Just realized it's been quite a while since I uploaded any prompts so here's a little vegaspete headcannon post kpts where after vegas is out of the hospital and fully recovered, be was just as involved in the mafia as he was before cause Porsche couldn't handle all that unprompted violence therefore it was mostly vegas (now with his loml pete) taking care of the minor family business.
But here's the thing, as amazing and unmatched vegas and pete are at what they do in the business, they are also unsatiably hungry for each all the time, and will pounce at any given chance. So before every mission they are involved in must be proceeded but thorough fucking love making cause "it is a dangerous plan, if this is the last one that we survive then I must show vegas how I love him porsche." "If I'm gonna die because of your stupid plan, kinn, might as well die after having my favourite meal"
Which usually ended up making their arrival very late, the last minute in most cases. Although once the murder boyfriends arrive it's only one way this goes for their rivals, it is down towards the depths of hell for anyone who has any doubts, but kinn and porsche had enough after more near death experiences in one year than they would like to admit, so eventually it became common procedure to tell vegaspete the plan would start 30 mins prior to when it actually should.
(Vegaspete still managed to get there late cause they are the smartest of the bunch and figured it out after 2 very timely early entries)

Okay I’ve been keeping this question to myself for quite a bit, because I didn’t know if you already have something planned for that or not. Not to mention I’ve been sending in a lot of asks lately. But I really must know if eating human meat is really the only thing that keeps spider demons from starving long term.
We know from Syntax’s experiments that spider demons can survive up to 2 weeks if they eat raw meat as a substitute for human flesh. So I wonder if drinking human blood has the same effect as eating a human. If so, then Y/N will definitely steal blood bags from the local hospital, don’t tell me they won’t do it. They were considering bringing innocent humans for Syntax to munch on, stealing a couple bags of blood isn’t really a question of “Should I do this?” But more so “How can I get away with this?”.
They’re the type to risk going to prison with dumb “Don’t do that” shenanigans. I mean, this entire fic is proof of that statement.
Y/N get your experimenting gears ready, you’ll need an escape route in case Syntax tries to eat you after he’s had a taste of your blood.
Wait a minute I didn’t think this through.
Their last thoughts, probably. Not necessarily from this specific event, just in general.
Ps. Poor Mk is going to have a heart attack when he gets reception on his phone.

Ooh I was afraid this question might come up and I've been struggling to find and answer that doesn't spoil anything BUT
Yes, I've kinda headcannoned that the spider demons do have a fierce taste for human flesh, whether that is preference or necessary for their survival, you'll find out. But honestly, regarding you, the reader, they'll definitely be in a tough spot. The demons definitely crave humans(although the urge is easily submerged), and the thought of sacrificing their own kind/stealing blood bags has definitely crossed readers mind. But I dont think they'll ever act on those thoughts, which are- for the most part- purely thoughts spawned from fear.
They were a nurse once and going against their code, which is to preserve the lives of as many as possible, would mess with their head too much. They try not to think about it
Mostly the spider demons can take care of themselves, but if I went further into detail I'd be spoiling it for you guysss <33333

Parent/Mentor Swap AU
The swaps:
Aaarrrgghh – Bular
Blinky – Nomura
Barbara – Strickler
Yeah so this was meant to just be a short explanation but it’s not so please enjoy my 2500ish word backstory for this AU. (Jim will still be the Trollhunter.)
Bular
Shortly before the Battle of Killahead Bridge Bular is talking with his father about their plans for their future kingdom. In the course of the discussion Gunmar reveals that he wants to eliminate all humans and bring about a literal Eternal Night. (Gunmar has talked about the Eternal Night before but Bular assumed it was a metaphor.)
Bular doesn’t like humans per say. He definitely agrees that their numbers need to be reduced. He certainly wants them to be cast down into the dust and subjected to the rule of trollkind…
But he doesn’t want them gone.
The thought has frankly never occurred to him.
Humans are pests but they are tasty and create useful things. The world will be worse off without them.
The second point is even worse. Bular may be rash at times but he is not a fool. Trolls may not survive under the sun but they won’t survive without it either. Bular has traveled far and wide recruiting trolls for Gunmar’s cause. He’s seen what the Northern Lands become during the winter when for a time the sun ceases to rise.
Based of off that he has a fairly good idea of what the surface will become like under the Eternal Night and it is not desirable. There is no point in taking over the surface only to decimate it.
He tries to argue these points but his father will not listen. Eventually shutting the conversation down entirely with a warning snarl.
Bular is left uneasy. He wonders if it is wise for Gunmar to be the ruler anymore. He wonders if there might be more substance to the rumors of his father’s madness then he thought.
As the War comes to a head and the Battle of Killahead Bridge draws near, Bular tries to convince his father to change his mind. He receives only growls, sneers and a couple beat downs for his trouble.
Eventually he decides that other measures must be taken.
He considers starting an uprising but he doesn’t want to kill his father. Eventually he learns of Deya’s plan to banish Gunmar into the Darklands and decides to assist her. He thinks that spending some time in a world without humans or the sun might bring Gunmar to his senses.
Unfortunately Gunmar learns of this.
Bular, not wanting to fight his father, flees. Gunmar can’t leave to pursue his son, so he sends a detachment of soldiers lead by his most trusted general Aaarrrgghh after him.
Centuries later he comes to Arcadia. He is not accepted by the local troll population for a very long time. They don’t believe he’s really changed sides. It also doesn’t help that unlike Cannon!Aaarrrgghh he is not a pacifist. (He has sworn off eating humans however.) He eventually wins them over by helping the Kanjigar protect Trollmarket. He’s brought into the market for the first time because his energy drops to dangerously low levels (he’s completely catatonic when Kanjigar finds him) because he hasn’t been near a heartstone for centuries and doesn’t eat humans anymore. (I headcannon that eating humans allows for trolls to live away from a heartstone because humans produce a similar energy but in very small amounts).
 Aaarrrgghh
Aaarrrgghh’s origin story is the same as in cannon: he was given to Gunmar by Usurna to be his champion.
In this story he doesn’t switch sides at the battle of Killahead. Seeing the destruction wrought by humans on uninvolved trolls leads him to believe that Gunmar is in the right about wiping them out. When the battle of Kilahead happens, he and his detachment of soldiers become the only Gum Gums outside of the Darklands (or rather the only known Gumm-Gumms) because they were hunting for Bular at the time.
Aaarrrgghh works rather loosely with the changelings as well as doing “recruiting” of more trolls to the Gumm-Gumm cause. (More like threatening into obedience).
Aaarrrgghh comes to Arcadia when he learns of the Trollmarket and Trollhunter’s presence there.
Aaarrrgghh’s presence combined with his small battalion results in more skirmishes with Trollmarket than in cannon. Bular and Draal work with Kanjigar to protect trolls that go out to scavenge against the Gumm-Gumms. The Janus Order has their hands full keeping the constant fighting secret.
Aaarrrgghh generally stays in Barbara’s basement which has a tunnel connecting it to the sewer system. (Disguised with magic so Trollmarket trolls and maintenance workers don’t find it.)
He often leaves the window open and tries to lure cats in for him to eat. This is how he meets Toby.
Toby happens to be looking for one of their missing cats. He finds paw prints leading to the open basement window. He attempts to get in the window but is shoved back by a pole. (Aaarrrgghh has been told repeatedly to not eat the neighbors since this will draw to much scrutiny and they will have to find him a new den if he does.) This distracts him from the cat as he is now more interested in learning about the strange something living in the basement of what he thought was an unoccupied house. He starts asking Aaarrrgghh (who he can’t see) questions about himself and Aaarrrgghh (who isn’t quite sure what to do in this situation) awkwardly responds.
Eventually Toby falls into the habit of visiting Aaarrrgghh’s basement window in the evening and jabbering to him about his day. He brings him little treats and will occasionally ask him questions.
Aaarrrgghh ends up growing fond of him and decides that while he doesn’t like humans in general this one is okay and he starts making plans to keep Toby alive after Gunmar returns.
  Blinky (Bartholomew Georgiou)
Blinky is given as a whelp to the Gum-Gumms by his brother Dictacious (who was working as a spy for Gunmar at the time) and made into a changeling. He’s slightly older than Barbara.
