i think a lot about how many of us cannot separate subjectivity and objectivity. basically "i like this" vs "this is good", and the same for dislike and bad. you're allowed to dislike something that is objectively well-crafted! you're allowed to like something that is objectively poorly-made! it's okay to admit something you like has objective flaws, and it's okay to admit something you hate has objectively good qualities to it! jesus christ it's not all one way or the other!

get the mid-2010s film critic out of your head! it's eviction time babey!!!! eat up those plush videos you used to make as a 7 year old edited in imovie!!!!!!!!!!
