Hi! sending good vibes. whatcha listening to lately, and/or have you heard any new songs that vibe with the anisquad?
Thank you! Off the top of my head:
Jake - "And So It Went," The Pretty Reckless
They said: the world does not belong to you/ It don't belong to you/ It belongs to me And so it went/ The children lost their minds/ Crawlin' over bodies of those who gave their lives/ And the fists began to throw/ And the bough's about to break/ Don't they think we know/ We're the fuckin human race?
Marco - "All the Good Girls Go to Hell," Billie Eilish
Hills burn in California/ My turn to ignore ya/ Don't say I didn't warn ya/ All the good girls go to hell/ 'Cause even God herself has enemies/ And once the water starts to rise/ And Heaven's out of sight/ She'll want the Devil on her team My Lucifer is lonely/There's nothing left to save now/ My God is gonna owe me/ There's nothing left to save now
Cassie - "March, March," The Chicks
March, march to my own drum/ Hey, hey, I'm an army of one/ Oh, I'm an army of one Tell the ol' boys in the white bread lobby/ What they can and can't do with their bodies/ Temperatures are risin', cities are sinkin'/ (Ah, cut the shit, you know your city is sinkin')/ Lies are truth and truth is fiction/ Everybody's talkin', who's gonna listen?
Rachel - "So Fast, So Maybe," K. Flay
Little did I know shit would get this gnarly/ This quickly/ I hardly/ Had time to think... So you better get used to the pace of things/ Cause basically, it's like stress non-stop/ From the moment that you're born to the moment that you drop/ Well, at least when you're dead you could get a little peace in the head... caught a glimpse of the action/ Since that day, I felt the passion/ Don't just talk, go make it happen
Tobias - "Both Sides Now," Joni Mitchell
Rows and floes of angel hair/ And ice cream castles in the air/ And feather canyons everywhere/ I've looked at clouds that way But now they only block the sun/ They rain and snow on everyone/ So many things I would have done/ But clouds got in my way I've looked at clouds from both sides now/ From up and down, and still somehow/ It's cloud illusions I recall/ I really don't know clouds at all
Ax - "The Truth Beneath the Rose," Within Temptation
Give me strength to face the truth, the doubt within my soul/ No longer I can justify the bloodshed in his name/ Is it a sin to seek the truth, the truth beneath the rose? I believed it would justify the means/ It had a hold over me I'm hoping, I'm praying/ I won't get lost between two worlds/ For now I have seen the truth lies between/ Give me the strength to face the wrong that I have done/ For now I see the darkest side of me

summary: you invite your boyfriend max to spend christmas with you for the first time, however, your family doesn't quite believe you're dating a formula 1 world champion. wc: 5.8k
folkie radio: HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OF YOUUUU! i hope you're having the best day ever with your loves ones. this fic ended up being longer than i intended but i hope you like it!
MASTERLIST | MY PATREON
You're nestled into Max's side on his couch, wrapped in the soft throw blanket he keeps specifically for these quiet moments together. The afternoon light filters through the floor-to-ceiling windows of his Monaco apartment, casting a glow across the room. Your feet are tucked under you, and you can smell the lingering scent of the coffee you both made earlier.
The Netflix show you'd put on - some random documentary about deep-sea creatures - has become mere background noise. Max's fingers are threading through your hair in that gentle way that always makes you melt, occasionally stopping to massage your scalp. .
"I can't believe the season's actually over," you murmur, tracing lazy patterns on his arm. "Feels weird not having to plan around race weekends anymore."
Max chuckles, the sound rumbling through his chest where your head rests. "Yeah, but now we have to plan around all the end-of-year events instead. Did you see how many galas and ceremonies are coming up?"
"At least those don't involve you flying halfway across the world," you tease, tilting your head to look up at him. His hair is slightly messy, free from its usual styling, and you resist the urge to reach up and run your fingers through it.
"True," he agrees, then glances at his phone on the coffee table. "Speaking of events, I can't believe it's already December. Christmas is going to be here before we know it. Guess time flies when you're busy winning championships."
Your heart skips a beat. This is the opening you've been waiting for. You've been thinking about this for weeks, planning how to bring it up. "Actually… I wanted to ask you something about Christmas," you start, sitting up slightly to face him better.
Max's blue eyes meet yours, curious. "What's on your mind?"
"Well…" you bite your lip, suddenly feeling nervous despite knowing there's no reason to be. "I was wondering if you'd want to spend Christmas with me and my family this year? I know we've kept things private, but I really want them to meet you, and-"
"Wait, really?" Max interrupts, his whole face lighting up with that boyish excitement that made you fall for him in the first place. "You want me to meet your family?"
You can't help but smile at his enthusiasm. "Of course I do. We've been together almost a year now, and they keep asking why I'm always smiling at my phone." You playfully poke his side. "Which is your fault, by the way."
He catches your hand, intertwining your fingers. "My fault? I'm just being my naturally charming self," he grins, then his expression turns slightly more serious. "But are you sure? I mean, won't they be surprised when you show up with, well…"
"With a four-time World Champion?" you finish for him, laughing. "Actually, my dad might pass out. He's been watching F1 since before I was born. He has no idea I've been dating his favorite driver."
Max's eyebrows shoot up. "I'm his favorite driver?"
"Don't let it go to your head," you warn playfully. "But yeah, he's got your merchandise and everything. It's actually kind of embarrassing how much he talks about you during race weekends."
Max throws his head back laughing, and you can't help but join in. "Oh God, this is going to be interesting," he says, wiping at his eyes. "What about the rest of your family?"
"Well, Mom will probably try to feed you until you burst - she's like that with everyone. And my little sister Ruby, she's seven and she's going to have so many questions. She's in that phase where she wants to know everything about everything."
"I can handle questions," Max says confidently, then hesitates. "What kind of questions are we talking about?"
You pretend to think about it. "Oh, you know, probably things like 'How fast have you ever driven?' 'Have you ever crashed?' 'Do you want to marry my sister?'"
Max nearly chokes on air at the last one, his cheeks turning slightly pink. "You're joking, right?"
"About Ruby? Nope, she has absolutely no filter," you laugh, then soften your voice. "But seriously, they're going to love you. Just be yourself - the you I know, not the racing driver everyone else sees."
He pulls you closer, pressing a kiss to your temple. "I'd love to spend Christmas with your family. I can't wait to meet them." He pauses, a mischievous glint in his eye. "Should I wear my race suit when I meet your dad?"
You swat his arm, laughing. "Don't you dare! He'll actually faint." You settle back against his chest, feeling warm and content. "Thank you for saying yes. It means a lot to me."
"Thank you for asking me," he murmurs into your hair. "I love you."
"I love you too," you respond, smiling as his arms tighten around you. The documentary continues playing, forgotten again as you both start planning for Christmas, trading ideas and jokes about how to break the news to your family.
You're sitting cross-legged on Max's bed while he's in the shower, your phone propped up against a pillow as you FaceTime your family. Your mom's face fills most of the screen, with your dad peering over her shoulder and little Ruby bouncing around trying to get a better view.
"Honey, we can barely see you. The lighting is terrible," your mom critiques, and you adjust your position slightly.
"Better?"
"Much better! Now, what's this important thing you wanted to tell us about Christmas?" Your mom asks, while Ruby shouts "Is it presents?" in the background.
You take a deep breath, trying to contain your smile. "Well, I wanted to let you know that I'm bringing someone with me this year… my boyfriend."
There's an immediate explosion of excitement. Ruby starts jumping up and down, your mom gasps dramatically, and your dad's eyebrows shoot up with interest.
"Finally!" your mom exclaims. "We've been wondering when you'd introduce him. You've been so secretive about this boyfriend of yours."
"What's his name?" Ruby pipes up, her face suddenly taking up half the screen as she pushes closer to the camera. "Is he nice? Does he like Disney movies?"
You laugh, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear. "Yes, Rubes, he's very nice. And his name is…" you pause, knowing what's coming. "Max. Max Verstappen."
There's a moment of silence before your dad bursts out laughing. "Good one, sweetheart. Now, what's his real name?"
"I'm serious, Dad. I'm dating Max Verstappen."
Your mom is trying to hold back her laughter now too. "Honey, isn't that the racing driver you and your father are always watching? The one your dad has all those caps and shirts of?"
"Yes, and I'm actually dating him," you insist, feeling your cheeks heat up.
Ruby's face scrunches up in confusion. "The fast car man? From TV?"
"The very same one, Rubes."
Your dad wipes tears from his eyes. "Come on now, what's next? Are you going to tell us you're best friends with Lewis Hamilton too?"
"Dad!" you groan, running a hand over your face. "I'm being serious! We've been dating for almost a year. I'm literally at his place right now!"
"In Monaco?" your dad asks skeptically. "Prove it."
You swing your phone around to show the familiar view of Monaco through the windows, but your dad just shakes his head. "Could be any apartment in Monaco."
"You're impossible!" you huff. "Fine, don't believe me. You'll see at Christmas."
Ruby presses her face closer to the screen again. "Will he bring his race car?"
"No, Rubes, he can't bring the race car," you say, softening your tone for your little sister. "But I promise you'll love him."
After a few more minutes of your family teasing you about your "imaginary Formula 1 driver boyfriend," you end the call with a mix of frustration and amusement. Just as you flop back onto the bed, you hear the bathroom door open and Max walks out, his hair still damp from the shower.
"How'd it go?" he asks, noticing your expression.
You let out a laugh. "They think I'm making you up. They literally don't believe I'm dating you."
Max raises his eyebrows, looking amused as he sits next to you on the bed. "Really?"
"Really. Dad laughed so hard he nearly cried. And Ruby, my little sister, just wants to know if you're bringing your race car for Christmas."
"Sorry to disappoint Ruby," he grins, then looks thoughtful. "You know, maybe we should've waited to tell them in person. The looks on their faces would've been priceless."
"Oh, don't worry," you sit up, wrapping your arms around his neck. "They'll still be priceless. Dad's going to lose it when he realizes all those times he was rambling about you during races, he was actually talking about his daughter's boyfriend."
Max laughs, pulling you closer. "What else should I know before meeting them?"
"Well, Ruby's seven and obsessed with Frozen. She'll definitely make you watch it and probably sing along too."
"I can handle that," he says confidently.
"And recite all the lines?"
"…Maybe not that."
"And act out the scenes with her?"
Max's eyes widen slightly. "What have I gotten myself into?"
You kiss his cheek. "Too late to back out now, Verstappen. You're stuck with us."
"Wouldn't have it any other way," he murmurs, pulling you in for a proper kiss. "Even if it means playing Olaf the snowman."
"Oh no, you'll definitely be playing Elsa. Ruby's very particular about casting."
The look of horror on his face makes you burst out laughing, and soon he's joining in too. As your laughter dies down, you can't help but think about how perfect this feels - being here with him, planning to spend Christmas with your family, even if they don't believe you yet. You can't wait to see their faces when you show up at their door with Max Verstappen himself.
"Hey," Max says softly, breaking into your thoughts. "What are you smiling about?"
"Just thinking about how Christmas is going to be interesting this year."
"Interesting is one way to put it," he grins. "Should I wear my race suit when we arrive?"
"Don't you dare! Dad will actually faint."
"That's kind of the point," he winks, and you grab a pillow to hit him with, both of you dissolving into laughter again.

