Where it Begins / Yu Jimin x Male Reader
In which, Karina goes on a blind date with Y/n—a long time friend of Giselle. Or, where Y/n and Karina bond over their shared desire for normalcy among their busy lives.
Word count: 4165
A/n: I wanted to try something… I hope you guys like it.
Yu Jimin, better known as Karina from Aespa, sat in a cozy corner of a trendy café in Gangnam, stirring her iced Americano absentmindedly. She wasn’t sure how she had let herself be roped into this situation—blind dates weren’t exactly her thing. But Giselle, her groupmate and close friend, had been persistent.
“Trust me, Jimin. He’s nice, funny, and not the type to be starstruck. He’s a normal guy with a good head on his shoulders,” Giselle had said with a grin. “You need someone who gets you, and I think he could.”
Now, as the soft murmur of café chatter surrounded her, Karina couldn’t help but feel a little nervous. Being an idol came with its own set of complications, and dating was one of the hardest. There were always eyes on her, even now when she wore a simple baseball cap and oversized hoodie, hoping to blend in.
She checked her phone again. He was supposed to be here any minute.
“Hi, Jimin?”
Karina looked up, surprised by the familiar, deep voice. She blinked, taking in the man standing in front of her. He wasn’t exactly what she had expected—but then again, she hadn’t known what to expect. He had a sharp, clean-cut look, with a slight air of confidence about him. His smile, however, was warm and genuine.
“Yes, hi! You must be Y/n?” she asked, standing up to greet him.
“Yeah, Y/n. It’s nice to finally meet you,” he said, taking a seat across from her. “Aeri told me a lot about you, but I didn’t know what to expect.”
“Same,” Karina laughed softly. “She said you were her friend from school, right?”
“Yeah, we met in one of our history classes. I work as a financial consultant now,” Y/n explained. “It’s pretty straightforward, but I like it. What about you? I mean, I know what you do, of course, but how’s life treating you?”
Karina smiled, appreciating that he wasn’t making her idol status the focus of the conversation. “It’s good. Busy, as usual. We’re preparing for a comeback soon, so things have been non-stop. But I enjoy it, you know? It’s what I’ve always wanted to do.”
“I can imagine. It must be intense. I have no idea how you handle all that pressure,” Y/n said, taking a sip of his coffee. “Do you get much time for yourself?”
“Not really,” she admitted. “But I try to make the most of the little breaks I get. I love what I do, so I can’t really complain. And besides, today’s a nice change of pace.”
“Yeah? It’s been a while since I’ve done something like this too,” Y/n admitted. “Honestly, I was kind of surprised when Aeri suggested this, but I figured, why not?”
They both laughed at how Giselle’s insistence had pushed them into this moment, and it eased the lingering awkwardness between them. As the conversation continued, Karina found herself relaxing more. Y/n had an easygoing nature, and despite his polished appearance, he wasn’t intimidating at all. He talked about his work, shared funny anecdotes from university, and even admitted to being a bit of a homebody when he wasn’t working.
Karina, in turn, talked about her passions outside of music, like how she loved writing and finding new hobbies but struggled with having enough time for them. They bonded over their shared introverted tendencies and the desire to find balance in their busy lives.
At one point, Y/n leaned back, watching her with a thoughtful expression. “You’re different from what I expected.”
Karina raised an eyebrow. “Different how?”
“I don’t know. I guess I expected you to be more… guarded? But you’re easy to talk to,” he said, a bit shyly. “It’s refreshing.”
She smiled, feeling a slight warmth spread through her at the compliment. “I guess I’m just comfortable around you. It doesn’t feel like you’re judging me.”
“I’m not. Honestly, I’m impressed. Not many people could handle what you do.”
Karina looked down at her drink, a bit flustered. “Thanks. I appreciate that.”
The conversation flowed naturally after that, and before they knew it, two hours had passed. Karina felt surprised at how comfortable she was around Y/n, and how much she was enjoying herself. The awkwardness had faded, replaced by a genuine connection.
“So,” Y/n said, glancing at his watch, “I know this was just supposed to be coffee, but would you want to grab dinner sometime? No pressure, of course.”
Karina hesitated for only a moment before nodding. “I’d like that. Let’s see how our schedules line up, but I’m interested.”
Y/n grinned, looking relieved. “Great. I’ll text Aeri and let her know the blind date didn’t completely flop.”
They both laughed, and Karina felt a strange sense of excitement. Maybe blind dates weren’t so bad after all.
As they left the café, exchanging one last smile before parting ways, Karina couldn’t help but wonder what this unexpected connection might lead to.
————————-
A few days had passed since the blind date, and Karina found herself thinking about it more than she expected. In the whirlwind of rehearsals, interviews, and photoshoots for Aespa’s upcoming comeback, her mind kept drifting back to that afternoon with Y/n. It wasn’t just the fact that the date had gone well—there was something about him that stuck with her.
Maybe it was the way he seemed completely unfazed by her fame, treating her like any other person. It felt rare, especially in a world where everyone seemed to have expectations about who she should be.
“Jimin, you’re spacing out again.” Giselle’s voice broke through her thoughts.
Karina blinked, snapping back to reality as she and her groupmates sat in their dorm’s living room. They were taking a much-needed break after a long day of practice.
“Sorry,” Karina mumbled, earning a knowing smirk from Aeri.
“You’ve been like this ever since the date,” Giselle teased. “Y/n must’ve really left an impression, huh?”
Karina rolled her eyes but couldn’t hide the small smile tugging at her lips. “He was nice. It wasn’t as awkward as I thought it would be.”
“Nice? That’s it?” Winter piped in from her spot on the couch, clearly interested in the gossip. “Come on, unnie, you can do better than that. Give us details.”
“Well, he’s a financial consultant. Smart, funny, and…” Karina paused, feeling a little shy under her members’ curious gazes. “He made me feel comfortable. I didn’t expect that.”
“You like him,” Ningning sing-songed, earning a playful glare from Karina.
“I didn’t say that,” she protested, though the warmth in her cheeks gave her away.
“It’s written all over your face, unnie,” Ningning added, giggling. “But that’s okay. It’s good to see you thinking about something other than work for once.”
Karina shook her head, trying to hide her embarrassment. “It’s just one date. I don’t know where it’s going, if anywhere.”
“You should give it a chance,” Giselle said, her tone a bit more serious now. “Y/n’s a good guy, and you deserve to have something normal. If it works out, great. If not, no big deal.”
Karina appreciated Giselle’s words, but the thought of dating still made her feel cautious. Her career was at its peak, and dating wasn’t just personal—it was public. Every move she made would be scrutinized, and the idea of dealing with the media’s obsession with her love life felt overwhelming.
But then again, Y/n didn’t seem like the type who would complicate things. He was grounded, and that was rare in her world.
“Okay, I’ll give it a shot,” Karina finally said, her voice soft but resolute. “We’ll see where it goes.”
A week later, Karina found herself waiting outside a quiet restaurant in Itaewon. Y/n had suggested a place known for its privacy, one that celebrities often frequented to avoid being spotted. He’d even joked about how he wasn’t famous, but he figured she might appreciate the discretion.
Y/n arrived right on time, flashing her that same easy smile that made her feel at ease. He was dressed casually in a dark sweater and jeans, his appearance polished but not overly so. It was the kind of look that suited him—effortless but put-together.
“Hey, hope I didn’t keep you waiting,” Y/n said as he approached.
“No, I just got here too,” Karina replied, smiling back. “This place looks nice.”
“I figured you’d appreciate somewhere quiet. You probably don’t get much peace when you go out, huh?”
Karina chuckled softly. “Not really, no. This is perfect, though.”
They were led to a private booth tucked away in the back, and Karina felt the tension ease from her shoulders as they settled in. The dim lighting and soft music created a relaxed atmosphere, making it easy to forget the pressures outside.
“So, how’s comeback prep going?” Y/n asked once they had ordered.
“Intense, but that’s normal,” Karina said with a small sigh. “There’s always pressure to outdo ourselves with every release. It’s exhausting, but I love it. I just wish there were more hours in the day.”
“I can’t even imagine. I get stressed just from balancing a couple of client meetings in a day. You’re juggling a whole career.”
“Yeah, but you deal with people’s money,” she pointed out with a grin. “That sounds stressful in its own way.”
“Fair point,” Y/n laughed. “But I’m guessing you don’t get much downtime to just… be yourself, huh?”
Karina’s expression softened at the question. “Not really. I mean, I do have my moments. The members and I are really close, so I can relax around them. But outside of that… yeah, it’s hard to switch off.”
Y/n nodded thoughtfully. “I guess it’s hard for people to see past the idol image sometimes.”
Karina glanced at him, surprised by how easily he seemed to understand. “Yeah. It’s not that I mind being an idol—it’s who I am. But sometimes I feel like people forget there’s a person behind it.”
“Well, I don’t want to sound presumptuous,” Y/n said, his tone careful, “but I don’t see you as Karina right now. Just Jimin.”
Her heart skipped a beat at his words. It wasn’t something she heard often—at least not from someone who wasn’t already in her close circle. She found herself smiling, genuinely touched.
“Thank you. That means a lot.”
They continued to talk, the conversation flowing just as easily as it had during their first meeting. Y/n shared stories about his clients and the quirks of working in finance, while Karina opened up about the more human side of being in the spotlight—how she missed simple things like going to the movies or walking around Seoul without being recognized.
The night flew by, and before they knew it, the restaurant was closing. As they stepped out into the cool evening air, Y/n walked her to her manager's car.
“So… dinner wasn’t a disaster,” he joked, rubbing the back of his neck. “I’d call that a win.”
Karina laughed, feeling lighter than she had in a long time. “I’d say so. I had a great time.”
“Same here.” Y/n hesitated for a moment before continuing, “Would it be okay if we did this again? I know your schedule’s probably crazy, but…”
“I’d like that,” Karina said, cutting him off with a smile. “We’ll figure something out.”
Y/n smiled back, relieved. “Great. I’ll let you know when I’m free, and you can do the same.”
As they said their goodbyes, Karina felt a warmth settle in her chest. It wasn’t a grand, sweeping romance—not yet, anyway. But there was something genuine about Y/n that made her want to keep exploring whatever this was.
For the first time in a long while, she felt like she could be herself, and that was worth holding on to.
Bonus chapter:
It was early afternoon, and Aespa had just wrapped up a grueling rehearsal for their upcoming music video shoot. The studio was buzzing with the usual energy: staff members adjusting lighting, choreographers reviewing the footage, and the members catching their breath on the sidelines. Karina stretched her arms above her head, feeling the slight ache in her muscles.
“Okay, let’s take a fifteen-minute break, everyone!” the choreographer called out.
Karina grabbed a towel to wipe the sweat off her forehead and slumped onto the floor next to Winter, who was scrolling through her phone.
“You’ve been glowing lately,” Winter teased, her eyes still on the screen. “It’s either that new skincare routine or that boy you went on a date with.”
Karina gave her a playful nudge. “It’s definitely the skincare.”
“Sure, sure,” Winter said with a smirk. “So, when are you seeing him again? Or are you already planning the wedding?”
Karina let out a dramatic sigh. “One date and everyone’s marrying me off.”
“Hey, I’m just asking,” Winter laughed, tossing her phone aside. “He seems like a good guy. I’m happy for you, unnie.”
Karina appreciated Winter’s sincerity, though she wasn’t quite sure how to describe what was happening with Y/n. It had only been a couple of weeks since their blind date, but they had texted regularly, and their casual dinner had felt… natural. Real. Like something outside the world of cameras and expectations. She wasn’t used to that.
“I’m seeing him later this week,” Karina admitted quietly. “But it’s nothing serious yet.”
Winter gave her a thoughtful look. “You don’t need to rush. Just see where it goes, right?”
Karina nodded, thankful for Winter’s easygoing advice. The conversation was cut short when Giselle bounded over, a mischievous glint in her eyes.
“What are we talking about? Jimin’s love life again?”
“Obviously,” Winter replied, smirking.
Giselle dropped down onto the floor beside them. “Well, I approve of Y/n. And I’m rarely wrong about people.”
Karina smiled. “I think I approve too. So far, at least.”
Later that evening, Karina sat in her dorm room, her legs tucked under her as she looked out the window at the city skyline. She was still winding down from practice, sipping on some herbal tea when her phone buzzed beside her. A message from Y/n.
Y/n: “Hey, Jimin! How was your day? Still alive after all those rehearsals?”
Karina chuckled softly and typed back.
Karina: “Barely! But yeah, we survived. How about you? Long day at work?”
Y/n: “You could say that. Had a couple of back-to-back meetings, and now I’m trying to remember what sleep feels like.”
Karina: “Sounds like you need more than a cup of coffee.”
Y/n: “What I need is another dinner with you. If you’re free this weekend?”
Karina’s heart did a little flip, the simplicity of the question making her smile. She typed back without overthinking it.
Karina: “I think I can make that happen :)”
There was a pause before Y/n responded.
Y/n: “Perfect. I’ll find somewhere quiet again. I’m not trying to end up on the front page of Dispatch.”
Karina laughed, appreciating his understanding of her situation. It was refreshing that he took her lifestyle in stride without making it awkward.
Karina: “Yeah, let’s avoid that for as long as possible.”
Y/n: “Deal. Looking forward to it, Jimin.”
———————-
The weekend came quickly, and Karina found herself back in the familiar rhythm of preparing for a date. She kept it simple—minimal makeup, a casual but chic outfit that could go unnoticed. For once, she felt a bit of excitement bubbling in her stomach that wasn’t tied to performing or being in the public eye. It was personal, and that felt nice.
They met at a small, tucked-away restaurant in Seongsu-dong that Y/n had picked out, a quiet place with an intimate atmosphere. As soon as Karina walked in, Y/n stood up to greet her with a warm smile.
