Rose Lens Phenomenon: An effect of chemicals inhibiting the brain’s ability to process certain signals from our retinas, the affected may experience loss of color vision, limited color vision, blurriness, brightness, and even darkness in vision when the brain recognizes particular individuals the affected knows. While relatively harmless, the sudden change in vision can be disorienting to some, and may cause emotional distress.
