What's uppp it's been months since you asked this because I forgot to answer but I love this question!

Okay my favorites of all time:

Merlin/Arthur (BBC Merlin) - they're my forever OTP. Literally two sides of the same coin, they captured my heart a long time ago and will never leave.

Buffy/Spike (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) - they have a very complicated relationship but it's so interesting to me and I think they really understand each other in certain ways that others around them can't see.

Bakugou/Midoriya (My Hero Academia) - I started watching this a year ago and now I'm obsessed with them (embarrassing for me I know). Their relationship (whether you view it as platonic or romantic) is in many ways the core of the story and they are also just very obsessed with each other to an extreme degree.

Lyra/Will (His Dark Materials) - I read this at a very formative age and it's one of the most beautiful and tragic love stories I've ever read. Highly recommend if you love anti-religious themes and getting your heart broken.

Alight, i'm a bit mad and we need to disguss something, so @f4iry-bell and me made some joke about Grayson being a virgin, since yk he never gets girl and he's just that type of person that would secretly being a virgin..BUT DAMN WHY ARE PEOPLE SO PRESEED??😭😭💀

I think i should take my words back about how i said that TIG fandom isn't toxic on this platform, bcs why are we so..idk..mad and frustrated by the fact that people are just having fun and headcanons? Bcs first it was Lyra, some of us were just exited that we were going to get a new character and potentially Grayson's love interested, so we just made some silly headcanons and fanfics about her, and some of y'all were prolly mad, i uderstand that you may don't like her, that's fine, since we don't know almost anything about her character, but we are you attacking someone who's just trying to have fun, saying "you shouldn't ship them" "i hate her" "y'all are delusional"...let people have fun, it's not that deep.

THEN when we started joking about Gray being a virgin, suddenly we're disrespecting author and invalaiding a book character's privacy?? BFFR..don't say things that doesn't make sense, first of all, people can post whatever they want, they can post fancasts, Fanfics, Silly hcs about idk..a book character's fav book, fav movie, what would dating them be like and even about sex life, bec guess what..we can. And it's not a crime to do so, we're not in 19th century to taboo this theme. And it's no disrespect to the author by the way, which if you look at JLB's intagram you'll understand, bec she says some "naughty" thing about the plot and the characters (and on last year's live she named condom brands each brothee would use and it was hilarious). Some of you are just dramatic, bec if we, TIG fandom are doing "too much" then you haven't been in many fandoms for sure.

And one again, i want to say that making a silly jokes about a book character's sex life, does no harm, nor to you, nor to the author, and especially it does no harm to the character themself, in this situation Grayson, because again, he's FICTIONAL. F-I-C-T-I-O-N-A-L. (i'll spelled it, in case you don't understand.)

Anyone in any fandom can freely talk about anything. And talking about character's sex life doesn't mean you have no respect for the author, unless they publiclly say it makes them uncomfortabe or something, and i don't remember JLB saying that.

And the most funny thing is that i've seen people make hcs about how each brother would be in the bad, how would they act when they're horny, their favourite position,nothing is wrong with them, but i've never seen anyone making drama about it, but when we say Grayson Hawthorne is a virgin suddenly some of you feel like we're disrespecting author...you know what? I have this tiny little feeling you find Grayson attractive but you don't like virgins and that's why you're making drama about it..and that's honestly..embarassing.

Author's always say "the other is up to your representation and imagination" and that's why we make HC, fanfics, fancasts, theories.

So please, don't make drama out of everything, learn to have fun and if you don't know how to, let people have fun

Tig couples and whether or not I think they'll take their partners' last name when they get married.

Avery & Jameson: I 100% think Jameson would take Avery's last name. While I know Avery doesn't like her dad, she definitely must hate Tobias way more. The man quite literally used her as bait to protect his boys, so I don't think she wants the fortune to go back to the Hawthorne last name which would happen if she takes Jameson's last name. I don't really think he would mind, he would understand why.

Libby & Nash: I think that in this case Libby will take Nash's last name. I know Nash wants to stay the hell away from the Hawthorne last name, yet I think that for Libby changing her last name would be like letting go all the suffering she faced when she was younger, her father, mother and drake. So I think they both would rather keep the Hawthorne name.