“Hey, you look great,” Y/n said, his voice kind.
“Thanks. You too,” Karina replied, smiling as she took a seat.
Once again, the conversation flowed effortlessly. They talked about their week, shared stories about their families, and even laughed over the little annoyances of their respective jobs. Y/n had a way of making her laugh that felt unforced, natural. Karina could feel herself lowering her guard, bit by bit.
Throughout the evening, they fell into a comfortable rhythm, enjoying each other’s company in a way that didn’t feel rushed or forced. It was easy, and Karina realized how much she appreciated that—how much she needed it.
After they finished dinner, they stepped outside into the cool autumn air. The streets were quieter now, a soft breeze rustling through the trees. Karina wrapped her coat a little tighter around her, and Y/n glanced at her.
“Want to walk for a bit?” he asked. “I know a nice spot by the river not too far from here.”
Karina hesitated for only a second before nodding. “Sure, I’d like that.”
They walked side by side, the gentle sound of their footsteps mixing with the occasional distant hum of traffic. The Han River stretched out beside them, shimmering under the city lights.
“Do you ever get tired of it?” Y/n asked suddenly, breaking the silence.
Karina looked over at him, curious. “Of what?”
“Being Karina. The public persona. The constant pressure.”
She thought about it for a moment, the weight of the question settling over her. “Sometimes,” she admitted softly. “It’s not that I don’t love what I do—I do. But there are moments when it’s hard. When I just want to disappear for a while and be Jimin. No expectations. No spotlight.”
Y/n nodded, understanding flickering in his eyes. “I get that. It must be hard to find that balance.”
“It is,” Karina said, her voice quieter now. “But tonight, I feel more like Jimin than Karina.”
Y/n smiled at that, his gaze warm as he looked at her. “I’m glad.”
They continued walking in silence for a while, the comfortable kind that didn’t need to be filled with words. As they reached a small bench overlooking the river, Y/n stopped and turned to her.
“You know, I wasn’t sure what to expect when Aeri set this up,” he admitted with a sheepish grin. “But I’m really glad we did this.”
Karina felt the same warmth from before, that quiet sense of something real blossoming between them. “Me too.”
As they stood there, looking out over the peaceful river, Karina realized that, for the first time in a long while, she wasn’t thinking about work, schedules, or the next big event. She was just Jimin, standing beside someone who saw her for who she was—and that felt like something worth holding on to.
As Karina and Y/n sat on the bench, watching the river’s gentle current, the silence between them felt more like an unspoken understanding. She rarely had moments like these—where the world slowed down, and she wasn’t the idol, the performer, or the public figure. She was just herself, and Y/n had a way of reminding her that being Jimin was enough.
“Tell me something you missed from before you became… well, you,” Y/n asked suddenly, breaking the comfortable quiet.
Karina thought about it for a moment, her mind drifting back to memories of simpler times. “I think it’s the small things,” she said softly. “Like going to the grocery store without feeling watched. Or taking the subway and people not recognizing me. I used to love just walking through the streets and feeling invisible, blending into the crowd. I miss that.”
Y/n nodded, his expression thoughtful. “That must be hard—to give up those everyday moments. People probably think being famous is all glamour, but they don’t see what you lose.”
“It’s a trade-off,” Karina said, shrugging lightly. “I wouldn’t change my life for anything, but yeah, there are moments where I just want to be… ordinary again. But enough about me. What about you? What do you miss from when life was simpler?”
Y/n chuckled. “You’re assuming my life’s complicated now.”
“Well, it can’t be all easy, right? Financial consultant—sounds intense.”
Y/n grinned. “I guess so. I think I miss having time for hobbies. Back in university, I used to play the guitar. Not anything fancy, just for fun. But now, between work and adulting, I barely have time to pick it up. Sometimes I feel like life’s become all about work and not enough about living.”
“Sounds familiar,” Karina replied, a soft laugh escaping her. “Maybe we need to find more time to live.”
Y/n looked at her, his smile fading slightly as his expression turned more serious. “Maybe we do.”
They shared a lingering look, the air between them charged with something unsaid but palpable. It wasn’t an overwhelming intensity, but more of a quiet, growing connection. Something steady and real, like the slow build of a song that hasn’t reached its crescendo yet.
“Are you ever afraid of people finding out?” Y/n asked after a while, his tone gentle.
Karina knew what he meant. The thought of the media discovering this budding relationship was always in the back of her mind, a constant pressure she couldn’t escape. “I am,” she admitted. “It’s complicated. If people find out, it could affect both of us—my career, and your privacy. It’s not just about us, you know?”
Y/n nodded, understanding flickering in his eyes. “Yeah, I get that. But for what it’s worth, I’m willing to take things as they come. I’m not going to run away because it might get messy.”
Karina felt her chest tighten at his words. It was rare to find someone willing to navigate the chaos of her life without hesitating, without being scared off by the potential consequences. She appreciated that more than she could say.
“Thank you,” she said, her voice quiet but sincere. “I needed to hear that.”
Y/n smiled, and the weight of the conversation seemed to lift slightly as they stood from the bench and began walking back toward the main street. The cool breeze brushed past them, carrying with it the scent of autumn, crisp and fresh. Karina could feel the energy of the city, the hum of life continuing around them, but in this little moment, it felt like they had carved out a space just for themselves.
As they reached the point where they would part ways, Y/n paused, turning to face her. His expression was soft, thoughtful, as if he was weighing his next words carefully.
“Can I be honest with you for a second?”
Karina raised an eyebrow, intrigued. “Of course.”
“I didn’t know what to expect when we first met. Aeri had always talked about you like you were this larger-than-life person, this untouchable figure. And I was nervous—thinking about how different our worlds are. But now…” He paused, running a hand through his hair before meeting her gaze again. “Now, I just see you as Jimin. And I like that. I like you.”
His confession hung in the air between them, and Karina felt her heart skip a beat. It wasn’t that she hadn’t heard people express interest in her before—she was used to the admiration that came with being an idol. But Y/n wasn’t talking about Karina, the persona. He was talking about the person behind it, and that meant more than he could know.
She didn’t trust herself to speak for a moment, unsure of how to respond to such an honest, vulnerable admission. But eventually, she smiled, the warmth of his words settling in her chest.
“I like you too,” she said softly, feeling the truth of it as she spoke.
Y/n’s grin returned, soft but genuine. “That’s good to know.”
They stood there for a moment longer, neither of them in a rush to leave. The world felt suspended in time, the busy city around them fading into the background.
“I should get going,” Y/n said finally, though there was a hint of reluctance in his voice.
“Yeah, me too,” Karina agreed, though she felt the same.
As Y/n took a step back, he gave her one last look, his smile still lingering. “I’ll text you.”
“I’ll be waiting,” she replied, her own smile growing as she watched him walk away.
Once he disappeared into the night, Karina let out a small breath, feeling a mixture of excitement and uncertainty. This was new territory—uncharted, and in many ways, risky. But for the first time in a long time, she felt something genuine, something real, and she wasn’t sure she was ready to let it go.
———————
As she turned to head back to her dorm, Karina’s phone buzzed in her pocket. She pulled it out, expecting a message from one of her members or her manager, but instead saw Y/n’s name lighting up her screen.
Y/n: “By the way, what’s your favorite song right now?”
Karina chuckled and typed back quickly.
Karina: “That’s a hard one. Why?”
Y/n: “I’m thinking of picking up my guitar again. Maybe I can learn it for you.”
Her heart fluttered at the thought, and for the first time in a while, Karina let herself feel hopeful.

You can try writhing this in fanfic if you can, Requesting S/o rarely laugh at Cyno's joke, she reacts just like other, but doesn't mean s/o doesn't like it, just doesn't find it funny enough. Cyno suddenly got an idea loophole on how to make them laugh, he would tell them more of his jokes while his hand would subtly poke/touch them, make them flinch before turning it into a full blown tickling, making them Laugh at his jokes, and continue telling his jokes and acted like he did nothing and says "Your laughing so hard, that means my jokes has improved hmn?" Something like that. A light hearted interaction<3
Tickle Tactics
A/N: Hope you like it 🩷
Cyno was never one to shy away from sharing his infamous jokes, especially when it came to you. You, unlike most others, tolerated his puns without much of a reaction—at least on the surface. While everyone else would groan or look away, you simply smiled politely, nodding at his clever wordplay, but rarely did you laugh.
He’d never let it show, but Cyno had been scheming. Not because he needed validation, but because he wanted to hear you laugh—genuinely, not just out of politeness. And today, he had just the idea.
You were sitting comfortably in the living area of your shared space, reading through a book while Cyno casually lingered nearby. He approached with his usual calm demeanor, his eyes glinting with a hint of mischief.
“Hey,” he started, his voice light. “Why don’t skeletons fight each other?”
You glanced up from your book, sensing another one of his jokes incoming. “I don’t know, why?”
“Because they don’t have the guts.”
You smiled, as you always did. “That’s a good one,” you said, though your tone lacked the hearty laughter most people gave when they found something funny.
Cyno hummed in mock thought, moving a bit closer to you. “I see. That one’s still not quite there.” His hand, as casual as ever, found its way to your side, gently brushing against you.
You flinched, slightly surprised by the touch, but assumed it was accidental. Cyno noticed your small reaction but didn’t let on that he had anything planned. “Let me try another.”
You looked at him, curious about his next attempt. “Sure.”
“What do you call a fake noodle?”
You tilted your head, genuinely not knowing this one. “What?”
“An impasta,” he said, punctuating the punchline with another subtle poke to your side, this time lingering just a bit longer.
You flinched again, a giggle accidentally escaping your lips as you squirmed from the unexpected poke. Cyno raised an eyebrow, still acting casual.
“Oh? Was that a laugh?” he asked, pretending to be surprised.
“N-No, you poked me—” you started to say, but Cyno didn’t give you a chance to finish. His hands suddenly shot out, finding all the ticklish spots he had long since memorized. He moved swiftly, fingers dancing along your sides, causing you to break out into uncontrollable laughter.
“Cyno—! Hey, stop!” you squealed between giggles, trying to wriggle away, but he was relentless.
“All this laughing, it must mean my jokes have improved,” he mused, his tone completely deadpan, as though he hadn’t just turned your quiet afternoon into a tickle ambush. “I should tell you another one while I have your attention.”
“Cyno! No!” you protested through your laughter, but it was useless.
“What do you call cheese that isn’t yours?” he asked, barely pausing to give you a moment of reprieve.
You could barely breathe through the laughter, tears springing to your eyes as you desperately tried to escape his tickling grip. “I— I don’t know!”
“Nacho cheese,” he said, fingers still working their way across your sides, making sure you couldn’t escape the full brunt of the tickle attack.
You dissolved into more laughter, fully aware now that he was deliberately tormenting you for your usual lack of response to his jokes. “C-Cyno! You’re cheating!”
“Cheating?” he asked, feigning innocence. “I think I’ve just finally figured out how to deliver my punchlines in a way that resonates with you.”
Another poke, this time to your ribs, and you were a mess of laughter again, unable to stop yourself from wriggling and squirming under his touch. Cyno grinned, clearly enjoying himself.
Eventually, he slowed his tickling assault, giving you time to catch your breath. “I must admit,” he said, his voice smooth and calm as if nothing had happened, “you’re laughing more than I expected. Perhaps I’ve underestimated the power of physical comedy.”
You glared at him playfully, still panting from the tickle ambush. “That wasn’t fair,” you said between breaths. “You can’t just tickle me into laughing at your jokes.”
Cyno shrugged, his smirk widening. “I didn’t tickle you into laughing at my jokes. You’re laughing because you enjoy them.”
You shot him a look, raising an eyebrow. “Oh, really?”
“Absolutely,” he replied, his tone uncharacteristically playful. “I’ve finally cracked the code.”
You couldn’t help but chuckle again, shaking your head. Cyno leaned back, satisfied with his victory. He may have had to resort to underhanded tactics, but he’d gotten what he wanted: your laughter, pure and genuine.
And maybe, just maybe, you’d start appreciating his jokes a little more from now on—without the added tickling.

Why did you let him do that? Your head was reeling and you felt sick to your stomach for the next few days. It’s not like you didn’t want him to do that.. no. It wasn’t like that at all. But you let him manipulate you into eating all because he touched you? God how pathetic. You were mentally beating yourself up for being so stupid. You didn’t want to eat but if you stop, who knows what Oliver will do next.
You’re lying in your bed, curled into a ball, knees pulled up to your chest. You have this blank expression painted on your face, as if you’re unable to comprehend a single thing in your life. You hear a soft yet firm knock at the door. “Who is it?” You say dryly. “Farleigh.” You hum quietly and he comes in, a concerned expression painted on his face. “What’s up with you? You’ve been acting weird for the past two days.” You bite your lip as you sit up, your hair a mess yet still framing your face perfectly.
“Shut the door..” You whisper and Farleigh obeys. He walks over to your bed and sits down. “It’s about Oliver.” You whisper making sure no one in the hallways can hear. “The other night we..” You trail off and Farleigh immediately understands. “Oh.” He stifles a laugh but you glare at him and he immediately stops. “Right. Not funny, sorry. What exactly happened?”
“Well.. he like..” You shrug and look away. “I don’t know. He was all like ‘Oh, you’re gonna start eating from now on’ blah blah blah, ‘you’re just like Venetia, you’re so beautiful.’” You inhale deeply as you recall the memory. Farleigh looks at you in shock. “Well..” He exhales and looks at a wall in your room. “He didn’t like.. force you, right?” You shake your head. “I wanted to. God! He’s such a weirdo but i can’t stop myself from thinking about him..” You sigh and Farleigh raises an eyebrow. “So you like him?” He chuckles.
