yeah, ik, its promo time again. BUT this time around i do wanna add in the post both my cousin and niece

one thing i did get wrong, heartz is my niece, starz is my cousin! this will basically be going over what each of these 2 do (...and im also adding in a bonus competitor/promoed person, well actually 2 because I GOT A CHANNEL YIPPEE)

each channel will be seperated up so yeah lets go!

first channel:

Starzzz.andgalaxy (my actual cousin, lol) is a great yter who absolutely deserves to be celebrating more then just 170 subs! since shes actually here with me, i can let her say a lil something on the matter:

As you can see, she does very cool art, this one in particular is a tutorial on how to draw bodies. Is it the best? No, but the fact she's trying makes it great! (this is also where I've seen a couple hate comments come up, so yeah, I'm trying to be mature enough to not commit violence for her upon them) She does admit this video isn't her best work, but she does A LOT of very very cool drawings! Go check them out and her channel of course! There is one thing she also posts about which I love most of all...

3. Paper Dragons!!

(the first image is her first dragon, second is her most recent i think) I don't get how these things are "paper furries", but I do know THEY ARE SICK AS FUCK. I got to see one in person and they're very cool, all with different stories! I honestly wanna ask for one but right now, I'm gonna stick with watching them.

One thing I forgot to mention my cousin doing (well, actually my cousin's section is just kinda old because it's from when she last came over, but she's back to help me again, yay!) is making memes like this. Sometimes they do involve a paper dragon, but I think they're pretty funny and/or relatable (also dragons very cool)!

2. Edits (and Undertale related things)

I'm putting these 2 in the same category just because of the example image above. While my cousin has recently started doing edits, Heartz is the only 1 of the 2 to make anything Undertale related. While the Undertale stuff comes once every blue moon it seems, that doesn't make it any less enjoyable.

This is another one grouped together, but because this is the first drawing related one I've seen. They're very big FNAF fans, of course leading to things like this. Is it the best? No, but they tried very hard of course, and maybe you could leave some tips for them to improve with!

Unfortunately lower visual quality than I wanted be because Tumblr only allows 10 images so I smushed them into three canvases instead of two post. Anyway beta trolls Headcanon and some thoughts below the cut.

Aradia

Aradia is the design I probably have the most experience drawing of the beta trolls purely because of how many zines I’ve drawn her in the last year. I like thinking of her hair similar to Pinkie Pies’ in g4 of mlp, where it’s very curly bouncy in her alive and godtiered forms but straightens out more when she’s ghosting up the place and in Aradia-bot form. I didn’t realize until a recent zine I had been drawing her horns ways too low for comic accuracy but I am a creature of habit so I keep drawing them like that.

Tavros

I’ve grown to love this kid because of my recent reread but I do not like drawing them. Between the Mohawk and the long, straight horns, I don’t care to draw their most important traits so he unfortunately only gets drawn in these group drawings. As for the one ear being pierced, it’s kinda a reference to cow tags but also I think it just fits them.

Sollux

Sollux a pretty easy character to design. I just have to imagine a greasy nerd kid growing up too fast for him to put on weight, add his troll bits and voila. The snake bites are definitely a hold over from the humanstuck I made for him last year but I think it just kinda add to his whole vibe. The undershirt comes from someone who also sits in a hot-ass room most of my days and will wears a second layer so leaving the room won’t feel like stepping out into a frozen wasteland.

Karkat

Karkat for me has always been short and stout guy. Other than that most of his facial features are taken from me, being someone who also over exaggerates their faces and nearly always is squinting a little.

Nepeta

Between all my designs of Nepeta the only thing that ever changes with any consistency is her hair. Like giving her cleft lip scar because I gave it to my fan-descendent of her and it’s cute.

Kanaya

Like two months ago I saw a post on here saying give that girl a nose (in reference to Kanaya) and it was the single most true HC I have ever seen. I also like completely throw out any references I have of her when I draw her hair because I think she should have 1930’s waves and curls. I typically only have to draw the super simple eyes so the only thing I had to change was giving her actual eyes.

