Seriously... The Fullbringer Arc Bankai form, Ichigo's newfound, nonchalant, self assurance... The way this was — for me at least — the perfect time for Ichigo to embrace all of his facets and find balance...
... GRABBING A FUCKING CERO WITH HIS HANDS!?
The shihakusho
The Zanpakuto
The new Tensa Zangetsu
The white details
The tattoos/markings on his skin
The overall fierceness in his eyes
It could have ended here.
It should have ended here.
We could have had a flash forward to Ichigo graduating university, with the captains and lieutenants in Gigai attending.
We could have had a close up of Ichigo smiling fondly at them.
We could have had a fade to black scene with whichever voice you'd prefer, (I'd prefer Byakuya for many reasons, not all of them pertaining to shipping.) saying:
"Ready to go home?"
And Ichigo, with a low rumbling chuckle:
"Ready."
The last image is a Senkaimon opening with a bunch of Jigokucho flying out.
End Theme with scenes of everyone, years afterwards.
The former Karakura Team, flourishing, with a World Of The Living squad, that had taken on the mantle and responsibilities Ichigo used to have. Karin is with them, donning a shihakusho herself.
Yuzu, with a doctor's coat lab, opening the door of the Kurosaki clinic.
Isshin going through the Karakura hospital's corridor, a patient chart in his hand, talking with Ryuken.
Keigo, Mizuiro and Tatsuki, walking by the river, looking at photos and laughing. We get a close up of Mizuiro's hand to see one of the tickets Kyoraku gave them.
Finishing with our own peek at the photos they were looking at...
It's images of the Seireitei:
Ichigo with the Academy uniform, smiling widely
Kenpachi moping because he didn't want to take a picture.
Ikkaku, Yumichika and Hisagi waving at the camera.
Hitsugaya, being photographed from above, glaring at the camera.
Matsumoto hugging Hinamori and Nanao tightly. The other woman are wide eyed.
A photo of all of the captains in front of the First Squad's offices
All of the lieutenants having a picnic and cheering with their sake cups.
The first official photo of Ichigo with his new Squad mates (preferably the 11th)
Ichigo sitting on the engawa of the Kuchiki Manor, between Rukia and Byakuya, Renji by Rukia's side. Byakuya is smiling widely.
End credits.
#bleach#ichigo kurosaki#the perfect ending#plot wise we didn't need TYBW#we gain nothing except more confusion#sure we had '''some''' good fights!#Long Hair Byakuya is on my list of PLEASE AND THANK YOU items#the banter between Byakuya and Toshiro is awesome#but still....#i didn't like the revival of the supposedly extinguished Quincy#i didn't like the new lore around them nor the Soul King#i don't like squad zero#i don't like the changes in the storyline we already had.#i fucking hate Yhwach and his fucking almighty and his fucking prophecy#i hate unbeatable characters... i have overpowered characters#give me flaws in their powers#give me weak points#give me a place to drive a sword and fucking kill them!

I'm gonna go on a bit of a rant here (again) (this is gonna be a bit over the place, I'm awful at actually putting my brain down lol)
While I'm a fan of power scaling and 'who would win's?', one thing I really, really hate is when superman is brought into the question, or Batman as well.
Why I hate it is because how boring they are in these. Superman immediately wins, Batman immediately wins because 'prep time' or because 'it's superman.'
And I get it, Superman is literally 'That Guy' for DC, I do. But because of how overpowered he is, and because of dudebros, it immediately makes any fight with him so fucking boring because he won't struggle. He won't have to make an effort, he'll just one shot them blah blah blah.
It's why so many people don't like Superman, because he's been portrayed as a god, unfeeling and simply a tool for people to say, 'he sweeps' without explaining why or how he wins, which would at least make it a bit interesting. When Clark is written well, I;E as someone who actually has emotions, people get surprised because of how deeply their characters have been butchered.
