This is just how I respond or post stuff a decent amount of the time. If u see my other posts or reblogs, I tend to be thorough.

"It was not my intention to be nonchalant and disrespectful in my opinion about Hunter x Hunter when I haven't even seen it, but I'd like to try and better explain the conversation with my roommate."

I wasn't trying to say u were, I was saying ur roommate and some other people who are voting Asano's are kind heavily downplaying the Zoldycks; which is starting to irritate me a bit. I wasn't saying u were.

"When she explained the situation with Killua coming home, she was purposely being very flippant about it, but the part that she focused on was that he wasn't turned away. And I think Gakushuu would have been, without a doubt. Yes, they tortured Killua, but that's just "how they say I love you". It is absolutely horrible, and dysfunctional, and not at all okay, but they still took him back.'

My issue with how u explained what ur roommate said. Like what me and another reblogger said, some of what ur roommate said happen in that other reblog. Just legit didn't happen. It wasn't even a matter of different interpretations; it legit just didn't happen. And that they severely downplayed it (I know they were being flippant, but still). And just left out the part where they wanted him to come, despite him not wanting to, and Illumi basically mentally abused, maybe even brainwashed and/or hypnotized him into coming home.

Yeah, ofc he wasn't turned way; they basically all but forced him to come home; a place where he was unhappy, and then had him tortured punished for weeks (which, considering how Killua's took it and reacted to it; is something the Zoldycks do often. Which is terrible). Also, he is the family heir, so once again, ofc they want him back. It is so weird that ur roommate focused so much on "they took him back"; considering that, and everything else about the Zoldyck family.

Doesn't mean they aren't any less dysfunctional and abusive. If anything, they are just continuing the cycle of abuse. Which Killua, Alluka, Nanika are escaping from. Also, besides that, I said that basically all of them are kind of rebelling in a way; though Killua did esp. And Illumi is just getting worse honestly; mentally. Also, Illumi is just delusional (I love him though).

"She related the Zoldycks to the Addams family. It is completely dysfunctional to encourage your daughter to use the sharp knives instead of the rusty ones when trying to kill their son, but they see it as her just "expressing herself". The Addams family focuses more on the fact that despite their dysfunction, they clearly love each other, but it is still highly abusive and constantly life threatening throughout. Yet somehow, they're still a family."

I can kind of see the Addams family and Zoldyck Family comparasioin myself. I have actually made the comparasion myself sometimes. However, the Zoldycks are infinitely worse. Much worse.

Also, there being love, or some kind/form of love, doesn't make a family not abusive or dysfunctional. It is actually is/can be a very realistic thing for there to still be care and love actually.

Is it more dysfunctional to continue your dysfunctional family with enough stability to be called a family that only expands into worse, more horrible dysfunction? Or is it more dysfunctional that more and more family members leave the dysfunction that is their life until there's no family left because they can't even keep that together? That key factor determines whether or not you think the Zoldycks or Asanos should win, and both are valid, but I pick the Asanos."

I think on a purely objective level both the Zoldycks and Ushiromiyas are/were more dysfunctional. There are different interpretations and takes and both The Zoldycks and Asanos are validly dysfunctinoal. And I don't really think comparing trauma and stuff like that is the best really.

However, I do think just objectively (and again, while I do have more preference for HxH over AssClassroom. I have still watched and/or read both series, and love both. And when it comes to Umineko and AssClassroom, while I love both. Unlike Assassination Classroom, I haven't fully completed Umineko yet. Not counting the anime; which I have fully completed. So my love and/or exposure towards them are probably more equal; if not, me having even more exposure with Assissanation Classroom. And I still think the Ushiromiyas should have won) that both the Zoldycks and the Ushiromiyas (I know they lost, but I do think they should have won. Not saying Asanos haven't deserved how far they got. But against some of them, like the Ushiromiyas, I do think the Ushiromiyas should have won) should have won and/or should win.

So! Let’s look at subbed Ryusoulger nigh immediately after raw Ryusoulger.

… Huh. I’m not sure about that sentence.

So, I got into one of my theory rambles at the end of this. In case anyone wants to just skip to the end and avoid the nonsensical bullet points. XD

In no order:

I love the angsty edgy bros w/ my whole heart and no one can stop me.

Touwa definitely sounds a little… I dunno, wistful? I really think he is lonely, and too read too much between the lines, this sort of seems to me like he may not know about the betrayal thing. I guess it just kind of seemed like there was an edge of questioning about it? Like he’s bringing up the topic of ‘friends’ in an effort to probe his brother’s reasons for being so against it? … Probably overthinking it.

