I can see Max being son of Ares or Zeus and I’m even more into the Zeus idea. Idk why really but I get that vibe from him.

Oscar could be son of Athena for me. He’s level headed and calm, knows his facts and has this unique humour that not everyone understands. Also I feel like people underestimate him with his mind and all so I’d say it fits the Athena children vibe. Or Hades actually. I could see that too because of his calmness and strength but it’s not as fitting for me as Athena.

Lando is a son of Poseidon to me. He’s super chaotic, does some stupid shit but mostly comes out unscathed, is everywhere and nowhere at the same time, also the humour just fits for me. This is more of a resemblance to Percy but I think both of them think of themselves like a goofballs and not so smart but caring and people around them think they are actually quite scary (like Percy when he’s fighting and Lando on track??? Idk if it makes sense in general but it does to me and delulu is my solulu)

Charles as son of Apollo is so good for me i don’t even remember what I had in mind for him really haha

max is soooo a son of zues and theres no doubt in my mind he can fly and takes his gf on flights alll the time esp at night. he’d fly them up to the highest point they could get to stargaze. he’d also love to shock his girl, like little shocks of static electricity every time they hold hands or he places his hand on her back or waist. he’d find a way to send currents of electricity to her, like tapping on the dinner table and she suddenly feels a light tingling n knows her bf is watching her. or she picks up her fork and it shocks her a little. idk how electricity works but in my head bc he’s half god he can do whatever he wants w lightning. can so see it storming over him when he gets angry and gf is standing next to him w an umbrella. it’d be so funny.

i think oscar is athena or hades too! i was gonna say that but i wasn’t sure if anyone else had other ideas. i think he’s very smart already but as a son of athena he would by far be the smartest at camp and seek out all kinds of knowledge everywhere. he’s always got his face shoved in a book on fight strategies or is reading an encyclopedia to expand his knowledge. knows multiple languages and is always correcting people on random things, gently and not condescending, just like, ‘hey actually- let me correct you!” and people are kind of annoyed by the boy genius but also endeared by the random facts he’s always spouting.

i can so see him as a son of hades, still really nice but gloomy or kinda melancholic and stuff. he’s so kind and careful with everyone around him and scared of hurting anyone, knows he’s very powerful and doesn’t want people to fear him for it, or dislike him more than they already do. he grows up all alone like nico and bianca do in the percy jackson series, can you imagine him living in the lotus casino his whole life then being brought out? can imagine him with the bubbliest girl at camp, a child of demeter or something who brings life everywhere she goes. like there’s a trail of daisies following her everywhere she goes. her and oscar go on picnics and she grows fresh fruits for them to snack on, picking berries from vines and feeding them directly to him. he’s never tasted something as good as the fresh strawberries she presses to his lips. when he eats ambrosia, he tastes a mix of fresh strawberries and her kisses.

lando is so a son of poseidon u got it spot on!!! agree w everything you said. genuinely spends 90% of his free time swimming and he loves taking his gf into the ocean and showing her around the underwater cities. also sneaking away to makeout under the lake because he can breathe underwater, and other things, and it certainly impresses his partners when he shows them how long he can hold his breath.

Which characters do you like the most that the fandom at large would tear you apart for? Why do you like them and why do you think they get so much hate?

well the most obvious answer to this question is miss rachel berry. i absolutely adore her and i remember being so happy that the show had a female main character who i loved and then i entered the fandom expecting people to feel the same and well. as you might be able to imagine i was in for a rude awakening

and okay im not gonna pretend that rachel was a perfect human being because she sure wasn’t. but she’s really not as terrible as people are claiming she is. i love her because she’s incredibly ambitious, funny and (yeah i’m gonna say it) a good friend

as for why people dislike her so much i think a lot of it has to do with her being the main character and in turn taking up a bunch of screentime. in addition to that she can be quite selfish (although that applies to almost everyone on this show) and doesn’t always realize when a line has been crossed (again she is really not the worst offender when it came to that though)

and then i do believe that the whole lea michele thing added to people disliking her because this fandom has problems separating the actor from the character but i don’t wanna gonna go into that too deeply lmao

other characters i love who aren’t really appreciated by most of the fandom are definitely tina, artie and the season 4 newbies

the hatred tina is getting is downright absurd at times because what did she ever actually do to deserve it? in my opinion the whole blaine debacle in season 4 is the only time where she actually did something bad. and then this isn’t even what people are criticizing her for so like what is the fandoms deal with her lmao

similarly to rachel i love her because she’s ambitious and not afraid to stand up for herself. but exactly that seems to be the problem because i guess people don’t like it when anyone who’s not their favorite character is taking up the spotlight in any shape or form

artie is a case where i genuinely don’t know why anyone has a strong hatred for him. i could get not having strong feelings about him because he admittedly didn’t do much but that alone should mean that there’s no reason to dislike him so much

and yeah the conversation with ryder in lights out was bad but sam was just as guilty as artie when it comes to that situation and he is adored by most of the fandom

i know artie gets criticized for his treatment of women and i agree that it wasn’t great all of the time but in the end he was a great boyfriend (especially compared to other characters) and in my opinion a very fun character

and lastly i think the season 4 newbies are mostly just disliked because their introduction to the show was pretty bad in most cases. and i can understand feeling kinda bitter that your favorite character got replaced by a low budget version of them but i think that watering the newbies down to that is a disservice to them

they all developed to be really fun characters who aren’t just copies of the older characters and did the best they could with the admittedly not always great storylines they got

in my opinion it is kinda telling though that kitty is by far the most popular newbie character. this fandom at large just has a thing for the mean cheerleader and will ignore every other character

Helluva Dad Vol. 3: Nerd

As I mentioned in the first one-shot, the events of the Harvest Moon Festival took place before Murder Family in this AU, so the discovery of the angelic weapon went differently. In other words, this prequel is where the canon divergence begins. Enjoy!

It's gonna be nice working with him. I asked him if he wants to join I.M.P.

Moxxie couldn't get those words out of his head. Striker working at I.M.P.? As much as he hated to admit it, he could actually picture it. The cowboy was an ace at… Well, everything, as far as he knew. This didn't mean Moxxie was happy at the prospect of having him as a co-worker, however. Striker had done nothing but rub Moxxie's lack of physical strength and 'balls to his face; heaven, even Striker's five-year-old kid made fun of him in a more innocent, child-like manner.

Moxxie felt a pit in the bottom of his stomach; if Striker does join I.M.P., where would this leave him in the company? Blitzo's the boss, Millie the powerhouse, and Striker might as well replace Moxxie as the weapons expert, not to mention become an additional powerhouse. Where would that leave Moxxie? Besides, he wasn't sure if he wanted to work with the guy who humiliated him via song, the one thing Moxxie thought he'd at least be better at.

Joe and Lynn never liked Moxxie for Millie from the beginning. 'Too much of a wimpy fag', he overheard them say more than once. 'He can't handle something as simple as gathering eggs from the chicken coop*, how is he going to protect or provide for Millie?' Striker, on the other hand, was strong, imposing, fearless, manly. They treated him more like a son-in-law than Moxxie even if the cowboy wasn't wedded into the family. Moxxie was no fool; he'd seen his parents-in-law subtly trying to get Millie alone with Striker and have them spend time together, practically screaming 'dump your wimp of a husband and fuck this real man'.

These thoughts crossed Moxxie's mind as he climbed upstairs. Everyone else was outside, which was good because he wanted to be alone right now.

There was a thump in one of the rooms. Following the sound out of sheer curiosity, Moxxie noticed a white glow filtering underneath the door. Hey, isn't it Striker's room? Moxxie has a policy against entering someone's bedroom without permission, but his spite towards the cowboy imp and curiosity got the better of him.

He found little Jake on the bed. The impling looked frightened for a second until he noticed it was only Moxxie. "You not daddy!"

"What do you go there, little fella?"

"Nothig!" Jake spread out his arms in a feeble attempt at hiding whatever thing was on the bed. Moxxie only had to take a few steps forward to peek over Jake.

"Oh, my crumbs!" There, in a long case, was a beautiful black rifle with silvery designs that almost seemed to glow with a heavenly light. "A genuine carmine crafted blessing-tipped rifle."As Moxxie tried to touch it, Jake snapped his teeth at his hand. "Hey, watch it!"

"No touch! Daddy's rifle!" Jake growled adorably. Geez, the brat's got his father's awful character.

"How… How in the fuck did he get one of these?"

"Why don't you ask me, little dude?" Moxxie and Jake froze, though the latter seemed more like 'shit I'm in trouble' than 'shit I'm dead.

Striker was leaning against the door, arms crossed. He didn't look very happy.

"Boy, I thought we'd talked about this already," he told Jake sternly.

"I… I just wanna touch it, daddy." Jake whispered timidly.

"W-Why do you have this?! Mister!" Moxxie asked nervously. "You are aware this kind of weapon can kill…"

"...Demon royalty?" Striker finished grimly.

"Yes, that."

"Duuh! That what it for, dummy!" Jake stuck his tongue at Moxxie.

"Kiddo, Mrs. Lin is baking the lava berry pie you like so much. Why don't you go take a look while daddy has a word with Moxxie?" Did Striker just call him by his name? Jake yelled happily and climbed off the bed, speeding out of the room.

Moxxie felt a shiver down his spine as Striker closed the door shut behind him. "Well, I'm… I'm relatively concerned by your possession of this…" he stepped back warily as the cowboy walked towards him with a devilish grin, eyes glowing as he came to a halt right in front of Moxxie, silently staring down at him. "I'm also glad my instant dislike of you has been validated!"

Neither moved for a while. Then, against Moxxie's expectations, Striker gently moved him aside to gently run his fingers along the weapon's side. There was a sad, almost nostalgic look on his face.

"I cherish it, you know. It used to belong to someone who was very dear to me. Nowadays I rarely use it, though. So it's more like a memento." Moxxie was quite surprised at the emotion in his voice.

"Then you have used it."

"Well, I wasn't always a farmhand, little fella. Let's say I'd make a living as a hitman." Striker sat down on his bed, eyes on the rifle. "Whenever people wanted someone dead, they'd call me. Kind of what you guys do at I.M.P., but down here in Hell." He sighed. "Then my… priorities shifted."

Moxxie was about to ask him what he meant when he spotted a small box full of toys. "...Jake."

Striker nodded. "When Jake was born, I realized that kind of job endangered both my and his life on a nearly daily basis, so I had to retire and find a safer job. It's not as exciting as the thrill of shooting people's brains out of their skulls, but it puts bread on the table."

Moxxie wasn't sure what to say. Tentatively, he sat down next to Striker, rubbing the back of his head awkwardly. He wasn't pushed off, so he guessed it was okay.

"You've done a decent job, you know. He's a good kid… Most of the time." he murmured the last part.

An awkward silence followed until Striker spoke again. "So, Blitz said you're I.M.P.'s weapons expert."

"I am. Why, is it such a surprise for you?"

Striker shrugged. "What can I say? You don't give that impression, wimp."

Offended, Moxxie pulled out his pistol. "Walther P.38!"

Striker raised an eyebrow. "Looks pretty anemic compared to the peacekeeper."

"It's not about size, you know. It's about stamina."

"Is that so?" Striker smirked. "What can you tell me about the Thompson submachine gun?"

"Fifty rounds a drum, twenty-five a mag!" Moxxie said in excitement. "It's a good weapon, but its cocking mechanism always jams. The Russian P.P.S. personal assault weapon is a better choice."

"Maybe, but in the end, it's the experience that wins the day. It's not all about firepower."

"Indeed! I mean, even the best gun in all of Hell can be wasted in the hands of a newbie."

Striker laughed and gave Moxxie a strong pat on the back, unintentionally sending him to the ground.

"Not bad, wimp. Looks like you are good at something, after all."

Moxxie blinked in disbelief. "Was that a compliment?"

"Don't get used to it, little nerd." Striker chuckled, smirking. "You still have a long way to go to earn my respect."

"Who're you calling a nerd?!"

"Bowtie, fragile arms, pushover, you're afraid of a mere rooster. Should I continue?"

"For your information, I'm not afraid of the rooster!" Moxxie crossed his arms. Striker raised an eyebrow. "...I simply don't like the idea of getting infected with the avian flu, thank you very much."

Smirking again, Striker closed the case and walked out of the room. "Nerd."

"I'm not a nerd!"

*A callback to the scenes in some movies when someone goes to the chicken coops to collect the eggs and is attacked by the rooster. Come on, you can't tell me you don't see this happening to Moxxie. And if living roosters are a pain, just imagine one straight from Hell.

Yes, I expected people to hate her. In fact, I’m actually surprised they don’t dislike her more, though I think it’s good for people to see her complexities. She’s already had some development, and we’ll talk about it a bit below!

She removed the bracelet from James in an attempt to be kind. It doesn’t mean she has romantic feelings for him, but in her weird way, she regards him as a friend. She thought she was out from under her mother’s control and could free him from the spell. She thought it would be better for him, and for her.

During the engagement scene, she could've taken off the bracelet again (but she didn't). I'm assuming she still needs to use James, but she tells him that he could break off with Cordelia & be engaged w/her. Doesn't make sense bc she's not under Tatiana's control anymore. What gives?

