exciting announcement from russell t davies: mullvad vpn and qbittorrent have obtained exclusive rights to doctor who in australia and other commonwealth countries
#disney+ are getting exclusive rights to doctor who outside of the uk and ireland#seems like a win win right? brits still get it for free#and americans who had to pay for it anyway get it on a streaming service people actually use?#except they fucking forgot the rest of the world#doctor who has been on the australian public broadcaster the abc for 60 years#its provide funding to episodes and iirc its recovered a ton of missing episodes#but now we're being thrown under the bus along with the rest of the commonwealth for fucking DISNEY of all megacorporations#i have a d+ account anyway im just pissed off at the principle#my grandma watched the show since it was in black and white#if she were still alive it would be totally locking her out#and its certainly locking tons of people like her out#i know i cant quit this show but i was seriously considering it which#i mean i didnt think ANYTHING cpuld get me to think that what with how hyped i was for the 60th#we finally get out from under chibnalls awful writing and they slap us in the face#my posts#doctor who