Max & Xander: In my opinion, they will also choose the Hawthorne last name. I don't really have a reason why, it is just the vibes they give me. Also, Xander, despite all, loves Tobias. While Tobias wasn't the greatest Grandpa for the other boys, he was sort of acceptable with him, so I think he'll keep the last name.

Thea & Rebecca: I don't have much to say here more than BURN THE LAUGHLIN LAST NAME TO THE GROUND! I only like Becs from that family, so yeah Rebecca Calligaris it is.

Grayson & Lyra: ( I ship them so...) Neither will change their last name. I don't think Grayson wants to be anything more than a Hawthorne, and Lyra had her life screwed by a Hawthorne, so I don't think she will want that. Either each of them keep their last name or they'll choose a hyphenated surname like: Hawthorne-Kane or Kane-Hawthorne. If they have kids of course they will have both last names (just like I do, in my country we don't change our surname when we get married).

-Jeff The Killer: 20

Jeff got burned at the age of 15, at his most important birthday. His parents were seeing a therapist while Liu was still in prison, and his therapist made a suggestion to Jeff's parents to organize a birthday party for cheering Jeff up. Jeff can never forget the day he was burned alive because his whole life was shaped by it. That's why he hates his own birthday and attacks if anyone tries to celebrate besides Liu.

Clockwork's most important birthday is the 17th age. Because that was the first year she wasn't on her own. Jeff, Toby, Nina were close friends of Clockwork at the time and each had their own small-scale celebration. For the first time, Clockwork didn't hate her own birthday. That's how she got into the habit of celebrating other people's birthdays, if she felt good about something stupid like that, the people who cared about her might also deserve to feel good in a stupid way, or something like that.

According to Brian, the most important birthday is the one he celebrated at the age of 10. His family had taken him to see a theater as a gift, and little Brian was so impressed that he was literally obsessed with theater performances and musicals after that show. Even though 10-year-old Brian is the reason why he is where he is right now, Hoodie never blames him for following his dream.

Toby doesn't remember all of his memories, and although most of the time his memories are more like pieces, he knows that two women named Lyra and Connie are worth worlds to him. And every time the fragments of that birthday come in front of him, he feels nothing but happiness.

While nostalgia might definitely play a role, the Silver fans I know like him bc of the plot potential of him being Giovanni's son and the subtle character arc he goes through. He never abandons his Pokemon despite calling them weak, gets the classic Golbat friendship evolution, his arrogance reads more like trying to prove a point to himself bc of Gio literally leaving him in a random parking lot at age 8-9. A lot of his speech actually mirrors what Rocket grunt NPCs tell you in-game. The switch from saying "I" to "we." The Dragon's Den, Dad Lance adoption speedrun everybody likes. I suppose there's also the potential "Red/Leaf are related to Gio" theory with the Scientist Gideon mistaking us for Gio's kid, until remembering the red hair bit. I always assumed it was bc we shared those facial features, or the eye color. Another possibility is that Silver was on that island and we were the only kid the scientist ran into, which raises the theory that he's been watching the player hiding in Gio's office somewhere the whole time. If you're a Chikorita!Silver truther, its evolutions pokedex mimics him too. Meganium, the final evo, releases a soothing scent. Bayleef, the midway journey, releases a scent that makes you want to fight. I know there's a lot of analysis ppl have done, but this is all I can remember off the top of my head. Now I'm wondering how the relationship between the KanJoh generation is written, how does their story play out? Is it just like the games, with Green going @/Lyra like he did with Red, "you look kind of like her...just a bit."

Oh, what a detailed message! But I believe the reason why I seem so "chill" with shipping as a concept is due to the fact I haven't forgotten this is meant to be a fun activity. I personally perceive Silver as a fascinating character for all the above reasons and more. Nostalgia also doesn't exactly affect my view of him since I didn't have the opportunity to play HeartGold and SoulSilver until relatively recently.

