Hello Secret Santa!! 😍

I'm going to pre-apologize because these answers are probably not what you were looking for. LOL. But I'll try my best!

A favorite book you read? I finally started the Twisted Series this year (yeah, I know, I'm late) but Twisted Games has been my favorite so far! So much so that Rhys Larson has moved into the top 3 fictional boyfriends. 🤫

A favorite thing you tried? I started taking a Pilates class this year and I have to say I am not a Pilates girl. They're really fun and definitely work your muscles.

Favorite food or snack? Or drink? Favorite food: Call me an Elriel, but I love french fries and potatoes. LMAO. Put them next to a good steak and I'm a goner. Favorite snack: I honestly don't snack too much but recently I've been eating Dots, which are twisted pretzels sprinkled in a seasoning. My favorites are garlic parmesan and the cinnamon sugar ones. However, I will tell you that I would never say no to a cookie. 😁 Favorite drink: Coffee or water.

Favorite thing about the winter and holidays? I love the twinkly lights during the holidays and how it brings people together. I also love to bake (baking is my love language), so I usually end up making plates of cookies and giving them out to friends and family.

Favorite scent? I love lavender and vanilla together. Also mahogany teakwood (it smells like man, leave me alone). I did go sniffing around Bath and Body a while ago and found mahogany vanilla smells really good too. Oh, for the holiday season, I love just the traditional smell of a Christmas tree.

Favorite flower? Peonies!! It may be my self-insert in my fics when I make them Elain's favorite flower - don't judge. 😂

Favorite cold weather item? A warm sweater. I'm in my sweater weather days right now. Also, thick socks and leggings. Just the combo of the three is such a comfort for me during the cold weather.

Something you were obsessed with? Something you will never forget? I mean, isn't Elriel the obvious answer to my obsession? LOL. Something I will never forget (from this year) is the day I opened the package containing a printed copy of IDBTWY. I was on vacation when it was delivered and had to wait an entire week to finally have it in my hot hands. It was such a giddy feeling and I nearly cried. Four years of hard work and it was finally at my finger tips. That's something I'll never forget feeling.

eeee ok so osamu and i were kind of friends first before we got together bc we work together ! he swears he fell in love with me the moment he saw me, but all his attempts at flirting failed bc i did not think he was serious SHDFHS. & i am (affectionately) a little mean to him, so we both just thought neither of us were actually interested in the other (,,>﹏<,,) lots of mutual pining happened before we got together (everyone was so sick of us)

he finally confessed his feelings after he got hurt on a mission & told me that his biggest regret would be if he died without telling me how he felt :,) which was very sweet at the time, but i always tease him abt it bc how did he not know how i felt about him !? i am so bad at hiding it (˃̣̣̥ᴖ˂̣̣̥)

anyways i kinda skirted around your original question, but our first actual actual date when we were together was very sweet since we already knew each other well <3 we went out for coffee and he bought me some pretty flowers of course hehe. and then (bc he knows how much i love reading) he took me to the bookstore and we both picked out some books for the other !! he wrote a sappy little note in the cover of the book he bought me, idk how he managed to write it when i wasn't looking but :( but its so sweet i smile every time i see it <3 ahhh i just love him a lot

I swear to god one of these days were going to see a video of Amaury Guichon and he's going to be making some wings and they are going to look dope as hell, the detail of each feather will be breathtaking, he'll spray paint them to perfection, but as the video goes on, he's not building any sort of winged creature, just the wings. And then there's a human-sized harness (also made of chocolate, somehow, he can do it). And he's attaching the wings to the harness. And he's putting the harness on and he demonstrates how he can flap the wings. And then he'll be off. Out the window and up and up and up. And we'll be looking at the livestream (it's a livestream now) and we'll scream "No, Amaury, the sun! It's going to melt the wings!". But he knows this already. And he is free.

"thank you, i am unwell because the incident was hurtful to me due to my childhood, which was bad." I CANT!!!!

do you know how many people are mad that authors use "growled" as a word for "said"? it's just poetics! they do not literally mean "growled," it's just a common replacement for "said with force but in a low tone." it's normal! do you hear me!! help me i love you please let me out of here!!!

So a lot of political scandals just dropped in the last 24 hours

-NC Governor Candidate Mark Robinson's online posts were found, including some VERY graphic descriptions (like seriously, do not read if you're not 18) of him cheating on his wife, calling himself a black Nazi, and expressing support for reinstituting slavery. His email address was also found on Ashley Madison

-Robert F Kennedy Jr was revealed to be cheating on his wife with a reporter (and that isn't even the weirdest thing since federal law enforcement opened an investigation into him allegedly cutting off the head of a whale and taking it home with him less than 24 hours ago)

-GOP Senate candidate who is the CEO of a bank has been found accepting millions of dollars from what seem to allegedly be Mexican drug cartels.

-Finally, probably the biggest bombshell, according to multiple eyewitness testimonies within sealed sworn affadavits, Congressman Matt Gaetz allegedly invited a 17-year-old girl to a drug-fueld sex party

And we haven't even hit October, folks. Again, these are all still breaking news stories, so things are subject to change, but oh man oh man.