Terezi

Got pretty comic accurate but probably would erase some of the chin to imply she’s fat a little better if I wasn’t doing this more rigid style.

Vriska

Also pretty comic accurate with the exception of the snake bites which is probably because I don’t draw her a lot and I don’t think about her much enough looks wise to have any specific head canons.

Equius

Goodness his hair gave me a struggle, kept on looking like a balding metal head until I added the pushed back stuff. Also returned back to drawing pseudo animal ears by giving him horse ears only angle to better fit a humanoid head.

Gamzee

I hate their make-up but every thing else about drawing them is a dream; goat ears, not straight hair, simple horns, silly little guy. What more could I ask for.

Eridan

And I’m almost done but unfortunately this doofus is next and requires the most detailed bust even in canon. Due to drawing them in this year’s 413 countdown I know how I like styling their hair and fins so I basically just chop the hair up since this is suppose to be during comic hcs and then follow their canon and Pesterquest designs with a few added features and boom. I was drawing everyone with the dark grey lips but I forgot for Eridan so I’ll just say they use concealer on their lips.

Feferi

Yippee! Back to ignoring canon and just giving her the biggest eyes on account of her glasses and cute piercings. I originally based her fins off of lion fish fins but they’re definitely more based off of betta ventral fin now.

OCtober Day 3: Old OC - ShioRin ⚠️The effects/flashes might hurt your eyes, so please watch with caution.

@amiahoshi and I's Haikyuu OC twins, Shiori and Rin. They walked, so KanaRumi could run-- just kidding, they walked so those mfs Shiki (Cloud Guardian) and Rei (Mist Guardian) could run.

Anyway, even after...s-seven...seven years (💀), I think this is still my magnum opus in terms of video editing, so I will always repost this every now and then (like right now). I don't even remember how I edited this. IIRC, the last solo Rin with the clean lines is by Sou!

Kiriyama Rin: A student from Karasuno High and a member of its Girls’ Volleyball Team. She is also Shiori’s older twin sister.

Rin is usually a happy, cheerful and energetic person. She acts without giving a second thought and is always carefree. However, she is actually a person who finds it extremely difficult to express how she actually feels towards people, she acts happy to everyone, even those whom she hates.

Despite her love for volleyball, she doesn’t really have a motivation to become a professional player.

Kiriyama Shiori: A student from Aoba Johsai High. She is also Rin’s younger twin sister.

Because of her illness, Shiori is unable to play any type of sports that is physically taxing (which is almost all the sports). One thing that could be noted from her is her unusual in-depth understanding of volleyball, this is due to her curiosity for the said sport when she saw Rin all fired up and pouring lots of effort into it.

She could do well as a team manager, but she thinks she’s too unmotivated and it would be rude to her sister if she were to join in on her passion in that kind of uncaring way.

Then ShikiRei eventually developed into their own separate characters and we eventually shipped them with their opposite counterparts (ReixShiori & ShikixRin) sjhfvhdvfsh After a while, we locked them under a basement (we let them out sometimes when needed in an AU or when we need to bully Oikawa). After a few years, we needed OCs to fill up the Oniyanagi guardian vacant spots so we let them out of the basement for good. Now, they're KHR OCs, yippee! ALBUM REVIEW: CHROMAKOPIA

(I'm in no way a professional music critic btw- I'm just doing this for fun and a lot of these are my opinions)

Chromakopia is Tyler, the Creator's 8th Album, and to put it simply, it's pretty good. Like, that's the simplest answer I can give- it's pretty solid. I'm gonna actually go into more detail now though LMAO.

Things I liked about the album (this goes over things also not related to the music):

The marketing(?) was pretty good. It was straightforward, he wasn't doing any mysterious teasers or making the wait really long to build up hype and I think more artists should take from that.

