For as much as he loved going out during the evenings, one might expect the blonde feline to be right at home in a party setting such as this, but… Nights out in a bar or club were a fair bit different than the gala he currently found himself attending. Breaking away from the other guests after having taken another round of photos, and getting the needed details for if said guests wanted personal copies of those photos after the event, the photographer slipped off into one of the more tucked away seating areas for a bit. Lightly flopping onto the sofa-like seat before allowing himself to give a light sigh.

"Looks like tonight might end up feeling longer than I first thought…" Muttering that thought to himself, slightly drooped ears perked up at the sound of someone walking over, gold gaze soon flicking over toward the other. And while it took a second to muster back up, he soon offered the older man now standing near by a charming sort of smile.

"If you've come over to ask about a photo, then I can snap one for you here in a few minutes." Putting on the more friendly seeming manner he'd been showing off toward most everyone else so far that night, Minato had no idea if that was actually the other man's intention in coming over, but… It felt like a safe bet.

WAIT OMG i forgot we have like the same hair hold awn

i feel like my routine is pretty manageable and low maintenance considering the alternatives that ive seen 😭😭 but uhhh the most important parts of it imo r to comb through ur hair in the shower (i just use my fingers as im conditioning and it works well enough) and then Not Brush It At All After bc for me personally it ruins any curl pattern that might exist + and at least by then end, rinsing ur hair out upside down and only squeezing it dry by scrunching (unsure of how much of this u already do lol but. yeha)

and if u plan to get any product id also recommend a wave definer. i use the one from devacurl (i find it at ulta and it’s not like. drug store price so im sure there are cheaper options but it Works For Me) and that one i think works better w some kind of mousse also for hold (i use a drug store/target one for this), but u don’t absolutely need it. the only other product i have besides those two is a leave in conditioner like moss mentioned (which i also get from the drugstore/target)

i still feel like my hair routine is Full of experimentation and sometimes hit or miss depending on the day btw and ive been making attempts at it for around a year now i believe so. shrugs its a work in progress BUT I HOPE THIS HELPS !!

the no brushing thing is what always trips me up because like....it's true that it will straighten out any curl pattern that exists, but if i don't brush it then i just look like a gremlin who perhaps just rolled out of bed? maybe i can find some sort of line with a wide toothed comb or something because i cannottttt in leave the house and look like a put together person (right now) if i don't brush my hair, but if i do brush my hair it'll be less wavy. sigh. maybe developing a routine specifically to encourage waviness will help?

fortunately i also like the wavy poof from it being brushed out, i know some people can't brush it out at all without it being terribly frizzy so i lucked out there:

i don't rinse my hair upside down after washing it, but i do scrunch it. that does seem to help. i've done it with gel before but imo it was too strong for my hair so it looked bad. just scrunching it without any product actually seems to help all by itself. also i might try that devacurl? but i seem to remember hearing bad stuff about it, idk if they fixed things or not. but either way i'll look into something similar at least

Levi talks about being lonely and suggests that maybe having a baby would be perfect, you'd get to look after a precious baby and not be so lonely when you're at home and it'd be fun and cute. You suggest that if he was lonely and wanted company, then a cat or dog would do great. Levi tries to convince you about a baby being better company. In the end, Levi confesses he wants to start a family. You pause a moment, then tell him he should have just asked if he wanted a baby and tell him he better throw the condoms out making your husband very excited.

You sat on the bed with Levi lying on you and his head in your boobs. You playfully moved and touched his hair. You were treating him like he was this fragile and precious thing. He whined a little. "I was. I missed you so much."

He leaned on his forearms, then looked back at the tv when he heard a baby. Levi blushed at seeing the baby, then he looked down at you and couldn't stop thinking about having a baby. He'd been thinking about it for a long time. Levi wanted a family with you and you both had talked about it and wanted it, but it'd been a while since you'd talked about it and agreed. You both wanted it but hadn't picked a day or time to start trying.

He hummed and said your name. "You know how we both get lonely when the other isn't around?"

"Yes." You cupped the back of his head, then pulled him against you.

He gulped. "Well, why don't we have a baby? We won't be lonely when the other isn't around and it'll bring us a lot of joy."

You played with your husband's hair. "If you're lonely, then we should get a cat or a dog."

Levi rolled off you and lay on his side next to you. "But a baby would grow into this cute kid that can talk and play with us."

You rolled onto your side. "Yeah, but a dog you can take on walks and meet people."

"I don't like people."

You laughed. "Okay, okay." You hummed. "Well, a cat would give you company."

He shook his head. "Cats are dirty, they lick themselves."

You let out a long sigh. "Alright, so a dog then. Dogs can be trained and they like cuddles. I know for sure you'd get on with a dog."

He pouted. "I don't want a pet."

You propped your head upon your hand. "Then what do you want? You say you're lonely, but you don't want a pet." You raised your brow. "Are you lonely?"