(Batman using guns and abusing his kids, Superman seeing himself as above humanity. These two get their characters massacred the worst out of everyone and it sucks.)
What makes fights between powerful characters entertaining and fun is HOW they fight each other.
How do they counter attacks? How do they injure each other? How do they dodge each other's attacks? How do they use their surroundings and terrain, their intelligence and tools? That's what makes it interesting.
To just summarize a fight with "oh he just flicks a finger and the other guy explodes that's it" like. No. That's not an interesting fight, a shameful way of writing a fight.
It's why I avoid anything regarding battles between Supes or Hulk, of Saitama, or Goku, not just because the comments will be utterly insufferable, but because I know it's going to bore me out of my mind. Especially when they act like the other character isn't powerful, and is just some weakling.
With Batman, I hate Batgod.
Batman is a human. Peak human, incredibly intelligent and a damn invaluable fighter, but still human. I hate it, when people just say he wins bc 'prep time', especially if he's fighting a powerful character for the first time, you can't prepare for the first encounter that happens in a death battle.
I like seeing characters struggle during battles, I like it when they put effort in. I like it when they have weaknesses and aren't just a flat character of 'oh he's unbeatable' with no other defining features.
The best stories with them are when they're struggling, mentally or physically, when they have to test their beliefs and their physicality.
TLDR: learn how to write creative fight scenes using elements from their characters and not just how hard they can punch for the love of fucking god if this keeps happening I'm going to shoot every fight scene creator istf-
#a rant#i know some people are gonna scream at me but udc#badly written overpowered characters suck more than any kind of characterization#i hate it so much i swear#but also both MCU and DC sweep BNHA#like. Deku with OFA user powers is basically a knock off Spider-Man come at me#I saw someone try to argue that BNHA wouldn't be swept by the thing alone#and they said Shinso coukd defeat him and I was like.uh. NO.#no hate to the purple haired eyebags but he isn't making the top 100 of telepaths and mental fuckerers#bfr#Venom would sweep BNHA#All Might and Deku are not impressive by marvel and DC standards I'm not sorry#this turned into a rant all on its own#unrelated but#any Spider-Man could sweep Gotham. Just saying. Maybe they'd be affected mentally but physically#they'd sweep like they're the sweeper from Baldi's basics#that has to do with the fact that gotham rouges are human levels and their superhuman ones are like. nada compared.#i saw jt in tiktok a lot and i hate my vouce on camera and i have no idea where to find clips so here i am.

How do you think chapter 7 is gonna go down? We know it's going to have Malleus dealing with his long life and everyone's by comparison short livesI'm sure he's going to put the school in dream, like a lotus eater machine, because he can't rewind time but he sure can make a dimension where time doesn't move.A dimension where everyone gets their wishes granted and don't feel the need to leave the school.Unless you really wanted something that he couldn't provide, like going to a magicless world.
I don't know about the wishes thing. I don't really see that happening, but my guess is it will probably have to do with something like him snapping. I joked before how funny it would be if Malleus snapped because there's this huge event and Idia interacts with Malleus like "damn, you didn't get invited? That's rough, buddy. I'm a nobody, and even they invited me, lol." Boom, angry dragon. That and maybe Malleus is reminded that the mc has to leave eventually and he doesn't want that because they're basically one of his first and only friends. Dragon instinct to hoard, you know?
Okay, but on a serious note, I think it's highly likely that Malleus is gonna do something huge with his magic that might affect the whole school, island, or even more. I just hope they do something else too like build on his character, make him more flawed, SOMETHING for the love of god. Because I cannot begin to explain how I loathe characters that are simply so ridiculously overpowered and the favorites of the fandom. Like, the pretty/handsome almost perfect royal character that's practically unbeatable and every fan loves it. I don't like that. Like, sometimes I forget Malleus is an all powerful fae and he has little moments that nearly get me to like him then they bring up his seemingly infinite powers again and I'm back to hating him.

