To say the least, Aziraphale was terrified.

Crowley spectacularly emerges from the pool with a cheer. Running his hands back his damp hair, illuminated by the sunrays, and it was perhaps the only enticing thing amidst the water going way past his round, and flushed shoulders. The perfect swell, the perfect image. His hand splashes beneath the pool as it fell, and all Aziraphale thinks as he directs a sunny grin at him; Oh, dear.

“Hey. You comin’?”

“Yes. Yes! I just, ah…” He tried not to think how the water would fly up past his neck, right up to his nose. Toeing the wet cobblestone pavement, he tried a smile, “Just, in a jiffy… A moment!”

“Oh, Azi, you needn’t worry. Look,” Crowley jerks a thumb behind him, blessedly unawares, “No ‘no diving’ sign anywhere. Free to jump in however we like,”

One of Crowley’s reassurances of many that he wasn’t breaking rules. He tried to focus on that endearing thought, not how he was absurdly tall and Aziraphale wasn’t, and it colored his smile, “Yes, well. Jolly good. Absolutely tickety-boo! I’ll…”

Both of them went to the fall fair with the choir, but Penny decided not to go on the Cyclone (as she has a fear of roller coasters), staying behind to try and win some prizes for her and her little brother while he went with the choir's family/friends(the cut characters). Penny tried winning a Raggedy Ann to match with the Raggedy Andy that Ezra had won, but ended up with the porcelain doll we're all familiar with instead. She's grown rather fond of the thing,, but yeah. Temporary split up, and then the Cyclone accident happened. Father Markus prevented Penny from seeing the aftermath of it all(or. he hoped he did,, up to interpretation!), and Ezra was left unidentified once Father Markus died from a heart attack. Penny's been searching everywhere top to bottom— but she knows Ezra's gone. Yet, she doesn't wanna believe it, and. Carries a lot. of regret & guilt. Nobody ever listened to her when she tried to identify him, due to her reputation as a "psycho cannibal kid that maimed a dude, born & raised from a place where all the adults were higher than freakin' skyscrapers." Plus her. Criminal record in general. Therefore, Ezra was labeled as John Doe.

While in limbo, he ain't doing too hot either, supposedly! Unlike most versions of Jane, John is purposefully pissed off. Knowing he's been fucked over entirely but can't completely pinpoint it. I'd like to think he gets along well with Astrid,, but he & Corey might have a rivalry similar to Penny & Ocean's. haters frfr/silly

Also yeah Ez gets Raggedy Andy head the Lamb siblings r so Ann & Andy coded /pos

HI AKIO totally ignoring that ive told a lot of these in dms to you before but GREAT QUESTIONS

- I'm not going to say anything about this because I feel it's spoilery. HOWEVER, I will say, this is one of the parts I thought about the most and how it will go

- I think I've already stated before that Stagedorks is very canon so Christine is important to Jeremy's whole character! And if the parents count then yes, if Rich counts then also yes. Those really are the only characters in BMC that might become or are relevant to the main two.

- Jeremy = Pokotho. Michael = Nibblenephim. I will not elaborate until you give me another ask /j (I have a lot of thoughts about this and I don't want this to be that long)

- MICHAEL MELL AND GRACE CHASITY. They fucking hate each other's guts.

- Yeah! Totally!

- Oh there's a lot I want to say about this but I will wait 'til chapter 1 is done because one important Hatchetfield character is introduced there (He appeared in NMT 1 & 2). But I will say even if he's not that important, the Paul Matthews is Richie Lipschitz Uncle headcanon is part of this story. 'Cause I love Paul Matthews. And of course there's cameos, mentions here and there but I think it'll focus mainly on NPMD characters as I imagine it right now.

- Considering Michael secured 2 more bottles of Mountain Dew Red before coming to Hatchetfield? Yeah, I think Jeremy's traumatized as fuck. The SQUIP isn't such a big part but Jeremy still hears it sometimes and goes into some state of , guilt and shock about the whole thing. He's getting better. Slowly. The events in this AU might not help with that though.

