Progress made for the Shapur WIP I started today. Wanted to give him headwear and see how it looked, mainly, I think I did smth wrong though, the piece as a whole looks kinda weird. Maybe I'll chop off that left side (his right?) of the coat, maybe that'll help. I probably should've given him a fur hat rather than a head-wrap but I've come this far, I'll probably just stick to my guns and go for it. I imagine his coat is not only trimmed with fur but maybe also lined with it on the inside to give him extra warmth in cold weather. On the subject matter of fur... I'M NEVER DRAWING IT EVER AGAIN. GOD FILLING IN THE COLOR FOR THE FUR WAS A NIGHTMARE. The bucket tool didn't work properly (that's a whole nother can of worms) so I had to painstakingly fill it out by hand and— 0/10 do not recommend. I still haven't decided what the color of the fur should be, I'm not too fond of this color, but that's a problem for future me.

He's a character I'm so not used to drawing, really, so I feel super un-confident with this one. I will give his clothes more detail, since they're based off of this thing with minor adjustments save for the addition of the fur-lined coat:

I'll also probably add more detailing on the coat sleeves since the sleeves on the green layer got concealed, maybe I'll do something more with the coat, I'm not so sure yet. But I do want him to look like nobility, y'know? And this is currently a tad plain even if he isn't the type to have loud displays of wealth on his person in my opinion.