Blinky works at the Arcadia museum. He is in the habit of swapping out old, rare books with exact replicas so he can horde the originals in his secret library.
He has an incredible collection of books from many ages and places. He guards them zealously. Entering his library without permission is suicide and generally ends in the offender being blown to pieces by one of Blinky’s booby traps.
He has very few books of Trollish origin and would do just about anything for more.
 Nomura
Nomura was stolen by the Gumm-Gumm’s when she was a child but her parents survived the initial raid and several decades later they are able to rescue her. Her time with the Gumm-Gumm’s have left its mark, however, and she no longer fit the other trolls in her clan. Her family eventually moves to Dwoza Trollmarket.
She doesn’t really fit in with the younglings her age there either but she makes friends with the archivist. He eventually takes her on as his apprentice and when he passes she takes over as the Trollmarket librarian. She takes her job very seriously and does not tolerate loss or abuse of books.
She becomes friends with Draal (due to having similar temperaments) and later she becomes the first troll to truly accept Bular in the Arcadia Trollmarket.
 Barbara
Barbara is a 700(ish) year old changeling (equivalent of 40-50 human years) and the head of the Janus Order. She’s still a doctor and has the most knowledge of how troll and human bodies work of any one person on the planet. This is partially due to how long she’s been alive but also to the large number of often highly unethical experiments she’s carried out on both species.
Barbara meets James Sturges when she’s working on retrieving a piece of the Killahead Bridge in Maine (officially she’s just a nurse at the hospital named Janet). They hit it off and start dating. Barbara finds his expectations for how she’s supposed to act a little annoying but it suits the role she’s currently playing so she goes along with them.
Then James makes the mistake of breaking one of Barbara’s rules and goes through some of her off-limits stuff, so she kills him and disposes of the body.
She assumes that’s the end of that but about 4 months later when she tries to shift into troll form she can’t. Aside from a curse, there is one thing that will prevent a changeling from shifting back into a troll. A trip to the local pharmacy confirms it: she’s pregnant.
This is certainly a dilemma.
Until she’s done with the pregnancy (one way or another) she’s trapped in her human form.
In the past she would have had an abortion without a second thought, but with Gunmar’s release and the destruction of the human race drawing closer and closer this will probably be her last real opportunity to experience pregnancy. So out of pure scientific curiosity she decides to go through with it.
Quite a few arrangements have to be made but soon she’s on her way to her hidden cabin out in a remote area of Alaska.
The pregnancy and birth go well and soon she is the mother to a little boy. She names him James after his father, figuring that will keep her from getting attached. She plans to keep him for two or three years to observe his growth and see if any changeling traits manifest after which point she’ll drop him off at an orphanage or something. As far as the Janus Order can tell human-changeling unions produce completely human children, but one can never beat first hand observation and experience.
She initially chalks up the warm and mushy feelings she’s getting to hormones. It isn’t until Jim is about two and a half that she’s tucking him into bed one night and Jim gives her a sleepy smile and leans into her hand that she realizes that she really truly loves him.
This was not in the plan.
After Jim is asleep, Barbara calmly goes outside and devotes an hour to cursing. (One of the perks of living centuries is that she’s had ample opportunity to amass an extensive collection of swear words.) After that she feels a lot calmer and more ready to look at the situation in a rational manner.
The fact of the matter is that she genuinely cares about Jim. She’s developed feelings for people in the past but it’s always been something she’s been able to pass off as part of her cover. (She still misses her pirate crew sometimes). Jim however is not. Barbara has a lot of enemies. If Jim’s relationship to Barbara is discovered he will never know peace and if Barbara keeps Jim around it will be discovered.
So it’s with a strangely heavy heart that Barbara realizes that this changes nothing: the best thing for Jim is for her to give him up.
On his third birthday she gives him some tea that will make sure he stays soundly asleep. Barbara can’t go through the legal process of giving up a child because: A. Jim does not exist in any legal manner and B. As changelings are everywhere and Barbara is well known (infamous really) there is a very real possibility that someone would find out. So she leaves him on the doorstep of a foster family she has carefully vetted out as responsible and trustworthy and keeps watch from some hidden cameras until she knows he has been found and is going to be taken care of. With him are a note with his date of birth and first name and a necklace with a pendant carved from Barbara’s own stone (Barbara isn’t very good at magic but she was able to enchant it with a simple protection and luck spell.).
Once she’s satisfied that Jim will be cared for she goes on her way and forces herself to not look back.
Nine years later she moves to Arcadia and three years after that she is very shocked to find a found add describing the Amulet of Daylight of all things. She calls the number but is told that the amulet was already claimed. Further investigation reveals that the amulet has chosen its first human bearer (or so everyone thinks). Barbara feels a bit of a twinge in her heart when she learns that the new Trollhunter is about the same age her son would be and that his name is Jim but doesn’t think too much of it. There are a lot of Jims in the world after all and she left hers in Alaska.
She immediately arranges a very minor “accident” as an excuse to make contact with his father in order to keep an eye on him.
 Walter
Walter Strickler is a history teacher at University of Alaska Anchorage. He enjoys his life and his job but there’s one thing lacking: he’s always wanted a child.
He’s had a few relationships over the years but none have ever stuck. He’s also of the opinion that he shouldn’t go into a relationship specifically with the end goal of having a kid.
He weighs his options and decides that he’s financially very stable at the moment. His work hours are consistent and he can afford to cut back a little; especially since his stock investments have been doing well in the recent years. All things considered: he decides he’s in a place that he can be a single parent.
He begins looking into adoption.
Eventually he finds Jim. As Jim has no parents or relations on record, the adoption is relatively simple.
Jim is very shy at first (having spent his life so far out in the woods with only his Mom for company). Eventually he warms up to Walter and then becomes very clingy. Living with only one other person for his early years and then being left behind has left Jim with some attachment issues.
Walter ends up taking him to his classes where he sits in the back and doodles while Walter lectures. He’s a rather quiet kid (most of the time) so this works out well. Walter’s students adopt him as the class mascot.
When Jim is five, right before he’s ready to start Kindergarten, Walter’s mom falls ill. Walter is an only child, so after some debate he ends up moving back to his hometown of Arcadia, California to care for her.
He meets Nancy Domzalski through the chest club and through her Jim meets Toby. The two boys become fast friends.
When Walter’s mother passes away four years later, he decides to stay in Arcadia. Jim is well settled and Walter enjoys his job teaching history at Arcadia High School.
Things are going well.
Then his son finds a strange blue amulet in the canal. It looks fairly expensive so Walter puts a found add up and assumes the owner will give him a call. Then settles down to work on grading papers.
He is definitely not prepared when his son, sitting across the table from him, reads an incantation off the amulet and starts floating.
He is even less prepared when a large stony monster the size of a large grizzly barges into their house.
Bular attempts to explain the situation to the father-son duo but they both faint from terror.
Not quite sure what else to do he wraps them up in a tarp and takes them to Trollmarket. He figures Vendal can sort it out.

Airplane gets Ghosted~
Brain: :D
Me: Oh no, what did you do.
Brain: Let’s make another Airplane Harem~
Me. 🥺 why are you like this?!
Note: Inspired by A Crowd of Evil Spirits Lines Up to Confess to Me; pretty funny horror unlimited flow story, with some good scares that leave ya at the edge of your seat. (I really love the Protagonist, so good and pure and I headcannon as Aro-Ace~) So anyways, for those who don’t know, in the novel, the Protagonist Gu Wuji is a genuinely good person, an aspiring actor on hard times who suddenly gets pulled into this horror survival game. Here is the thing; while for others this is a truly cursed and terrible thing, for the protag this is just a regular day, just with some people who need some help; he will help Ghosts just as much as he would help a human.
Ghost: *being Scary*
Gu Wuji: Oh no, let me help you? *smiles*
Ghost: *either a blushing mess, happy to be helped, or can feel how strong this human is and is the one scared instead*
So yeah, here this man goes, bewitching everyone he meets, especially terrifying Ghosts who want him to die so they can stay together forever 🙃 Lucky he is so charming, and that with every Instance cleared, he can get points to get items and information/hints from the store.
And then I though about Airplane being in this position and I just grinned.