But with how strangely members of the fanbase behaved towards Kieran before the release of The Indigo Disk, as well as Volo in ways I don't even want to discuss here, I couldn't help wondering if Silver is lucky enough to escape that sort of discourse simply due to the time period he was introduced to the series.

It's actually interesting you ask about the relationship between the Kanto and Johto characters in Sisterhood, because I wrote a post just the other night involving Leaf, Green, Kotone, and Silver which I intend to share sometime soon.

5. What’s something you learned while researching a fic?

Honestly, research is like, half of writing fic for me lmao. So, here's a mini list!

– While apraxia of speech mainly affects speech, it can also affect fine motor skills! While it isn't a symptom 100% of the time, it can help with diagnostics, especially when other childhood speech disorders are being considered.

– There are so many different types of synesthesia?? Like, I figured there was at least 1 for every crossover of senses, so like 25, but there are so many more!! Sound-visual synesthesia can be broken up into specifics like music-color synesthesia, or just voice-color. Or music-shape and voice-shape. The amount of specifics is fascinating.

– Arbitrary vs. Descriptive Name Signs! I about sign names and a tiny bit of Deaf culture before fics, but I didn't know there were different types!

I love learning :D

10. Is there a character or ship you'd love to write for, but haven't yet?

There are many. Outside of Pokémon, I really love the Legend of Zelda series, so I'd love to write Link as a character (or just ZeLink in general)

Inside of Pokémon though, and SV specifically, I really want to write Crispin. He's my second favorite DLC character lmao. What a guy.

I'd also like to write redemptionshipping (Kris x Silver) in the future. I know most people like soulsilvershipping more, but I played through Crystal instead of HGSS, so it'll always be Kris over Lyra for me.

17. What is something you recently felt proud of in your writing?

Probably just finishing "Every Little Thing You Do (I Do Adore)" lol.

But on a more specific note, I'm proud that I was able to get my version of Juliana out there, and feel confident in her. I know overtime, when it comes to blank slate protagonists, fandom often comes up with an unofficial personality for them. Which isn't bad by any means! But it does give me a slight sense of anxiety in that my version of the character isn't "good enough."

A lot of people characterize Juliana as a sunshine-y, extroverted, and emotional person who talks a lot, which again, isn't bad! I can totally see it with her official Naranja/Uva art. But I've always envisioned my Juliana as a pretty much expressionless, until she blows a fuse. She doesn't show emotions because they've gotten her in bad places before, unless it's anger. She speaks louder with actions, because she can't speak at all. And she doesn't really know how to make friends, since the ones that she does have all came to her first. Which mostly comes from both the manga, and her Blueberry Academy art.

So, I'm proud of myself for not caving to my own internal pressure, lol. I thought a lot about whether I should just let her be like "fanon" personality. But I'm glad I didn't.

Finch Rambles: Pokemon/Demon Slayer AU

I believe I've talked about what Pokemon the cast of Demon Slayer would have, but I'm here now to do the inverse: What if the cast of Pokemon (specifically the Johto games) was in Demon Slayer

Main adventuring squad:

My initial idea was to have the game protags + rival (Ethan, Lyra, Kris, and Silver) be the main focus. They'll still be in the AU. However.... I decided that Falkner would work better as a protagonist for this AU.

Some notes:

A couple years ago, I made an OC named Eula, who is Falkner's younger sister. In this AU, she is the one who gets turned into a demon.

Prior to the Disaster, Falkner and Eula live with their father and their grandparents. Their mother passed away a few years earlier.

Falkner specializes in Wind-breathing as his swordfighting style. I'm not sure who would train him.

The other members of the squad:

Morty, who is one of Falkner's closest friends. He is somewhat of a loner, and can communicate with spirits. He also specializes in Mist Breathing.

Janine, a ninja and a master of Serpent-breathing. In this AU, her father Koga is the Serpent Hashira.

Eusine, the eldest of the adventuring group. (But not by very much.) He specializes in the Water-breathing sword technique.

As for the New Bark gang:

Ethan: specializes in Flame Breathing.

Lyra: specializes in Flower Breathing.

Silver: also specializes in Flame Breathing. Later switches to Dragon Breathing* upon becoming Lance's apprentice.