She is still under Tatiana’s control in the sense that she knows, now, that Tatiana isn’t in this alone. Tatiana was unconscious when Grace was attacked by a demon demanding that she go back to controlling James or be killed. None of that has changed. Grace now knows the demon who works with her mother also wants her to control James, and is willing to hurt her. This is the reason Grace went back and put the bracelet back on James. She fears her mother, who can certainly strike at her from the Citadel, and now she fears the forces that work with her mother, too.

They’re both real. Grace is a contradictory person as so much of what she does is under duress, or motivated by fear. She wanted to stop Matthew and she used the power she has been granted (she was not born with it) to do it because it’s what she knows, her only source of power.  She can lash out at Matthew and also want to spare James.

when  you  return  after  the  winter  holidays,  it’s  obvious  that  something  is  -  wrong,  but  you  do  your  thing  and  you  pretend  everything  is  okay.  your  mother  in  all  of  her  magic  and  love  writes  you  a  letter,  telling  you  that  you’ll  be  in  her  care  and  that  only  stresses  you  out  more,  giving  you  gray  hair  and  bags  underneath  your  eyes  that  never  seem  to  away  from  that  point  on.  every  blink  is  heavier  now,  every  sliver  of  information  repeated  as  least  three  more  times,  everything  you  learn  adds  a  little  more  weight  to  your  shoulders.  but  you  soldier  on.  you  become  more  and  more  high  strung,  more  sharp,  more  wretched  with  stress  that  shouldn’t  be  yours  to  shoulder.  you  are  still  an  intelligent  girl,  still  a  bright  witch,  still  gleaming  with  potential;  but  you  almost  permanently  look  like  you’ve  been  handled  an  impossible  task  and  worse,  you  wear  your  flushed  cheeks  almost  as  your  father  did,  a  fact  that  you  dislike  whenever  you  see  yourself  in  the  mirror.

⠀ ﹟𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐬

⠀ ⠀  ﹟𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐧.⠀ ⠀ has  a relatively  tough  exterior,  but  wow,  words  hurt  and  hestia  is  a  lot  more  sensitive  than  she  cares  to  admit.  say  one  off  thing  about  her  and  she’ll  be  all  “i  can’t  stand  it  here!”  and  storm  off  angrily,  but  she’s  really  just  gonna  go  cry  in  the  owlery  and  talk  to  the  owls  as  if  they  can  understand  her  through  her  snot  bubbles.

  ⠀ ⠀ ﹟𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐧.⠀ ⠀ is  this  genius  of  a  witch,  right,  but  is  the  messiest  person  ever.  her  area  in  her  dorm  is  just  .  .  .  yeah,  it’s  messy.  she  comes  to  the  library,  throws  seven  books  down,  loses  ten  pages  of  notes;  is  disorganized  and  completely  messy,  but  at  least  she  always  looks  put  together.

  ⠀ ⠀ ﹟𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐧.⠀ ⠀ coming  right  off  of  the  last  one,  because  she  cares  most  about  her  image  +  her  reputation  than  she  does  anything  else,  mostly  because  it’s  all  that  she  thinks  she  has.  so,  yeah,  she  may  be  consistently  stressed  out  and  on  the  brink  of  a  breakdown,  but  at  least  she  looks  GOOD.

  ⠀ ⠀ ﹟𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐧.⠀ ⠀ her  style  is  a  little   .  .  .  amateur,  if  i’m  being  honest. very  season  one  rachel  berry.  always  looks  in  uniform  even  if  she’s  out  of  uniform  and  it’s  because  she  has  no  personality  than  being  a  ravenclaw  prefect  idk  what  you  want  me  to  tell  you.  she  has  never  been  normal  once.

  ⠀ ⠀ ﹟𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐧.⠀ ⠀ i  laugh  and  kid,  but  she’s  genuinely  a  genius.  might  have  a  bit  of  dyslexia,  but  is  just,,,  a  smart  kid.  also  makes  it  her  entire  personality  though,  so  i’m  not  sure  what  to  do  about  that.

 ⠀ ⠀ ﹟𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐧.⠀ ⠀ also,  not  to  be  That  Girl  that’s  so  quirk  n  clumsy,  but  hestia  is  always  injured.  not  gravely,  but  a  scrape  on  her  knee,  a  cut  on  her  cheek,  tape  around  her  fingers,  etc.  etc.  she’s  a  problem,  to  say  the  least,  and  always  hastily  takes  care  of  herself  (  aka,  cleans  it,  leaves  it  ).

 ⠀ ⠀ ﹟𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐧.⠀ ⠀ in  general,  is  a  hater,  but  is  so  STRESSED  from  having  a  #missing  father  that  she’s  just  like  :|  in  every  situation.  i  wouldn’t  call  her  awkward  per  se,  but  she  definitely  just  says  what  she  wants  when  she  wants  cause  there’s  “no  point  in  quieting  myself  for  someone’s  comfort”  idk?

⠀ ⠀ ﹟𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐧.⠀ ⠀ in  MY  canon,  hestia  actually  conjures  up  a  fox  patronus,  but  it’s  non  corporeal  for  now  simply  because  she  literally  cannot  focus  long  enough  to  cast  the  charm  correctly  –  in  fact,  a  lot  of  her  magic  has  been  suffering  for  the  past  few  years  due  to  her  stress,  something  that  really  only  stresses  her  out  more  rip  in  pieces.

⠀ ﹟𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝  𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬

academic  rival:   personally,  i’d  love  for  someone  who’s  just  naturally  good  at  academia  to  be  her  rival,  like  the  person  who  doesn’t  study  and  “doesn’t  care”  but  always  just  manages  to  beat  her  in  scores;  yeah,  i  think  that’d  be  fun  to  watch  her  spontaneously  combust.

significant  annoyance:  someone  who  really  just  is  the  person  to  tell  hestia  she’s  wound  up  too  tight  all  the  time  and  tries  to  get  her  to  live  her  life,  but  she  just  sees  them  as  someone  who’s  ANNOYING  HER  because  maybe  her  entire  life  is  being  uptight,  ever  think  of  that?  rabastan

quidditch  rival:  because  quidditch  is  really  the  only  time  she  lets  her  hair  down  per  se,  this  rivalry  is  more  friendly  than  it  is  serious like  the  academic  rival,  but  there’s  still  a  lot  of  trash  talk  involved  and  meet  ups  in  the  corridors  to  talk  shit  <3

best  friend:  the  one  person  who  she’s  like  .  .  .  super  grateful  for  because  they’re  always  there,  no  matter  what  she  goes  through  or  does  to  them  through  her  stress  induced  breakdowns.  you  know.  they’re  bffs  and  always  eat  together  and  spend  time  together  n  gossip  together.  eloise

tutee:  someone  that  either  hestia’s  offered  to  help  or  has  been  forced  to  help,  either  way,  she’s  as  strict  as  any  professor  and  takes  her  job  completely  seriously.  as  in,  will  approach  them  in  the  great  hall  and  ask  if  they’ve  done  the  work  they’re  supposed  to  do.

stress  reliever:  imagine  this  -  hestia  comes  up  to  your  muse  and  is  like  we  need  to  talk,  but  they  just  find  a  nice  seat  underneath  one  of  the  archways  and  talk  into  the  night,  they  make  hestia  laugh,  hestia  makes  them  laugh,  they  have  flushed  cheeks  by  the  end  of  it  and  she  doesn’t  speak  to  them  otherwise.  xenophilius 

their  biggest  anti:  ur  muse’s  #1  hater???  hestia  jones  <3  why?  probably  because  they’re  better  than  she  is  and  she’s  a  nightmare  of  a  person  so  it’s  just  her  being  their  biggest  anti,  probably  runs  a  hate  account  dedicated  toward  them  tbh  <3  rodolphus

The  Ex:  you  know.  the  ex.  didn’t  end  the  way  they  wanted  it  to  so  there’s  A  Lot  There.  longing  glances,  awkward  bumps,  lots  of  what-ifs  .  .  .  a  lot  of  sad  headcanons,  a  lot  of  wholesome  headcanons.  yeah

like  family:  just  someone  who  hestia  is  so  comfortable  with  that  it  feels  like  they’re  family.  and  by  family,  i  mean  like  the  kind  to  tackle  her  on  sight  just  for  fun,  the  sort  to  tease  her  and  make  everyone  believe  it’s  her  birthday.  you  know?

Some of my story ideas, there's a lot here, but if you read let me know which ones you like/dislike, what ones you would or wouldn't read, feel free to leave comments or suggestions, and just give me your opinions 😊 So without further ado, some story ideas I had (some are still being workshopped, if you have ideas for those just let me know ❤)

Don't shed light on it!/ The scales aren't in my favor;

Avery is shedding and is embarrassed, making an attempt to hide it, especially from her friends... She's the only reptile amongst her friends and is worried that she'll be seen as weird and gross if they see her skin falling off.

A "little," cold?/ Emma and the giant cold;

Emma catches a small cold, and after falling asleep at school (and partially on the building), she's sent home, so Avery brings her her homework, and ends up volunteering to hang out with her and help her out with stuff until she feels better, which is a lot harder than Avery initially thought, because Emma's house is difficult for her to navigate without Emma... But she really wants to help so tries to get around without her, hiding the difficulty she's having

Big fear/ A crushed dream;

Emma has a nightmare in which she hurts her small friends accidentally, and can't stop thinking about it the next morning. She begins avoiding them in fear that she'll do something terrible, she stops talking to them at school, and eventually stops showing up to school at all. Avery goes to her house to confront her on it, which only makes things worse...

Cat fight/ Sibling rivalry;

Andy and Andie are fighting, more than usual, and decide that just because they're siblings doesnt mean they have to be friends, and end up spending some time apart.

Mixed Results/ Goin' through the potions;

When stocking the shelves in the shop, Avery accidently knocks over several potions, ensuing chaos when the effects of each vial takes place at the same time.

Slumber party / Girls night;

Ave & friends girls night! Followed by a camp out slumber party

Love Bug/ A push in the right direction?;

Emma and Avery's friends work together to put the two through various scenarios in an attempt to make them finally become a couple, believing they need a push to make it happen. When all else fails, Andy foolishly uses a love bug to get the two to confess their love, as messed up as that is, it gets even worse once he loses the bug.

Big problem/Little problem;

Emma gets frustrated at being so big, and wants to be shrunken down, just for a little while. She asks Avery for a potion, but Avery refuses to give her one, causing a fight between the two, it escalates to the point where Emma steals a potion from Avery, that she doesn't know how to use, causing a little problem...

No title/ Lost title;

The gang faces off against a herd of memory trolls in the woods, but they don't remember that. They wake up in the middle of the woods with most of their memories gone, they struggle to get along and struggle to find their way back home, it's a strange journey back to Tradeskeep

Smitten kitten / Head over heels;

Andie and Sofia have a crush on the same guy and have a small fight over him, Sofia usually never speaks up about things like this, and it makes Andie mad that this is when she tries to take a stand, she's not giving up on getting this guy. Sofia gets scared and backs off, so the fight kinda ends up being one sided. Andie ends up being mean to Sofia over it, and doesn't realize how mean she's being until she does something stupid and petty she regrets

Avery meets Emma/ Emma meets a bean;

Kid Avery attempts to make friends with a nervous giant, but the young giant, Amelia, has never been around someone smaller than her before and doesn't know what to do

Oh Deer/ Magical mishap;

Clementine has been studying magic, and attempts to do a few advanced spells, all of which go horribly awry

The centaur of attention / Marely passing through;

A young centaur adventurer is passing through Tradeskeep, and during her stay she encounters a group of girls around her age, though she's a bit hesitant at first, she ends up quickly befriending them. She stays around for a couple days before she moves on, but she keeps the stop and her new friends in mind, visiting every now and again.

Dreaming/ Awaken;

Something happens to the small town of Tradeskeep, causing its people to fall asleep, all of them. People in the market, the tavern, their homes, the school- they're all asleep. Adventurers heroes and travellers passing through attempt to investigate the small town, soon becoming drowsy, they must investigate from the outside. While others search for a cause and a cure, the people of Tradeskeep dream of altered realities and terrible nightmares.

The big date/ The insecure dragon;

Avery and Emma have a date at a giant restaurant, and shortly after they arrive, something happens that causes Avery to ask Emma to take her home. Emma attempts to talk to her, but it only makes things worse... A few days later they're able to talk it out, and try it again, with it going much better the second time.

Evil Avery/ Dragonic Dopple ganger;

Avery means to take a Duplicate potion to allow her to be in more than one place at the same time, but gets mixed up and instead uses a Doppio potion. This causes her to be split into two versions of herself, a neutral good version, and a chaotic evil version. One Avery keeps running off to help people, while the other keeps running off to hurt people.  Unable to tell them apart, people are confused as Avery comes over and causes a problem, then runs back in and fixes it. The two need to be together to be able to reverse the potions affects, but getting the two together and keeping them around long enough to undo it is much easier said than done.