The cinematography was fucking AMAZING?? HELLO?? The cinematography of ST. CHROMA was definitely interesting in terms of what it could mean. Some people think that the men marching in a line into the shipment box was meant to represent conformity and I think that's a really fascinating idea. My personal interpretation was that it represented the men before him following tradition and Tyler blowing the box up represented breaking tradition, and this kinda comes from the line in ST. CHROMA that says "Give a fuck about traditions, stop impressing the dead". NOID also really had some interesting cinematography- I think Ayo Edibri did a great job at representing the unhinged fan (Ayo Edibri ily), and I'm also starting to really love the trend of celebrities calling out the parasocial relationships that fans have with them and how terrified it makes them to really go out. I think he represented those fears really well with the cinematography.

I loved the contrast in between each song. How the album went from slow songs with big use of harmonies and synths and singing (very similar to his later albums) to rapping with a faster, more upbeat sound that reminds me of his earlier albums. It swapped between those sounds with every song which made the album fun to listen to. I also like how, despite the contrast in between songs, Tyler's sound was consistent. Tyler tends to have a consistent sound throughout his music, which is something I've noticed. Usually consistency in music tends to be an artist's biggest weakness, especially for mainstream pop music, but with him, it's one of his strengths because of his ability to make each song still sound unique but keep a similar sound.

I thought that the lines from Tyler's mom were interesting and funny (the "always wear a condom" one made me chuckle a bit), the lines draw you in and make you want to keep listening. Each line also gives away the theme of the song, so you get the gist of what's going on pretty early. The monologue in "Like him" kinda got me emotional, not gonna lie.

I LOVED THE FEATURES SO MUCH! I was pleasantly surprised with Sticky and the GloRilla, Lil Wayne, and Sexyy Red features. I went into it thinking "Oh, this may not be a strong song" given the reputation Sexyy Red has of "not being talented" (personally I think she's very over-hated), but I went out of it loving it, actually- Sticky is one of my favorities. She did really good on this feature, and so did Glo and Wayne. Also CHILDISH GAMBINO??? Yippee!! I figured a feature was in order, since he played with Tyler during Coachella. Also Doechii (I think that's how you spell it?) Had a feature and I really enjoyed it as well, Balloon was a good song and some of the lines were pretty funny, especially if you took them out of context (the queef one 💀)

Yeah the music in general was really good- you really can't go wrong with Tyler, the Creator to be honest. Even his worst albums have like, one or two solid bangers, so you can't really go wrong with it. The music was really good and pretty standard for a Tyler album. A few of my favorites were Like Him, Sticky, ST. CHROMA, and Thought I was Dead, and honorable mentions include Rah Tah Tah, Tomorrow, Darling, I (this one was actually my boyfriend's favorite), and Balloon.

Things I didn't like about the album:

The lack of Frank Ocea- okay but for real, I'm actually not upset about Frank Ocean not being featured. Frank lost a family member and I'd actually rather him not make music and instead take his time to come back, if he chooses to at all. Sorry, had to start off with a bit of a joke. if I'm gonna be honest, there wasn't anything I distinctly disliked about the album. All of it was really solid and standard. I came into it, not having any big expectation because I try not to like, hold artists to a standard when it comes to their art. Art doesn't need to have an underlying meaning. Sometimes it can be fun, it can be satirical, it doesn't need to have a story. I didn't come into Chromakopia having an expectation, therefore I think I enjoyed it a lot more than I would've if I expected it to be the next Igor or CMIYGL (though I'd argue now that it very much IS that).

SONG RANKING:

I can't ACTUALLY rank the songs ngl. I enjoyed every single song, there wasn't one I could particularly place at the bottom or the top- in fact, a lot of songs TIED in my head for how much I liked them. Each song had a different meaning, a different concept. Chromakopia is kinda like an experimental album and I have a tough time putting together a whole list. I thought about it for the whole four days, deciding what songs would go where, and I didn't get past number 5. Maybe that makes me a bad reviewer, I dunno.

OVERALL, I did enjoy Chromakopia a lot. I loved how contrasting each track was, all the emotions you could feel from it. It was energetic, it was emotional, it was freaky, and it was thought-provoking. I will be stuck on this album for the next 3 weeks.