“No.. yes? I don’t know!” You sigh dramatically as you lay back down. “Maybe i should talk to him about it..” You whisper as you bring your thumb to your lips and bite at the skin around your nail bed. “Right.. well! I’ll leave you to it.” He says softly as he pats your shoulder once more before heading out the room. You huff as you hear the door close. You really need to talk to Oliver.
You find your way to Oliver room, walking through Felix’s empty room and shutting the door. Oliver is sitting on the bed and he perks up. “Ollie..” You whisper, staying alert of anyone near the room. “What the fuck.” You whisper yell as you stay against the door, your hands behind your back as he feel the wood door. “Nice of you to see me..” He says softly as gets off his bed, walking towards you. “I enjoyed the other night..”
His voice.. there was something he was hiding behind his seductive tone. Was he lying or being genuine? You couldn’t tell. “Shut up.” You practically barked as he got closer, inches away from your face. “Why would I?” He smirks slightly as he places his hands on your waist. “Look at you..” He says softly as he looks you up and down, tutting to himself. “Perfect even after you eat.” He snarks and your face twists into a frown. “Get off me.” You don’t attempt to push him off though.. you let his fingers dance on your curves as he looks at your body. “Do you really want me to, love?” He sarcastically frowns as you avert your gaze from his. “God I hate you,.”
“You really fucking love me.” He whispers as he moves his head in front of yours so you’re looking at him again. “I know you do.” You lock eyes with him, your bottom lip quivering. He knew he was right. Well, partially. Love was too strong of a word.. you liked him, most definitely. “Gods sake..” You mumble as you gently push him off you and open the door to leave his room.
Everything that went down was too much. You liked Oliver and he fucking knew. That’s not a good thing.. at all. Just the thought of him made your clit throb.. the sight of him. Every time you laid in the field, body completely exposed to him, you enjoyed the attention he was giving to you. At first you didn’t, but now you did. Him observing your smooth legs and looking at your exposed chest did something to you and you didn't know why. This isn't good.
"Wait Ollie-" You moan out as he kisses your thighs, slowly getting under your covers as his hands trail up underneath your white shirt. You don't know what's happening. You woke up with Oliver kissing your neck. Everything was a bit fuzzy but fuck.. it felt so good. Your hands fly to the top of his head and your back arches up slightly as he kisses your clothed clit. "Ollie wha-" You grunt softly as you look down at him between your legs, hands resting on the sides of your ass. "You have such a big mouth.." He whispers as he tuts. "You should learn to be quiet and not gossip so much like your aunt." He trails his way back up to your face and you look into his eyes nervously. "You want my cock?" You can feel his breath on your lips and your mouth opens as your about to answer but he quickly covers your mouth. "Nod." You nod eagerly and he groans as he flips you on top of him.
You lean against the backboard of your dresser and you place your lips on his, allowing yourself to taste him. He quickly rips himself off you and shakes his head. "That's not the way to keep you quiet.." He scoffs as he lifts you up slightly, pulling down his pajama shorts, revealing his plaid boxer briefs. You want to moan at the sight of his hard cock yet you don't. You have to be quiet.
Oliver nods as you look down at it, hopping off his lap and eagerly bending over the side of him to slide down his boxers. You bite your lip as his cock springs out. You look at him and he leans his head back, his eyes locked on your pretty and plump lips. "Go ahead." He ushers and you slowly wrap your lips around the head of his cock. He shivers in excitement as your warm mouth swallows him whole. "Fuck darling.." He huffs out as you bob your head up and down his throbbing hard on, collecting every drop of pre-cum.
"You're so good for me.." He grunts out as he places his hand on the back of your head. "Good.. good.." Oliver whispers to himself as he controls your head. He pushes your head down, causing you to choke and sputter around the base of his shaft. He moves your head up and you pant, your spit falling down your lips. He laughs dryly as he looks at you. "You're better when your quiet you know.." You smile as you go back to sucking his cock, feeling him throb inside your mouth was something else. You could feel yourself growing wetter and wetter by the second. You tease him, your tongue trailing from his base to his sensitive tip. He grunts and his grip on your hair tightens. You swirl your tongue around him and without giving him a break, you quickly shove him down your throat again, softly moaning at his taste.
You could feel him becoming more frantic, his breathing getting heavier and his hips bucking up into your mouth faster than before. He was so close and you wanted him.. "Darling..." he whines out as he gasps softly, his cum shooting in your mouth and you push your head down so you can swallow it all, making sure not to miss a drop. He gasps as you pull yourself from his cock with a pop. You look at him and he eagerly places his hands on the sides of your face, wanting to taste himself on your lips. Seeing him so desperate was disgusting in a way yet you liked it. He pulled away and gently wiped your mouth. He pulled your head closer, fingers tangled in your hair and you groan softly.
"We need to be careful yeah? You don't want anyone else knowing what happened between us, right?" You nod and bite your lip. "Good.." He sighs as he gets up from your bed and pulls up his pants. "Farleigh is going to tell Felix but don't worry about it. I'll handle it tomorrow." He says and you look at him. "Wait you were eavesdropping on me and Farleigh?" He turns his head over his shoulder. "I told you to be quiet." He says smugly as he walks out your room, quietly shutting the door.
What the fuck.

cannot stop thinking about how whumpy it must’ve been when i was given the anesthesia and passed out earlier. like even before the laughing gas i was SHAKING and TREMBLING in fear i fucking HATE needles. but i was also smiling the whole time because my fear response isn’t fight flight fawn or freeze it’s just. to laugh. for some reason. anyway after i got the laughing gas i was smiling and giggling even more and also shaking a lot more in both fear of what was gonna happen and also probably the laughing gas. they told me to take deep breaths which i did, still freaking out though. i started panicking even more when they put the IV in my arm, like wow that was horrifying i must’ve looked sooooo scared wooow.. so much fear.. (whumpers you know where to find me). anyway i eventually followed their advice and took deep breaths, knowing that it would make the laughing gas effect me quicker, but i did it anyway because its all i could do.
(more under the cut because i couldn’t shut up and this got long)
and guys. guys. THEN. then i started thinking about Anton and imagining i was his test subject and he was just doing an experiment on me and let me tell you. the way pure CALMNESS just WASHED over my entire body. like before i walked into the room i was like “anton save mee save me anton haha lol”. and then anton DID save me. in a way. but yeah i mean i KNEW that would happen because thinking about anton literally always calms me down anyway but i just thought that was funny lmao. woow
okay so then they injected me with the anesthesia. i don’t think i really felt it. then they put a rubber thing in my mouth to keep it wide open, and i was just thinking “haha wow they gagged me that’s gotta be one of my favorite whump tropes.” i just stared straight ahead (i couldn’t really turn my head anyway with the way the chair was set up), struggling hard to keep my eyes open, breathing really deeply, barely able to form a coherent thought.
i do NOT remember falling asleep. like one moment i was sitting there eyes wide and breathing heavily, staring at the doctors on either side of me, and the next i was like all woozy flopping around in the chair, head lolling to the side as the doctors were telling me to wake up. it was sort of a blur, i had NO idea what was going on at ALL. i remember slurring as i talked, telling the doctors i wanted to keep my wisdom teeth. they laughed and asked why and i just kept repeating that i wanted them to let me keep them (they did let me keep them! i’m gonna put them in a little jar like a mad scientist). then i kept asking for my phone and they gave it to me. they put me in a wheelchair to take me to the car because i could NOT walk, i was stumbling around, completely unable to stand or sit up straight, and when we got to the car i just flopped into the passenger seat like i was DIZZY. and i was also a bit nauseous. blood in my mouth and all that. oh i also had gauze in my mouth which definitely made talking a lot more difficult
so i really barely talked, i don’t think i said much else which i’m kinda happy for because i was high as FUCK and did not wanna ramble about a bunch of weird oc lore to my mom. i KNOW i would’ve talked about anton and/or silas nonstop. but i just went on my phone instead which is when i made all those posts from earlier LOL. those typos were genuinely not on purpose at all. i could not type. i’m being fully serious.
here’s a screenshot from my discord server of me attempting to type “holy shit i can’t type.” and as you can see, it was, well, TRUE
anyway yeah i just curled up in my seat on the car ride home, i wasn’t on my phone much because i was still really tired and it was hard to keep my eyes open and stay awake. the car seat was leaned back really far so i was laying down and could not see out of the car windows (but my eyes were closed so it didn’t really matter). but i just remember feeling every turn of the car and trying to guess where we were driving as if i was a whumpee who’d just been kidnapped and was trying to memorize the directions. as you can tell i knew this situation would be whumpy as fuck and didn’t hesitate to make a bunch of silly connections.
so then we got home and there’s not much else that happened. i just took a lot of pills and washed out my mouth and put more gauze in and then went to sleep. it didn’t hurt that much at all because of. the drugs and stuff. i slept for a long time and woke up feeling back to normal, in the way i wasn’t high af anymore. yeah so now my mouth kinda hurts but i have painkillers so it’s fine. i ate lasagna like 20 minutes ago. i’m probably not supposed to eat lasagna. i did it anyway (i took very very teeny tiny nibbles it was very basil core).
anyway that’s it i think! dunno why i wanted to share this whole experience but i thought it was kinda funny the way i kept finding whump in everything hahaha (like i said, my actual fear response is literally to LAUGH and GIGGLE at everything in fear. this needs to be used more in this community imo. and i think… i have a new oc for that actually…. teehee….. ominous.. very ominous dot dot dots…..)
but really this isn’t as bad as i thought it’d be. it’s gonna suck to eat a bunch of soft food and stuff but overall it’s not bad. at least for me. obviously this was only my experience and everyone’s will be different. i do kinda see the humor in everything whenever i’m in a bad or painful situation so that might also be why this is easier for me, idk! hope u all found this at least a little entertaining because i know i did haha

Something cute happened during jazz AGAIN!!! 🤭❤️
We were cleaning up the regular concert band setup as we usually did before our class started. While U usually stays in his office to doom-scroll on his phone or get some extra work done, this time he decided to sit outside as we cleaned up, in a cushioned, wheeled office chair. One knee propped over the opposing leg’s thigh, he sat there… still doom-scrolling on his phone, but hey, he was out there, right?
Anyway, I was racking up the extra chairs on my own while some others were either languidly racking up extra music stands, putting together our jazz setup, or chatting amongst themselves. To my surprise, we got done fairly quickly (likely because U was out there and could yell at us to hurry up if we were being too slow… which he’s done before) so I didn’t have any more chairs to rack up.
While some finished out the arrangement of our setup and others took this as a sign to go to their lockers and start setting up their instruments, I sought to do the same as the latter. I just needed to roll this chair rack back against its designated space, then I would be on my way. However… if I wanted to get this done quickly, I had to roll it the quickest way—right in front of U.
Being a calculated person, I thought of how to maneuver the rack so I wouldn’t hit him, then I started to move. HOWEVER… I saw something moving back in my right peripheral vision, and when I leaned over to see what was up… I saw U, wide-eyed, terrified, and staring at the stack of chairs like I was about to kill him with it.
Right when I saw him, he looked so SCARED. It was so funny—he was usually all serious. So I stopped moving the rack, gauged its distance from U, and began to giggle at how dramatic he was being. Waving a dismissive palm in front of me to rationalize things with him, I exclaimed, “Hey! Don’t worry!! I’m not going to hit you… see?” And I peeked over at the rack again to confirm I had rolled it a good distance from him. “I know how to steer this thing… I wasn’t going to hit you. I wouldn’t do that.”
I made it a point to look at the right side of the stack now, in front of where he sat, while I continued to move it, emphasizing the change so that he knew I was making sure the path was clear in front of me and him. But I just couldn’t stay serious like that when his wide eyes and slightly trembling lips (I HATE YOU, MR. U WHY ARE YOU SO DRAMATIC AND FUNNY) followed the stack of chairs as it moved, the rest of his body paralyzed in… “fear”.
“STOP!!! Don’t look at me like that!!! I didn’t hit you!” I slowed my movements and laughed nervously while he continued, staring at him with a huge smile, then ripping my head away as I fought my own laughter. “God!!” I exclaimed, “You’re scaring me!”
And I smiled feverishly to myself at the whole interaction at this point, looking away from him as I finally parked the rack of chairs where it needed to be. However, U must have seen how much I was smiling, or maybe heard my giggles afterwards, OR just couldn’t help but find the interaction funny, because when I looked back at him once it was all said and done . . .
. . . he was smiling down at his phone.
His smile was so genuine and endearing, it tugged at my heartstrings. He was typing slowly on his phone, and GAHHHH UGH MY HEART!!!!! I MADE HIM SMILE LIKE THAT!!!!! Oh my gosh, what a blessing. Such a fruitful moment. ❤️

I’ve written a few obituary posts already and I know I don’t have to I just feel very strongly that I have to express these things? I’m copypasting a longer post I wrote on fb for under the cut but my grandmother died this past Monday and its something I knew was on the horizon but I couldn’t have ever imagined how devastating and like. earthshattering it feels. My grandma was like a second mom to me, I spent so many summers at her house in PR, we spent years after that living at my moms house. She was a constant? And it’s funny to think like. a woman who was born to a rural, coffee picking family in PR, who almost died as a toddler because the ship that took her to NYC was being followed by u-boats, would take me to the beach and listen to me ramble abt shit she did not have any concept of and buy me bootleg Sailor Moon figurines in San Juan because I said I liked that show. Like our dedication to trying to know each other is something I’m going to miss the most.