- The ones I'd consider major ships are Stagedorks and Lautski, the minor ones; Kyle Clauger x Brenda? They're sweet. IcedTea/Rolohst? Yeah they're also mentioned. Paulkins? Of course they are !! They aren't really much ships that I want to include besides the main ones because of AVC being focused on Jeremy and Michael's friendship, but I think it's fun to think about!

- I particularly love Jeremy & Ruth, and Michael & Richie. The two loser duos.

so in the mcyt au I was yapping abt a few days weeks ago (the one that is definitely under control and of a manageable size. the only one I have yapped abt so far) the fic I was talking about is set in Eclipse District, known as Karma by the locals (it's a whole city, yes). Karma is essentially the Lifesteal area of this au (it's very demure and small-sized chat I swear /lhj), and it's kinda like a dark cyberpunk genre? I'm honestly not that good with genres, but I was going for something like dark cyberpunk with a touch of fantasy (because the wider au is predominantly fantasy and it would be weird for Karma to not have at least a bit, although I have it as more of a magitek vibe).

It's a major city now, but it used to be (and still is) an industrial district- y'know, with factories and the like, and the only housing that was really there was for the workers. This is why it's officially called Eclipse District, that's a holdover from the old days.

Then there was a population boom (haven't figured out why yet) and there wasn't enough space for all the people, so they ended up expanding vertically instead of horizontally (specifically upwards. they tried going down and ran afoul of the void anomaly. very unfortunate, we hate when that happens <//3 )

For infrastructure: the center is very developed, as in Very Tall, but there are still factories and the old housing (shorter, slightly less cyberpunky) on the outskirts. Not all the way around, just in a kind of half-moon shape (some of the defunct factories were converted to housing and then expanded upwards when they realized they STILL didn't have enough space).

They did try to build a subway, which also ran into the void anomaly and was shut down afterwards. They've just got bad cave generation, I guess.

The outskirts are. so badly managed it's not even funny. They've got a police department worthy of Gotham except there's no Commissioner Gordon (not to say that the whole thing is corrupt, there's just no non-corrupt higher ups). Also, the outskirts have vigilantes/antiheroes (the POG ofc), because the police are also terrible at their jobs :D (fun fact: the POG kill those they deem unsafe to leave alive, because there is literally no other way to keep them off the streets and away from innocents. regular criminals like idk muggers get away with just a beating tho)

The government is corrupt (of course) and there is a mafia (the MOB) that has a Very Visible headquarters in the center of the district. No one does anything of note about this, of course.

Least favorite Tobecky headcanon? or what some people like in popular tobecky ideas but youd don't?

But to your question, hmm... that's a bit tough since headcanon and ideas involving tobecky within the Fandom change over time. It's very noticeable from the time before the show got canned to the Twitter resurgence a few years ago. And what is my least favorite or what I don't like... then yeah, I could say, since apparently I'm the hot take Wordgirl blog/lhj

I'm mostly gonna be talking about ones from the old fandom/things I notice that I don't personally jell with anymore, so take that as you will. Remember, these are my opinions, and they don't define how a person should feel if they like these headcanons/tropes themselves. I'm just a genderfluid cartoon bee person on the internet.

