Jason and Rose have been discussing for a while regarding Jason becoming a plantsim. Jason’s brought it up casually in numerous conversations but Rose has always been hesitant as she wanted Jason to be 100% sure - you lose a lot of things after becoming plantsim y’know? The ability to sleep comes to mind. Jason quickly reassured her that this is what he wants and seeing his sincerity, Rose happily blew some pollen in his face.
And poof! Jason’s in his plantsim era now.

Personal Mod List
I was asked by anon if I could post my personal mod list too and well, apart from my must haves these are the mods I currently have in my downloads folder. I am always searching for new mods to test and hopefully incorporate into my gameplay, yes looking @ you Story Progression! So of course, this list is ever changing. Credits to all mod creators listed below! ♡
Anywho, thanks for requesting this anon! /ᐠ ̥ ̮ ̥ ᐟ\ฅ
Note: Asterisks (*) before the name means the mod has also been added to my must haves list. You can check it out here.
Autonomy Control -- Restrain the townies who oft drop by. Inhibit the playables with homes of their own. Bridle the Students who refuse to die. The Choice of Autonomy is now yours alone.
*Soft Shadows -- Turns the blobby outdoor shadows into soft ones, like in the family portrait and indoors. Great for screenshots.
No Kicking Trash -- For the life of me, I couldn't find the exact mod I have but I found Squinge's mod as an alternative.
Torment Enabled -- Allows children to torment anyone.
Toddlers Eat Flowers -- All toddlers can increase their hunger level through eating flowers, not just plantsims.
Reservable Crib -- Allows you to reserve a crib for an individual baby or toddler.
Realistic Sized Muffin -- Fixes the size of the muffin from the toy oven.
Baby Gate -- Fully functional baby gate based on the Kinder Keep Away baby gate from TS3 Store World, Aurora Skies.
Play Group Service -- When you use the phone service a Playgroup van is dispatched immediately, if your toddlers are already at playgroup then it will return them, otherwise it'll come and pick them up.
Kids Camp -- Send children and teens to camp for the weekend. The phone call is only available Friday afternoons (until 10:00pm) and Saturday mornings (from 8:00am) arriving home Sunday (at 5:00pm). Fee is $40.00 per child.
Relationship Panel Remover -- Allows you to remove unwanted sims from the relationship panel screen.
Senior Center -- Elder sims can leave the lot for awhile to the Senior Center. Gain fun and social motives, a chance chard of learning a new skill, crafting a hobby item, or meeting another elder sim.
Ask about Family -- A simple 'Ask.../About Family' sim menu plugin.
Kids Pick Flowers for Mom - self-explanatory. so cuteee!
Orphan Display Cot -- I like to use this in my adoption center lots so I can go and adopt a random baby if i'd like to.
Strays Always Accept Adoption -- self-explanatory bc why wouldn't they want a home :(
Nap More Energy -- Sims get a little more energy from napping.
Fun Gain on Phone -- Sims have more fun on the phone.
No Autonomous Swing Child -- Curbs autonomous behavior of adult sims swings children around. I find this annoying in my gameplay along with playing the piano and the read to interaction.
Cops Can Fight Burglars -- Allows sims in the cop career track OR who used to be a cop NPC to fight burglars and regain your stuff.
There Can Be Only One Professor -- Game will generate one rather than two professors for each major. Gender will be random.
Copy of Diploma -- Give your sims a copy of their diploma if they lost it or need to hand one out after upgrading them with the bat box.
Hide Mascot Clothes -- Hides fugly mascot clothes from CAS menu.
*Deadly Werewolves -- Werewolves can maim and ravage sims with the chance of killing them.
*Vampires Can Drink Blood and Turn Sims into Ghouls -- self-explanatory.
Beg for Money -- Sims are able to panhandle whenever.
*Hidden Interactions -- This is a set of three global mods that unlock hidden interactions that are normally only performed autonomously. Also a part two!
No Life Skills -- Disables wants for learning life skills like lifelong happiness, fire prevention, couple's counseling, etc.