I think for people who haven't had a close relationship with a grandparent before it's very hard to explain just how beautiful and alien it is? To be an 00's kid from the suburbs and hold a conversation with someone who's life and experiences were so much different than your own and to still find ways to relate to each other. To joke around with each other. To spend an afternoon together line-drying clothes in her backyard and an evening quipping about novelas over dinner. To sit on the beach and talk about people I'd never meet, about a Bronx, New York and Puerto Rico that were already decades out of reach. I can't stop thinking about our wacky misadventures, all the hurricanes we waited out together, how funny it was to try to convey whatever extremely niche tween/teen hyperfixation I was having at the moment only for her to give the most barely related, completely out of context reply possible because of course she had no idea what I was talking about but she did want to have a conversation with me. I feel like anyone who is a child of immigrants knows what it's like to lose a family member and feel like you've lost a tether to your heritage. One of the bodies that made my body, that carried resilience and wisdom into my mother and into me, is not with us anymore. And that hurts me so deeply. I genuinely can't imagine who I'd be without my grandma; as I write this I can hear the windchimes on my balcony and see about a dozen different PRican souvenir trinkets scattered around my living room. I know that she's the reason I love to tell funny stories, that I tap on jar lids with the back of a knife to get them loose, that I stay mad as hell. It's wild that someone can be a fully complex and nuanced human person and also be your mom's mom. I feel like I've lost my second mother. I'm so grateful I got to see you last month, I want nothing more than to sit with you again and bitch about the same old novelas they still put on tv. I want nothing more than to sit in the carport of the house in PR with you and watch the rain. I don't know how to end this so here are some fun facts about my grandma: - She used to wear perfume to bed sometimes and when I asked her why she was like "I don't wanna waste them" - The ship that brought her to NYC in the 40s got torpedoed later that year by a german U-boat - One time we went to an outdoor movie thing and they were showing the Good Dinosaur and right after the scene where the dinosaur's dad tragically dies and it's like pitch black and silent for a second she started laughing so hard for some reason and at the time I was confused but honestly that was so fucking funny of her and I think about it all the time
#la isla#jas.txt#the pic on the left is my fav pic of us together and the one on the right is the altar I made for her#family death /#death /

this excerpt is AMAZING!!!
it’s been a phat minute since i’ve done a live reaction and i miss it so let’s get into it
ok first of all… in the last chapter it didn’t even occur to me that the gang was gonna head to wakanda until i read other people’s live reactions😳
but here we are now!!!!
ooo bucky pov!
oh no wait… bucky nightmare D:
(F/N) tore her eyes away from him, reaching for the hand as it helped her return to her feet.
Wraith stepped from the shadows, tucking her protectively against him as he handed her another pistol.
BUCKY NOOOO ITS NOT REAL PLEASW
sam nooo not you too
sam remember how you trusted nat and she was wrong??? this is EXACTLY like that
i realllly don’t wanna see bucky fall off the believe (f/n) is still good train :(
“Why do my World War Two veterans constantly look like shit?”
it’s the way i busted out laughing at this
i can picture tony’s face while he’s saying this
damn there’s no way tony is gonna snitch on peter to aunt may 😭😭😭
Jump.
We’re not jumping out over the Atlantic.
Lame. You’ve done it before.
That was over the Pacific.
Same difference.
this was also hilarious
it’s the way i also be talking back to the voices in my head like this 😭
i need this unhinged ghost to stop being so damn funny cause we can not be bringing in jack into this mess
respectfully (f/n) what in fucks name are you gonna do when you jump into the middle of the ocean WITH NOWHERE TO GO BECAUSE EVERYRHINF IS MILES AWAY
i’m not saying she couldn’t do it… all i’m saying is that she’d be stupid to try and do it herself
i’m so excited for this wakanda chapter
boone i love your optimism babes but i don’t think squatters rights are a thing in wakanda
especially when these guys can kick your ass off the continent
boone babes i hate to say it but… i think their sunsets might be just a little bit better 😬
oh shit i had no idea we were going in straight AFTER killmonger that changes things i think
cause it’s like… i think t’challa is down to help them out but no way the elders, the queen, or the dora milaje think it’s a good idea to invite the actual DEFINITION of chaos and destruction onto their doorstep
ross and boone has GOT to be my top unexpected besties
boone actually has no chill whatsoever 😭why would he wanna play FRISBEE
“We are on plane full of super soldiers.” The Russian shrugged again, “I’m sure someone can carry him.”
belov please never stop being the hilarious son of bitch that you are
“Tell me someone else is seeing this,” you whispered, watching as the mirage began to fade.
“Oh, I see it,” Boone hummed, nudging you gently, “And I’m really glad you can see it too. I cannot be trippin’ balls right now.”
there’s some very sad implications here but i really don’t wanna think about it because i don’t wanna get more sad
you see even if there was a chance ollie was the one that attacked wakanda there’s NO WAY he would’ve been able to step foot there like GENUINELY
boone and shuri as lab partners would be crazy
omg wait—
WERE ADDING TCHALLA TO THE LIST OF PEOPLE WHO NOW KNOW GHOSTS IDENTITY?!!
gotta say i wasn’t expecting it to be him
“Ghost is a woman?” a familiar voice shouted from behind the Dora Milaje. You winced back, cocking your head to the side before a smile spread across your face and Princess Shuri appeared beside her brother. She looked you over excitedly, “I do not believe in the gods but...Praise be to Bast! Brother—”
shuri is so real for this reaction😭😭😭
i wonder what the dora milaje think of ghost 👀
i honestly did not think novak would be in contact again with ollie
uh oh… they’re talking about jack
it’s the way my anxiety is SPIKING RN
leave him out of this please 😭😭
tchalla calling ghost out is unexpectedly the funniest thing in the world to me
i’m actually so glad that clint is in on ghosts shenanigans
because like wanda is still relatively new to all of this so she’s struggling and steve is a soldier not a spy (see what i did there?!) so they were both STRUGGLING to stay afloat… but CLINT?! homeboy knows what he’s doing i trust him
if he can keep nat from tipping by association i think nat will keep tony from fully tipping
oh god all of this is stressing me OUT
i really like this idea of tchalla and shuri respecting n’jadaka’s name. like yea he was an extremist when it came to his ideals but like he wanted to do good and by using his wakandan name it feels warmer. like he’s not the killer that killmonger was to many
Dark tattoos trailed up his left arm, leading under his shirt before reappearing at the back of his neck.
ok but pause…
JACK HAS TATTOOS??
THIS IS NEWS TO ME
i really need to read thoroughly 😭
i LOVED reading shuri’s thoughts on everyone
Killmonger was just like them after all.
He was trained to destabilize governments, taught to kill without remorse.
They were just like him.
wooooah
cause it’s the way i didn’t even think of this
this is so dope like actually
shuri deducing ollie is wraith and then putting the puzzle pieces in together is *chefs kiss*
bucky needs to meet shuri like asap because his head is full of rocks and i have been saying that since the beginning
ollie being able to walk freely around the tower with mostly everyone not giving a shit is actually terrifying
no wait…
please no…
LEAVE PETER OUT OF THIS PLEASE
omfg no HES JUST A KID
Perhaps… Lagos 2.0. That would get her out of the way, at least, for a while.
there’s actually… no fucking way
this is horrifying
ollie being able to jump from being a psychotic piece of shit to a sympathetic person is sickening
like it’s scary how quickly he was able to play with nats emotions and manipulate her like THAT FAST
Prove what you can do. Show Stark you can handle yourself,” Oliver said, raising his fists in front of him, “Show me what you can do, and I’ll teach you everything she doesn’t know.”
I AM GOING TO THROW UP
it’s so wild to me how ghost can just TURN OFF her pain…
her arguments with herself have me cackling asf
WOAH OK SHES TELLING TCHALLA EVERYTHING
ok but it’s the way this makes perfect sense tho👀
because ok think about it: like yes it’s sad and kinda funny and ironic that she still hasn’t told bucky the truth even tho he knows her better than anyone but i think because of there history… it makes telling him that much more painful. because like it or not he was there during her most painful moments and he was the one taking her to the darkest part of her life. but he was also there as a support, while she was literally being tortured they formed this bond and understanding with one another. so the history of the en ay to loaded and painful for her to tell him everything. but telling tchalla?? practically a stranger???? it’s easier because he’s not coming from a place of chaos and harm, he has made peace with vengeance and with this peace ghost can tell so it makes opening up to him a lot easier than it would be to bucky
Danny laughed again, his breath whispering across your neck as he buried his face there, “I'm not afraid to throw your pretty ass out in the snow.” —
— “You think I'm pretty?” —
— “I think you're beautiful.” —
WOAH DANNY FLASHBACK WOAH
this feels like when movies are like “here’s a never before scene exclusive for our newest project!!” it’s the way the got so excited
i know we’ve read it but reading ghost just summarize her trauma is… so fucking sad
“I love your crazy ass. You can do this. We can do this together. I love you, mi amor.”
brb sobbing—
“I said, I don’t wanna talk, Steve,” he snapped, glaring up at the man before he paused.
“Good thing I’m not Rogers,” Walsh said, standing at the edge of the room with a frown.
OH NO—
I DONT KNOW WHO I EXPECTED BUT IT DEFINITELY WASNT HIM
Out of all of them, he was going to be the one to find her. And, if he was, Bucky wanted to be there too.
“I call the shots,” he said slowly.
Walsh nodded, rising from his chair with a smile, “And I find her.”
Bucky rocked to his feet too, closing the distance between them with a snarl as he grabbed onto Walsh’s collar, “If you hurt her again, I will not hesitate to snap your goddamn neck.”
“Understood.”
OMG NO WAIT—
THIS IS SCARY AS FUCK
omg no that’s the end
god PLZ—
omg this is so long i am so sorry but this chapter was so so good and it’s the way i had literally no clue that they were headed to wakanda until i read other people’s live reactions 😭
anyways i love it when you break my heart darke i hope you keep doing it 🫶🏼

To all my live reactors,
Please, please, please, hide your reactions under a Read More cut. I don’t want any spoilers floating around.

And, for a moment, a weight was lifted off your shoulders.
For a moment, the air was still.
For a moment, you felt the peace he’d told you about.
The stillness, the clarity, the calm.
The King broke the silence after a moment, “We have a saying here: Rain beats the panther’s skin but it does not wash out the spots.”
You glanced up at him, with a deadpan, “No matter how hard I try, I can’t escape who I am?”
“Something like that.”
“That is not helpful, your Highness.”
T’Challa chuckled, looking you over carefully before reaching over to wipe a stray tear that ran down your cheek, “You have to accept yourself. That is what I mean.”

MASTERLIST
“Goodnight” (part 2) // “Surprise” (part 3)
“Congratulations, Dolores. I’m so happy for you, you look absolutely stunning.”
Y/N kissed Dolores’ cheek. The latter smiled brightly. The freshly wedded couple had just arrived back at the Casita where the party was supposed to be taking place. Dolores wiped her hands against her white dress. She cupped the material in her hands, which caused the skirt lift a bit. Her lips curved into a smile as the realization that she was now a wife slowly dawned on her. Not a girlfriend, not a fiancée, not a bride. A wife.
“Thank you, Y/N.” she grabbed the teen’s hands with her own. She held them tightly and let out a shaky breath.
“You okay?”
“Yeah, yeah. Just still in shock that it actually happened.” Dolores let out a chuckle with tears forming in her eyes. “I’m not dreaming, am I? Y/N?”
“I assure you, you’re not, hon,” Y/N laughed. “You got married and it was beautiful.”
“Yeah, even mamá didn’t cry. I was a little stressed when I saw the clouds, but fortunately, she held it in.” Dolores’ voice was quiet but fast. “I gotta thank her, I’ll give her a big kiss on the cheek, you know?”
Y/N lightly shook the young woman’s hands to bring her back to the ground as she noticed she was starting to ramble. “See? But if it was a dream, I’d be really flattered you were dreaming of me.” Y/N elbowed the girl smirking slightly. Dolores giggled at that.
The tension in her shoulders disappeared. She felt her breathing come back to its regular pattern. She looked at the teen girl with a genuine and sweet smile.
“Thank you,”
“Yeah.” Y/N returned the gesture. “Now, go to your husband. Unlike Pepa, he probably couldn’t keep the happy tears in.”
Dolores nodded and she left looking for her groom. Her ear sticking out in hopes of hearing the tears of ecstasy.
Y/N watched her friend walk away. Her eyes lingered on the veil before they moved to the various embroidered decorations at the bottom of her skirt. White like the rest of the creation, so they wouldn’t take the attention from the one wearing it. Still, it was a nice touch. “What a beautiful bride,” she whispered to herself.
She was brought back from her trance when she felt someone tugging at her dress. She looked down.
“Hola, Antonio,” she greeted the youngest Madrigal. “What’s up? Are you asking me to dance with you?”
Antonio’s eyes widened like he realized something big. “Wait, can I?” the kid asked, excitement appearing in his eyes.
“If you want to. I know what a fabulous dancer you are, so I’m not sure I’ll be able to keep up though.” Y/N kneeled in front of the eight-year-old. Antonio smiled at her, but then shook his head.
“Ay, maybe later. My toucan told me that Mirabel is looking for you,” he said and grabbed Y/N’s hand pulling her towards the minibar, where his cousin was sitting.
Y/N yelped. Antonio had a surprisingly strong grip for a kid.
Mirabel smiled at the sight. It was very amusing to see her friend being tugged harshly by her little primo.
“Fancy seeing you here.” she greeted her.
“Don’t hog her for too long, okay?” Antonio pleaded and run off. Probably on his way to brag to his mamá about finding a new potential dance partner. Y/N and Mirabel exchanged looks before laughing wholeheartedly at the cute interaction. Y/N sat down on a stool next to the Madrigal girl. She spun around on it, which only caused Mirabel to roll her eyes. Y/N dramatically stopped and rested her elbow on the counter of the mini bar.