Snow way to the dragonlands/ Snow way home;

During the holiday season, Avery is eager to go to the dragonlands and participate in the Fire Festival, but due to heavy snowfall surrounding Tradeskeep, travel is nearly impossible. This makes Avery incredibly upset. That night as she packs a bag, steals several potions from the shop, and leaves to go to the dragonlands. Her parents go to check on her, and when seeing that she was gone began to panic and call around, trying to figure out where she could've possibly gone. Upon receiving the phone calls, people began to go out and look for her. It begins to snow again, meanwhile Avery isn't doing as well as she thought she would, she's cold, tired and hungry, and soon she's lost. Everywhere she looks is just blankets of snow, and new snow fall quickly covers her tracks. There's no way home now, and it's getting colder.

Avery, Andy, & Drew;

Avery Andy & Andie have basically known each other since birth, this story basically explains how they grew up together, and how they've changed over the course of time. Andy goes from awkwardly trying to be extroverted and cool to being comfortable with being a quiet nerdy introvert, Drew becomes her true self, Andie, and Avery, well, Avery never really changes. The three of them have been through a lot together, and this slice of life side story just tells some of those tails~

Water you?/ Wets be friends!;

Young Andie, Andy, Avery & Emma meet a young Pond, they're immediately intrigued by her, and well, as little kids, it's sorta easy to become best friends quickly

A new friend/ Hi deery;

Clementine's new to Tradeskeep, but makes friends with a group of other kids

Pink with Envy/ Not berry subtle;

Audrey starts flirting with Emma, and, uh, Emma doesn't seem to be arguing it... Avery tries to brush it off, Audrey sorta just has a flirtatious personality and Emma's really nice... But literally everyone who sees them talking thinks they're hitting on each other, making Avery's anxiety worse about it. She's really worried about Emma seeing how much better Audrey is, and she starts to become genuinely concerned that Emma is losing interest in her... She tries to keep her jealousy and insecurity in check, but Emma can tell somethings up. When they talk about it, something happens that shows Emma how Avery really feels, and Emma tells her that she feels the same way, so though Avery is still mildly annoyed by Audrey, she's not really worried about Emma breaking up with her or leaving her for some one else anymore. After what happened, she realizes how silly she's been.

Blank space/ Making my mark;

Ty wants to get his mark, and Avery tries to help him, but to no avail. They spend the whole day trying different things to try to get his mark to appear, trying out different hobbies and activities, there was bound to be something that he likes, and Avery intends to help him find that passion, but she gets a bit over involved and starts trying to push him, to help of course.

The egg/ Whatever it takes;

Avery finds an abandoned egg, and, sorta projecting onto it, is determined to reunite it with its parents no matter what it takes, cause no one should ever be abandoned like that. Her friends are understanding to her need to take care of it, they're quickly able to put together why she has to do this, and help her out with finding the parents, which proves to be sorta difficult... But eventually they find the parents, and everything's alright again.

Kalvins wish/ You remind me of the babe;

Kalvin is upset by how fast Avery's growing up... If only she could be a little kid, just for a little longer... But he never expected it to actually happen. Avery begins to age backwards, slowly losing her memory as she regresses. It's a race against time as her parents rush to figure out how this happened and how to fix it. They try to keep it quiet at first, but end up having to call in reinforcements to get this fixed as quickly as possible.

A head in life/ Do you need a dullahand?;

Frustrated, Sofia shares some of her struggles as a dullahan, which Avery mistakes as an ask for help. She attempts to find ways to help Sofia out, but Sofia just sees it as Avery treating her really weird. Sofia gets mad at Avery, and the draconic thinks that she's not helping enough, so this goes on for a while until Sofia gets really mad, and Avery realizes that she was just venting, and didn't actually need anything. In the end they just sorta laugh about the misunderstanding and become closer because of it. At least now Sofia knows she can a ask Avery for help when and if she needs it.

Swap meet/ The perfect present;

Clementine finds a magical artifact at a swap meet, but they won't take her money, they want a different item, so Clementine runs around swapping items to try to get the item she wants. Meanwhile, Andy and Andie go around the swap trying to find the perfect birthday present for the other.

Andy's birthday / Andie's birthday;

The kittwins are celebrating their 17th birthday! They celebrate with a get together outside the tavern, with their parents and their closest friends. They spend the afternoon getting presents from their loved ones and eating cake and ice cream.

Sapphire & Kalvin / The pirate and the mercenaries;

Mercenaries Micheal and Kalvin are in search of treasure they were hired to find. However, they weren't alone, as pirates came to find the same thing. The treasure was in a booby trapped dungeon with a multitude of traps and dangerous wildlife, but the mercenaries were ready for anything, unfortunately, one of the pirates weren't. A member of the crew, a fairy, got captured in a carnivorous plant with no chance of an escape. While Michael went after the treasure, Kalvin saved the fairy. This fairy was named Sapphire, and after Kalvin saved her life, she decided to join them and became their partner in hired crime. Later on though, Sapphire and Kalvin became actual partners, and they'd go on to retire and open a potion shop in the small town of Tradeskeep. Michael would meet them again later on after he retired.

Dulladad/ A whole new life a-head of me;

A retired mercenary, Michael, meets a young dullahan girl on his way to his new home, and instantly falls in love, wanting nothing more than for her to be loved and protected. After learning she's an orphan, he feels that Fate has planned this and he takes her in. The two journey to Tradeskeep together, and the man adjusts to his new life in a small town as a black smith and a father, and neither was as easy as he thought it'd be. And although Sofia is happy and excited, she's also sorta scared. She's overwhelmed by the amount of changes happening so quickly, and struggles to adjust. Things are made easier though when Michael meets up with some old friends, and Sofia makes some new ones.

Ponds problem/ Element-emotion-al;

Ponds parents are having another kid... Yay?... Pond has... Mixed emotions on it... She's not mad at her parents, or against another kid, she just... She'd never considered her parents having more kids, she's been the only child her whole life... Everything's gonna change... Luckily Emma's a big sister, and she gives her some advice.

Rainy day/ Video chat;

Since its pouring in Tradeskeep, schools been cancelled and shops have been closed, so the girls decide to video chat all day to prevent boredom. We get to see more slice of life stuff as they're stuck at home for the day, seeing some of Emma's younger siblings filter in and out and wanting to talk, over hearing parents, chatting while doing chores or studying, stuff like that.

Ponds pal/ Invisibuddy;

Pond becomes quick friends with an invisible named Travis after being paired up with him for a school project. The two begin spending a lot of time together and become close, basically becoming best friends within a month.

Ponds new sibling is here! A water elemental named Brook. Ponds still a little nervous to become a big sister, but instantly falls in love with her.

No one asked this and no one cares, but here’s my personal opinions about every glee ship:

Finchel: they had their cute moments, but in general I really dislike them as couple. They brought the worst out of each other when they were together, Finn made Rachel insecure and was also incredibly possessive of her (not in a cute way) and Rachel pressured Finn too much. She wanted to control him and often tried change him, they’re too different and not compatible. I think Rachel needs someone more simalar to her or someone who can understand her, because Finn really didn’t get Rachel.

Klaine: I’m neutral about klaine, I don’t hate them, but simply I’m not invested into this ship. They aren’t toxic, but I think their relationship has many issues and is a little unhealthy sometimes.They had a good start, but as the show went on they got worse. I love Blaine, he’s my gay son, but he was too jealous and controlling about Kurt. Kudos for the gay representation, i acknowledge their huge impact on the lgbt community

Brittana: wow what can I say about them ? They’re everything, best friends to lovers excellence. Brittana had a rough start, but their dynamic became a beautiful and mature relationship in which they always supported and loved each other. Even when they dated other people, Santana and Brittany respected each other. It had and still has a huge importance for the sapphic community, it is good representation and one of the first big teen wlw couples. Brittana are the definition of soulmates

Quick: absolute trash, Puck got Quinn drunk on wine coolers and then had sex with her while she was still drunk. There was nothing consensual about that. The fact that rib never acknowledged this is disgusting. They had very little interactions, their relationship was not developed. Puck and Quinn have literally nothing in common, they’re not compatible in any way and them getting together at the end always irked me because in s3 Quinn said she didn’t care about all the boys she dated in the past. If you ship them idc it’s fine, but I hate this pairing. It’s a huge no from me, I think Puck liked Quinn only because she was hot.

Faberry: THEY’RE MY RIDE OR DIE YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND HOW IMPORTANT THEY ARE TO ME. Enemies to lovers excellence, I know faberry was queerbaiting, but I still ship them after all these years. They have chemistry, lots of yearning and sexual tension, impossibly high angst level. This is the only pairing in which I will accept the trope “homophobic jock falls in love with the person they bully”. At first they were terrible to each other, but they managed to built a nice relationship and I seriously think Rachel was the only one for Quinn because she was the only person who always showed Quinn love and support even when they were enemies. I also think that Rachel felt something more than platonic for Quinn at some point (always ranting about how beautiful Quinn is ? That’s gay)

St berry: I like them, I know they had little screen time and they weren’t even supposed to be a thing according to rib (bc they planned on making finchel endgame), but I think they’re compatible, Jesse is probably the only person who could keep up with Rachel. They have many things in common and even though he was shitty to her at first, he redeemed himself. Rachel and Jesse have good romantic chemistry and excellent musical chemistry, their duets are amazing. I’m happy they got together in the end.

Pezberry: oh boy they’re so hot together, lots of sexual chemistry, they could have been enemies to friends to lovers excellence or at least friends with benefits, but ryan murphy is a coward. I enjoy their scenes, they’re hilarious together and always make me laugh. I think they’re a pretty explosive duo, pezberry has great musical chemistry, all their duets are iconic and there’s a lot of sexual tension between them, they’re definitely compatible in bed but idk if they would last in a long term relationship.

Quinntana: this pairing was very random in my opinion because Quinn and Santana lowkey hated each other and always wanted to destroy each other, BUT they are very hot together, they’re probably the most gorgeous couple on glee because both dianna and naya are insanely attractive. Quinntana gave me my sapphic!quinn rights and I’ll be forever thankful about that, they’re compatible in bed, but I like them only as friends with benefits. I don’t see any romantic chemistry between them, mostly because they were always competing about who was the hbic of the school. I don’t think they would last as a stable couple. I wanted to see more of quinntana though.

Fabrevans: if Quinn had to end up with a man, the only heterosexual Quinn ship I tolerate is fabrevans because Sam was really kind, sweet and good to her. Sadly she wasn’t very interested in him, he was just the hot new guy soon to become quarterback and I think she dated him for popularity. I don’t think they would have lasted in a long term relationship, they were cute together romantically speaking but I don’t ship them.

Samcedes: should have been endgame, definition of wasted potential

Tike: should have been endgame, even though I don’t care about Mike and Tina they were really good together, the love was genuine. Tike is one of the few heterosexual couple I don’t mind

Artittany: is a huge no from me, they had zero chemistry and he treated her like trash, artie deserved to be cheated on lol (I’m joking no one deserves that but I really don’t like artie because he’s sexist, misogynistic and he also treated all his gfs like crap)

Seblaine: I honestly don’t see it, Sebastian was definitely interested in Blaine, but Blaine always only had eyes for Kurt. Still I think they should have dated in s6, it would have been fun to see Kurt jealous about his nemesis dating his ex bf. I like the idea of Seblaine having a one night stand, but I don’t ship them as a couple. I also don’t like Sebastian very much, sorry.

Fuinn: A HUGE NO, they were aesthetically pleasing together, but that’s it. They didn’t have sexual tension, they just had tension. Fuinn is a little dysfunctional in my opinion, they get together, they break up and then start dating again just like finchel. I honestly don’t think they were in love, but they cared about each other in a platonic way. Finn wasn’t a good boyfriend to Quinn and Quinn constantly manipulated him. I don’t like them as a couple, they’re too messy.

Blam: best friends to lovers excellence, lots of wasted potential. I’m not saying they should have been endgame, but Sam and Blaine should have dated. I like the idea of Sam discovering he’s bi or pan and exploring his sexuality with someone who cares about him. They have chemistry and I like their dynamic. I also fancy their duets and I think they could have fallen in love with each other.

Hevans: ok if I squint I can see it, they had potential, Kurt was definitely attracted to Sam and Sam was kind of curious about him, I’m sure he admires Kurt and cares about him, but I don’t ship them together

Sebtana, Finntana, Pucktana: ABSOLUTE TRASH DON’T SHIP CANON LESBIAN CHARACTERS WITH MEN, IT’S INCREDIBLY HARMFUL AND INVALIDATING. There are so many heterosexual ships, why do you have to take away from the gays the few lgbt characters we have ?

Quinncedes: i don’t ship them romantically, but I ship them as best friends. I wished their friendship was more developed, Quinn and Mercedes were so good to each other.

Quinntina: have they even interacted with each other ? (Lmao I’m joking again don’t get pressed, you can ship what you what). I don’t ship it, they’re cute and I lowkey like Tina, but it’s not my cup of tea. Still it’s a wlw ship, so I don’t have anything against it.

Wemma: no

Artie x Tina: I don’t even know their ship name, imagine how much irrelevant they are to me. Again I don’t like how artie treats women, I don’t ship them and Tina deserves better than him.