Kris: Specializes in Water Breathing. She later becomes Eusine's apprentice.

*I completely made up "Dragon Breathing" as a Demon Slayer combat form. If you want to use it for any of your characters, go right ahead.

Other notes:

Since Falkner/Janine is one of my favorite Pokemon ships, that will be a significant part of the AU.

I don't know if I'll actually write any fics based on this. This might just end up being a bunch of posts that I make on this webbed site.

I hope by now that you already know, but just in case you didn't, I absolutely adore this pairing! When I first started reading "Dandelion Wishes," I actually made my poor sister listen to me rant about how much I love this ship (and she hadn't even read the fic so she had no clue what I was talking about), and honestly I had more to say about them than most canon x canon Black Clover pairings, so needless to say, it is definitely canon in my mind.

William is such a sweetheart, and I can really imagine him as someone who has domestic dreams of finding love, settling down, and having a family so it warms my heart to see that he did get to have this (even if it ended in tragedy--which I will never get over. They deserved their happy ending! 😭 Even if I'll admit the angst is delicious, and their boy, Alistair, is just so precious to me).

Also, your backstory for how the two of them ended up together is just delightful. Honestly, "Dandelion Wishes" is one of my favorite fanfictions I've ever read in my life, and I have been so invested in it and in William and Zera's relationship from day one. They are so perfect for each other in my opinion, just absolutely made-for-each-other soulmates. I love how they share common interests but have a lot of balance in personality with Zera a little more headstrong and William a little more reserved. They really are in awe of each other's strengths too and have so much respect and admiration for their differences which I just adore.

Zera as a character is so vibrant and so real to me, as well. She just commands attention every time she appears, and every time she does pretty much anything, I can just vividly imagine William staring lovingly awestruck at her and zest for life with hearts in his eyes or floating around his head like in an old cartoon. (He's so in love! I'm going to cry!) Also, her quirks and the adorable way she names her plants is super endearing, and the fact that she is a florist only makes me love her more (but my family actually runs a flower shop (A/N: But I don't work there), so I think I'm very biased in this regard 😅).

I honestly don't get this intense about ships all that often, but I cannot describe to you in words how much I think about this pairing and how desperately I need them to kiss. And I mean desperately. To be perfectly honest with you, at this point, I am so invested in it that it's really hard for me to imagine William with anyone else...which concerns the more neutral, multi-shipper part of me, if I'm being honest, but this ship is just that good. Reading about them has made me laugh and cry and squeal just like (and in many cases more than) reading about any ship between canon characters, and I'm honestly just in awe of how compelling this ship and their story is. I really can't thank you enough for creating Zera, Zerilliam, and the masterpiece that is "Dandelion Wishes"! 💖

YuNeva

Aww they're cute. 😊 To be honest with you though (and I am very sorry to have to say this) in general ships with Yuno in them aren't really my cup of tea personally since I tend to see Yuno as someone who isn't all that interested in romance and (possibly) would just never really want that kind of relationship. That said, according to the Assorted Question Brigade in Vol. 31 he does have a “type” of person he likes...so who knows? Maybe someday he'll want to find love. If he did, I would definitely be supportive of that, and I'm not against the idea of shipping him. It's just not something I personally have ever given much thought to, and, for that reason, I feel pretty neutral towards Yuno ships in general and don't have many thoughts or opinions (Again, I'm sorry about that).

All of that said, if I was to imagine Yuno falling in love, YuNeva is a very sweet pairing, and they make me smile in your stories and posts about them. I really enjoyed them in COTF too! ^^ Going back to that Assorted Question Brigade I mentioned, Yuno himself described his "type" as "someone who's relaxing to be around," and that's something that really sticks out to me about his relationship with Neva. It's very comfortable and almost cozy. They just work so well together, and it feels effortless--like they just naturally gravitate towards each other and genuinely enjoy each other's company. I love that a lot, and I also love how their bond is built on mutual respect and admiration. They really support each other and the moments they can share their vulnerabilities are always very compelling to me. I also think Neva is just a great character on her own (especially her platonic bond with William. So wholesome!). I like her dynamic with Yuno a lot too and how they complement each other. I think I'm a little more invested in their friendship (because I'm weird like that), but I could definitely see them very happy together romantically and I definitely want good things for both of them, so I'd support them falling in love and think you’ve done a great job crafting their love story. 💕

