Worldless is turning One year old tomorrow. An entire year of watching this little obscure, cool-looking game I saw in an All bosses compilation on YouTube, gain an absolutely wonderful, supportive fandom. Of getting so much love and support from everyone, even when things seemed hopeless.

An entire year of making things that didn’t go unnoticed, of making things that brought me genuine joy, and brought joy to others. An entire year of me seeing people make the most drop-dead gorgeous fanworks for this game. An entire year of making new friends, learning new cultures and learning to live again.

An entire year where I finally, finally felt like I’m someone.

Genuinely, thank you so much. Thank you Mystic for finally cracking that Shell of Worthlessness I felt, for being the Edda to my Aven, and for supporting me through Thick and Thin. Thank you Sqarlet for making the more amazing art, offering amazing ideas and for offering guidance for when I’m not too sure what to do. Thank you Indie for cheering me up, for being a radiant, positive force against a seemingly bleak future.

Thank you Peep, for being the very first person who kickstarted this adventure for me, and thank you NoName for creating a game that somehow managed to hit so deeply into my soul, a game that felt like an odd reflection of my wishes; A wish to feel like I had a true counterpart, and to survive through many hardships not alone.

Now I’m not alone, nor a weird person who yaps a lot about games no one likes besides me. I have people who share the same interests as me, I don’t feel alone anymore.

… It was an odd feeling to get used to, I even felt like things were supposed to go awry at times. Yet you lot were the most accepting, kindest people I’ve ever seen.

You all are having a hard time so it's time to chill out. Get some of your favourite drinks and snacks, watch a comfort film or play a comfort game, and rest yourself tonight. Everything will be okay, nothing is going to hurt any one of you and you will survive. I know it.

I know times are tough, and that everything is looking bleak and dark in terms of... Well, everything. But listen to me: You have lived through so much already, you have survived despite all odds. You're a miracle and you're amazing. You'll live to see another day, week, month, year and decade. You'll survive any hardship that comes your way. You got this, I know you do.

And even if things seem terrible, always remember that there's someone who loves you; who waits for your voice (or text) every day, someone who loves to talk to you and thinks about you when they're sad, who gets excited to see your work. Remember that there's things to see and learn. Remember that this world is a world worth fighting for.

When. When Aven decides to spoil himself of the true ending and now he's getting thoughts (tm)-

NOT BUT SERIOUSLY. No one is talking about potential for speculative fanfictions (That's a word I'm gonna use. I'm not even sure if it's an actual term-) in regards with the true ending. Like. Listen to me-

The fact that it's implied that the ending is basically the beginning of human civilization. Like. Imagine the modern day equivalent of Nine Sols! Earth. How different will it be from our world? Would there be any differences at all?

Would the solarians be remembered somehow? Would the real-world myths be different in this setting? Would the solarians' impact cause myths to be different?

Also, what's going on in Penglai? What species are there? How is that world faring without the solarians? Would a new species of sophont pop up, or are there several intelligent species? Imagine the ruins of the solarians still visible, decaying but still unmistakably there. A ghost haunting the present.

Also the fact that Kaufu is an endling. Like what happened to him after the story? What about Shaunshaun? I am so intrigued by the aftermath and I feel mildly sad that no one made any sort of... AU I guess? Like, the potential is there-

I have been having barely any sleep because of this thing-

Like the sheer stress it's causing me is insane. Like I know I am not dying, I was stressed out for a while so this is to be expected but... I'm scared! What if I end up dying because of this (We won't, it's not blood lost from an injury and we aren't experiencing any unusual symptoms besides the length)??? What if actually not my period but an injury or something (No, it is not an injury because we would have noticed it when checking, plus there is no other odd symptoms besides the length, which can be explained by stress)???

Like I'm tired. I'm tired of this. I just want to cry and sleep and scream and all sorts of things, but I don't want them to think that I AM in danger because that's not true; it's only a little bit now and it might go sometime this week. But it's giving me hell since I'm panicking because I keep thinking I'm bleeding to death even though it's light!!!! I'm tired, I'm so tired of this whole ordeal-
