Giving you a chance for a ramble, because I'm REALLY curious: What are all the Half life Pokémon trainers teams like? we've seen some from Gordon and Tommy, but I'm curious about everyone else's teams!

OH YEAHHH!!! Ok :) (these teams are all subject to change btw)

Gordon: Pokemon Researcher

The MC of his own story! Once a bright young boy with dreams of becoming a Pokemon master- but ended up as a researcher instead once those dreams seemed unlikely. That doesn't mean his team isn't strong, however! Even if he doesn't use them for battles often, they spend most of their time hauling samples from Ultra Wormholes and fighting off whatever tries to come out of them.

Team: Rhyperior, Copperajah, Mudsdale, Flygon, Crustle, and Aggron.

Benrey: Ultra Recon Squad Member?

A mysterious person who emerged with his partner, Poipole, from one of the Ultra Wormholes that had opened in the region. His life (and pokemon) are uncertain by those who know him, even his claim as a URS member lacks clear evidence. It's unclear if he has any known goal as people can barley get a read on him.

Team: Blacephalon, Xurkitree, Buzzwole, Nihilego, and Guzzlord.

Tommy: Pokemon Researcher/ Elite Four Member

New to the region's Elite Four, he is dedicated to having a fair and fun time with both of his jobs. His priority doesn't lie within his team's strength, but his high friendship with his Pokemon (which coincidentally benefits the former.) All of his pokemon are fast, dodge attacks well, can take a hit, and return with attacks critical in strength. It's a wonder he didn't end up the champion.

Team: Boltund, Raichu, Pawmot, Toxtricity, and Manectric.

Dr. Coomer: Pokemon Researcher/ Tournament Enthusiast

Like Gordon in his past, once wanting to be the champion, he somehow ended up in a comfortable position as a researcher instead. However, that didn't dissuade his love for a challenge, signing up for as many battle tournaments as he could in his free time. His team has shrunk over the years, but that doesn't mean they've lost their touch!

Team: Hitmonchan, Crabominable, Bewear, and Grapploct

Bubby: Pokemon Researcher/ Contest Enthusiast

Unlike his rowdy coworkers, his team isn't meant for battling (but that doesn't mean they haven't battled). He instead hopes to one day participate and win a pokemon contest, however the day where he hasn't chickened out from signing up hasn't happened yet.

Team: Espathra, Beheeyem, Salazzle, and Armarouge.

Darnold: Pokemon Medicinal Researcher

His job is to make potions that will eventually be sold to the public to help poor injured pokemon with low hp. However, the process of making such is much harder than one may think. His team is only really used for helping him with the task.

Team: Aromatisse, Weezing, and Dedenne.

Forzen: Pokemon Ranger

Secretly a softie, this tough as nails ranger spends most of his time helping people and pokemon alike. His team is on the smaller side but they are tough. He's got a strange rivalry with Benrey.

Team: Altaria, Exeggutor, and Garchomp.

G-Man: Ex- Champion/ Mysterious Businessman

It's unclear why he dropped his champion title- but those unfortunate enough to battle him still have to deal with his old team.

Team: Honchkrow, Spiritomb, Malamar, Froslass, Kingambit, and Absol.

I don't even know how the ultra beast got there. It just showed up. And after calling the Pokémon catchers I thought this would be the end of it but this thing decided to

1. Come back and stare at me in the hallway at 3 am

2. Eat ALL the pokepuffs I was saving for my eeveelutions

3. Continue to follow me every week or so, staring at my face, begging for food or some crap like that

How do I put it somewhere where it won't die but it won't be doing this?

That ain't normal. Wormholes only appear in Alola, so it's possible that this UB was released by a trainer, especially given how chill it is 'round humans.

By your description it might be a Nihilego, which is BAD, or a Poipole with is... Manageable. Both are VERY poisonous so unless you know what you're doing, I don't recommend tryin' to feed or pet it.

Contact your Rangers, and the main site of Aether in Alola. They can travel to other regions if a UB appears there if they are called by the Rangers or the Pokemon League; and they'll probably be able to find how it ended up at your house and if it has a trainer's.

"Fun" fact: Altrough releasin' 'mons is not illegal if they are native to the area and were wild-catched; releasing Dragon or Poison-types in a city; or any 'mon considered Pseudo-legendary or higher (that includes UBs!) can be prosecuted. So if it's a feral UB, someone is going to get a hefty fine.

The Poipole was sitting inside the cage, playing with its feet idly and smiling. It was clearly unbothered, or maybe it just didn’t realize it was being sold.

“Do you have any idea how much time this cost me? How many other fekkin contracts I could have taken-!?” She shouted, jabbing a clawed finger at the floating camera.

“And you can’t even bother to show up in person!”

The man on her phone held one hand up in attempt to silence Victoria.

In a flash, numerous Rocket Grunts teleported into the building, Psychic types by each of their sides.

Victoria’s scales immediately raised in alarm, looking from side to side.

“You fucking RAT!” She screamed at the camera. Rose simply snapped his fingers, the feed cutting there.

The poacher hastily grabbed a Pokeball from her belt, freeing her Hydreigon. She grabbed the Poipole from its cage, still cursing under her breath.

“VAYNE, OUTRAGE!”

I have (pauses) a question- So Anabel and Looker were last seen in G7, but since then we've had a lot of new Pokémon introduced. Are there any new Pokémon, or even older Pokémon that you think pair well with either of them?

Additional add-on, since the two of them are known for, and were introduced together as hunting Ultra Beasts, are there specifically any Ultra Beasts you think either of them might catch out on the job and add to their team?

HMM! Good question!

I've been told that Anabel's issue is Power Creep, so maybe a new competitive addition would be interesting. In SunMoon, she got Lucario... An interesting answer would be the addition of Dragapult, something so good that Geeta, a character who shares a lot of personality traits with Anabel btw, gained in Indigo Disk. It seems like a Pokemon that's great for Interpol AND competitive.

Looker isn't much of a typical Pokemon Trainer that we're very much aware of. His style works in utility and partnership, something heavily akin to a Pokemon Ranger. Boltund is possible for its dex number being #836, Looker's original codename, and for how it is a heroic dog that contrasts against the gentleman thief Thievul. Honestly it was a shock he never got one.

As for Ultra Beasts, I don't typically see them using UBs... But if they were to use ones...

For Anabel, maybe a Naganadel? Just a bunch of dragons today, huh? Plus "Poipole" because Anabel is poipole herself.

For Looker, this doesn't technically count but, Silvally. I used to think that Looker would get the left over Type: Null since it's the perfect defense to fight UBs with. I know it's not exactly a UB, but it has the same base stat total as them believe it or not lmao.