One tobecky trope/headcanon that I *could* like but I don't particularly think is used well enough is when they want to make it a love triangle. Either with Scoops, Victoria, or if you're brave, Violet. I dabble in jealousy within tobecky since it's fun. However, early fandom was kind of obsessed with making either of these characters absolutely fladerized in their worst traits so Tobey/Becky could be seen as the better option. Like Victoria being more nasty and cruel to Becky for no reason other than Tobey is the one she's after. Which I gotta roll my eyes at two interesting female characters just fighting over a boy. And in turn, the villiazation some people made Scoops out in early fandom like jeez you would think he was a real jerk in the show if you only consumed early fandom art and fics. Yes, both Victoria and Scoops have their flaws, but they wouldn't be interesting characters without them and it's a shame for either of them to be portrayed as just meanies so Becky could lean more into Tobey (a little tangent here, this also is talking about how making all other characters in Becky's personal life incompetent too, ie Violet and the Botsfords so the only one she should turn to is Tobey. Yes, there are things Tobey could understand and connect with her that her family can't, but making her friends and family heartlessly naive to her plights is dumb. Or making it that they don't trust or love her anymore after an event. Wildly out of character and not in a good way).

And I don't even hate this idea or concept as much. We'll get to the ones I do, but this is the first one that I think could have potentially if done right. Kids have crushes, and they can be resentful to others close to the person they like. It's natural. But mostly, the problem does lie with character assassination. This is one could be fun (and I've seen recent good examples), but it comes down to the interpretation.

Another is Becky, basically being Tobey's therapist while also being his girlfriend. I think I've talked about before on my distaste for the (Becky has to fix Tobey) trope since it's the most obvious f/m enemies to lovers trope that I dread because the female character is just used as the ultimate emotional stability for a male character who has to earn his own sense of self (if the male character is the one who was antagonist, which is like 89 percent of them). Becky, to me, doesn't have anything under control herself. Yes, it might seem like it, but have you seen this girl? Lol. So her being Tobey's number one coddler is just not in character...at least for me. Especially if it's the show accurate ages of them or heck as teens. So Tobey being in a relationship with Becky, that's just her being his therapist or her needing to instill lessons like she's his teacher. Idk that's a highly unhealthy dynamic to me, folks. Not to mention how some could write Becky as controlling or manipulative to Tobey's unstable mental health.

And there's the reverse. Some might scream at me. 'What about Tobey being the one to emotionally help Becky? Isn't that also problematic?' Well...not exactly and I can explain why! Not only is it not a common trope, nor does it have origins in a very dubious romance trope that can be misogynistic. But knowing how popular the ideas of Becky being stressed or emotionally shutting off by handling everything herself (since we can infer in the show), then it wouldn't be a too farfetched idea of her needing that bit of help or reminder from a friend or foe. And I say 'a bit' because the reverse trope doesn't have Tobey downright baby Becky or become a therapist in what she does, nor be her only emotional dependency. And yeah, the idea of Tobey being more emotionally stable than Becky is unbelievable, but again, usually when I see this trope, Tobey isn't perfect himself, and he's also a bit messed up. I don't know if I'm explaining it right, but to peeps who read a lot of the modern fanfictions, you know what I mean.

I think the good mixture of both of these is them obviously being good for each other in an equal manner.

My final one is the one where Tobey basically gets rewarded for being pushy/crossing boundaries. "Oh, he had to blackmail her or threaten to destroy something so she could fess up her TRUE emotions." Or "he had to socially engineer his way to reveal her identity so she could like him" (this one is a trope that's done right when tobey literally gets hit with the big consequences as he should, we all know this, because it's half of the reveal plot lines in tobecky content) but for some reason a very few treat this as a necessary thing for him to do despite how very obviously bad it is. Becky should slap him if he does that and if thinks he's in the right.

And yeah, that's the ones I could think of. Again, like I said, this is my opinion!! If you like using these tropes, power to you, it's not my thing--and I have my problems with them. Again, I think there is potential for some of them to be done correctly or at least with a twist that can be interesting. I like my fair share of messy tobecky, I'm a messy bee. And this ship is interesting in many ways. But there's probably a reason why some have their issues.

nothing, the wind, the sky (64,790 words) Multichap, M, Ongoing - Started writing this at a lowkey dark time in my life. It's really heavy and honestly I'm not sure I recommend it? It deals with themes of suicidality, CSA, empathy fatigue, suicide survivor (the loved one, not the suicidal person) trauma, financial trauma, human experimentation/medical trauma, trauma bonds, codependent relationships, forced mental health care, and that's just what I can remember. It was originally supposed to be four(?) chapters but it has a plot now that's actually related to the events in BSD.

