omg i love so many things its not even funny. a few important ones are waluigi (special interest), sonic the hedgehog (special interest AND hyperfixation (omg please kill me)), art (like, as a general thing, but particularly visual) and you WILL find me randomly posting oh-so-passionately about something ive never even mentioned before.

i do animation and illustration but that's over on my art blog. also all my animations are WIPs. you probably won't find anything other than a few weird lip syncs from when i was like 11 (i got into animation because of gacha life and animation memes). most of my art is sonic atm lol.

MILES 'TAILS' PROWER!!!! he's been my favourite sonic character since i was little!!!! except for that brief period where it was amy because i found out tails was a boy and i, as a 7-year-old girl who had just learned about misoginy, decided amy was better because she was a girl. and that briefer period where it was cream because she had confetti in sonic dash.

my favourite iterations of him are scu tails, classic tails and sonic boom tails!!! i h/c him as autistic, having anxiety, low self-esteem but also being really cheerful and nonchalant about a lot of stuff. i enjoy trans tails of all kinds, but i believe in cis gnc tails.

My fave shot I did for Arlo the Alligator Boy!

I was super excited to get this shot ‘cuz Wash the Hurt Away was one of my favorite sequences from the film and I really wanted to animate a scene from this sequence.

When I got this shot I really wanted to take it, and make it mine!  Really own it!  Which I feel I hadn’t really done before, just take it and push it as far as it can go, put my stamp on it.

Also I used my preferred technique of roughing the whole thing then going to tight roughs, then clean roughs, but most of the time I don’t feel I have time to do that, especially for like dialogue scenes.

This scene is right in my wheel-house, and I got to dust off my action animation skills, but it also came with some interesting challenges, like how to transition between nightmare images and the rainbow spiral

I originally wanted to use Bertie’s color as the main color for the rainbow spiral (since Arlo’s most important relationship in the film is with Bertie) but since her color was burgundy it kinda looked like Arlo was swimming in blood, and it upset me to look at after awhile so I changed it to a pale pink.  (I also changed Furlecia’s hot pink to a salmon color ‘cuz all the colors together were hurting my eyes while I worked on it)

And special thanks to the artists who came after me (fx artist, cleanup, comp, etc.), for making this shot look extra pretty!

B U T- i have ideas for abnormality ocs, these are mostly related to nursery rhymes and stories i remember,

these might not be original ideas so,, bear with me

(tiny tw for: murder, death, comas and mass disappearances,)

just a reminder i dont know what these guys risk classes would be, so bear with me on this one

so lets start off with the story one, more specifically, the pied piper

so i read an article of its disturbing truth and its said that the piper is the personification of death, you know what that means?

i make the piper a gentleman with a wife and 2 sons who are twins (isabel and gregory, see? their important) named mori (”i apologize to my sons that i couldn’t control myself, i hope you two are doing well,”)

mori’s life before his death basically played out like the pied piper, but it took a much different turn

he decided to put the rats who were infesting the town into an abandoned clock tower, before they all starved and died, some of the rats, with all the strength they had left, formed 2 rat kings that were both merged together, (fun fact: this is another abnormality i thought of thats well- a clock filled with undead and decomposing mice, you probably know where im going with this)

what happened to the children? (except for his two sons) he murdered them and he went insane and murdered himself aswell, the police found the children and also his body many months later, and he moves on as a restless spirit, if any children have been bad a snake-like spirit with an angler fish’s face will rise up from their bodies, these guys dont do much harm, (theres a 30% chance that a plague (i thought inner demon was kinda cliche so uh) will rise from an employee’s body after they were killed) (tiny little thing i wanna add but i may not, if there are 5 plagues then they’ll merge with mori, making him even more dangerous) (also off topic to the story but mori himself wasn’t diagnosed with anything before he died, he didn’t have any mental trauma, in fact, he was generally a nice person to talk to, but rumour has it the flute might’ve caused this murders to happen)

he was basically locked in the cabin for well- months, until someone (isabel who was training to be a flute player) played the song his father usually plays on his flute every new year

that was.. a bit dark, holy shit-

heres the next one for this post

you know the nursery rhyme hey diddle diddle?

well i thought of 4 different abnormalities for this one, that usually switch randomly from one abnormality to another every day, reset, or if you had them first in one of the departments, every memory repository

the least harmful (dammit, accidentally put harmless instead of harmful) one is the laughing dog (”with every cry the spirit made, the kingdom’s castle broke more and more, until the residents of the kingdom disappeared, even himself.”)

