got my hands on "hell in bottles" by kyusaku yumeno and MISTER ANDRZEJ (the translator)!!! I HAVE WORDS TO SAY!!!!!1

I don't think Bonnie's school would look like a public school setting at least not like a modern one. Think about it, there isn't modern transportation, so it would be the local kids at best. I'd say that's at BEST 50 kids in the area??? As low as 10-15. All of which are probably in various levels of education. Classes would likely take place a) in a House in one or two classrooms, b) literally in someone's home, c) the local library, or d) in some other public amenity. If it is a formal school building, it's likely not to be too big.

And also. The teachers. If we take Mirabelle teaching classes into account, teachers also aren't licensed. They're closer to being experts in their field or trades educating others through local education systems rather than a national one.

This is all to say that in this situation, Bonnie's education can be much more flexible than a modern public school system. In some ways, the others one on one teaching Bonnie might even be better, especially since there's implication that they struggled in school before this.

you know what's insane is that captain jack harkness, yes as in the freaky little American twunk from doctor who, was named after agatha harkness. like just think on that for a second, two decades before she attained mainstream success and knowledge as a morally grey queer character Russell T Davies was like "lemme make this obscure reference, the queen deserves it"
