genuinely didn't expect people to subscribe for more than 6 months when i made my twitch, so i didn't make a 12 month+ badge and now i have no ideas for it :/

The past badges are all storage devices in low detail style. it goes: floppy disk -> VHS tape -> DVD -> USB drive. but idk what i can put next...

logically it's a hard disk drive or an solid state drive right, but i feel like those aren't as recognisable or iconic as the other one's i've got? i mean a hhd could be, but idk if the scale would be too small for it to be recognisable.

idk, i thought about doing cassette but given the scale of these it'd be difficult to tell from a VHS i think. Same issue with memory cards looking too similar to floppy disks.

maybe i just make the DVD icon blue, and have it be a blu-ray disk lmao

i will never forget in 2022 when i went to the same starbucks every day for like 4 months. and every day i ordered the same thing (grande iced matcha latte with oat milk). and every day it was the same barista and he was so rude to me every single time. and then one day i got in line and he immediately started making my matcha latte when he saw me and as i went to grab it off the counter, he stopped me and looked in my eyes and said "i'm sorry i'm such an asshole to you every day. this job sucks everyone is such a dick to me and youre the only regular who isnt so i take it out on you. and that probably wont change but im sorry anyway." and then the next time i went, he was rude as fuck to me again like nothing had ever happened. life is so strange.

please i love you i'm begging you bring back suspension of disbelief bring back trusting the audience like. i cannot handle any more dialogue that sounds like a legal document. "hello, i am here to talk to you about the incident from a few minutes ago, because i feel you might be unwell, and i am invested in your personal wellbeing." "thank you, i am unwell because the incident was hurtful to me due to my childhood, which was bad." I CANT!!!!

do you know how many people are mad that authors use "growled" as a word for "said"? it's just poetics! they do not literally mean "growled," it's just a common replacement for "said with force but in a low tone." it's normal! do you hear me!! help me i love you please let me out of here!!!

yknow i never noticed the sheer rareness of images having ids or alt text on this website until i started adding alt text to my art (and trying to remember to add it to any images i post in general, especially text screenshots) and that makes me kinda sad

#i used to be pretty intimidated by the idea of having to describe my art but. it isnt as hard as it sounds #i just treat it like im describing an image i dont have at the time really #plus ive been told that even a simple id is better than no id #lev.txt