*Simnopke's Sliders -- 24 face sliders available in CAS, plastic surgery machine, and Bodyshop.
*Better Butler Meals -- Butlers will stop slacking off by cooking crap like ramen and TV dinners.
*No Whining at Missing Objects -- self-explanatory lol.
Low Food Warning -- notifies you when stock in fridge is low.
Polygamous Marriage -- The base game wedding arch now has the option for a marriage of convenience/polygamous marriage. The social from Marhis’ arch has been modified and included as well to work with maxis arches by midgethetree. Pretty sure i have ask to leave partner from here too.
*Chat in Pool - Sims can now chat while swimming!
*No Bathroom Dishes -- Dishes will not be washed in the bathroom. Affects all sinks by placement, not by type of sink. Truly, it is More Awesome Than You.
*Lockable Garage Doors -- Allows garage doors to be locked like other doors.
Outdoor Lights -- Outdoor lights will stay on until 7 am rather than 2 am.
Baby Control -- Adds the "Make Selectable" option for babies. I like to use it to cheat the babies needs if I had to.
Doorbell Quieter -- the doorbell is more quiet lol.
*Front Door Hack -- Sims won't go to your garage door or back door to ring the doorbell.

Round Robin Legacy Neighbourhood Challenge
A possibly over-ambitious idea, but one I'm legitimately hyped for and think would be really cool to try out!! Could get a little complicated, so please read the rules carefully.
I’ll work out official sign ups later today (so more people get a chance to check it out, if interested), but if anyone wants to discuss this in more detail or has any questions/concerns/critique, message me privately or hop onto Discord. I don’t wanna keep cluttering people’s dashes with discussion, haha.
Legacy Rules
Money - no money cheats! We won't know for sure if you cheat of course, but let's try to keep some of that classic legacy "challenge" in there. If any sims move out, they can keep the default £20,000 handout.
Lots & Housing - Lot size is irrelevant. No restrictions on moving house and entirely up to you whether to move the heir out on their own, keep them living with parents, move the entire family, etc.
College - no college as it slows things down too much! We want this legacy to be as viable as possible :)
Spouses - anyone can be moved in as a spouse, townies, NPCs, whatever. Hell, maybe your heir is poly and gets multiple spouses? It's all good.
Aspirations/LTW/Turn Ons - randomise these!
Supernaturals - these are allowed! let’s get wacky
Heir selection - Heir polls are obligatory! Only the first three kids are heir-candidates. The family can have as many as they want, but only the first three count. The family can have less than three as well, if you don't feel like raising all those sim-kids, though it's good to have at least two for the heir poll.
Playing the spares - Optional! Spares (or hell, previous generations too) can be townified, kept around, or played. Just keep in mind playing extra households will increase the time spent on a generation, so keep it reasonable. One option is to manually age them up using cheats, mods, or the freetime feature.
Age - Each heir gets to start their life with a full life bar even if they spent a few days as an adult "back home" waiting for all candidates to transition. (Use elixir of life or mods for this - otherwise no elixir of life abuse!)
Hacks & CC - do whatever you like here, just as long as it won't cause problems for later players (avoid, for example, stuff like mermaids where later players won't have the required mods!)
Bodyshop CC - allowed since everyone usually makes over sims to match their own styles anyway - but avoid using custom genetics such as skintones & eyes. Stick to defaults!
Neighbourhood Rules
Editing - Feel free to edit the neighbourhood to your liking, including adding new lots or making over existing ones!
Downloaded lots - You can also add lots you've downloaded rather than building them yourself if desired.
CC - Try to avoid using Custom Content in your decorating where possible, to avoid causing trouble for the next player in the chain. Some small amounts of CC are ok - just remember they won't stick the following generation!
Custom Memories & Food - avoid stuff like this! Any mods that can cause corruption when removed are likely to cause trouble. If you’re not sure what is/isn’t dangerous, best to avoid and play as CC/mod lite as you can :)
Multi-PT/Plantsim mods - please avoid these, too!
