I rewatched Emesis blu recently and Spy is such a disaster!!! He is pretty well written though. He definitely feels like a real person with how flawed and hypocritical he was throughout the whole movie. Blu Spy in general is my babygirl so his role in this movie always disappoints me…dude is so selfish and pathetic!!! I was hoping when he burnt his own face he would get humbled by that but boy was I wrong. I wasn’t expecting him to become a villain towards the end but then again he sort of already was since he literally executed people for his boss.

List of Spy’s crimes:

-murder

-not saying “thank you” after soldier literally saved his life

-blowing up his own car

-setting himself on fire lol

-taking no accountability for any of his own actions & behavior

-threatening soldier at gunpoint

-after getting shot in the leg dude yelps “Soldier! Don’t leave me!!!” BRO U HAD UR FINGER ON THE TRIGGER THREATENING HIM 5 MINUTES AGO LMAO

This movie has given me more writing inspiration for freedom fries though. I’ve been shipping these two before this movie came out and y’all trust me their dynamic is soooo yummy when Spy isn’t portrayed as a massive prick I promise.