Ok. So vapor has smoke. Yippee. Many people have been making their smoke do some sleepy time juice. And while I might do something with vapor in a similar way. I'm going to add my own little spin because I can.

So vapors smoke is this white blue stuff. Now when I drew the drawing I didn't want to worry about too many details because it was like.. 12:00 at night.

Technically the smoke is supposed to have white little star speckles in it. It's supposed to be a tad glittery, although it glows a lot more. And every other regard though it looks like smoke. But it's viscous. It's thicker and physically feels like you're pushing through something. It will often slow somebody walking through it like you're walking through floating water or something.

The smoke does have properties. But you can only tell that the properties have activated by smell. The neutral smell is standard smoky. Something you would get from a match. Not quite fireplace but simple smoke.

If it starts smelling like dandelions or other stinky flowers. You have upset them. The smell will be suffocating. Slowly you are being poisoned. Due to the fact it is a star, It will affect you whether you are bioorganic biomechanical or pure steel. For those that are purely robot it will feel like they are being rusted from the inside out. Any other will feel like poison that slowly spreads. Completely invisible once until it starts affecting the nervous system. Causing paralysis, and if not stopped death. Luckily inhaling the non-agitated smoke will cure the poison with time.

If it starts smelling floral. They are pleased and calm. It will often induce a state of calm in others. Making them relax. It also has a small bit of healing properties. The truck is a bit when they're falling asleep too. Acting a little bit like what you would think of lavender. Helping them fall asleep while also healing them or anyone around them of injuries.

If it starts to smell like citrus. That means they are happy. They're usually more energetic. Effects upon others are similar. It will also and give somebody a strange sense of giddiness out of nowhere. They will also become somewhat people pleasers to vapor. It makes them want to do something with them. Sillyly enough it's not appreciated by Vapor. But he has no control of how the smoke changes or it's affects.

If it starts to smell woody. It means they are comfortable. Not in the way of rest or relaxation, But more so deeply entwined in something and just comfortable where they are. This will often cause others to want to work. Clean the house, do the dishes, etc. They will just want to finish a task. No matter how much they hate that task, They will enjoy it. It is often that this Woody smell will turn into the flowery smell after a bit.

And those are the four scents that I have figured out so far. There's probably more, And there's probably more specific scents that mean more specific things. But this is the broad strokes. Hope you find this interesting. Smelly vapor.

Gets overwhelmed by loud noises and lights easily, with the exception of performing. They WILL need a nap after the show however

Other than music, likes drawing and writing lyrics/poetry. They draw their own cover art, and if they need a singer to feature in a song, they write their own lyrics!

Gets along very well with their parents, though Puzz might get overwhelmed by their excitable nature sometimes. Good thing he knows exactly how to calm them down!!! (Ahem music)

Also gets along well with their sister, but has to be careful in her working area. They’re a bit clumsy, and lord knows what would happen if they break something of hers

Lower arms are retractable when needed. They use their extra arms to help with producing and performing.

Only ever takes the headphones off if they’re going to sleep or in a quiet room

Every button on their face makes a little noise like real launchpads (they can customize the noises themselves but they default to synth) and lights up (also customizable but defaults to a ripple visual). Be careful though! They’re sensitive!

Voiceclaim is Pal from Playtime With Percy. Because fuck yeah

Ms. Monitor (right) (she/her)

Nurse and babysitter. The kids love her, but the adults get creeped out by her sometimes. She’s more polite to kids than adults (with the exception of her parents + a handful of people)

AUTISM!!!! YEAH!!!!! Very quiet unless she’s working

Demisexual lesbian hell yeah!!!!

Has some anger issues. Tries to be more patient with her patients (haha) and her sibling

Expanding on the bullet point above. If someone tries to hurt her or her patients, intentionally ruins her work, or is just a little mean to her, she’ll LOSE IT. Her face will turn red and she’ll swap her hands out for whatever weapon she feels like using at the moment.