Townies - We will be starting out with this default replacement townie pool
feel free to age some of them up (using freetime, or mods) or add new townies to the pool when it is your turn.
If some of them just float around agelessly for the entire 10 generations, not a problem! that’s the classic legacy vibe ;)
Subhoods - We won't be starting out with any vacation destinations or downtowns but, if you would like to add these yourself when it's your turn feel free :)
Maxis vacations, default downtown, custom cc-free hoods, whatever! Just make sure any custom subhoods you add are safe & clean, follow the advice below.
Corruption - Please practice good neighbourhood "hygiene" & make sure you are careful to avoid neighbourhood corruption as per this guide!
Make sure to run the Hoodchecker regularly, especially at the begining of your generation & before passing it on to the next person!
Backups - Make sure to back up the neighbourhood often in case anything goes wrong with it!
Finishing Up - When you have finished your generation & it is time to pass it over to the next person, ZIP or RAR your neighbourhood folder, and privately send it to the next person in the chain.
Post Rules
Please tag your posts with "Round Robin Legacy 2020"!
You can use whatever style you like to document your generation - happy family one generation, a screwball caption story the next, and an angsty overwrought extra-posed one the third. That’s part of the fun, seeing the different takes on each generation.
You do need to document somehow, though!
What Ifs
People Who Drop Out: If the installment doesn't get posted or the player says "Sorry, I started with the heir, but real life interfered, I can't do it right now" it goes to the next person on the list.
If the neighbourhood becomes corrupted/broken: We will stop using the "Legacy Neighbourhood" and instead package & upload the heir. The next player in the chain will then start out a new generation in a new neighbouroohd as per the "classic" round-robin rules: https://roundrobin-sims.livejournal.com/466.html
Requirements
All participants must have a basic knowledge of playing "safely" and keeping the neighbourhood corruption-free (as much as possible, sometimes this happens for no obvious reason so you won’t get “in trouble” if something goes wrong)
All participants must be able to use SimPE (to extract clones & fix DNA and stats) and Bodyshop (to include any CC used that generation, if desired). This is so that if the “legacy hood” goes wrong we can easily switch to the “classic” ruleset.
All participants must have all EPs - having some SPs missing should be okay!
All participants should be able to finish playing/posting their generation within a month or two - we want to keep this legacy viable and it's not fair to the other participents if it ends up on indefinite hiatus.

TS4 Vampiric Balance Challenge!
Hey loves! I’ve been playing by these rules loosely since I started thinking of them yesterday and I think it would be fun for others too! So, if you take on the challenge let me know so I can make sure I’m following and see how it goes!!
Rewards:
At the end of the challenge (7/22, my birthday!) TWO of the simmers who participate that I’ve been following will receive an origin code for a TS4 stuff pack of their choice!
How to participate:
Make sure we’re mutuals! Follow me and make sure I’m following you. Just so you can get updates and all that jazz. You can unfollow me as soon as the challenge is over, I won’t be offended! ^_^
Comment on this post, reblog, or message me stating that you intend to participate in the challenge!
Reblog this post to spread awareness! The more the merrier!!
Make sure you have the sims 4 Vampires installed!
Make sure your vampires are MORTAL. Long lifespans are okay but either set them as mortal or use a mortal vamps mod. The mortal vampires mod is currently borked by the new patch. Use MC Command center or just move them out instead when the next gen reaches YA.
Follow the rules for each generation below. Feel free to ask if you need clarification.
Post at least one post with some screenshots and information for each generation. More if you want!
Prizes:
2 participants chosen at random will win 1 TS4 stuff pack of their choice unless one of the following conditions is in effect.
If only 3 people participate all three will get stuff packs. If only one person participates they will receive Either a combo pack of their choice (Each contains 2 stuff packs and a game pack), 3 stuff packs of their choice, 2 game packs of their choice, or one full expansion of their choice. Up to them!
If the winners already have all of the content for ts4 they will receive either an origin gift card code or the next released stuff pack or game pack.
That’s it! I’ll be choosing the winners via RNG so it’s fair to everyone!
