“your thighs are soft, baby.” maki said which had snapped you out of your thoughts, a small blush creeping up on your face as you smiled shyly, your hand patting your boyfriend’s head gently. “you think so?” you said, oblivious to the fact that maki’s mind had drifted so far ahead of him and how badly he actually wanted you. “yeah, just wondering what they’d look like around my head when i-“ maki stopped himself before he finished his sentence, not wanting to give himself a raging hard on simply from the mere thought of something so dirty.

hey, so a lil help is required... got any tips for making a comic? if you can't help me with that, how do you keep drawing after you draw one thing. (lol, HELP ME)

I've answered what my own comic development has been like before, in some older asks. (And some other ones that are lost forever in my blog q-q)

Regarding my own tips for comic making? Hmmm...

My main take away would be to have FUN!! Your enjoyment drives the story forward. It is important, not just for the comic, but for YOU the artist! :D

don't stress too much over a comic's quality or quantity :) your art is not a fast food truck <3 And your friends will like it anyways

I recommend starting on small ideas you have! You could make some doodles before you actually start making a comic. This may help you feel more attached and/or interested in the story :) It could even flesh out stuff you didn't think about previously!

Having trouble drawing so often? Draw "one-shots"! This can include small snippets of major events you want to see in your story!

Don't be afraid to tell your ideas to ur friends! Ppl will love hearing creative ideas

Because I love dust so much he has insane amounts of trauma and daddy issues.

Basically.

Dusts mom lived in South Korea and his dad lived in America and was visiting South Korea for some nerdy scientist shit idk anyway theyre we’re both scientists blah blah they fell in love and his mom moved to America to have dust uh shit was pretty good until it wasn’t because I am a bitch. His mom died during childbirth but whatever papy was still alive so single dad taking care of newborn baby and this 5 year old or whatever.

Long story short there dad almost lost his job and went mad because of the whole like oh no his wife died and now he’s even more stressed and alone than he was before.

Honestly it’s just the timeline of abuse because he envies dust in a way because dust reminds mr. Dad guy over here. He didn’t have the best childhood with a lot of like rejection and being ignore idk something like that and dust is honestly just like him. He’s super into science and even looks like him except dust has a loving brother and is genuinely content with life for a while. It’s not really enough though, as Papy was basically favorited because Dad didn’t like seeing this younger version of himself and liked the child that resembled his wife the most which is kinda fucked up but mwahaha.

He fucks something up really REALLY and loses his job and his whole science license or something of the sorts so he resorts to like making drugs and doing other illegal shit for people to make himself a living because nobody will hire him after his cute little criminal record and last job experience.

Killer does tie into some of this bit of Dust’s past but shhh this isn’t about him.

Anyway, dust is like ‘hey, I should help my dad out and get us some money’ and he also resorts to doing illegal shit because he doesn’t have time to get a job because he has to watch papyrus and make him meals and shit because dad is too busy and he’s like failing all his classes. Basically he just steals money from this gang (wow I wonder who’s) and uses that to try and help out.

Finally dust snapped under all of the pressure from taking care of his brother and scrounging up money while trying not to get caught and doing school and just oh god it was too much. Not even including the abuse he endured from his father. Either way he pulled a gun on him and was about to like pew pew him until papy got in the way and dust ended up killing two people with one bullet womp womp oh well

Then dust was arrested and thrown in the rubber room with the rats who made him crazy then he ended up breaking out of the mental asylum and is living off of whatever money he could find from where he where he had been hiding it and then basically he shows up at horrors place

spiderman fan anon here again who yapped abt how i think ur spideygumi fic is the literal greatest spidey au of all time.. sry i hope ur not tired of hearing abt it but i just reread the fic (again) and i cant stop thinking abt what mc and megumis development would be like from here… megumi is definitely not the typical peter-parker-type with his sense of justice (as one of his figures’ packaging hilariously summarizes “i save people unequally”) which has SOO much potential for a Good fucking hero story AND new relationship dynamic. like maybe megumi tries to become kind of a more “moral” hero on his own, but shit happens, maybe the govt or police are too corrupt and he realizes he can only trust himself to bring justice to the city, a more batman-like mentality. would mc have a problem with his morality and pull away? would she agree with it and help him as a journalist? would she disagree and give him the With great power Comes great responsibility spiel, leading to him growing into a more “true” spiderman-like hero? Idfk i do not write at all but i cant turn off my comics-loving brain with all this potential!!! i also dont mean to push u to write any of this but i had to talk abt it before i Exploded

ok here's some very small thoughts i have about what a continuation in the story would've looked like:

he tries to find a mix between the public eyes' idea of the right thing and his version of the right thing but... dammit some people just gotta suffer a bit don't they?

he sees someone get a lil too harsh with a dog and he can't just give em a lil scare. next thing he knows they're beaten beyond recognition and webbed up to a wall for the police to deal with. fuck that guy, who hurts dogs??