He whined a little and blushed. "I am."

You smiled at him, then reached over and rubbed his chest. "My poor hubby super lonely, huh?"

He gulped hard. "We can afford one of us working."

You nodded. "We can. You have a very high paying job and mine is not so bad. Are you suggesting I stop working?"

You hummed in thought. "You know, being at home would be amazing."

He shuffled closer. "I can work from home more."

He whined a little. "Means we could be there for the baby."

You let out a long sigh. "This isn't about being lonely, is it? Speak Levi, tell me the truth."

He sat up and ruffled his hair. "I want a baby. I know it's your choice because you carry the baby and having a baby is scary and painful for you." He sniffed and rubbed his tears away with his cardigan sleeve. "Sorry. I want kids like we talked about, but I'm okay if you've changed your mind."

You sat up and rubbed Levi's back. "You should have just asked about a baby instead of making it about being lonely."

"I know. I'm sorry."

You rested your chin on his shoulder. "Hey, Levi?"

He took your hand and held it. "Mm?"

You smirked. "You better empty your drawer full of condoms, because they might run out of date by the time we get back to having sex after the baby."

"You gotta stop death-glaring people, it'll lose it's effect if you do it too much." I nudged my boyfriend with my knee under the table.

Nico shrugged. "First of all, I'm the son of Hades, all my glares are death glares and will never lose their effect." His fingers twisted with mine across the table. "And second of all, they're being judgemental fucks and deserve to be death-glared. Well," he paused for a second, considering. "They deserve a lot worse, but I'm not allowed to do worse."

Nodding, I smoothed my thumb over his knuckles. "Nope, doing worse won't help, they're just gonna have to deal with the fact that we both look damn good in skirts."

A tiny smile settled on Nico's lips and I reflected it twice as big. It was true, I'd felt bold enough to wear a skirt today and was excited when Nico took my offer to wear one seriously. It was black, hanging just below his knees and swished when he walked. While most people at Camp Half Blood were cool with it, there were some that still didn't understand, hence the death-glares from my short but surprisingly fierce boyfriend.

"We do look good," Nico agreed, and I internally thrilled at his attempt at self-confidence. "Not sure how practical it's gonna be when sparring, but we'll work it out."

The next few minutes were spent in silence as I read a book I'd borrowed from Annabeth and Nico absently played with mouse bones he'd raised.

The calm silence was broken by another camper jogging over to us. "Hey, di Angelo! We're doing a headcount for how many people are gonna be at the chariot-racing tomorrow, are you coming?" She paused, looking hesitant and slightly guilty. "You and your boyfr- girl- boy-?"

Nico sighed, rolling his eyes. "My partner. They're my partner and they don't use boyfriend or girlfriend and no, we won't be at the chariot-racing."

She nodded, repeating 'they and them, partner, okay' under her breath, nodding to herself. "Right, cool, got it, see ya!" She sped away.

I raised an eyebrow. "Why won't we be at the chariot-racing?"

Nico coughed slightly, the faintest shade of red settling on his cheeks. "W-well, I don't want to, there are always too many people and it's always so loud, and..." he trailed off.

Squeezing his hand lightly, I waited for him to continue.

He swallowed, avoiding eye contact. "...I may have gotten some new disney movies that I haven't seen yet and I wanted to, uhm, maybe watch them." He bit his lip. "With you. Like a date."

I for one would love to hear more about this discarded pile of Pan Statues you mentioned in some tags. Did it Lilly date to a Christian Conversion in the region? Or some other great shift? Did the people in that region somehow resist? I remember reading that Pan and Hermes were once the same deity that split, if that’s related.

from what I remember, there wasn't a great shift around when the statues were dated to

my professor said the interpretation they had of where they were was that they were discarded after use but weren't destroyed because they were religious symbols so thats how the pan statue pile came to be

it’s been a hot minute since i really wrote anything beyond like random notes for fics in the notes app on my phone but i do have a short lil thing that i may or may not finish, who knows. last edit on this was in july lol

Banri doesn't get sick. Living life on super ultra easy mode has its perks, afterall. Hyodo, on the other hand, has kept him up for two nights in a row because he refuses to admit that he's sick and even if he would, there's no way in hell he'll take medicine to get better. It's not sweet enough.

He's tempted to go sleep in Itaru's room, but he does actually want to sleep tonight, not stay up gaming. Hyodo coughs from across the room and Banri groans, sliding his head under his pillow. He'd tell Hyodo to shut up already, but he'd tried that earlier and he'd barely received a response through the coughing. At this rate, he might actually end up getting sick because of Hyodo, and there'll be hell to pay if he does. 