Samchel: underrated af, i’m not saying they should have been endgame because they wouldn’t have lasted in a long term relationship, BUT they were cute together. Sam was really good for Rachel, he made her more humble and helped her to heal after Finn died. They deserved more development and had a lot of potential. I don’t remember what happened in s6, but I liked samchel dating, I don’t mind them as a romantic couple, even though they’re not very compatible.

Brochel: it was not as bad as rib tried to make us believe. I don’t ship them but they have sexual/romantic chemistry and also musical chemistry. I’m neutral about Brody and Rachel, he was hot, but he was also incredibly boring and one dimensional

Julyberry: the sexual tension between them is so high, i loved it when they did all that jazz, I think they should have been fuck buddies or had a one night stand. Lots of sexual and musical chemistry, i lowkey ship them bc milf!kate hudson rights. Maybe after Rachel graduates at nyda, they could date

Luther:

Gym leader: Luther is, of course, the fighting gym leader. He views strength as being essential to any pokemon team. He goes through a journey of self discovery where he has to unlearn all the toxic ideas that Reginald implanted regarding viewing pokemon solely as tools, but after that his bond with his team is very close and he ends up in a better place for it. His fighting style is very straightforward. He tends not to use many status moves and focuses on taking down his opponents hard and fast, which can make him a tricky opponent for beginning trainers. 

Gym team:

➤ Gallade: Gallade is a very important pokemon of Luther’s because it’s siblings with Allison’s Gardevoir from back in the day when they were very close and decided to hatch some Ralts eggs together. Luther and Gallade grew up together, and Gallade considers Luther a bit like an idiot kid brother. Before Luther’s journey of self discovery, Gallade often disobeyed and frustrated Luther. After, they repaired their relationship and are closer than ever.

➤ Primeape: Honestly this is just a pokemon reference to Luther being half ape so that’s a thing. Primeape is a passionate fighter and gets angry when Luther doesn’t use them in battle, so they’re often the first pokemon that Luther throws out in a match so he can avoid getting yelled at later.

➤ Passimian: I am very lucky as to have multiple monkey themed fighting pokemon so I can make this a joke reference again thank you ladies and gents I will be here all week. Luther’s Passimian is somewhat lazy in that it prefers not to battle when they don’t have to. Primeape and Passimian can’t be out together at the same time because they are mortal enemies.

➤ Machoke: every good fighting gym has to have one of the macho evolutions, sorry I don’t make the rules. Not a machamp because Luther doesn’t trade pokemon with other people because he’s a Lonely Loner. Machoke and Luther are lifting bros, Machoke is out of his pokeball a lot because of this and also likes to help out around the gym.

➤ Bewear: because Luther is a bigass dude and Bewear is a bigass dude and I feel like they could bond over this fact. Also Luther could probably endure Bewear hugs and I feel like he deserves hugs and affection every once in a while, bless.

➤ Pangoro: A gift pokemon from Klaus! Because Klaus is the most gift-y of the siblings let’s be real. Luther raised it from a baby Pancham after Klaus just left the egg in his gym with a jaunty wave and salute. Klaus insists on having ‘visitation rights’ that he uses as an excuse to ambush Luther in his gym for Forced Family Bonding Time after they all vow to try and do better.

Diego:

Gym leader: Diego would be the steel gym leader! Because of course, sharp and pointy is very important. That, and he insists that all his pokemon have to be as tough as him if they want to be on his team. On the inside though, Diego is squishy soft and loves his team so much. He tends to sneak them lots of treats and is a bit of a pushover when it comes to them begging. If you want Diego to do something, win his pokemon over first. His strategy is either more roundabout or as straightforward as Luther’s, depending on when you catch him and how recently his siblings have pissed him off.

Gym team:

➤ Bisharp: raised from a Pawniard, Diego took one look at its sharp little knife hands and immediately fell head over heels in love. Still insists that Bisharp is the “coolest pokemon ever” and 10/10 would murder anyone who insults steel pokemon. Bisharp is just as intense as Diego and has a soft spot for Klaus, who sneaks them extra treats.

➤ Scizor: Diego really saw a bug pokemon in a shiny steel coat of armor and went “that one. that is the one for me.” and it was that simple. Scizor and Bisharp are good friends but Scizor is the one with a sense of self preservation who tries to stop her idiot trainer from implementing his more stupid ideas.

➤ Aggron: Aggron was raised from an Aron and has yet to grasp that evolution equals a big size difference. They still think they are tiny and want very much to curl up on Diego’s lap. Diego, the softie, allows this even though is genuinely murders his legs.

➤ Lucario: Diego still insists that fighting pokemon are stupid but has quieted down on that front a lot since he got Lucario. He still insists that Lucario is mainly a steel pokemon shut up and refuses to use fighting moves, which Lucario grudgingly accepts (but rolls their eyes real hard over it)

➤ Doublade: why have ONE knife when you can have TWO? or well, sword that is. Ben gave Diego doublade for a birthday and Diego actually cried he was so happy about it. Doublade likes to be out of their pokeball and appear from nowhere, freaking people out. They also like pets very much which Diego is happy to supply.

➤ Durant: Durant is more of? A pest? Than an actual pokemon that Diego uses? Diego’s Durant is out of its pokeball a lot and it likes to wander the premises biting people’s ankles with its pincer-like jaws. Diego finds this hilarious and tells everyone that they need constant vigilance. No one else is amused by this.

Allison:

Gym leader: Allison is the psychic gym leader! A mantle she actually briefly retired from but has taken up again. She tends to be one of the trickiest gym leaders in terms of actually even getting to her and she has lots of puzzles and traps hidden within her gym. She plays to her strengths and has a lot of tricks up her sleeves when it comes to battling - however there are times when she’s out of sync with her pokemon and it shows. Change is slow to come to her, but she’s trying very hard.

Gym team:

➤ Gardevoir: Allison raised her Gardevoir from a Ralts with Luther, who has Gardevoir’s twin, Gallade, on his team. Gardevoir is a proud pokemon who dislikes battling weak pokemon, and is usually the last pokemon that Allison uses in a battle because of this. 

➤ Hatterene: Allison’s Hatterene hates everybody except maybe Allison, sometimes. When Allison is feeling emotional, Hatterene and her are very out of sync vs. when Allison is feeling calmer and more sure of herself. This discord only came about after the family decided to Actually Try and so Hatterene dislikes most of the other Hargreeves. Allison keeps them in their pokeball most of the time.

➤ Meowstic: Allison’s meowstic is very protective of her and is very competitive in battle. They hate to lose because they feel like they’re disappointing Allison in some way, even though Allison’s love does not depend on their winning ability. Somewhat insecure, Allison tends to sneak them berries on the down low.

➤ Espeon: Espeon would like very much to be seen as regal and graceful and untouchable and would totally pull it off if Allison didn’t scratch their chin in a way that makes them melt and then rub their belly for all the world to see.

➤ Galarian Rapidash: Absolutely has to have their mane brushed every day or they WILL die. Insists on Allison riding on their back everywhere and has memorized the route to every gym. Sometimes Allison will just hop on her rapidash’s back and let them take her wherever.

➤ Indeedee: A psychic/normal pokemon that Allison added to her team after mission FTFF (fix this fucking family) was a go. She got her indeedee to feel closer to Vanya and often has this pokemon out. She finds Indeedee soothing to talk to and a good listener.

Klaus:

Gym leader: While saying ghost would be easy pickings, Klaus is actually the dark gym leader. With his intense fear of ghosts (though surprisingly this does not apply to Ben) it shouldn’t be a shock that he surrounds himself with pokemon who can protect him from his fear. Klaus is tricky to face is battle purely because he’s so unpredictable - you never know what his next move will be or what strategy he will use. He does have a tendency to shirk responsibility and go wandering though, and many trainers need to hunt him down to claim their battle with him.

Gym team:

➤ Galarian Linoone: Klaus found a Galarian zigzagoon in a trash can once and since that day that have been inseparable. What was Klaus doing in a trash can you might ask? He changes the story every time, so no one can ever be sure of the truth. 

➤ Thievul: a pokemon that share’s Klaus’s magpie-esque nature in that it’s an absolute pick pocket. You genuinely have to log all your belongings before you enter Klaus’s gym so that you can be sure to leave with them. Has a longstanding rivalry with Liepard over who can steal the most shit without the trainer noticing.

➤ Liepard: an exceptionally sneaky pokemon that enjoys spooking people and stealing things. Very adept at the smash and grab as well. Liepard is more territorial than Thievul and takes more convincing to give up their hard earned loot, especially since Klaus is often laughing way too hard to be too insistent on giving it it back.

➤ Umbreon: A persnickety little shit, Klaus’s umbreon is fussy and dramatic and demands attention at All Times. Possibly related to Allison’s Espeon, though Espeon would never admit it. Umbreon often knocks things over for attention and has a loud cry that echoes and isn’t afraid to use it.

➤ Mightyena: The only level-headed one out of all of Klaus’s pokemon who is also an adult. Has absolutely given up on keeping anyone in line, especially Liepard and Thievul. Has been known to sit on Umbreon when they’re crying too loudly. Probably the most reliable and dependable of Klaus’s pokemon and knows it. The closest of Klaus’s pokemon with Ben - they share a certain sort of kinship over the levels of Klaus bullshit they deal with on a daily basis. 

➤ Pawniard: The child of Diego’s bisharp that was a gift from the pokemon itself due to its large soft spot for Klaus (partially due to Klaus’s reliability when it comes to treats, partly because Diego often even likes having Klaus over though he won’t admit it). Klaus dotes on the little Pawniard and often enthusiastically visits Diego’s gym with it so it can visit with its parent as well while Klaus coos over the cuteness in the background and Diego refuses to comment.

Five:

Gym leader: Five is the dragon gym leader! Dragon type pokemon are notorious for being slow to evolve, staying in their comparatively weaker unevolved forms for much longer than any other type. This vibes with Five being the ‘youngest’ of the seven and slowest to grow up. Five is a tough nut to crack and is very strategic in his battles, adapting to whatever his opponents do. People often complain he seems to be five steps ahead of them. He commands complete respect from his pokemon team, and even though he pretends he doesn’t have feelings he’s secretly as protective of them as they are of him.

Gym team:

➤ Dragapult/Dreepy: Five has a Dragapult which sounds fine and dandy except he also has a corresponding army of Dreepy that aren’t actually a part of his team that keep? Showing up? Five isn’t sure if they’re his Dragapult’s kids or if they’re just wild Dreepy or what but they sure do seem to like being shot like missiles so. That’s a thing. When there get to be too many Five rounds up some and dumps them on Ben’s doorstep.

➤ Dratini: Honestly Dratini was an accidental acquisition. They like to drape around Five’s shoulders (and they are large so this is not an easy thing to deal with) and have a mind of their own. They’re very protective of Five, which often leads to Five spitting curses at them because he can protect his damn self but Dratini never seems to care about this. Even though Five always threatens to get rid of them, he’d never actually go through with it.

➤ Zweilous: The two heads constantly bicker unless Five scolds them over it, in which case they tend to act like abashed children. They have a tendency to follow Five around like very large ducklings. Klaus comes over occasionally to gently coo over them while Five bristles and yells at his brother to get out, or to at least use the door.

➤ Flapple: Flapple has a one-sided rivalry with Dratini which Dratini is completely unaware of over Five’s attention and, primarily, his neck. Dratini is really too big to be trying to drape across Five’s shoulder, and Flapple would very much like that real estate thanks. It’s an ongoing battle. 

➤ Fraxure: Five’s Fracture is a somewhat nervous pokemon who likes to hide behind Five a lot. Five raised them from an Axew after they had to be removed from their nest because their playmates were too rough with them. Five is surprisingly good with them, and Fraxure is absolutely loyal to him.

➤ Noivern: Five’s noivern is an absolute asshole who loves Five. Klaus says that it’s one asshole recognizing another, superior asshole. He likes to swoop down and land on Five’s back, bowling him over, and then preens his trainer’s hair lovingly. He’s also inexplicably fond of Vanya and does happy dances whenever she comes around. He attacks pretty much everyone else though, which Five has done nothing to discourage.

Ben:

Gym leader: Growing up, Ben wanted to be the water gym leader but after an unfortunate incident involving the loss of his pokemon at the hands of Reginald, Ben became the ghost gym leader instead. Ben is notoriously tricky to get a hold of and if almost never actually found at his gym, making any trainer who wants to face him have to hunt him down. The first place they check should be Klaus’s gym, which Ben often seems to haunt (ha). He doesn’t particularly like battling and frustrates people by using a lot of moves that ‘protect’ his team, which draws battles out for a long time.

Gym team:

➤ Mimikyu: Ben’s Mimikyu has been with him for a long long time. It’s rumored that Ben has seen what is under Mimikyu’s cloak/costume, though Ben himself has never confirmed nor denied this fact. Ben’s biggest hobby is lovingly making Mimikyu a variety of different costumes. (Klaus has knitted it several hats, which it also appreciates).

➤ Drakloak/Dreepy: Every time too many Dreepy gather in Five’s gym, he drops some off with Ben. Ben’s Drakloak is very enthusiastic about this and dotes on all the little Dreepies running around underfoot. Ben isn’t sure whether to scream or just accept his life. He offers a free Dreepy with every gym badge won just to try and get some of them out of his gym.