basically its a regular pet dog but its in a jester outfit like its halloween or something, the dog was said to be a reincarnation of a medieval jester

basically, kinda like crumbling armour except with attachment, if you do attatchment, you’ll get a gift that gives you more work success

but, dont get your hopes up! if you do attachment too much the person with the gift will laugh until they cant breathe and eventually die (hi yes i didn’t notice that library of ruina has a jester related abnormality, im not kidding. i really didn’t know that it already existed)

the next one is moon jumper (”who knew the moon orbiting the earth would also have something orbiting it? it would seem pretty crazy to believe!”)

this guy is an astronaut with cow horns that hasn’t succumbed to space even though the glass thats protecting their face from space, has cracked a little, they were found circling the moon for some reason and even trying to jump over it

when they breach, they do it passively, usually, everywhere they go theres an effect that causes the room to have the gravity of the moon, meaning abnormalities (even himself) including employees go very slow (heres a thing i added, sometimes an employee may float upwards, they will soon fall down. the fall causes red damage, because you know- they fell-)

moon jumper can be very helpful when suppressing abnormalities due to this power, and after a few minutes he will slowly walk back to his containment

the next one is the cat’s fiddle (”people have thought the instrument was a curse made for the person wielding it,”) a lady with cat eyes, if you zoom in you can hear the sound of someone playing the fiddle. theres a new special work for this abnormality called “trade” for if the person wants to trade their weapon for the fiddle for a while, if you forget to bring it back by the end of the day, dont worry as the weapon that was traded for the fiddle will return back to the employee the next day, if the person wielding the fiddle ever goes insane, they’re eyes will become cat-like (mostly like the woman’s) and they’ll begin slicing the throats of people.

and the last one from the hey diddle diddle gang is the dish that ran with the spoon, (”wake up! please! its not over yet..”) it is a widower who sees illusions of his wife and the wedding disaster, he usually thinks his wife is still breathing. what this wedding disaster means is unknown.

when he breaches his illusion (aka his wife) will appear from another department, on top of a random department’s room will be a wedding ring, they are harmless at first, but if they finally see each other, and the wedding starts, the wedding will abruptly end with the wife’s neck bleeding, her falling onto the floor and fading out of existence, and the widower quickly snapped back to real life, with the realization that his wife is long gone, madness takes over him and he starts to attack the guests that partook in the wedding

next one! its another nursery rhyme related abnormality,

old man coma! (”whatever they said, whatever they tried to do, they couldn’t save him from eternal rest, I already took his last moments away.”)

basically its an old man, who appears to be sleeping in a bed.

his qliphoth counter is at 2, when its at 1, (either bad result, prudence level 3 and lower or repression work, it’ll also go down if the person was damaged by white damage in any way the day they’re working on old man coma) the containment will start to glitch a bit, likes its slipping back into reality, when its at 0, a flat-line can be heard, the containment will change again and the old man will now be lying in a hospital bed thats right next to a heart monitor,

the actual abnormality is his condition, which takes the form of a shadow with bleeding eyes, although its sort of calm, its violent to those who had previous head injuries, (example: hitting your head on things) since head injuries remind it of the old man

when it escapes from the containment it will search for employees with prudence 3 or lower, after it finds one it will soon go into the employee’s brain and make them pass out by just bumping either an employee or an abnormality, they will stay passed out till the end of the day, they will only go for one person, then they’ll be back in containment, but that doesn’t mean the employee will still live! at the next day the employee will be missing, and a notification will pop up that the employee is dead.

i keep getting alot of ideas so heres the final one: missing persons busride! (its based off of glitch in the matrix stuff,) (”so.. this is the thing that caused the mass disappearances?”)

this is a tool abnormality i thought of. like the name says its a bus with grayscale colors,  when an employee gets onto the bus (aka uses it) it’ll drive to a portal and come back. there is a chance that the employee will get a work speed boost, but theres also a chance that the person will go missing, you’ll know this if the person comes back as a sorta visible glitchy shadow, there will be no notification specifying the person’s death, and if they are gone, they are gone forever, even if you try to reset or memory repository, they will still be gone. you will have to create the employee again if you want them back.

