this is such a long time overdue, but since ive been away so long i figured this would be a good way to address everything, like whats been happening in my life and my future plans for no1sm for everyones clarity.

to put it shortly, i work full-time, and have done for nearly 2 years now. i am a product designer and i work monday-friday, 9-5. i attend a full day of college classes once a week, this day being even longer than a work day, and on top of that i have a personal work-based tutor that i have to complete work for as well. so in terms of professional obligations, im extremely busy. in my personal life, ive been seeing friends a lot, running errands, planning for weddings, parties, buying a car, SO MANY THINGS. my life has been so hectic.

ive also been suffering some health problems recently. my earliest or readers that are close friends probably know i began writing no1sm to vent my feelings about trauma i underwent, and this obviously still affects me quite greatly alongside depression and anxiety. ive also been suffering quite badly with insomnia and fatigue problems, as well as, embarrassingly, moderately bad eczema.

perhaps the most ridiculous development of all: I AM NOT CURRENTLY HYPERFIXATED ON SOUTH PARK. SHOCK HORROR. BUT PLEASE DONT PANIC: it is still my spin, stan and kyle are still my most favourite characters ever, and most of all i still ENJOY south park and enjoy thinking about, planning, and writing no1sm (when im not completely utterly knackered). ive actually recently gotten majorly into formula 1 as a result of my friends, so if there are any f1 fans following me PLEASE SAY HI!!!!! i plan to do art for it but i have been busy and im also very much a perfectionist. (FYI: my favourite driver is max verstappen. no questions asked. i also love charles daniel lando oscar and honestly most drivers on the grid. i love niki lauda james hunt seb vettel and jenson button. i had a brief mclaren tooned hyperfixation. I AM CURRENTLY INCREDIBLY DEPRESSED OVER DANIEL RICCIARDO LOSING HIS SEAT)

anyway.. getting back on track.

AM I STILL GOING TO BE UPDATING NO1SM?

YES. YES YES A MILLION TIMES YES. i dont know when, but this story is something i have to complete for myself and for you guys. i realised i was putting myself under so much pressure for it to be perfect that it sapped the love i felt for it from me. now that i no longer have visible eyes on me waiting for updates on twitter, i feel much freer and relaxed with it. i dont know how or when, but yes, the story will be completed. do not ask me about the kyle prequel ive planned though DONT DO IT.

i also dont plan on posting about updates anywhere other than tumblr going forwards. ive since moved on from the twitter south park fandom where i was most active, as i felt like i was too old to be in a fandom of minors and the discourse was simply too much. so i decided to move to a fan space and sport that is a million times worse but still somehow has been better for me. so if you still want to follow me on twitter even though i dont south park post anymore, you can follow me at @vrstappns :)

NO. sorry, my mental health and my career comes first. i want to try and find a better balance that leaves me time to write but im afraid i need time to ease myself back in after so long off and theres no guarantee how long that will take me.

YES. I HOPE. who knows when though cause i havent been able to draw in a long time and im still pissed off that i cant draw max verstappen as easily as i could ever draw kyle broflovski.

PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS. as much as other authors may encourage this I REALLY DO NOT LIKE THIS. you dont know how much work i have put into this fic as well as how much of my own life and traumas are embedded between the lines of writing. this fic is practically half of me in the same way my parents’ DNA is a part of my make-up. not to sound rude but to even think you could possibly imagine how i intend for this fic to resolve and end when you dont even know me is laughable.

im sure 2019 charles leclerc and max verstappen guided carefully by brocedes and james hunt and niki lauda will figure something out. maybe not brocedes actually i am unsure if i want stan marsh to end up like nico rosberg. but i guess he is a good youtuber too and has great hair which is two things stan is NOT. gay loser. also david coulthard and sebastian vettel are there somewhere. GAY RED BULL RACING WILL LEAD US TO WORLD PEACE

Hiii guys!!! So sorry i havent been posting much Lackadaisy content, animation school takes lots of time and the entrance conquest(?) for my dream school is very early so iam trying to get used to this new life and work as much as possible!!!

Here are some scans of some recent life sketches I made during the month, ive been spending the last two days scanning all my work to publish them on the conquest tumblr for my school, and adding colours to some pretty dull lookin sketches, then I have editing, planning to do since i only have a week of "holidays". Anyways!

tl;dr an internet freak that i would put on the same level as thecybersmith/human pet guy as far as fuck ass shit hes said but with a quickly growing troll fanbase. -hes been posting relatively consistently since 2023, with one period where he didnt post for 8 months. some ppl use that as evidence that hes fake but girl ive done that like 4 times

life update!!!!

hi hello friends good morning good afternoon good evening its that time of the month again! this isnt really a big life update like the last time bcs i just thought id list down a bunch of things ive had on my mind.