when the news starts to call him things like menace and people start to wonder if he's not the altruistic hero they thought he was, megumi tries to balance between the different schools of thought of justice. he has you by his side, supporting him and wishing him all the best with being the best he can be...

so when some perp he's apprehending starts spouting off some real nasty shit, megumi tries to tell himself that prison will bring him to justice. over and over in his head he tells himself that he has to let some things go...

but damnit this bigoted asshole won't shut up and megumi just doesn't see how society could possibly function with pieces of shit like this roaming around. and no, when the guy's body goes limp after a swift ninety-degree head-spinning snap to the neck, megumi doesn't feel any regret. only relief that there's one less bastard in his city.

as for you, you've always trusted in spiderman. so you're learning to place your trust in megumi, too. you hate the rare occasion when he visits you bloodied and bruised, but you hate the idea of a city without spiderman's protection even more. you've been a fan of spiderman since the first day you'd heard of the sightings. a ride or die doesn't walk away just because things are getting a little nastier out there.

a career in journalism will prove to be difficult. the truth about megumi's double life is a secret that you both understand must stay contained no matter the price. you probably bounce around a few firms, trying to find just the right place to land where you can write the truth without revealing too much. however most outlets just want to report on the crimes spiderman himself has committed, and you struggle with badmouthing your hero (and your boyfriend)

i like to think megumi laughs at the papers trying to paint him as a villain. it doesn't stress him out, it's nothing to him really. just a source of entertainment for him to read to you over dinner. between the two of you, you handle the ugly headlines far worse. but megumi likes to rile you up by reading all the worst ones to you, just to make you fuss over it all. some nights it's like you're rivals again- megumi taunting you with the latest edition of the spider-menace storytelling, chuckling when you start to crinkle your brows and spout off about how some writers are uneducated phonies or how they're ungrateful for what he's done. you never fail to go on a long winded rant followed by some chugged down water. and as always, megumi will just smirk and shake his head as he throws away said latest edition.

I've been a bit stressed lately because school started again and my teachers obviously hate free time, I have so much homework to do (I'm living in Germany and doing my "Abi(tur)", I don't really know what it's called in english or if there even is something like that in England... but here we must do this first so we can go to uni (i hate the school-system in Germany). I'm really happy, that you appreciate my silly little asks, so here I am with another update on "luck came (and died 'round here)" because I love this fanfic and I've finished the first half of my homework (the other half is for tomorrow) so I need a little treat. By the way I am learning Spanish at the moment and it is so much fun (I can say hello, ask how you are and all this basic things), but now back to my reading update!

Firstly, I really love the dynamic Barty and Lily have, they are just so funny while they are bickering. I really, really love it and giggle so much! 🤭

i apologise if this is something u get asked often, but ur writing is most definitely my favourite to consume and ive never felt feelings the way i do when i read anything you've written, and was wondering if you have (or have already posted) any writing tips that u could give me?

reading your creations for so long has honestly really inspired me to write too but i have no idea where to start in terms of anything. i've never attempted to write before, i've always been more of a reader, but if i could make anything even close to what you do for beloved characters and fandoms then it would make me so so so happy.

if you need me to be more specific about what i'm having trouble with i could try and narrow it down but honestly everything is pretty accurate T-T

this made my lower lip tremble how could u think so highly of lil ol me.... im very glad my writing could invoke such feelings you!! enough so to even inspire like how huge is that... im a very unpolished and messy writer by nature so im extra moved when people are kind to me about this kind of thing. like.. ough. i have moved u... what a world...

i dont know if i have any good writing advice to give you!! im very clumsy in my own writing. here is some advice i have given people before

my biggest piece of writing advice is stop worrying about it and do everything lightly. i think there is a lot of pressure and expectation on people who are trying their hand at any creative thing to hit a point of being objectively good. im a huge perfectionist in my normal life - but because of that, i always miss out things i could actually do. being that caught up on the details made it so that i never actually tried at anything

a lot of my writing has typing errors and things i could do better but i have to intentionally allow myself that grace because if i don't - i would've never finished a piece of writing in the first place. i only get better if i write and i only write if im not so caught up on the details. there is always going to be a learning curve. im always going to look back at old writing and wince a little at all the things i can do better.

but at the time, i had the confidence to put that out into the world. now that its out, i can look at myself critically. posting for me is a way of holding myself accountable if that makes sense. everyones already seen the flawed version, so there's no longer any reason to not improve or be embarrassed. its also why i dont delete fics even when i hate them later. there was one person who liked the cringe worthy sincere aspect of me. how nice would it be if i could make something even better than that.

writing can be anything you want. it can be the most important thing you've ever done or the thing you do on the bus ride home. it can change your life or you can forget about it the very next day. its yours. your voice is always all yours.

but you it can never be anything to you if you don't just give it your most honest try. do everything very lightly. pick an idea, map out a beginning middle and end, and write a story.

more practically - it will help immensely for you to observe the way other people write first. try to read critically instead of for enjoyment and see what you like. what inspires you? a persons flow, diction, dialogue? and emulate that in your own way. when you start your voice will not be much more than a mish-mash of all the things you love and that's okay. that's what all writers with very distinct voice tend to do anyways.

i know it seems counter intuitive and pointless to stress but really - the best thing you can do for yourself when it comes to writing is just sitting down and giving it a try. pick any idea, plot out a simple 3 point beginning middle and end, and just see what you can do. you can be critical and edit as much as you want after. just get it down on paper first the best you can and don't worry yourself sick over each sentence or nothing will ever get written

i can try and give you more practical advice if you let me know what you need!! ive given writing advice before but im very under qualified for that i fear. even so i hope it helps you a little to give it a shot. i know it sucks to hear u just have to try and see but it rlly is true

Okay. But first, a little bit of back story.

