Hey y'all. Sorry I haven't been posting. I haven't really felt like shifting in a while. Until now, of course.
Anyways, if you're tired of Drove POVs for your wing shifts, why not try flying through the Solar System?

Hello, creatures, beasts, and beings from the Clock App. I welcome you all with open paws, and I sincerely hope you find a place on this site with the rest of the wonderful Therians, Alterhumans, and Nonhumans that have already made their home here. That being said, I ask you to remember the definition of Therianthropy: "When one identifies as an animal in some way."
I will not tolerate anyone who decides that the ones who identify as animals are not welcome as Therians in our own community. You will not be welcomed on my blog, and you will be promptly blocked. If you welcome the community with open paws, I'm sure you'll find peace with the original definition of Therianthropy, and perhaps you'll find new titles such as Otherlink. There are many terms out there. See what you can dig up! Remember to rest your paws, brush your fur and fangs, preen your feathers, eat food, and hydrate. Don't get trapped in a starving doomscroll. You won't feel nice afterwards. Filter posts by tags and content in your settings to avoid all sorts of unwanted posts. It's a great feature. And most importantly, make your blog your home. I'm so excited to meet all sorts of new beasts and beings who are finding a new home after the ban! I will be more active now, as a result. I've taken a short hiatus to adjust to a new workplace, so affirmations have been slow and few. I look to change this starting immediately. I would also like to note that you can now request poetry of your 'type! I've been working on this for a while now, and I would love to write some poetic pieces as well as affirmations and general advice.
Beasts and beings, young and old, there are new friends to be made, and a community to grow. Let's get it started! -Your Therian Parent

I am once again fucking begging the community to stop writing everything other than identify-as identities out of the word alterhuman and now fictionfolk too
Alterhuman does not mean everyone who identifies as nonhuman on some level (oh and maybe otherhearted people too). Please for the love of all that is good and holy stop saying that. It means anyone whose identity falls outside of society’s idea of “normal human” - anyone with an identity alternative to humanity or that’s an alternative form of humanity. It includes nonhumanity, yes, but also otherheartedness, hearthomes, archetropy, plurality, daemonism, furry lifestylers, othervague folks, constelics, and so much more. Here’s the coiner’s words to prove it.
Fictionfolk does not mean anyone who identifies as a fictional character. It means anyone with an alterhuman connection to fiction of any kind. It includes fictionkin and fictives and such, yes, but also fictional hearthomes, fictionheartedness, soulbonders, fictional vaguetypes, fictional constelics, and much more. Here’s the coiner’s words to prove it.
To collapse these words down to basically be synonymous with otherkin and fictionkin is to utterly defeat their purpose. Please stop defining us out of our own communities. Please stop erasing the existence of everyone outside of “identifies as nonhuman and/or fictional”.
EDIT: boy I wish someone had told me I accidentally used the same link twice before this hit triple digit notes LMAO. Here’s the actual fictionfolk link

Okay so since I'm hearing that there's apparently an influx of newbies who may need some terminology explained...
Here's a list of some terms and their definitions. It should be noted that I am not a greymuzzle/ veteran of the alterhuman community in any way, so I may be wrong about some things, so I ask that if any peeps noticed something wrong, feel free to correct us. Same applies to questions!
Let's get into it!
Alterhuman - Catch-all term for anyone who experiences are "other" than human. Includes all nonhuman identities, as well as furries and some other voidpunk-related identities I believe? Might need to be corrected about that.
Nonhuman - Specifically anyone who doesn't consider themselves entirely or mostly human. Includes otherkin, therian, etc
Therian - An involuntary identity where someone believes that they're an animal, whether psychologically, spiritually or any other reason. It should be noted that there may be a slight overlap with therians and otherkins, but there's a slight difference. You'll see in a bit.
Theriomythic- Similar to therians but for mythological creatures.
Otherkin - An involuntary identity where someone believes that they're a being of some kind, similar to therian. The difference between therians and otherkins is that therians are usually non-sapient animals, while otherkin is more general, including sapient beings and even things other than animals, like plants for instance!
Fictionkin - A specific subset of otherkin where one involuntarily believes that they're a fictional character or species. For example, I'm an Aven (Worldless) fictionkin!
Fictive - An alter based on a fictional character.
Otherhearted - When one feels heavily connected to something and it is involuntary.
Hearthome - When one feels heavily connected to a certain place and it is involuntary. This connection is quite intense and usually involves a desperate longing to return to that place.
Copinglink/ otherlink/ [Blank]link - A voluntary identity where one is something other than human. Yep! There's an identity where YOU can choose what you want to be! Despite the name, it may not necessarily be related for coping.
Shifts - When one feels more in-sync with their 'type; Like phantom shifts involves feeling the limbs that their 'type has, mental shifts involves getting a mindset more like that 'type, etc.
Theriotype/ fictotype/ [Blank]type - Basically what species/ who you are. I believe the otherkin version is [blank]kin if I'm not mistaken.
Greymuzzle - Basically a veteran of sorts; someone who has been in the Alterhuman community for many years.
I might be missing out some terms, so feel free to add onto this!

🪄How did you discover being kin? For the ask game!
@kinematical
Hmmmm... Well, I can't really remember but I did know that I used to browse through the alterhuman tags (Possibly because I was curious) and then realised that most of my experiences fit there.
At first, I thought I was a Thunder manifestation (Genshin) kin, but something always felt a bit off about it.
Then I figured out what my true 'type was when I learnt about Worldless, saw Aven and basically went "Wait that's me!" So... yeah!

Also I forgot but said feathers were also somewhat iridescent! Like they don't normally show colour when I was in normal lighting or anything, but if I was in particularly strong lighting, it'll look more bluish with green and purple iridescence like the Northern Lights-
That used to be really pretty-

Also I just randomly remembered that I probably didn't mention the feathers-
So yeah, my Aven 'type has feathers all over the body save for face, hands and talons, the latter two which have scales on the underside and fur-like feathers on top.
Basically the vast majority is regular body feathers while my lower limbs have fur-like feathers. I also had throat feathers like a raven, as well as hackle feathers-
And yes. My "hair" was also apparently feathers-