"Let me guess, another text from 'Max Verstappen'?" your dad teases from his spot at the kitchen counter, making air quotes with his fingers. He's wearing one of his many Red Bull Racing shirts, completely oblivious to the irony.
"Actually, yes," you reply, rolling your eyes. "He'll be here soon."
Your mom chuckles while peeling potatoes. "Honey, you can just tell us who your boyfriend really is. We won't judge, even if he's not a Formula 1 champion."
"Mom, I've told you a million times-"
"LOOK!" Ruby crashes into the kitchen, pointing at the TV in the living room where they're showing highlights from the last race. "It's YN's boyfriend!" She dissolves into giggles, clearly in on what she thinks is a funny joke.
"Very funny, Rubes," you mutter, but check your phone again when it buzzes.
Max: "Just turned onto your street. Nice neighborhood 😉"
Your heart starts beating faster. "He's here," you announce, heading toward the front door.
"Oh, we're still doing this?" your dad calls after you, amused. "Should I get my Max Verstappen cap for him to sign?"
"Actually, Dad, yes, you should," you shout back, slipping on your boots.
"Sweetie," your mom starts in that gentle voice she uses when she thinks you're being ridiculous, "you don't have to-"
The sound of a car pulling up interrupts her. You open the front door and step out onto the porch, watching as Max's car comes to a stop in your driveway. Your family has crowded behind you in the doorway, probably expecting to catch you in your "lie."
Max steps out of the car, looking unfairly handsome in his dark winter coat and scarf. His face lights up when he sees you, and you don't hesitate to run down the steps toward him.
"Hi," he grins, catching you in a tight hug and lifting you slightly off your feet. "Missed you."
You hear a loud gasp behind you, followed by what sounds like your dad choking on air.
"Missed you too," you murmur against his chest before turning to face your family, keeping one arm wrapped around his waist.
The scene on your front porch is priceless. Your dad's mouth is hanging open, his face pale except for two bright red spots on his cheeks. Your mom has both hands pressed to her face in shock. Ruby is the only one moving, bouncing up and down with excitement.
"IT REALLY IS THE FAST CAR MAN!" she shrieks, breaking the silence as she barrels down the steps toward you both.
Max laughs, crouching down to her level. "Hi Ruby. Nice to finally meet you. Your sister has told me a lot about you."
"You're real!" she exclaims, poking his arm as if to make sure.
"Very real," he confirms, looking thoroughly amused.
"I… you… but…" your dad stammers, still frozen in the doorway.
"Hi, Mr. and Mrs. LN," Max says, standing back up and guiding you and Ruby toward the porch. "Thank you for having me for Christmas."
Your mom seems to snap out of her shock first. "Oh my goodness, please come in! It's freezing out here. I… oh dear… the potatoes… I should… more food… I need to…"
"Mom, breathe," you laugh, as Max follows you inside.
Your dad hasn't moved an inch, still staring at Max like he's seeing a ghost. "You're… you're actually… the Brazil overtake…"
"Dad, no F1 talk yet!" you warn. "Let him at least get his coat off first."
"Right! Yes! Coat!" your dad says frantically. "I'll take your coat! And then maybe… could you… would you mind signing my…"
"Collection?" you finish for him, smirking. "The one you thought I was making up?"
Max raises his eyebrows at you, remembering your conversation about your dad's merchandise collection.
Ruby tugs on Max's hand. "Do you want to see my Frozen dolls? And can we watch the movie? Sissy said you've never seen it!"
"Ruby, let him settle in first," your mom calls from the kitchen, where she appears to be panic-cooking. "Oh God, is the food good enough? Do Formula 1 drivers have special diets? Should I-"
"Mom, the food will be perfect," you assure her, then turn to Max. "See? I told you they'd be cool about it."
Max tries to suppress his laugh as your dad continues to stare at him in awe, your mom stress-cooks enough food to feed an army, and Ruby continues pulling on his hand.
"Very cool," he agrees, pressing a kiss to your temple. "Though I think your dad might need to sit down."
"I'm fine!" your dad squeaks, then immediately sits down heavily on the nearest chair. "Just… just give me a minute to process that my daughter is actually dating Max Verstappen and I've been accidentally talking about my future son-in-law during every race and-"
"DAD!" you exclaim, feeling your face heat up while Max chuckles beside you.
"What? I'm just saying… all those times I said 'that Verstappen boy would make someone a good husband someday' and it turns out-"
"Okay!" you interrupt loudly. "Who wants coffee? Max, come help me with coffee!"
As you drag a laughing Max toward the kitchen, you hear Ruby start explaining the entire plot of Frozen to him, your mom muttering about needing to buy more food, and your dad still talking to himself about racing statistics.
"Still think this was a good idea?" you whisper to Max.
He pulls you closer, grinning. "The best. Though you might want to tell your dad to breathe before he passes out."
"Can we build a snowman after coffee?" Ruby calls out.
"Only if Max gets to be Elsa!" you shout back, earning you a playful glare from your boyfriend.
Looking around at your slightly chaotic but loving family, and seeing how naturally Max fits into it all, you can't help but smile. This is definitely going to be a Christmas to remember.
The initial chaos has settled into a cozy scene in your living room. You're curled up on the couch next to Max, who has Ruby practically attached to his side. She hasn't stopped talking since everyone sat down, and Max, to his credit, is giving her his complete attention.
"And then Elsa makes this huge ice castle," Ruby explains, using elaborate hand gestures. "Can you drive as fast as Elsa runs up the mountain?"
"Probably faster," Max answers with a grin, making Ruby's eyes widen.
"Even in the snow?"
"Even in the snow."
Your dad, who's finally regained his ability to form complete sentences, sits in his armchair trying very hard not to bombard Max with racing questions. He keeps opening his mouth, then closing it again when you give him a warning look.
"It's okay, Dad," you laugh. "You can ask him one race question. Just one."
Your dad looks like he might cry from happiness. "The overtake in Brazil-"
"Which one?" Max asks with a playful smirk, and your dad launches into an enthusiastic discussion about racing lines and grip levels.
Your mom returns from the kitchen with a tray of hot chocolate and cookies, having finally accepted that she doesn't need to cook enough food for an entire F1 paddock. "Here we go. I hope it's okay, Max. YN mentioned you like hot chocolate."
"It's perfect, thank you," Max says warmly, accepting a mug.
Ruby immediately reaches for a cookie, then pauses. "Do race car drivers eat cookies?"
"Only the fast ones," Max whispers conspiratorially, making her giggle.
"Ruby, give Max some space to breathe," your mom says gently, noticing how your sister is practically in his lap.
"It's fine," Max assures her. "I have nephews. I'm used to it."
Ruby beams at this information. "Really? Do they like Frozen too?"
"I don't know, but I'm sure they'd love to hear your explanation of it," he says, and Ruby launches into another detailed plot summary.
You catch your mom watching the interaction with soft eyes, all her earlier panic forgotten. She meets your gaze and mouths 'He's wonderful' when Ruby isn't looking.
Your dad has moved on from Brazil to discussing tire strategies, but stops himself mid-sentence. "Sorry, I'm probably boring you. You live this stuff."
"Not at all," Max says sincerely. "It's nice talking about it with someone who understands racing. YN usually just tells me to stop being a nerd when I talk about tire compounds."
"Because you spent two hours explaining the difference between C3 and C4 compounds!" you defend yourself.
"It's fascinating stuff," your dad says eagerly, and Max nods in agreement.
"Oh no, there's two of them now," you mutter to your mom, who laughs.
Ruby tugs on Max's sleeve. "Can we watch Frozen now? Please? You promised!"
"Ruby, let Max rest a bit," your mom starts, but Max shakes his head.
"A promise is a promise," he says solemnly to Ruby. "Should we watch it now?"
Ruby squeals with delight, jumping up to get the remote. Your dad looks slightly disappointed that his racing talk is being cut short, but you can see him hiding a smile at Ruby's excitement.
"Fair warning," you whisper to Max as Ruby sets up the movie, "she knows every word. And she will sing along."
"As long as she doesn't expect me to sing," he whispers back.
"MAX!" Ruby calls, patting the spot next to her on the floor where she's arranged pillows. "You have to sit here! It's the best spot!"
Max obliges, settling down next to her while you stay on the couch, exchanging amused looks with your parents as Ruby starts the movie, already mouthing along to the opening music.
Your mom leans over to you. "I'm sorry we didn't believe you," she whispers. "He's lovely. And so good with Ruby."
"I told you," you whisper back, watching as Ruby explains to Max why Elsa has ice powers.
Your dad joins in the whispered conversation. "Think he'd sign my mug collection later?"
"Dad!"
"What? I'm just saying, Christmas cards would be sorted for the next few years…"
You're about to respond when Ruby shushes you all loudly. "This is the best part!"
Max catches your eye and winks, clearly enjoying himself despite being roped into a Disney movie viewing with a very enthusiastic seven-year-old commentator. Your heart swells watching him with your family, how naturally he fits in, how gentle he is with Ruby.
"Do you want to build a snowman?" Ruby starts singing along with the movie.
"Later, Rubes," you promise. "Let's watch the movie first."
She nods seriously, then turns to Max. "Pay attention to this part. It's very important."
"I won't miss a second," he promises, and Ruby beams at him before turning back to the screen.
Your mom reaches over and squeezes your hand, giving you a knowing look. Even your dad has stopped thinking about racing long enough to appreciate the moment – his youngest daughter sharing her favorite movie with your boyfriend, who happens to be the F1 driver he's been fan-boying over for years.
It's perfect, you think, watching your family and Max together. Different from how you imagined telling them, but perfect nonetheless.
"Shh!" Ruby whispers loudly. "Elsa is about to sing Let It Go!"
Max shoots you a slightly panicked look as Ruby starts to stand up, clearly ready to perform the whole number. You just grin and shrug. After all, you did warn him about the singing.
Later that evening, you finally manage to steal a moment alone with Max. Ruby had fallen asleep during the third replay of Frozen, and your parents took her up to bed before retreating to the kitchen to finish some Christmas preparations.
You find Max on the back porch, leaning against the railing and looking up at the stars. The winter air is crisp, and you can see his breath forming little clouds in the darkness. Quietly, you step out and wrap your arms around him from behind, pressing your cheek against his back.
"Hey," he says softly, turning in your arms to face you. His hands find their way to your waist, pulling you closer. "Needed a little break from being Elsa?"
You laugh quietly, reaching up to brush a strand of hair from his forehead. "You were amazing with Ruby today. I think you're officially her new favorite person."
"She's a sweet kid," he smiles, then adds with a playful glint in his eyes, "Though I didn't expect to watch Frozen two times in one day."
"Just wait until tomorrow. She'll probably want to act it out."
He groans dramatically, but you can see the fondness in his expression. "The things I do for you."
"Mmm, and I appreciate every one of them," you murmur, standing on your tiptoes to kiss him softly.
Max responds immediately, one hand moving to cup your face while the other pulls you even closer. The kiss is gentle and unhurried, full of unspoken emotions. When you finally pull back, he rests his forehead against yours.
"Thank you," you whisper.
"For what?"
"For being so perfect with my family. For watching Frozen multiple times. For not running away when my dad started his racing commentary."
He chuckles, the sound rumbling in his chest. "I like your family. Your dad's racing knowledge is impressive, your mom's trying very hard not to mother me to death, and Ruby…" he pauses, smiling. "Ruby reminds me of Victoria at that age."
You snuggle closer, seeking his warmth in the cold air. "I was so nervous about telling them, and then even more nervous when they didn't believe me. But this… this is better than I imagined."
"Even with your dad asking me to sign his entire Red Bull merchandise collection?"
"Hey, at least he waited until after dinner," you laugh. "Though I'm pretty sure he's in there right now planning which items to bring out first."
Max wraps his arms more securely around you, pressing a kiss to your temple. "I love you," he says quietly, and your heart skips a beat like it does every time he says those words.
"I love you too," you reply, tilting your face up for another kiss.
This one is deeper, more passionate, until you hear the back door creak and quickly step apart.
"Oh!" your mom exclaims, looking flustered. "Sorry, I just… wanted to ask about breakfast preferences… but it can wait… carry on!"
She disappears back inside, and you both burst into quiet laughter.
"We should probably go back in," you sigh, though you make no move to leave his embrace.
"Probably," he agrees, but instead of letting go, he pulls you back for one more kiss. "Five more minutes?"
You smile against his lips. "Five more minutes."
In the quiet of Christmas eve, wrapped in each other's arms, you can't help but think how perfectly he fits into your life, into your family, into your heart. Tomorrow there'll be more Frozen, more racing talk, more of Ruby's endless questions, but right now, it's just the two of you, and it's everything.
The winter sun is just beginning to peek through the curtains of your childhood bedroom, casting a soft golden glow across the room. You're wrapped in warmth, nestled against Max's chest with his arm draped around your waist. His steady breathing tells you he's awake before he even moves.
"Good morning," he murmurs against your neck, his voice still rough with sleep. His lips brush against your skin, sending shivers down your spine.
"Morning," you whisper back, feeling his hand slowly slide beneath your sleep shirt, his fingers tracing patterns on your skin.
"Sleep well?" he asks innocently, but his actions are anything but innocent as he presses closer, leaving a trail of kisses from your shoulder to your ear.
"Max," you breathe, caught between wanting to lean into his touch and knowing you should stop. "We can't… my parents…"
"Then we'll have to be very, very quiet," he whispers, nipping at your earlobe. His hand travels higher under your shirt, making your breath hitch.
You turn in his arms, ready to either give in or properly protest - though the way he's looking at you, eyes dark with desire and that signature smirk playing on his lips, makes you lean heavily toward the former.
"You're trouble," you murmur, reaching up to run your fingers through his disheveled hair.
He leans down to capture your lips in a heated kiss. "You love it."
Just as his hand starts to wander again, a voice pierces through the quiet morning:
"IT'S CHRISTMAAAAS!" Ruby's excited scream echoes through the entire house, followed by the thundering of small feet running down the hallway. "WAKE UP! WAKE UP! SANTA CAME!"
Max drops his forehead to your shoulder with a frustrated groan. "Your sister has impeccable timing."
"Welcome to Christmas with Ruby," you laugh, pressing a consoling kiss to his cheek. "I tried to warn you."
"YN! MAX!" Ruby's fists pound on your door. "GET UP! There are presents EVERYWHERE! And it SNOWED!"
"Five more minutes, Rubes!" you call back.
"NO MINUTES! NOW!" she insists, continuing to knock. "Mom said breakfast is ready and Dad made hot chocolate and I SAW A HUGE PRESENT WITH MY NAME ON IT!"
Max chuckles against your shoulder. "I suppose we should…"
"PLEASE!" Ruby calls again. "I promise I'll let you drink your coffee first!"
"That's quite the offer from her," you tell Max. "She usually doesn't allow any delays on Christmas morning."
"We're coming, Ruby!" Max calls out, sitting up and running a hand through his hair. "Give us two minutes to get dressed."
"TWO MINUTES! I'm counting!"
You can hear her dramatically counting down in the hallway, making Max laugh. "She's serious about this, isn't she?"
"Oh, you have no idea."
The living room is a festival of color and chaos when you finally make it downstairs. Ruby's bouncing by the tree in her Christmas pajamas, while your parents are settled on the couch with steaming mugs of coffee.
"Finally!" Ruby exclaims. "I counted way past two minutes!"
"Sorry, princess," Max says, accepting a coffee mug from your mom. "But I'm here now."
"Max, sweetheart, you really didn't have to get us anything," your mom says, noticing the pile of presents he'd arranged under the tree last night.
"Of course I did," he replies warmly. "It's Christmas."
Ruby's practically vibrating with excitement as your dad starts distributing gifts. "Can I open mine from Max first? Please?"
At your nod, she tears into the elaborate wrapping paper, gasping when she reveals a beautiful wooden chest with golden details. "It's like a treasure chest!"
"Open it," Max encourages, smiling.
Ruby lifts the lid carefully, her eyes widening. Inside is a complete collection of princess dresses, each one a perfect replica from different Disney movies, along with matching accessories and a tiara for each one.
"The chest is magical," Max explains, kneeling beside her. "Every time you open it, there might be a new surprise inside. And look at this…" He reaches in and pulls out a small envelope.
Ruby opens it to find a letter with the Disney castle letterhead. "Dear Princess Ruby," she reads aloud, her voice getting more excited with each word. "You are cordially invited to spend a royal weekend at Disney World, where you will have a private breakfast with all the Disney princesses…"
She doesn't even finish reading before launching herself at Max, nearly knocking him over. "Thank you thank you thank you! Can I try on the Elsa dress right now?"
"After presents," your mom laughs. "Let's see what else Santa brought."
Your dad opens his gift next, finding an envelope that makes him pause. "Son," he says, voice thick with emotion as he reads the contents. "This is…"
"VIP passes to the British Grand Prix," Max confirms. "Including garage access, grid walk, everything."
Your dad has to sit down, clutching the passes like they might disappear. "This is… I can't…"
"And this," Max hands him another package, "is just a little something extra."
Inside is a vintage racing jacket from your dad's favorite driver from the 80s, signed and authenticated. Your dad actually tears up.
Your mom opens her gift next, despite protesting again that Max shouldn't have gotten them anything. She unwraps a beautiful pair of earrings.
"Oh, Max," she whispers, "This is beautiful."
Ruby, who has been surprisingly patient, tugs at Max's sleeve. "Can we do my princess breakfast now?"
"After we finish presents," you laugh. "And maybe we should have real breakfast first?"
"But I'm a princess now," she declares. "Princesses have special breakfast times."
Your mom shakes her head fondly. "How about pancakes fit for a princess?"
"With chocolate chips?" Ruby negotiates.
"With chocolate chips," your mom confirms. "Max, honey, how do you like your pancakes?"
"However they're made is perfect," he assures her, but your mom is already heading to the kitchen, muttering about making sure she has enough chocolate chips.
Your dad finally finds his voice again. "Max, this is too much…"
"It's not," Max says firmly. "You're… you're family now. Or at least, I hope…"
He glances at you meaningfully, making your heart skip a beat.
Later, after pancakes and multiple princess dress changes from Ruby, you manage to steal some time alone with Max in your favorite spot on the back porch. The morning sun has warmed the air slightly, but there's still a crisp winter chill that gives you an excuse to stay close to him.
"Your turn," Max says softly, pulling out a small wrapped box from his pocket.
Your hands tremble slightly as you unwrap it, revealing a velvet jewelry box. Inside is a delicate silver necklace with two intertwined pendants - a heart and a tiny racing helmet.
"Max," you breathe, touching the pendants gently. "It's beautiful."
"Look at the back," he says quietly, his voice carrying a note of nervousness you rarely hear.
You turn the heart over to find an engraving: "You're my biggest victory. -MV"
"I love you," you whisper, pulling him down for a kiss. His arms wrap around you, holding you close as if you're the most precious thing in his world.
When you finally part, you hand him your gift - a wrapped box that makes him raise his eyebrows at the weight.
Inside, he finds a handmade scrapbook filled with your personal moments - sneaky paddock kisses, quiet mornings at home, victory celebrations, and candid moments no one else has seen. The final page holds a photo from yesterday - Max on the floor with Ruby, both laughing during their third viewing of Frozen.
"This is…" he starts, voice thick with emotion.
"Wait," you say softly, reaching into your pocket. You pull out a key on a simple keychain. "I thought… maybe… if you wanted…"
"Move in with you?" he finishes, breaking into that brilliant smile that never fails to make your heart race. "Yes. Absolutely yes."
He pulls you into another kiss, deeper this time, one hand cradling the back of your head while the other holds the key carefully.
"MAX!" Ruby's voice carries from inside. "I need help with my Cinderella shoes! And then we have to build a snowman! A FROZEN snowman!"
You both laugh against each other's lips.
"Duty calls, Elsa," you tease.
"Only if you'll be my Olaf," he grins, pressing one more quick kiss to your lips.
"Always," you promise, letting him lead you back inside where Ruby waits, already changed into her third princess dress of the morning.
Your dad catches your eye as you pass, "If you don't marry this boy," he whispers, "I will."
"Dad!"
"I'm just saying," he shrugs, then heads outside to join the snowman-building committee.
Your mom appears at your other side, wrapping an arm around you. "He's right, you know. He's perfect for you."
You lean your head on her shoulder, watching Max let Ruby direct him on where to place the snowman's arms. "I know," you smile. "I know."
"Best Christmas ever?" she asks softly.
Looking at your family, and Max in the middle of it all, belonging there like he's always been part of it - you smile.
"Best Christmas ever," you agree.