Rules:
-You may makeover spouses once to your liking but may not makeover children (Except for skin/hair/eye colours) until they are teens.
-You may makeover the heirs of each generation one time when they become teens. You may change their hair/skin/eye colours whenever you like however but just once! Outfit changing is fine any time!
-You make decorate however you like.
-You may use any cheats (including needs, same sex pregnancy, pregnancy, or money cheats) or cheat-type mods except for the following:
Free/Reduced cost vampire perk cheats.
Feeding tweak cheats.
Aging cheats or commands.
Skills or relationships cheats or commands.
Collection, free item, etc cheats.
Promotion cheats.
Any cheats the generation specifically says aren’t allowed.
Challenge set up:
Make sure you’re using a fairly large lot. There are going to be a lot of simmies by the end! Make sure the lot has the “Haunted” trait, “Vampire lair” trait, and one other trait of your choice.
NO free vampire perks cheats, skills cheats, etc. Needs cheats are okay in most gens unless stated.
Build your house or download one from the gallery. Make sure it has a basement and a second (or top, whatever level. I use 4 levels: Basement (Dark rooms), First floor (living areas) Second Floor (Teen and Under rooms), and Third floor (Light rooms). Money cheats are okay!
Start with 2 sims, twin vampires. They can be any gender/sex combo you want and don’t have to be the same. One must have the good trait and the other must have the evil trait. Both must have the vampiric family aspiration. These are your founders!
These founders must reach the highest level of vampirism and obtain all vampiric powers.
Generation 1:
1 sim must gain level 10 in the Gardening, Herbalism, and Cooking skills
The other must gain level 10 in the Singing, Painting, and an instrument.
You must hire a maid for daily service. One sim must turn that maid into a vampire. The other sim must marry that maid.
The other spouse must be a townie, any non-vampire premade sim will do. One sim must turn them into a vampire and the other must marry them. (So each sim turns one spouse and their sibling marries the one they turned)
EVIL sim may never ask permission to drink.
GOOD sim may never compel for drink.
Twins must have high relationship despite their differences!
EVIL sim may only woohoo in Coffin until children are conceived.
GOOD sim may only woohoo in bat form until children are conceived.
Each twin must have 2 children, one with the good trait, one with the evil trait.
Between the household generation one must complete one collection. (As far as the game expansions you own allow)
Generation 2:
Use a money cheat to resent family funds to 100 simoleons only when the second generation reaches young adulthood.
With the family money gone, the second generation sims need to get jobs! They are now the main sims. Move the first generation either into another house on the property or out of the master bedrooms. Leave them on the property unless they die. Record deaths and how they died. Do not revive them unless one of the 2nd gen has a whim to do so.
One sim must level the following skills to ten: Painting, Gardening, Science.
That sim must join the doctor career and advance to the furthest level.
One sim must level the following skills to ten: Cooking, Herbalism, Instrument
That sim must join the culinary career and advance to the furthest level.
One sim must level the following skills to ten: Singing, Woodworking, Handiness.
That sim must join The astronaut career and advance to the highest level.
The last sim must level the following skills to ten: Logic, Mischief, Photography
That sim must join the secret agent career and advance to the highest level.
One or more sims in this generation must discover aliens!
One of the sims in this generation must marry another life state (Human, Alien, or plantsim)
Two of the sims in this generation must marry another vampire.
One of the sims in this generation must not marry.
Between this generation they must complete one collection (as far as the game expansions you own allow)
Each sim of this generation may have as many children as you like but they must have at least one. You can choose the heirs when they reach TEEN. Spares will be moved out upon reaching adulthood. You can choose traits as you like BUT 2 of the heirs must be evil and 2 must be good.
Generation 3:
If they are still alive generation 1 must be moved out of the lot to make room.
The 3rd generation must have the following career/skill combos:
Detective: Writing, Logic, Photography - Must complete 5 mystery/crime novels and advance to the highest level of the detective career.