At first when I played the first game, I was really just playing for self interest (and I was bored). I really started to get attached to Lucifer but then I saw the relationship between Luci and Dia and was like- “OH THESE BITCHES FUCKIN’!” (That’s literally why I’m only playing the game. To see these two love birds interact (and possibly uncover a little more of their backstory piece by piece.)

Anyway. Back to the main point ig.

So. The main idea that comes to my mind with these two is just… lingerie. Lucifer wearing lingerie to ‘impress’ or ‘seduce’ Dia is just SO gold. Also Dia trying to fit into lingerie but it just ends up tearing and is absolutely hilarious. I love home boy sm oml.

The second idea would probs be something like- “Stressful day? Leave it to Dia! He’ll make is somehow worse by trying to cheer you up!” Which is so cannon in my opinion- bc I’m still remembering the pillow fight scene from early in the game lmao.

The last idea is probably gonna go with Lucifer slander. The brothers teasing Luci about how Luci and Dia never leave each other’s side and are always near each other is golden in my opinion.

Anyway. That’s pretty much a more tame version of my thoughts (and so much less in numbers). I hope to read more of your AMAZINGLY CRAFTED fanworks in the very near future! Kudos to you, from the DiaLuci community 💙❤️

I'm so happy you found me here because I am also full of shenanigans and I loved reading yours!

While I did start playing to experience that chuunibyou part of my life again and be a nonbinary character in an otome (interesting concept), I ALSO play the game mainly to see these guys interact. This ship can fit into so many situations™ and I have no trouble writing or drawing them in any AUs with their silly dynamic. To this day, nothing beats The Glory Days Lucifer UR card. I based so much of my work off of it. I hope that the devs can keep feeding us in the future ❤️

Lingerie: ooh! Funny story, I have DiaLuci go to the sex shop in Chapter 16 in "Self Control" (Dia goes a lil nuts buying random stuff), and it becomes thematically relevant again in the sequel "The Sex Shop". I do a callback to Lucifer sarcastically noting how the panties cover nothing and "what's the point?" I characterise him as a pragmatic being so I wanted him to be the foil to Diavolo's silliness (Chapter 13 TSS). I started out writing these for smut purposes, but I just couldn't let the possibilities go to waste; that's why SC and TSS both go into very emotional territory and are very plotful because i wanted them to be together in all ways (from love, friendship, lust, not necessarily in that order). They were meant to be together the moment Dia rearranged Lucifers mind via their first meeting (Dia gets to rearrange more than that in the far future after their thousands of years of slowburn ohoho). I write these bitches as switches so ofc they both get to experience the fun things. I may draw the lingerie but I also have part 3 of The Self Control Saga where I can go into it because part 3 is my Kinktober offerings.

Dia making everything better™ is the best thing ever. This absolute bafoon of a prince presses a mystery button just for the lulz and stops time. Canonically, he's too silly for his own good and i swear Lucifer gets more grey hairs dealing with all the shenanigans. (Dia finds his greys mad sexy though so maybe he's doing it on purpose)

Re: the brothers. I think you would enjoy reading chapter 2 of "Lucifer's Socks and Other Goofy Stories". I will get them to poke at the relationship somehow in one of my stories but I haven't found a thematically relevant place to put that yet :D

He and Atushi were walking down the hall to class, and to waste time Himuro was reading flyers

There was a concert that was being held at your school for the choir

And he just happened to be reading the flyer and he saw your name!

You didnt tell him that you were in choir so you were surprised to see him there!

After your performance he gave you chocolate

You had put to much strain on your vocal cords so you had made an appointment

Teppei being Teppei, he struck up a conversation with you in the waiting room and that's how he found out you were in an elite choir

He noticed that you were in Serin's uniform and that was a wrap

So a few months down the line and you two are in a happy and thriving relationship :)

This was your his first time going to your concert so you were both excited!

He was so amazed by your skills, in awe, mouth wide open

After your concert he gave you a big hug and congratulated you

"That was amazing baby! Just when I thought you couldn't get any better you prove me otherwise!"

Always goes to your concert and you swear you can see his smile even if he was all the way in back rows

He walked in on you practicing after school!

He thought he was alone until he walked in on you singing!

When the day arrived, he and the other second years came to see you in action
