you should go off about people screwing up quincy's characterization it would be funny

last time i did that it got me blocked by soooooooo many people its not even funny but i just find it So Funny how everyone is determined to characterize him as mean or aggressive or overly serious or rude when he is NONE of these things . were just copypasting arthurs negative traits (which are INTEGRAL to my enjoyment of his character, i have to be honest. hes a pathetic sopping wet cat of a man but he also sucks andi love that for him. i want to put him in a box and shake it violently before wrapping him in a towel like a feral cat) onto him ... hes a pretty damn chill guy all things considered. i do NOT have the brainpower to actually properly articulate how i feel about quincy as a character based on what we saw during tennocon or anything lijke that but please know that i have a deep affection for him and it makes me soooooo annoyed to see people misrepresenting him as mean and hating everyone when he is objectively neither of these things, the people around him just keep interpreting his confidence and attempts at being playfully friendly to lighten the situation as aggressive or condescending or antagonistic . i m h o

sso ! ok. uh. I dont rlly think I have an outright evil character, but I feel like the closest I can get to that is Asphodel (2hats below & eye/staring warning)?

Asphodel(she/it) is my looped Renzo. She’s a guide, helping the looper out through their situation. That’s the extent of its purpose.

It’d be an antagonist/obstacle/whatever in the same way Loop is in canon: right at the end.

Asphodel doesn’t have a home anymore. All that’s left is it, the fragments of its party scattered throughout her (in its voice, most notably). As she helps the looper overcome and break free of the loops, she realizes just what she’s lost. What they have, she no longer does. What it can never, ever have again, they now do. Even if the party is entirely different from its original (cough cough partyswap) she can’t help but feel betrayed.

To put it lightly, there’s. a bit of jealousy with it! And betrayal!

if i could kill anyone, it would probably be my older brother. i don’t lijke him :)

i think if i died again id be really mad. i’m kind of scared of death, yea. i don’t like how cold it is. i actually don’t like any bit of it. and i know i wished death upon my brother (and maybe he deserves it), i think it is a ruthless thing that takes and takes. and i don’t like it. it’s not even peaceful, when you die. you can feel it happening if that makes sense. your body giving up, your last breath, the last thing you see, and suddenly its weird that everything you did that day and the days before your death is your last. the last time you touched something and the last time you said hello to a stranger or even the last time you stopped the buzzing life of yours to take in nature. and it’s also weird how desperately you don’t want it to be your last anything, but it’s also weird that you can’t really do anything about that.