“Alright, amiga. Why did you summon me?”
“You’re funny,” Mirabel scoffed. “I just wanted to talk to my friend, seeing how I haven’t hung out with her for almost six months.”
“Missed me much, I see?” Y/N smirked. “God, you can’t live without me.”
Mirabel smacked her forehead with a snicker. “Shut up.”
Y/N laughed. Mirabel grabbed a drink that was standing on the bar, motioning to the bartender to make one for her friend as well.
“Y’all did a hell of a job. That was a beautiful wedding,” Y/N complimented. Mirabel nodded with a smile.
“Yep, we sure did.” she shook her glass looking at the swirling liquid. “I’m starting to think our family’s gift is just the ability to organize fancy parties.”
Y/N grinned. The bartender put her drink in front of her. She thanked him with a smile before bringing the glass to her lips.
Bitter. She thought.
Having just turned eighteen, she still wasn’t used to the taste of alcoholic drinks.
“Jeez, look at Abuela.” Mirabel pointed at her grandma who, despite being a seventy-year-old woman, was stealing the spotlight on the dance floor. Her son-in-law Félix was hyping her up. “She loves these things. Whenever there’s an occasion, she’ll make sure to celebrate as big as possible.”
“I still remember the party for the birth of Muñoz’ fifth child. She got the whole town involved,” Y/N added. “She made Isa grow flowers everywhere, and I mean everywhere. I was coughing petals for at least a week afterwards.”
Mirabel chuckled, putting her glass down. “See? I’ll be surprised if after today, she won’t stop fantasizing about another wedding for one of her grandkids,”
Y/N turned to stare at Mirabel. She put her glass down as well. “You think she’ll try and set up one of you? After what happened to Isa?”
“Maybe. After all, Mariano did marry a Madrigal, so she got what she wanted,”
Y/N hummed, she looked around in thought.
“No, I know that look. What are you thinking?” Mirabel sighed.
“Nothing!” Y/N exclaimed almost offended. “Just wondering who’ll be her next target.”
Mirabel’s eyes widened. She smirked.
“Ooh, okay. This could be fun.” she moved her stool closer to Y/N. “Let’s see, Dolores is already wedded so that leaves us with five kids.”
“Four. She’s not gonna set up an eight-year-old, for Christ’s sake,” Y/N pointed out. Mirabel nodded.
“Right. Although, if you think about it, Antonio will probably get married before Camilo,”
Y/N opened her mouth to ask why she thought that way, but was interrupted by the bartender loudly clearing his throat. The girls turned to look at him confused. The man looked around flustered before going back to cleaning the glasses. Y/N noticed his furrowed brows. What’s got him so mad?
“Why?” she turned back to Mirabel, ignoring the barman.
“Please, Antonio may be younger, but he’s twice as mature as his older brother,”
Y/N opened her mouth, but quickly closed it when she realized she didn’t have a counterargument. “Yep, I suppose you’re right,”
They heard a scoff next to them. They eyed the bartender, before looking at each other. Mirabel set Y/N a look that said what is up with this guy? To what Y/N responded with her eyes, no clue, hon.
“Okay…” Mirabel trailed back to their conversation. “We can cross out Isa too. I think Abuela learned that it’s better to let her be.”
Y/N nodded in agreement. “Luisa? I can’t really picture that, if I’m being honest.”
“Agreed. Men are scared of her.”
“As they should. But what about women?”
The girls looked at each other and Mirabel pressed her lips into a thin line. She tapped her chin lost in thought. “You know what? We’ll keep this one as a maybe.”
“You?”
“Me? Abuela won’t get anything out of this. I’m gift-less remember?” Mirabel snickered.
“She’ll get a wedding, right? Isn’t that what we’re talking about?” Y/N shrugged. “Besides, you have plenty of gifts.”
Mirabel looked at her with squinted eyes, indicating she wanted the girl to elaborate.
“You can sing, dance, sew. I mean Dolores’ dress? A work of art.” Y/N exclaimed.
Mirabel smiled gratefully. A few weeks back, Dolores had asked her to touch up her mother’s old wedding dress. She had told her that she wanted to bring a piece of everyone with her as she walks down the aisle. Dolores had always thought that Mirabel’s skirt is a lovely way to always have loved ones close to her, so she decided she wanted something similar on the most important dress of her life. When Mirabel heard all that, she cried. She cried for an hour. Out of all the finest tailors in Encanto, she picked Mirabel, her youngest prima. So touching. Mirabel had never put so much love in embroidery. She used only white thread to sew a little something that represented each member of the family. The decorations could be seen along the bottom of the dress, it’s sleeves and neckline. Such a simple detail, but made the whole dress so much more unique and meaningful. Dolores had never hugged anyone so tightly in her life as she had Mirabel when she showed her the finished product.
“Thank you, amiga, but still I don’t think Abuela’s making me get married anytime soon.”
Y/N shrugged as if to say you never know, but didn’t say anything else.
“So that leaves…” Mirabel wondered. She furrowed her brows and started counting her siblings and cousins on her fingers. “… no one.”
The girls looked at each other, before covering their mouths in laughter.
“No wonder Abuela’s going all in on the dance floor tonight. I think, just like us, she figured this is the last wedding in a long time.” Y/N said in between chuckles. Mirabel wiped a tear from her eye. “Yeah-“
“Okay, that’s enough!”
For the third time that night, Y/N’s and Mirabel’s heads snapped towards the bartender. Their expressions quickly changed from annoyed to horrified, when the man turned and in his place stood no other than the family’s shapeshifter.
“I am perfectly capable of marrying someone!” he exclaimed, pointing an accusing finger at his cousin.Y/N was shocked and so was Mirabel. They didn’t respond for a whole minute. They looked at each other with fear in their eyes. “And I’m not immature!” Camilo continued.
Mirabel snickered at that, her usual smile reappearing on her features. “Said the guy, who just eavesdropped our whole conversation pretending to be a barman,”
After the initial shock, Y/N squinted her eyes. She suspiciously eyed the Madrigal boy and then moved her eyes to the drinks he apparently made. Her eyes widened in realization when she noticed the lack of liquid in the glasses.
“Oh, I don’t think he did that so he could eavesdrop,” she said picking up her glass. Mirabel eyed the glass she was holding and then looked at her own. Her eyebrows shot up.
“Camilo! Have you been stealing the drinks?!” she yelled, barely containing her anger. Camilo bit his lip and looked around for an escape. Before the girls could react, he shifted into a little boy and started running. He didn’t get far as Y/N swiftly grabbed his collar and yanked him towards her. She sat little-boy-Camilo on her lap. Mirabel eyed him. “What the hell, Camilo?”
“Okay, sorry jeez. I just wanted to test my bartending skills. Turns out I’m pretty good and the drinks were tasty. You just left yours there, not paying attention, so I went for it,” he explained with a sigh.
Y/N had to contain her smile because even though she knew it was Camilo, all she saw was a little boy talking about bartending.
“Are you drunk?” Mirabel asked. “How many fingers am I holding up?”
Camilo swatted her hands out of his face in annoyance. “I’m not drunk! And keep it down, okay? My sister has super hearing for Christ’s sake.”
“So you’re sober?” Y/N chimed in. Little-boy-Camilo nodded. “Okay… Even if I do this?” she asked cheekily.
Before Camilo could ask what she meant by that, Y/N bounced her legs up and down a bit. Camilo grabbed the counter of the bar.
“Stop that,” he pleaded and Y/N obeyed, yet was still grinning. “Fine, I’m a little dizzy, but other than that I’m feeling great! Back to the marriage thing,” Camilo shifted back into his usual self, remaining on Y/N’s lap. “I’m willing to bet I’ll be the next one at the altar.”
Mirabel scoffed and Y/N was too busy registering the position she found herself in. Her breath hitched, She couldn’t help but notice Camilo was really light. She didn’t even try to push him off of her lap, seeing how comfortable he has made himself.
“Right, you’ve never dated anyone in your entire life,” Mirabel pointed out.
Camilo shrugged. “Dating’s overrated. I’m a Madrigal, I can just come up to someone, pop the question and boom! Marriage,” he said almost hitting Y/N with his wild gestures. She caught his hand just in time before it collided with her face.
Only then did Camilo notice that he was still on her lap. Yet instead of getting off, he smiled mischievously. Y/N inhaled sharply through her nose, mentally preparing for some nonsense to come out of Camilo’s mouth. Camilo turned back to his cousin.
“Like Y/N over here, see? I bet she’d say yes if I proposed,”
“What the fu-“ Y/N started.
“Are you nuts?” Mirabel exclaimed at the same time. Camilo laughed clutching his stomach.
“Think about this though, she has no reason to decline,” he started explaining after gaining back his composure. “You two will see each other every day, Y/N will gain some recognition in the village and she’ll marry someone she’s attracted to.”
Mirabel choked on her spit. Y/N coughed to hide her red cheeks that warmed up due to the embarrassment she was feeling.
“Who told you I’m attracted to you?” she asked. “I’m not.”
Camilo looked at her with a smirk and leaned closer. “Then why am I still on your lap, mi vida?” he asked with a low voice and that stupid smile. “I believe you have a little crush on me,”
Y/N pressed her lips into a thin line and looked at him unamused. “Well, I believe you’re drunker than you think,” she said and with one swift movement pushed him off of her lap. Camilo yelped and stumbled in his step, but managed to not fall onto the floor. He laughed to cover his flustered state and crossed his arms looking at Y/N. The girl stared him down with visible frustration on her face.
Then, in the corner of her eye, she spotted Antonio who waved at her. She turned to Camilo. “Lovely chat, but I gotta go. You know, the other, more mature, Madrigal boy is waiting for me.” she smiled fakely and made her way towards Antonio. She promised him a dance, after all, right?
Camilo scoffed, looking at her figure.
“I’m willing to take that bet. I have a feeling I’ll win, primo.” Mirabel said, elbowing Camilo and following Y/N. She quickly found her sisters and joined them on the dance floor.
Camilo rolled his eyes. Dusting himself off, he went back to the minibar.
—
“Come on, Y/N. One more song, please?” Antonio pleaded the older girl.
Y/N left the dance floor. She rested her hands on her knees, trying to catch a breath. Her body hadn’t stopped moving for fifteen songs before the exhaustion finally caught up with her. Her legs felt like jelly, she couldn’t lift her arms and she was in desperate need of a chair and a glass of water. She was absolutely worn out. Her dance partner, on the other hand, was looking better than ever. She couldn’t spot a single drop of sweat on his face. He looked like he could go on forever. Antonio could store so much energy inside that little body of his that it was honestly scaring Y/N.
“Not a chance, Toñito. That is, unless you want me to pass out in the middle of the room?” she chuckled lightly. She put a hand on her rib where she felt a cramp forming. She lifted her head a bit by doing so and her gaze just so happened to lay on the main characters of the night. Dolores’ arms were tightly wrapped around one of her partner’s. Her head rested on his shoulder as she watched the party with dreamy eyes. Mariano also had a dreamy look on his face, but his was directed at his wife.
Cute. Y/N thought.
“How about you ask your sister to dance?” she smiled at the boy.
He followed her gaze, standing on his tiptoes to see his older sibling. He looked back at Y/N and the sudden frown on his face didn’t go unnoticed by her. “Something wrong?”
“You think she’ll let me dance with her?”
Y/N kneeled down to match Antonio’s level. “Of course! Why wouldn’t she?”
Antonio fiddled with his fingers. “She’s been avoiding me these past few weeks,” he whispered looking down. Y
/N felt her eyes watering, he looked so sad. And Antonio was the last person on this planet that deserved to be sad. She took his little hands into her own. “Dolores was just preoccupied with the wedding, you know? I’m sure you asking her to dance will be one of the best gifts she’ll receive today. She probably misses you just as much,”
Antonio smiled lightly and hugged Y/N. “Thanks,”
“Yeah, now go and try to make your sister as tired as you made me,”
Antonio chuckled and run off to Dolores. Just as Y/N predicted, her eyes brightened at the sight of her youngest brother. Y/N saw her nod her head eagerly and soon the siblings were stepping onto the dance floor. Dolores placed Antonio’s feet on her own before grabbing his hands and swaying from side to side. Both of them had huge grins on their faces and Y/N decided she had never seen anything more adorable.
Y/N felt a cold breeze at the back of her neck. She smiled at the soothing feeling. She inhaled deeply and soon her breath came back to normal.
“Hold on…” she muttered realizing something. She looked up and saw what she feared. Dark clouds. And exactly in that moment, she felt another, stronger, breeze on her skin.
Ay, Señora Pepa, what’s happening? She asked herself.
She looked around hoping to find the mother of the bride.
“Pepi, amor, the clouds,” she heard Señor Félix’s faint voice. It was coming from the kitchen.
It seemed the exhaustion vanished from her system, as Y/N marched into the room with a newfound speed. She saw Pepa walking in circles, bolts of lightning shooting from a cloud above her head.
Oh, she was mad. Not good, not good.
Her husband was desperately trying to get her to drink some tea that Mirabel (who Y/N just noticed) was pouring into a cup. Once Pepa saw Y/N, she tried to smile, but her tight jaw prevented the smile to look genuine. Bolts of Lightning calmed down a bit at least.
“Is everything okay, Señora Pepa?” she asked carefully stepping further into the room.
“Yes-“
“It’s Camilo,” Félix interrupted her which caused his wife to shoot him a dirty look.
Y/N looked at Mirabel puzzled. Mirabel just gave her a look that said don’t even get me started and grabbed the teacup giving it to her aunt. Pepa accepted the beverage and sighed.
“He got drunk,” she explained and took a sip from her cup. She smiled gratefully at her youngest niece sitting down on a chair. Y/N’s eyes widened. She opened her mouth to say something, but Pepa continued.
