So I'm so behind and just watched Hamilton for the first time on Disney+. I've mostly fallen down the Laurens-Hamilton love letters rabbit hole, blame a certain fictional character name Alexander Claremont Diaz. *I love ACD sosososo much I'm so sad we lost the emails of that sort in the movie*

ANYWHO this song starring George Washington and it gives me giant Kallus vibes in the worst ways. The moment I heard these lyrics it was so sad.

Like Kallus definitely relates to young-ish(edit:not that I view Kallus as being too young on Onderon, late 20s? I view him, Eli Vanto, and Tarkin’s stormtrooper boyfriend as all being about the same age. Kal’s the oldest, by maybe three years, then Eli and Sev are 2 years apart. Rough estimates as I don’t have any timelines in front of me), first command, being forced to watch their deaths. It's really sad how much it relates. But some stuff is universal, be it 1700s or scifi Star Wars ca. 12-10 BBY. Failing your troops and never entirely forgiving yourself for it.