I hate when people act like Cassandra is invincible tbh, I feel like it’s a disservice to her character. It flattens her, puts her on a pedestal. Make no mistake, Cassandra is definitely the most skilled fighter in the Batfam, one of the best in the world, but that doesn’t make her unbeatable and I hate when fandom interprets it that way. Also when people attribute skills to her that she doesn’t have, or don’t understand what her abilities are. She’s not omniscient, she’s not a computer, she’s not a human mood ring. She interprets body language. She can only interpret the things she recognizes, and she can’t derive what the source of the feeling is just out of thin air. She’s strong and she’s capable but she nowhere near infallible. She’s not untouchable
Precisely!!
That's one thing today especially (on twitter more than here) where I've seen some people getting mad about Duke being a pretty equal match for her in the preview for his secret files story while they're sparring... but that makes perfect sense!
Duke's a meta, and one aspect of his powers precognition! Which helps him out in fights similarly to (but possibly even more effectively than because it's genuinely seeing the future) how Cass' skills with body language let her predict someone's movements. Now that he's been training with her and the Outsiders for a while, OF COURSE they'd be able to go up against one another with pretty comparable skill!
Cass in general while she is pretty established as 'one of the most skilled hand-to-hand fighters in the DCU'... that is among normal human hand-to-hand fighters. She does not have that same upper hand with Metas, whose powers can be unpredictable and can definitely overpower her! That has been shown... like more than once? It's not a wild concept. Like yes she is good enough that some government people thought she was a meta, and she can probably still hold her ground against a lot of metas perfectly fine, but she's absolutely not untouchable the way some people act like she is.
Also just... she's human! Her emotions can get in the way, she can be distracted, she can have moments where she's not at her best. Perfect Angel Cass is just one of my biggest pet peeves in the fandom honestly, Cass wants to be perfect, she's a perfectionist, but treating her like she actually is perfect at everything is such a flattening of her character.
Her desire to be perfect and save everyone is something that can and will bite her in the ass! It's one of her character flaws that makes her interesting. Remember how she literally would rather die to be perfect for a year rather than live life 'mediocre'
(Batgirl (2000) #9)
That's not a healthy or good thing, but a character having that mindset? That is INTERESTING!
And later in Rebirth era even though that Cass isn't... quite the same, I do like what Kate points out about her, that she tries to fight other people's battles for them because she knows she has the skill to back it up, but that overextending herself can come back around to cause problems for her.
(Detective Comics (2016) #941)
But yeah Cass has limits, she's incredibly good there is no denying that and nobody should try to, but she's a human with limits.

Hello twstrhythm here, just on anon because twstrhythm is not my main account, just a side one connected to the main so asks or replies I make will not appear as twstrhythm.
Now to what I came to say. When I took a look at Ray/Jordan/whatever they are calling themselves' profile for their ocs, it seems like the information was pretty much just copy pasted from one another with small adjustments. And taking a look at their UM, or signature spells as they chose to go with, they seem to give their UMs only strengths without a weakness or handicap to them. Some of the ones we know in canon, have something that holds them back from being entirely op. Azul, for example, needs to have a signed contract to minimize the amount of blot he accumulates. If he uses his unique magic without the contract, the amount of blot he accumulates sky rockets.
Looking at the UM Jordan chose for their Mulan OC, Lin Chau (they could have gone for a better name. This just feels lazy with zero effort), they decided that she would be able "mimic and perfectly match any kind of attack her opponents are doing. She can copy any kind of physical attack and any kind of magic spell." While mimicking attacks isn't too OP on its own, being able to copy both physical and magic attacks without any consequences gives the UM too much strength. If they wanted to have a UM that mimics attacks, they could have chosen to go with either physical or magic attacks. Like how I had chosen to make it so my Mulan based oc can only copy physical attacks, but for a limited time. Being able to do both would make their oc unstoppable and unbeatable in a fight.