“I don’t care, of course! I’m his mother alright, but he’s eighteen. He can make his own decisions and, for all I care, getting drunk can be one of them!” Pepa paused to take a sip. “But tonight?! It’s his only sister’s wedding for the love of-. Little brat, always doing everything to be in the spotlight!”
Félix gently massaged his wife’s shoulders and soon the cloud dispersed. Pepa’s jaw was still clenched.
“We don’t know where he is,” Mirabel said, walking over to her friend. “He run off after Pepa found him trying to eat the frozen dough my mom prepared for tomorrow’s Almojábanas.”
Y/N had to press her lips together really tightly so that she wouldn’t start laughing. Seeing Mirabel’s expression, she knew she was doing the same thing.
“Great,” Y/N sighed. “It’s only a matter of time before he makes a complete fool out of himself.”
Mirabel nodded. “I’ll go check the party, maybe he’s wandering somewhere. Hopefully, I’ll get to him before Dolores sees him.” she patted Y/N shoulder and returned to the patio.
Y/N walked over to Pepa. “You should go and enjoy the party, Señora,”
“But-“
“I’m sure Dolores wouldn’t want you to worry on a day like this,” she cut the woman off. The girl grabbed her hands gently and pulled her up. “I’ll look for him and make sure he doesn’t do anything stupid. You have my word,” she reassured her.
Pepa smiled gratefully and gave Y/N a big kiss on the forehead.
“Thank you,” Félix whispered to Y/N as he guided his wife out of the kitchen. Y/N watched them leave, before clasping her hands together.
“Alright Madrigal,” she sighed. “where the hell are you?”
—
Camilo was not in his room. He wasn’t on the first floor at all actually. Y/N didn’t find him in the gardens as well.
What if I did find him, but he was pretending to be someone else?
Y/N dreaded that thought. If that was the case, everything would’ve been way harder. She went back to the ground floor, the party still lively. She noticed Mirabel dancing with Dolores. Probably to distract her from finding out her brother was most likely laying somewhere passed out. That or Mirabel decided her primo was not worth her precious time. Both equally likely to be true.
Living in a small village like Encanto meant that everyone knew each other more or less. Y/N decided she could use it to her advantage. Her eyes scanned the room, trying to point out even the slightest changes in the behavior of Encanto residents, hoping one of them is actually the boy she was looking for.
Maybe drunk Camilo is a forgetful Camilo? Maybe he forgot he’s a shapeshifter? That would be nice.
She groaned, pinching the bridge of her nose. She went over to the minibar - the place that started it all. She sat down on a stool, Y/N didn’t spin this time. She was in no mood for that.
“Y/N?”
She snapped her head towards the sudden voice. She stood up abruptly, seeing Camilo leaning against the wall. The moment she locked eyes with him, he smiled brightly and skipped over to her.
“Hi,” he said with a grin. He looked like an excited child, swinging back and forth on the balls of his feet. What’s gotten him so happy?
“Hi? That’s what I get? Do you have any ide-hmph!”
Before she could start getting angry, Camilo cut her off with… A hug. He slid his hands under her arms and tightly wrapped them around her waist. His face was buried in the crook of her neck. Y/N’s cheeks flushed when she felt his warm, alcohol-smelling breath on her skin. “Camilo?”
“Shush, you’re too loud, princesa.”
Camilo hugged her tighter, slightly lifting her of the ground. She hesitantly wrapped her arms around his neck when she stopped feeling the floor underneath her feet.
“Oh, dios mío, Camilo.” she sighed not letting go. “How are you feeling?”
Camilo smiled and Y/N could feel that. Her face became even warmer. “Better now, that you found me.”
“Yeah, okay.” the cheeky Camilo she knew was still there. “We should get you to bed.”
Camilo loosened the grip on her figure and faced her with a smirk. Y/N hit his arm.
“No.”
“I didn’t say anything!”
“The look on your face was enough. Let’s go.” she grabbed his wrist and started leading him towards the stairs.
“Ay, hermosa, are you mad at me?” Camilo pouted. Y/N didn’t respond. Just tugged on his hand.
“Y/N, mi vida, princesa, cariña,” Camilo whined. “Mi amor.”
Y/N shot him an angry look. A furious one actually. Camilo just laughed and then it was his turn to pull Y/N by her hand. And so he did just that, making them stop just in front of his room. Y/N glared at him. Camilo tapped her nose. Her death stares were not working well, that dumbass was grinning from ear to ear.
“Don’t be mad at me,” he whispered.
Silence.
“Please,”
Y/N rolled her eyes. “I’ll think about it. Did you throw up? How bad is it?”
She inspected his face and Camilo smiled wider, if that was even possible. But then his expression fell and his gaze spaced out. “You know, now that you mention this…”
Y/N’s eyes widened in fear. She grabbed his shoulders, turned him so his back was facing her.
“Okay, bathroom it is.” she rushed him towards the baño.
—
“Thanks, Mira,”
Camilo was not in a good state. He may have stopped puking fifteen minutes ago, but there was no way he’d stand up on his own. Y/N didn’t let him leave the bathroom. First, his head had to stop spinning. She was guarding the bathroom’s door, when Mirabel came to check on them, with a glass of water and one of Julieta’s arepas.
“Is he okay?” Mirabel asked.
“Nope,” Y/N responded, taking the drink and snack from her friend’s hands.
“Good. Karma,”
Y/N shot her an amused look. “This your cousin for Christ’s sake,” she said with laughter. Mirabel shrugged.
“Eh.” she pulled her glasses up her nose. “You got this, right?”
Y/N nodded. “Yeah, don’t worry. He’s not the only fine babysitter in town,”
Mirabel chuckled and made her way downstairs. Presumably to assure Pepa that her son was in good hands.
Y/N stepped into the bathroom, closing the door with her foot. She sat down in front of the shapeshifter. Camilo shot her a lopsided grin. He opened his mouth to say something, but the girl stopped him by shoving the arepa in his mouth.
“Eat. You’ll feel better,” she said and gave him the glass of water. He took it and almost spilled the liquid all over the floor.
Still tipsy. Y/N thought. He couldn’t see straight.
“So,” Y/N started. “wanna tell me why you drunk so much?”
Camilo looked at her puzzled. He swallowed the food before answering. “I told you already, turns out I make pretty decent drinks,”
Y/N shook her head. “No. That’s the version you told me and Mirabel. What’s the version you’re gonna tell me? You know, just me,”
There was no doubt about Y/N being Mirabel’s best friend. Ever since they were eight years old they had been stuck to the hip. The Madrigals quickly took a liking to the girl and in no time she was being treated like a part of the family. Y/N had this ability, this gift, to be able to befriend just about everyone. Camilo was no exception. He liked her too. A lot. He just expressed that in his own way. By teasing and calling her pet names, of course. But, truth to be told, he did consider Y/N one of his closest friends. And while Mirabel was Y/N’s secret keeper, Y/N was his. He liked knowing someone outside of his family is willing to listen to his stupid rants. She knew some pretty wild stuff about him, that no one else did. Well, maybe except of his sister. The point was that Camilo could trust Y/N, because she saw right through him anyway.
He groaned covering his face. He hit his head against the wall that he was resting his back on and looked up.
“Ay, mi corazón, you know me too well,” he chuckled, the smile reappearing on his face. “I guess… It’s just the whole wedding thing, you know. Makes one contemplate all their life choices and stuff.”
“Are you having an existential crisis? I can’t deal with a breakdown and drunk Camilo, nope. I only have two hands,”
“No,” Camilo laughed lightly. “I don’t know, life moves fast and shit. God, I’m so drunk.”
“Alright, take it easy, amigo,”
Y/N crawled across the floor and positioned herself next to the boy. Their hips were touching, but none of them minded, having been this close before. She turned her head towards the counter next to them and reached into a drawer. Her arm was twisted at a funny angle as she was scouring the inside of the drawer. After a few seconds, she took out a black pen. She grinned in victory. She spun the pen in her fingers, turning back to Camilo and that was when he realized she was holding an eyeliner. Taking Camilo's hand in her own, she took the cap off using her teeth and began doodling on the back of his palm. Nothing specific, just random shapes and words. The boy looked at her with a smile and half-lidded eyes. He placed his head on her shoulder, his curls brushing against her cheek.
“Are you mad at me?” Camilo asked quietly.
No. Y/N wrote on his palm.
“Good,” he nodded tiredly. “Y/N?”
She hummed waiting for whatever he had to say.
“Do you ever want to get married?”
She stopped in her tracks. Her grip on the eyeliner tightened. She looked at him, eyes wide and eyebrows high.
“I… I don’t know,” she said truthfully.
Camilo wrapped his hand around her palm. He started playing with her fingers. “Well, you should. You’d make a beautiful bride,”
“Oh, I know, Milo.” she replied cheekily. Her voice filled with pride. Camilo chuckled, his cheeks and nose pink and Y/N wondered whether it was because of the comment he had made or his drunken state.
“Y/N, you know I like you, right?”
“I like you too Camilo. Usually,”
“I want you to always be in my life,”
“Is this another proposal?”
“Don’t go anywhere, mi vida. Promise me that.” he ignored her question.
Camilo grabbed her cheeks, rather harshly and sloppily, and made her look at him. Y/N felt the words stuck in her throat as she stared into his eyes. His gaze was pleading and she could see his eyes becoming glassy like he was about to cry.
“I promise,” she ensured him.
Camilo nodded with satisfaction and let go of her face. “Good, that’s good.” he sighed, closing his eyes. Y/N let out a breath she didn’t know she was holding. Was Camilo falling asleep? God, she hoped so.
“I don’t think I like being a shapeshifter anymore,”
Nope, far from falling asleep.
“Why is that?” Y/N wondered.
“Because,” he choked out. “I’m only important when I’m not myself.”
Y/N’s eyes widened. “Camilo…”
“Could you help me get to my room?” he cut her off.
The girl blinked at the sudden change of topic and a confused sound left her mouth. She watched Camilo trying to stand up, his gaze was successfully avoiding hers. He seemed flustered and embarrassed like he was suddenly filled with regret. Like he thought that sudden confession was too much. “Please?”
She swallowed and nodded. She tightly wrapped her right arm around his torso, helping him up to his feet. Her other hand took his and she swung around her shoulder. Her hand started caressing his palm. Camilo stumbled, but fortunately, Y/N’s firm grip prevented him from ending up on the floor again. She slowly and carefully led him to his bedroom.
She looked at him from the corner of her eye. Her lips parted slightly, the words got stuck in her throat. She wanted to tell him, tell him that he was important. Hell, he was probably one of the most important people in her life. She wanted to tell him that it was okay to feel that way and that he could tell her more. She wanted to tell him she was there and that she’ll always be. She promised after all, right? She wanted to tell him he could be sad, angry, scared when around her. He didn’t have to act like the cheeky chameleon everyone assumed he was.
Camilo, don’t shut me out.
But she remained silent.
—
Camilo hadn’t said anything since getting out of the baño. The only sounds he made were the occasional sniffs. He was sitting at the edge of his bed with his head down. He couldn’t remember how exactly he ended up there, but was thankful he did. Y/N stood in front of him. She carefully removed the black waistcoat that his tío Augustín had lent him. Camilo didn’t even realize how much it felt like a rib crushing hug on him.
“Do you need anything?” Y/N asked, her voice barely above a whisper. “I could go grab more water-”
“No!” Camilo exclaimed as he grabbed her wrist. Y/N looked at him, startled. “Just… Just stay…”
“Okay, sure,”
Camilo’s grip on her wrist loosened and his hand slid down to her palm. He intertwined their fingers together. He lightly pulled her towards him and wrapped his arms around her waist, his head leaned against her stomach. Camilo’s breath hitched as he felt her fingers sliding in his locks, Y/n’s scent reached his nostrils. She smelled like almonds. Very sweet, but not too sweet. But perhaps his own smell, the alcoholic one, was mixing with hers, taking away some of that sweetness. Whatever the scent was, Camilo decided he wouldn’t let go of the girl if it meant he could smell it forever.
“You wanna talk about what you said back there?” she asked with caution.
“What do you mean?”
“Camilo, come on. You’re worrying me,”
“I am?” he asked, looking up at her. Y/N rolled her eyes when she noticed the corner of his mouth lifting up. “No te preocupes, hermosa. I was just joking. That’s like… my whole thing, right?”
“Ay, Camilo,”
Y/N untangled herself from his grip at which Camilo had to fight the urge to groan in disappointment. She sat on his bed, legs crossed, and she motioned for him to do the same. With a sigh, he obliged and sat facing her. Camilo thought that they looked like they were about to play battleship. But then he realized that was a bad observation because they didn’t have the game. The alcohol was making him really dumb. What kind of thought even was that?
Y/N leaned forward with her hands on her knees. She eyed Camilo with squinted eyes and thin lips. The shapeshifter almost looked away. Her heavy gaze was not making him comfortable. Suddenly he felt very, very small and very, very vulnerable. Like Y/N was looking directly into his soul and mind. He didn’t like that. He was going to snap soon and start shapeshifting out of nervousness. So he decided to do the next best thing.
“Like what you see?” he asked cheekily trying to cover the agitation with a smug look.
Nothing in his eighteen years of life had prepared him for her response.
“Yes,” she said matter of factly. “You’re a beautiful boy, Camilo.”
Chaos. That was what commenced in his head. His thoughts started flying everywhere, he was sure that his mind looked like one of his mom’s hurricanes. All his usual remarks got lost somewhere and his mind went blank. His cheeks got warm and red, so did his nose and neck. He tried to say something, anything. But all that came out were quiet and pathetic attempts to form simple words. His breath hitched and his pupils got small.
