it’s one of those rare times that the scions have time for themselves - so amaya had suggested to g’raha that they’d go traveling, just spend time together while adventuring, no world saving, just taking quests as they encounter them.

somehow that made them end up in costa del sol. they both look absolutely terrible after just having fought some cursed plant that had decided to throw them around like ragdolls - and charmingly spit some goo over them too -. still, this is it, isn’t it? those adventures g’raha wanted to be part of, those days spend sleeping under the stars, long talks by the camp fire... at least she hopes that this lived up to his expectations.

when she sees the little coastal area, amaya just takes g’raha’s hand and starts running “care for a shortcut?” she asks, but does not give him any time to answer. instead she simply runs down the steep hillside, barely avoiding falling over and probably rolling down over all those stones ...the raen laughs ( by the twelve when had been the last time she had laughed like this ), eyes wandering to one of the cliffs at the side. she can see g’raha understand her intentions “wait---” but too late. they both jump down, falling into the water underneath.

“well we needed a bath anyway, didn’t we?” she jokes and chuckles when g’raha slaps some water into her direction. “our bags didn’t” he reminds her, but she can see him holding back a grin himself.

swimming to the shore, he helps her out of the water, their faces getting close. both hesitate for a moment, but then they quickly continue their journey. those moments had come more often while traveling. those little glances, holding each other’s hand, moving closer to each other as they sleep... and yet they never act on it, simply move on.

“amaya are you coming?” his voice rips her out of her thoughts and she nods, following him to the little community of costa del sol. it seemed like some sort of fest had just started, people laugh around fires, tell tales, play music and dance... or perhaps it’s simply the atmosphere of the place.

they mingle easily with the people, finding their way easily to the buffet. both their eyes seem to shine at the sight of the food “no more dry rations!” they exclaims at the same time and start loading unholy amounts on their plates. 

it’s a good time, just joining the singing and dancing. just being themselves. days like that have their own beauty, where he is neither a scion nor the exarch and she is not the warrior of light. it makes her wonder what life would be like if she had met him like that - just as amaya while he was just g’raha. something told her they would have still gotten along.

as the stars travel above them, they start to distance themselves a little from the crowd, walking by the shore while holdings hands. again this strange intimacy between them, where they do not talk about it. do not fully act on it. or so she thought until g’raha stops, looking at her. “hmm? do I still have food on my face?” amaya smiles and he shakes his head “no it’s...” he leans down, carefully kissing her. 

her first thought is that he has incredibly soft lips. her second thought is, that he kisses her with such gentleness, it makes her think he’s worried about this. her third thought is that she absolutely has to tease him.

as he moves away, amaya does her best to tear up, her fingers touching her own lips “you... that was my first kiss you just... you took it and...” she can see the panic in his face, followed by a frown as he probably remembers all the times he had seen her kiss someone. and amaya can’t help but snort and cackle.

“I am sorry --- oh you should have seen your face ! did you really worry there?” she wheezes, trying to get some air into her lungs. with a grin she tugs him closer, wrapping her arms around him and kissing him. “you’re a little bit too cute for your own good, aren’t you?”

"K-k- ki- kISS?!?! Me?! Y-your sure you...you d-do-don't want t-to kiss Chase or-?"

He flusters brighter, first the hug then this. Chase, who has a shit eating grin on his face, is ushered out quickly by Chad into one of the bedrooms so that they aren't watching Kevin do this. Since they know he gets nervous showing affection infront of anyone. He watches them leave with wide eyes and turns back to you with even wider ones, gulping and taking his hat off, covering the view of the camera with it. You hear shuffles, and feel a warm, soft, and gentle pair of lips on your cheek and then he pulls away and the hat is back on his head. He's still blushing to all hell and back but atleast he could give you a kiss!

 simon ∞ how would you feel & react if your best/closest friend(s) have a crush or confessed to you? (or, how do you tend to act when you like someone a lot, platonically or romantically, if you do not have a best friend or crush?)

I have had a close friend confess to me before, actually! I was such a mess that I could barely speak to them the rest of the day, I was so flustered. 

They like to laugh at me about this story, because while we did end up dating for a while, I was so disoriented from their confession that I couldn’t even respond with a comprehensive answer when they asked me out. I switched back and forth between yes and no so many times in one day that I’m almost convinced they got to the point where they only kept asking me “are you sure?” because they wanted to see me flip back and forth sjhkjdsg

tldr; just make things easier for both of us and gib me a little kis, it’ll get my thoughts together much quicker 😂

the apex ∞ what is a time or moment where you felt brave, special, or excited after you pulled something off? 

that’d probably be the first time I ever performed on stage! I went into it a bit in this post, but I’m willing to believe it’s what really got me into theatre and performing arts in general! I’d attended the school talent show a bunch of times prior for my two older sisters, but nothing came in comparison to actually dancing around on stage for the first time! rehearsal in the school gym was one thing, but performing in a big auditorium really felt like another! 

I haven’t done theater in a while because a lot of the musicals n things my college puts on have been requiring lots of professional dance experience which I,,,,,do not have, but I’d definitely love to get back into armature theater in the future! :DD