i replayed kz again tonight and managed to beat it in 4 hrs instead of 11 !!! which is rly cool imo, i think i got a max of like 50 deaths or less for the full run ??? i was just playing regularly but usin the prism blade for the cool blood effects, not in speedrun mode for the counter, and i managed 2 drag my friend into hyperfixation hell with me :} but also i have some thoughts and opinions im not rly sure how to compile in a meaningful way, so here’s the like. pure brain-down-on-blog post version under the cut. if this gets auto-tagged into the real actual tag for this game im very sorry for my hubris im just. thinking emoji

so id like to start this with the final boss makes me SO sad :( like yeah she doesnt have much dialogue but idk she just makes me so sad. she’s so desperate and she Knows shes going to lose and im just like. no!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you’re so cool!!!!!!! Please Be My Friend We Can Work Together. I Know A Guy :c like usually final bosses are like weirdly emotional for me but she was just SO COOL and realizing like WAIT THIS BOSS OPERATES UNDER THE SAME RULES I DO was just like WOW even if as i kept dying (and i think i spent like... 3 hrs on the final boss alone lmao the first time, i killed her on my third attempt this run which was very cool of me) i finally realized that she IS pretty repetitive and got all her patterns n variables down super easy, but like, fighting another null who Should for all intents and purposes be just as absurd and powerful as i am, and eventually being able to down her effortlessly, and then the withdrawal affects of the chronos kicking in as well, and its just like. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

dont even get me STARTED on that ‘to be continued’ like yeah there’s a dlc comin but the game mentions repeatedly that its just the first act which has me like OKAY. SPECULATION TIME (what am i speculating on? literally no idea im not even rly at the speculation phase im still in the WOW COOL VIDEO GAME phase) 

and i rly like the dragon/fifteen but the first time i saw him i was just like. who’s this f*llmetal alchemist looking bitch ??? what’s he doin here?? go HOME and controlling him is AWFUL i hate the dragon tape so MUCH >:C but also he’s like. cool. i want to know more about him n his plot 2 take down Juncture n the government n whatever. 

but also i was listen 2 Full Confession bc it’s just. what the heart wants rn. i need to be sad and caffeinated in order to get into the Writing Zone rn and then i was THINKIN like my friend mentioned while we were playing the dragon tape that the song that plays is very similar to Full Confession (which i had sent him earlier while i was losing my mind over the final boss) and then i was like. Hm. these are very similar but have such wildly different moods -- Breath of the Serpent is much more like. ‘you’re going to be afraid of me’ while Full Confession is like ‘i’m afraid of you’ and i think that the different Vibes from these two soundtrack bits about important Null characters is just like. WOW and i wonder how a version of it that was purely Zero’s might be. would it be more triumphant? more flat? what desperation or emptiness is in there that could be drawn out by this melody??? i dont KNOW and i can’t write music unfortunately but im just like AAAAAAAAAA

i also rly wanna know what snow has going on ??? like. shes clearly important. she is a vital npc. but Why. she didnt even rly do anything except Show Up???

fuck V. all my homies hate V. the motorcycle fight was a lot of fun tho i rly liked that section even if my therapist was mad at me afterwards

also i think elizabeth/the little girl is rly cute and the fact zero was just like. ‘hm. well guess i have a daughter now’ so fast w/ her (at least, with the dialogue trees me n my pal kept going down) and im just. So Hoping we can rescue her in the dlc :( i miss her so much and im so like. worried abt that like pls give me back my daughter you dumbasses i cant even read ur dialogue without my brain being like ‘yeah these r just squiggly lines, boss. gl’ 

i also want to believe that the masked men arent real (bc idk, it’s just easier for me to process that they’re the result of chronos withdrawal) but the problem w/ that is like. they definitely kidnapped elizabeth, and i want so desperately to believe that elizabeth IS real n that zero genuinely wants to protect her (and by extension, the part of himself that is still human) 

ALSO THE PSYCHIATRIST i was just like. Okay. I Must Get A Good Grade In Therapy. n kept being nice n cooperative and helpful to this clown ass and then THAT ENDING ??? like i didnt even get the Bad Therapist Ending i was just like. fucka you! attacka you with a rock! (i do however want to try the therapist boss it sounds like a lot of fun) but i just. i hate him! he sucks! find a better therapist zero u rly need one im sorry for ur problems disorder :( like hes clearly a guy who just works for the government n wants 2 keep a leash on our man 

n the contradictions, hes like. yeah ur killing everyone related to chronos so it can no longer be produced ♥ but dw ur special we totally wont just withhold chronos from you as soon as u finish ur tasks dw about it ♥ and its like. Hm. I Dont Think Thats Right !!!! 