Good news: I'm not as fearful of sleep/nighttime as I was before and have overcome a lot of my previous phobias. I've started using healthy strategies to keep myself calm when I feel like I'm starting to get nervous, I've finally gotten used to sitting with discomfort instead of catastrophizing every time I face intrusive thoughts/obsessions, and I've stopped having nightly panic attacks. I'm off the med that was giving me side effects before, and for now I'm just on a low dose of a different med that doesn't make me feel bad. I dedicate more time at night to activities that help me feel better and keep me grounded, like journaling, meditation, listening to calm music, and reading.
Bad news: ......I can't fall asleep until the morning and I don't wake up until the afternoon.
Help???
#at this point my mom is thinking my problem sounds more like delayed sleep phase syndrome than insomnia#but I don't know#anyway I have a trip in 2 weeks and like. I can't keep doing this#I mean. I'm glad that nighttime doesn't send me spiraling into breakdowns anymore#but I wind down early and I still can't sleep until after 7 AM?#and then I've been waking up at like 3 PM#I am glad that I sleep eventually since being sleep deprived can trigger panic in me#but these hours are ridiculous#like I try so hard so sleep early and my body is just like NOPE#and don't even get me started on waking up early...#sigh

We need a part two of the harley quinn mother headcanons!
SUGAR & SPICE!

pairings ⸺ Mother! Harley Quinn x Teen! Reader.
(PLATONIC FIC)
¿Request? Yes!
This is a Headcanon!
sinopsis ⸺ Every mother reaches the moment when she sees her chick starting to become independent from the nest. Harley loved you from the moment she found you in that abandoned alley, and now she finds it hard to accept that you are drifting away.
If she knew why you were leaving her behind, she would probably be thinking about putting Robin in the oven.
warnings ⸺ Fluff and Angst, Platonic Cuddling, ¿OOC Harley? Idk, Disturbing Content, Street Fights, Violence, Trauma.
A/N ── Honestly, I didn't plan on making a continuation of that headcanon, but since you asked (and your requests are sacred to me), here it is! Shoutout to @animequeen4 for the inspiration too!
Pt.3
When you grow up as the child of one of the most notorious supervillains in Gotham, things get a bit complicated. Harley knew this since you entered school, and especially since she separated from the Joker. She had prepared for everything: to protect you from clowns, snakes, and even snakes disguised as clowns. But what she didn't see coming, what truly drove her crazy, was the biggest challenge of all: your adolescence.
Harley noticed it almost immediately. At first, it was small things. Like how you no longer wanted to listen to the music she played at full volume in the lair. Instead, you started listening to your own songs, the ones she described as "unbearable noise." Then came the decoration of your room, which went from posters of heroes and villains to something "weird," according to Harley. “Since when do you like bats so much?” she would say with an eyebrow raised. But what broke her heart the most was when you stopped letting her dress you. She got frustrated every time she tried to put something on you that she thought looked great, and you would just say, "No, mom, I don't like that anymore."
But the worst, the worst of all, was when you entered high school. You made friends. Friends whose names Harley didn't even know. Horrible! For someone like her, who was used to knowing all the details of your life, that was the worst that could happen. And on top of that, you no longer asked for permission to do things! The worst part was that she had raised you "well" (according to her criteria), so she didn't understand how you ended up at the police station several times for vandalism and disturbances.
"I raised you better than this!" she would shout, completely indignant, while signing the papers to get you out of another detention. Inside, she knew you were going through that rebellious phase, but that didn't make it any easier to cope.
One day, Harley stood at the door of your room, frustrated because you didn't even ask her for help with your math problems anymore. She stared at you, her hands on her hips, and exclaimed, “Look, little birdie, I get you! I know you're growing up and all that, but can you please stop doing it so fast? You're slipping through my fingers!”
It was a mix of desperation and tenderness. Harley wasn't ready to see you grow up. She knew you were becoming more independent, but in her heart, you would always be her little one. And even though she got frustrated with all these changes, with every new friend or every time you snuck out to go to a party, deep down she just wanted to make sure you were okay.
Puberty was a roller coaster, and Harley was starting to realize that nothing in her villain life had prepared her to deal with it. The first thing she noticed was that you no longer wanted to go out with her for taco Fridays with the girls. Those days when they went shopping, wore neon clothes, and had laughs while window shopping stopped being your thing. Harley watched you from the doorframe, taco in hand, saying, “What happened to my buddy? Where's the kid who loved to eat until stuffed full of carnitas?”
Sometimes, Harley tried not to take it to heart, but it was hard. She crumbled a little every time you locked yourself in your room instead of watching her roll around on the sofas with the Birds of Prey or with the Sirens, planning their next crazy scheme. It was then that she realized she needed help. So, as a good mother (or as close as she could get), she turned to the only person who could understand her frustration... Catwoman.
But the chat with Selina wasn’t exactly helpful. “Harley, sweetheart, I don’t mix with kids. I don’t know what you want me to tell you, mine has four legs and purrs,” Selina said, taking a sip of her martini while checking out a new leather whip. It was a "thanks, but no thanks," and Harley left with more questions than answers.
Next stop: Ivy. Harley had high hopes that Ivy, with her serenity and green wisdom, would give her the key to understanding you better. But Ivy just shrugged and said, “Plants grow, Harley. Just like kids. You can't stop the natural process.” Harley frowned. “And what do I do when they doesn’t want to tell me who he's with all day?” Ivy, very zen, replied, “You could always... spy ” It wasn't exactly the help she was looking for.
After exhausting her resources with the girls, Harley did the unthinkable: she turned to Batman. Yes, Batman! In a conversation that turned out to be as awkward as it was effective, the Dark Knight explained to her what he had learned from raising his multiple Robins: “It's part of growing up. You just have to be there, but give them space. You can't control everything.”
Harley, of course, took it with her usual dramatism: “Give them space!? But they doesn’t even want to go for tacos anymore!?” It was as if the world had turned upside down.
Meanwhile, at school, things weren’t going smoothly either. Your new “friends” were... questionable. People that Harley, if she had known, would have kicked out. But, for your luck (or misfortune), those friends didn’t last long. In the end, the problems they brought with them distanced you from them, and unexpectedly, you found yourself spending more time with Damian again. Harley, of course, had no idea about this. To her, Damian was just the rude boy you sometimes talked to.
There was always something about him that intrigued you, and despite his constant grumbling and "I don't care" attitude, you managed to see beyond that. Between talks about anything (and often about nothing), Damian became someone important to you. Harley had no idea about this mini romance, because if she did, she would probably already be plotting a plan to scare the Wayne boy. “If you think he’s cute, go for it,” she had once said with a mischievous wink. And although she didn't think you would take it seriously, here you were, emotionally entangled with Batman’s son, even though at that time you didn't know he was Batman's son.
It all started with an idea that, in retrospect, wasn’t the best: throwing paint cans at Robin. In your defense, it sounded like a funny prank at the moment. What you didn't calculate was that Robin, being Damian Wayne, wasn’t exactly easy to evade. You ran as if your life depended on it, covering almost twenty kilometers, and the most frustrating part was that he wasn’t even sweating. Every time you turned to see if you had lost him, there he was, impeccable, with that unfriendly look and his expression of "When I catch you, say goodbye to your legs."
When he finally threw you to the ground, ready to give you the lesson of your life, you looked at him more closely. That perfectly styled hair, that look of a thousand deaths, and the sarcasm in every phrase... "Damian?!" you shouted, more out of disbelief than fear. Because, of course, it turns out your boyfriend wasn’t just a rude jerk, but also the damn Robin. The pieces finally fell into place, and you didn’t know whether to laugh or feel betrayed. In the end, you did both.
"What the hell were you thinking?" he reprimanded you with that authoritative voice he usually reserved for criminals and his family. "Throwing paint? Seriously?"
The funny thing is that, even though you were completely exhausted from the chase, your brain didn’t stop working. So instead of apologizing like a normal person, you shrugged and said, "At least it wasn't green paint. That would have been offensive." He didn’t find it so funny.
From that moment on, the romantic dates became something much more... practical. Damian decided that if you were going to get into trouble, at least you should know how to defend yourself, so starry night strolls turned into intense self-defense training sessions. "Nothing says 'I love you' like a well-placed punch," you thought every time Damian corrected your stance. And although at first you considered it the least romantic of gestures, there was something sweet about how he insisted on keeping you safe.
Of course, these "dates" weren’t just training. Eventually, you met Jon Kent, the super-sweet boy who contrasted so much with Damian's serious personality. The trio you formed was a disaster waiting to happen, yet somehow it worked. Between secret missions, night escapades, and 'lots of fun,' the three of you became inseparable. But it was all super secret, because if Batman found out, well, the reprimand wouldn’t be exactly gentle. And Harley... well, don’t even think about what Harley would say if she found out.
But Harley, being Harley, didn’t take long to notice the changes. For her, it was alarming to see how her kid, her little birdie, was starting to come home late through the window, with two colors in his hair that reminded her a bit of her own lifestyle, and some bruises that you, of course, tried to hide. "Did you fall down the stairs again? Seriously?" she would ask skeptically while helping you tend to your wounds.
Her biggest fear wasn’t that you would get into minor trouble, but that he would have come back. Harley began to suspect that the Joker had found you, and that kept her in a constant state of alert. She watched you more closely, trying not to show it, but it was obvious. Nights with Damian always seemed to fly by. Between training, talks, and that connection you both shared, the hours slipped away without either of you noticing. That was how it happened that one particular night, after a long and exhausting session, he decided to walk you home. Not that you needed it, you were perfectly capable of getting home on your own (or so you said), but Damian liked to make sure you got home safely. Plus, it was an excuse to spend more time together.
It was already four in the morning, and you were ready to say goodbye with a kiss when suddenly, three giant hyenas sprang out from under your bed, and Harley, in full ninja mode, dropped from the ceiling with a baseball bat in hand. "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?!"
You had to close the window, leaving Damian outside, to prevent your mom and the hyenas from getting to the "mom, chill," you tried to calm her, putting yourself between them. "It's not what it looks like."
"Oh no! It looks like you're turning into a mini-Harley with a boyfriend and everything, and I'm not going to sit back and watch how they break your heart like that stupid clown broke mine!"
But you managed to slow her down, and with Harley calmed down (more or less), the tension of the moment seemed to dissolve, but she didn’t stop there. The next morning, she showed up at the Batcave (Only God knows how she found the Batcave), furious, and ready to confront Batman for allowing his son to "seduce" her little birdie. "What kind of father lets his son stay out late with my kid?! This is unacceptable!"
Bruce, who was busy with his screens, barely looked up. He listened to Harley’s furious monologue while maintaining his typical calm posture, nodding from time to time. When Harley finished, he just raised his thumb calmly, as if giving his approval. "Damian has good taste," was all he said.
"That doesn’t help me, Bats!" Harley exclaimed, frustrated. But Bruce, in his minimalist style, simply added, "You... should spend more time with your kid, Harley. Don’t worry so much. And if you need help, just let me know."
Harley was left speechless. It wasn’t the response she expected, but deep down, she knew Batman was right. She sighed and, resigned, left without more than a warning for Bruce: "Just because you told me that doesn’t mean I won’t hit you with my bat if things go wrong."
But the truth is that as Harley made her way home, she reflected a little. You were growing up, and although she didn’t like it, it was part of life. You couldn’t be her little one forever, and while the fear of losing you was always present, she knew she had to trust you. After all, she had raised you well (in her own way), and now she could only let you fly a little, like that little bird she often mentioned.
Back at home, she found you lying on the couch, still with some paint in your hair from the prank on Damian. Harley watched you for a while, noticing how much you had grown. Not just in height, but in attitude. The way you had started to move through the world, making your own decisions, forming relationships outside the little universe she had built for you. And that, even though she sometimes denied it, hurt her a little. She sat on the edge of the couch, sighing as she stroked your messy hair.
Harley noticed it before anyone. First, you stopped getting excited about taco Fridays with the girls or going out to dye your hair neon. Then, it was the uncomfortable silence when you no longer sought her advice for anything. You had become more independent, but Harley only saw you drifting away.
Harley sighed and looked at you with a mix of nostalgia and worry. “You’re growing up... and even though I hate it, I know I can’t stop it. I just want you to know that you will always be my little birdie. No matter how big you get, you will always have a place with me.”
You stayed silent, noticing how difficult it was for her to say it. Harley had been many things, but she had never stopped being your mother. You smiled at her and nodded, feeling a familiar warmth in your chest. "I love you too, mom. I promise I’m not drifting away, I’m just... growing."
Harley gave you a tight hug, and in that moment, you knew that even though everything might change, you would always find that common ground, whether it was stealing marshmallows or just sharing a night under the stars. "Puberty sucks," Harley joked, and for the first time in a long time, you both laughed together.
As the hug lingered, you felt how the outside world faded away, leaving only Harley and you in a bubble of safety and love. "I’ll be here, always ready for you, even if sometimes I’m a little... crazy,” she replied with a soft laugh. “But you know that’s what makes everything more fun, right?”
You nodded, and inside, the worry you had felt about drifting away from her faded. There was comfort in knowing that even though the road ahead might be complicated and full of challenges, you had a beacon lighting your way. A mother who, with her craziness and unconditional love, would always guide you home.
"Let’s promise to do more things together, then," you said with determination. "No matter if it’s stealing candy or painting our nails bright colors. There will always be time for that."
"Deal," said Harley, raising her pinky as if sealing a pact. You smiled and linked it with yours. The connection you shared was stronger than any challenge you could face.
"And when it’s time to face the world, I’ll be your ally," she added, a spark of determination shining in her eyes. "Because we will be a team, always."
After that, everything changed, but for the better. Learning to divide your time between everything you loved wasn’t easy, but you knew you would succeed. After all, you had the strongest support: that of your strange yet endearing family, that of your partner, and above all, that of the best mother you could have ever dreamed of.