Plays Puzzles’s shows for the kids, it helps him get closer to his OH SO PERFECT five star rating. Always a couple sticklers, though…

Very sensitive to bright lights, so she doesn’t go outside much. Hospital lights are a weird exception.

Tolerates her sibling, to say the least. Still very clearly cares about them though

Yeah, uh. Those aren’t legs. It’s just a giant pointy hovering thing that looks like legs.

oh good i get to talk about my son!!

my blorbo my beloved my babygirl he means everything to me

i made him in 2017 so hes sort of grown up with me (or i've grown up and realised things about him that i couldn't have when i was younger. i have so many complicated feelings abt this that i made a short comic about it last year)

to preface this im not a great writer dont expect good writing from me lol all i have is my personal experience and stealing tropes from stories i like

(got a lot to say so its all going under the cut. also a lot of death mention)

So. who is this dude

Tsuru (not his real name in-story, i havent come up with one im happy with), 18 years old, a ghost

he has a little sister, Ori, 15, who was meant to be my sona but then i just drew him more and like drawing him more anyway

first 2 drawings i ever did of him. he was based off natori natsume yuujinchou at this point, i dont remember why or if i even liked natori that much, but i remember distinctly hes based off him

u may have noticed he sort of looks older in my older art. this is because first of all art style drift lol but also as ive gotten older ive figured out that 18 isnt actually that old.

theres also a black haired version of him (two actually) its basically something like this ⬇️

important to know that everything about this dude is a convoluted metaphor

i lovingly summarize white tsuru as "people pleaser" and black tsuru as "nihilist prick" in my head and those are the things consistent throughout all the AU versions of him

(important differences only to me) alive tsuru doesnt act like black tsuru at all thats just his warped self perception (he also doesnt act exactly like white tsuru either)

also alive tsuru has black eyes and the shortest hair, black tsuru has blue eyes and slightly longer hair (also white tsuru is slightly taller than both of them)

if they all existed at the same time they would hate each other on sight but fortunately (unfortunately?) he is just 1 dude with issues

the general vibe is white tsuru is the "yippee floaty trickster" brand of ghost and black tsuru is the sort of ghost in horror media that stands just outside your field of view in the darkness dripping with blood

for the longest time only white haired tsuru was a "character", "black haired tsuru" existed just as his corpse at most, a footnote

but over the past 2 years ive figured that hes actually really fun to draw and play with, and in a different way than white tsuru

(wait fuck isnt this just abe trio. i do always almost accidentally draw tsuru when im trying to draw haruaki.... fuck.....)

(ive had tsuru for long enough that i just keep tacking details from my fav characters onto him.....)

halls smp

so ive been on this minecraft roleplay server called halls smp with other artists for the past 2 years, theres a new season of it every few months with a different theme each time to keep things fresh and ive just been making AU versions of tsuru for it so ive had a lot of opportunity to think about him

season 1 - halloween - jiangshi tsuru

this one is almost entirely unchanged from his base characterization because i didnt want to rp too much and also didnt know there would be future seasons at this point (also basically after the first day i gave up on being called "tsuru" bc its too hard to pronounce and everyone called me canada anyway)

same basic story, guy dies and theres now a white haired version of him (actually this is the same for all the AUs). in fact im pretty sure the black haired version of this one is exactly base alivetsuru. basically what ive been interested in exploring is different kinds of death, the events leading up to it, and what kind of person he becomes afterwards (but also in equal amounts im interested in making fun designs and playing minecraft and fucking around)

(this feels like the start of the beginners guide...)

i associate him with doves and at the time, tarot card 18: the moon, but in retrospect i now think he's card 0: the fool.

season 2 - winter - ishmael

guy who died at sea and eaten by a interdimensional whale and got isekaied. loosely conceptually based off moby dick, although i havent actually read it LOL but i did spend a week reading up on drowning and hypothermia

strangely, his death didnt create a white haired version of him, perhaps because he didnt have anything in life to give up his identity and replace it with. (and also remember the hair color doesnt actually mean dead/alive)

im only calling him ishmael now in retrospect, at the time he was just tsuru/canada

while designing him i had the biggest crisis bc i didnt want him to look to much like this old old oc i had (pic 1) but then i sucked it up and went with it anyway

i never got around to drawing it but his fingers are black from frostbite thats why he wears gloves all the time.