also i wanna learn more about what Juncture has going on??? what are they like. Doing besides poisoning water n making lighters ?????? it’s clearly a lot 

also the art for this game is just so GOOD,,, like. i didnt rly notice a lot of the backgrounds my first playthrough bc i was just losing my mind the whole time trying to solve each puzzle but the second playthrough im just like. AAAAA. and the soundtrack? effervescent. groundbreaking. perfect. So Good 

and the GAMEPLAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh my GOD i was SO vibing with it, the difficulty curve was kinda extreme imo but as soon as i started like. Getting It? and started looking at each room less like combat/fighting and more like a puzzle that needed to be solved it made it so much easier 2 get into the headphase of ‘okay how do i clear this’ and it was just like. YOOOOOOOO

and zero is just a lot of fun 2 play as. legitimately everything about him is just so ridiculous. his dialogue options? ridiculous. his design? absurd. the implications that hes like. 22 and just having the worst 10 days of his life? mood, buddy. this guy likes samurai movies and card games and mushroom pizza and has worn the same outfit every single day for who knows how long and hes also a war veteran, an emotionless serial killer and a drug addict. and hes 22 and 5′10. literally NOTHING about those traits make sense together but here he is, just Vibing.

Now the OPPOSITE, list everything why your muse could not be so interesting (even if you may not agree, what does the fandom perhaps think?).   —  he’s the protagonist, he’s too nice, too likable, and he might be, from some perspectives, super overpowered. a lot of his flaws are issues that come with a lot of protagonist characters, like selflessness to a fault, recklessness, a desire to help no matter the cost, etc., and it might come across as overdone or unoriginal for someone like him.

What inspired you to rp your muse?  —  twipri has been my favorite video game of all time since i first played it the xmas after it came out, when i was 7. it was an unbelievably huge influence on my life, and got me through a whole lot of shit i’d have to go through up until i was a teenager. it was a constant for me, a comfort. and link, being the protagonist, was of course the center of it. i connected to him really hard, and becoming him whenever i played the game was like magic to me as a kid. honestly, i dont know why i didnt write him until this year, because he’s been such an easy headspace for me to slip into for years. ig i just figured it was about time? id already written both tp zel and midna at separate points, so it was only right to complete the trio ksjfgh

What keeps your inspiration going?  —  the game itself, its soundtrack, art, linked universe and its little fandom, and you guys! just seeing all of your posts and your passion for loz and its characters helps fuel the love i have for it too!

If someone disagrees with your portrayal, how would you take it?  —   i?? dunno??? i guess i’d just tell them to unfollow. i’m not here to write link the way you think he should be written, i’m here to write him the way i want to.

If someone really hates your character, how do you take it?  —  hkljfg does anyone hate link??? like. he’s link. he’s neutral at worst. but it’s not my business if someone hates him, so to each their own ig

Are you okay with people pointing out your grammatical errors?  —  mm i don’t mind it, but i don’t really see the point. rp is a form of writing that doesn’t need much editing, and when it does, we are our own editors, so of course we’re going to make mistakes and overlook them. english is a complicated and hard language, and typos/misspellings/grammar errors happen and it’s not a big deal

Do you think you are easy going as a mun?   —  yes!! i’m a very laid-back person in general i think, and of course i have things i won’t tolerate and i’ll speak up when i need to, but at the end of the day rp is a hobby, and it’s something we do to have fun, and i know that having fun is the most important part of doing this. though, sometimes i think my anxiety & fear of confrontation might make me a little too lenient on things like my own rules tho kjfhg

6 and 30 ??

This is gonna be a little weird to post on my main but I guess my art blog is now under the blands control for a bit soo uh whatever~

6. Tell us about a setting/world you’ve created!

I did have a world-building post somewhere tho, it’s probably horribly outdated and I’m kinda scared to look into it now but I will take the pics from it because they are still relevant.  

So the thing is that each planet in the universe is a part of this cube system, its metaphorical obviously just to visualize the possible paths between the planets that in reality are scattered across the galaxy. Each “cube” consists of 27 planets divided into 3 levels, they share similar energy aka have similar beings living on them and similar ecosystems. The planets can connect through breaches with their neighbors(so B5 could connect with B2 but not with B1 or B3), first with the ones on their own level and later with the other two (it’s usually the middle 5th planet that connects first in this case but that’s not really relevant cuz that doesn’t happen during any of my plots). 