Kou inconveniently makes a noise before I can learn anything about Banba’s opinion on the word ‘friends.’ Damnit, Kou. If you weren’t so cute…

He’s so happy, gods love him. Banba just stares incredulously at him, but Touwa rolls his eyes. Definitely the more expressive of the two. ^^

Banba does let Kou back up quite promptly, though. He may not trust people or want to work w/ them, but he’s not outright hostile, at least.

Important facts: Melto now gets to eat a banana w/out having to worry about being incriminated.

Kou just takes things, does he. XD There’s his mischievous side. ^^ Though I guess he did have a reason, and it was a clever tactic to get the other two’s attention.

Banba is somewhere offscreen like ‘damnit, Touwa, don’t make promises I don’t want to keep!’

Kou’s awkward ‘wait, this isn’t mine…’ moment when Touwa says he’d have to give them the map. XD

Okay. I love all these kids, and they’re all doing great. But what gets me in the opening shot of all of them screaming is that Tatsuya, Ichika, and Tsuna are all just going for it w/ the tragic drama, while Yuito and Hayate… Maybe it’s bc there’s no other context but they both kinda look like they’re almost smiling to me? Weird, I know. And probably just me.

And the problem children are officially at it. XD Drama babies.

I still don’t understand why the hell Touwa knows about that. Have you been hanging out w/ business men? Does Kou even know, for that matter?

I love Kou being super impressed until Touwa claims he won. It’s so adorable. ‘Wow, you’re actually really good––no, wait!’

Ah, Touwa acts all indifferent, but I think he’s definitely enjoying this. Kinda seemed like he suddenly realised he was having fun and immediately tried to backtrack. Like, really, when was the last time he got to behave like a kid? Like, we know Banba loves him, and I’m sure they played as children, but it’s a little different––probably esp after Banba started shutting himself off, depending on when that happened. Gah. It’s hard to explain. Like, why there’s the whole thing about how it’s good for children to play w/ kids their own age, and stuff like that.

They both keep doing the same thing. XD You boys are so similar. ^^ … Banba is going to kill you both.

Still a cool reveal shot. Also, damn, Banba got there fast. Does he have a ‘someone just pushed my brother in a fountain’ radar or something?

Actually, he probably does have a ‘brother in trouble’ radar.

Banba officially becomes the second person to actually formally trade blows w/ Tankjoh. And the last time, when Kou did it, he was riding adrenaline and rage from Master Red’s death. This is really cool.

Like, he was able to activate KataSoul in perfect timing to not get untransformed by the purple glowy slash. And it didn’t even really knock him back––he does a bloody flip and leaps clear. And while he’s a bit out of breath from it, he doesn’t seem that worse for wear. That was impressive! Even Tankjoh was kind of impressed!

XD These two dorks. Definitely already got the bickering down. ^^

Ah, yes. The universal Toku Hospital. Pretty sure this is where Geiz and Tsukuyomi took Sougo during the Ghost arc.

How… How would you tell if that was the Minusaur host. Like. Is it it just based on the toy gun? I’m beginning to wonder if Banba was just staring at Kou when he asked about killing the kid bc he could believe Kou was dumb enough to think he’d do that before being sure.

Or just for thinking that he’d do that already. It’s not like they want to kill people, they just think they’d have to.

Like, they’ve––well, definitely Banba, I think Touwa might have some left––lost all optimism. I don’t think Banba believes in the ‘power of hope and determination’ at this point. Boy needs to relearn his Sentai tropes. ^^ I mean, he’s definitely shut off most of his empathy. Like I know I’ve said before, and I’m so annoying I’ll say it again, I think he had the opposite reaction to trauma that the trio did. They choose to find hope and carry on in the memory of their Masters, and try to find happiness to help counteract the sorrow––whereas Banba seems to have reacted by deciding he’ll stop the pain by just feeling and connecting as little as possible. If that made any sense.

Banba says nothing, and he’s really stoic, but I think he’s also uncomfortable w/ that concept. Esp since it still seems like he raised his brother, I highly doubt he could actually harm a child w/out thinking of Touwa.

When did Kou stuff that down his shirt? And how did it stay there?

I love how Melto immediately chastises Kou for taking things. XD Definitely the mom friend.

Kou just looks confused.

Maybe I’m totally overreading Banba’s reaction to Melto suggesting they split up? But it’s the sort of thing that could very well be related to a betrayal, no? I dunno. Maybe he really was just looking for an opportunity to make someone else deal w/ Kou and Touwa’s competition.

Apparently, Asuna can’t read a map.

Oh, and don’t worry about him, dear. He’s just like that. I promise you, he’ll open up eventually.

Love how he’s very purposefully walking a certain amount of feet away from her.

Okay, but the fact that TigerLance and MirNeedle really are stuck in their temple means so much to me. I can’t believe my goofy, über-tired joke theory came true.