Asta & Yuno

Aww I adore them, and their brotherly bond. Their dynamic and rivalry which is built on a such a strong foundation of familial love and mutual respect was what initially hooked me in Black Clover, and it has been such a delight getting to watch their individual journeys and how they have supported each other through the series. I'm getting a little emotional just thinking about it, honestly. 🥹

One of my favorite things about them is just how wildly different they are as people. Asta has such a big personality, and Yuno is so reserved, but their differences are always respected and really help inspire each other. In that way, I love that their relationship is kind of a twist on the usual rivals dynamic because it isn't just Asta trying to live up to the (quite frankly very OP) Yuno but Yuno also views Asta as his rival as well because he has so much admiration for his passion, resilience, and determination. I was not expecting that when I first watched the anime and thought it was such a refreshing reveal. I love how Yuno's genuine admiration for Asta has been such a driving force for his character throughout the series.

Fuegoleon & Nozel

Yes! I love this dynamic! Nozel being tsundere about his friendship feelings is just so entertaining, and I love to see the trope used in a platonic way instead of just an explicitly romantic one. The love between friends is really important too and can also be difficult to express sometimes, so it was really great to see Nozel kind of struggle with that and struggle with how much Fuegoleon means to him and how much he admires and respects him even if he lacks the words to say it. And yes, it was kind of played for laughs sometimes, (and my sister and I made so many "tsundere besties" jokes about them while binging the anime), but even so, there is something really genuine and really wholesome about their friendship. Getting to see how Nozel reacted to Fuegoleon's injury and subsequent coma and how motivated he was by his respect and admiration for him was just really compelling, and I found the scene in the elf arc in which Nozel is thinking of their rivalry and how much Fuegoleon inspires him to be really moving. Definitely a solid BROTP!

Phoenix asks making Madison Machado and Javy "Coyote" Machado chuckle, they were one of the few who knew Hayley and Jake were married. "Phoenix, this is my wife, Hayley "Mockingbird" Seresin." Jake says smugly "Hi, nice to meet you." Hayley says in her Texan accent that was thick and extends her hand for a handshake.

someone replied to my review very kindly and asked why I didn't have any fic, my ideas were awesome (hair flip) and that made me realize oh. I don't have to Just read, I can also write the stories

and the rest is history

but fostering that kind of community, just talking to people who love the things you love, is such a fun part of the fandom experience for me and so I'll always reply to comments (eventually. I'll always get there eventually.)

A plot starts to appear on the horizon.

She had memorized the part of the map of Geshon. She would let Qwakas take her to Koriann. She would participate in the transference ceremony. She would learn specifically what the customs were…and then she was find the perfect time to slip away, find a ship that would take her to Geshon, and flee. She would follow the map the [Evertree] had given her, and she would find freedom. Qwakas patted her on the shoulder. “I know…this is likely not what you want, princess,” he said softly, “but try to trust me when I tell you things are done this way for a reason. You will see. It will be good.” She fixed him with a wide, brimming smile. “Of course it will be, Qwakas. I’m sure this will be the best mikoksno adventure ever.” He immediately groaned and rubbed at his eyes as her grin grew wider. “Princess,” he chided tiredly, “...language. Please.”

Notes and thoughts on where this is going:

"Evertree" is a placeholder right now. There's a common lore that the start of their world was a giant tree that gave the space for all life on their planet to flourish, and that if you travel into the wildlands you'll actually find the trunk of the Evertree. Of course there's the usual stuff about if they're actually in a giant tree, if they're simply living on the bones, if it's still alive, if that's a crazy outdated theory, etc. Koriann is also a placeholder name for the Second Kingdom for right now.

Also.

Lyra is the only character so far that's made me conlang the phrases "piece of shit", "bag of dicks", and now "fucking".