So, to preface this, I’m going to go on how I think Airplane has been raised in this AU.
Basically, since our favorite writer was young, Airplane was pretty much raised by ghosts. With two increasingly furious and arguing parents who couldn’t care less about him, they don’t notice at all how weird their kid is, not wanting to be reminded of old memories. So thus start’s Airplane’s growing up more comfortable with the headless car-crash victim who helps him know when his bullies are around then actual living people who only seem to try and tear each other apart more then most dead ever want to. Not to say he hasn’t met some mean dead too, but all they seem to care about is just scaring him off so they can be alone. Which, fair.
Just... Airplane is still Airplane, but for him, normal is dealing with the Ghostly Neighbor who will at least hear him out most of the time, especially since most Living people are assholes.
(Also, Airplane will have some of the strength that Gu Wuji is known for, but he mostly just has a really good head for intelligence, logistics, plots, and strategy... Let’s just say Airplane has seen and been through some shit in his younger years.)
I am also being a gremlin and making Shen Jiu and Yue Qi be the friends Airplane makes in middle school, Shen Jiu being superstitious as fuck and Yue Qi going along with it, even as he because more WTF the longer they are friends with Airplane and fully realize ‘Shit, ghost are fucking real, nope, nope, nope.’ It is a beautiful, disaster of a trio and their friendship is eternal... (even if Shen Jiu will never forgive/hold over Yue Qi for leaving him with the ghost in the fucking burned down Mansion, even if Airplane fixed it; apparently it had something to do with their previous incarnations?)
So yeah, these guys are released out into the world, where Airplane writes really good, if bloody dramas, asking his Ghost Friends if he can use some of their stories and them either not caring or excited as they give him the go ahead. (The Police have some questions...)
Sure, he writes some bad porn on the side, but with some of his Ghost friends able to beta read for him, Airplane is able to stay a float nice and easy, if still anxious every time he has to pay the rent because human interaction is so hard when you’re dealing with the living. (Don’t have to worry about meeting someone’s eyes if they’re gouged out after all)
And then we get to the Instances :) (Now, besides the first one that does happen First, these others could happen with one or two between them.)
First Instance(Novice): The Traitor’s Secret~
The fresh new Players, with some older ones here, is part of a Merchant Caravan that they just have to ensure gets from point A to point B, and just live. Simple mission as this is a Novice Instance for innocents pulled in. And it would have even remained a simple one, only having to deal with the wondering dead that are manageable, as they have plenty of supplies to ration and work with, if one of the Older Players wasn’t here with ulterior motives.
See, this ‘Senior’ managed to buy information that there is a great item that can be obtained; the thing is, one must betray their comrades in order to get it, with the first betrayal making the difficulty rise from the Novice to Intermediate immediately, as this as awakened a terrible Boss.
It probably would have gone smoothly (maybe....) but here is the thing.
As it turns out, ‘Senior’ didn’t buy enough information; after The First Betrayal, the Boss Ghost will sneakily become a part of the Party, acting much like a helpful NPC when really he is a trap; if the Betrayer betrays him, it is game over.
But the game is different this time; No one expects Airplane, who has the ability and instincts of a cockroach who was completely willing to hug a Ghost’s (well, NPC’s) thighs
Cue Shang Qinghua who is very confused, because after he sneakily becomes part of the group, this human has decided to cling to him of all people, the Creepy/Grumpy NPC, and not his fellow group members...
Airplane grows on SQH like a fugus, makes amazingly funny commentary, and even tells some interesting stories. On Airplane’s part, Shang Qinghua feels not only like the strongest guy here, but also the most reliably competent...
Not to mention he feels comfortable to be around, which is weird since Airplane doesn’t usually feel to comfortable with the living~ (ha ha ha, maybe because he’s a NPC? Though he still freezes with those guys too...)
As it is, because ‘Senior’ needs to betray everyone, he tries to get Airplane, who, again, is still a very, very morally ambiguous guy, sees this guy trying to kill him, and simply pushes them instead into a throng of the undead.
Airplane: Ah, sorry for the terrible sight Senior brother, but he was trying to kill us? Are you alright? Do you want a massage?
Shang Qinghua is incredulous, but becomes more charmed as time passes.
(Remembers, how his martial brothers, people who he had lived and worked beside all his life, so easily sold him out, trying to kill him only for him to suffer a fate worse then death. It was only so much time was passed, after having to spy and betray those who betrayed him before he finally had the release of death; but even then, his resentment was too strong, even the blood sealed onto his jade hairpin filled with resentment.)
It is this item he gives to Airplane, blushing as he does as he says if the other ever needs help, to just use the pin and it won’t lead him wrong.
When Airplane leaves the instance, he gets a system notice about the points he got, increased because of the Instance’s sudden level increase, as well as information on the item he received from Shang Qinghua
Shang Qinghua’ Hairpin: A Hairpin with deadly secrets, belong to A Spy with a vast network of information, be able to uncover hidden secrets with ease and learn anything you wish of with loyal shades at your command,
Level One: Summon two shades to gather information. (Each level up gets you another shade to do your bidding)
(He only has the information from level one, but once he levels it up, this is what else it can do)
Level 3: Your shades can now help you escape dicey situations
Level 5: Able to uncover the deadly poison hidden in the hollow of it, this deadly substance can poison Living and Dead both
Level: 7: Able to use the Hairpin like a deadly knife, the resentment enriching the wood to be harder and sharper then ever before.
(Past Level Seven, must full on stab someone in a vital place to discover this ability: Able to release one ensured fatal attack from the Hairpin; after that, it will continue to drop to a fifty-fity chance and before renewing each Instance.)
Level 10: be able to summon Shang Qinghua, the deadly competent Spy to your side to aid you; note, he will only help as much as he likes you and you are only truly safe from him for an Hour before he gets free range to do whatever he wants.
So yeah. this is Airplane’s first instance~ It was so terrifying, having to be around so many people and freaky monsters, but he thinks he made a friend? He hopes?
(He certainly gets one heck of an admirer.)(¬‿¬)
Second Instance(Novice): The Healer’s Broken Heart
So, next Instance, Airplane finds himself in an ancient, fantasy hospital with a group half novices and novices who at least survived two or three games after this. The challenge this time is two pair up into teams of two or threes and try and treat as many ‘patients’ in the hospital as one can. First, they have to collect all the medicine they need, prepare the Nursing rooms, and then, of course, treat at least five patients each, or face death for failing.
See, the patients are sorta, kinda, Undead they need to treat as if they were living, so they Have to do things like bandaging sliced throats, sew back on sliced limbs, and drain puss and other gross gory things to give nightmares. Not to mention that they have to follow regular rules like in most hospitals, so no running in the hall, no loud sounds, things like that when their are Ghosts everywhere. (As long as someone doesn’t break the rules, the Ghosts won’t notice you.)
As Airplane is a nervous wreck around people, and with this being a bad day for his anxiety, no one but one guy is willing to partner up with him, this gentle, sweet guy called Mu Fan, who’s amazing chill affects Airplane’s own chill and helps him feel a little better about the situation.
Ha~ Mu Fan is so nice and even knows so much about all the medicines and what to do here! He’s even helpful and nice when Airplane was about to have an anxiety attack, following what Airplane warned him about not touching him, but if he could, maybe hum if he could?
Of course Airplane can’t just let the other carry him the entire way! Mu Fan is just too nice and really helped him back there, so he wants to pay back at least a little. So, being this disaster that he is, instead of thanking Mu Fan and asking him if their is anyways to pay him back, Airplane uses his Hairpin instead to see if he could help the other out.
He gets an... interesting reaction...
Apparently, Mu Fan is actually Mu Qingfang, a Boss Ghost (tho Airplane only knows the other is a ghost) of this area, who can be activated in some ways; examples, if the Players try and hurt the Patients, if Players try and kill each other in cold blood, or try and steal Medicine. Mu Qingfang’s most sincere wish is to free his patients from this cycle of pain, hopefully be free from it for good.
This is the information that Airplane gets, what Mu Qingfang has been trying to discover for years with no luck.
Airplane: QAQ Mu Qingfang is truly too good, too pure for this world, wanting to help the other ghost past on and be out of pain.