I love how we’re all including each other in calls now. Like, before Asuna just called Kou. But apparently we all, I dunno, exchanged numbers? Is it possible to only call one person, or are they now just stuck on conference for life?

Banba will hate that if it’s true.

Touwa is vaguely concerned, aw. I really think he’s been a little lonely, what w/ Banba just having lost all faith in the rest of the world, so to speak, while he didn’t have the same experience; so the trio are growing on him faster, and he’s a little more open to the chance of connecting w/ others.

Also, the fact that Banba was the one to associate the Minusaur’s behaviour w/ an adult playing w/ a child. He seems like the last person that would be able to make that connection, but he’s also the one that we can confirm to actually have potentially interacted w/ a child in that way.

But even if I’m wondering if I’m overthinking Banba’s reaction to the splitting up suggestion, I really don’t think I’m overthinking Touwa’s reaction to the reveal about what created the Minusaur. It seems to have hit a nerve, and I think we can now be pretty certain that the boys have (presumably, though I guess it could have been their mother) dad issues of some kind. But… Well, I’ll get more into those ideas a little further down. See, there was this idea I had… I’ll get to it at the end.

I don’t think it’s that strange for Touwa to intercede. He has an idea to beat the Minusaur w/out killing anyone. The brothers don’t actually want to kill anyone. They just thought they’d have to if they couldn’t stop the monster in time.

Though I do definitely think there’s also something personal going on.

Banba’s comment, not only sets up his motivations for next episode, and make sit double clear how much Touwa means to him, but also reenforces my suspicion that the brothers have dad issues.

I love MirNeedle and his weird steamboat sound.

Also Banba almost smiling and kind of teasing his brother. ^^ Even more cuteness.

I love how the touching moment where Touwa admits that he’s kind of gotten fond of these fools is promptly followed by evidence of their utter incompetence and goofy melodrama. XD

Really excited for next week. XD I mean, it was already highly likely that they way they’d get Banba to start at least working w/ the team would be through Touwa, since Touwa is the only person he’s able to trust right now, but I’m excited for how they’re doing it. Usually stoic big siblings being distressed and frantic over injured little siblings is one of my jams. ^^

Seems like Tanjkoh is deliberately goading Kou, and it turns out to be a setup of some kind. Touwa ends up getting bitten by the Cerberus-based Minusaur, which seems to be some sort of rabid dog/werewolf type thing where the bite does something. And, naturally, Banba freaks out. Presumably after they get him calmed down enough to actually go after the Minusaur rather than just stabbing the nice animal lady (emotional Banba is not gonna be rational Banba), he eventually agrees to work w/ them in order to save his brother.

According to the website, his relationship w/ Kou also changes? So we’re starting the adoption process, I think. XD

Aaaah. While I do love the little Kishiryu running about on the book, I also would’ve loved if they’d done like LuPat where the preview kinda continued under the sponsor stuff, so we got to see a little more of the next ep. Mainly bc I am a big impatient baby. XD

That’s all folks! White chocolate rubber duck for anyone who read all that (go on, eat all of it, I dare you).

Anyway, onto that theory I promised to get to. So, when things were first getting revealed, and it turned out that Green and Black were brothers and we learned about Gaisorg/Gaisoulg, and how those three would be appearing in Strongest Battle, I had a thought that maybe Gaisorg was their father, who was either getting controlled by the Druidon (like Wolzard) or had gone evil for power, or something (like Ikkou and Isshu’s father). When it turned out that it was the armour, and esp when the brothers didn’t seem to recognise it, I pretty much ditched the idea. However. There have been developments. Someone picked up and took Gaisorg’s helmet away at the end of Strongets Battle. They’ve stated that Banba was betrayed in the past. This most recent ep indicated that Banba and Touwa have some kind of father issues––namely, that their father was likely rarely around, esp for Touwa. Banba’s line to the father about how there’s nothing more precious in the world than family. So now I’m wondering. Was their father the one who betrayed him/them? Maybe he wasn’t around bc he got obsessed w/ being stronger? Or maybe he betrayed them early, and Banba made the call to get away from him? Banba coming out of his usual stoicism to inform someone of the importance of family could just indicate he’s dealt w/ someone who failed in that regard, possibly in almost exactly the same way. A father who put duty (or maybe just plain power) before his children. Could also explain Banba’s desire to prove his own strength, prove he’s better than their father. And while he’s obsessively devoted to the mission (possibly after seeing his father lose sight of it?), it’s certain he would never put it above Touwa. His arc could partially be not just learning how to trust again and finding friends/a new family, but also getting away from their father in his own way.