hes one of my favorite iterations of tsuru he looks so mad or upset all the time it makes me want to tease him, and also i think the grey skin and eyebags are very cute

season 3 - golden grove - fox tsuru

honestly i think this is my favorite design of him i kinda popped off. i think im just a lot more comfortable working with warm colors. and also i associate white tsuru with foxes anyway (black tsuru is totally a catboy btw) (why is he not associated with cranes if his name is tsuru you ask?? bc cranes are hard to draw next question. he did start out based off cranes tbf, thats where the white hair and the tallness comes from)

dead fox possessing his dead human friend's body (although thats only the most literal interpretation of events; in all these iterations there's only ever been 1 person) the white tsurus are mostly interested in "moving on", whatever that means to each of them

hes sort of a set with s2 tsuru to me, mostly bc theyre the ideals that "white tsuru" and "black tsuru" hold taken to the extremes, and also theyre on opposite ends of the "hates people hates talking" and "loves to talk and mess with people" scale

anyway. hes tarot card 10: wheel of fortune to me

season 4 - wild west - mirage

the desert dragon, mirage. this is the season i started giving them actual names that arent "tsuru" and putting actual thought into the story lol previously it was just vibes-based character design. i have a short thing written about him thats meant to be the script for a comic, but i never got around to drawing it.

a sandworm-esque dragon that got tired of being a dragon and took up a passing witch's offer to give him a human form. this is all a metaphor i think. he has longer hair bc i wanted to spice things up a little

(also i consider this a form of death bc he left behind a giant sandworm/dragon skeleton somewhere in the desert)

the mirage-dragon thing comes from the shen 蜃 (which is used in the chinese word for mirage, 海市蜃楼 haishi shenlou, literally translating to "ocean city and shen's castle"). it's a clam-like dragon that produces foam that creates mirages over the ocean.

if u read "even if you slit my mouth", this is what the "shinkiro" or "shin" in recent chapters is. (i had one of those "smug because i already know all about the mythological creature a story is referencing" moments, which i also had with the four gods in yohaji bc i used to translate a game that mentioned them too)

isnt it romantic in a way? that the two places mirages are most known for happening are the ocean and the desert.

i dont have too much art of him because around this time i was uhhh (checks calendar) got back into yohaji and got consumed by it for a couple months lol (can u even blame me. it was july to september that was when like chapter 91 came out lol)

season 5 - fairytales/medieval - ophiuchus

NO FUCKING WAY YOURE NEVER GOING TO BELIEVE THIS for this one i actually ironed out what kind of people the black haired and white haired versions of him are. and also specifically this one isnt black tsuru but alive tsuru

i have a short poem thing about him, to summarize its like so many other fairytales about grateful animals granting their saviors something, but it doesnt end well for anyone

hes based off ophiuchus and asclepius of course, but also a lot of other snake stories in general, like the lindwurm and baishezhuan

to reiterate, for none of these stories do i consider there to ever actually have been 2 separate people, its always just 1 fucked up guy

i also sort of consider him to be a set with mirage, for both being serpents, and also for being "black tsuru whose personality is like white tsuru" and "white tsuru whose personality is like black tsuru", thereby codifying for myself that to him, someone who's stuck in his own head a lot, what matters most to him is his ideals, what all his actions are in pursuit of

bonus: dnd character - alba

i also have a version of him i play for dnd, named alba to match with my party who all have color themed names. a halfling ranger who's very small and very loud. except he has amnesia and cant remember anything from before he was 12 (hes around 18 now according to him), including that he's actually a changeling who just transformed into a halfling to seem older than he is to work at a bar and nearly died in a bar fight.