The fever comes on suddenly, like most things in the wilderness. One moment you're helping to stack firewood outside the cabin, the next your vision blurs and the world tilts sideways. You don't remember hitting the ground, just the confused chorus of voices above you and the sensation of being carried.
"She's burning up," someone says. Shauna, you think. Her voice always carries that edge of controlled panic when it comes to you.
Cool hands press against your forehead, your cheeks, your neck. The world fades in and out, dreamlike and disjointed.
"Could be anything out here," Misty's clinical tone cuts through the fog. "Infection, some kind of parasite, plant toxin..."
"Just help her," Shauna snaps, and you feel her fingers tighten around yours.
You try to respond, to reassure her that you're fine, but your tongue feels swollen, your thoughts scattered like leaves in a windstorm. The ceiling of the cabin swims above you, wooden beams blending and separating in nauseating patterns.
"We need to keep her temperature down," Tai's voice, practical and measured.
Someone drapes something cool and damp across your forehead. You close your eyes against the spinning room and slip into darkness.
"I can't do this anymore."
Your mother's voice filters through the thin wall of your bedroom. You're thirteen, curled up on your bed with headphones on, but not playing any music. You've learned it's easier to hear them this way – they think you can't, so they speak freely.
"She's just going through a phase." Your father sounds tired, defeated before the argument's even begun.
"A phase? She's been like this for years. The anxiety, the mood swings, the constant need for reassurance. I can't breathe in my own house without worrying about how she'll interpret it."
You pull your knees tighter to your chest, trying to make yourself smaller, less substantial. Less of a burden.
"The medication should start working soon—"
"It's been three months. Three different prescriptions. Nothing changes."
There's a long silence, and you hold your breath, straining to hear.
"What exactly are you saying?" Your father's voice has gone quiet, dangerous.
"I'm saying I need a break. I'm saying she's your problem now."
The words land like physical blows. Your problem. Your problem. Your problem.
"She's not a problem. She's our daughter."
"Then why does it feel like I'm drowning every time I look at her?"
You wake with a gasp, sweat-soaked and disoriented. Shauna's face swims into view above you, her eyes wide with concern.
"Hey, hey," she soothes, brushing damp hair from your forehead. "You're okay. You're with me."
"My mom," you mumble, the words feeling strange and disconnected from your mouth.
Shauna's brow furrows. "What about her?"
But you're already slipping away again, the cabin dissolving around you like sugar in rain.
The fever dreams come in waves, memories and nightmares blending together until you can't tell what's real and what isn't. Sometimes you surface long enough to register snippets of reality – Misty changing the cloth on your forehead, Tai arguing with someone in the corner, Van bringing in fresh water.
Shauna remains a constant, her presence anchoring you when you drift too far. You catch glimpses of her – sleeping awkwardly in a chair beside your makeshift bed, her hand never leaving yours; arguing fiercely with someone while gesturing toward you; her pregnant belly a curved shield between you and the rest of the world.
In your more lucid moments, you notice the strain on her face, the dark circles under her eyes. You try to tell her to rest, that you'll be fine, but the words come out jumbled and strange.
"I'm not going anywhere," she always answers, as if she can understand you perfectly.
The fever spikes on the third night, and the hallucinations intensify.
You're standing in the clearing outside the cabin, snow falling gently around you. Jackie stands a few feet away, her blonde hair untouched by the frost that covers her eyelashes and lips.
"Why won't you join me?" she asks, her breath not fogging in the cold air. "Don't you love me anymore?"
"I can't," you try to explain, but your voice sounds wrong, distant.
"Everyone leaves eventually," Jackie says with a sad smile. "Even Shauna will. She'll choose the baby over you. You know that, right?"
You shake your head, tears freezing on your cheeks. "She wouldn't."
"Just like your mom chose herself over you?" Jackie's eyes are sympathetic but unrelenting. "It's what people do. They leave."
"Not her," you insist, but uncertainty creeps in like frost, numbing your certainty.
"Look," Jackie points behind you.
You turn to see Shauna walking away, her back to you, getting smaller with each step.
"Shauna!" you call, but no sound comes out. "Shauna, wait!"
You try to run after her, but your feet are rooted to the ground. One by one, the others appear, walking past you to follow Shauna – Tai, Van, Akilah, Misty, Travis, Javi, Nat. None of them look at you. None of them stop.
"Everyone leaves," Jackie repeats, suddenly beside you. Her cold hand slips into yours. "But I'll stay. I'll always stay."
"—not letting you near her!" Shauna's voice cuts through the nightmare, sharp and defensive.
"She's getting worse," another voice argues – Lottie. "I can help."
"Like you helped Jackie?" Shauna's tone is venomous. "No fucking way."
"That was different. The wilderness wanted Jackie."
"And what does it want from her? Another sacrifice?"
You force your eyes open, the effort monumental. The cabin comes into blurry focus – Shauna standing at the foot of your bed, her body positioned protectively between you and Lottie, who hovers near the door with what looks like a bundle of herbs in her hands.
"I've seen this in my dreams," Lottie says, her voice taking on that distant quality that makes everyone uneasy. "The sickness is more than physical. It's in her mind, in her heart."
"Get out," Shauna hisses.
"Ask her about the pills that never worked," Lottie continues, undeterred. "Ask her about her mother walking away. Ask her why she sees Jackie everywhere."
The room goes silent. You feel a chill that has nothing to do with your fever.
"What did you say?" Shauna's voice has dropped dangerously low.
Lottie's eyes drift to you, and you realize with a start that she knows you're awake. "The wilderness shows me things. Her past. Her fears." She takes a step forward. "She's afraid you'll leave too. Just like everyone else."
Shauna moves so quickly you barely register it – one moment she's at the foot of the bed, the next she's got Lottie pinned against the wall, forearm pressed to her throat.
"Get. Out." Each word is punctuated with barely controlled rage. "If you come near her again, I swear to god, Lottie—"
"What's going on?" Tai appears in the doorway, taking in the scene with a quick, assessing gaze.
"Get her out of here," Shauna demands, not releasing Lottie.
Tai steps forward, placing a calm hand on Shauna's shoulder. "Let her go. She's not worth it."
For a moment, you think Shauna might refuse. Then, slowly, she lowers her arm. Lottie doesn't cower or retreat; she simply looks at Shauna with something like pity.
"She needs more than you can give her," Lottie says quietly. "The wilderness knows what she needs."
"Lottie, enough," Tai interrupts, stepping between them. "Leave. Now."
With one last meaningful look at you, Lottie places the bundle of herbs on a nearby table and exits. The tension in the room lingers like smoke.
Tai turns to Shauna, voice low. "You need to get some sleep. You're not helping her by running yourself into the ground."
"I'm fine," Shauna insists, but even from your fevered state, you can see she's swaying slightly on her feet.
"Shauna," Tai's voice gentles. "The baby. Think about the baby."
Something in Shauna seems to crumple at that. She glances back at you, conflict written across her features.
"I'll stay with her," Tai promises. "If anything changes, I'll get you immediately."
After a long moment, Shauna nods. She moves to your side, leaning down to press her lips to your forehead. "I'll be right in the next room," she whispers, as if she knows you're listening. "I'm not going anywhere. I promise."
You want to reach for her, to tell her you heard everything, but your body feels impossibly heavy. You manage only to brush your fingers against hers before she pulls away.
As Shauna leaves reluctantly, Tai settles into the chair beside you. You let your eyes close again, exhaustion pulling you under.
"These should help with the mood swings and anxiety," Dr. Winters says, scribbling on a prescription pad. "But I want to see you back in three weeks to assess how they're working."
You stare at the white paper she hands you, not really seeing it. This is the third medication she's prescribed in as many months. The first made you feel like a zombie, moving through the world wrapped in cotton. The second gave you headaches so intense you couldn't get out of bed.
"What if these don't work either?" you ask, hating how small your voice sounds.
Dr. Winters offers a professional smile that doesn't reach her eyes. "Let's stay positive. Finding the right medication can take time."
Time. Everyone keeps telling you to give it time. But how much time do you have before your mother decides you're too much work, too much trouble? Before the strain you're putting on your parents' marriage snaps it completely?
"I think we're also going to increase your therapy sessions to twice a week," Dr. Winters continues, already making notes in your file. "How does that sound?"
Like another burden. Another expense. Another reason for your mother to look at you with that mixture of disappointment and resentment.
"Fine," you say, because what else can you say?
Dr. Winters pats your knee in what's meant to be a comforting gesture. "You're doing great. These things don't fix themselves overnight."
But some things never fix themselves at all.
The fourth day of fever brings a kind of clarity, albeit a distorted one. You drift in and out of consciousness, but the hallucinations take on a different quality – less nightmarish, more contemplative. You see your mother walking away, but this time, you don't try to follow. You see Jackie standing at the edge of the forest, but you don't reach for her.
Instead, you watch as Shauna moves around the cabin, tending to you with a singular focus that borders on obsession. Even in your fever-addled state, you can see how the others look at her – with concern, with wariness.
"You need to eat something," Nat says during one of her visits, placing a hand on Shauna's shoulder.
"Later," Shauna dismisses, not looking up from where she's wringing out a cloth in a basin of water.
"The baby—"
"Is fine." Shauna's tone makes it clear the subject is closed.
Nat exchanges a glance with Tai, who shrugs helplessly from her position near the window.
"This isn't healthy, Shauna," Nat tries again. "For either of you."
Shauna finally looks up, her eyes hard. "None of this is healthy, Nat. None of it. But it's what we have."
There's something in her voice – a razor's edge of desperation – that makes Nat back down. She sighs, placing a small bundle wrapped in leaves next to the bed.
"Travis caught a rabbit. Make sure she gets some broth at least."
After Nat leaves, Shauna sits beside you, her hand finding yours as it always does. You manage to squeeze her fingers weakly, and her entire face transforms with relief.
"Hey," she says softly, leaning closer. "You with me?"
"Always," you rasp, your throat raw from disuse.
A small, genuine smile breaks across her face. "There you are." She brings your hand to her lips, pressing a kiss to your knuckles. "You had me worried."
"Heard Lottie," you manage, each word an effort. "What she said."
Shauna's expression darkens. "Lottie doesn't know shit."
"She knew about my mom. The medication."
Shauna goes still, her eyes searching yours. "Was she right? About your mom leaving?"
You nod weakly, not trusting your voice.
Something fierce and protective crosses Shauna's face. She leans forward, her forehead resting against yours despite the sweat and fever. "I won't leave," she whispers fiercely. "Not ever. Do you understand me? Not ever."
The conviction in her voice pierces through the fever fog, anchoring you to this moment, to her. You believe her, not because it's rational or because promises mean anything in this place of death and survival, but because Shauna has remade herself around your existence just as you have remade yourself around hers.
"The baby," you whisper, echoing everyone else's concern.
"Is part of us," Shauna replies without hesitation. "Not separate. Part of us."
The certainty in her voice should be comforting, but something in you recognizes the dangerous edge to it. This isn't healthy – this fusion of identities, this consuming need. But in the wilderness, health is a luxury none of you can afford.
"Rest," Shauna urges, stroking your hair back from your forehead. "I'll be right here."
As you drift off again, you think about Lottie's words – that the wilderness knows what you need. Perhaps it does. Perhaps this fever is a kind of burning away, stripping you down to what matters.
Or perhaps it's just another way the wilderness is trying to claim you, the way it claimed Jackie.

My lovely darling
Girlfriend Ambessa Medarda X Fem!reader
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Summary: You were just trying to survive your family reunion when Ambessa Medarda—your girlfriend—showed up unannounced. Now, you have no choice but to introduce her to your entire clan. What’s got you nervous isn’t just introducing any partner—it’s the fact that you’re dating a woman who also happens to be twice your age.
💋 Enough with the smut we need sweet girlfriend Ambessa💋
Part III is here took it longer than i expected. Since this is modern setting i think Ambessa would likely be a rich ceo.
Part III (final)
“And… what exactly do you do, Miss Medarda?” your mom asked, her tone light but loaded.
You look at your mom with a pleading eye telling her to stop but she was totally ignoring you. Like you don't exist. Wonderful..
"Nothing much, Mrs. [Last Name] but I do own a business called Medarda Enterprises," Ambessa replied smoothly, as if it were nothing remarkable. "We specialize in international investments and infrastructure. If you don't mind, Y/N mentioned about your passion for cooking, so I brought you a little gift. I hope you'd be please.."
You swallowed, waiting. This was Ambessa’s way of extending goodwill, and you prayed your mother wouldn’t outright reject it. God! She sound so smart and formal.
But the room went dead silent. Even your cousins, usually glued to their phones, looked up. You saw your dad’s who was in the side, eyes widen slightly, realizing.
Medarda Enterprises.
Everyone knew it. Ambessa wasn’t just rich—she was influencial and wealthy. She owned one of the biggest enterprises, and their latest expansion had set its sights on your country. It was no wonder your family recognize it immediatly.
And the CEO herself? She had a reputation of her ruthless business deals and nonsense attitude they weren’t just office gossip they made headlines. And the owner of such, here she was, sitting casually in your family’s dining room, sipping wine like she hadn’t just sent the entire room into stunned silence.
Your mom cleared her throat, but her voice had lost a bit of its edge. “T-that’s… quite the achievement,” she said carefully. “I suppose running such an empire doesn’t leave much time for… personal matters? And beside you don’t seem to be the type of person who would date someone like my daughter.”
You flinched, opening your mouth to protest, but Ambessa placed a firm hand over yours under the table. She exhaled a quiet chuckle.
“And what type of person would that be?”
Your mother shrugged unsure, but now her voice was low. “A woman like you… Y-you have power, wealth, influence. You seems to have everything under your finger. You can have anything you want. So why my daughter? of all people..”
Your stomach twisted. Your mother wasn’t even trying to be subtle anymore. It show how against she was in the relationship.
Ambessa wiped her mouth with a napkin, taking her time. “Your child is a remarkable person,” she said, her voice cool and calm. “Independent. Intelligent. Capable of making her own choices.” She finally met your mother’s gaze, “Do you doubt that? What exactly do you think your daughter is lacking, Mrs. [Last Name]?”
Your mother’s lips pressed into a thin line. “It’s not about lacking,” she said “It’s about reality. People in your position don’t settle down with people like us. They take what they want and move on when it’s convenient.”
A muscle in your jaw tightened. She thinks this is temporary. She thinks you’re temporary. And worst of all, she thinks your relationship with Ambessa is just a phase—something fleeting, something Ambessa will eventually grow tired of.
You opened your mouth, ready to argue, but Ambessa beat you to it. Her gaze flickered to you. She wanted you to stay put, to trust her. This was her fight, and she didn’t want you to bear the weight of it any longer.
Ambessa’s expression darkened just a fraction. If this had been anyone else, she would have shut them down without hesitation. Ambessa Medarda did not entertain opposition, especially from those who dared to speak ill of her. But this was different.
This was your mother, and despite your mother poor choice of word, Ambessa held herself back, maintaining a measured respect.
She deeply understood at your mother reaction.
Ambessa leaned back in her chair, “I understand why you would think that, Mrs. [Last Name]” she said, voice smooth but firm. “People like me… we don’t have the best reputation, do we? And i understood my past doesn’t inspire trust. But my intentions are not temporary, and neither is my love for your daughter.”
Your mother’s fingers twitched slightly, “And you expect me to just believe that?”
Ambessa tilted her head, considering. Then she smirked—not mocking, but with confidence. “No,” she admitted. “I expect you to watch and see for yourself.”
Your mother’s eyes narrowed ever so slightly. “That’s a rather diplomatic answer.”
“I can be far less diplomatic, if you’d prefer.”
Your mother exhaled sharply through her nose, breaking contact first.. And continue “Let's just be honest here for once, Miss Medarda,” she pressed on “what exactly are your intentions with my daughter?”
Ambessa’s expression didn’t change, but you felt her grip tighten on your hand beneath the table, just slightly. “That depends,” she said smoothly. “Are you asking out of genuine concern or because you think I’m incapable of commitment?”
Your mother, for the first time in the entire conversation, didn't know what to reply.
But Ambessa, sensing the shift, didn’t let the silence settle for long. She exhaled softly, her grip on your hand grounding, steady. “Just to make one thing clear, Mrs. [Last Name],” she said, “Your daughter is an extraordinary person. She is intelligent, kind, and resilient in ways most people never have to be. She challenges me, surprises me, and makes me better simply by existing.”
Your heart clenched at the sincerity in her voice. It was the first time Ambessa had let down her defenses in front of someone else. And yet, here she was, speaking with raw honesty. You couldn’t help but feel a swell of pride.
Ambessa’s gaze softened slightly. “Before I met her, everything around me was gray—predictable, structured, and… empty.” She glanced at you briefly before reaching out, her fingers brushing against your cheek in a sweet, tender caress. Your heart swelled at the touch and you felt yourself lean into it without thinking.
“And then she came along, and suddenly, the world had color again.”
You swallowed hard, blinking rapidly against the sting of emotion creeping into your eyes. Your mother was watching the two of you closely, her expression unreadable. The room felt impossibly still.
“I don’t take people lightly,” Ambessa continued, turning back to your mother. “And I don’t waste time on things that don’t matter. But your daughter? She matters to me. More than I can fully put into words. And i am expressing that i am truly genuine in our relationship. We didn't reach five years for nothing..”
Silence.
Your mother blinked. Then again. Her lips parted, coudn't believe what she just heard.
“Five years,” she repeated, voice barely above a whisper. “What Five years?”
This time, she turned to you, and all you could offer was a guilty smile, shifting under her intense stare.
Your mother’s gaze sharpened. “Wait—five years ago… that’s after one year you set foot on the States, isn’t it?”
You swallowed. “Y-yeah, Mom…”
She narrowed her eyes. “And Ambessa was…?”
You sighed, already feeling the weight of the explanation. “A-ambessa was actually become one of my clients.” You glanced at Ambessa, who simply smirked like this was all highly entertaining. She was entually enjoying this.. “That’s where it all started. And, well… as we spent more time together, we eventually started dating.”
Your mother blinked. Once. Twice. Then turned to Ambessa, eyes narrowing. “So let me get this straight—you were her boss?”
Ambessa, to her credit, met your mother’s scrutiny head-on, completely unbothered. “At first, yes.” She tilted her head slightly, lips curling into a knowing smirk. “And then, we became… more.”
Your mother looks like her jaw gonna drop at Ambessa's shameless agreement. “So you mean to tell me that while I thought my daughter was out there working hard, making a name for herself, and focusing on her career—”
“I was doing all that!” you protested.
“—She was actually started dating such person?! And for five years already?!”
The entire room fell into silence. Even the distant chatter from the remaining family members seemed to dim as your mother sat there, stunned.
She took a moment, as if trying to process this new reality. Then, finally, she turned to you, her eyes narrowing with accusation.
“How did you even manage that?” she asked, voice laced with pure disbelief.
Your shoulders dropped. You stared at her, deadpan.
“Seriously, Mom..?''
Beside you, Ambessa let out a low chuckle but eventually stopped when she noticed your pout, your expression clearly showing how upset you were. Why did people always ask that? Like it was some impossible thing? Well… they weren’t wrong exactly. You had caught a big fish—an impossibly big one.
Your mother exhaled sharply, shaking her head like she was trying to reset her brain. “I mean, it’s just—this is a Medarda we’re talking about. She could be with anyone. Anyone.”
Ambessa, ever the amused spectator, took a slow sip of her wine before setting the glass down. “And yet,” she said smoothly, resting an arm behind your chair, “I chose her.”
Your mom blinked, glancing between the two of you. “But… why?”
You groaned, burying your face in your hands. “Oh my God, can everyone stop asking that?”
Ambessa smirked, tilting her head. “It is a fair question, little one.”
You turned to her, completely betrayed. “Not you too!”
Your father, who had been quietly observing the conversation from the sidelines, let out a low whistle. “Well… that certainly explains why you never brought anyone home before.”
Your mother held Ambessa’s gaze for what felt like an eternity. Debating and looking like there was so many thing circulating on her head—but then, finally, she exhaled a long, sigh of defeat.. loss of word.
You nearly gasped.
Your mother—one of the most difficult, most stubborn people on the planet—looked completely out of words.
You turned to Ambessa, barely suppressing a grin, and found her already looking at you. A slow, proud smirk tugged at her lips—one that said I told you so.
God, you loved this woman.
Mother inhaled sharply, rubbing her temples like this was giving her a migraine. Worry immediately surged through you, and you stood up without thinking.
“Mom? Are you okay?”
But she immedialy raised her head sharply pointing in your direction.
“You.. Young lady. We have so many things to talk about”
You froze.
"Five years," she repeated, shaking her head again. "Five years, and you never thought to mention this? Am i that distrustful for you to keep it that long.. Do I look like I can't handle it? I always thought you were alone and miserable, but clearly, that’s not the case." She let out a dramatic sigh.
"And gay? Listen, I love you honey but i have nothing against it, but..." She hesitated, gesturing vaguely as if trying to grasp the right words. "I always thought you liked men. Handsome ones! Those with big muscles.. The kind who look like Chris Evans or—"
She hissed, voice barely above a whisper “And then you’re telling me this whole time. She looks like she could even be your—”
“Mom, don’t,” You warned,. “Don’t finish that sentence.”
Your mom immedialty stopped. Completly understood and clearly deciding not to push that particular button.'' A-and Oh! I remeber..What about Henry Cavill?! You dreamed about marrying him.. Don’t you remember? You used to have a poster of him above your bed—''
Your stomach dropped. Where was this conversion even leading up?
“Mom—”
You darted a glance at Ambessa, and to your horror. Beside you, she was watching you with her signature unreadable expression, one brow arched in amusement.
You wanted the ground to swallow you whole.
“That’s enough, mom” you cut in, mortified.
It was bad enough that your mother was bringing up every embarrassing detail of your past, it wasn't on your bucket list for Ambessa—Ambessa hearing it for the first time about your past fascination on men.
You dared a glance at her once again, swallowing hard.
Ambessa took a sip of her wine, her smirk growing. “Cavill, hmm?”
You groaned, covering your face. This is the best and also the worst day of your life.