Tech Guru: Video Gaming, Programming, and Baking - Must win 1st place in a Hillock II tournament and advance to the highest level of the tech guru career.
Entertainer: Charisma, Career related skill (Comedy for comedians, music for a musician, etc.), and Cooking. -Must create ambrosia and reach the highest level of the entertainer career.
Scientist: Rocket science, Wellness, Fishing - Must learn to teleport and reach the highest level in the scientist career.
These are career oriented sims. They don’t have time to complete any collections.
Two sims must marry an alternate life-state (plantsim, alien, or human)
Two sims must marry other vampires.
Have all four sims try for baby at the same time with their spouses. The first Evil and First Good to have a baby (no cheats!) are the parents of the next gen heirs. Each of them must have a second child. Each must have one evil and one good child.
Generation 4:
Generation 3 spares and their parents must be moved out if they’re still alive. Buh Bye!
Generation 4 is keen to live off of the money their parents and aunts/uncles made. Do not give them careers. They may have part-time jobs.
This generation must complete 2 collections to make up for last gen (and because they have nothing better to do, the slackers!)
This generation must grow one of every FRUIT in the game and splice them into one super fruit plant.
One sim from this generation must max the gardening skill and Evolve at least 6 plants to highest quality.
One sim from this generation must max the writing skill and complete at least 6 novels.
One sim from this generation must max the fitness skill. Then make them gain a bunch of weight.
One sim from this generation must woohoo with at least 6 other sims.
Two sims from this generation must marry vampires.
One sim from this generation must marry a human.
One sim from this generation may not marry but must have a child with a vampire.
Each of these sims must have 2 children. One good and one evil.
Generation 5 (Final!)
Use a cheat to reset the family funds to 100 simoleons.
Put all collectibles, rewards, earned items in the inventory of the heirs.
Move out all sims but the 8 heirs.
Bulldoze the lot completely.
Each sim must have a different way of making money. Careers, jobs, store ownership, etc. They may change jobs as well!
This generation must finish one more collection.
This generation must build a new home for themselves with space to display all collections that were completed.
This generation must have a garden to grow food.
This generation may not use money cheats.
This generation may marry whomever they wish.
This generation must invite every family member from previous generations over at least once if they are still alive.
This lot must have the “Cursed” lot trait along with “Vampire Lair” and one other trait of your choice.
At least one sim from this generation must be cured of vampirism.
At least one sim from this generation must turn at least 3 other sims into vampires.
You cannot use needs cheats this generation.
All of the heirs must survive until their parents die. Since mortal vamps mod is borked just make sure they all reach the highest level of vampirism with all vampire powers.
These heirs must make at least 100k simoleons.
The challenge ends when all of the above are completed.
Remember to take gameplay pictures! Make it fun and interactive! Post and enjoy!! I’ll choose the winners after my birthday and hand out the codes. ^_^

A LOT has happened!
And unfortunately I did not get a whole lot of images because I was just playing the game. Lets see.
