So I think I briefly touched on this before on a different question but the episode that got me into the show was Enchanting Grom Fright back during 2020 and season 1. Previous to TOH I was hyperfixated on a movie in that time (Booksmart) and used Instagram to talk to some people who from said community wrote fanfic for on ao3.

Anyway, during scrolling through the front my feed at like September or so of 2020 was FLOODED with edits of that episode. unfortunatly people tend to reject wlw ships that are complex and have conflict because blah blah society who cares their bonfire event on tenko's route in drs made me tear up tenmiko made me start saying "otp" again and i want them to get married and watch barbie movies together etc etc they make me happy and make me cry and have such an interesting dynamic i think everyone should ship them amen (i'd love to speak about them in a more literate way one day)

everyone already knows... SIGH this started as "haha shipping two of my favs" but now i've been obsessed with them for over a year heartbreak emoji.

i really do think these two belong together. their interactions in the manga make my heart do backflips and i am squinting so hard (complimentary) at thier drs interactions.

Ash met Peter when she moved to New York and started attending the same school. And when Peter first raised his gaze to look at her, he knew he was done for, he had a new crush and it was the new girl at her biology class.

MJ befriended Ash surprisingly quickly, and MJ also picked on Peter's longing gazes almost immediately. She smirked Peter's way, snapping him out of it as he had been caught and Ned laughed, nudging him with his elbow.

"Go talk to Ash, seriously dude," Ned said one day. "I can't watch you two pining over each other any longer."

"Me? Pining? Pining over Ash?" Peter snorted, restraining himself from glancing her way. "Oh, you've gotten it all wrong."

Peter gulped as he looked at Ash's back turned to them at the diner, her hair in a long braid - she looked like a Disney princess with it, along with her beautiful dress. Peter felt like Ash was way out of his league. But as Ned and MJ stared at him, he slowly stood up and made his way to Ash. She looked up from her book when she heard someone approach, turning to look at Peter, before her eyes widened. Peter hoped that the shock in her eyes was positive shock.

"Uh... hi. Um, can I sit with you for a moment? My friend uh... has private business to take care of." Well that's not questionable at all, Peter thought and wanted to slap himself after saying that. "I- I mean that he got a phone call. A private phone call."

He felt so stupid, but fortunately Ash looked like she was just as lost with words, before she nodded and Peter eagerly sat opposite of her.

"What are you reading?" he asked, and Ash smiled.

"These are just silly old books about cold cases around the world, I have a weird hobby of wanting to solve stuff like that..." she muttered and let Peter take a look.

"Huh," Peter frowned. "I like solving crime cases as well. I mean, in a way."

"Really?" Ash's eyes lit up and Peter blinked, staring into them for a moment and almost getting lost, before blushing and looking away.

"Yeah, maybe... we could try solving something together sometime?" he suggested, almost regretting for being so straightforward but Ash's excited smile told him everything he needed to know and he smiled back, hoping that this could lead to something greater...

I came here to talk about some things, okay? Good.

Miss Bala 2019, the remake. I watched the movie accidentally tbh :)) and well, can I say it easily became one of my favorite movies.

Now, I've seen people saying that it's cliche and predictable but I find it actually exciting and interesting. It's predictable enough that I did not expect that ending. So, how predictable is it really? =)))

I gotta give it to Ismael Cruz Cordova as well, he really made me sit down and watch the movie, he's sculpted by Greek God's ffs. However, I absolutely loved Gina Rodriguez' performance as well! And Anthonyyyy <3 I actually was browsing the channels and two times stumbled across the movie but skipped over it cuz idk, I just didn't want to start a movie I didn't see from the beginning or because second time it was at the beauty pageant scene and I saw how fake Gloria was acting and I was like, nah not wasting my time on this. But yk what they say, third time's the charm! And third time it indeed was! Again I was searching for something good and I saw it and I was like, hmm maybe this is a sign I should just watch the damn movie =)))) so I did and damn!

It went from 0 to 100 real quick. I guess I would've enjoyed it more if they showed us a bit more of Gloria and Suzu's life but at the same time LINO came in the first 10 minutes. So yk something for something =)) and for my own sanity, I need Ismael and Gina to be casted again in a movie where they are a couple because my sweet Jesus Lord! THEIR CHEMISTRY WAS INSANE IN THE MOVIE!!! I found the deleted scene in which they kiss and bitch do I wish they kept it in the movie, it would've definitely added more depth to the sudden infatuation Lino had for Gloria just because they shared a somewhat similar backstory. Also all those scenes between Gloria and Lino and like the "small" gestures coming from Lino =)) like in the car scene where Chivo (?) manhandled Gloria and Lino screamed at him like, boy, mhm okay I see ;) did I hope something would happen between them? Yes. Would it have been unrealistic? No but yes.

About Gloria, did I enjoy how she was reacting in some situations? Definitely not, but then again, I don't even want to imagine how I would have reacted. I guess I wished she showed more confidence around Lino and didn't let him know how afraid she was of him all the time. But then again, the pressure that was on her shoulders, she probably handled things a lot better than most people would. Take Isabel for example, we know she wasn't the mole, but was explaining gonna get her out of that situation? No, they had proof, physical proof against words you can't prove, sad but true. I did like the scene where, she finally fought back against him, a lot. I was just glad to see that she finally had enough and wouldn't take any bullshit anymore, plus when Lino said you'll be my queen tonight, I personally would've knocked all of his teeth out, I see why Gloria took it the wrong way, not that there was any right way that statement could have been taken coming from Lino =))) oh and the scene where she had to take off his boots and then he was asking her to sleep with him, forcing her sorry, uuuh no? I wanted to jump through the tv and kick his balls. All the neck grabbing and just the general manhandling had me IN A CONSTANT FURRY FFS :) when Lino puts Gloria's hair on one shoulder 🤢 hold my salad please!

The ending scene my loves *spoiler alert* is chef's kiss! I was o0o when she shot Lino and then I realized she SHOT Lino and I was like OMG KILL THE MOTHERFUCKER DO IT DO IT. Ngl I do kinda wish he doesn't die :)) but at the same time DIE YOU PIECE OF SHIT. Gloria shooting him only thrice? That's some damn nice self control there sis I would've put a LOT more bullets in him, yk 🙃

Did I ship Gloria and Lino? Fuck yes. Do I hate Lino but can't resist him? Fuck yes. Do I scream in happiness when Gloria kills Lino? FUCK YES. Am I sad that there never was anything between them because their chemistry annihilated me? fuck yes