(if you spend as much time fretting over semantics as me, you may note that changelings are medium sized and cannot transform into halflings which are small sized, for which my explanation is that he's been in halfling form since he was a kid, and after the amnesia he thought he actually was a halfling. this is also why his hair is white btw bc changelings have white hair. pre-amnesia in his "actual" halfling transformation he had black hair. i care too much about semantics but hey isnt dnd the semantics game anyway?)

anyway congrats alba for being the only version of tsuru that hasn't outright "died"!! if only because dnd has actual rules and i can't pull my usual death-ghost nonsense as easily!!!

hes very ship of theseus to me, all versions of him are. what makes up a person? what defines them? is it their face, their appearance, their name? their personality, their memories, their ideals? if you slowly replace each of those, one at a time, with a copy thats very similar to the original, at what point are you a different person?

as thanks for reading all of this i'll reveal what some of the metaphors are, the core of who tsuru, as a character, is to me. maybe this is fairly obvious, but all the death and personality weirdness stuff is a convoluted metaphor for depression and autism, as well as the experience of reading the things you've written years ago, seeing old photos and others talking about who you were years ago and finding that person wholly unfamiliar, that you understand the thought process of that person no more than you would a stranger's, as a result of having taken apart your identity and replaced it piece by piece with things from people you like more than yourself.

im always scared of scrutinizing tsuru too hard because he's just a weird reflection of myself, and i think i'll only be able to write a version of him thats more of a "whole person" once i figure that out for myself. the only way you see your own reflection is through a mirror after all, a flattened 2D surface.

haha this got kinda weird and depressing and personal at the end (mostly bc ive been writing this in the middle of the night, its now 4am)

after seeing my soul laid bare like this, if theres one takeaway, i think its pretty obvious why i'm so enamored by the parts of yohaji that i talk about often (huh wasnt this a post about my oc why did it become about yohaji)

oh yeah i just realised u probably also wanted to hear more about my yohaji version of tsuru specifically. honestly theres not really more to it i just like drawing him in situations. like of course the same themes apply but i just like drawing this dude thats 90% the reason hes my sona. like heres a pokemon au of him i drew recently bc i wanted to draw them as kids and also as pokemon gijinkas

anyway thats all. not really bc i could go on and on about him but this is way too long and also way too personal at this point. i think about him a disproportionate amount, i only have 2 other ocs i remotely care about and the extent of my thoughts for those guys is "i think hes fun 👍"

So recently I've gotten just a tiny amount of attention recently (which is so awesome cool yippee!) And I've decided to make a little about/get to know me type post so that way I feel a little bit more transparent and you guys get to know me a little better!

Introduction

So as everyone knows my name is Clover! But I have two other names too, Clementine and Dustin. I don't have a preference for these names at all but if you had to ask me which one was my favorite I'd have to choose Clementine lol. But no matter what you can call me any of those names!

I am 18 years old (though everyone both online and irl automatically assume I'm in my 20's I have no idea how and why I'm literally the silliest creature) and my pronouns are they/she, again I don't have a preference to which pronoun is used so feel free to pick one

A little bit more about me

I know I don't have to share this but I feel since my dms are open to anyone it should be at least shared! I have ADHD and Autism, it sometimes does make talking a little bit harder, as sometimes i will forget to respond and if I do just message me again, I promise you're not bothering I'm just forgetful. I also do tend to have a "wait your turn to talk" issue (which has improved greatly but still there lol) but that goes more so for like a VC type deal (which I am open to those too)

Secondly, I don't have much as far as DNI (other than the basics like if you're an asshole, racist, any kind of hateful phobic yahda yahda) but if you are 15 or below please do not interact with me personally (I would also advise to not interact with my page). The only trigger I have is real world pregnancy stuff, anything that has to do with irl pregnancy I really don't want to hear it, it makes me feel uncomfortable. I would also appreciate it if you use tone indicators, if you don't that's fine and dandy but sometimes i will ask if something is a joke or sarcasm.

