Ranch for the ask game

Wow i feel hungry just thinking about it . I don't have a specific dish but a lot of stuff i wanna try from a number of shows . So food i wanna try from these shows specifically:

1) Ingredients: first of all i had no idea gameplay is a chef in real life and that he created all the recipes shown in the show . I wanna try them all and if it wasn't the slow burn of the century 💀.

2) what did you eat yesterday? : All the dishes in that thing looked delicious 🤤 i have tried Korean and thai cuisine but never Japanese so i really hope i do one day cus man do they look amazing and put together also The show in itself is amazing apart from the food shiro and kenji's story was so heartwarming at the same time tear jerking and all the LGBTQ themes explored on the show hit very close to home.

Also special mention to uwma for introducing thai desserts to me they are soo good and thankfully i had the fortune of trying them .

Shangqi just came back from an avenger meeting to see you in bed, wrapped like a dumpling.

‘Hey babe,’ you tried to give him a weak wave, wincing in pain.

‘Booster shot today?’ You nod, groaning once more.

Say no more, he’s off to get you lunch because ‘YOU NEED TO EAT’ (his words)

My personal Chinese comfort food is poached rice🤤

So a good 15 minutes later, he has set up a table that can be placed on your bed with the sumptuous meal.

After your meal and his shower, he sees you trying to get up to your computer to do some administrative stuff for school/work.

‘WHAT ARE YOU DOING? YOU NEED TO LIE DOWN. REST.’

‘Babe, I just took a booster jab I’m not dead.’

He completely ignores you and carries you back to the bed like how some people carry their bigger dogs heh.

He charges your phone fully for you to read/watch your favorite comics/shows and gets you snacks.

He does not forget to bring a huge ass water bottle that is at the side of the bed.

Coming back from a call with Katy, he sees you completely flat out on the bed, sleeping like a log.😴

So off to the kitchen to make macaroni soup for dinner😋

You wake up to see him in a frilly apron, carrying the same table inside the room, only with two servings this time.

He sits beside you in bed as the two of you watch your weekly movies.🥰

Rick Flag

Rick hears you stumbling around the kitchen as he comes back from his morning run.

Thank god because you almost took the whole boxes of cereals that were on the table down with you.

‘BABE WHAT HAPPENED?’

So you tell him that you really just wanted some food but your body was telling you otherwise. Side effects from the booster jab you took yesterday, you tell him.

Rick can do you one better. He hauls you up the stairs using a fireman lift (he had obviously learnt it in the army) and settles you back into bed.

‘I’ll be back soon. Please don’t move for your own sake.’

After a good two hour nap, the smell of freshly baked cookies woke you up, leading you to the kitchen downstairs.

There he was, baking a whole tray of chocolate chip cookies while Barry, your St Bernard is at his side, hoping that he would accidentally drop some. Thank god Rick didn’t.

‘Did I ever tell you how much I love you?’ Rick chuckles. ‘Is that your stomach talking?’

He prepares two cups of hot chocolate along with the cookies. Let’s just say it was the best breakfast you had.

You retreat back to bed, taking the advise from the nurse who said, ‘Just sleep it away.’

By the time you wake up again, it was about 3 in the afternoon and you were feeling much better. Still a bit sore though.

You walk down to try and find Rick, only to see a box of food with a sticky note attached to it.

‘Took Barry out for a walk so that you could get some well deserved rest! Remember to eat❤️’

Turns out he got you your favorite Thai food just a few blocks down.

Again, what did you do to deserve him?

Today is a productive day! I brought my car in to be fixed, paid the electric bill, and updated our roommate bills spreadsheet all before 9 am! Now I'm going back to bed for a bit, and then I'm going to finish applying for health insurance, call my old health insurance, and start looking for apartments in Colorado so I can decide which store to tranfer to so I can tell my manager as soon as possible and he can get the process started and put in a good word for me (I'm the Top Cashier at my store right now, and I'm so proud!).

Also? Yesterday was wonderful! I got my free pizza at our local fancy Italian restaurant and had a butterscotch budino for dessert (which was DECADENT 🤤), played Animal Crossing, put on some makeup, and went to my mom's place. She bought me a new bowtie! Silk, purple tiedye bowtie (that just HAPPENED to match the lipstick I decided to wear). I love it so much! Then we went boots shopping and she bought me not only new all-terrain hiking boots (literally just the same Merrels I already have that are beginning to fall apart 7-8 years after I got them, but brand new), which was the plan, but also new snow boots to replace my old heavy ones that are WAY too big for me (and very difficult to walk in)! And they're North Face brand, nice shoes, so they should last me a while, as well! After boots shopping, my mom and I were going to go to a specific nice restaurant but they were busy and my mom didn't get a reservation, so we went to the new Thai place instead, and it was delicious as always. After dinner, we went back to my mom's and looked at her physical paper road map of all the states to start planning my drive down to Colorado. I took some good notes. Then I said goodbye and went and made cake and watched half a movie with 3 of my friends. It was a great day!