I think I'm out of my angst phase! Yay! And it's explicitly buddie! Double yay! :)
---
He's not sure how the urge came about.
Or well. He was in a nostalgic mood.
He had found the record while unpacking. He was pretty sure it used to be his dad's. Maybe his mom's. Either way, he remembers listening to the record after school. During dance practice. Doing homework. Goofing off with his sisters. He had loved the songs. He was always a big fan of them, something about their beat being fun to dance to.
Until the joy of dance was stripped away.
This record was one of many. A compilation of music from the 50s, 60s, and 70s. The classics, as his dad would say.
He couldn't say what compelled him to put the record on. Maybe it was the empty house. Chris was out with friends, Buck out with Maddie.
Maybe it was the flood of emotions that hit him as soon as he found the record. He didn't even remember grabbing it. The first time leaving Texas or this latest time. He's not entirely sure how it came to be in his possession. He's glad for it now, though.
He didn't actually expect to want to dance to it.
It starts slow. The music is quiet, low as it plays from the record player. Just some background music while he unpacks. Then his foot starts tapping. He turns it up. Then he's adding in hip sways as he moves from room to room, putting things in their designated place, mixing his things with Buck's. The volume goes up even louder.
He's not sure when he starts full-blown dancing around the house, laughing, smiling. He's not even unpacking anymore. The music is filling the house. Air guitar. Air drums. Classic ballroom dancing. Uncoordinated jumping. It's like when he first rediscovered dancing, but he lets himself indulge for longer.
He's never felt so free.
That's how Buck finds him. He hadn't even heard the door open.
He spins around, only to run right into Buck's solid chest. They both stumble, Buck grabbing onto Eddie's elbows to steady him. "Whoa, Eds. You good there?"
And Eddie would answer. He really would. But at that moment, the record flipped over to At Last by Etta James and well. That just seems like fate.
Who is he to deny fate?
So he just grins, holds out a hand, and asks, "Care to dance?"
Buck gives a slight laugh, face scrunched in confusion, "Uh, what?"
"Dancing, Buckley." Eddie grabs his hand, pulling him in. He places Buck's hands on his shoulders, moving his own hands to Buck's hips. They start with just swaying. "You have a good time with Maddie?"
Buck seems at a loss for words, hands flexing on Eddie's shoulders. His eyes flick everywhere around the room but at Eddie, as if he's unsure where it's appropriate to look. "Uh, yeah. Always do."
Eddie takes pity on him, chuckling under his breath as he starts to move Buck around the room. "You're pretty stiff. Might want to loosen up if you have any hope of keeping up."
That gets Buck. He never can resist a challenge. He looks Eddie in the eyes, indignation clear in his gaze. "You caught me off guard!"
"Uh huh." The record changed over to You Are Everything by the Stylistics. Eddie began moving them to the faster beat. "Then try to keep up."
He spun Buck out from him, only to spin him back in, catching his hand and pressing it to his chest. To Buck's credit, he only stumbles slightly. He glares at Eddie. "You're doing this on purpose."
"I don't know what you're talking about." He grins widely. This was the most fun he had had with dancing in... a long time. "Part of dancing well is having the right partner. The other part is feeling them." He squeezes Buck's hand where it's still resting against his chest. "Can you feel me, Buck?"
Eddie was fascinated by the blush that appeared on Buck's cheeks. "Eddie."
"Evan."
Buck's blush got worse, dampening the glare he was trying to keep up. "I didn't know you could dance."
"Oh, yeah." Dance With Me by Orleans. Eddie switched to match the pace of the song. "I love dancing, actually. Especially when I have the right partner." He winked at Buck. "Shame, I can't pick you up."
Buck's glare turned mischevious as he moved his hands to grasp Eddie around the waist. Effortlessly, he picked Eddie up, spun him, and dropped him back down. Eddie felt breathless, especially as Buck reversed their hold. One hand at Eddie's waist, the other holding his hand. Eddie fluttered his free hand before landing it on Buck's shoulder.
"Good thing I can pick you up, then."
From that point on, it became partly a competition, both trying to one up each other. Eddie had the clear advantage, actually being able to dance. Buck mostly relied on being able to fully pick up Eddie. This lasted for a few more songs. By the time it got to My Girl by the Temptations, they were both breathing hard, laughing into each other's shoulders.
They slowed to a sway. Eddie's face buried in Buck's shoulder, Buck's face hidden in Eddie's hair. Eddie could swear he felt Buck's lips move as if he were -
"Are you singing the lyrics?"
Eddie feels more than see Buck's shrug. "I like this song."
Eddie huffed a laugh, leaning away slightly, just enough to see Buck's face. He raises an eyebrow, crooked grin in place. "Thought you didn't care for singing."
Buck shrugs again, ducking his head slightly. "Guess it's like dancing. I just need the right partner."
And Eddie isn't planning on it. He really isn't. But Buck's cheeks are flushed. His eyes are bright. His curls are partly plastered against his forehead with sweat. And something about the Temptations as the background to it all?
Eddie's just a man. He's not strong enough for this.
So he doesn't fight it.
He lightly brushes Buck's curls off of his forehead and leans in, giving Buck enough time to pull away if he wants to. Buck's eyes are wide, but he doesn't.
Eddie gives him a soft smile right before their lips meet. And right there, in the middle of their living room, on a quiet afternoon.
Everything clicks into place.

Berlin maradures au????

now listen! berlin hipster modern marauders band au. (i'm sorry this is brutally self-indulgent and may be incomprehensible to anyone outside berlin but i need to put it somewhere) this is a long post, so i put it under the cut. please excuse the word vomit :)
they all go to a grammar school that's a bit too shitty to call itself elite but does anyway. many children of bureaucrats, diplomats etc. that think they're ghetto f.e. James, Sirius and Remus. (Peter is the only normal one tyvm)
the marauders met as classmates in year 5. Remus and Sirius are forced into the school choir. all marauders learn acoustic tradtional instruments but their "band" is actually a soundcloud rap project. James and Peter build BAD beats and Sirius fixes them. they all do enjoy indie/rock and sometimes have jam sessions and do covers. artistic duo Remus & Sirius. intense homoerotic friendship James & Sirius. wolfstar endgame. Sirius curates a spotify account with only extremely niche melancholic rap to impress Remus; actually knows german trash rap by heart. serenades Remus with Ski Aggu "love" songs during Remus' depressive phases.
Sirius and James are third generation immigrants; Sirius turkish on his mother's side, James indian. Sirius family is not necessarily evil, just conservative diplomats with a big pride in tradition & well behaviour; far removed from their own cultural & religious roots in order to integrate into german political structures. however they are homophobic/unaccepting towards Sirius. Sirius grows up in a very german environment, gets misjudged by racist teachers. extremely smart yet often lazy. at school they're permitted to use ipads and chatgpt does his entire course work; he spends his time gaming during class. vape enthusiast although he gets horrible coughing attacks.
Remus's background is very international, somewhat french on Lyall's side and arab roots on mom's side, they met in england and moved to berlin with child Remus. Rip Remus' mom. Remus & Lyall live in a nice old apartment (Altbauwohnung) in berlins Pankow district (lots of families, settled down hipsters, sligh shift into suburban terrain), Lyall is either a lawyer or diplomat, 50/50 works or spends time with his girlfriend. crunchy distant father-son-relationship. but because no ones ever home, Remus constantly has friends (and Sirius) over. Remus has BPD, is in therapy and doing pretty well in his later adolesence. Remus spends lots of time outside, drinking in parks, chilling at friends', or smokes too much weed in his room. unapologetic chain smoker, even in front of Lyall. quiet and shy, makes him seem either rude or mysterious. bookworm & music nerd. nokia + ipod combo instead of smartphone because he doesn't want screen addiction or be too reachable. vape hater, point of argument with sirius.
accidental wolfstar public outing after Sirius drunkenly performs an Ikkimel song at a party and then throws himself at Remus (they don't really gaf anymore). For Halloween they dress up as a Cigarette and a Beer (Sternburger Export).
James watches german meme compilations every night and knows them by heart. Footie enthusiast with Sirius, drags the marauders to big games where they almost get trampled. extreme alman energy (aka white german energy, upstuck, snobbish and happily embarassing, taking part in typical german shenanigans) just like Sirius, except Sirius tries to hide it and James can deal with the jokes at his expense. James was a tv addict as a child. James & Sirius friendship began over a shared interest in anime.
Peter is the token german kid. Fridays for future gave him a bad conscience and all the marauders joined him in the demonstrations to get out of class. Extreme stoner, at least bi-weekly sessions with Remus. also i like the art kid peter hc so i'm stealing it. art kid peter who draws cartoons of his friends.
Lily & Severus live in the inner city Wedding district, rougher than the outer parts where Sirius & James live. Lily & Remus bff duo. (ik this is very boy centric, i have yet to dig deeper into my headcanons for the girls)
.
i have a lot of music associations, but they actually are nice songs so idc here they are...
songs to illustrate the vibes: Nachts wach by makko, Rasenschach by Filow, FUSSBALLMÄNNER by Ikkimel, Wenn du tanzt by Von Wegen Lisbeth
Remus coded songs: Marlboro Mann by Romano, Goldener Reiter by Joachim Witt, Ziemlich Verplant by Skinny Dazed (!!!), Alt sein by Pisse
Sirius coded songs: BIKINI GRELL by Ikkimel, Immer nur da by Fynn Kliemann, Klebstoff by Mine (extreme black brother angst vibes), Findelkind by Mine (i could make a whole seperate post on how wolfstar-coded Mine's & Fynn Kliemann's discographies are)
James coded songs: Haus am See by Peter Fox, Verschwende deine Zeit by Edwin Rosen (prongsfoot vibes imo)
Peter coded songs: Alles Gute by Faber, Bongzimmer by SXTN
#thank you for letting my indulge! no one has to read this#this is just me hallucinating bullshit to the german music i listen to.#mine#my art#marauders#marauders era#marauders fanart#remus lupin#sirius black#james potter#peter pettigrew#the marauders#wolfstar#prongsfoot#can you tell i painted over a pic of my classmates in one of these :P#VERY accurate berlin teenage boy depiction yall#ask#answered#antarescamusxo#berlin marauders