What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

I actually don't usually write angsty endings. There's only one up that's not hidden right now, Deliver Us From Ev—. It's exactly what it says on the tin. A traumatized Dazai with no concept of healthy boundaries and consent manipulates Oda into having sex with him on his 18th birthday. It's non-explicit, non-sexy, lowkey kinda brutal, and I've been told by commenters that it left them genuinely upset and a little disturbed.

What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?

Supersonic Boom. It was SO soft and cheesy I didn't know if I was cringing or melting as I wrote it.

Do you write crossovers?

Anyone who thinks they can write a crossover after Magic and Mystery dropped is just kidding themselves. /lhj

What are your writing strengths?

I wasn't quite sure how to answer this one. I just write by applying what I learned through the osmosis of a childhood of reading books for 4+ hours every day in ways that make the brain termites happy lol there is no craft involved. I went back through some comments on my fics to see if there were any trends and the most common kind things people have said were "I like how you write the SKK relationship dynamic" and "I like your writing style".

What are your writing weaknesses?

Including enough description. I am a very, very dialogue and character-heavy writer because that's the part of writing I enjoy and honestly a lot of the time I forget I even have to set the scene.

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

I'm not opposed to it but I never feel confident in doing that unless it's a language I know myself. When reading other people's fics, I enjoy it when the writer is doing it on purpose to emphasize the lack of information or confusion their character is garnering from the words, but to be honest I get frustrated sometimes when there's a really emotional conversation going on between two characters and suddenly I can't understand what one of them is saying.

Kiyuu's eyes shimmered as she watched Yuna's less-than-good mood melt away the longer she prattled on about Crowley's 'overflowing kindness'. The sound of her laughter was sweet and filled with a soft joy that stemmed from her quiet relief.

Even Yuuto's frown morphed into a slight grin, snickering at Yuna's sarcasm, finding the antics pretty amusing.

"Ugh, don't even get me started on the mine incident, I'd kill to know what on earth was even going through his head that entire evening, honestly."

Kiyuu groaned, feeling exasperated just thinking about it.

"I thought it was pretty fun."

Yuuto chimed in, as he usually did when their conversations spun around to the topic of Crowley and their first few nights in Twisted Wonderland, with a smug air to his tone. Just as she always did, she gave him the most unamused look she could muster in that moment, rolling her eyes at him.

"Yeah, of course you did, you don't get to talk."

She recited, sighing.

"Literally what the fuck was even going through his head when he presented us with whatever the fuck Ramshackle was when we first got here and expected us to be totally chill and 'grateful' about it? Like 'Oh yes this is the most 'charismatic' dorm I've ever seen I'm sooo grateful and not at all apprehensive towards the holes in the roof and the like- I dunno- ghosts hiding in the walls' or something at this point?! Insane. I need some of whatever he was on, honestly."

Yuuto added, rolling his eyes. He almost wanted to make another smug jab about how it wasn't even that bad. To him, it wasn't even, really. Even if they'd both ended up in... less than favourable circumstances a little like this before everything, at least he knew that there was no way Kiyuu would share his sentiment. He could tell how much she missed the little cozy space he'd heard her room was dearly, no matter how hard she tried to make it seem like she wasn't too affected. ...It was honestly a little sad he'd never been able to see it. Not that he would now either.

Well, anyway, If there was one thing that could bring Ramshackle residents together, it was their collective hatred and dissing of Crowley, that's for sure. Something about really being able to rant about him in all his stupidity to people who will actually understand first hand must be pretty appealing.

Yuna was... Exhausted, to say the least.

Her outburst had not lasted long, but then again, these sorts of things never did.