On Mu Qingfang’s part, he saw this poor, distressed man and the doctor instincts in him went on fire as he did his best to help the other with their heart demons. But he was really, extremely impressed by them with how they treated his patients, taking care of their wounds like it was nothing, joking with the decapitated head as he sewed it back on, getting a breathless laugh from the woman as she cried happy tears from it. The doctor went really gooey though with how Airplane spellbound his audience of twins who needed to be separated after their parent had sown them together, the two young (very creepy as fuck) children begging for more, distracting from the pain of having to reattach their arms in the right places one more.
(Tries not to cry when this disaster of a Man says he has to do something first before he leaves after he finishes the five patients, only to bring a true gift back as he does. Mu Qingfang has nearly given up on his poor patients ever being free from this constant cycle of pain, their Bandit Killers, for such a small, evil group, never brought to justice only for Airplane to catch them all, bringing them to the hospital so that all their grievances can be aired out and payed back once and for all. It took a bit, and Airplane accidently raised the Level of the Instance himself this time doing it, but he got all the baddies round up and incapacitated as he did.)
Mu Qingfang is ever so grateful, even as Airplane offers to help the man finish up here before he leaves, the last doctor’s visit these ghost will ever need to have. He blesses Airplane with a powerful healing ability, along with a Doctor’s kit that is full of useful supplies, refilling ever day if needed.)
So, Airplane is back in his space, cleaning his hands and body because that was still gross (but not the worse thing he has dealt with) with new points and some good prizes once more, even if he isn’t sure why the level went up all of a sudden? The Bandits honestly weren’t that hard to trick and sabotage?
Mu Qingfang’s Medical Bag
Basically, like the Hairpin, full of goodies that can do more and more OP things the higher the Level it goes (and yes, has a secret poison function as well; Now Shang Qinghua can refill the Hairpin if he ever need to :D And yes, Mu Qingfang can be summoned with an Item in the bag once he gets to Level Ten..
Same with the Healing ability, it just gets more OP the higher the level, tho it doesn’t have a summoning ability, but will let you heal others as much as you want at Level Ten
So thus, this is Airplane’s second Ghost ‘Friend’~ (〃 ̄︶ ̄)人( ̄︶ ̄〃)
Instance Three (Intermediate): Guards of The Icy Village
So, Airplane is confident in himself, seeing as he’s managed Instances that go from Novice to Intermediate all the time, thinks ‘why not try an Intermediate, since my Novice experience will probably turn out like that anyways? (the fact that all the choices he has left are either Intermediate or Hard does not matter!)
Looking through his choices, he see a Limited Event One, with a Special Link to it; not knowing what this means but being effected by the Limited deal, he picks it.
(What this means is that there will be an Event in this Instance that will literally only be open this one time and can not be done ever again; Special Link Means that this Event will and can effect in even Higher Level Instances in the Future, depending on how Many +’s are in the title of it.)
This Event has a Max Number of +’s :)
So, he picks his choice and finds himself in this beautiful Icy wonderland with a group of other people. Everyone has to be set into teams here, guarding the snow village from evil spirits and monsters that would prey on it for five days and five nights. And because I want to, Airplane has been teamed up with Gongyi Xiao, Qin Wanrong, Qin Wanyue, and Qiu Haitang. As long as they protect their part of the Village, they will be able to pass the Instance and everything will be swell
(Is this me indulging in having some badass girls, and letting these characters not only get some damn scene time, but be able to be happy and live? Yes, yes it is, because let me explore these guys in this traumatic AU where they have to do all they can to live, and still be able to trust to have each other’s backs dang it)
So, the Huan Hua High Schooler group have already been through two instances at this point, Airplane has been through a lot, and Qiu Haitang has had one game that turned from easy to hard in a minute that she survived with luck and her wits (and gave her a crap ton of points and a need for survival classes she took asap before her next game). Airplane, because he doesn’t trust the fact that they’ll be okay if other parts of the Village they’re in are invaded, sends his spirits and some nifty golems he got from the shop to help patrol everywhere.
Because come on, if one place gets breached, of course the rest will be vulnerable! He’s played the Empire Building, Fortress Making games to prove it!
(Everyone nods, because this actually makes so much sense, how could they have ignored such an obvious trap! Intermediate Instances are no joke!)
Cue really scary as fuck ice monsters and evil spirits. Things are going good, Airplane and co are making it through, with Airplane discovering and making obsolete yet another trap unknowingly because he’s making sure everything is rationed(and using some points to actually buy some fooof) and checking in with villagers all over; because they are literally in charge of protecting and managing all these people, and with everything around here with the blizzard and seize, they have to make sure there is enough food and supplies for everyone.
(That this prevents making evil spirits and monster from rising with the Village is a big thing actually, because some of them are made from the dead.)
So then, the forth day comes; it starts out nice, no more harsh snows, people are coming out of their houses now, Airplane is nearly tearing his hair out from stress and too many people, but he can make do. (has had to make do with worse really)
And then he hears some of the Villagers are about to riot, planning to go at something with stones and pitchforks. Panicking, thinking these NPCs that he has to protect are trying to go outside their weight class, Airplane gets the others in his team and other teams who are useful to hopefully get the weak peasant class NPC out of danger as he goes about handling the problem himself, only to stop and start at the literal child bleeding in from of him.
For a moment, Airplane blanks... (Sure, he knows, from experience, that Children Ghosts are in fact some of the most, if not the most deadly ghost out there... And yet... for all the pranks and cruelty they played, they were always the ones who understood Airplane’s loneliness the most, being the most truthful and blunt and just honest with him...)
So, when Airplane sees this light blue demon child with horns and nasty claws, tear stains on his still baby fat cheeks even as they scowl and bare fangs, fear and anger in their eyes as they tremble before him, Airplane does not kill the child or run them out of the village.
It takes some coaxing, and it’s mostly hunger on the child’s part that wins in the end, but with the last of Airplane’s Jerky being torn through, he is able to treat the kid with his kit in his tent, even get them some cold soup to eat before they sleep.
Airplane has enough time to possibly panic over the fact ‘Wait, if there is a child there must be a parent’ before said Child’s Father appears in the Village the next morning, KO’ing two teams before almost killing his own before Airplane shakily presents them their well treated and contented child...
who doesn’t let go, until their parent raises an eyebrow, makes an amused huff, and easily grabs their child, even if it leaves Airplane with some nasty scratches and one less lucky charm necklace.
(The Future Mobei-Jun, still Mo Bolin, nearly cries, but stubbornly bites his lip as he does, glaring at anything and everyone around him, especially his parent and the warm person he has to leave here. He wants to keep them! They saved him when their was no gain for it, and even used much needed supplies to treat him, which Mo Bolin knows are important and guarded fiercely! They told interesting stories and had good food! He doesn’t want to leave them.)
Mo Bolin’s Father is very amused, and gives Shang Qinghua an ice power(shield) and a Teleporting Token.
So, when Shang Qinghua gets back from this instance, he gets some friend requests, a bunch of points for the best possible ending ever achieved in a game, and info about his new things.
he’ll only be able to make Shields and Barriers with his new Ice Ability, with the strength and number he can make increasing with each level.
With the Token, it allows him to teleport a limited range and places he either sees or has been. It can’t be leveled, but apparently, if he fulfills some sort of condition, it can be upgraded.
So, those are ideas I have for some of the Instances. Things not mentioned:
Time with the Instances is weird; Time still always moves forward, but it can easily skip around... So the next time Airplane accidently gets into a high Nightmare Grade Instance, He might see a fully grown Mo Bolin, now Mobei-Jun~
Another example of Time being weird with the Instances; Airplane obviously met Shang Qinghua first, but Shang Qinghua had been Betrayed and sold out to Mobei-Jun, the same Mobei-Jun that Airplane saved as a child :D
(Yes, Airplane will summon Shang Qinghua in an Instance with Mobei-Jun, and it will be gloriously awkward, even as Shang Qinghua is smug, because he can still see Airplane anytime the other wishes to summon him)
(This will probably lead to Mobei-Jun upgrading Airplane’s Token, making it to where it’s range is even greater now, and can summon him if Airplane wishes it.)
I am still on the fence of making Shen Yuan either a Ghost and part of the Harem, or a player who is bros with Airplane.