Every time he nearly falls asleep, there's yet another fit of coughing and sniffling. He knows it's much worse for Hyodo, but that shouldn't mean he has to suffer. He opens up his phone, finally, and sees that it's just after one in the morning. Inconvenient, but the perfect time to check on all his mobile games. While he's completing all of the daily quests and making as much progress as possible on the weekly and monthly ones, he gets a message from Itaru.

taruchi: weren't you going to bed early tonight?

NEO: i wanted to NEO: but fucking Hyodo NEO: and his fucking cough

taruchi: lol taruchi: try not to kill him in his sleep

NEO: he's not sleeping, so

taruchi: thats ur takeaway?

Banri rolls his eyes and sets his phone back down. It'll take a bit for his stamina to restore again, so he may as well try to sleep again. Hyodo seems to have fallen blissfully silent, and he's hoping it'll last long enough for him to fall asleep.

The next thing he hears is the sound of his alarm going off. Apparently Hyodo gets to live to see another day. He lets it ring a little longer than he usually would because Hyodo isn't a morning person and waits until the last minute to get up because fuck Hyodo.

"Turn that thing off, will ya?" Hyodo grumbles, voice rough and nearly gone.

"Sorry, what was that?" Banri teases, letting his alarm continue to ring. A pillow comes flying at him, but he bats it away with a laugh. "Your fault for keeping me up so late, you know."

"I can't help that I'm- that I was coughing last night!" Hyodo yells, or, tries to. The crack in his voice at the end voids any semblance of intimidation he may have had. And really, how can Banri not laugh at that? "Shut the hell up!"

Banri finally silences his alarm and climbs down the ladder of his bed. Hyodo's pulled out his own phone and taps at it a bit before getting up.

"You're not seriously planning on going to school today, are you?" 

Hyodo stares at him in confusion. "Where else would I go?"

Lance flips his boyfriend off before he drops to his knees and takes a small bobby pin from the back pocket of his jeans.

“Keep talking, Tadashi, and this is the last time I do something nice for you.” Lance threatens, his hands still focused on pick locking the door.

“Well, that doesn’t sound good for future horny me.”  The young adult mumbles before frowning, “And stop calling me Tadashi.”

“It’s your birth name, Kuro.” Lance replies, nickname rolling easily on his tongue, and waves him off with a shrug, “But fine, your wish is my command, babe.”

Kuro pouts at him and kicks him on the butt from behind, smirking when Lance yelps in surprise.

“How long have you been planning this, babe?”

Lance hums. “A month before you graduated last semester.”

Kuro’s eyes snap open in surprise. “That long? Babe, you didn’t have to do this, I told you back then that I was okay not getting a photo.”

His boyfriend scoffs. “Hell no. You graduated with honors, love, despite the fact that no one believed you could do it. You deserved to have your picture with the Black Lion, your career mascot! It’s a College Tradition!”

Kuro chuckles softly at the passion in the brunet’s voice. “The Director didn’t like me, we all knew that. I’m just glad I was able to prove them all wrong.”

Lance looks behind him over his shoulder to met his eyes and then he smiles softly. “Yes…you did prove them wrong and I couldn’t be prouder.”

Kuro snorts but smiles fondly as Lance keeps rambling about the love story between the janitor and the Head Nurse inside the campus.

Lance hums in approval and then step inside the building, not bothering to be quiet int he least. They cross the silent halls until they reach the Black Lion Hagar, the mascot of every Law student inside the Campus.

The brunet cheers loudly at the sight of the big statue of the lion with black rock armor around it. Lance smirks smugly, looking over his shoulder to meet his boyfriend’s eyes, before it’s wipe off and then he’s shouting out in surprise as he slips over the recently wet floor. He shuts his eyes and breathes out in relief when he feels the familiar grip of a strong hand supporting him from his lower back.

“Nice catch.” Lance praises, snickering playfully.

“Careful, babe.” Kuro scolds with a frown and Lance shrugs, smiling innocently at his boyfriend, “At this rate it will be you who don’t have a photo for dying before your own graduation.”

Lance laughs before he pats Kuro on the arm, silently telling him to pull him up to his feet. “We don’t want that when I’m only one semester away from that, now do we?” Lance sings, turning around once again and heading towards the statue.

“Hop, hop!” Lance urges, pulling the older adult by the wrist, “Up you go, Black Paladin.”

“Pretty sure that’s more Shiro than me.” Kuro mumbles but shrugs, laughing as Lance keeps pushing him forward, “Alright, alright, I’m going.”

It’s an easy climb. The Lions were not statues any students are supposed to climb on, but the rule has always been overlooked ever since it became a tradition within students. Every students had a right to take a photo flying with their own Lion. In Lance’s case, he will be flying the Blue Lion the very same day he receives his diploma.

Kuro has already promised he will be the one taking the photo, which is only fitting for Lance to take his photo on the Black Lion.

“Ready?” Lance asks, smiling excitedly and Kuro nods, slipping his helmet on.

“Ready.”
