I was experimenting for many months with opening myself up a little more with people; not in the sense even of like, I dunno, the Real Stuff, but just being more free with what interests me, what I am thinking in the moment, and so on.

As a result of this experiment one of the circles into which I’ve fallen is a little group of three people the dynamic of which is this

there is myself, and I do most of the talking--see above--and there is the second, and the second listens to everything that I say, retains it, and uses it to build a model of me and my personality and my tastes and motivations and so on, and with reasonable accuracy. I hate being perceived.

meanwhile everything I say passes before the Vault that is number three, to what end I have no idea, as she almost never says anything. Is it retained? discarded? does it even go in? for what purpose? can anyone know? does she even know herself? Quiet people are the worst, stop doing that.

Katara had her Oh moment before exchanging a word with Jian Li, and while she gets over it in time (or, at least, convinces herself that she's not embarrassed by her initial reaction to him) this quasi-interaction haunts her for the first couple of days of their stay in Kyoshi Island.

Yknow i get why scara is such a hater when it comes to childe because imagine you’re a 400+ year old puppet with your other immortal coworkers with their dark aesthetics and colors that all fit together in some way shape or form and then your boss decides to hire some 17 year old ginger kid just completely ruining the vibe.