【everything i didn't say.】

⋆ ˚。⋆୨୧˚pairing: kim seungmin x reader ⋆.˚⟡ ࣪ ˖summary: overwhelmed by unrequited love and loneliness, you find an unexpected comfort in kim seungmin, who shows you what love really feels like. ⋆ ˚。⋆୨୧˚warnings/genre: angst, hurt/comfort, slow burn(???), mentions of some sensitive topics (family struggles, loneliness, etc.), but it ends with happy ⋆.˚⟡ ࣪ ˖notes: this is my first requested fic :)) i hope this fits what you were looking for @yaniluvs!!! english isnt my first language so, there might be some grammar issues or something like that, but enjoy!
falling for your best friend was probably the worst thing you'd ever done to yourself. it hurt, and in the slow, aching kind of way that crept into your chest late at night and refused to leave. after years of sharing secrets, laughing over inside jokes, and being the person they always turned to, your heart had decided to betray you.
and now? now, it was hell.
you didn't mean to get jealous when they talked about their crushes. you really didn't. but every time they lit up talking about someone else, that ugly, clawing feeling curled around your chest, squeezing it tight. you hated it. hated the way it made you feel like a bad friend. hated the way you kept waiting for them to notice the way you looked at them, even though you knew they wouldn't. hated the way you loved them, because no matter how much you tried to convince yourself it was just a phase, it wasn't.
worst of all, you hated how much it made you realize how starved you were for love.
you tried not to think about it too much, but it was always there, sitting in the back of your mind like an unwelcome guest. growing up, love had never been something you could count on. not from your family, at least. your mom had tried her best, sure, but she couldn't carry the weight of everything alone. and when your best friend came along, it felt like you'd finally found what you'd been missing. someone who chose you.
but now that you wanted more, it was unbearable.
you knew it wasn't fair to feel this way, and you hated how frustrated and tired it made you. but you couldn't just shut it off.
so, naturally, the universe decided it was the perfect time to partner you with kim seungmin for that science project. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
working with seungmin wasn't exactly awful. it wasn't like he was mean or anything. just… the kind of person who didn't waste time on unnecessary words or gestures. he wasn't rude, but he wasn't friendly either, which made things feel a little tense between the two of you.
you weren't sure what you'd done to deserve being partnered with the human embodiment of a blank excel spreadsheet, but here you were, staring at seungmin's perfectly organized notes while he quietly ignored you.
"so", you said finally, breaking the silence, "do you ever, like… have fun?"
seungmin's fingers paused over his laptop keyboard. he tilted his head slightly, like he was considering your question, before glancing up at you with a completely blank expression. "define fun."
you blinked. "uh… like hanging out with friends? doing something exciting? not spending your entire life on schoolwork?"
"i play sudoku", he said flatly, turning back to his laptop.
"oh, wow. wild of you", you deadpanned, leaning back in your chair.
his lips twitched, just barely. you couldn't tell if it was the start of a smile or if he was trying to hold in a laugh, but either way, it was the closest thing to emotion you'd seen from him all week.
"what about you?" he asked suddenly, his voice calm and measured. "what do you do for fun?"
the question caught you off guard. "uh…" you hesitated, realizing that you didn't really have an answer. what did you do for fun anymore?
seungmin’s gaze flicked toward you, and you felt strangely exposed under his scrutiny. like he could see right through you.
"you don't know, do you..?" he asked, his tone neutral but his words cutting straight to the point.
"what's that supposed to mean?" you shot back, feeling defensive.
he shrugged, turning back to his laptop. you rolled your eyes, annoyed but also unable to shake the feeling that he was right. despite his frustratingly blunt demeanor, seungmin wasn't as heartless as he seemed. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
you started noticing it in the little things. the way he'd quietly push a bottle of water toward you during late night study sessions, even though he never said a word about it. or the way he'd adjust the desk lamp so it wasn't shining directly in your eyes.
he never called attention to it, always brushing it off if you tried to thank him. "it's not a big deal," he’d say, his voice calm and detached. but it was a big deal to you. especially when everything else in your life felt like it was falling apart.
it kinda felt like your best friend had started pulling away lately, caught up in their own life and their own relationships. you couldn't blame them, not really, but it still stung, in a way. especially with your feelings towards them. and things at home weren't any better. the tension between you and the rest of your family seemed to be growing thicker by the day. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
it was seungmin who noticed first.
"you seem off", he said one afternoon, his voice cutting through the silence like a blade.
you looked up from your notes, startled. "what?" "you're distracted. you've been distracted all week." you opened your mouth to deny it, but the words got stuck in your throat. he was right. you had been distracted. exhausted. frustrated. and right now, it felt impossible to hide it anymore.
"it's nothing", you mumbled, looking away.
seungmin didn't say anything for a long moment, and you thought he was going to drop it. but then, quietly, he asked, "do you want to talk about it?", his voice was soft, almost hesitant, and it caught you completely off guard.
"why do you care?", you asked, the question slipping out before you could stop it.
he didn't answer right away. when he finally spoke, his voice was calm but firm. "cause you look like you're carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders, and someone should care."
his words hit you like a punch to the gut, and the river of tears that you'd been holding back for so long finally broke.
it started small. just a shaky inhale and the prickle of tears stinging behind your eyes. you tried to hold it back, to swallow it all down like you always did, but this time, it refused to stay buried. the tears spilled over, uninvited, and you quickly turned your face away, swiping at your cheeks in a futile attempt to stop.
"hey," seungmin said softly. his voice was quiet, steady, not the least bit judgmental. "it's okay. don't… don't do that."
you sniffled, still refusing to meet his gaze. "don't do what?"
"don't try to hide it." his words were firm, but there was a gentleness to them that made your throat tighten even more. "just let it out."
you wanted to argue with him. wanted to say that you were fine, that he didn't need to worry about you, but the lump in your throat was too big to ignore. before you could stop yourself, the words started spilling out.
"i'm just so tired, seungmin." your voice cracked as you spoke, and the floodgates opened. "of everything. my stupid family, my stupid feelings, my stupid self."
you took a shaky breath, trying to gather yourself, but the words kept tumbling out, raw and unfiltered.
"i feel like… like i'm always the one giving. to everyone. my mom, my best friend, even random people who don't deserve it, and no one ever gives back. no one sees me like that, y'know? like i matter. and i keep telling myself that it's fine, that i shouldn't expect anything, but… but sometimes i do. i just want someone to look at me and care. really care. and it's selfish, and i hate feeling this way, but-"
"it's not selfish."
you stopped short, startled by the sudden firmness in his voice. when you finally looked up at him, your vision blurred by tears, he was leaning forward, his arms resting on the table, his gaze fixed intently on you.
"..you're allowed to want that," he continued, his tone calm but unwavering. "you're allowed to want to feel loved. to want someone to care about you the way you care about everyone else."
you opened your mouth to argue, to tell him he didn't understand, but he didn't give you the chance.
"and if no one else has told you this, then let me be the first. you deserve that," he said. his voice softened, and there was something tender in the way he said the words. "you deserve to be cared for. to be loved. you don't have to do everything on your own."
for a moment, all you could do was sit there, staring at him as fresh tears spilled down your cheeks.
"why are you being so nice to me?" you whispered, your voice barely audible.
his lips quirked, just slightly, in something that wasn't quite a smile. "maybe because i care", he said simply, his eyes never leaving yours.
something about the way he said it. so calm, so certain. it made the tightness in your chest loosen, just a little.
you didn't know how long you sat there, spilling your heart out to seungmin, but by the time you were done, the sun was already starting to dip below the horizon, casting the room in a soft, golden glow.
"feel better?", he asked, his voice quiet but sincere.
you nodded, still a little embarrassed but feeling lighter than you had in weeks.
"good.", he leaned back in his chair, his expression unreadable. "now eat something. you've been running on fumes all day."
"are you always this bossy?" you shot back, but there was no bite to your words.
he shrugged, his lips twitching in the faintest hint of a smile. "only when i'm right."
and as much as you hated to admit it, he really was right. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
it was a just some tuesday evening when everything finally came to ahead.
it had been a while since you started working with seungmin. at first, you thought he was just some quiet, overly serious guy who barely tolerated your presence. but over time, you realized that wasn't true at all. he was observant, reliable in ways you hadn't expected, and despite his occasional teasing, he always seemed to know when you needed someone to just be there.
somewhere along the way, your feelings for your best friend had started to fade. not all at once, but slowly. like an old wound finally healing without you noticing. you still cared about them, of course, but that painful ache, that longing for something more? it wasn't quite there anymore.
what was there, though, was the quiet warmth that crept in whenever you were around seungmin.
you were sitting on the floor of his dorm room, surrounded by textbooks and empty snack wrappers. he was scrolling through his laptop, frowning slightly at the screen, when you said it.
"i think i like you."
you hadn't planned on saying confessing. the words just slipped out, quiet but certain. and for a while, they just hung in the air between the two of you.
seungmin froze, his fingers hovering over the keyboard. slowly, he turned to look at you, his expression unreadable.
"what?" he asked finally, his voice quiet.
"i said i think i like you", you repeated, your heart pounding in your chest. "and i don't just mean as a friend. i mean… more than that."
for a long moment, he didn't say anything. you could feel your stomach twisting into knots, the silence unbearable, until finally, he sighed and ran a hand through his hair.
"you're just realizing this now?" he asked, his tone dry but his ears bright red.
you blinked. "wait, what?"
he let out a quiet huff, almost like a laugh, and leaned back against the wall. "i've liked you for weeks. maybe longer."
your heart stumbled over itself, the weight of his words sinking in slowly, "why didn't you say anything?"
he shrugged, a faint smile tugging at his lips. "i didn't think you were ready."
you stared at him, completely floored. "you've been waiting for me to figure it out this whole time?"
"pretty much", he said simply.
"you're ridiculous", you muttered, but you couldn't help the way your lips curved into a smile.
"maybe", he admitted, his gaze softening as he looked at you. "but so are you."
he smiled back, his eyes soft and full of something you couldn't quite put into words.
and for the first time in a long time, you felt like you could breathe.
it wasn't a big, dramatic confession. there were no grand gestures, no sweeping declarations of love. but as seungmin leaned forward, resting his hand lightly over yours, you realized that it didn't have to be.
sometimes, the quiet moments were the ones that meant the most. and this moment was everything.

Disowned!Jason or Handyman!Jason? Whatever strikes your brain worm, my queen. 👑
"Did you have a ho phase?"
Jason didn't have to turn and look. He decided it was better if he didn't turn and look. He couldn't keep the shit-eating grin off his face. He could see the mortification on your face. And the innocence on Kylie's.
"Where did you-"
"Mom told me that if you'd just go have a Ho phase you'd stop being such a bi-"
"Two things babe," you tell her, taking her hand and ignoring the looks from the church ladies that were giving you dirty looks. Idly chucking a bag of marshmallows over Jason's shoulder into the cart. "Your mom is having enough of a ho phase for both of us, so. There's that. And Two- Don't- just don't worry about things like that until you're in like college. And don't live in my house anymore, kay?"
" 'Kay," Kylie said, frowning in confusion. "Can we get new cereal?"
"Yes," you tell her nodding. Grateful for short attention spans and brightly colored boxes. "Get one for you and one for Ty. Then we'll get out pup cups and head for home."
"Okay!"
You watched her skip ahead and exhale slowly, "Don't say it, Jason," you warn.
"C'mon," he said bending closer to your ear and pulling you against his side, "I can be part of-"
"Little pitchers, Todd." You got out of explaining a ho phase once and you didn't think you'd get away with it again. Some things really were better left to the big girls on the bus as long as it meant you didn't have to discuss your sex life at the fucking grocery store.

Book 7, Chapter 7, Episode 111
(MALLEUS APPEARS AGAINSD ASHJDD SADLSDLADSJKASD)
Ortho: "No way... Brother, do you really think that black haze is "Ortho"?"
Ortho: "No! You have to leave this place quickly! You can't get caught by that black haze!"
Ortho?: "Don't think of anything anymore. Iddy, you're just tired from too much gaming... You should get some sleep."
Idia starts falling asleep, but the real Ortho keeps shouting for him not to. But still, he falls asleep and gets transported into a dream within a dream...
Idia: "... Wha, I... Why am I in ceremonial robes, in the courtyard?"
???: "Is that person over there Shroud?"
OH MY GOOOOOD HE'S HERE, HE'S HERE! IT'S IDIA'S CEREMONIAL ROBES VIGNETTE SDAIDIODSA AWOOGA AWOOGA
Malleus: "So it is Shroud indeed. ... What is it? You look like you've seen a ghost."
Idia: "Ma, Malleus... What are you doing here?"
Malleus: "What ever do you mean... Is the entrance ceremony not about to start very soon?"
Idia: "Eh? Entrance ceremony?"
Malleus: "Haha... You seem to be half-asleep. Much like our dorm's Silver.
"Hm? Wait. Hasn't the entrance ceremony, like, ended months ago..."
Malleus: What are you saying? You are to be housewarden today. It's your first entrance ceremony as one."
Idia: "Is... Is that right?"
MALLEUS IS GASLIGHTING IDIA OH MY GOD LOL
Malleus: "What an odd fellow you are. Well then, let us go to the Mirror Chamber together. It would be quit an improper decorum indeed for third year housewardens like us to be late."
Idia: "Why do I feel like I'm forgetting something important..."
Suddenly, something explodes from afar!
Idia: "A, a ball of light is floating in the sky... Is that, a meteorite?!"
Idia: "Wu-wuh, what the hell! Is it hurtling towards me? Is it?!"
THIS IS SENDING ME TO DEATH OMFG! HE HID BEHIND MALLEUS! I CAJKKLDASDS A IDIAAAAA DHISDASIOJKLASD
Malleus: "That thing... is something "I do not understand"."
Idia: "Wuh-what, what? How are you so calm?! We gotta run for it!"
Idia: "If that thing hits us, even you'll get K.O.'d in one hit!"
It keeps approaching them, so Idia tries to cast a magic barrier out of desperation. It doesn't do shit though and still causes another explosion.
"I hope the program that "erases all data in all devices in an emergency" works properly..!"
IDIA IS THIS REALLY THE RIGHT TIME TO HOPE YOUR BROWSING HISTORY GETS DELETED WHEN YOU DIE OH MY GOD.
"......... Uhm? I'm, I'm alive?"
???: "Soul Signal Tracking complete. Target acquired."
Ortho: "Thanks for waiting, big brother! I've come for you!"
Idia: "Eh?! Who r u?!"
He sees STYX's emblem on Ortho and asks if he's a brand new mecha suit made by his mom. But then he notices that the thing called him "big brother"...
Ortho: "I'll explain later. Stand down, big brother."
Ortho: "There's a scary guy glaring at us."
Malleus: "What is the meaning of this, Littler Shroud."
Malleus: "You are not supposed to exist in this dream. How did you get in here?"
Ortho: "Ahaha! Didn't you say it yourself, Mr. Malleus Draconia."
Ortho: "I'm like a ghost; just an intangible electronic data. Do ghosts need a reason to phase through space?"
Malleus: "Heh... Hahaha! I applaud you for surprising me twice."
Malleus: "However, the fact that you have intruded in my castle not once, but twice..."
Malleus: "IS PURE INSOLENCE. MECHANICAL DOLL!"
Malleus: "AWAY WITH YOU, FOOL!"