Alternatively, I’m riding the high of the fact that my goofy ‘what if TigerLance and MirNeedle are trapped’ theory, and I’m running my mouth. But it does smack of a rather stock Sentai/Toku style, though in those the fathers usually turn out to be under the control of the bad guys, or it’s some sort of secret plan. But maybe we are pulling a KR here, and dad’s just plain a dickwad. Might be interesting.

Facts Fixer - Lasik & Smile

Q1. What are A / C / I / K / O / Z - Lasik so on & so forth? Are they all same? Which one is the best for me?

Our cornea is never a perfectly spherical structure. Its shape is slightly different. It is rather sort of an Asphere. Asphericity and Ocular Aberrations (optical & refractive system defects) may be described and measured in many-many forms and values, details of which is beyond the scope of this article and most patients DO NOT need to worry about it. We try to maintain the Asphericity of cornea & optical system of the eye in maximum possible way during any surgery whether we do Lasik or we do Phaco-cataract surgery (by putting an aspheric lens implant). The higher the refractive error from 2.5 - 2.75 dioptre you have in your eye, the more are chances of disturbing the "asphericity" of cornea if we do just a simple plain Spherical profile ablasion in Lasik. So it is better to go for "ASPHERIC profile Lasik" if you have number more than 2.0-2.25 dioptres.

"C"USTOM or WAVEFRONT-"GUIDED" Lasik (also known as C-Lasik) is actually needed in less than 5-10% cases where you have significant "HIGHER ORDER ABERATIONS" detected on an ABBEROMETER matchine. Many different Companies have their own different Topography-Aberrometry platforms and have named each of their own platforms with some names (eg ZEE/Z-Lasik or Zyoptics is the C-Lasik of BAUSCH n LOMB-Technolas Platform, O-Lasik or Wavefront-Optimized Treatment / Topography guided T-CATby WAVELIGHT Allegro (ALCON-Contoura Vision treatment), C-Lasik of AMO-CUSTOMVUE, Nidek-NAVEX with OPD-Scan, CRS Master-MEL 80/90 by Carl ZEISS, Schwind-ESIRIS /AMARIS so on n so forth). Patients might not feel much difference in Wavefront guided / Topography guided-Custom treatments unless there are significant HIGHER ORDER aberrations in your eye (which is only rarely a case).

So just an "ASPHERIC profile Lasik" (also sometimes called as WAVEFRONT-"OPTIMIZED" Lasik) is ALL what is actually required in MOST CASES for a decently clear vision without glasses (to reduce majority of the confusion). But If there are a significant amount of higher order aberrations in your eye, then Corneal Wavefront / TOPOGRAPHY-guided Customized treatment can give you a better, crisper and sharper vision than Aspheric-Lasik.

Q2. What is Blade-Free Lasik / Femto-Lasik ?

The ONLY difference in Femto Lasik is that, we use FEMTOSECOND LASER to create the "Flap", instead of the Routine Microkerstome Blade . That is why it is called Bladeless. (For eg. Intralase is the Femto-laser from the company Abbott and they call their femto flap creation as I-Lasik. Visumax is Femto laser from Carl ZEISS, Wavelight FS-200 (ALCON) and some others Femtosecond laser platforms like Lensx-Alcon, Catalys-Optomedica, Victus-Technolas B&L and so on, which are actually used for Femto-Cataract surgery or FLACS). The Flap in a Femto-Lasik is STILL DEFINITELY MADE (although not by a blade but by the Femto laser) and it will always be there on the Cornea (and so will remain the minimal chances of all the flap related complications which are mentioned everywhere on the internet, although theoretically slightly less, when the flap is made by laser as compared to Microkeratome Blade, THATS ALL). Finally after making the flap by Femto Laser, rest of the whole procedure is still carried out by the Excimer Laser(Lasik-Laser) only.

Because just to create the Flap, another altogether new laser, the "Femto-laser" comes into the picture, the cost goes almost 3 fold.

Q3. What is Flapless Lasik / FLEX / SMILE ?

The ALL-FEMTO (NO EXCIMER & NO FLAP LASIK) called SMILE (SMall "I"ncision "L"enticule "E"xtraction) which is a type of "F"emtolaser based "L"enticule "EX"traction (FLEX), is Definitely a revolutionary and the latest technique of refractive surgery which corrects the glasses number by cutting a highly accurate Intralamellar lenticule by the Femto-laser, within the thickness of upper half of the Cornea, which is dissected within the layers of cornea by special instruments and removed out of it by a small 20-30 degree (2.5-3.5 mm) incision (as compared to a nearly 300 degree circular cut of 21-24 mm in case of a Lasik-Flap, whether made by microkeratome-blade or Femto-Laser) thus removing the refractive error WITHOUT DOING ANY LASIK PROCEDRURE BY THE EXCIMER LASER altogether !