I installed some mods-the Extreme Violence and I already had a mod that allowed you to marry while you were technically involved with other Sims. Renee has a new look, she got extensions! Her and Mortimer got a divorce after she finally had enough of him. She kept his kids locked in the basement downstairs though and for a while he was even kept down there. Johnny’s son Mario has aged up and so has Renee and Morts daughter, Jimena. After I installed the EV mod, Alexander murdered the Nanny I had locked in the basement to help raise the kids. Alexander and Cassandra were the only ones left and Cassandra tried to be nice to Alexander because she witnessed the murder! Not too much longer, like a couple days outside of the game, Alexander actually committed suicide, and Renee let Cassandra out of the basement because of it. There was a lot of mourning going around, which was sort of annoying, since only Cassandra was the one who once again witnessed the trauma. Another couple of exterior days go by and Cassandra is invited out by Bella, her mother. Turns out they only go across the street and Cassandra actually commits a murder-suicide! She shot and killed her mother and then stabbed herself! I was a little shocked by the events but I guess when you’ve grown up the way you have it was inevitable. Renee sort of cared but she was preoccupied twerking for money and prostituting herself to really give a care. It seemed only when she went home did her moodlet go to sad. Couldn’t figure that one out for a while until I realized both the urns were across the street from the house, and I guess it was somehow effecting her? I did not realize this until one day Malcolm Landgrabb came over and him and Renee had some WooHoo times. Renee was thinking about marrying him, and actually did get pregnant by him. She invited him over to stay the night. Renee was asleep in the bedroom when suddenly Jimena and Mario started freaking out. I zoomed in on them and saw Bella’s ghost in the house, shooting up the place! Malcolm actually got hit by a bullet and died in our backyard. Renee tried to plead for his life but the Grim wasn’t having it. That was pretty disappointing. Renee was pregnant and her child was never going to know Malcolms money as a father. She did end up giving birth to a girl, who’s name is Willow. Right now it’s just Renee, Mario, Jimena and Willow, with Mario and Jimena having aged up again into adults. After I saw Bella killing Malcolm, I had Renee release both Bella and Cassandra’s spirits into the Nether because I did not want them coming back into the house and killing another potential mate. At one point Alexander came to haunt the house, and Renee had ghost sex with him. Oh yeah, and I accidentally turned Renee into a Plantsim by cheating. That was an accident...I was trying to make Alexander feck off but hit “Plantsim” and for some reason it affected Renee instead. Going to try to get her preggers while a Plant and see if her child turns out green or something! What a crazy life this Sim leads.

Replies (a bit late, oops)
dezzydoesthings replied to your post “Hey Midge! I was wondering if there were any way you could enable the...”
They can wear normal hair now?!?!
Yep! You can also use that mod in conjuction with this one so they never gain the plantsim hair in the first place (maybe with an unlocker for the plantsim hair if you still want to be able to give some plantsims that hair), but even without other mods my "plantsims can use mirrors” mod should be enough to allow you to give plantsims normal hair with any standard mirror.
sushigal007 replied to your link “midgethetree | CC Potions Made Better”
I like the look of these, but I think I'll stick with my aspiration rewards ones - I like the option of failure!
Once I’ve officially released “cc potions made better” I’ll provide a tutorial for customizing it to add/remove other potions to the list, so if you want to have your cake and eat it too you can ;)
jellymeduza replied to your link “midgethetree | CC Potions Made Better”
I really love the idea of witches making all those potions. Thank you for including my potions in your mod!
I've wanted witches to be able to craft these potions for ages, which is why I’m glad I got a request for the buy social to encourage me to finally make the crafting mod as well. And thank you for making such nice potions!
anonymous asked:
Hello. I wanted to ask if it is possible for Sadepäiva's 4t2 Flamingo Floats to make the object usable like the Shaklin air mattress. So that the Sim in the water as on the Shaklin air mattress on the Flamingo Floats could sit or lie on it.
I can’t find those objects and am not interested enough to hunt them down. Sorry!

Hi! Could you edit Pescado’s ‘Clothing Tool’ (actually, extract a function of it)? Because it is a mod, with a clothing object. It has a ‘Plan Outfits when Growing Up’ which is not related to the object. Could you extract this function for me? I would do it myself if I knew the right files.
Are you asking about the globals that bring up the plan outfits dialog automatically when a sim grows up? Those are already available in a separate package called “clothingtool-globals”.
EDIT: Okay, I can see that the globals depend on the object being in your downloads folder and use its BHAVs “CT - Change Suit”, which uses “Interaction - Reoutfit”, which uses “Sub - Reoutfit”, which uses “TEST - Have Choices?”. It isn’t enough to just have the BHAVs extracted though, since the globals use the object’s GUID to call upon the BHAVs in the first place. If you aren’t going to attach the BHAVs to another object you might need to turn them into true globals, I.E. BHAVs with group 0x7FD46CD0 (if so, Maxis already has claimed instances 100-67B, I’ve made a few in the 680s range and have plans for more, Cyjon’s used 808 for a smarter EP check, and there are other custom globals out there as well), for other BHAVs to be able to call upon them effectively.
