Hello! I love Fornax so much, they're so cool! As someone who doesn't know anything about gpose how do u get started? Just basic stuff?
hiya! and thank you!!! <3
hmmm. i'd say a good starting point for gpose is to just poke around at everything in the window to get a feel for what things do! like mess with the lighting and colors, see how it drastically changes the mood if you have the light(s) angled differently, further away / closer to your character, check out the different color filters & screen effects, etc
cycling through emotes and pausing them at certain times can get you all kinds of fun poses tbh!! same goes for doing this with abilities if you use one -> enter gpose (you can disable battle effects if there's too much of it cluttering the screen or hiding your character)
(i also recommend using /sit before entering gpose to 'reset' whatever you were last doing, unless you're trying to pose w/ abilities)
you can also pair an emote + expression if you want a little more emotion in what your character is doing (or if you don't like the current expression they're doing) here!

honestly i feel it really boils down to:
mess around with settings and test things out, and get comfy and familiar with it
experiment with lighting, effects, the camera angle, etc
oh right, also having this set to 200 will greatly help keep proportions accurate!

i feel there's A Lot to gposing, but i hope this helps a little bit in some way to at least get started!! :0c (don't believe anyone who tells you that you NEED gshade/reshade and things like ktisis/brio either to have good gposes. i've seen plenty of incredible vanilla screenshots that don't use any of those, if anything, those simply enhance the experience, but isn't necessary y'know?)
