Recently been very obsessed with @weepinglilvessel's Rainworld Eclipse AU, so motivation struck and I drew fanart of Lunar Moon!

I FUCKING DID SOMETHING FOR ONCE LET'S GO!!!

ok so i was listening to this song like a week ago and i saw this animation clear as day in my mind and i knew i had to try and storyboard it out while i was thinking of it. i wanna do the full song at some point because it is So Very Them-coded but i do not have the time rn and will not for a while (i barely had the time to make this) so for now i just made sure i got the really complicated part out of the way. figured i'd post it because. why not lol

anyway. this is for my Darkest Desire AU story!! it's called Glitching Fates!! i am so normal about it and i have been for years now. it is. so far removed from the source material but i do not care it is very special to me :]

as a sort of summary for what's going on here, the night guard and Will used to be really good friends but they both ended up getting busy with their own lives so they couldn't interact as much, and then the whole Glitchtrap possession thing happens which reunites them but also drives a wedge between them since Will is blindly following Glitchtrap while the night guard is trying to find a way to stop Glitchtrap.

i am so not fucking normal about these characters you all have no idea. oh my god. they have permanent residence in my mind rn. i need people to ask me about them or else I Will Become Violent (/j)

#coloured doodle #digital art #crime and punishment #crime e castigo #I think Raskolnikov would look nice with a strongish nose but unfortunately I have zero practice with that because #I draw too many anime girls and don't do enough studies #I don't know if the first nose even counts as a big nose or if I'm just not used to realistic nose profiles #I think my stronger issue is actually placing the eyes relative to the nose so my profiles always look a bit weird #plus I don't do enough studies so I don't have a good mental library of what is possible realistic variation #so I don't have a good feel for how much I can change the glabela

I don't know how to draw people kissing, and I never had a teenage phase of making my favourites kiss, so I'm practicing my skills amidst artist's drought (like writer's block, but for artists) with the most 13 year old artstyle I've ever employed, and I love it so much.

This is the... third? time I've drawn a couple kissing, ever, but it looks so silly and cute. I'll be so skilled at this one day, and still look back fondly at this little mess.

I do not have interest in drawing because I find my art objectively bad and do not know what to do to improve it. It's not even the fun, calming activity that it was because I hate how little variety there is in things I draw and how nothing ever looks the way I imagine it.

Posting this on tumblr because I feel the need to say it somewhere...