The breaches usually appear naturally just by themselves and are later turned into public paths and can even have highways going through them. They mostly open when planets are old enough yet it can happen at any point. They can also be enforced by technology, but it’sss kindaa dangerous. Obviously. So there’s the Watchman(that’s the red dipshit Howard here) who is this demi-god like being that is supposed to waTCH Over and make sure that everything goes nice and smoothly and that all planets are cool with each other. Each cube has it’s own Watchman, they are basically immortal but can be temporarily destroyed, during this time the other Watchman appears. Howard lives in his own pocket Delta Dimension. 

In canon Beta5 is connected with Beta4, and later Beta4 connects with Beta7. The fact that Beta8, the home planet of the Greyhounds(u know the spiky ears, shiny eyes) is not connected with any other planet is like the main conflict lol. Also, everyone is aware of this system, so there’s no oohh mann it’s alieenss,, Actually, everyone on the Beta level can be called a human, that counts for the Greyhounds too but they just have a name for themselves anyway. 

Beta5 is this main planet plot-wise, it’s very earth-like, but it’s just a one big continent mass and there’s no division on countries, etc. They kinda treat Beta4 like a different continent rather than a different planet and they have been connected for like over 200 years. Most of my OCs are from Beta5 tho. People from Beta4 are not that much different, they mostly really like color green I guess?? (see: Audrey and Gabe, then there’s Gordon who just went. I’m blue now and yall can’t stop me). Beta4 is also slightly more advanced and industrialized than its neighbor. 

Meanwhile, Beta8 is on friggin fire. Huge parts of the landmass were destroyed by the constant meteor showers and sunk into the ocean that it’s also partially lavA because of the volcanic activity and earthquakes and there are also acid rains and oh man this is not looking good huh, and the rest is barely habitable. The sky is almost permanently covered with dust that stops the sunlight. The good thing is that their species was already adjusted to long nights so they are somehow managing the situation, but there’s also that oh noo no stars :’’’’’C  Nevertheless, they are super advanced so maybe they will somehow get out of this situation. Literally. [cue Tim Roswell]

Oh yeah, right they are also at civil war “because” of Roswell. 

Greyhounds do not have electric powers, but they are mostly immune to electricity and can conduct it in a way. Roswell uses a special gauntlet with which he can shock people or create electric barriers, while Nekor is an ex-medic and his gloves are way way weaker than Tims(yet still dangerous to B5 humans), but for example, Oscar does not use any sort of shock gloves but has special “electric knives” with which he can redirect the electricity. I thought that I could clear that out because I’m not sure if it was obvious or not?? ?

I don’t have any other map right now, but I thought that I might throw it in here because I really never talked about that before. The colors represent territories under different influences: yellow - Eos(that’s Roswells Lab, he’s in charge of everything to put it short), purple - The North Lab( Simmone’s lab, I did not post her yet tho but she was in @lavend-ler ‘s fic shameless promo [x], she was hesitant about joining forces with Roswell but they are cool now, her lab is responsible for the force field around the planet that is supposed to stop the meteorites), blue -  Dyne Labs (run by a pair of twins named Ria and Kim, they are Roswells and Rylands old friends, they do lots of different research also humanitarian work), green - Valiant(responsible for agriculture, run by an older guy named Everest that totally doesn’t like Roswell).

a fun fact: my other ocs(the animal ones) also use this cube system, but are mostly from the Alpha Level 

30. Tell us about an OC whose personality is totally different than when you started out with them!

I’m gonna go with an easy answer here and just say Vincent. He was this classic /stoic, impatient, dont talk to me im angy, smoking detective/ type and now he’s just /i would die for you/ with the most used phrase being /are you alright?/ and * adopts all of the children* trope

why so selective?  because while these are all muses im excited to write about, a good handful of them i chose specifically because i dont see them elsewhere on tumblr but would like to, rather than necessarily having the usual ‘muse’ to write them. therefore i mean to keep them within a smaller circle of interaction. this is also my first true multi (and writing sideblog) and i’m keeping it super chill. i’m going to be pretty much unconcerned with consistent activity, aesthetics posts, memes, etc. plainly said, this blog is mostly meant for people i already write with / talk to regularly.

special notes:  i’ve got the memory of a peanut. im re-watching ds9 but don’t hesitate to point out or remind me about arcs or moments i might’ve slipped up on with any of these guys or in other series. there is.......... a lot of trek out there, these are quite a few muses for me to keep track of, and most of what ive seen, ive only seen once so far. i’m best rehearsed on odo’s storyline, obviously, and the lines that branch from it.