“W-what?” he stuttered.
“You’re a beautiful boy,” Y/N repeated with such calm that it made Camilo shiver. “You’re beautiful when you’re you, Camilo.”
“I-”
“Has no one ever told you that?” Y/N asked. But she didn’t wait for a response.
She changed her position and crawled over to the boy in front of her. They were now inches apart and Camilo could see her face very clearly. He noticed a little scar close to her eyebrow and wondered if it had always been there. Y/N grabbed his forearm.
“You have pretty arms,” she started carefully. “I like your elbows, especially when you use them to shove me when you find out you won the bet we had.”
Camilo’s head was empty, he couldn’t do anything. He couldn’t move or think. All he could do was stare intensely at his friend. Y/N dropped his arm and pushed some of his hair out of his forehead.
“I like your forehead,” she continued with a shrug. “Because it’s a perfect spot to flick you when you do something dumb, like today.” she flicked him lightly. “Also, I like how this is the only spot you let Pepa kiss because it’s less embarrassing than a kiss on the cheek.”
Camilo involuntarily raised his gaze as if he was trying to see his forehead. Y/N smiled at that. She cupped his face next.
“I like your face a lot, especially your freckles. They look like constellations.” she rubbed her thumb on his cheeks. “I like your lips too.”
“Wait, what?” he said gently, genuinely surprised.
“Yeah, I like when they curve into a smile, you have a pretty smile,”
“You mean it?”
“It’s kind of addicting to look at,” she added and that made Camilo smile. Y/N booped his nose and returned to her previous position.
She sighed and looked at the boy. He looked back and their eyes met. And Camilo swore he saw the purest admiration in her gaze. Like she was looking at the most precious thing ever. He hoped it wasn’t just his drunk brain playing tricks on him. Oh god, he really hoped so. They stayed like this for a while. Eyes locked, smiles on their faces and the feeling of the almond smell hugging them.
“You should get some rest. You need to be in form when Dolores sends Isabela to hunt you down tomorrow.” Y/N stood up and ruffled his hair. Camilo grinned like a little kid.
“That’s smart, you’re a smart one, you know,” he said on one breath. Y/N scoffed. Camilo stood up abruptly, making her step back in surprise.
“But first,” Camilo skipped over to his desk. He regretted that instantly feeling his gut twist. He grabbed a notebook and a pen. “write down everything you just said.”
“Excuse me?” Y/N asked. Her face indicated that she was very, very confused.
“I need this for later,” he didn’t have to explain what for. Y/N immediately guessed he wanted to brag to his cousins later. “also… Just so if I wake up with a blank mind, I’ll remember.”
“Okay, I suppose that’s fine.” she grabbed the items and started scribbling words as Camilo crawled into his bed. He lied down with a dreamy sigh.
He looked at Y/N with half-lidded eyes and a shit-eating grin. He scanned her face. Her eyes were focused, her lower lip bit by her teeth and eyebrows scrunched. And Camilo thought it was a pretty sight.
“Can I marry you?”
“This is the third time today, you’re getting repetitive,” Y/N responded nonchalantly giving him the notebook back.
“Please? I want Mirabel to lose the bet,” he begged with clasped hands.
Y/N started laughing. Camilo scoffed loudly and dramatically rolled his eyes. He pointed a finger gun at her. He held her at gunpoint. They often did that to get the truth out of the other. A childish thing, but cute nevertheless.
“Marry me,” he demanded. Y/N pressed her lips tightly to not let out more giggles.
“Go to sleep,”
“Answer me first,”
“No,”
“No as in No, I won’t marry you or No, I won’t answer?”
“Keep talking and I’ll send Isa after you myself,”
“Feisty, I like that,”
Y/N smacked him on the head. She pushed him down onto the mattress and wrapped the covers around him. She made sure to do it as tight as possible, secretly wanting him to not be able to untangle himself and escape. Camilo’s gaze was focused on the notebook as she was doing so. He paid no mind to her as he reread the words over and over smiling under his nose.“Dulces sueños, Milo,”
She turned on her heel. Just as she was about turn the doorknob, she heard Camilo mutter.
“I knew you were attracted to me after all,”
She grabbed one of his shoes that was lying by her feet and threw it at him.
—
“How is he?” Mirabel asked, seeing her friend back downstairs. Pepa, Julieta and Augustín stood behind Mira.
“Asleep.” Y/N’s response made the adults exhale in relief. A little cloud above Pepa’s head disappeared. Augustín stepped forward and opened his mouth to say something, but Y/N cut him off.
“Your waistcoat survived, don’t worry,” she chuckled. The man smiled in relief. Pepa and Julieta thanked the girl before going back to the party, this time with close to no worry. Mirabel grabbed Y/n’s arm and hooked it with her own. Y/N smiled at her friend.
“You good?” Mira asked.
“Yep,” Y/N responded. “I survived too, somehow.”
“Good, because I’ve been dying to dance with you the whole night,”
Y/N had no time to tell Mirabel that she was still pretty worn out after dancing with Antonio as Mirabel spared no time in pushing her friend onto the dance floor. She was soon surrounded by all three Madrigal sisters. Many strands of hair escaped Isabela’s updo and her lipstick was a tiny bit smudged but that didn’t stop her from grabbing Luisa’s arms and spinning her while jumping around with a happy smile. Y/n let herself relax and enjoy the rest of the night. She spun Mirabel around and her eyes scanned the room. Most of the people had already left so, besides a few villagers, the only ones left were the Madrigals. She spotted Julieta dancing with her husband and chuckled lightly seeing that she was leading.
Smart move. She congratulated Julieta in her mind.
She noticed Abuela, who seemed to not have left the dance floor since Y/N last saw her. She looked at Pepa and the many rainbows above her head as she watched her husband dancing with their youngest son. Then her eyes drifted to Dolores - the star of the night. Y/N’s eyebrows shot up a little at the sight. Dolores was dancing slowly with her tío Bruno. His moves were a little sloppy and awkward, but he did seem like he was genuinely enjoying himself. He looked happy.
Dolores’ eyes met Y/N’s and the bride smiled and winked at the girl. Y/N shook her head as she knew what Dolores meant. With that smile, she was silently thanking her for babysitting her troublemaking brother and by that wink she let her know that indeed, she’d be sending Isa after Camilo the next morning. Maybe she’d even let Luisa join her.
“He’s so dead,” Y/N concluded.

(Here’s a Yandere Todo Aoi x Female Reader story :P I wrote up the layout for this a while ago, and I’m currently madly in love w him, so here we are!
Thank you all so much for your support and being so understanding of my situation. I love you all so much ;)
TW: !noncon/dubcon!, !Has a whole ass shrine dedicated to you, you literally don’t know he exists lmao, !claims he's ur bf to everyone, manipulation!, intimidation!, sort of kidnapping!, !forced cunnilingus!, etc..
Please proceed with caution!)
“(Your Name)-Chan, why didn’t you tell us that you have a boyfriend?” You slowly stop chewing, chopsticks going slack in your hand. Eyes darting towards your friend Mika, you raise an unamused eyebrow.
“What are you talking about, Mika-Chan? I don’t have a boyfriend,” All of your girlfriends look at each other, unbelieving of your claim. All giggle, thinking that you’re just being shy.
“Ne~ don’t be coy! It’s okay to tell us about your boyfriend! From the pictures I’ve seen, he’s quite handsome, huh?” At this point, you’re completely confused. Are they pranking you? You don’t have a boyfriend!
“I genuinely have no idea what you’re talking about-“ The seat next to you slides out, and a hulking figure plops itself down on the wooden chair, the wood creaking horrifically underneath their weight.
Their arm wraps around the back of your own chair, practically engulfing you in the crook of their enormous elbow, “Hey, Pretty Girl. I’m sorry that I’m late, you know how late my classes run sometimes.”
You’re too scared to even turn towards the large man, choosing instead to look at your friends with a horrified expression. They don’t notice it, too busy ogling at the apparent eye candy next to you, “Uhm, I’m sorry, but who are you? And why do they think that you’re my boyfriend?” An awkward silence immediately follows after, the man’s hand gripping the wood behind you so hard that it creaks.
He forces a deep laugh, which sounds quite menacing. He moves his hand onto your back, his warm palm felt through your stylish top, “You’re so funny, (Nickname)-Chan! It’s alright, you don’t need to hide me anymore. I messaged your girls last week, they know about us.”
“Yeah, (First Name)-Chan! It’s okay! We think you’re both so adorable,” They practically fawn over the two of you, trying to push you closer into each other’s arms. The man next to you takes this in stride, practically hauling your chair up next to his. His arm is now fully around you, as you lean in close to your hair and neck. He inhaled deeply, a satisfied grunt rumbling through his chest.
“Don’t do anything stupid, (Your Name)-Chan. If you know what’s good for you, you’ll follow my every whim,” Tears of fear and anxiety bead your eyes, which your friends take as relief that you’re no longer hiding away from them.
“Don’t cry, (First Name)-Chan! It’s okay! We all support you wholeheartedly!”
The rest of the lunch consisted of you being extremely uncomfortable, and your closest friends being none the wiser. Somehow, they don’t notice how you constantly inch away from him, only to be dragged back to his side. Somehow, they don’t know how he’s whispering mild threats into your ear.
But, through this time, you learned the name of your so-called ‘boyfriend.’ Todo Aoi, the beast currently keeping you glued to your seat in fear. He’s so much bigger than you, so much faster, seemingly so much smarter.
“Bye, (First Name)-Chan, Bye, Todo-Kun! It was nice to meet you!” Your friends wave the two of you off, one of his large hands securely on the small of your back. His grip is bruising, controlling. Todo practically pushes you towards an unknown destination, your body only able to continue forward, whether you wanted it to or not.
“I’m proud of you, (First Name)-Chan. I knew my girl was smart, beautiful, and capable. This just proved it to me,” A small whimper escapes your throat, as fresh tears bead your eyes.
“Why are you doing this? What do you want from me?” A booming laugh is heard, practically shaking the ground below you, causing you to flinch.
“Why am I doing this? Well, I’m doing this, because I love you. I want us to be together, so we’re going home,” He says this as if it solved all of your problems.
“But we don’t know each other, why even bother-“
“We know each other. I saved your life, remember?” For the first time tonight, you look at him. His distinct scar immediately catches your attention- this man did, in fact, save your life. Two months prior, someone or something shoved you onto some train tracks, right in front of an oncoming train. In a mere moment, the bulky man grabbed you from the tracks, and hopped back up onto the platform, effectively saving your life.
“I-Bu-But what? We met only once, and-“ He shushes you, forcing you closer to his side, his entire hand practically engulfing your waist.
“There’s no need to worry. In that Moment, I knew that you were meant to be my beautiful Princess. You need me to care for you, and I’m up for the task.”
“Princess? Sir, I think you need help! We’ve only talked once, and while I’m grateful for you saving my life, I think this is excessive! Please let me go!”
He ignores you, sighing dreamily about what the two of you will get up to. Todo couldn’t wait to add more to your shrine at home! He’ll be sure to get as much dirty clothes, used tissues, and everything else he could ever want!
Forcing you into an upper class loft building, he guides you by the small of your spine into a lift, disregarding the old woman inside. She looks at you as if the both of you are the most adorable couple she’s ever seen, making you shift in discomfort. Todo takes it in stride, practically preening under her gaze, but pretending it has no effect on him.
He nonchalantly presses his floor’s number, before placing that hand on your hip, and rubbing it in circular motions. You try to move away from him, but his grip is solid.
Before long, the lift stops on his floor, and he pushes you out. You stumble into the area outside of his front door- his home being the only one on the entire floor. The door itself has a pin pad on its handle, which he quickly typed in, once he’s directly in front of it, leading you to believe that there’s most likely a second pin pad on the other side.
Once you hear the click of the door being unlocked, Todo moves away from the entryway, and motions you inside, “Go ahead, Princess.”
In a Moment of defiance, you shake your Head no, “I think this has gone on long enough,” His eyes narrow slightly, yet you continue, practically shaking in your shoes, “I-I don’t want to go inside. Please let me go home.”
His booming laughter fills the small space, as he shakes his head in disbelief, “You’re adorable, (Nickname)-Chan! Now, go inside before I become angry.” The bite in his final words forces you forward, into his dark flat.
He flicks on the light switch the moment you step inside, momentarily blinding you. Once you’re able to blink away the dots swimming in your vision, you’re greeted with a fairly normal sight. The living room, kitchen, and dining room are conjoined in an open concept, making the large place seem even larger. Two hallways branch off on either side of the large room, most likely leading to a master, a guest room, bathroom, and an office.
“What do you think? I read in a magazine that women like clean homes, so I deep clean this flat at least once a week.”
You aren’t sure what to say, but you nod along anyway, “Yes, it’s very nice.” He beams down at you, cheeks practically stretching to the fullest extent.
“This shows that I know how to make women happy! I believe that’s a redeeming quality,” You awkwardly give him the side eye, “Oh, don’t look at me like that, silly girl! I have many more redeeming qualities if that one isn’t good enough. Now,” He clasps your shoulder with a large hand, “Why don’t I show you our bedroom?”
“Our?” Your eyes are practically bugging out of your skull, as he nods gleefully.
“We’re a couple, aren’t we? And couples share everything with each other.”
With that, he practically drags you down the left hallway. There’s only one door at the end of the hall, signalling that this is the master bedroom. With one hand, he pushes open the door, before coaxing you inside. His hand that was previously on your shoulder migrates to the bottom of your spine. The room is a mixture of black and your favourite colour, showcasing that this room is the both of yours.
The bed is quite large, most likely to accommodate your large captor and yourself, “I thought you’d like that your favourite colour is in here.”