➤ Phantump: Ben doesn’t really battle with Phantump, he just carries them around all day in his arms while they nap. They’re a curious little thing and have a habit of getting into places they really shouldn’t be when Ben isn’t keeping an eye on them.

➤ Polteageist: Sinistea’s come into being when a spirit possesses a cold leftover cup of tea. Klaus has a habit of interrupting Ben and dragging him on adventures. Ben is running out of tea cups in his house they are all getting possessed. And also he has a polteageist as well. Which is fine. Everything is fine. 

➤ Gengar: Gengar is a pokemon who is continuously trying to scare Ben and fails miserably because Ben is just that unflappable. He accepted his fate long ago, and if he can suffer through Klaus he can suffer through everything. Gengar is determined to frighten Ben though, and won’t quit trying. 

➤ Chandelure: Chandelure likes to follow Ben around and provide lighting. They have a tendency to just hang themself up in whatever room Ben happens to be occupying and Ben always thanks then because he’s polite like that. Chandelure thrives on their trainer’s thanks, so this works out well for them.

Vanya:

Gym leader: Even though Vanya being the ice or poison leader would be sick, she’s probably the normal gym leader. There are lots of parallels between Vanya having a ‘normal’ team vs. her being considered as ordinary and I feel like it would be cool to see Vanya succeed with ‘ordinary’ pokemon. Plus lets be real normal pokemon can be very versatile with what moves they can learn so Vanya is actually a very strong trainer with very diverse pokemon who can take on anyone who wishes to challenge her. 

Gym team: 

➤ Exploud: raised from a tiny little unassuming Whismur, Exploud is the powerhouse of Vanya’s team. Why are you putting in ear plugs Vanya, you ask? Yeah it’s because she’s about to send in Exploud. Otherwise though they’re frequently out of the pokeball and follow Vanya around. They’re very very loyal. 

➤ Eevee: As a pokemon with possibly the most adaptable DNA, eevee is representative of Vanya’s potential. Eevee refuses to evolve and is happy as an eevee, and Vanya does nothing to discourage this mindset. Her eevee is a stubborn little thing who likes getting their way, and it shows.

➤ Furret: Furret is - enthusiastic is a good word for it. Friendly to the point of concern is another way to put it. For whatever reason it loves Five? Privately Vanya thinks it’s because Five is all skin and bones and childish lankiness that Furret seems to have mistaken for its own child since it likes to curl around him so much though. Vanya is secretly an asshole who likes to see Five sputter and snarl though so it all works out perfectly.

➤ Audino: Audino is Vanya’s chillest pokemon. They just like to hang out and don’t mind any of the others. Like a capybara, no one really bothers Audino and in fact are usually on their best behavior when Audino is around. Unfortunately, Audino dislikes being out of their pokeball for long lengths of time and needs to recharge before seeing more people.

➤ Persian: A proud pokemon, Persian is the most fickle of Vanya’s pokemon. They love to battle and they love to win. Vanya’s relationship with Persian was somewhat fraught back when she was more of a wallflower, but Persian has come to grudgingly respect Vanya and listens to her unfailingly.

➤ Girafarig: Vanya got this pokemon after the family decided to actually make an effort, and so Vanya got a normal/psychic pokemon and Allison got a psychic/normal pokem to represent their new determination to put actual work and effort into their bond. Girafarig is very playful and gets along well with almost everybody.

this is my first post

Hullo. This is my 3rd time rewriting this, because sumthin’ kept fucking up every time I tried to write it. But let’s hope this time goes smoothly cause I got a lot to say. I don’t have anywhere else to put this, so I decided, why not come to Tumblr and see what everyone else thinks. So, let’s get started. I have been a Gleek since I was in 6th grade. And as much as I know that the show is cringey and hard to watch, my sister and I genuinely enjoyed it (although now we mostly watch it ironically). And we always had a favoritism system going, our favorite characters were blatantly obvious, and we were fishing for least favorite characters when we could. So, our lists of favorite characters/ships looked a little something like this: Favorites: -Kurt Hummel -Finn Hudson -Rachel Berry -Santana Lopez -Brittany S Pierce -Blaine Anderson Least favorites: -Quinn Fabray -Noah Puckerman -Terry Schue -Sue Sylvester -Jessie St James -Sebastian Smythe Favorite ships: -Finchel -Klaine -Brittana -Wemma And even though that doesn’t seem like there’s anything wrong with that set up in particular, I’m going to explain to you why my views have changed. Especially on my least favorite characters. And disclaimer!! Any and all of these characters that I list on my least favorites have nothing to do with race, gender, disability, sexuality etc. They are solely based on personality and how their actions affected others. That’s it. That’s what I’m basing it off of. Same goes for my favorite characters as well. And believe me I will give a lengthy explanation for each and every one of them I promise. So I’m going to be listing the least favorites from LEAST bad/toxic to MOST bad/toxic. And don’t be upset if one of your favorites are on here. Just because I don’t like them doesn’t mean you can’t like them. Just make that clear. These are only things that I’ve picked up and I’ve noticed throughout the show and watching back important clips and such from the show. Coming in at #7: Mercedes Jones: I know what’s coming already. And I’m going to have to tell y’all this loud and clear. Mercedes is not a diva. She’s just a bitch. I’ve never liked Mercedes, and not because she was black, but just because she had an awful personality and she was awful to the people around her. I think the only time I really saw her being nice to someone was when she was dating Sam, or when she was dating that football player. And a few times when she was with Kurt. The main problem I have with her is in S1E3: Bust Your Windows, she busted Kurt’s front windshield all because he had a crush on someone else. And I can guarantee you guys this. If a guy did that to a girl, like if Kurt had done that to Mercedes instead, y’all would’ve been outraged. She had no reason to bust his window like that and then get all sassy to him when he got upset about it. Coming in at #6: Santana Lopez: And this is another character that y’all are so set on saying that she’s a diva. But no. Santana is a straight up bitch. And before you guys say “she was closeted/insecure/outed!” etc, Kurt was also insecure and closeted in the first season and he was never rude to anybody in the way Santana was. And secondly, Finn didn’t out her until S3E6: Mash Off, and I can tell you she had been acting like a huge bitch way before then. All I have to do is pull up all of the times she’s been anti-semetic to Rachel, fatphobic to Finn and Lauren, attacked people’s insecurities and was just being god awful. One of my least favorite scenes from her is when she went on that entire rant about why Blaine and Kurt didn’t work out, and she attacked Kurt’s teeth, his sexuality, his dancing, his s3xual appeal, and just about everything Kurt was insecure about. All because he said that he thought Santana and Brittany were too young to get married. And I honestly agreed with him, Britt and San were 19. Definitely too young to get married, and Kurt was just trying to relate his failure with Blaine to warn them that getting married this young wasn’t something that they wanted to do. But no. Santana didn’t listen to him trying to reason with her, she just told him basically “you suck, Blaine really hates you, get your crap together.” And I have always had a problem with it. Not to mention she called Quinn a slut. And no matter what situation you are in, I don’t believe it’s okay to call any girl a slut. Actually, I don’t think it’s okay to call anybody a slut. Because I’m bringing this back. If Finn had called Quinn a slut, you guys would be all over him and cancelling that character so fast, but as soon as Santana says it, it’s okay? That never sat right with me either. And again, the way she relentlessly bullies Rachel for everything she’s insecure about, especially her height and nose is not okay. It doesn’t matter how much you dislike someone. Making fun of her nose to the point where as soon as she breaks it, she’s immediately thinking of getting a nose job. That is not okay. And there’s a speculation that Santana was the one who pushed Rachel over the edge to try and fall into bulimia. And I don’t doubt it. Santana is not a nice person. And her internalised homophobia does not excuse anything that she’s said or done. Not to mention she has Britt wrapped around her finger and she knows that she’ll do anything she asks. Like when Santana was fantasizing about forcing Britt to break up with Artie if she became Prom Queen because it would be “the law of the land” that is absolutely inexcusable. Because we all know Britt is naive and has some sort of DD or autism, and the characters in the show take that and use it to their advantage. Especially Santana. Coming in at #5: Artie Abrams: Now before you come for my ass, let me tell you. I actually used to really like Artie. He was pretty high up on my ranking Glee characters lists that I used to make all the time. But now that I’ve rewatched and I’ve noticed more things, I just cant like him with a good conscience. Remember in season 1 when Tina told him that she doesn’t really have a stutter? Well, if you remember, he broke up with her after that. But if you were closely watching the show, you should’ve realised that Tina has some sort of social anxiety, (not that I’m excusing her faking a disability), but she has a reason for doing it. She (presumably) took up the stutter because she needed a way to avoid having to speak so much in public. Which is totally understandable! Artie didn’t have to break up with her. She confided in him to finally tell him what she had been hiding for so long and he just breaks up with her??? Are you kidding? That just goes to show that one of the only reasons he was dating her was because of her disability. If he broke up with her so fast for not actually having one. Even though she had an actual reason that she did it. Another thing about Artie that I hate is that he called Britt stupid. And that is a huge deal. Everyone in the school calls Britt stupid or something along those lines (even Santana) and as soon as she finds the one guy who doesn’t think that way of her, he breaks her trust. She technically did cheat on him, but as I said earlier, she bends to Santana’s every order and she has some sort of DD or autism and didn’t understand that it was cheating. She even told Artie she didn’t understand it. And instead of sitting her down and explaining to her and giving her a second chance to prove her new knowledge to good use, he just calls her stupid and makes her cry. And then this one is obvious. Artie didn’t fucking wear c0ndoms while he was having s3x with those two girls in New York and didn’t actually tell them he had chlamydia. Which just pissed me off so much it makes me angry just talking about it. Coming in at #4: Finn Hudson: Oh ho ho. Finn Hudson makes me so angry. Let me just start off with everything he did (and didn’t do) to/for Kurt. Starting with the infamous “faggy scene” after Kurt tried to make amends with Finn for all the arguing they had been doing by redecorating their room. As ugly as it looked (lmao), he did his best to try and appeal to what a straight guy would like without making it too masculine so he would feel comfortable sleeping in there too. He tried to appeal to Finn’s interests as well as his own and had to do it all on short notice. But as soon as Finn saw it, the first thing he said was “are you freaking insane?” and Kurt just deflated. If you watch the scene, you can see it. You can physically see Kurt’s hard work all go to waste because of that comment. But then Finn follows it up with saying “I can’t live here, I’m a dude.” That line for me is the one that really made me dislike Finn very very strongly, because he not only said Kurt wasn’t a man to his face, he also views Kurt as nothing but his sexuality. That is further proven when he describes how uncomfortable he is around Kurt just because Kurt has a crush on him. And yes, Kurt was creepy, but after then, when they started living together, he just tried his best to make Finn feel as welcome and as comfortable as he can make him feel. But then sees that everything has been pointless, because Finn makes it a point to tell him that he puts his underwear on in the shower before he comes out when Kurt’s around. And that’s just fucked up. And a lot of people say that Finn “didn’t mean it” when he said the f-slur, but let me tell you something. You don’t just accidentally say something twice out of anger. If you really didn’t mean it, you would apologise right when it left your mouth. But Finn’s lack of an apology only proves that he meant every word of what he said. Next is when Finn refused to help Kurt out with Karofsky. I can only talk briefly about this because it actually makes me so fucking mad I can’t explain it. So, Rachel asks him to help Kurt out and confront Karofsky, right? And Finn refuses. Because, and I quote: “We both know I can help him more if I stay on top.” And I think he even says “Kurt will be fine” too, completely ignoring the fact that Kurt is so terrified to go to school, he’s losing weight (there are speculations that he cuts), but Finn doesn’t care about that. He only cares about the fact that he needs to stay popular. Oh and the fact that Karofsky plays right guard and wont guard him during the football game is he’s pissed and they’ll lose. He picks FOOTBALL and POPULARITY over his soon-to-be stepbrother’s MENTAL/EMOTIONAL/PYSICAL H E A L T H. I cannot explain how angry that makes me. Not to mention, the amounts of times he’s played victim. Especially with Rachel. One time that really pisses me off is when he goes “have you ever thought about what I’m going to do in New York?” and Rachel starts stammering over herself and assuring him that she’ll find something that he fits into since he doesn’t know what he’s going to do with his future. And then he asks her about California and Puck’s pool business. Even though he knows Rachel has been set on New York and NYADA since she was a little girl. He knows that she has all of those ambitions and she has an entire plan in her life and she’s already trying to shift those plans to fit Finn in with her. And for him to tell her that he wants her to give all of that up to come with him and Puck to California is actually more selfish than Rachel is. Oh! And not to mention he outed Santana too. Let’s not forget that. In front of basically the whole damn school too. He also kissed Emma. And he also cheated on Rachel with Quinn. And then actually broke up with Rachel when she made out with Puck a bit because she wanted to get him back for cheating on her and sleeping with Santana (even though it doesn’t excuse what she did at all, I just think Finn was being a hypocrite.) And he also cheated on Quinn with Rachel in the first season, and he led Rachel on for the entire first season, Or most of it at least. Coming in at #3: Mr. Schue: I’m just gonna speed through this: -He was a creep/pedo with both the girls and the boys -He had a savior complex and tried to force Emma’s OCD away and fix it instead of help her -He encouraged Emma’s crush on him even while he was married -He twerked with a bunch of minors -Suspended a minor for not wearing a bra she was uncomfortable in -He dealt really badly with Rachel’s crush on him -Never listened to his students’ input -hallucinated children while he was sick -Was very awkwardly touchy with his students -His best friend was 19 -refused to stop twerking even when offered the exchange for a trans student to use a staff bathroom to avoid getting bullied -overreacted after finding out Terry wasn’t pregnant Now the moments you’ve all been waiting for. Coming in at #2: Noah Puckerman: Now I was stuck on Puck for a while, I didn’t think he really was that bad of a guy for a long time. But just one thing Quinn says was enough to sway me and put him this high on my list. In one of the earlier episodes, Puck starts teasing her and being a dick after finding out she’s pregnant. And so she says: “You got me drunk off of wine coolers and I was feeling fat that day...” Now if you break that sentence down, she literally says “you got me drunk.” implying that Puck himself wasn’t drunk when this all took place. Meaning, Noah Puckerman r@ped Quinn Fabray. She never cheated on Finn. Puck purposely got her drunk just so he could get what he wanted. Especially considering she never put out and she was president of the Celibacy Club. Now must I say anything else? No. I didn’t think so. And finally, coming in at #1: Blaine Anderson: I know Blaine is everyone’s smol bean gay bb boy. (*gag) but I have to tell you that he is not a good person whatsoever. I’ll give him credit though. In the 2nd season he was really sweet and I actually really liked him. But as the seasons progressed, he got worse. In S3E5, Blaine and Kurt go to a gay bar together, and Kurt helps Blaine out after he gets too drunk. Then as soon as he tries to get Blaine in the car, Blaine starts coming onto him and kissing his neck and trying to convince him to have s3x with him, even though Kurt keeps repetitively saying no. And then he plays the victim after Kurt blows up at him and says “well I’m sorry for trying to be spontaneous and fun!” and then proceeds to walk home, getting mad at Kurt for nothing. Then in another episode. I think it was later in season 3, Kurt meets Chandler. And Blaine had been ignoring him for a while before that, so Kurt starts talking to Chandler only because he makes him feel good about himself. And he obviously thought it was okay because Blaine did the same thing with Sebastian but called him all the time and flirted with him and dirty danced with him etc. So when Blaine goes through Kurt’s phone, he finds the messages and makes a huge deal out of it and accuses Kurt of cheating on him. Then publicly humiliates him in front of the Glee club with a song about cheating. And then proceeds to go and cheat on him anyway. And then as soon as they were going to NYADA together, Blaine didn’t like all the attention Kurt was getting after he started to get more fit and more attractive and he was extremely jealous of him and over protective, not letting Kurt have any other male attention. At all. And Blaine is just super stingy with Kurt and doesn’t let him live his life and then pays victim whenever he gets confronted by him. Oh and not to mention he dated the one person that made Kurt’s life a living hell for the longest time and decided to rub it in his face. So there we have it folks. Summary: College AU/Famous!Blaine and Fanboy!Kurt - Kurt POV