general muse notes:  instead of writing about pages or anything like that, i think i’m gonna link little ‘spotlight’ posts with blog-specific hc info for each muse as i go. alternatively, if you’re less familiar with ds9 and have questions about anyone here, i’m always happy to give a quick run down : )

i’m also going to experiment with writing largely in a single verse, meaning that if ur muse gossips to o’brien, quark might get wind of it. this extends to odo over on constablegoo. unless it’s plotted out among us, though, i won’t cross those things over with other writers, if that makes sense -- and i’ll never surprise you with some major twist without talking to you first, ie someone accidentally learning something they really shouldnt. the basic idea is that news and rumors travel fast around ds9, and it might be fun to play with that aspect of things, even if its just in throwaway lines. ask me if you’ve got questions or let me know if you prefer me not to do this with your muse.

i’m open to playing around with changing or switching muses mid-thread as a plot may need, and i’m always happy to write in npcs, etc. i’ll write in other reoccurring ds9 characters in supporting/cameo roles from time to time as well, including unlisted ones at my discretion. ogh thats really difficult, i think currently im a little fixated on Mars (31 and also my pfp) - generally i have a preference towards my protagonists - Loren and Michaels have a special place in my heart (1 and 2)

3. Have you ever adopted a character or gotten a character from someone else?

Kind of? Loren and Lukas (1 and 4) are technically Lori’s characters originally but they’re from a joint project that’s had so much sharing we just have joint custody over all TWW characters

4. A character you rarely talk about?

More like characters that hardly get development I guess, Charlie (8), Diana (33), Viena (34), Onna (35), I have a lot of ocs there’s definitely a lot I don’t talk about much, especially because i’m not super open about my ocs as theyre all from projects.

5. If you could make only one of your OCs popular/known, who would it be?

everyone should know about Loren (ft his sister Jocelyn in the first one)

I have to do both Loren and Michaels, they’re TWW’s protagonists as well as evolutions on mine and Lori’s original self inserts from like 2009, theyre not self inserts anymore theyre so different from how they started but they are 100% a symbol of our friendship of what is it like 13-15 years now?? i don’t even know

20. Do any of your OCs sing? If they sing, care to share more details (headcanon voice, what kind of songs they like etc)?

I forget if Milo (3) can still sing or not, he used to be able to but i forget if that got retconned

Kitkat (5) absolutely can and he’s by far the best at it, he’s probably the most musical character, he has a keyboard and he composes a little bit. I think he likes pretty contemporary kind of music, poppy, dancy kind of stuff, standard 2009 feel good internet stuff idk.

I think Lukas (4) can sing too? He plays guitar and is a bit musical but I don’t know if he’s really a singer

Oh lmao Sundae Stellar (22) is a literal popstar so she can probably sing I FORGOT ABOUT HER (i think kitkats still better but its probably close)

21. Your most artistic OC

Probably Winter (6) she’s the most online character out of everyone and has a habit of shipping her classmates and drawing fanart of them/writing fanfiction about them but she’s kind of decent at it

22. Is there any OC of yours people tend to mischaracterize? If yes, how?

not a lot of people know my ocs but I think people tend to think Saye (9) is like, kind of grumpy/moody because she usually has a very neutral expression but she’s not, she’s actually intentionally designed that way so it’s not a problem.

23. Introduce OC that has changed from your first idea concerning what the character would be like?

a lot of TWW characters are like that just because they’ve been around for so long and the writing style of a 14 year old and a 26 year old are very different.

though there is Myrkailat (28) who used to be a completely different character named Summer Sol. Summer was the spirit of the ocean and summer but she kind of didn’t have much of a role in anything so i repurposed part of her design (mostly the water hair) into Myrkailat, the (nonbinary) god of storms (they are very cranky as any god of storms in the PNW would be expected to be)

OH I’m dumb i totally just thought of another one, Estelle (13) was originally COMPLETELY different, now she’s a bookstore owner and an author and a researcher on magical stuff in STSR’s universe but originally she was a GODDESS who basically spoke to saye telepathically and like told her what to do and was like an antagonist? and her hair was straight and she had this long silk dress on - STSR just used to be a very different story

24. If you could meet one OC of yours, who would it be and why?

I don’t think id want to meet any of them because it would be really awkward but uh maybe... Milo (3)... for reasons

A lot of them have little pieces of me, Saye is a lot like me because she’s sort of a vessel for a lot of feelings I’ve had, not really a current version of me but still. Decos is a lot like me for reasons i mentioned in the last question and Mars is too for similar reasons but he’s got a bit more that are more personal. I try to keep ocs from being too close to me though