There is an Instance in their Real Life, where Qiu Haitang, Shen Jiu, Yue Qi, along with Airplane go along one hell of a Blast from the Past as they find out terrible secrets, things get resolved, there is much crying to be had, and everyone agrees to never mention the Instance ever again or so help them Shen Jiu will make them forget.
(Shen Jiu likes having a sister. Qiu Haitang likes having a brother she actually likes.)
Liu Qingge is a disaster; is he a player, is he a Ghost, is he a monster? Who knows, Airplane doesn’t. (I’m going to say he is a fellow player~ he just likes messing with Airplane.)
And thus, here is this AU~ Hope you guys like it~ EDIT: Noticed this was weird to read, so I added spaces: hope this helps.

꧁𝐶ℎ𝑎𝑝𝑡𝑒𝑟 𝑂𝑛𝑒꧂
꧁𝐶ℎ𝑎𝑝𝑡𝑒𝑟 𝑇𝑤𝑜꧂
꧁𝐶ℎ𝑎𝑝𝑡𝑒𝑟 𝑇ℎ𝑟𝑒𝑒꧂ Coming Soon
10 years later
“But Zuko, what if I want to be the hero this time!?” Dahlia’s voice echoed through the palace gardens.
With a sigh Zuko turns “I guess you can play the hero this time. But I am NOT playing the princess,” Zuko finally said yes to the little girl standing in-front of him. She gasped and squealed and ran as fast as she could to give her best friend a big hug.
“Yay! But who will play the princess?”
“I will”
Dahlia and Zuko turned around to see where the voice was coming from. Azula.
Dahlia’s stomach dropped. Azula never played fair and someone always got hurt by the time she was ready to quit playing. “Zuko, maybe we should just play with the turtle ducks,” Dahlia whispered so only Zuko can hear but she was wrong. “Well it would only make sense.. I am a princess in real life.. I would be perfect for the role!” Azula slyly slips closer to them igniting the fear in Dahlia she was all too used to here at the palace.
“Okay then I can play the villain!” Zuko faked being excited. He shot Dahlia a soft look seeing in her eyes that she was scared. He hated seeing her this way, she was his best friend after all. This always made Azula jealous seeing her brother constantly playing with Dahlia instead of her like Ty Lee and Mai. Azula knew there was something off about Dahlia, why would her mother bring a random peasant baby into the palace? This made Azula’s blood boil even hotter, mapping out her attack plan quicker than Dahlia could even blink. She’s been dealing with this for too long. She had to end Dahlia.
Azula smirked and pushed out a huge ball of fire at Zuko and Dahlia. Zuko’s heart stopped, “hey! You know we don’t use fire outside of training and around Dahlia you know it’s not fair!” Zuko squeaked after diverting the fire. Dahlia’s heart sank, another reminder that she could never stand a chance against Azula without bending.
“Well Dahlia, you wanted to be the hero, now be one” Azula’s words were like venom in Dahlia’s heart, everyone knew she couldn’t stand a chance. “Don’t hurt anyone Azula” Zuko said lowly. “Now what makes you think I’d do that Zuzu? It’s just a friendly game” Azula smirked and threw another fireball at the two children. It was always fun and games until Azula showed up. Zuko diffused the fireball while Dahlia ducked only to see Mai and Ty Lee coming through the entrance of the gardens. She was in big trouble now.
Zuko was trying to make a plan in his head. But he knew he wasn’t as strong as Azula, she was so much farther in training than him. Before Zuko could think another thought Azula sent another blast knocking Dahlia and Zuko on their butts.
“Guards! Arrest this man!” Azula yelled at Ty Lee and Mai. They ran to Zuko before he could get up and wrapped his wrists with Mai’s hair ribbon. A blush crept up on Zuko’s face from Mai’s touch, he had a crush on her. Dahlia watched, she felt so helpless. The boy she had a crush on was entranced by another girl and her bully was standing right in-front of her waiting to attack.
Deep in Dahlia’s heart she’d hope Azula would show mercy to the little girl sitting there with tears welling up in her eyes. She had no way out. And Azula never showed mercy, she seen it as weakness. And as soon as Zuko looked over from Mai’s eyes a crack of lightning came from the sky and the most disturbing scream rang in Zuko’s ear drums.
Everyone’s heart stopped. But Dahlia continued screaming. Tears immediately hit Zuko’s eyes.
“Finally! My best move yet! Daddy will be so proud” Azula squealed and kicked Dahlia over on her side. Zuko was almost positive she was dead. There’s no way a regular 10 year old could survive but somehow she was still screaming. The fire in Zuko’s heart made him see red and he immediately destroyed the ribbon around his wrists, running over to Dahlia and cradling her head in his small hands.
“Dahlia are you okay?” Zuko managed to speak even though he could barely hear himself. Dahlia thrashed in pain, blood trickling out of her side. Zuko noticed the lighting marks crawling up her hip under the destroyed part of her kimono. His heart sank. She’d have this scar forever if she survives. Soon they could hear frantic foot steps coming from inside the palace. Zuko pushes up from his feet fuming, “Why would you do this?!”
“Azula!” Iroh and Ursa scream in unison seeing Azula above Dahlia giggling. “Look mom you’re going to be so proud! I can use lightening now!” Azula smirked brightly but Iroh and Ursa were less than impressed. Iroh had been visiting and Ursa wanted the kids to be on their best behavior but obviously Azula couldn’t let that get in the way of her plan.
“Get the healers immediately and prepare the royal hospital room,” Ursa quickly said to the guards. “The royal hospital room? She’s a peasant!” the guard talked back. Iroh’s eyes widened, “I don’t think it’s your place to be questioning her royal highness in such a situation. Now go.” Iroh said coldly. Ursa ran to the children trying to ignore the tears threatening to spill over. To say the least Dahlia was the daughter Ursa wished Azula was.
“Azula. Go see your father.“ Ursa had enough of Azula’s antics. And everyone knew if Ursa sent anyone to Ozai that they were in big trouble.
ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ
Dahlia’s eyes finally fluttered open to see Ursa sleeping on the chair aside her. Dahlia panicked, she didn’t recognize where she was. Her eyes adjusted to see its the royal hospital room. She grabbed Ursa’s hand startling her awake. Tears lining Dahlia’s eyes as she remembered what happened. “I-I” she could barely speak, her throat felt like it was on fire from screaming, “I tho-thought I was going to die” she finally said with tears flowing down her cheeks like a waterfall. Ursa pulled her into a gentle hug minding her wounded side. “You’re safe now darling, I promise” she croaked out exhausted from crying and all the emotions the day brought.
ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ
“You know Zuko would like to see you,” Iroh says to Dahlia while she scans the book he brought for her to read during recovery. “Oh no Iroh.. I look so terrible right now” the redness in her cheeks told Iroh all he needed to know. “Don’t worry ladybug, he told me he thought you’re the most beautiful girl in the palace” he said in hopes to lift her spirits. Somehow Dahlia’s face got even redder, “You’re only saying that to be nice” she said as she crossed her arms.
“Well he’s got a present waiting for you and I’m sure you’d like to see what it is,” Iroh teased. “That might be true but I know he doesn’t think I’m the most beautiful girl in the palace” she said stubbornly. Iroh chuckled, “How are you so sure?” he says challenging her stubbornness as usual. “He told me he likes Mai and that Ozai thought it was a good idea”
Iroh sighed, realizing how quickly these kids were growing up now that Ozai was preparing a wife to marry off to his son when he turns 18. He knew Ursa would have none of it. But now Iroh was confused, Zuko really did tell him that he thought she was the most beautiful girl in the palace. “I’m not lying to you Dahlia, I’m not sure why he would change his mind” but they both knew why. Even if he chose Dahlia the nation believes she’s a simple peasant with no bending abilities who just got lucky. But Iroh knew one day the secret would come out.
“Ladybug, how things are now are not how they will always be. Your destiny is your own not Ozai or Azula can change it. Now, would you like some jasmine tea?” He says getting up to grab the pot. “Yes please! Can you mix the camomile in?” she says excitedly. “Zuko will be out of training soon. I told him to stop by” Iroh said and Dahlia just let out a loud huff, too tired to argue any further.
ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ
"Zuko! You're in luck..the tea just finished..How was training?” Iroh said getting the cups ready for them “Fine I guess. It’s weird not having Azula there though,”
Dahlia almost questioned why Azula wasn’t there but then she saw that Zuko was hiding something behind his back. A blush rose to her cheeks. ‘He really did bring me something’ she thought. Iroh nodded at Zuko and said, “Oh I must have forgotten my cup. Excuse me for a moment.”
Dahlia wanted to crawl in a hole. She knew Iroh did that on purpose.
“So how are you feeling?” Zuko said walking closer to the hospital bed. “Fine I guess. I can’t walk yet.” she said sadly which made Zuko feel a pain in his heart. “I’m sorry I didn’t do better. I failed at protecting you. But I hope these fire lilies make you feel better” he said sweetly. Dahlia’s jaw dropped, the only place you can get pink fire lilies near the palace was to hike the the Eagle’s Volcano. Her lack of response made Zuko falter, “Do you hate them? I-I’m sorry it was stupid-“ “No no! I love them! They’re perfect..” she trails off admiring their rare color.
Zuko was feeling pretty used to rejection. All the gifts he got for Mai she hated. He was tired of trying to impress her for his father even if he had a tiny crush on her because he had a bigger, deeper crush on Dahlia that’s been lingering in his heart for as long as he could remember. She was the most beautiful, fun girl he knew and now that he was alone with her he was going to do something about it.
“You know where they would look perfect?” he said touching the soft petals “Where?” she replied looking into his honey filled eyes as he pulled a flower out of the bouquet. “In your hair,” he said as he pushed her hair behind her ear and placed the flower in her long brown hair. Just as she relaxed into Zuko’s touch, the door opened. “I brought an extra guest for tea, I hope you don’t mind” Iroh announces as Ursa follows in behind him.
The smiles on their faces were priceless, they knew exactly what was going on. “Well don’t you look just like a beautiful doll,” Ursa gushed and pressed a kiss to both the children’s heads. Both of them blushing like mad.
I hope you guys liked this chapter!! idk how I feel about it yet! Requests are open! I wanted to let everybody know that any suggestions are welcome!! Totally helps out when I get overwhelmed with ideas!!

Finally finished the ZR5K training app! This has changed some of my personal Five headcannons, so I decided to write them all out
Warning: this gets a lot longer than I originally intended. and a lot more angsty than intended.
The Story Begins and Week 1
Five is terrified to say the least
She had barely gotten used to Mullins before she ended up at Abel
It doesn’t take long for her to figure out that she would prefer to be anything but the new Runner Five. She hasn’t known Sam for long, but she can tell he’s been through some stuff. She wishes her existence caused him less pain
She literally doesn’t know how to accept the old Runner Five’s bag. She definitely doesn’t even use it for a while
And being new makes her feel like the ultimate third wheel. Maxine is nice, but she’s close with Sam. Also Maxine is training her and it just feels weird.
And Jody is nice to her, but they’re certainly not close yet.
She feels very alone. Her first week at Abel is rough. And she does end up reading Rajit’s book, because what else is she going to do.
Week 2
Sam terrifies her
She knows enough about Abel to know that Sam means a lot to a lot of people. And she is angry with him for putting her, the new runner, in the position of protecting him. on her SECOND week of TRAINING.
She, of course, feels for him. But she also knows that Sam must hate being out with her and talking to her. The old Runner Five’s replacement. Especially when he goes rogue and runs off to find Alice’s wallet.
But she is just angry and upset with him.
And at herself for existing.
If she wasn’t avoiding Sam before this week, she certainly was now.
She keeps the ax Janine gives her in the old Runner Five’s bag with the dagger. She doesn’t want to use them, but knows she will have to someday.
Week 3
It’s clear that everyone is worried about Sam
Five tries to not think about it, and fails
It helps when people are out keeping her company during her trainings, although she doesn’t know how she feels about Francesca or Chris. But at least they’re a good distraction. For the most part.
She very much appreciates the notebook and pens she gets from Chris, because she is able to draw again.
Even if Chris made her train with a tied up zom for them.
The can of food and hospital pass also find a home in the bag she will need to use eventually.
When she hears that Sam may be joining her again next week, she tries to ignore the anxiety bubbling up inside of her
But she knows she’s making progress with her training. And she tries to allow herself to feel good about that for a moment
Week 4
She’s avoided Sam for a couple of weeks now, and now he’s just back and can’t even address her.
She hates how high school it feels. Like they went through a bad break up and are learning to be friends again or something. Even if their situation is nothing like that.
She’s annoyed and sad and tired.
Jody is a bundle of joy though and Five can’t be sad around her
When Sam joins her for her second work out, Five feels every single emotion for a brief moment before she just tunes everything out and tries to focus on her training
But Sam just keeps talking about Alice and Alice’s sister. And Five just feels everything again: annoyed, inadequate, frustrated, upset.
And then he has the audacity to laugh at her while she’s training.
She feels like this is how Martha Jones must’ve felt when traveling with the Tenth Doctor
She does not like Sam
She doesn’t want to like Sam
But when she hears about Alice’s sister she goes soft, just for a moment. She thinks of her sisters and how, if it were her, she would want them to have closure too.
And she already knows that she’s going to help Sam out. If only for that reason.
When she’s able to assist in saving Runner Six, it makes her feel the best she has felt at her time at Abel so far.
And when she gets the gift from Evan, she is incredibly touched.
Maybe she wouldn’t live up to the previous Runner Five, but maybe she would be a half-decent runner.
Week 5
She is very intimidated by Janine, but thinks it’s sweet how she also worries about Sam
Also, it was fun hearing Maxine’s reactions. Maybe they could be friends after all.
As much as she decided that she doesn’t mind helping out for Alice’s sister, there was something about Sam’s involvement that just frustrated her
Sam brought back her overwhelming feeling of inadequacy whenever he was around during her trainings. As much as she tried to ignore those thoughts, they were especially prominent whenever he was present.
She never took compliments well, but she hates Sam’s compliments
She knows he doesn’t mean them
And she doesn’t want him to thank her for helping Alice
She definitely doesn’t want that
But she’s civil to him. Because everyone has been through enough.
Her third work out kept her spirits up, because Jody is an absolute delight.
She’s known Jody for 5 weeks but if anything were to happen to her she would kill everyone at Abel and then herself.
But it was super fun to get out to run for yarn with Jody.
Week 6
She thinks Sam is too hard on Rajit
His novel wasn’t terrible
But then Rajit says something about Francesca being mind controlled and she thinks maybe, just maybe, Sam might have a point
But just because Rajit has a wild imagination doesn’t mean Sam gets to be rude
And she knows she needs to get used to Sam. He is the radio operator. He will be running most of her missions once she’s done with her training.
But it’s tough
And then there was Janine and Sara talking about her. Which definitely didn’t give her the warm and fuzzies.
The rec center pass also finds a home in the old Runner Five bag. She’s not ready for that yet.
And then Maggie just had to get out on a run before she was ready.
And Five has to save her again
Training was rough this week
Week 7
When Sam asks to join on her warm up, she tries to stay open-minded
She hopes that helping out with Alice’s sister will offer him some closure
Because as much as Sam frustrates her, he also grew on her
She understands why so many people worry and care about him, because he is a genuinely good and kind person
And it isn’t his fault that she’s insecure either. She knew that was a problem long before the zombie apocalypse lol.
She just hopes that she stops feeling weird around him soon. She’s tired.
Jody runs with her again on her next training and the small break from Sam helps
Five doesn’t know how to feel about the Francesca situation, but she’s just glad that no one thought that she was the one going going around and stealing stuff
She’s starting to feel like Abel could be home. And she’s not sure that she wants to feel happy about that.
When Evan comes out for a run with her, she’s nervous for a variety of reasons
And blushes when both Sam and Maxine compliment her progress
Five’s face has always gotten red while running, ever since she was young. She never liked it, but she doesn’t mind it that day. Evan doesn’t need to know how red her face would get from his compliments.