MARI'S WRITING IDEAS .ᐟ
this post is a collection of writing ideas that popped up in my head, anyways feel free to use these. Also, tag me if you use them because I would love to read them. (please let me know if there is already something like it out, then I could tag the person or remove the idea) I will add to this whenever I get an idea
Hannah Montana au/fic - I told Shay about this but I think this would be so fun to read a kind of a unique spin on Popstar Reader, you could even switch it up and make one of the boys the Popstar
here - done by @evangelinescherryblossom
Wizards of Waverly Place - am I just naming my favorite childhood shows? maybe... anyways this would be so cool
Cruise life - I got this idea when I went to my aunt's house and my cousin was watching the sweet life of Zach and Cody
"The Love Boat" - this would be such a cool au idea it is based on the show Love Boat which tells the story of the passengers and crew members (helps passengers find love or fix their relationship)
Claw Machine - so this is a little based on the scene in the squid game where he pays the kid to try and get something from the claw machine but also one of my friends has this "queen of the claw machine" shirt because she always gets things from the claw machine every time she said the employees gave it to her (I just thought this could make a cute idea for a fic)
13 going on 30 - I was going to do this one myself but I don't want to anymore, anyways this would be such a cute idea. based on the movie is where this came from, I also have a board I made if anyone wants to see it for pic inspo
Supermarket - I think there's a show about this? I have no idea but I felt it gave the office vibes but in a supermarket
Storm Chaser - I got this idea when my mom was driving me home from work and there was a storm coming, could also be inspired or related to the movie Twister
Dear Diary - imagine you go to a thrift store and find an old diary, you start reading it, all the entries. But then the pages turn blank. your determined to find who owns the diary (this could be like horror/mystery)
or it could be romance and the diary has love notes addressed to the person reading, despite them not knowing who the writer is
@bsturnzz
Mind reader - in a world where soulmates can receive each other's thoughts, the character has been getting thoughts of someone else. They try to find the person whose thoughts they are getting
or one day the thoughts get scary thinking they need help or the person is in danger and the other tries to find and save them
Breakfast Club au - based on the movie this would be so amazing omg (about a group of kids who all have differences and have detention together, one is a popular girl, the other is a nerd, etc.)
here - done by @overflowingteacupoflove
The Goonies Au - is one of my all-time favorite movies I love it so much and would be such a good au idea
Freaky Friday - the reader gets stuck in one of the triplet's bodies or vice versa (could also be kinda like the drama switched which is good btw definitely recommend it) you could add something like they have till midnight to switch back or like in switched it was something with moon phases
Assassin/ hitman - what happens when you're hired to kill someone and end up getting so close you fall in love with your target?
Escape room - you are stuck in an escape room with one of the triplets or vice versa, trying to escape it takes a sinister turn when you soon realize they planned it all (I'm a sucker for thrillers okay...)
Missing number - your loved one died and you keep texting their number because you miss them (even though it's not in service anymore) until one day they reply back
Secret Spy - You are the child of a very high authority figure (government official maybe?) you are certain someone is spying on you at school. One day there is a new student who you become friends with, but what happens when you start to suspect they are the one spying on you
Offline - you've been texting with your online friend for weeks now, getting super close and you guys are planning to meet soon. When one day they mysteriously go offline. Not answering your calls or texts, you begin to get worried.
Little artist - your child has been drawing and painting pictures ever since they were young, one day they come to you with a family portrait. They drew a little family, you laugh at first when you see the drawing of a man labeled "daddy" ( or mommy) knowing your child doesn't know their father. Until you look a little closer and it looks like the famous influencer (one of the triplets or vice versa)
TBHK - there's a ghost stuck in the girl's bathroom on the third floor of your school (based on the anime toilet-bound Hanako) you heard he has magic powers
Find my killer - you're a college student (or vice versa) taking a criminology class, for your final project you have to investigate and try to solve a cold case. you learn that the case has been unsolved for years, and the person is deemed deceased. But as you investigate you start to wonder whether there is more than meets the eye?
Laundry mat - your washer and dryer has been acting up so you go to your local laundry mat, but every time you get your clothes out of the dryer there is always a piece of clothing missing. Your start to suspect people of stealing your clothes when you notice someone wearing your hoodie. (could be cute vice versa)
Payphone - you're stranded. but you see a payphone in the middle of nowhere, however none of the numbers work. You see a number scratched into the glass of the phone booth. You call it and someone picks up. (could be horror/thriller maybe the person who answers tries to help them escape or warns them) could be related to the black phone
Newspaper - your school has a school newspaper (or blog) no one knows who runs it. But they spread rumors about you and people start to ask questions. One day you see one of the triplets leaving the newspaper class (or vice versa) and you go to confront them
Yearbook - while you're looking through your yearbook you notice a picture of someone who you have never seen before, there is no name underneath so you think it's pretty strange. You try to look them up on socials and find nothing, you ask students and teachers about them, and nothing. They might as well not exist. That is until you start seeing them around the school, they always seem to disappear right when you go to talk to them.
Love Spell - you're a wizard or witch, you often make spells. You love your best friend. But they don't love you back so you try to make a love spell/potion to cast on them. But what happens when the spell backfires and they end up falling for your best friend instead? (angst)
or the spell backfires and you end up casting the spell on yourself and start to fall for your best friend's brother?
or the spell backfires and they become overly obsessed with you (horror/thriller)
The other Zoey - what happens when you get in an accident causing you to lose all your memories, even the memory of your boyfriend. here - done by @bsturnzz
or you are dared to ask the school "weirdo" to prom (could be one of the triplets or vice versa) you soon find out they are actually really sweet and you start to develop feelings (romance + angst?)
The exorcist - the whole town is convinced you passed, so what happens when they kidnap you and force you into a ritual. more so what happens when the exorcist doing the practice tries to save you? (idk but could be good)
Cut the cameras - you are an actress and are playing in a movie with your costar (one of the triplets or vice versa) in a romance movie. But what happens when you start to develop real feelings for them off-screen?
Mailbox - you are just learning to drive when you accidentally get lost not knowing the directions. And to your luck, you crash into someone's mailbox. A very wealthy person's mailbox that you definitely can not afford to repair. They offer to hire you as their maid until you pay off your debts. What happens when they start to see you as more than a maid?
or one of the triplets (or vice versa) is the child of a wealthy person and you fall in love with them.
"You have to marry your third @" - in which a silly little game actually comes true. one day you were scrolling on your phone when you saw a post saying you have to marry the third person that comes up when you mention someone. That someone being the and only Matt sturniolo (or Chris), you mention him thinking nothing of it. He probably won't see it anyway. To your surprise you hear a knock on your door the next morning It's him. "Babe, what are you doing? the weddings in an hour!" he says as you look him up and down noticing he's dressed like a groom
The girl/boy stuck in the TV - one day you're watching your favorite show when your program gets interrupted and it's a clip of someone you've never seen before. The end of the world - the world is ending?? When you were 16 (or vice versa) you made a huge list of things you wanted to do before you turned 22 and now here you are 21 years old. your birthday is in three weeks but who knows if the world will end before then. alt title "Small talk"
or you could make the reader go on the triplets tour (where they find the diary and make a TikTok about it or something trying to find the person) or one of them picks it up and starts to read the pages not noticing the mic is on while they are doing sound checks and everyone hears what you wrote about them

"Pedriiii - Part II"
Pairing: Pedri Gonzalez x singlemom!Oc
Theme: fluff, angst
N/A: And here is part two, I hope it lives up to your expectations. I would like to thank each like, comment, reblog, and ask about this imagine. I'm happy that you liked it as much as I enjoyed writing it, and I love seeing your reactions. Again, this chapter turned out huge, but I needed every part to make sense. I hope you enjoy it and fall a little more in love with these three.
Warnings: Men being inconvenient in this chapter, people making a child cry.