Kurt really doesn’t have time to figure out the dating world between being a freshman at prestigious theatre school, LAADA,  and his active but secret blogging life in the Sing!Fandom. So what if Sing! ended last year? There are still fics to read and actors to follow. Especially the uber talented heartthrob lead, Blaine Anderson. He can act. He can sing. He can even dance. He’s gay. He’s out. And he’s only 24. Kurt is willing to twiddle his thumbs and click refresh until Blaine Anderson’s next project.

He just didn’t expect the next project to be on his roommate Rachel’s new TV show.

Even Better than the Real Thing (6/13)

Rachel’s show begins to air in January to mixed reviews but pretty decent ratings overall. Kurt peruses tumblr, confirming his suspicion that Sing! fans are biding their time waiting for Blaine’s first episode to air. They’re all abuzz about whether Colin Red and Rachel Cherry will possibly be able to have half the chemistry of Roy Royson and Ella Belle from Sing!. 

The day finally arrives and while Tumblr is busy with reblogs of episode stills and discussions of Colin Red’s hippie style, Kurt is busy getting ready to go to the episode viewing party at Blaine’s apartment. In fact, he has a pair of new grey jeans picked out for the occasion - truthfully, the jeans were so tight in the store that he almost didn’t buy them, but his ass looked fantastic, and he’s willing to suffer for fashion. He hopes the jeans paired with a warm yellow shirt and blue scarf with his heart shaped brooch, properly convey the ‘I’m hot. So please flirt,’ look, without being desperate.

“Rachel, Kurt, welcome!” Blaine answers the door with his usual warmth and exuberance. “It’s great to see you.” He leads them over to the cocktails table and hands Rachel a white wine spritzer. “And for the gentleman?” 

Kurt rolls his eyes, but smiles. “Red for me, please.”

“Nice outfit, by the way,” Blaine says casually as he pours. “Those jeans-”

“Cute, right?” Kurt is pleased. Blaine noticed.

“Yeah,” Blaine nods. “Dirty cute.” Blaine grabs his eye contact for one second and then he’s turned around, chattering on about how nice it is that so many people could come and setting up the TV before the episode starts.  It’s so casual, blink and you miss it, that Kurt wonders if he’s imagining it.  Or Blaine is such a natural flirt that he doesn’t bat an eye. It does make Kurt feel good, though. Blaine noticed and it is dirty cute - the jeans are practically painted on.

“Gather round, everyone. Take a seat. Episode is about to start.” Rachel takes a chair in the centre of things, Blaine sits down in a corner of the couch, and Kurt is about to sit on the floor by Rachel. “Come sit here, Kurt.” Blaine motions at the couch seat beside him. This time he is sure he isn’t imagining it. And there are witnesses. Blaine’s not blushing or awkward. He just asked. Right out in the open. He hopes Rachel didn’t notice. But he nods and steps over the coffee table to sit beside Blaine.

Kurt is genuinely not sure how he’s supposed to properly pay attention to the show, to Colin Red, when the real Blaine Anderson’s arm is pressed up against his, then his leg. It’s like his right side is the north side a magnet and Blaine’s left side the south. They didn’t start out touching but they are now. And neither of them are moving. Blaine, though, is thoroughly into the episode. Laughing at the right moments, enjoying Rachel Cherry’s diva-ish ways. How is he so calm?

“Oh here it comes!” Rachel claps her hands. It’s the kiss. Colin Red so mesmerized by Rachel’s powerful ballad (she can really sing) that he swoops in to kiss her in a moment of weakness. The crowd around him all cheer and laugh. “You are a good kisser,” Rachel says, turning around to Blaine and laughing.

“And a good actor,” Blaine chimes in.

“No one is going to forget you’re gay and ruin your real life prospects, Blaine. don’t worry,” Sarah says, shaking her head at him.

Kurt feels Blaine’s leg push gently into his. No. No one is going to forget.

When Kurt gets home, he’s too curious not to peruse tumblr. He’s got to see how his fandom responded to Blaine’s new hippie-cute romantic role. Though he shouldn’t be surprised, it’s all about the “CherryRed” chemistry - the new portmanteau in full swing, gifs of the passionate kiss from every angle galore, and detailed analyses of where the plot is going to go. And of course, the usual trolls pop up.

Did you see that kiss? Chemistry on fire. I’m sure there was tongue. That can’t be faked. Blaine has got to stop queerbaiting. He likes girls.

I don’t know if Blaine is bisexual or straight but he is not gay. No way a gay guy can kiss a girl like that.

Maybe he thought he was gay and he’s just trying things out now. Maybe he didn’t know how hot it would be with Rachel.

Yeah, because all it takes is one passionate kiss with a cute girl to turn every gay boy straight. Kurt really doesn’t love the old school homophobic tropes. He has always disliked the conspiracy theorists picking apart Blaine’s sexuality - Blaine has been clear enough. He also never understood why they never seem to understand that acting is acting. He knows it’s best to ignore them, that they’re more interested in their own drama than in seeing reality for what it is, but tonight, Kurt wants to bite back. He tells himself that he’s zealously defending an out gay celebrity and his right to define himself. It’s not personal, it’s political. Though he hasn’t posted in weeks, he clicks on his blog - 

I’m coming out of my blogging hiatus to quickly address the trolls out there. Blaine is not straight. Blaine is not bisexual and he is not in love with Rachel Berry. Blaine is gay. Actually listen to the words that come out of his mouth and celebrate our out gay celebrities. Be good, all, and enjoy the show.

He closes his computer, still riled up from the drama, when his phone buzzes with a text from Mercedes.

Mercedes: Saw your post.

Kurt: I’m not starting to blog again or anything. 

Mercedes: Well, that’s good because I’d like to remind you that you are legit friends with this guy. Leaving was the best thing you could do.

Kurt: I know. I just had to say something to those trolls.

Mercedes: Whatever you say. But why do you care anyways? Spoiler alert, Kurt, Blaine doesn’t care. And he likes you.

No he doesn’t. They’re friends. They flirt. Blaine’s a famous actor. Blaine’s 24. Kurt is a 19 year old freshman from Lima. It’s really nothing. Kurt’s lucky to even know Blaine this well. He is definitely just content to be a part of Blaine’s LA scenery.

“If you must refer to me at all, Inquisitor will do just fine.”

She pauses, and seems to begrudgingly consider something for a moment. She then sighs.

“Apologies. My name is Ashara. Ashara Dhavise of clan Lavellan.”

2. Do you know why are you named that?

“Dhavise, roughly translated, means ‘kissed by fire'. A name my immediate family chose, due to a shared affinity for fire magic. As for my first name, Ashara typically means ‘woman on a journey'. Perhaps my parents had some insight that we all lacked.”

She smiles mirthlessly.

“A pity we can't ask them.”

3. Are you single or taken?

She blinks for a moment, before clearing her throat quietly.

“Next question.”

4. Have any abilities or powers?

“Are you inquiring about my abilities, or the Anchor’s?”

She observes her right hand absently.

“I am a mage – fire elementalist, simple as that. As for the Anchor – well. From what I've discovered, actively it’s only able to close and open rifts. It's also slightly enhanced my skills in spirit magic and my sub conscious connection to the Fade, but I'm not able to perform miracles, if that's what you're asking.”

5. Stop being a Mary Sue.

She stares.

“Am I supposed to know what that is?”

6. What’s your eye color?

“Blue.”

7. How about your hair color?

She sighs. “Black.”

8. Have any family members?

She tenses ever so slightly, but clenches her jaw and recovers smoothly.

“Define ‘having'. Actually, don't. Next question.”

9. Oh? How about pets?

“Animals seem utterly uninterested in me for the most part, so no, I don't. My clan kept halla in the Free Marches, though, if that counts.”

10. That’s cool, I guess. Now tell me something you don’t like?

“This conversation?”

Somewhere out of view, Josephine clears her throat, and Ashara sighs.

“I dislike wilful ignorance – people who have the capacity to know better but chose not to. And I detest liars. Believe what you will about me, but I don't lie. Next question.”

11. Do you have any activities/hobbies that you like to do?

She smiles. Small, but genuine this time.

“My magic has always been my greatest passion. Mine, and any other form of the arcane. I find it fascinating, that we Mages carry something greater and older than we are. Perhaps that's also the reason I have such a fondness for ancient Elven history. Of course, being Dalish, I care about the preservation of my culture – but I also just . . . I don't know. I want the truth, ugly or not. I want to know, so that my people can grow, and learn from the mistakes of our ancestors. I believe that -"

She seems to catch herself and falters. She bites her lip and squares her shoulders, instantly slipping back into her calm, cool demeanour.

“I also enjoy journaling, and ice skating, on occasion.”

12. Have you ever hurt anyone in any way before?

She scoffs. “Have you met me?”

13. Ever… killed anyone before?

Her good humour fades as a shadow crosses her face. She nods solemnly.

“Far too many to count. Directly, and indirectly too. I do what I can to plan ahead, to minimize the risks, to save those who are capable of being saved. It's not always enough, though, try as we might. All we can do is reflect, learn from our mistakes, and promise to do better in the names of the people we've lost.”

14. What kind of animal are you?

“I'm not an animal. Next question.”

15. Name your worst habits?

“I am . . . quite inept when it comes to talking to people. I believe I can come across as a bit . . . bristly. I also have a bad habit of reading in poor lighting – and I've been told I crack my fingers far too much as well. Go figure.”

16. Do you look up to anyone at all?

“I have a great deal of respect for Montsimmard’s First Enchanter, Madam De Fer. She is an exceptional mentor, and a brilliant Mage. I believe I could learn a great deal from her, in time.”

She opens her mouth to add something, then pauses, her cheeks beginning to redden.

“I . . . our resident Fade expert, Solas, is rather adept, as well. He is a unique man, intelligent and insightful. We share a mutual interest in the unknown, and I have found his presence to be . . . refreshing.”

17. Are you gay, straight or bisexual?

“I don't see how this is even remotely relevant to my work as Inquisitor. Next question.”