26. Have you ever had to change your OC’s design or something else about them against your will?

definitely, i cant think of any specific examples but i run into kill your darlings ALL THE TIME. a lot of changes i make are for the sake of realism though (not straight realism but more like accuracy or um flow? idk, but thats something i care about a lot)

27. Any OCs that were inspired by a certain song?

Technically yes, Saye (9) and STSR as a whole were inspired by Stars in their Eyes by Just Jack (a song i dont really like that much tbh) more the title than the actual lyrics (i have a thing where i cant really process lyrics most of the time)

It made me want to draw a random girl that had bright sparkly eyes but looked fucking exhausted and had dark circles under her eyes

28. Your most dangerous OC?

Nieyamaso (20) she is the “goddess of devouring” in STSR’s universe and was so bent on destroying humanity that she had to be sealed away by other gods though even THAT did not completely stop her because before she was banished to the dream realm she created a race of basically vampires called the Nyesay to wipe out humanity in her absense (this did not go down for reasons you probably wouldn’t expect but still) AND despite being banished she can still do magical favors for anyone who offers her a blood sacrifice

29. Which one of your OCs would go investigate an abandoned house at night without telling anyone they’re going?

The majority of them, for one reason or another i struggle to think of any that wouldn’t lmao

30. Which one of your OCs would most likely have a secret stuffed animal collection?

I don’t think any of them would have a “secret” stuffed animal collection but maybe one of the most unexpected to be into stuffed animals is Saye (9) who is a big Hibi (26) fan

I can see Lukas keeping stuffed animals in a collection if people gave them to him though, like if Loren would regularly get him a dog plushie and be like LOOK IT LOOKS LIKE YOU LMAO hed be like no it doesnt! and then keep it somewhere. I don’t think that happens but his personality would allow it to happen.

Winter (6) is most likely to have a tumblr blog, and a specifically curated one at that, she actually would probably have multiple, a personal one for writing about and stalking Loren and Michaels, an aesthetic one, and a fandom one. I’m not sure what her taste is at present (2009) she leans a bit scene but i don’t know if shed convert to pastel over time or not, i try not to think about TWW characters in the future. no one else would probably even know what tumblr is though.

Maybe Saye would. I feel like shes in weird spaces online though like neopets forums or something.

Mentioned the OC sharing between me and Lori before though we both have “custody” Loren (1) was originally hers and Michaels (2) was originally mine, they are friends.

MANY of them are not but I will just talk about Mauvi Sancay (10) who is probably one of the most obvious Nyesay characters, usually nyesay like to appear as human as possible but Mauvi prefers to look like whatever this is, during the initial story of STSR she changes colors every day 

She’s very interested in fashion and though she isn’t that open about it absolutely resents having to kill for a living, she’s also super gay (as nyesay tend to be) and obsessed with protecting girls

Sundae (22) because that’s what she does for a living, the only other character that actively dances is Loren (1) and im not sure if hes good or bad at it, it depends on what the situation needs

Gonna talk about some moms because I haven’t mentioned them much

Xanthe (16) is Mauvi’s (10) mom and is both a very traditional type of person and an absolute pacifist, she and Mauvi disagree a lot both on Mauvi’s appearance and about Mauvi’s hunting habits (there’s this whole thing about vampire politics but there’s too much to explain here i think i have a wiki somewhere if you really want to dig into that) She’s 60+ and though she doesn’t understand human customs much from spending a lot of her life away from them she likes them very very very much.

Ione is Mauvi’s (10) other mother and Xanthe’s late wife, Mauvi takes the most after her, she was very opinionated and maybe in the rest of her family’s opinion (besides Mauvi) recklessly revolutionary (an avid hunter but did so as statements most of the time, which Mauvi also does but in a different way, Ione refused to hunt “easy” targets aka the poor - I said before vampire politics is complicated so im not really gonna get into it)

last thing i’ll say is there is a reason the Sancays don’t live close to civilization anymore.