Pedri was in a mood; he was training alone in the academy because Gavi did him a favor by opening up to the entire team about his meeting with the woman from the nightclub, who turns out to work for Barça. And now all of the guys were messing with him, especially after Gavi spilled about the ring that was shining on her finger. Seriously, Gavi needs to return playing ASAP because Pedri can't deal anymore with the boy gossip phase.
"Are you sad today?" The little boy asked the player, taking his attention from the movie he was watching on his iPad. "I can bring M&Ms for us; Mom put some packages in her purse, I think she's sad too," he says pouting.
"I'm fine, buddy, just focused. But why is your mother sad? Did something happen?" Pedri asked curiously. In one of the many conversations he had with the little boy, he discovered that the little boy's mother worked for the team, but Pedri hadn't had the opportunity to meet her yet.
"I don't know; Father is supposed to take me this week. Then he screams at her and then at me, and they fight." Pedri swallows the knot in his throat as he sees the little boy's eyes watering; something hurts inside him for seeing the little boy like that.
"You know, those M&M's we were craving for, we finally get to have them," he says in an attempt to cheer up the little boy.
"No way, for real??" He jumped excitedly, and Pedri smiled at him.
"I swear. I'm going with Gavi after the training to get them." Pedri fixed the cap on Axel's head.
"You guys aren't going to eat them without me, right?" He pointed the finger at Pedri, trying to make an angry face.
"What, of course not? I'll bring them for you tomorrow, and also, I wouldn't eat them with Gavi; I'm angry at him," Pedri says as he starts to get his things ready to leave the academy.
"Why?" Axel asks curiously.
"Because he has a big mouth," the boy gasped, looking at Pedri.
"So he would eat everything," Axel says, worried, and Pedri laughs at his reaction.
"Yeah, something like that, buddy."
*****************************************
"Axel, I swear, it's been days since the last time I gave you candy; you shouldn't be this energetic," Isa asked as she watched her child jump from one chair to another. The boy stops, with a little smile on his face, and then back to his jumping games. Isa looks suspiciously at her child.
"Axel..." She calls, getting close to the boy. "You didn't eat any candy, right?" She holds the boy, stopping him from jumping anymore. He looks at her, his head tilts to the side, and a mischievous smile emerges on his little face, the dimples in his cheeks showing up. "Axel Harver," she says unbelievably as she starts to tickle him, his laughs getting louder and louder.
"Mom, stop. Please stoooop, Moooommy." She lets him go, letting him catch his breath.
"Little boy, little boy. I already told your grandfather not to give you too many candies." She kisses his head.
"It was for my friend; I couldn't let him eat alone," the boy said simply, and she smiled at him. Sometimes she couldn't believe how smart he was for his young age.
"No, you couldn't," she smiles, looking at the time on her watch; it was time to go home.
"Get your things; it's time for us to go home." The little boy ran to get his bag.
"Can we stop by Pops?" He asked excitedly.
"Of course, it's been two days since the last time you saw him; you guys are probably getting sick already," she says ironically at the boy, who had his grandfather on his little finger.
"He says that I could start Barça school after my birthday, so I'll be a La Masia boy, mom." The boy says excitedly as they walk towards the parking lot. He and his grandfather had been planning that moment for over a year; the excitement of both was evident. Honestly, Isa was still insecure about the idea of him wanting to be a player; she was too jealous for that, and modestly aside, her son was adorable, he would definitely get some attention. "You think I could play with my friend?" She looks down at her son.
"Well, probably, he's going to Barça school too?" She asked, as she had heard more than once about this friend of his.
"No, in the first team," he says simply. She looks confused at him.
"Well, I think it would take time for you both to be there; maybe you even change your mind about being a player." Her boy made a disgusted face.
"Axel, you are having so much attitude lately."
"But he's already there," he ignores what she is saying. She stops, looking at him.
"Wait, in the first team? Your friend?" The boy nodded happily. "The friend you spend the day with?" He nodded again, as his little eyes focused on something behind her.
"Are you befriending the players?" She asks, but she doesn't get his attention, as he seems to focus on the thing behind her before she can turn to see what he's looking at. He snaps out of his trance.
"Pedriiii!" he screams, and he runs away from her. She was pretty sure that her eyes were going to pop out as she heard the name. She then turned to see where her boy was going, catching a glimpse of him jumping excitedly into the player's arms.
"You've got to be kidding me," she says to herself.
*****************************************
"That friend of Aurora's is really into you," Gavi says to Pedri, who rolls his eyes. "You should give her a chance."
"I'm not interested; she's not my type." Gavi smiled wide at his friend, ready to comment, but was cut off by the boy who jumped at Pedri.
"Hi Pedri, hi Gavi." The little boy high-fived the two players.
"Hey little guy, no Gavi shirts today?" Gavi asked, getting an eye roll from Pedri.
"No. My mother said I should wear other clothes from time to time," he says with a sad smile, receiving a laugh from both players. "Are you going to get my candy?"
"Yes, I will. Are you here alone?" Pedri asked worriedly. He was used to meeting the boy alone inside the training center or the stadium, but the thought of the little boy running alone by the parking lot gave him shivers.
"Nooo, with mommy, Silly," he says, laughing as if Pedri had told him the funniest joke. Before Pedri could look around to search for the child's mother, his senses were clouded by the familiar scent of perfume that had been stuck in his mind for the past few days.
"Axel, what have I told you about running away from me like that? You can't let go of my hand on the street," the woman said in a sweet yet reprimanding voice.
"I know, Mom, but I had to talk to my friend," the little boy says in an even sweeter voice as he hugs the woman's legs. Pedri was absorbed in their interaction, while the woman's eyes stared at him. He simply couldn't believe it.
"Hi, Isa. Cute kid you have; now I can see the similarities," Gavi was the one to break the silence.
"Thanks, Pablo; he is the cutest." Pedri saw her eyes shine proudly as she looked at the boy, and honestly, Pedri felt dizzy.
"Hey, Pedri. I need to take my mother home and take her to a place," Gavi calls for Pedri.
"Ok, Let's Go! Bye Axel," Pedri wave a quick good bye to the little one, ignoring his mother.
"NO! You can't come, it's personal," Gavi says almost desperately, getting an intrigued look from Pedri.
"Gavira, I spent months taking you to every place; you owe me," Pedri says feeling annoyed as he watches his teammate head to his car.
"Sorry, brother. Ask one of the boys."
"We can take you!" The little voice says behind him. "Right mom, right? We can take him, pleeeease, we can take him, riiiiight?" He says as he jumps, pushing his mother's blazer, whose face was getting red.
"I don't know, we are going to Pops, and he probably doesn't want it."
"Of course he wants," Gavi says almost screaming.
"Aren't you leaving?" The three ask at the same time to the youngest, who looks amused as he gets in his car, leaving the parking lot.
"So you're coming with us, right? Right, mommy?" The woman only nodded, taking the kid in her arms and heading to her car. Pedri follows right beside them; he watches as she puts the little boy in the car seat.
"Axel, stop moving," she murmurs at the chatty boy. Once she finishes fixing it, she takes a step back, expecting to close the door, but ends up bumping into Pedri, who was holding the door. With a push, he closes the door, trapping Isa between him and the car. He takes a breath watching her beautiful face, but then he remembers something that was bugging his mind.
"Is your husband coming with us?" He says in a hushed tone just for her to hear. She opens her mouth to reply but nothing comes out; she brushes past Pedri and gets into the car. Pedri runs his hands through his face; he would kill Gavira.
"Aren't you getting in? We are late," she says annoyingly after rolling down the car window. Pedri grumbles and heads for the passenger door.
*****************************************
There was so much tension inside the car, of course imperceptible to the little one who chatted incessantly in the back seat, telling things to his mother, asking questions to Pedri, and singing along to the songs playing on the radio. Despite the many conversations he had with the little one, Pedri hadn't realized how talkative he was; perhaps the presence of the other players made him feel shy. Pedri returned to his conversations with the boy, noticing the mannerisms he had and now could see how much he resembled his mother: the sweet way of speaking, the sweet and welcomed smile, the dimples on his cheeks when he smiled. Pedri was feeling something strange; the presence of the woman clouded his feelings.
"Pedriiiii," Axel's voice snapped his attention back. Pedri turned in his seat to face the younger one.
"Yes, buddy?"
"Mommy is talking to you." The child pointed to the woman driving. Pedri redirected his focus to her, who glanced at him briefly before returning her attention to the road.
"You didn't tell us your address," she said calmly, the velvety tone of her voice sending shivers down Pedri's spine.
"Um, actually, you can drop me off at this store downtown," he showed her the address. "My brother will pick me up there."
"We can drop you home."
"No, I don't want to cause you any trouble," he couldn't help the sharpness in his tone, and he saw the woman wince and just murmur a little and almost inaudible 'ok'.
After a few minutes, they arrived at the candy store.
"Wait here for a minute," he told the woman, hurrying out of the car as quickly as he could to retrieve his order from the store.
*****************************************
"Oh my God, he's really going to get them," Isa looked at the back seat, seeing her son looking outside where the player walked towards a store, a fascinated look on his face.
"What, Axel?" She asked curiously, not used to Axel admiring someone else like that; normally, he was a shy child around strangers.
"Our candies," he said excitedly. "The ones we wanted but couldn't find, with different flavors."
"Did you ask him?" She turned to look at him, trying not to sound like she was reprimanding him.
"No, he wanted them too. And since I'm his friend, he's going to share them with me, because he likes me, Mom, he really likes me." Isa felt her throat tighten, and her eyes filled with tears. Words could hurt, especially when said to a child. She didn't know what to say to him, but the little boy's excitement comforted her heart.
"Here, buddy, we finally got them," the player gets into the car, snapping Isa out of her thoughts; she silently watches their interaction and how happy her son is. "Are you taking them to practice tomorrow?" Pedri asked as he stroked the child's cheek.
"YEEEEES!" Axel shouted excitedly.
"Alright, see you tomorrow then!" He said smiling at the little boy and then turned to the woman beside him. "Thanks for the ride."
"Thank you for this," she said honestly. "You have no idea what this means." The player furrowed his brows in confusion and then exited the car.
*****************************************
The feeling of returning to training with the rest of the team was a great relief, especially when there was the possibility of returning to play soon. Pedri felt ready; the medical department had already cleared him to drive, but they still wanted to postpone his return to the fields. And as eager as he was, he wanted to follow the guidance of the professionals. But still, knowing that he could return to playing soon gave him extra motivation in his recovery.
Pedri was eager to share the news with his little friend, who longed for his return even more than he did himself, but it had been almost a week since the last time he saw the boy. He wouldn't admit it out loud, but he missed the boy running to meet him after training. He thought about asking about him to the boy's mother, but every time he saw her, the ring gleamed on her finger. Pedri didn't want to make a big deal out of it; after all, it was a one-night stand, but he couldn't deny that he was affected. The remnants of that night were vivid in his mind, and knowing that the woman was committed spoiled the images for him.
"You know, for someone who wants to seem indifferent, you're terrible at hiding it," Gavi whispers beside him as they watch the woman approaching with the film crew.
"Hello, boys," she says with a sweet smile.
"Hello, Isa," Gavi greets excitedly and nudges his friend to do the same, but Pedri just nods slightly, which seems to frustrate the woman. She kept her gaze on the player's face, reading every detail as if searching for an opening to say something.
"Here are your lines," she says after a few minutes of silence, handing over the cue cards with the ready-made phrases they needed to record for the Barça One promotion. "It'll be quick," she says, moving behind the man handling the camera, and soon the rest of the crew went to prepare the players.
Gavi was the first to record, while Pedri amused himself watching. Gavi hated these kinds of activities, so something that could normally be quick ended up taking longer because of him. Pedri's attention is stolen when his eyes fall on the woman, who is watching the recordings while making some notes in a notebook and speaking to the cameraman. As if sensing Pedri's eyes, she turns to face him and then walks slowly towards him, stopping by his side.
"You said you didn't know who I was that night," the player says quietly so only the woman can hear him. She looked back at him, her confidence in facing him as if challenging him bringing back memories.
"Are you talking to me now?" She asks in an ironic tone. "And I never said I didn't know who you were, I just said I didn't care," she says convincingly, and there it was, the sharp tongue and tone from that night, the player thought.
"That's not how it seemed, just like the part about being married," Pedri smiles proudly having retorted in the same tone, but the woman's furious look makes the smile disappear.
"It's not like that, and if you didn't keep avoiding me every time I show up, you'd know," she turns her attention back to Gavi's recording.
"You just had to say 'Hey, I have a husband,' it's not that hard," he says as he moves away from her."
*****************************************
Isa didn't want to go out that night, in weeks like that she gets in a terrible mood, there were right and wrong days, and that was a wrong one. But her work friends were eager for a night out , and they kept saying how good it would be for her since she was an ocean of anxiety. So there she was, sitting in the bar watching her friends dancing excitedly, she didn't want to go dance, not yet at least, she still wasn't feeling at her best to enjoy the night like that.
"Hey doll, can I buy you a drink?" A man comes to her side, she looks at him uninterested.
"No, thanks," she says simply, backing at watching her friends.
"C'mon, it's just a drink." He holds her arm getting close to her face.
"I don't want it." she says firmly.
"Oh, don't play hard to get," he touched her hair. "you are too pretty to be here alone." He insisted with a flirtatious smile.
"She's not here alone." The familiar voice cut before she could answer the man. "Take your hands out of my girlfriend" he says in a warning tone, making the woman gasp, Isa looks around to see if there are eyes on them, but for their luck, no one is paying attention.
"You? Her boyfriend? No way." The man laughs looking at Isa. "Aren't him like one of the Barça kids?" Isa saw Pedri's face turning red, and before he could answer she took him by the waist, getting him away from the inconvenient man.
****************************************
The moment he saw the woman enter the bar, he just knew that he shouldn't have accepted Ferran's invitation to the nightclub. Because from that moment, his attention were on her, just like the first night. He tried his best to try to look uninterested, he even tried to speak and dance with a girl who was in their VIP area. But his eyes kept stealing glances at the woman, and the moment he saw a man on her side, he made his choice, going right into her.
He didn't have the time to answer the man who called him a kid, he had an answer for that, a good one that Isa herself could confirm, but her hand putting him away was distracting, the power she had over him was driving him crazy.
"Barça would end us, especially me, if I let the image of one of their golden boys get messed up because of some nightclub confusion" Pedri looked at the woman's face, her big brown eyes were soft and just like always, were mapping all his face.
The people around them didn't seem to notice who he was especially how they weren't dancing to the rhythm of the music playing. Pedri's hand was over her waist going up and down, she passed her manicured hand by her hair and the action made the smell of her perfume travel to his nose, automatically he bent down to her neck, smelling her inebriated perfume, like someone addicted. The woman was blinding his senses. He thought that the remaining images of their night, which kept playing as a movie in his mind were just the carnal feeling of a good night, but now he was afraid that it was something more, since the fact that only the idea of watching her gets all his attention, and we're everything about her, literally everything.
"Let's get out of here" she murmurs in his ears.
He didn't answer, he only took her by the hand to get out of the club.
That's how they ended up in the hotel room again, they didn't talk, the actions of the desire were speaking for them, Pedri was tasting every piece of her, like a starving man, like it was the last thing he would do. And deep down he thought that maybe it was the last thing, cause a noise kept ringing in his mind, remember him about the ring on her finger. And that makes him snapped at realization, he took the woman's hand who was holding his hair as if she depended on it, and there was no signal of the commitment. He kisses her hand then her mouth, and then all over her breast. She kept murmuring and saying things he couldn't understand, her face was all messed up because of her red lipstick, and he was sure he had the vestiges in his face too.
"You remember what you said to me that night?" He asked her, her eyes looking at him with such intensity that he felt at his chest. She smiles, her cheeks getting more red.
"That you should stop flirting with me 'cause i was hard to forget." She said with a lazy smile as she kissed his face.
"Well you were right"
"I am always right, I said that too, when you call me an arrogant, knowing-all b*tch."
As Pedri was to answer, the woman's phone rang, she picked it up from the bedside table, and the name "Henry" showed on screen, making Pedri rudely distance himself from her. She rolls her eyes as she answers the call, and soon her face turns pale, Pedri watches her with worry.
"What happened? Baby..." She gets up from the bad, "Do not cry, please, don't cry. Mommy it's going to pick you up, my Axel." Her choked voice and the mention of the name make Pedri stand up and approach the woman, who was trembling nervously.
"Let me talk to someone," she says, Pedri stops in front of her. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH HIM? HE IS JUST A CHILD!" she screamed sterically, her voice full of pain, making Pedri holding her arms, and try to calm her down. "That always happens, every time, he's just a baby, and every time you guys do this to him." She goes silent for a moment, Pedri felt his heart beating so hard that he could hear the thuds echoing in his ears. "I'll go get him" she says firmly, " I don't care how late it is. I'm not leaving my son like this." She ends the call and then throws the phone on the bed, her hands covering her face as she collapses and cries uncontrollably. Pedri embraces her, his chest full of concern for the woman and the little boy.
"Isa, what happened? Is Axel hurt?" he asks.
"I need to go," she says, stepping away from the player.
"I'm coming with you" She pushed Pedri away.
"No, you're not, you don't need to." She says coldly.
"I'm not letting you go anywhere alone, not in this state," he says firmly as he gathers their things around the room. Isa looks at him with apprehension and suspicion. Pedri couldn't understand her action. He holds the door, waiting for her to leave the room, and then she huffs in frustration and follows him outside.
Once in the car, Pedri gives her his hoodie that was in the backseat of his car, as thanks to him, the woman's dress was ruined. He drives to the address she had given him, the journey in complete silence except for the sound of the woman typing incessantly on her phone. As they arrive at the destination, Isa takes a deep breath and then looks at the player.
"Pedri, please, promise me, no matter what you see or hear, you don't leave the car, understood? Or you'll make things difficult for me." The desperation in the woman's voice made Pedri's stomach sick; not knowing what was happening was making him desperate. "You'll make things difficult for Axel," she says before he could say anything. And, reluctantly, Pedri agrees with the woman, as he would never do anything to harm the child.
He watches as the woman gets out of the car and rushes into the yard of a house, calling out for Axel. A blond woman emerges from the house and points a finger at Isa. They engage in a heated discussion, but he cannot hear their words. Then he sees Isa push the woman and hastily enter the house. Everything falls silent for a few minutes, and his heart races so fast that he wonders how he hasn't had a heart attack yet. After a few minutes, he sees Isa emerging from the house, holding Axel in her arms. She walks briskly towards the car, with the blond woman following her, screaming insults. Isa quickly jumps into the car with Axel, and the back door closes behind them.
"You can go now," she says, and Pedri turns around to look at her. Her face is red from crying. Pedri starts the car and drives away, not knowing exactly where to go, but deciding to wait before asking as Isa is talking to Axel. "It's okay, love. You're okay now." She says in a calm voice, trying to calm down the little boy.
"I don't want to come back, I don't want to stay with them, they're all mean to me," he cried so hard that Pedri stopped the car, deeply concerned for the kid, as he had never seen him cry like that before.
"You don't have to, Mommy promises you won't go back there, at least if it's something you want." Pedri turns to look at them, observing the woman wiping the tears from the little one's face and giving him a tight hug. Their eyes meet, and Pedri sees so much pain in hers.
"What's going on? This is tearing me apart," he says as he gestures towards them.
"Pedriiii?" Axel spun so quickly to look at the player that Pedri feared he had snapped his neck. He leaped from Isa's arms to the front seat and hugged Pedri tightly. Pedri simply held him back, while Isa looked on in complete awe at her son's rapid change of mood.
"I'll finally be able to eat my candies," the little boy says with a sweet excited voice.
"Axel!!" Isa says laughing at the boy's innocence.

N/A: SOOOOOO, what did you guys think? Writing the last part, breaks my heart, because I know their situation, me being mean for not telling you guys 😏
So, the next chapter will be the penultimate one, and then there will be the final one, and then the bonus. As mentioned in the previous chapter. Of course, it all depends on how much the characters are talking to me as well...

can i request a fluffy fic with dom and a celebrity reader with his younger sister ILY🤍
i love you baby thank you for the request!!
x
"apple, show them your fit. you're gonna eat them all up. you know your mama be killin' it." you take the young girl's hand and give her a little twirl in the camera. you have been on live for the past fifteen minutes with dom and his sister in their kitchen, just for some entertainment and to catch up with the fans.
"my mom? i dress myself." apple looks you up and down and in shock all you do is raise your hands in surrender.
"my bad." you laugh, resting your back against the kitchen, letting the girl entertain the audience as she pleased, just keeping an eye on her.
you just posted your trailer for your newest movie on your instagram and the reception was actually better than you expected for it being so out of your usual work. you were usually typecasted as a more naive character but this project was anything but, playing a blunt and adventurous badass. ecstatic might be too light of a word for what you were feeling. you couldn't wait for this to come out. and dom was all for it. he might even be more ecstatic than you with the way he supported you so publicly and proudly.
dom was out of the camera's view, just scrolling on his phone. you and him had answered some questions earlier so you didn't mind, you know he wasn't on social media much these days. apple, on the other hand, was soaking up the attention. the little one was all up close to the tripod, reading nearly all the comments and talking to them.
"stop telling dom to take his shirt off." apollonia sassed, making you laugh, your head tipping back. dom smiled, looking up from his phone and poking his head into the camera, curls spilling everywhere.
"it's okay, apple. my sex appeal is part of my charm." he shakes his head, fixing his curls and smoldering into the lens. you shake your head, grabbing him and pulling him to you, wrapping your arms around him.
"okay, that's enough." you laugh, kissing his cheek and he drapes his self onto you, making sure he doesn't place all his weight on you. he's gained at least twenty pounds in muscle in record time. he's still lanky but you don't think the wind could blow him away anymore.
you rub his bicep comfortingly, just checking him and making sure he's okay. you know his social battery can need recharging when you do things like this. you would consider yourself a little more well-known than him in the public eye, not able to go out without security or a disguise. he was getting there in status but he could still run to the store and not be recognized if he was careful enough. so you always make sure he's not getting too overwhelmed or anxious. nodding, he lets you know he's okay, burying his head in your neck. you rub his back and kiss the top of his head, just holding him for the moment.
"someone asked how dom feels about y/n's love interest in the new movie." apple looks back at you guys, used to you guys being so touchy to the point where it doesn't phase her anymore. you just smirk and shake your head, knowing the comments are just trying to rile up dominic.
dominic picks his head up, "i let bro know i been in the gym. that's all i have to say." and drops his head again.
you roll your eyes.

Gavv ep2
oh boy I get to watch this next to my husband I can't wait for his input
I think it's funny that we don't get to see unmasked rider actually like. riding the bikes anymore. it's so obvious they're not riding the bikes and they're actually just sitting there while being pulled
the cgi is so bad can someone please give the minions some shadows?
girl's cute tho
gavv has such a strong visual identity. it's brightly coloured but in a way that's gavv, not anything else. I like.
heisei phase 1 you could learn something from Reiwa about visual identity.
shouma you need to learn what is edible. even though I want to know what happens if you eat something inedible
… shouma on edibles sounds fucking hilarious. Child should not have edibles
okay but imagine the minions he'd create from eating one
I like this look into the Stomach family but FUCKING HELL pay your cgfx people and stop overworking them. the cgi looks terrible
immediately to the sweets. Shouma, please at least try the other food
he already knows how to use chopsticks better than Ankh did.
so what's the food to minion ratio? If we just stuff him with potato chips do we get a building full of minions?
"I'm great with manual labour" and after hearing one of their workers got away… ow, Shouma
shouma works on minimum of 125% doesn't he
that kid's a good bean. not giving anything away about shouma's identity
okay yeah hearing about how Shouma never got snacks before and how his mom used to wax poetic about them while eating what looks like liquified shit definitely is depressing
I love Sachika and will die for her
SHOUMA IS SO BABY
LITTLE DUDES STOP BEING UNDERFOOT
oh shit that was disturbingly efficient. And it still looks like a bloody organ
there's definitely something super special about it being a red gavv
FUCK okay so FUCK his transformation is just………… jfc, the way his eyes go wide and he pitches forward like he's about to faint.
I'm liking the way the granute of the week acts like just a normal person towards Shouma, and OH BOY YOU HIT A BERSERK BUTTON OFFERING TO SPLIT THE PAY
shouma stop destroying the warehouse just to figure out how your power up works
shouma and his brightly coloured gear has to be a funny ass sight to see in the middle of the night like that
new power up next episode…
husband fell asleep so no input from him