But she has never felt more ready to be a runner after her run with Evan
Week 8
She’s glad to hear that Sam found Alice’s sister and that they’ll both get the closure they need
She already knows that she’s going to help deliver Alice’s belongings to her sister before either Sam or Maxine can ask
And Five knows that it’s still partially because she has sisters
But at this point, she can’t even deny that it’s not partially for Sam’s benefit as well
She hopes that once her final training mission is over things can start to feel normal, and maybe she can start to actually be friends with Sam and Maxine
And maybe the others too
One step at a time
The trip to Bert Airfield is more rough than she would’ve like it to be
She didn’t like being cut off from comms that long, but she figured it may be like that sometimes
But she makes it and gets the package there on time
If Five was told before the apocalypse that she would be outrunning zoms and professionally running for her survival, she would’ve thought you were crazy
And it’s only been 8 weeks, but Abel feels safe. And she feels like it could be her home, for now.

Like Father, Like Son - Part 5 (Final Chapter) – Theo and Dean Crossover
Based on the request and headcannon by @theoraekendeserveslove
Word Count: 3,154
Warnings: None really.
Author’s Note: There are a lot of changes. So, consider this an Alternate Universe/Ending from the Series Finale episode.
[Part 1] [Part 2] [Part 3] [Part 4]
[My Teen Wolf Master List]
Tumblr media
Dean slowly put his jacket on and groaned as he, Sam, Castiel, Theo, and Y/N walked out of Deaton’s animal clinic. Theo and Y/N had taken Dean to get the bullet out, clean his wound, and stitch him up after leaving the hospital. Y/N held Theo’s hand as they walked to his truck. She could sense his nervousness, but she didn’t understand why. Everything was okay. They survived and Monroe lost. What did Theo have to be worried about?
“Well, that’s definitely one for the books,” Dean said as he and Sam turned around to see Theo.
Theo chuckled and nodded. “Yeah. I guess so.”
“I think he means literally since there are books based on their lives,” Castiel admitted. Theo and Y/N gave the brothers a quizzical look, wondering what Castiel meant.
“That’s a story for another time,” Dean brushed off the topic.
Theo nodded as he began to shift his weight from one foot to the other. Y/N looked at him with a raised eyebrow, wondering why he was on the edge, but Theo said nothing.
“I guess it’s time to go,” Sam said as he patted Dean’s shoulder.
“Ready whenever you are,” Castiel said as he looked at Dean. Castiel could tell Dean wasn’t ready to leave. If anything, he wished he could stay a bit longer and get to know Theo more, but he didn’t want to push if Theo wasn’t ready.
Tumblr media
“Umm,” Theo cleared his throat. “If you have some time, there’s this diner close by that makes the best pies-” Dean groaned as his mouth watered at the thought of having some delicious pie right now.
Sam chuckled as he shook his head. “You are your father’s son.”
“Pie is the way to my heart, son,” Dean confessed.
“Funny,” Y/N smiled as she leaned towards Theo. “It’s his too. If Theo could, he would eat pie everyday.”
“Like father, like son,” Sam chuckled again, making everyone laugh.
“I can get us there in seconds.”
Theo immediately shook his head as his stomach turned at the idea of traveling with Castiel again. “I think we’ll take my truck.” Y/N gave him a confused look, knowing she was clearly missing something. “Trust me babe, you don’t want to travel with an angel,” Theo said as he tugged her hand and walked her to the passenger door to open it for her.
Dean, Sam, Castiel got into the backseat of the truck. Theo started the truck and drove to the diner. Dean smiled as he saw Theo reach for Y/N’s hand and held it over the middle console, both completely happy and content with each other. He began to wonder how his life might have been if he hadn’t gone into the family hunting business. Maybe he would have met a girl, fell in love, got married, and have kids running around a beautiful house in the suburbs. Maybe he would have had that with Theo’s mom. He knew that’s what Sam wanted in the first place, which is why he left to college. Convincing Sam to go on the road to find dad after Jessica died is something he regretted. If he hadn’t shown up, maybe Sam would have had his perfect love story right now with Jessica.
Theo pulled into a parking space at the diner, making Dean snap back into reality. Everyone got out of the truck and walked into the diner. Theo picked a booth in the back corner that sits 6 people. Y/N slid in first, before Theo followed and made room for Dean to sit next to him while Sam and Castiel sat across from them.
The place was dead. The only waitress working walked up to their table. “Good evening,” she looked at her watched and noticed it was way past midnight. “Or should I say good morning?” She chuckled to herself. “What can I get y'all?”
“I’ll have a coffee,” Sam said.
“Make that two,” Castiel gave at the waitress a warm smile.
“What pie do you have?” Theo and Dean asked in unison, making everyone laugh.
“I have apple and peach pie,” the waitress answered.
“I’ll have one of each,” Theo said before he causally placed his hand on Y/N’s thigh.
Tumblr media
Dean turned around with a huge smile on his face. At first, Dean was surprised to learn Theo was his son. Now, he couldn’t be happier to know his son enjoys pies as much as he does.
“I’ll have the same and a cup of coffee,” Dean smile as he looked back at the waitress.
“What about you, darling?” She asked Y/N.
“I’ll have some apple pie with a milkshake.”
“With two straws,” Theo added.
“I’ll be right back with your order.” The waitress walked away from the table, leaving the five of them to themselves.
Everyone just stayed quiet and looked at each other. Truthfully, it was a little bit awkward. No one knew what to say or do. They’ve never experienced having to sit together and talk amongst each other like most families do.
Tumblr media
“So…” Castiel trailed, trying to cut the tension.
“Can I ask you a question?” Dean turned to look at Theo. Theo nodded his head, giving Dean permission to proceed. “That thing you did back there at the hospital. How did you do that?”
“And what exactly was that?” Sam added.
“Well, we can take people’s pain away,” Theo answered.
“And you’ve done that before?” Dean asked.
“I have. Theo, however,” Y/N smiled as she wrapped her hand around Theo’s bicep and leaned towards him. “Did it for the first time tonight.” Everyone heard how proud she was.
“You had never done it before?” Sam asked a bit surprised. Theo shook his head.
“You’ve never done it on Y/N before?” Dean followed up.
Y/N rolled her eyes at him. “Please. I can take care of myself. I’m tougher than I look.” Theo smiled at how confident and strong his girl was. He couldn’t help but lean in and kiss her cheek.
“No,” Theo finally answered after he turned to face Dean. “Umm, I tried to take away Mason’s pain the other day when he got hurt, but it didn’t work. I mean I tried so hard. I wanted to help him, but Mason said I probably couldn’t do it because I didn’t care. He’s not exactly my favorite person. So, I thought maybe he was right.”
“Except you do care,” Y/N squeezed his arm. “You saw Dean hurt. You wanted to help him because I know deep down you care about your father. You have from the moment you found out, but you kept your guard up because you were too afraid to care about someone who you might lose someday. I know you were protecting yourself and Dean by not getting close. Not getting close to him protects him from the crazy life we live. Also, I know you pushed him away because you believed he wouldn’t accept you after everything you’ve done in the past, but that’s not the case. You realized that when he came here to help you.”

Everyone was silent as Y/N nailed Theo’s feelings. He hadn’t talked to her about how he felt about Dean. She just knew. No one knew him better than she did, and he still wonders how in the world he ever got so lucky with an amazing woman as her.
Dean cleared his throat. “Is she right?”
Theo swallowed hard. “Yeah.”
Dean smiled at Theo. “Thank you.”
“For what?” Theo asked surprised.
“For letting me help you, for taking my pain away…” Dean trailed. “For caring back.” Theo smiled at Dean.
“Alright, here we go,” the waitress said as she brought a tray with their orders. She passed out their drinks and pies. When she left, everyone talked about different things and shared supernatural stories. They laughed, they joked, and they even teased each other a little bit. Theo paused for a second and looked around.
This is what it must feel like to have a family, he thought to himself.
It was nearly 3am when they walked out of the diner. They stood in front of Theo’s truck, not ready to say goodbye.
“It was great meeting you two,” Castiel said as he shook Theo and Y/N’s hands, who also said goodbye to him. He turned around to face Sam and Dean, who looked sad. “Take as long as you like. I’ll wait for you by the dumpster,” Castiel said before walking away.
Dean let out a heavy sigh and took a step forward towards Theo. “You know, for years I believed I wasn’t meant to have everything; the girl and some kids. Ya know, the whole white picket fence house and homemade pie lifestyle. It’s hard to have that with the kind of business I do.” Theo and Y/N sensed the sadness radiating off Sam. If they only knew how much Sam wanted Dean to have everything he wanted and deserved.