18. Do you go to school?

“No, unfortunately, though as a child I often daydreamed of attending the University of Orlais. Perhaps I will, one day. That is, if they decide to begin enrolling Elven students.”

19. Ever want to marry and have kids one day?

“Marriage is a Shemlen concept, not usually practiced by the Dalish. Regardless, marriage and domesticity has never held my interest, so I don't see that happening in my future, no. “

She considers for a moment, before adding,

“I would quite like to have a child, however. One day, maybe.”

20. Do you have any fangirls/fanboys?

She laughs. “Josie, do you think Cullen counts?”

21. What are you most afraid of?

“I . . . don’t like despair demons. Next question.”

22. What do you usually wear?

“I do believe that appearances matter, and what you chose to wear is a reflection of the person you are. For that reason, I try to stick with apparel that conveys strength, and power. At best, it will inspire the people who depend on the Inquisitor, but if nothing else, at least it will intimidate the shem nobles.”

23. What’s one food that tempts you?

“My Keeper used to prepare a special desert made from wild berries and a touch of elfroot, I think. She never gave up the recipe, but it was always a favourite within our clan. I cant tell you how many arguments we all had about who was more deserving of seconds.”

24. Am I annoying to you?

She rolls her eyes. “If you have to ask . . .?”

25. Well, it’s still not over!

“Fenehdis.”

26. What class are you (low/middle/high)?

She ponders for a moment. “An interesting question. I suppose high, given my status as Inquisitor. The benefits are given to me due to my title, however, so I suppose without it I would be lower class.”

27. How many friends do you have?

“Half of Skyhold considers themselves my friend, so I suppose you ought to ask them.”

28. What are your thoughts on pie?

Ashara groans and brings a hand up to soothe her temples. Under her breath, she mutters, “I can't believe I cancelled my morning with Solas for this.”

29. Favorite drink?

Dejectedly, “Red wine.”

30. What’s your favorite place?

“Orlais.”

31. Are you interested in anyone?

Again, she blinks, taken off guard once more. “I . . . once again, I don't see how that's relevant. I'm interested in Corypheus, and the Venatori, and all the surviving members of the Red Templars. Until those matters are resolved, the Inquisition is my top priority.

32. That was a stupid question…

“Just that one?”

33. Would you rather swim in a lake or the ocean?

“Creators . . . a lake? I've never swam in the ocean.”

34. What’s your type?

She sighs in defeat. “Although it isn't at all on topic . . . I admire intelligence above anything else. Someone who is self aware and recognises their flaws, but continues to learn and improve despite them. Respect is a must, and independence, too. I appreciate creativity, and level headedness, and I suppose just someone I can enjoy an amicable silence with. I would go on, but I'm sure I've said plenty.”

There is an absent smile just teasing the corners of her lips.

35. Any fetishes?

Her smile twists into a furious scowl.

“By the Dread Wolf, is that a joke?”

36. Camping or outdoors?

She gets out of her chair, brushing lint off her coat and avoiding eyecontact.

“This interview is over. Get out.”

Effie was burrowing into the source of warmthat her back before she even properly woke up, letting out a hum of contentment.Haymitch, for all his claims that he disliked sharing a bed, had a tendency totake up all the space and while that was a little annoying, there wereadvantages to this new habit of his to crash in her room: he tended to wraparound her like an octopus in his sleep. His leg was tossed over hers, herpillow was an arm that was curled around her head and there was a strong handholding her breast.

She was sticky in unpleasant places and soreall over. Her thighs, her right arm… She sighed softly and glanced at theclock, not surprised to find it was later than planned. Haymitch had a nastytendency to tinker with her alarm behind her back. She liked to be up and readyearly, so that she could keep an eye on everyone and have everything undercontrol. The Tour was bad enough without anything going amiss. But Haymitch –and Cinna and Portia – insisted she was pushing herself too hard and she wouldcollapse well before they reached the Capitol if she went on like this,reviewing schedules and working on speeches until the early hours of morning. Theywere conspiring behind her back to force her to get more rest.

They weren’t due in Six until the next daythough and the schedule for the day was light. She had insisted on some dancinglessons for the children because she didn’t want to be embarrassed at the ballat the Presidential Mansion but they weren’t in any hurry. If she could getHaymitch to actually work with her on the speeches in the afternoon, she mighteven go to bed at a proper time that night. Why, she might even have time for a manicure before that.

She gently tried to remove the hand from herchest and Haymitch grunted in protest.

“Go back to sleep.” he muttered against herhair. “Too early.”

“It is well past eight.” she argued in awhisper. “Everyone will be up.”

There was another groan and then he lifted hisleg from her thigh to push it between hers. It became obvious to her, shewasn’t the only one who had been enjoying the tight quarters. She giggleddespite herself when she felt him poking her and he snorted, kneading thebreast she hadn’t managed to get out of his grip.

“None of that.” she chided, whacking his wrist.He pressed his thigh harder against her core and she couldn’t help a smallfrustrated moan. “I am serious. I need to get out of bed.”

“You need to relax.” he argued, pressing longkisses on her nape. “I’m all about helping you with that.”

“I need to use the bathroom.” she protestedwhen he flicked her nipple. “And I need a shower. And I honestly do not think Ican take another round right now. Last night was…”

“Fuckinggood.” he smirked, nipping at her nape. “Thought I had died for a moment there.”

She chuckled and twisted to plant a kiss on hislips, feeling genuinely happier than she had in weeks. It was silly but theprevious night had been rather… athletic andcreative and it made her feel young and reckless. She used to feel that wayall the time but nowadays…

The kisses grew deeper and they eventuallyshifted as he rolled on his back and took her with him.

“Not this morning.” she insisted between twokisses.  

He pouted but eventually shrugged. “Fine.”

“You arewelcome to join me in the shower though.” she grinned.

It took a little more convincing but heeventually let himself get lured out of bed and into the bathroom. Inviting himinto the shower or the bathtub with her was the best way to make sure he wouldwash that day and it was a trick she had long mastered. Even if she sometimesthought he abused it as much as she did.

They fooled around a little in the shower, bothof them in an uncharacteristic good mood. She wondered briefly if that was howit could be like if there were no Games and no poisoned berries dangling overtheir heads. If amazing sex could be enough to make them feel good and brightabout the upcoming day. If they could have been just… happy together.

He sneaked out of her room while she finishedgetting ready. She just hoped he would have the good sense of not gettingcaught.

She was in such a good mood she couldn’t shakea stupid smile off her lips. She was humming a catchy popular song when shemade her way to the dining-room car, the last one to join the group for once.Haymitch was already there, as his usual seat, staring at the bottom of his cupof coffee as if it held the answers to every question in the universe. His greyeyes darted up to meet hers and a hint of a smirk briefly floated on his lips.

“Good morning, everyone!” she called outcheerfully, elegantly dropping on her seat at Haymitch’s right, barelylistening to the greetings she got in return.

Katniss was already sulking for reasons thatwere her own, Peeta was trying to cheer her up, Cinna was very focused onbuttering his toast and Portia had wrapped her hands around her mug of tea andwas studying her with a twinkle of mischief in her dark eyes. Effie knew herfriend enough to know it meant troubles. She lifted an eyebrow in the otherwoman’s direction but the stylist simply took a long sip of her tea, clearlyamused by something she wasn’t willing to share yet.

Effie was sure she would learn about it beforelong so she let the matter drop and poured herself a cup of coffee. By the timeshe grabbed a toast, Haymitch had placed half of his blueberry muffin on herplate, muttering about it being the last one because Katniss couldn’t betrusted around pastries. There were plenty of muffins left but, she saw, noblueberries, so she accepted it with a grateful grin.

He must have thought the night to be asincredible as she did because he also poured her some orange juice without herhaving to ask. It wasn’t like him to be so thoughtful. She discreetly hookedher foot around his ankle, the cup paused for the smallest moment on its way tohis mouth but he covered it well.

“Did you have a good night, Effie?” Portiaasked, a hint of laughter in her voice.

“Why, yes, I did, thank you.” she hummed. “And yourself?”

“We did not get much sleep.” her friendexplained.

“Really?” she frowned. “You weren’t ill, Ihope?”

“You didn’t hear the noises?” Katniss cut inwith a frown of her own.

Effie forcedherself not to glance at Haymitch as she assumed an expression of fakepuzzlement, too aware that everyone else had stopped talking to follow thediscussion. Cinna, like Portia, seemed to have trouble not laughing. Peetasuddenly seemed fascinated with the croissants.

“The noises?” she repeated in a tone of politeinterest, quickly but surely taking her foot away from Haymitch’s ankle.

“Yeah.” the girl confirmed, nodding her head.“It sounded like a wounded animal or something.”

“Yes, I dobelieve that is an accuratedescription of those strange, strangenoises.” Portia agreed, obviously fighting to keep her countenance. She turnedto Haymitch with a bright smile. “What did you think, Haymitch?”

Haymitch was chewing on a big piece of muffin,which afforded him a few seconds to school his features. “Can’t say. I wasdrunk. Passed out, you know.”

“Were you, now…” the stylist hummed. “How peculiar. I could have sworn I heard you call out to Effie atsome point…”

“Whywould Haymitch be calling out to me in the middle of the night, Portia?” Effieasked with a fake laugh. “Do not be preposterous.”

“My bad.” her friend teased. “I did think I heard you call back, mindyou, didn’t I, Cinna? We thought perhaps the two of you had gone to… investigate.”  

“I wanted to go look but Peeta said it wasprobably someone watching TV.” Katniss shrugged, completely oblivious.

“How clever of you to figure it out, Peeta!”Effie exclaimed with some relief. “Yes, it musthave been that. Someone must have been watching TV. I will have a word with thetrain attendants. Pass me the orange jam, would you, Cinna?”

Portia allowed the conversation to be stirredto safer topics but Effie knew her friend and she also knew that nobody at thattable, except for Katniss, was fooled by the TV excuse. As soon as she deemedit safe to do so, she glanced at Haymitch who was resolutely staring away from her.

“Would come with me to check Peeta’s outfit fortomorrow?” Portia asked after breakfast, before Effie could make the sort ofgrand escape Haymitch was already attempting.

“Of course.” she granted, unable to refuse.

Portia linked their arms together as soon asthey were a safe distance from the living-room car where the children usuallyspent their free time. The train’s corridors were narrow and it wasn’t reallypractical to walk like that but her friend was clearly in a teasing mood soEffie allowed her the fancy.

“Strictlybetween you and me, at one point I was unsure if he was trying to kill you or pleasureyou.” the stylist laughed.

“I have no idea what you are talking about.”she denied.

Portia rolled her eyes. “Darling, only onething does that kind of noises and there are only six people using that car.Now, it wasn’t me, it wasn’t Katniss… The conclusion wouldn’t be that hard toreach even if you hadn’t shouted hisname at the top of your lungs.”

She flushed crimson, battling her fakeeyelashes to hide her embarrassment. “Portia…”

“It sounded reallygood, I was jealous.” her friend pouted.

Effie cleared her throat and glanced around,but they were alone in that part of the train so she sighed. “Was I really that loud?”

Portia patted her arm in a comforting gesturebut didn’t part with the teasing smile on her lips. “You should probably keepin mind those compartments are not soundproof next time.”

“Oh, god…” she muttered in mortification,raising her free hand to her burning cheek.

“The banging of the headboard against the wallcovered most of it.” Portia mocked gently. “And, of course, there wasHaymitch’s triumphant grunting at the end… We could not hear you anymore bythat point, I really was scared hehad finished you off. That last cry of yours sounded almost painful.”

“So painfully good.” she confessed, biting down on her bottom lip at the memory.

Portia chuckled. “What was he doing to you?”

“Ravishing me.” she deadpanned with a chuckleof her own.

“That much, I gathered on my own.” her friendteased as they reached the car where the outfits were stocked. They crossed theone that carried Cinna’s work and moved on to Portia’s.

Effie hesitated a second but then threw cautionto the wind. At that point… “Two words for you: pirate’s bounty.”

“Oh, that isa nice one!” Portia approved with a knowing look. “You must be very flexible.”

“That has never been a problem for me.” sheconfirmed smugly. Even if her muscles were sore now. “Do we truly need to check Peeta’s outfit orwas it just an excuse?”

“His outfit will be fantastic as usual.” Portiadismissed with a wave of her hand, leaning against the wall with a smirk. “Now,tell me everything. Does the piratehave a long sword?”

“Portia!” she rebuked, eyeing her up and downwith her lips pursed. “A lady does not kiss and tell.”

“A lady should share with her best friend.” thestylist argued. “Besides, you forget I am his tailor. I know which side he dresseson.”

“Portia!” she gasped.

“Well, I cannot help but notice what is rightin front of my eyes.” her friend argued. “Impressive even at rest… You are a lucky girl, no wonder you were screamingso loud.”

Effie wavered between rolling her eyes andlaughing and ended up leaning against the wall next to her friend, shaking herhead at her stupidity today. As if her sex life was so important compared toeverything that was going on.

C: Comfort

1. how do they sit in a chair? 