On top of that, she had no experience with magic whatsoever, and it was a wonder she wasn't outright dead, if not comatose.

She stared up aimlessly at the ceiling of the infirmary, left to reflect on her (admittedly humiliating) actions, wondering if there would be anyone who would grace her with their company, even if it were only to scold her for her recklessness and nothing more.

I'm in so much pain about the Wilbur situation in general and have so many mixed feelings. Like I've only just got a chance to sit down and read his 'apology' and all of the replies from content creators and (ex)fans alike. I was so close to throwing up that I had to close the tab /gen.

I've never really watched Shubble content, nor have I had a chance to watch her full vod on the issue, so my first instinct was to be a good little media sieve and try to be open-minded before making an opinion. I won't lie, I was trying very hard to convince myself that it wasn't Wilbur and everyone was jumping to conclusions (though the more I read made that less and less likely).

I was worried for Wilbur's group (tommy, phil, charlie etc) because there was no way they could stream without being harassed by it, and worried partially for Wilbur as well because of various mental health problems that he's admitted to in the past.

Now that he's responded, though, everything's so much worse. As someone who struggled with being on the victim side of abuse for a while, I feel awful for Shelby and everything that happened to her.

Charlie, Ranboo, Tubbo etc have all responded (most very passionately so I have no doubt where they stand), so that's good for them, but tommy and phil have yet to. I can't help but wonder if Techno knew, if it had even started by then or if Wilbur didn't tell him.

I've seen people making reasonable assumptions about signs in past content that may have pointed to Wilbur's abuse, but there are some people making reaches that don't even make sense and now I can barely consume content or even remember videos that i used to be fond of without worrying that it was just Wilbur manipulating people.

Also, as far as I'm aware, none of lovejoy have replied to the situation (apart from the ex trumpeter), so ash, mark and joe are getting hate when they haven't done anything (though I may have just not seen it yet).

Some part of my brain is convinced this is all some horrible nightmare and I'll wake up able to laugh and joke about SBI content with my friends, even if I know that'll likely never happen again.

If there's one thing for certain, it's that his response was not an apology. I do believe that he thought long and hard about it (even if it was just for superficial PR reasons) and maybe ran it by people he trusted, but it was not what he should have said in response to Shelby coming forward about his abuse. All he's done is dig a bigger hole and now thousands of his (ex)supporters have to live with the consequences of his actions.

Honestly, I just feel sad. Sad that it happened, sad that Wilbur isn't who I thought he was and sad that my life will be drastically different from here on out.

Sorry that that was so heavy. I just feel really confused and there's a pit in my stomach that's churning horribly.

yeah, this is such a horrible situation overall. for me at least his response made the situation somewhat more tolerable because it felt like a closure moment. it made me realize, oh, he was really awful the entire time and this shit apology proves it. however, I'm sure in a few days the reality will hit me and I'll feel awful again. it's not fun realizing someone you admired and were a fan of for so long was a completely different kind of person than the guy he presented himself as.

I don't know where you heard that charlie responded, because as far as I'm aware he has not said anything anywhere about this situation yet.

I also don't think it's very worthwhile for people to be combing through old vods and videos for 'questionable moments' they can point at and be like "look he was abusive the whole time!" because we don't know what's going on in cc's personal lives. more than anything that should be the take away here. we don't know these people, we don't know their personal relationships, we shouldn't be trying to pinpoint every questionable moment and prove something with it because we're not in these personal relationships with wilbur. the other cc's are. basically, don't overthink what you see in old vods or old videos. it's not going to help whatsoever and it's none of our business.

I've also had the thought that this feels like a nightmare I could wake up from. I've had that thought every day since shelby's stream first happened. but unfortunately that's not the case, and we need to focus instead on supporting the victims here

I'm sorry there's not much I can say to help. just try to take care of yourself. give yourself time. it'll get a bit easier with each passing day.