“But then I met you,” Dean let out a small chuckle. “And you couldn’t be more like me, son. Look, I know we just met and I know you have a life here, while mine is out on the road, but just know you can call me anytime and I’ll be there, Theo. If you need my help or you’re in some sort of trouble, don’t hesitate to call me. If you just want to see what I’m doing and, uh, I don’t know maybe go get some pie sometime, I can do that too, kid. You can call me for anything. Day or night, okay?”
Theo nodded. “I’ll keep that in mind.”
“Just know, you have us, okay?” Dean said as he also pointed back at Sam with his thumb.
“We’re family. We’ll always be there for you,” Sam added with a smile.
“I really appreciate that,” Theo said before he leaned in and hugged Dean, who didn’t waste a second to hug him back. “Thank you for coming,” he whispered.

“Anytime, son,” Dean whispered back before he pulled back.
“I’ve always wanted to be an uncle,” Sam smiled before he leaned in and hugged Theo goodbye. “Don’t be a stranger, okay?”
“You got it,” Theo chuckled as he hugged Sam back.
Dean looked at Y/N. “If he gives you any trouble or is just being a pain in the ass, don’t hesitate to call me.”
Y/N couldn’t help but laugh. “You got it, Dean.” She hugged him and Sam goodbye. She reached for Theo’s hand to hold, knowing how much he was hurting at the moment. Instead, he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her in tight as they watched Dean and Sam walk towards Castiel and disappeared in a matter of seconds.
“Let’s go,” she whispered. Theo kissed her forehead before they got into his truck and went to Liam’s house, who had offered his guest bedroom to them for as long as they needed a place to stay.

The Next Morning
Everyone sat in Scott’s living room as they waited for Mason and Corey to arrive. Scott had called an emergency pack meeting, but Theo, Y/N, and Liam were clueless to what the meeting was about. Monroe and her minions had left Beacon Hills and the rest of the city wasn’t scared of them anymore now that the Anuk-ite was gone. No one knew exactly what was going to happen in the meeting, with the exception of Scott, Stiles, Lydia, Malia, and Derek who were patiently waiting on Mason and Corey.
“Finally!” Stiles said as Mason and Corey walked in. “What took you two so long?”
“Traffic,” Mason said. “What’s the emergency?”
“Well…” Scott trailed as he stood up from the sofa. Malia, Stiles, Lydia and Derek got up and stood behind Scott. “We couldn’t leave without saying goodbye.”
“What?” Liam said nervously before shooting up from his seat.
“Liam, I know you’re scared, but you’re ready. I believe in you. I know you can take care of Beacon Hills while we’re in college, with the FBI, or somewhere in South America.”
“Just know, we’re all a phone call away if you ever need us, you little runt,” Stiles said as he ruffled Liam’s hair. He looked at Mason. “You still got that bat?” Mason nodded. “Don’t lose it. It’s going to save your life more than once.”
“And remember I’m your girl if you ever need advice on girls or picking out clothes for your dates,” Lydia smiled before she leaned in and hugged Liam. “Don’t worry about Hayden. If it’s meant to be, you two will find your way back together,” she whispered.
“I’m sorry,” Malia apologized to Liam. He gave her a confused look, wondering what she was sorry about. “I didn’t mean it when I said your plans were stupid. You’re actually a pretty good beta and I know you’ll do great here.”
“Thanks, Malia,” Liam said before hugging Malia.
Scott looked at Theo. “You’ve come a long way, you know that?”
“Yeah,” Theo let out a small chuckle. “I don’t expect you guys wanting me to stay here and I appreciate you calling me when you needed help, but just know you can always call me if you need help. Either one of you,” he said looking between Scott and Liam.
“Same goes for you,” Scott smiled at Theo.
“Same here,” Liam added.
Everyone hugged each other goodbye before Stiles and Derek helped take Scott and Malia’s bags to Stiles’ old Jeep. Liam, Mason, Corey, Theo, and Y/N watched Scott and Malia drive off in Stiles’ Jeep, Derek in his new black Mustang, Lydia and Stiles in her car.
Liam turned to face Theo and Y/N. “What’s the plan for you guys? I mean you’re not in high school anymore and you’re not going to college. Beacon Hills is safe as of right now. You have too much free time, what are you going to next?”

Only one thing crossed Theo’s mind, rather one person, Dean. This was the time to finally give Dean a chance and get to know his father. It would give Theo a chance to finally experience being around family with his dad and his uncle. Maybe he would stay for as long as he wanted, maybe even help them with their family business. He didn’t know what the future held. He just knew he wanted Dean in it.
Right before he was about to answer with a smile on his face, he turned to look at Y/N. His smile slowly vanished as he realized he didn’t even consider what Y/N might have wanted. He was being completely selfish, but he didn’t want to leave her behind. He had wanted her to go with him, but he didn’t want to hold her back from her dreams. He was torn.
Y/N wrapped her hand around their locked hands and bumped his hips with hers. She could see what running through his worried mind. “I go wherever you go. Your dreams are my dreams. My dreams are your dreams. We’re in this together for the long haul,” she smiled at him.
His muscles instantly relaxed. He had never been this lucky to have someone as amazing, caring, and understanding as Y/N. Theo cupped her cheeks and pulled her in for a kiss, one that expressed how much he genuinely and deeply loved her. “I love you, you know that, right?”
“I love you too,” she said breathlessly.
Theo turned around to finally answer Liam’s question. “I’m going to get to know my father.”
The three boys smiled at Theo, happy to see how far he’s come since they first met him. They said their goodbyes, promising each other they’re only a phone call away if they ever need anything. As the seniors headed to school, Theo and Y/N went back to Liam’s house to pack their stuff before going on their mini-road trip.

A day and a half later
With their backpacks strapped to their backs, a duffle bag in each hand, and their other hands intertwined, Theo and Y/N made their way to the front door of the bunker. Neither of them was worried. Not that Y/N had any reason to be, but she was surprised Theo wasn’t as nervous as she thought maybe he would be. Truth be told, he wasn’t nervous because this felt right. He believed nothing bad would come from this. Things would finally be whole for Theo.
Y/N squeezed his hand before he let it go. He took a deep breath and knocked on the door hard. He quickly grabbed her hand. They waited a few seconds knowing it was a long walk across the bunker and up the stairs before getting to the front door.
Two pairs of footsteps grew louder by the second before the sounds of locks being unlocked reached the chimeras’ ears. The door opened only to be greeted by a surprised Dean and Sam.

“Theo, is everything okay? Are you alright, son?” Dean immediately panicked with worry.
Sam’s eyes flickered to the young couple’s bags. A smile reached the corner of his eyes realizing what this meant and he was thrilled his older brother was finally going to have a piece of that dream he’s always wanted.
Y/N smiled as Theo spoke. “Everything is fine. Great actually. Beacon Hills is okay and safe for now. It’s kind of pointless to be there. So, now I have all this free time and I was kind of hoping- if it’s alright with you, if we can kind of stay here with you. What do you say…” he trailed for a second before saying the next word. “Dad?” The world felt so natural and comfortable. Theo no longer struggled to call Dean what he was and he was hoping Dean didn’t mind.
Y/N couldn’t help the tears forming in her eyes. Neither could Sam. They both knew how hard this moment was and it was great to finally see it happen.
Dean’s eyes filled with warm tears before he leaned in and hugged Theo. “Welcome home, son.”
Sam offered to help with the bags as he welcomed Y/N inside. Dean and Theo pulled away. “You must be exhausted from the long drive. Are you two hungry? I can make something really quick,” Dean said.
“We’re starving,” Theo answered as Dean took one of his bags.
“I could make some pie for dessert,” Y/N smiled knowing it would be the perfect way to end this day.
Dean looked at his son. “Marry her.”
Everyone laughed as Sam closed the front door and locked it. He stayed behind and watched them walk down the stairs, talking about the drive, the junk food they got when they made stops at gas stations, and all the pies they ate at diners along the way.
Sam’s heart was full and couldn’t help the smile and tears in his eyes. “Like father, like son,” he whispered to himself.