first of all, im very happy to announce that i was able to watch 16 movies last march !! exciting!! i know ive said the last time that i quit the bingewatching thing but HONESTLY im in a work from home setup and the only way to keep me inspired is by watching a movie ... i am yet to find other ways to stay inspired so watching movies will just do for now... ALSO im gonna try to update my newsletter for the first time this year and itll probably be about the movies that i saw this march that i liked ! im now comfortable with turning the newsletter to be more about movies bcs nothing major has been happening in my life lol . so pls stay tuned for that newsletter post if ur interested!

another thing is ive decided to make this blog more personal! for the past year ive made this blog to be more about movies and gifs and stuff, and as much as i love getting the notes and reading ppl's tags, im going to try and make this blog work for me this time :) hope it doesnt get annoying or something... im also in the process of fixing my about pages and tags and all. ive used tumblr since 2012 so im still struggling with the setup. LIKE yes i want to maximize the fact that you can edit html pages and its cute and lets me be creative but at the same time, im on my phone majority of the time . and i dont like being on my laptop after work because ive literally just been using a laptop the whole day. for work. im rly shy to post some stuff about me (bcs i havent done it before fr insert the tom hanks dialogue from joe vs the volcano abt doing some soul searching and coming to the conclusion that hes just boring so he stops doing it) so if u see me doing it as an attempt to fix the personal pages on my blog, im sorry! AAAND as for the gifs thing, im thinking of changing my film diary tag, one thing i really enjoy is taking note of dialogues i love from a movie so i might just do screenshots. i really miss making gifs even though most of the gifs i end up with are LQ , but it just really isnt feasible now . (also some movies are just so tempting to gif LIKEEE valley girl and everytime we say goodbye 😭😭 it physically hurts me that i cant gif josh whitehouse and tom hanks in those movies....)

ALSO im really very very happy that ive gained new followers recently. i enjoy chatting with you guys and get so happy whenever i get the notif that someone sent me an ask/message!! ive been idle on stan twt/fandoms in general so its been a really long time since ive actually... talked to people... it makes me really happy talking to u and im sorry if my happiness doesnt show in my replies/posts. as i said, its been a while since ive done this and i usually go on here as soon as im off work (when my brain is semi-fried and the words are not wording anymore) . i hope i dont come across as bored/uninterested :(

i used to play violin and i was also pretty good at it, i was first chair in my orchestra and i ranked pretty highly in competitions when i did them. but i haven't played since like. 2020. and i've been enjoying having longer nails so.

sorry i havent been very active recently. these meds make me very restless, so sitting still at my laptop for long periods is difficult. therefore i have been using my laptop only to study, and then getting up and doing something else. which means i dont spend much time on tumblr unfortunately.

i am still here, and i check my notifications regularly so if you tag me in something or reply to one of my posts i still see it! i just might not respond, and i havent been answering asks very often either.

i promise im not dead or ignoring anyone, and i will hopefully be more active again once some of these darn side effects wear off!

For the ask anything, when/how did you get into Bleach? I only found your blog very recently and think it’s very cool, sorry if this has been asked before!

Bcs i just started watching BLEACH on 17 September 2024 (yup i went thru my album to check that) and didnt start posting arts until 28 sep 2024 on Xitter (started posting abt Bleach on tumblr much later) 😭 i simply started it VERY VERY late ...(and i m now on ep318 on anime...havent read the manga or the novels yet) ...so its perfectly normal for u to just found my blog recently...if not thats a miracle loll

I remember Bleach as a side-character paradise while i was watching its pieces randomly with my relatives when i was kindergarten-levelly young and i really like it...so i decided to start it properly this summer (finally)(right after another childhood nostalgic era - kuroshitsuji)🥹

oh, no ma’am i wouldn’t call myself shy haha. i just hadn’t set up my writing sideblog until recently and honestly i havent written much fanfiction in a while. mostly been focusing on original work, and i’d rather keep all of that to myself until it’s good enough to try and publish.

i have started writing fanfic again though so, once i have a couple finished pieces that are good enough i’ll probably post them! and knowing me i wont stop talking about it for ages once i do so im sure you’ll hear about them from me haha.

and that’s understandable i hardly use ao3 since i’ve gotten back on tumblr :3 for its faults it’s a much more pleasant experience.

Hi! Sorry for the late reply! Yeah, I get wanting to keep your original work to yourself, until you're ready to try and publish. I usually do the same. Hahahha, well I look forward to the good news then! I'd be happy to read it. Honestly, the only reason why I love reading here so much is that I get to quickly find a suggested work and read it while i have some spare time. Whenever I read on AO3 I do it from my laptop and I haven't had the time for such things in ages! What I like to do on AO3 is download PDFs of works i find promising and read those on plane rides and trips abroad. That way I get to stay connected and enjoy some fanfic. <3
