9: Most memorable moment

There’s…. a lot… Like how I first got REALLY invested in the story towards the end of ARR. How excited I was when I first discovered gpose. Or how many amazing and hilarious people I’ve met in duty finder. I have so many good and also many bad memories from this game. 

But I guess one of the many that sticks out to me was when I first ran through The Praetorium. Being the clear newbie among the other veteran players, they were all so nice and not only made jokes in chat, but also waited for ME before pulling any of the bosses. At the end, they told me to enjoy the story and somehow I got 6 commends even though I feel like I did absolutely nothing but get carried the whole way through. It makes me remember why this community is regarded as one of the friendliest of all MMOs.

11: Fave part of the story

Okay so obviously this is a spoiler for Shadowbringers. I’m kinda torn between the quest lines where we had to find the twins (no preference between the two, I like them both a lot for a few different reasons) and the entirety of the arc in Il Mheg. My very first tear shed in ShB was the scene with Seto. Any of you who have been through that scene will know exactly why.

13: Fave city

I want to say the Crystarium but I feel like I AFK in Gridania so often that it just doesn’t feel right to not pick it. 

17: Fave Dungeon

Ouch.. I like so many dungeons in this game.. I love the Great Gubal Library for the music and location. I’ve grown rather fond of Ala Mhigo since all the bosses have really fun mechanics. I think I ultimately like Twinning the most, though. Great music, great aesthetic and THAT FINAL BOSS.

18: Fave Trial

Again, I love so many trials in this game and most of them for completely different reasons. Honorable mentions go to Titania and Seiryu for their kickass themes. But I will NEVER get tired of getting Tsukuyomi in duty finder, even if it is really rare.

19: Fave Raid

Alexander Prime. No contest. Has the most memorable raid theme I’ve heard and also my favourite primal in the game. Among the 24-mans though, Copied Factory because it has the best music and bonus points for being Nier.

22: Fave Minion

I usually prefer cute animal minions over wind-ups / humanoid ones (I find their faces really pixelated and derpy most of the time) and I have so many animal minions I frequently switch between ;;;

Hiya! I have an interesting question. Hopefully you will have ideas or followers to help me out? Okay. How can an autie prepare to be a parent? Especially if their child is allistic (and heaven help me if they're an extroverted allistic). I am so nervous that I'll end up somehow hurting my future child from some of the autistic things I deal with. What are some pros and cons of being an autie parent?

this is a really interesting question. to be clear, i am a 17 year old kid with no parenting experience, so my knowledge comes from listening to other people and because i had a minor special interest in parenting & child development

my advice would be the following:

- follow a hell of a lot of autistic parent blogs. by that i mean blogs of actual autistic people who are parents, both to autistic kids and allistic kids. they will know the inside outs of it better than anyone!! there are probably also forums or advice blogs with similar things does anyone know of any autistic parent blogs that they could link to?

- no matter what kind of kid u have (personality, neurotype, ability, etc), your kid will be unique but the *basis* for good parenting will essentially be the same: you have to learn how your kids work, and constantly develop your parenting. i wont go into how to be a perfect parent, as there are so many aspects of it, but reading about it from people is a good way to go. as long as you practise open communication, setting examples, upholding respect, and showing love, then you’ll be a good parent. to do those things, u gotta accept that u wont always be right, and adapt your thinking/behaviour accordingly

- obviously ur still gonna be autistic as an adult, so i think open communication and expression of emotions is the best way to deal with that. a kid who understands that their parent might go nonverbal sometimes but that its not their fault, or that their parent might not always want to be touched, will still feel loved and included, so long as they know about it and u have strategies in place. for example, developing a specific nonverbal way of saying ily thats special to you both, and having a means of communicating when in need. again, autistic parents are the ones with the authority here

- u wont be alone!! dont worry about having children because u cant look after them in every aspect without breaks, because u wont have to. you might have a partner/s to be another parent; you might have family to rely on; you might have a reliable circle of friends; you might join a parenting group (there may even be ones for autistic parents specifically! who knows!). its important not to b isolated when raising kids, and u wont have to b