This revolutionary technology is no doubt the FUTURE of refractive surgery, but the cost is 4-5 times than that of routine Excimer-Lasik and this technology is still not freely available in all lasik centres as it requires more expertise and a specific setup of laser equipment. Majority centres still do some form of Conventional Lasik only and not SMILE. Currently this technology is patented by company CARL-ZEISS by the name RELEX-SMILE (but all the others FEMTOSECOND laser company platforms are in pipeline of developing their own some sort of SMILE softwares, which should be available in the next few years by most companies)

But Remember. SMILE cannot treat "PLUS" number and CAN'T DO CUTOMISED TREATMENTS as of yet ! (So it might not give you "extra fine" vision or 6/5 vision but generally you will be able to reach a normal vision of 6/6 without glasses most of the times which is comparable to that of Aspheric-profile Lasik)

Q 4. Is Lasik painful? Is any injection given? Will my eye have a pad or dressing after Lasik?

Lasik is a totally PAINLESS procedure. Of course there is some tightening sensation and transient loss of vision along with a buzzing sound of Microkeratome pass for only a few seconds when suction is built up on the cornea by a ring to cut the Flap, which is actually very "easily tolerated" if the patient just relaxes the eye, opens the eyes widely and doesnt squeeze or move the eye when the flap is being cut. When the actual laser procedure is being performed there is some chattering noise of the Excimer laser shots falling on the cornea which is again painless. If the patient just keeps looking at the Green-Red blinking target light ignoring the other lights & other sounds, the whole procedure will be complete within approx 20 mins. The whole surgery is done by using just anaesthetic drops. There is no injection or eyepad whatsoever.

Q5. What if i move my eye unknowingly during laser procedure ? will it harm my eye?

There is generally an eye tracker incorporated in most laser matchines which will automatically detect any GROSS misalignment from your eye and the laser will stop firing. But still as far as finer eye movements are concerned, the laser might keep firing till the time the eye tracker shows it is engaged. So patients are instructed to just keep looking CONSTANTLY and absolutely straight into the TARGET RED-GREEN LIGHT without making ANY eye movements once the laser starts firing.

Remember The laser cannot see ! Its only the patient who has to consistently see the target blinking RED-GREEN laser light in order to let the laser work accurately. The more the eye movements, the more inaccurate laser shots are automatically fired, the more the chances of slight residual number remaining after the procedure, thats all.

Rest no harm can be done to the eye as such. Lasik in itself is one of the safest, most gratifying and highly accurate laser guided surgery "ever designed by the human hands".

Q6. What is the success rate of the surgery? Any guarantee that 100% of number will be removed?

LASIK has more than 98-99% success rate. Of course no one in the world would give 100% success rate Guarantee esp. if your number is more than 5 dioptre (generally the aim is to correct around 90-95% of your power by the matchine, depending upon some technical data and normogram derrived protocols in every company laser platform. So theres always a slight chance of .25 or .5 number remaining after surgery as your glasses number goes higher than 5 dioptres. But even if that slight number is left after surgery (which is not the case most of the times), you will generally NOT REQUIRE IT and you will be PRACTICALLY OFF THE GLASSES for good. (0.25 or 0.5 glasses number is present in almost half the world's population. This doesnt mean that half of the people of this planet wear glasses all the time !! )

Q7. When is a good time to get my lasik done?

Generally after the age of 18-19 years, if your number is stable for the last two or three 6-monthly visits and your ocular surface and corneal parameters are detected to be within normal limits, Lasik can be safely done on your eyes.

Q8. What are the tests required before Lasik?

For Pre-Lasik evaluation, you should discontinue wearing your soft contact lenses ideally for 3-4 days and certain tests like corneal thickness (Pachymetry) and corneal curvature mapping (Topography Orbscan / Pentacam / Sirius etc) are done. An intra ocular pressure measurement & detailed fundus examination should also to be ideally done before lasik, to rule out any weak areas (WWP areas / Lattice degenerations) in your peripheral retina which may or may not require some other kind of laser treatment (Argon-Barrage Laser) a few weeks before lasik surgery.

Q9. What are SBK lasik & PRK?

SBK Lasik (sometimes called ZED-Lasik) is Sub-Bowman Keratomeliusis which is recommended for thinner corneas (where your corneal pachymetry values may be less than 510-520 microns, or you have a very high number to be ablated) which requires some special thinner caliber-plate Microkeratome blades which make a thinner corneal flap of 85-90 microns instead of a routine 125-135 micron flap which needs little more expertise to handle n operate theoretically. PRK or Photo-Refractive Keratectomy is a procedure where eximer laser ablasion is carried out directly over the cornea after scrapping off the corneal epithelium (top most layer of corneal cells) without making a flap if your cornea is extremely thin and you still want excimer laser to be done. The epithelium takes 3-4 days to regenerate fully and till that time a bandage contact lens is put on your cornea post-PRK which is removed after 3-4 days to reduce pain in the eye and enhance corneal epithelial regeneration). PRK is generally "less well tolerated" than Lasik due to much more post operative pain and discomfort (esp for first 3-5 days). but then it is still a great option whenever flap creation is not advisable.