I had sent them a friendly message giving them some small advice on what they could do to make their oc a little less op, but they blocked me right after. Fine, I guess.
I still cannot wrap my head around the fact that this person is just blatantly refusing to accept help from people who are actually Chinese. I cannot believe that they actually think they know better for this when all signs have been pointing to the fact that they do not.
And a quick message to that anon that spoke of having an insecurity about the fact that Jordan could be copying their Mulan OCs: Don't worry. I understand you. I feel the same way having a Mulan based oc, myself. I'm thinking that Jordan may have been stalking the tags and taking ideas from existing OCs to try and make their own "unique" ocs. I'm sure your ocs are still unique because while many of us may have similar ideas, your ocs are your own creation using your own ideas. It's okay for some ocs to be similar to another seen online because sometimes it is nice to see people with similar ideas. As much as we all want to be the only one that did a twst oc based on a certain character, there is bound to be someone else out there with a similar idea. But that is not a bad thing. Be proud of yourself, you're doing great!
Hello Rhythm! Hope you are well.
I have nothing much to add, just confirming your statements about Jordan's copycat tendencies. It was evident from the moment they started posting their non-Yuu TWST OCs that they couldn't come up with an original thought to save their life.
And the overpowered UM just screams baby's first OC, which I wouldn't insult them for if they didn't suck as a person. Balance is important, especially when your goal is for other people to like your character, not just to have fun and go nuts.
I don't want to get too into it now, but they seem to crave the validation that comes with creating a fandom OC more so than wanting to have a good time making them, which is really sad but predictable of them at the same time.
It's indeed possible that she went sniffing for others' ideas and cherrypicked ideas she liked, but she still hates the thought of not being the first to come up with something so she would never admit to it even with some kind of proof if we had it.
And I absolutely agree with your message to the other anon! That's how it rolls in fandom spaces, you just have to keep your head up and focus on improving your own skills rather than what everyone else is doing. It's especially hard to be unique in an offshoot of the D*sney fanbase of all things.
Just have fun but be respectful. That's all you need to do :)

What's your opinion on overpowered Marinette?
Uuuuuugh. Let me tell you, there is exactly one reason I have never been a fan of SuperMan: even as a kid, I called bullshit on his only-one-weakness-but-a-million-powers crap. SuperMan always felt super overpowered and like a Gary Sue and it annoyed the living crap even out of six-year-old me.
I have the same feeling to most OP Marinette takes. Every now and then, someone manages to write an interesting version of an “OP” Marinette, but most of the time it pisses me off. It’s a pet peeve, I guess. Like, where’s the intrigue? The conflict? If any problem that comes up in your story can be instantly solved with no drama, then that’s either a bad story or you’re doing that on purpose because you’re pulling a One Punch Man sorta story. And that’s hard to pull off. Good stories need good conflict, and good conflict comes from legitimate struggle and panic and self reflection. Not all plots have to revolve around physical trouble, sure, but if you’re writing a superhero story with no physical struggles— I- I don’t understannnnd. I don’t get iiiiit.
I understanding wanting your fave character to be badass, but there is a difference between badass and unbeatable. Unbeatable is boring, Badass is fun. You can see your character push through limits and boundaries and struggle but make struggling look cool. Unbeatable is having a predictable beginning, middle, and end, and I hate that.
Just my personal opinion.

Erza and Ultear?
Erza
How I feel about this character: Sadly, Mashima made her boring for me.
All the people I ship romantically with this character: Jellal, of course! At least Mashima did right here, by making him her equal instead of a doormat. He understands Erza and shares with her this sense of righteousness and I like that shared ideology of them.
My non-romantic OTP for this character: Team Natsu. As I said before, I love teams as found family, and I love the idea of her having her own life and her own relationships aside of Jellal.