Sarya Lavellan - She’s a bit more relaxed when sitting. Josephine has had to clear her throat loudly on occasion because she’ll turn her head and see Sarya sitting cross-legged in her chair (Josephine does her best to try to get Sarya acting a bit more “proper” for sake of impressing noble allies, to little avail). She’s more likely to slouch when sitting for long periods of time, especially once she starts daydreaming (which happens often). 

Lana Surana - Very straight-backed. She doesn’t cross her ankles beneath the chair or anything super proper like that, but she was definitely barked at to sit up straight enough times as a kid to have it drilled into her. Sometimes, if she feels herself beginning to slouch, she can hear her mother’s voice in her head as a warning and immediately rights herself. 

2. in what position do they sleep?

Sarya Lavellan - Sarya’s all over the place. When sleeping by herself she usually starts out on her side, and will wake up sometimes halfway off her bedroll hugging her pillow. When sleeping with Cullen, she usually starts out curled in towards him or him in towards her with his face buried just below her neck. Cullen quickly learns to hold onto her tightly, lest he wants to wake up with her ass in his face (not that he’d mind). 

Lana Surana - When alone, very curled up, making herself small. She often starts out with a blanket over her head to fall asleep, and then straightens out in her sleep and ends up on her back much like how she constantly straightens herself while sitting. This doesn’t change much when she’s with Alistair, starting out curled out with her back to Alistair, though she’s happy to trade in the blanket over her head for his arms which he keeps tight around her to keep her safe. She still ends up straightened out at some point in the night, which Alistair takes advantage of and ends up sprawled across her with his face in her chest (his “favorite pillow” as he likes to put it). 

3. what is their ideal comfort day?

Sarya Lavellan - A day with her friends and loved ones where nothing goes wrong and everyone is happy. No Anchor flaring in her hand, no demons, no Great Game to play, just laughter and maybe good cakes to share. 

Lana Surana - Spending time somewhere quiet, away from civilization, just Alistair and herself. Comfort is something that’s difficult for her to find after everything she’s been through and the impact it’s had on her views of herself, but she’s always found comfort in solitude, and Alistair has a way of making her relax that’s uncanny to her. 

4. what is their major comfort food? why?

Sarya Lavellan - Tea; she was trained as an herbalist on top of being a mage, so she’s able to make a tea and enchant it to suit her needs. Cakes are always a comfort as well, although not always as readily available as tea. She loves cakes because they had very little access to sweets like that in a roaming Dalish clan that stayed away from human settlements for the most part, so it’s become a bit of a delicacy for her.

Lana Surana - Fruit, especially berries. Her father used to give her berries as a treat, and she’s reminded of him whenever she eats them. The memories are bittersweet, but she’d rather remember than not at all.

5. who is the best at comforting them when down?

Sarya Lavellan - Dorian. Don’t get me wrong, Cullen is great at soothing her and making her happy, but Dorian is her best friend and always has the best gossip to take her mind off of things. He’s also a fierce friend and is ready to throw the sass right back at any Orlesian mistaking Sarya for a servant (or, on occasion, try to convince them that she’s his servant and they can go toss themselves if they think they can just go and steal his elf. Always good when he wants to make people stare). 

Lana Surana - Alistair. He goes the extra mile to cheer her up when she’s down, and lucky for him she loves his sense of humor so it’s not difficult for him. He’s also very intuitive when it comes to her hiding her feelings, so he can catch her before she goes too far down into a dark hole.

1. what is their most attractive external feature?

(These were actually really hard for me to come up with from my perspective, which is immensely funny to me for some reason. So, I’m writing these from the perspective of their romance)

Sarya Lavellan - (From Cullen’s perspective): Maker’s breath, I have to choose just one? Then, I suppose… her mouth, specifically the way it curves when she smiles. The trio of freckles on the back of her left shoulder, the ones just below her neckline. Come now, you can’t possibly expect me to pick just one.

Lana Surana - (From Alistair’s perspective): What, her most attractive external feature? Liiike, her adorable little nose? But then, what about her gorgeous blue eyes? Oooor… her, ah, breasts, because… well, those are… ahem… very nice as well, you’ve… probably noticed. I mean, I have… Who wouldn’t? 

2. what is the most attractive part of their personality?

Sarya Lavellan - Probably her want to help others. She’s very genuine and wears her heart on her sleeve. She’s usually the first person to jump to their feet when someone is expressing any need, and will stay dutifully at a friend’s side when they’re ill or sad or just in general need someone. She chose Mythal’s markings for her vallaslin for a reason.

Lana Surana - Her fierce loyalty. Lana tries not to get too close to people, but she will defend them with all she has. She believes it’s her duty to protect people, and will especially go out of her way to protect those who have ever so much as smiled in her direction out of fear of them being hurt because of her. 

3. what benefits come with being their friend?

Sarya Lavellan - A friend of Sarya’s is always cared for. If she finds them to be dissatisfied, she will try to find a way to lift their spirits. If they are ill, she’ll nurse them back to health. Plus, being a close friend of the Inquisitor has its own perks for sure. 

Lana Surana - Someone who always has your back, who is quiet but loud when it comes to defending you. She’s easily amused, so your jokes are sure to get a laugh no matter how dorky. 

4. what parts of them do they like and dislike?

Sarya Lavellan - Sarya is proud of being a mage, of having abilities that allow her to help others in ways that not everyone can (this also extends to her herbalist abilities). She wishes she could be more outspoken and stand up for herself better around people she doesn’t know, and also wishes that she dealt with chaos better (and her life has been nothing but chaos since the Conclave).

Lana Surana - This one was difficult to answer for Lana because there’s a lot of self loathing because of her past. If she could pick something to like about herself, it would probably be her appreciation of solitude. She can go a long time without speaking to someone and feel at peace. She very much dislikes being a mage, and is convinced that if she had not come into magic then nothing would have happened the way it did. She sees being a mage as somewhat of a curse, and being a Grey Warden as her penance for everything bad that her magic has brought upon those she knew. 

5. what parts of others do they envy?

Sarya Lavellan - Sarya envies Vivienne’s confidence, Cullen’s willpower, and Josephine’s ability to make heads or tails of the Great Game.

Lana Surana - Other than not being a mage, Lana envies Alistair’s lighthearted nature in spite of everything that’s happened to him, Morrigan’s pride in being a mage, and Leliana’s knack for seeing every detail even in tricky situations.

FYFA: doesn’t interact much with Idina, though when they do talk she asks questions about magic; doesn’t interact much with Ilse, thinks she’s too uppity; initially didn’t like Kallian much but spends more time with her now that the Blight is over; immediately took a liking to Naoka during the Blight; doesn’t interact much with Sutton but likes her on the basis that Naoka likes her; warmed up to Theresa circa Broken Circle and has not ceased to be a nuisance to Tess since

IDINA: doesn’t interact much with Fyfa, though when they do talk she asks questions about Dalish life; doesn’t interact much with Ilse; likes Kal but didn’t spend much time with her until after the Blight; warmed up to Naoka slowly, and now likes her very much as a friend; gets along with Sutton; has been best friends with Tess since they were itty bitty, and it took them 18 years and a whole Blight to figure out they like each other

ILSE: doesn’t interact much with Fyfa or Idina, though she likes the latter more than the former; doesn’t interact much with Kal until they’re both close to their Callings, at which point they get along p well; hated Naoka at first, but they started to get along after she worked through her own Issues, and now the two of them are qps; doesn’t interact much with Sutton but enjoys her company well enough; thoroughly enjoys Tess’ company

SUTTON: doesn’t interact much with Fyfa; gets along with Idina; doesn’t interact much with Ilse but likes her on the basis that Naoka likes her didn’t pay Kal much mind until midway through the Blight, then reached out to Kal (and ultimately saved her life by doing so); hit it off immediately with Naoka, then after a rough patch between Redcliffe and Orzammar the two of them properly got together; good friends with Tess

contact: how does your OC(s) feel about touch/physical contact? are they affectionate? if so, how do they display affection to others?

FYFA doesn’t like contact from people she doesn’t know, but if she knows you and likes you, she will find any reason she can to touch you. You know she likes you if she drapes herself over you like you’re furniture. She’ll call anyone on their bullshit, but when she loves someone, she’ll hug them afterward

IDINA enjoys some casual touch, like handshakes and an arm on the shoulder, even a quick hug if she knows who you are. She isn’t much of a cuddler until she loves you, however, and even then she prefers showing her affection in other ways, most often with words -- sweet nicknames and the like

ILSE finds touch to be too intimate for her liking most of the time, in particular because she’s very slow to trust people. When she and Naoka get together, though, it’s revealed that’s she liked cuddling while asleep. While awake, she’s more likely to share space and silence with someone if she likes them. If she’s smiling in your company, she trusts you; if she’s adjusting her schedule to suit you, she adores you

SUTTON loves contact but she’s very adaptable, and she quickly becomes fluent in the love languages of the people in her life. She loves picking people up to hug them bc she’s tall and buff enough to do so, but her three favourite people don’t like being picked up. It’s very tragic

track & field: which (if any) of your OCs are athletic? what sports to they play? which of your OCs would go HARD in P.E.?

All except for Idina are athletic actually! It isn’t that Dee dislikes physical activity, it’s that she vastly prefers just pain ol’ walking if she’s supposed to move at all

Ilse is the least athletic of the other three per say, but she’s both fit and competitive, and she would love contact sports like rugby. Fyfa likes being athletic for the sake of moving around, and she’s also competitive for the sake of competition; she’d probably genuinely love track and field tbh. Sutton regularly spends time at the gym with her buddies, and absolutely goes hard as hell during competitive sports. She’s mostly here to have fun, but she’s not having fun if she’s not giving it her all

fragrance: what do your OCs smell like?

FYFA has a perpetual herbal smell to her, no matter how long it’s been since she was in the woods. There’s a sharp accent to her scent that could be spice or could be blood. As she gets older, the smell of death clings to her sooner than it clings to the others, overtaking the herbal smell little by little

IDINA smells like petrichor; in the Circle she smelled more like flowers pressed in a book, both the pages and the flowers themselves, but after leaving the Circle she was outside as often as possible. When using combat magic, or while she’s feeling intense emotion, she smells noticeably of ozone for a while

ILSE’s hair requires lots of care, including various oils, to keep it curly and healthy in the dry heat of Orzammar. Most of those oils don’t have much scent since they’re largely nut oils, but one can notice a coconutty smell to Ilse if one is close enough

SUTTON usually smells of salt in one way or another: sea water and sweat are each viable culprits. She frequently smells like dog, too, to the surprise of absolutely no one

poison: vices/bad habits? what are they? how do they affect your OC?

FYFA, in Shay’s on words, will die on any hill she sees. She likes arguing for the sake of arguing; she’s very good at talking for ages about nothing at all, and also good at telling lies, both extravagant and plausible. This got her into all sorts of trouble growing up, which she delighted in

IDINA will do just about anything for sugar. Not only that, but she has a bad habit of making assumptions; this has led to more than one instance of her assuming something that Tess didn’t mean, and Tess hates it when people put words in her mouth, so that ofc went well. She also used to shrink under pressure, and while she’s gotten better at this with time, she still has a tendency to ramble and to restart her sentences when stressed or nervous

ILSE is deeply traditional, and she has a very hard time altering her course when she learns that tradition isn’t the most favourable path to walk. This makes her first six months on the throne strenuous for her and Naoka, who had stayed behind as her second and who had to frequently remind Ilse of their intended goal of rebuilding the society of Orzammar

SUTTON puts into motion nearly every impulse that crosses her mind if it seems like fun, consequences be damned. This has led to more than one painful rash, broken bone, and judging look. Again, though, consequences be damned

FYFA: Eating berries with Tamlen and Merrill behind their shared aravel. Merrill was the only one among them to have vallaslin, despite being more than two years younger than her and nearly three younger than Tamlen; the two of them would be completing their hunters’ trial in a couple of days. But for now, the three of them were children, flicking rotten berries at each other’s faces, carding stained fingers into one another’s hair, tangling their legs together, laughing and carefree

IDINA: Those tentative steps she took on the shore or Lake Calenhad after stepping off the boat she, Tess, and Duncan had been in, before they reached the wild grass and flowers and she laid down among them. Years and years of waiting to be on this side of the lake culminating into this long moment, with her on her back, looking up at the grey sky through squinted, smiling eyes. When her eyes found Tess, she was smiling down at her, one of her rare and soft smiles that Idina had always felt were meant just for her; Idina had never felt so free

ILSE: That two-second-long period between the Assembly acquiescing to her and Tess’ pitch to make her Queen and Bhelen making an attempt on Tess’ life for it. The whole room was alive with sound, as the deshyrs celebrated the end of their indecision and politely (or enthusiastically) welcomed their future Queen; and her new friends were right behind her. For the woman who had spent the better part of the year in various states of Alone, this welcome was long-awaited

SUTTON: Standing with her mother on a cliff on the coast of the Waking Sea, watching huge waves crash into the rock face with such force that, even while standing several feet away from the cliff’s edge, Sutton and Eleanor’s clothing was soaked by the half hour mark. Eleanor did not lose her attachment of the sea after marrying into the land-locked Couslands, and here, watching and listening to the waves, humbled and small and yet at ease, Sutton understood why her mother loved and respected the waves
