also, guys, i must emphasize it was done very subtly. like, in a way that makes you think "oh, but was it actually?? was he just waving or saluting normally????", which is a classic tactic used by someone who wants to have plausible deniability. sure, it's possible it wasn't done with the intent to invoke Nazism (although given Musk's track record it seems unlikely). you can watch elon's full speech on youtube to verify for yourself, it's only 4 minutes or so long.
but, like... the people that salute matters to, full blown mask-off Nazis, will rally around it. and at that point, if you build up an audience of Nazis, intent doesn't fucking matter.
The fact that “Elon musk does two Nazi salutes” isn’t blowing up my push notifications is the best example I could possibly give of the media’s failure to do fucking anything