LAST MOM OF MY MOM OCs (thats not true but the last one i wanna talk about)

Tsona Shesion (29/36) Is a mom but not in the instance you meet her in STSR, she is 26 (nyesay cant reproduce until 30 years old which is kind of fucked up but nieyamaso accidentally nerfed them too hard) and she lives in an abandoned library in the forest (this forest is basically a character itself but where was i gonna be able to mention that in this meme) and she is the future leader of a cult which seeks to release Nieyamaso from the dream realm and fulfill her intended purpose of wiping out humanity :)

A lot of TWW ones, most of TWW stuff is inspired by stuff me and Lori did when we were in like 8th grade but it’s more of stuff that we’ve incorporated into the lives of characters like Loren (1) and Michaels (2) always hang out at this small town barely used laundromat which is something we used to do, and tresspassing is also something we used to do a lot... doing pranks, general mischief as teens do

42. Which one of your OCs would be the most interested in Greek gods?

I think probably Michaels (2/25) in STSR’s lore he moved with his family to Italy?? for his final year of high school (his family is rich) and he studies I think classical art?? Not sure but he’s developing into a bit of a history nerd so if there’s anyone it’d be him. 

43. Do you have any certain type when you create your OCs? Do you tend to favour some certain traits or looks? It’s time to confess

Very hard to not just continously make characters with pink hair

Also having hair that like flips out is something I do a lot

Usually when I make a new oc it’s bc I’m like oh there’s a hairstyle I’ve never done before (i like to draw hair a lot) but there’s tropes like i do the same style of bangs a lot

It’s like they were made for me (they were)

I like that I’ve got different feelings about almost all of them, I’ve got ocs i love, ocs i hate, ocs i have very complicated feelings about. they arent always there to bring me joy, sometimes they exist to cause me pain and i think thats a good thing. 

Theyre all very expressive and fun to draw too

45. A character you no longer use?

Oh lets see if i still have art of him, oh god that’s super old art, i dont like that

anyway this is Malachi? is that how you spell that? anyway he was the “best friend” character for Saye before I ultimately decided to just steal Loren (this was before TWW got rebooted lmao) 

He’s basically Loren (silly boy foil to mostly neutral protagonist) except instead of being a fish out of water who needs things to be explained to him he’s a spirit boy who generally the SOURCE of exposition

I was 18 at the time and had never written anything before so i think the end result is probably a lot better

Looks like i took some of his design elements and used them for Tuenti (14) though 

Well actually more like he got fused with another old OC named Ariel

Ogh 2013 that’s painful ow i dont like that

Gonna talk about everyone from the main group that I haven’t mentioned yet because I feel bad

Maddie (7) is Lukas’s friend, they are both new kids at school though Maddie is slightly less new than Lukas. She lives on a farm and has a rescued wolfdog who is kind of ambigiously a pet and not a pet, her name’s Cup. She likes mysteries but not so much in the way everyone else does but more that she like exploration and discovery than like, gossip type of stuff, but she does also like to occasionally “see what happens”. She likes archeology and geology and stuff like that. She’s very nice and polite and often gets marked as the “mom friend” just because she’s usually doting on lukas but its really just because hes such a disaster he needs it.

Lol these are the only pics I have of Tuenti (14) I have?? These are storyboards from the last chapter of STSR (btw storyboards are totally free to read if anyone wants to, im working on the final product but i like the storyboards too)

Tuenti is kind of unfortunately more of a plot device than a character, he’s kind of to me like if Saye had a Saye oc of her own to dump a whole bunch of feelings and idiocy into, he does have goals and stuff going on but he’s very generically “the antagonist” and thats about it

Markus (15) is also there in my storyboards (holding a knife) he’s probably honestly MORE of the storys antagonist than Tuenti is but he doesnt really affect like, the world itself so he’s not much of a priority, he does carry a weird amount of emotional weight with him though. hes the guy who THINKS hes the protagonist and thats all ill say about that

(this is not a final page either) but the dragon (18) is The Grandfather Dragon, his other name is kaizeyal but no one knows that, hes the creator of all the other gods and spirits in the world hes basically just a big ball of magic and he does nothing the entire story

Yumetsa (19) is his wife (i dont think he created her, there WAS a god of magic before him and i think shes old enough to have spawned from that god back when kaizeyal was just a sky god) is the goddess of dreams and illusion, she resides in the dream realm and idk what she does or wants she doesnt make sense shes just confusing all the time

shes the antagonist of the rpg

Princess Yanon (21) and Sundae Stellar (22) are the children of the Dragon and Yumetsa (very different art styles there alright) they both live in a tower and protect the Dragon, Yanon stands on a balcony during the day and addresses the cult that worships her father, she can communicate with him telepathically (though he rarely has anything to say) Sundae is a popstar who performs in front of the tower at night which has like a hypnotic affect on the crowd I guess and she throws knives at anyone who tries to approach the tower while Yanon and the Dragon are asleep