My unpopular opinion about this character: Dunno if it’s unpopular or not, but the overpowered and unbeatable character with no real struggles/stakes in battle, makes for a very boring/bland character and I think she had everything to not become that, but here we are *shrugs*
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: A battle with true stakes and consecuences. Seeing her fight and win alongside her friends through teamwork. Oh and also a better battle for her and Irene and both of them being able to have a second chance, thank you.
Ultear
How I feel about this character: At first I hated here but then I fell for her after knowing where she came from.
All the people I ship romantically with this character: Gray. Honestly, it would have been a great dynamic because I think Gray could become a beacon of light (aside of Meredy) to help her claw her way out of that pit of despair where she ended. I love these dynamics, and Gray is a no nonsense guy, ready to speak his mind and strong minded, and I think that’s the person Ultear needed and deserved. Adn then there is Jellal, which could go very dark and messy and tortuous towards redemption. I like that stuff, okay???
My non-romantic OTP for this character: Meredy for ever and ever. Her true light and a person worthy to live for. And also Jellal and the rest of the new Crime Sorciere. Ultear deserved a family and happiness too.
My unpopular opinion about this character: I am glad Mashima stuck to his guns and keep Ultear’s sacrifice permanent. It hurts, but reverting her back to her young self would had cheapened her sacrifice.
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: For the whole of Crime Sorciere to search and find Ultear so she can pass her last years of her life surrounded by her new found family, with Meredy and Jellal by her side. Because she deserves that much and not being all alone.
GIVE ME A CHARACTER

//on the topic of Ocs still, I've seen people just absolutely trash talking about Ocs who are seeing as overpowered (like making an Alicorn oc in the M.lp fandom for example) or just making a canon character more stronger than it already is. And also, refusing to interact with ocs from determined aus.
Let! People!! Be happy!! With ocs!! As soon they're not God-modding or being extremely unbeatable we're good! You see this person over my ask reply? I adore her stuff and I'm actually digging her AU lore to be more acknowledged about how it works! Even though we got no much interactions, I'd absolutely munch every single piece of lore (even if it hurts me)
And as of canon characters being weirdly strong, I get it because I myself am hesitant to make High Tide very strong in fear that it might seem that I'm giving him plot armor and even if I'm making him overpowered which... honestly makes me anxious. I know the tidbits I created might explain why is he that strong but still!! I am afraid that it might be too much because of people absolutely hating that (even though a few of them does that and thus making them hypocrites) so... yeah. This is why I sometimes refuse to make him angry or barely write him lately, because i want to describe his strength and I fear outsiders might say that I'm making him very op
TL;DR: if you judge people for making 'overpowered characters' for no reason but you yourself does that to the point of making them unbeatable then you have no place to talk buddy. Let them be happy as long they're doing nothing wrong

Hi yes hello my fellow frustrated DBD player, may I ask your opinion on the killers? Who’s the worst and best to you?
Oh, good question. I have some opinionated answers about this.
But first of all I have to explain something. I see people talking about DBD killers and survivors just by their powers, playstyle, and perks. I'm a writer, not a gamer, so I can't do that. In my opinions of the characters, I consider backstory, personality, lore, and theme in how much I like them. That's why Mikaela is so frustrating to me. Her perks are fine. Her character is a travesty.
Anyway, now that you know my criteria, here we go.
Uh, the worst killer is definitely Nemesis. Get him the fuck out of here. When DBD first came out, the devs explicitly stated that they wouldn't add any 'typical monsters' like vampires or werewolves or zombies. They broke that promise. I loved the idea that this game would include only uniquely created characters either by the game devs themselves or by other creators from movies. It seemed so fresh and creative. I know that Nemesis himself isn't a zombie, but the zombies come with him, and he's from a zombie game.
