Uhhh so last night I accidentally took my *stimulant* ADHD meds instead of my anxiety meds, didn't realize it until the pill was in my throat... So I chased it with 2000mg of Vitamin C gummies, two kiwis, and 5mg of melatonin! (Vitamin C inhibits the absorption of amphetamines in the bloodstream.) I do not take my sleep lightly, but either way I'm still thinking about Choso's fingers in my mouth.👼

went to a concert by myself because i told myself 2024 is the year in which i’m going to do more things that scare me. then i did it and found out it wasn’t scary at all. anti-climax as hell

I've read two books in three days, which has not happened in a long time, and my god, it felt good.

I realized maybe part of why reading can take me so long now when I used to tear through books constantly is just that I read so much more non-fiction now. These two were both fiction and both gossipy* sort of books (Valley of the Dolls and Shadow of the Dolls) and I can tell you everything that happened, but I didn't have to read very carefully to make sure I missed something.

Anyway, it feels great.

*I'm using "gossipy" because I've seen writers talk about how they write romance or books like VotD and don't like their hard work being called "trashy," and I fucking LOVE trash, but I think gossipy gives you the same vibe without the negative connotations.
