his embraced, wrapping his arms around the smaller boys shoulders tightly. Richie felt Eddie hug back just as tight, while wrapping his own arms around Richie's middle section. Muffled by Richie's jacket he faintly heard Eddie's teasing tone say,

“There’s no need to be jealous, Rich.” Richie scoffed and pulled away began walking in the opposite direction, shouting in response.

“Shut it Ed’s.” Richie walked away with a genuine  smile on his which made a few of his bands members send him questioning looks which he all dismissed with shake of his head.

As the stage lights turned back on, Richie glanced through his fingerprint cladded glasses to see Eddie's bright smile staring right back at him from  centre stage.  

Richie couldn't be happier.

omg the amount of response ive gotten for new rules is unbelievable. I dont think ppl were even this into equilibrium. the last time u guys acted like this was during the golden boy trilogy and it really feels so good to have this again.