And that's another thing. People want to call Trickster a thematic disaster? Look at Nemesis! He's from a zombie shooter game. That doesn't fit with DBD at all. The whole fucking point of DBD is that you can't fight the monsters. You have to hide from and evade them. Having a tank villain from a shooter game, that you're just meant to pour bullets into, is just tacky in this setting. Jill and Leon are from a game where you fight back. DBD is not that kind of game. Plus it feels redundant to have a monster from another horror game in...a horror game. Pyramid Head gets away with it I guess, because his game is still the 'you can't fight, you have to run and hide' premise. Nemesis doesn't fit in DBD in the slightest. He's a horrible fucking horrible addition that should be removed entirely. He's a tank villain from a shooter zombie game. Why the fuck would he be in DBD? (Plus he's overpowered anyway. Get rid of the zombies entirely and maybe make his tentacle dick have less range.) Nemesis was just a sell-out to placate Gamer Bros who hated the Trickster. Not to mention I fucking hate Resident Evil and zombie games in general.
Cenobite is pretty bad too. I don't have a problem with him being in the game, he's just supremely overpowered. His chains make it impossible to do fucking anything, especially if people abuse the teleport power and drop survivors they're carrying just to go back and slug everyone else. I know some people have complained that he was underpowered without the chains, but that's still sucky. The way to balance a killer is not "they are so weak that they are unplayable, until they get this special power that is literally unbeatable." It's annoying to go up against a killer and not be able to do anything to counter them. There's literally nothing you can do when the chains catch you and you're being chased. Hooray. You're downed and you don't get to play. I hate playing matches that just feel pointless.
I also don't like Huntress that much. Playing against her is boring, and she's one of the killers that you run into most, so I get sick of her pretty quick.
In contrast, I think Trickster is one of my favorite killers. People only hated him because he was eye-candy for women instead of men this time. (And my god is he eye-candy...damn) and also they hate K-Pop stans. Okay, whatever, they're obnoxious. But the killer isn't a K-Pop stan and doesn't mean that DBD 'stans K-Pop' the fuck?? He was obviously inspired by Cyberpunk dropping. You can tell by his design and color scheme. Also, his whole backstory is about how shitty the K-Pop industry is. I can't believe people call him a 'thematic disaster' (yeah please give all my hatred to that specific youtuber directly) and then ignore the travesty that is Nemesis. The Trickster is a human who, for one reason or another, began killing people. That's the theme in DBD. They don't have to come from a specific background or have specific powers. In fact, most of them don't have crazy powers or backstories before the Entity takes them. What about Trickster doesn't fit with the game, other than the fact that people don't like K-Pop fans? I think Trickster very unique and creative. "The killers can't be pretty!!!" You say. But look! There's Nurse. She's beautiful. Spirit is pretty when her face isn't all contorted. And Plague is hot as fuck. Also....Pyramid Head is sexy and we all know that. Sexy killers are allowed. I also think it's super interesting that Trickster and Yun-Jin were good friends before all of this. It's the first time that the survivor and killer not only knew each other, but were on friendly terms and even cared about each other. That's so fucking interesting. Plus the sound design for Trickster kicks ass and I absolutely love it. They know exactly what they're doing to their audience.
I also really like Blight. His backstory is so sad and so very interesting. It's very cool to have a killer that's so deeply immersed in the lore of what the entity is and how everything got started. The Blight is so tragic. He's unique and his design is wonderful. I like the Nurse too. She's so creepy and also very tragic and sad.

I have many!!!! So I will start...
Izaya officially and canonically stated that he has seen Shizuo’s sleeping face and that it was cute (yep he used “kawaii” for how Shizuo looked while sleeping)
He also said that Shizuo is actually fun sometimes
Izaya said that yes, he wants Shizuo dead as soon as possible, but if he plans to live a bit longer, he should grow to be a bit more human, then he might like him more.
Just saying there but he specifically uses “motto suki ni nareru” –> that he would like him more than he already does.
Izaya likes Shizuo’s chin for whatever reason.