Q10. Will my vision improve after Lasik?

A big NO.

Vision STAYS THE SAME after lasik as it was earlier with the glasses. For eg. If you were able to read only 4 lines in the vision chart all throughout your life with your glasses, you will still be able to read till 4 lines only post lasik also, and NOT BEYOND THAT ! Lasik just removes your Glasses Power THATS ALL !! (although they say that Topo-Guided Customised treatments can give you a 6/5 vision or beyond normal vision, but again, there are no guarantees still)

Q11. Can the number come back after Lasik? Can lasik be re-done again if number comes back after few years ?

Whatever number once corrected by laser STAYS CORRECTED. But if supposing your number was increasing just before your lasik was done, the additional number (which was supposed to come over and beyond your original number at that time which was corrected by laser) may start to show up few years after lasik again from zero power onwards. Though It may or may not be significant enough and you may avoid using it if you dont feel the need for it.

Lasik Re-treatment may not be possible in every case that has landed up in glasses number again after few years post lasik (unless your pre-lasik corneal pachymetry was extra ordinarily good as confirmed on your pre-lasik records). There is always a possibility that in or after pregnancy, your number might tend to come back slightly in some cases. Again you may or may not require it.

And of course there is NO DENIAL that YOU WILL DEFINITELY REQUIRE "READING GLASSES" for near work AFTER THE AGE OF 40 once you get rid of your distance number by lasik or SMILE.

Q12. What all and till what time ill need to take precautions & put eye drops after lasik? Can i go to work next day after lasik? Will my eye be painful or look red after surgery?

You can be back to work after a couple of days of rest but you should gradually start building up your hours of work (esp. for Screen work you might need to take more frequent breaks initially for few days ,whenever your eyes feel tired). Few minor precautions like not to rub the eye, no splashing of water directly inside eyes, no swimming and no eye make-up for 1-2 months (as the "flap" which is made, actually takes that much time for adhering to its full strength to the residual corneal bed surface). These precautions are to be kept definitely for a much smaller time in SMILE (as there is no flap and the corneal cut size is also one tenth as compared to lasik). Similarly, the eyedrops will continue for 1-2 months as well. Sometimes Lubricating eydrops may need to be put in some minimum dosage for as long as 3-6 months, depending on person to person & work profile as there is DEFINITELY SOME AMOUNT OF TEMPORARY DRY EYES FOR A FEW MONTHS REGARDLESS OF THE TYPE OF PROCEDURE YOU UNDERGO as the corneal nerves are anyways cut , (whether a Flap or No flap) which takes few months to regenerate properly (although theoretically stated much less in SMILE procedure literature from the last couple of years). And of course your eye might look a little red and feel little tired for a few days after Lasik which is transient and resolves soon with eyedrops.

Q13. What are the complications i may face after lasik?

There is always a chance of flap related complications in case of Lasik (not in SMILE) if you rub your eye or start eye makeup too soon in the immediate post operative period (in the form of flap displacement & Corneal / Flap interface swelling and related complications, if post operative instructions are not followed correctly). Mild discomfort and dryness are transient and resolves soon with eyedrops within few weeks to few months.

Q14. Are there any long term side effects of lasik?

Dryness feeling should resolve in a few months with eyedrops. Most important long term side effect of lasik is the chance of cornea becoming excessively thin and start losing its shape with the resurgence of glasses number, if pre-operative assessment before lasik was less than Ideal. In most cases only slight number reappears which might require glasses again to give good vision. Very very rarely the cornea may start losing its aspherical shape slowly and start becoming ECTACTIC. To strengthen a weak and ectatic cornea (if detected in its early stage many years after lasik) there is a special procedure called as C3R (Corneal Collagen Crosslinking with Riboflavin). Sometimes C3R is performed along with Lasik in the same sitting for high-risk Lasik patients. This is called Lasik-PLUS procedure.

Q15. I have very high number. Any other option if lasik cant be done?

If you are having very high number or a very thin cornea which may have a chance of ECTASIA post-lasik, which renders you UNFIT FOR LASIK on pre-lasik workup, then there are specially designed contact lenses which can be permanently fitted by a special surgery in between your original lens of the eye and the back of your cornea. These lenses are called as Intra Collamer Lenses (available both in Indian and imported brands). Although they are pretty costly but they ensure that no procedure damages your cornea. And they are REVERSIBLE too (UNLIKE LASIK or SMILE which are IRREVERSIBLE).

