Coming from Hori, this might turn off a lot of people who still might be interested in reading KB beyond the meme but again, it’s… pretty decent! It’s not bad! A little basic but it’s worth the read and the characters are interesting enough to keep you invested after you’ve read the first couple of chapters. I wasn’t too into it at the beginning but its gotten better. It’s nice to see bigger mangaka give up-and-coming artists their blessings so publicly like this though!

i'm a little embarrased to admit that i may have grown the teeeensiest tiniest bit hyperfixated on jess from gilmore girls (a show i've been shitting on for the past like 3 years, 4 years? idk, ever since my sister first watched it) now don't get me wrong, i still strongly dislike rory and now that i'm actually watching the show (only episodes jess is in) i'm also starting to dislike lorelai, i have been bingeing fanfic with jess in it but i just feel like most of the rest of the characters in show have no depth and a lot of them only exist in regards to their relationship to the rory or lorelai (*cough* dean after he and rory break up and they make him the villan even though she cheated on him with jess at sookies wedding *cough*) which makes rory and lorelai so much the main characters that it makes the characters themselves seem self centred, selfish and narcissistic to the point of near delusion (little community reference there, heh) and actively stunts their characters growth and development in a way that makes it impossible for me to connect with them at all or even care about them in the slightest. i've only watched seasons 2 and 3 so far though (the show bores me a little so i'm taking it slow) but yeah anyway thats just whats been on my mind

Did Tom ever speak about any political issue like Palastine, Sudan except his GG speech. I think he never signed a ceasefire nor provide to any charity regarding this matter. Except his soccer aid video which I do not think counts. Anderw Garfield recently spoke about it in recent josh interview and everyone is praising and treating him like jesus among men. I have also seen tweets saying AG better than TH and that is why they are not a fan of him anymore because of his silence and calling him a coward. What's ur opinion about it?

There are interviews where he's calling out Trump or Nigel Farage for hate speech back in 2015, for instance. He talked about illegal arms sales when he was doing promo for TNM s1 (generally related to his UNICEF trips).

Since then, he's not on sm due to fan and media behaviour, and he hasn't really been asked about issues in any interviews, so I'm not sure what people expect? He's definitely still promoting UNICEF stuff, and he posted about BLM back in 2020. He's supported Ukraine with the poetry reading last year.

Anyway, Twitter isn't real life. People are allowed to not be a fan if they don't want to, but their reasoning is not great. Keyboard warriors the lot of them. He's not coming back to sm in any meaningful way, and that's in large part because of fan behaviour when he did speak out. So that's on them, tbh.

he was lee sooman's favorite - chris lee hated that. when lsm left chris lee did everything in his power to destroy what lsm was working towards - he was actually the reason the original nct tokyo unit that was supposed to happen with the smrookies got axed and why aespa 1st full album was halted and their worldview got scrapped and became the real world bullshit they did during spicy, and he was also the reason the new gg got pushed back so long. he got rid of a lot of the trainees lsm favored and fired staff that supported lsm

my guess is once lsm was gone taemin lost a lot of the staff and ppl that favored him in the company and chris lee refused to give him what he wanted. shawols have been saying the reason he went to bpm was because a lot of their staff were ex sm

i feel like theres been a concerted effort recently where either aespa themselves or sm or maybe a bit of both are trying very hard to keep up their public image. for example, i think that the lack of public mj birthday promotions is due to sm being overly cautious surrounding the tragedy, which is why their socmed ban was so long. and yeah, sm did stuff for kun’s bday after the mourning period, but i think it’s relevant that he’s chinese and part of the china focused subunit in nct, which really isn’t as popular in korea, especially compared to the korean units. i can see sm’s line of logic being something like trying to avoid any potential controversies surrounding the tragedy with aespa, since as a gg they would be subject to more hate due bc misogyny, as well as having a very large korean fanbase that definitely overshadows kun’s group. this tracks with how they posted smth for mj on the aespa japan account but not the main one. (even more so that an image of mj that antis are trying to spread is that of a party girl, so i can see sm trying avoid feeding into that by not drawing attention to her birthday bc it’s not that much of a stretch to imagine antis accusing her of going out and partying during the mourning period )