10. Favorite piece of clothing to draw

Oh my god I hate clothing like i do not have an intuitive understanding of how fabric drapes that is my number one “thing I need to do studies of” thing. That being said shoes are really hard to draw but pretty fun and easy to make look right with references. And pants are fun!! I know how those fold <3 I have a really hard time with dresses and skirts because the last time I wore one was prom and I have no idea how that moves

21. Art styles nothing like your own but you like anyways

This person’s art is sooooo good look at their COLORS and TEXTURES. People who have interesting colors are so cool and have such a good grasp on color theory.. and art styles that are more stylized in the body are also so cool. And in general lineless art AND intricately lined art… I used to do lineless but it is much easier and faster to make pieces that aren’t portraits make sense with lines, but on the other hand I am so impatient and my lines are sketches, and also I literally paint over my lines in the face every time. Like this is very funny to me

I’m still working on this one but # process. People who can make good lines that they keep for the face that are detailed enough and even INCORPORATE SHADOWS are SO cool

This might just be the best fandom I’ve ever been in, I can’t even begin to express how much i love being part of it, EVERYONE is so amazing, and creative, and talented, and talented, did i mention that everyone is talented? I was so worried that this would be another toxic fandom since i’ve seen how saw fans on reddit are…yikes…but the saw fandom on Tumblr is literally amazing.

A few more things i like about this fandom is how chill everyone is? Like if someone has a rarepair there really aren’t any(or at least that many) people who are like “Nooo thats so DUMB! They would be AWFUL TOGETHER! You’re so WEIRD!” Like in some other fandoms i’ve been in. And the fanfiction and fanart? Dont even get me STARTEDDDD. I’m blown away almost every time i read pretty much any saw fanfic, SOME OF YALL GOTTA BECOME ACTUAL AUTHORS 😭 and everyone’s fanart is just amazing, perfect, i love seeing how everyone draws and interprets the characters, i love seeing people make fanart or fanfiction for ships they like, i love seeing people just have fun, i love seeing everyone’s headcanons, i love how intense and serious some fanfics or fanart can be and how silly others can be(/pos, im one of the fanartists who just draws silly things too) and the fan edits are also amazing, i have like over 100 saved on Pinterest(if you guessed that they’re mostly of Amanda, Jill, and Hoffman you would be right). It’s awesome crying over the beautifully made heartbreaking angsty fan edits, and then immediately feeling better after watching an edit of Hoffman with the caption to it being “I’m gonna impregnate this man 🤭” both are amazing and make me very emotional for opposite reasons. Another thing i’d like to mention is all the analyses on the characters and ships, like it’s always amazing to see someone make an entire essay on why they like a certain ship, or why they like a certain character, or about an au they have, or why they have a certain headcanon, etc. i find great joy in just reading them for hours, seeing someone be that damn passionate about something gives me the biggest dopamine boost ever.

I really want to emphasize how much i love seeing rarepairs on here, like seriously. OP was right when they said that the three people who will screech with joy when they see you make something related to a rarepair they like really is worth it. There’s just something so wonderful about seeing someone make a da vinci level masterpiece of a ship they really like(whether that be rarepairs or the more popular ships) I haven’t even seen anyone on here yet who is negative about it, like i was so sure i would see people say “Omg those characters have hardly interacted and they hate eachother!” But when someone doesn’t agree with a rarepair or just any ship they’re usually so chill about it??(at least from what i’ve seen) In most other fandoms i’ve been in, rarepairs are highly judged and shit, so i would just draw my fanart of it and not post it at all no matter how much i wanted to post it. And also I’ve always been worried that my interpretations of a ship(like even a popular one) will be judged. But in this fandom, i don’t ever worry about that! I feel confident in posting a stupid drawing of Adam and Zepp smooching despite how if it was any other fandom i’ve been in, i’d get DRAGGED for shipping characters like them together.

Seriously, i love almost everything about this fandom(my main issue is still with the fandom on reddit…ew), i love making dumb posts and silly fanart for it, seeing all of you in the fandom make fanart, fanfiction, edits, analyses, headcanons, etc. gives me so much motivation. all of you are fantastic people, i love all of you so much, keep being awesome <33