Also the original and clear lens of your eye can be removed just like in a cataract surgery and a specially calculated low power intra-ocular lens implant may be fitted in your eye to practically remove your glasses power if it is extremely high.

Q16. I want to get rid of reading glasses too. Is there any option ?

There is an option of CLEAR LENS EXTRACTION with MULTIFOCAL LENS IMPLANTS, and other Refractive Techniques like CONDUCTIVE KERATOPLASTY / SUPRACOR / PRYSBEYOND or Laser Blended Vision Surgery which are not routinely recommended in every case (discussion on which is beyond the scope of this article). It should be properly discussed with your operating eye surgeon as these laser techniques are still in sort of experimental stages only and have limited results.

The Cognitive Dissonance Post

Something interesting is happening nowadays which reflects a broad sociological shift. A wave of cognitive dissonance has drifted over the finance community, as it has with society at large. Narcissism has become the terminology used to describe the newly elected President while protesters ironically take to the street amplifying their own agency in the pointless exercise of postmortem "resistance". Muslim rights have suddenly become a point of contention over a temporary Visa ban after we had 16 years of two separate presidencies waging econopolitically motivated wars (killing millions of Muslims) on the behalf of "liberation". We have protesters bemoaning Trump business interests in four Islamic states which did not receive travel restrictions (particularly terror state sponsor KSA) while ignoring the long standing corrupting influence KSA holds over their own champions and political ideology.

Cognitive dissonance has also found its way into objective measures of economic output. Despite surges in leading indicators such as consumer/business confidence, UST 2s30s and evident timing of mean reversion in global econ (esp China) and energy prices, participants continue to doubt the idea of a macroprudential leading Fed (versus internals) even when Chairwoman Yellen explicitly relayed this detail. Lastly, we have an administration which has all but signaled that it will be measured by quantitative economic measures and the stock market and will rotate policies such as to take ownership of these numbers. Conversely, the biggest macro risk in the world in my estimation is not explicitly political, or China, or European banks etc etc. but the idea that the Fed is both independent (as an agency) and politicized in a manner which shifts its mandate against the comfort of the market. Regardless of this detail, however, all variables lean in favor of higher US rates and passthrough effects abroad depending on the related digestion function and sincerity of the Fed.

The last piece of the puzzle lies with the relationship between dissonant "resistant agency" and actual loss of political capital. So the final question becomes, has anything changed such as to disrupt the movement and leaning in rates and probability of pro-growth economic measures? The answer is that the odds of measures being passed HAVE NOT changed, though the interpretation of how these measures affect the real economy is a question of classical (dogmatic) versus modern education.

Why policy odds have not changed and you are trading interpretation, not gridlock:

(1) Trump needs 218 votes in the house to pass a bill to the senate. He has a comfortable majority here with 245 house republicans. He can carefully select a popular representative from within the 245 to introduce the bill in congress.

(2) The senate is a bit more contentious. Trump needs 51 votes in the senate to pass a bill into law. There are 52 standing Republican senators but this includes 3 potential swing/opposition voters in McCain (AZ), Graham (SC), and Rubio (FL). There are 2 registered independent senators - Bernie Sanders (VT) and Angus King (ME). Assuming all other Republican senators vote in favor of the bill, the swing vote would be decided by the capitulation of one of the three Republican senators. Realistically, Rubio would likely capitulate given his age and Trump's popularity within his district. I have a hard time believing Graham and McCain would reject both tax reform and infrastructure, given both have voiced support for the idea in the past and tax reform is a focal issue of the party. Lastly, in case of a tie at 50 a piece, VP Pence may vote as the 51st to break the tie.

(3) Lastly, as we have seen with Modi in India, opportunity cost is a careful consideration in the minds of dissenters. The Democratic party all but entirely lacks leadership and continues to lean on older career politicians (Schumer, Pelosi, Warren) who catalyze Trump's popularity. Its hard to believe that Republicans will obstruct Trump in order to put into power a hard left alternative in 2020 - as it would be both legacy and policy suicide for the party. More likely, Republican opposition will hound the Trump admin into concessions, but will ultimately fall onto the line. This leaves the Democrats with zero recourse even if all vote in unison on legislation. Why does interpretation matter?