Ryohgo Narita, the author of Durarara!! stated that he had written Shizuo in because he thought Izaya needed a rival. he didn’t want Izaya to be an “unbeatable overpowered antagonist”. He needed someone that was going to be on an equal footing to Izaya, yet he also wanted to create a very human character. Thus, creating Shizuo Heiwajima.
Narita has also written a Shizaya fanfic as an April Fools joke.
The series itself suggests the pairing’s possibility because It is a series of twisted love and relationships, so one based on hate isn’t so incredibly out there Shinra, the character who has known them both the longest and arguably knows them both the best, is open to the idea
Shinichi ships Shizaya.
Orihara Izaya
So……the “Killing Machine” and the “Killing Monster” both ended up coming to Celty’s rescue even though they were involved in incidents completely unrelated to Celty……
Tsukumoya Shinichi
Ironic, isn’t it? Moreover, the one who made them so tame in the first place happened to be the person you hate the most, Shizuo.
Orihara Izaya
………
Tsukumoya Shinichi
Don’t start sulking like that. Ikebukuro needs a holiday. It’s a good thing that it’s not getting involved with you in Shinjuku again.
There was an Erika fantasy on one of the game (i think relay) that there was an auction that Izaya was about to be sold in. But luckily Shizuo helped him and with that he gets Izaya out bride style! Izaya seems to have lost his memories so the next dialogue is just amazing!
Izaya: Ahh… I’ve forgotten everything else, but I feel like I’ve seen your face before… To feel so at ease just from you holding me… Surely you were really close to me.
Shizuo: You don’t need to remember the past. Forget everything, including today. If you remember… I, won’t be able to love you anymore.
Tell me weird shizaya facts that arent largely known

It’s not about being creepy. It’s about making the fans’ favourite character ridiculously overpowered.
Percy can bloodbend, cool, let’s send him to battle while the other characters have a coffee because they’ll literally become useless.
It doesn’t make sense. Poseidon isn’t the god of WATER, he’s the god OF THE SEA. It would make one thousand more sense that it was an Apollo’s/Asclepius’ son to bloodbend because of medical abilities.
What does blood have to do with the sea?
Also he already is insanely powerful and everytime he and Annabeth appear in the last books I dislike the blatant fan service (even Arachne has a tapestry of their underwater kiss are you for real?), now you gotta give Percy a cruel, unbeatable, absolutely-not-connected-to-his-domains, over the top skill because WATER?
Poseidon isn’t the god of liquids, if we really want to be technical Percy shouldn’t be able to control every type of water anyway, he should only be able to control the sea. But blood?
It’s like saying Jason could choke you because he controls air, except Zeus isn’t the god of oxygen, but of thunders/winds/rain and guess what, Jason cannot choke us, he can “only” control the wind.
Also he just seems copied from Avatar: TLA and I know we all miss that show because boy was it good, but seriously😂
I sadly don’t remember a lot about it (almost nothing, I’m thinking about a rewatch) but the episode about bloodbending WILL BE STUCK IN MY HEAD FOREVER and I was super creeped out by it. I think it’s considered creepier because it’s about controling someone else’s body, and not only that’s torture because it hurts physically but you’re basically convincing people to do what you want WHILE they’re aware they are being controlled (charmspeak is a lot less cruel if you see it from this point of view).
Percy has become too powerful to be relatable and that’s sad.
I don’t know man, I understand making theories and headcanons about it but Percy actually doing it in canon would ruin a character that’s already slightly ruined for me.
Also I’m sorry for being so difficult, I always complain about everything but I swear I love the series I’m a very picky and critical person, don’t hate me plz😭❤️
I guys I love you all but if it turns out Percy can actually bloodbend it will be hard for me to continue reading the books because I cannot take that.
The only thing worse than Percy bloodbending is Apollo staying mortal FoR lOvE.
But Percy bloodbending no. Please. I beg you. RICK I’M ON MY KNEES I’M CRAWLING PLEASE NO.
