ok so i finished Flowers in the Attic and it is so good. extremely taboo and gross i dont recommend reading it if your sensitive at all but i enjoyed it

#also its dedicated to her mother LOVE the pettiness #i got the version with the foreward by Gillian Flynn and that was #so gorgously written and perfectly explains why i enjoyed it too #love fairytales that are a bit fucked #i love the detail of Cathy forgiving chris for raping her and blaming herself becauseif felt so real especially with how she kept talking #about it #and i know that helped someone who read these books feel better about themselves and make sense of their trauma #this book is so well thought out and beautifully written #flowers in the attic