The single most powerful dogma in university taught economics is that of wealth effect, or the idea that consumption is highly concentrated along with financial assets and as such asset prices have a reflexive relationship with nominal output. This is particularly contentious in a world where capital share of output continues to grow while labor share (in essence median purchasing power) continues to decline. My research indicates that this year we will see wealth effect dogma tested for the first time in over a decade, and perhaps the first time intentionally by the most powerful American policy originator. I setup google authenticator app for our frequent google accounts 2 step verification. for sms verification less convenient and less secure in which each time informs PRC surveillance my logon. GFW heavily blocked my operation first place, once lagged me more than half hour to load an authentication code page, forced me to retreat mid way for dinner. but next day I did it again without pains. yesterday dabbog.com backend web app updated by godaddy hosting automatically, but it broke and halt the site. when I tried to fix it, I again heavily blocked. loading loops, irresponsible webpage, etc. I left its breakdown open possible vulnerable well known and went jog after dinner. in the night after dinner, I fixed it with less human pests, while again my restored sites less accessible on my dorm internet, but web proxy testifies its soundness. my facing dorm room has new residents. a young guy frequently loose its door and shown himself on the deeper bed busy in the leaking light. I doubting if he welcome visitors or exchange of neighborhood, or just convenient to spy me. but my internet these days actually under harsher surveillance and intervenes amid. but this week not all sad, I sorted our google voice assets and prepared to make good use of them. I deploy more google or google apps accounts for maintain their gvoice in use. now salary will arrive days, God dad, grant me freedom to recharge our accounts for smooth operative. grant me financial freedom for coming laundry bill to woman in dorm canteen, ￥200. first dreamt in highly dense space, human crowd with dense snakes. those baby snakes in every atom of air, or liquid, like spray. that's quite shockingly frightening. they didn't bite but terrifying. then dreamt my son and his mom's family. I likely returned from long journey and urged his mom to restore normal life. the woman and her mom recognized our previous marriage hopelessly sank. they arranged extraordinary a meal to farewell. when I prepare tea, I found many large strong black ants busy moving in the jar neck. its again such a shocking scene I almost lose clinch to the jar. they all likely concerns the first time handover of my laundry deal with dorm canteen woman. last week when I visited my son and brought him to shower in public shared bathroom, I found my dirty clothes a week there was not washed. the small woman several times threatened not to wash my clothes even I offered her monthly ￥150 many months but recently due to credit crisis I asked permission to indebted her. so this time I thought ripe to be more independent. I informed my son the new expense and he agreed. returned to dorm, I headed to dorm canteen where the woman in charge of preparing food materials right there for ordering. I discussed the possibility to pay her to wash my clothes. she first defied, with encouragement from the executive woman, she accept my proposal of increased ￥50 to ￥200/month. last Friday dusk, before I dined there, the executive woman fetched me the washed clothes, our first deal sealed, except my payment. for penniless, I asked the woman loan me ￥200 for visiting my son weekends. then she told me my recent months bill with canteen didn't settle, for my kid brother promised to pay remote instead of me in his last year's visit now evaded by him. I previously called him to pay my online shopping but my phone number likely blacklisted and redirected. so I never knew what's going on with him. the woman said she sms my brother but never responded. I told her I visioned I lost my brother's aid but I never equipped financially to save the situation, so I didn't probe my due payment in canteen any more. the woman disliked my answer so I promised will call my brother in the night. on jogging after dinner, I buzzed my 3rd elder sister and hope she check our kid brother's status, she accepted the task. when I went to toilet for toothbrush hours later, I saw the canteen worker woman washing there. I told her I will pay her as soon as I get my salary this month, ie. 2 weeks later. she replied no hurry cordially. God dad, I know it will be OK after all, but the situation now really draining. this week I also try web tutorial to setup selective vpn routing to escape PRC main sites' discriminating foreign ips, but so far failed. in so many programs I benefited from online communities discussions, now I have to cope it on my own for solution. I tried to contact vpn support team but out of their service scope and denied help. At first I lingered gladly in tiny houses, likely with my 2nd elder sister, likely in Japan. then found one of my 3 smartphones missing. in panic I searched everywhere. then using its GPS location found the stealer address. the 2 phone number is mathematical linked: sim card 1 number is added to number 2 card. I really can't afford losing them. then many details on exact secret on the phones and their numbers. just in panic I woke up and recognized in reality my phones all on my desk intact. back to dream I still felt the panic painful. yesterday is fruitful, I published monthly blog release. I watched amazon TV and close watch small woman unstable emotionally broke her husband career and her own life which is totally reckless and hopeless in ruins. I wondered bitch in my life, my son's mom, desperate to hurt, means what for her destiny. the tiny dog steps by steps went insane. my son after a day didn't enable his indoor WIFI, likely under his mad mother's ban. last week I got a surprising gain from QRRS, my once and long time employer, ￥1000. I immediately renew woz's 8 domains with it, left 3 expensive domains for next renewal will costs near ￥2000. God, dad, its a bit dearer since last year, but godaddy China office girl actually privileged me by contacting me and helping me finish the order with coupon unavailable public. dad God, please allow us owning our namespace as family heritage lasting millenniums.