You say nothing, tears beading your eyes. You wring your hands in anxiety, as he leads you to the bed. He sits you down on the edge, before kneeling in front of you. Todo leans forward, resting on your thighs, all whilst still practically towering over you even when sitting.
“Why’re you crying, Princess? There’s no reason to,” He swipes under your eye the moment the first tear falls.
“Why am I crying? You must be joking! You-you just kidnapped me!” He shushes you once more, causing a spark of anger to course through you. He hasn’t listened to a single complaint you’ve voiced! “Stop doing that! It’s rude! I’m allowed to be upset-“
With two massive hands, he forces your thighs open, “I know your work has you stressed, Pretty Girl- why don’t you let me calm you down?” He pushes his hands up your thighs, your skirt barely covering your pussy, allowing his thumbs to ghost over your panty clad cunny.
You try to thrash out of his hold, pushing against his hands, “No! Let go of me!” Your thrashing does nothing, as just the weight of his forearms we’re enough to press your thighs to the bed. His left hand rubs against your clit and hole, trying to make you as wet as possible. You try to push against his forearms, but he presses down harder.
His thumb rubs fluidly over your clit in an even pressure. Your hips press up, trying to buck him off, but it only causes him to press down harder. In no time, you’re growing wet against his ministrations. You choke back your whines, smacking his arms, before pushing against his head which hovers just above your cunt.
“Do you feel that, Princess? You’re getting so wet!” He suddenly presses his open mouth against your mound, tongue matching pace with his thumb. A moan escapes your throat before you can stop it, halting the large man in his tracks. You sound so perfect to him!
In one swift motion, he yanks your panties down your legs, and tosses them onto the mattress beside you. You try to close your legs, but it’s no use. I’m seconds, he has your thighs presses as far open as they can go, and his face is buried in your pretty cunny. His tongue dips into your folds, savouring your taste, before flicking against your clit.
His tongue rubs against your clit in swift, smooth motions, quickly causing you to grow wetter than before. Your slick drips down your cunny, coating your ass and inner thighs. More moans escape your mouth, as you writhe against him.
“Sto-Stop! Oh my god-“ He gives a small laugh at your begs, eating you out faster than before. Loud slurps and ‘mms’ are heard throughout the room, as you quickly go over the edge. Your juices squirt out of your cunny, coating his chin and his shoulders in slick. A loud keen is heard throughout the room.
The mixture of your wonderful cum and loud moans causes the large man to bust a load in his pants. He groans against you, causes your thighs to tremble in overstimulation. Todo removes himself from your pussy (not before licking up as much slick as possible), and smiles up at you.
“You’re so wonderful, (Nickname)-Chan! I should’ve done this sooner!”

⇴ male reader [22, chubby, 194cm] ⇴ all characters are depicted as [18]+
↳ summary: [Your.name] is a chubby and tall man, someone who definitely didn’t fit Japan’s beauty standards. Safe to say, he wasn’t the most confident. However, during one group date, it finally all changes when he meets someone who is certainly very interested in him.
↣ rating: general audiences ↣ warnings: modern AU; self-deprecation; chubby, tall reader; reader’s “friends” being assholes to chubby reader; hawks and reader have a happy end tho; hawks is a simp for reader from the first minute on, ok?
part 2.
。☆✼★━━━━━━━━━━━━★✼☆。
“Come with us, they said. It will be fun, they said.”, you mumbled to yourself as you stood there. Awkward. Alone. Ignored. Too afraid the tiny bar stools would collapse underneath your big ass, hence why you chose to rather stand than sit.
Why did you let yourself get dragged into this group date? You wanted to say no in the beginning, but with your friends pestering you, you kind of agreed in the end. Though now, you knew all too well why you didn’t want to come.
As a chubby and very tall man, you weren’t the type that people, or rather, gay men, drooled over. At least you hadn’t had anyone show interest in you like that. Maybe it was because you were rather shy and thus not as loud as many of your fellow male friends, or you were the “wrong chubby”. Whatever it was, you were not attractive. Society made sure to tell you that at least once a day and sometimes those nice and kind people, not, were even going out of their way to tell you what a nuisance your were with your tall, fat ass taking up space. And in Japan, where everything was not really built to accommodate people like you, it was sometimes very hard to fit into things.
While you were sighing to yourself for the nth time and making sure to put yourself down as much as you could, you certainly didn’t realize how someone was always glancing at you. Hawks was one of the four gay men you and your friends had met today for said group date. Ever since he saw you, he had the urge to talk to you and get to know you. You were so tall and handsome and t h i c k. You could probably swing him around and break him like a toothpick. Just thinking about it made him grin.
However, it almost seemed like you had a shield around you he just couldn’t break through. He could guess why. Not only once had he seen people bullying the ones that didn’t fit the norm. Too fat, too skinny, too small, too tall – there was no end. People always found reasons to put others down. With how you stood there all alone, trying to make yourself as small as possible, Kei understood you tried to hide and you were uncomfortable. Even though you literally had nothing to hide. God, he wished he had met you sooner.
“Oiii Ta-ka-mi-san!”, his thoughts were rudely interrupted.
“What are you staring at Takami-san?”, then one of your friends, who was obviously interested in him, looked in the direction as well.
“Ah. [Your.name], huh? He’s like a car accident, right? You don’t wanna look but you also can’t really look away.”, your ‘friend’ laughed and Kei could have not been more disgusted by that behavior.
“God I wish I could just punch you, you fucking idiot!”, Keigo thought, furious and having to gulp down the anger.
Thus, he just smiled a little before he silently stood up to walk over to you, ignoring the calling of your ‘friend’. Instead, he got all nervous all of a sudden. Normally, he was the one being confessed to, not the one confessing or even initiating a conversation. Takami was used to people fawning over him, he was a rather successful model after all, hence why it was so hard to find someone who wasn’t just interested in him sexually or because of his money. And it did not help one bit that he found you so unbelievably attractive as well, his nervousness was at its peak.
“Hey. You’re… [Your.name], right?”, he tried to sound very casual as he leaned against the bar beside you. AND MY GOD, he was so tiny compared to you. He loved it. The way he had to look up so much.
You were rather surprised to get attention, especially from someone like Hawks. Like, he was so out of your league it was ridiculous to even think he would even BREATH besides you – yet there he was. Talking to you-
Oh. You knew what he wanted.
“Okay, look, let’s just skip all that polite small talk, the little laughs so we don’t feel awkward before you drop the question. Just tell me, which number do you want? Or should I just give you all three?”, you immediately cut to the chase. It had never been any different, so why would it be today? Especially when someone so sexy and pretty talked to you? Obviously he wanted someone from your much more handsome and well-trained friends.
Hawks was, however, rather surprised that THIS was your initial reaction to him talking to you. Though he could have not known how hard it would truly be to get to know you or get your number.
“Uhm… To be honest, your number alone would be quite sufficient.”, Keigo played it smooth. A handsome smile on his lips covered up his own nervousness – was he about to get rejected?
For a few seconds you stared at him, completely flabbergasted. Then you turned around and looked around… and looked around… and looked around some more until he finally asked, “Everything okay? You looking for an escape route?”
Keigo chuckled at the end, though he was not as calm as he pretended to be.
“No, I just…”, you then turned to him again, your brows furrowed, “… You can stop now, you know? Like, are you trying to prank me or…? Cameras anywhere? Like haha we got the fat guy. Look at him getting all flustered finally getting attention. Hahaha funny.”
At the end, you almost sounded a little angry, before you grabbed your drink and walked away from the bar. Saying Hawks was confused was an understatement. He just watched you for a moment as you walked away and squeezed into a lonely corner. God… How many people must have put you down for you to think he was pranking you?
“This is going to be more difficult than I thought.”
Running his hand through his hair, Kei had to calm down for a moment and reevaluate. Did you reject him because you genuinely weren’t interest or because you were self-conscious? Probably the latter. So… should he try again? Fuck yeah. As if he was going to give up so easily. He just needed you to know he really wasn’t pranking you, the rest… was up to Future-Keigo.
Clearing his throat and taking his drink, he then walked over to your corner. Standing in front of you he was so s m o l. It would probably feel great hugging you.
“Okay that was rough. Listen, I really don’t wanna prank you or anything. Just… get to know you… ya know?”, this time he genuinely smiled a little, hoping you wouldn’t just reject him again.
Raising one brow, you were still rather suspicious. AS IF someone like Keigo would want to get to know you. Something was not right, you could feel it in every fiber of your big, chubby body. Then again.. maybe the only thing that you felt was the insecurities that held you back from getting to know someone who might genuinely be interested in you.
So, you gave yourself a little push.
“Yeah… I guess… I’m not really used to…. You know, how about we just start over?”
Keigo thought he had finally cracked you, giving himself a mental high five for being persistent. Thus, with a small smile he nodded and reached out his hand.
“Sure, nice to meet you, I’m Takami Keigo.”
“I’m [Your.name], nice to meet you.”, you finally smiled a little as well. Oof, his heart just jumped. Why was he so smitten already? He literally just met you. Keigo definitely wanted to get to know you more.
“So, how about we go take a seat over there? I could do with another drink.”, he said while pointing in the direction of a free table.
For a moment, you hesitated, though after a few seconds, you nodded, “Yeah, sounds nice.”
-
Without realizing it, hours went by as you and Hawks sometimes were the loudest ones laughing. Your friends just glancing over every so often, obviously jealous you had gotten the most handsome men of all of them today. But for the first time, you didn’t care what other’s thought as you and Kei just had … a connection.
Hence why, when he glanced down to his watch and sighed, you felt a little sad.
“I wish this night wouldn’t end. But I have a model job tomorrow and I only was a backup for someone so I didn’t even intend to have so much fun today. Time sure flies with you, [Your.name].”, he gave you one of his best smiles that made your throat dry and your knees weak.
“I… really enjoyed myself, too. Thank you. And sorry for acting like that in the beginning.”, you smiled apologetically and a little flustered. He found it very endearing.
“That’s fine, don’t worry about it. Well…”, he then looked at his phone and stood up, “It’s 2 a.m. definitely missed the last train. I’m gonna make a quick call for a taxi.”
“Hm.”, you nodded and watched for a second as he went outside where it was a little quieter to call.
Looking between Hawks and your friends who were still partying with Keigo’s friend group, you wondered if you should bring him home. You were the driver, but… how often had your friends disappeared with someone without telling you? How often did you leave a party all by yourself? It was time to be a little selfish today.
So, you hastily stood up and walked outside the bar, watching as Keigo typed on his phone, ready to call.
“Uhm, Takami-san?”, you interrupted him.
“Hm?”, he was a little surprised.
“If you want.. I can drive you home. I brought my own car since I was planning on leaving earlier too and I only drank one cocktail right in the beginning and the rest was alcohol free stuff so… if you want?”, your voice became a little smaller by the end, not knowing if you were too eager. Was this okay?
“Really? That’s not a problem?”
“No! Not at all.”, you reassured him.
“That’s great! I only live like 20 minutes away if we take the car. Ahhh, you’re a life saver, [Your.name]! Thank you.”, Keigo beamed.
And so, you hopped into your car, the only place big enough for you, at least that’s what it felt like since you invested in a nice big one. Keigo was quite cute how he sat there in the big seat, being so small.
The drive to Hawks’ home was also filled with chatter and laughter, once again reassuring you both that you definitely had some sort of connection. And since he had been attracted to you before, it only gave him more reasons that he wanted to meet you again. Man… this could be the first time a group date turned out successfully – for the both of you!
When you parked in front of his apartment complex, Takami didn’t even want to go yet. Wishing that time would just stop, he sat there for a few seconds before turning to you.
“Thank you, [Your.name].”
“No problem, really!”
“You know, if it wasn’t that late I would have invited you to a coffee or another drink or something but alas…”
“It’s quite late…”, you almost said a little… saddened?
“Hm… It is… I’ll call you!” Hawks then said with a little bit of a grin, since you had exchanged phone numbers before.
“O-Okay.”, you didn’t know why you stuttered, it was just… really new.
“Oh, but you can call me too, yeah? Don’t be shy. Well, anyways.”, he jumped out of the car, turned one last time to grin at you, his golden eyes sparkling a little, making you even more flustered.
“Have a safe drive home and have a good night, [Your.name]!”
“Ah, you too, Takami-san!”
Then, you just watched as he walked up to his apartment complex. You didn’t know what suddenly got into you when you opened the door and jumped out, calling for him.
“Takami-san?!”, it was literally two in the morning, his poor neighbors.
Though Hawks immediately turned his head.
“I… really, really enjoyed myself today. Just… thank you.”
Oh my God, you were so cute. Such a gentle giant teddy bear, that’s what you were. Without thinking about it, Keigo rushed back, catching you a little off guard when he walked around the car.
“You know, I might be a little drunk, but fucking God – I want to kiss you SO. BAD. right now.”, Kei said without hold back. His golden eyes gleaming in the dark and his cheeks flushed, you didn’t know if it was because of the alcohol or if he was blushing.
You, on the other hand, were very flustered, yet you barely whispered, “Maybe you should…”
Which only made Hawks giggle and raise his arms. An almost… seductive grin on his lips.
“Then you should help me out a little here, Handsome!”
Was he a bit drunk? Possibly. Was he overly flirtatious because he truly liked your personality and found you attractive and DEFINITELY wanted to meet you again?... Probably. But someone as straight-forward as Hawks was exactly who you needed because of your tendencies to overthink everything. Especially when it came to your weight and thus attractiveness. (Even though the one didn’t have anything to do with the other though not when it came to society.)
And so, you accommodated him by leaning down. Takami himself standing on his tiptoes, thus, after he had hoped all night long, his lips finally met yours. His small arms wrapped around your big, broad shoulders and your big hand was placed on his lower back. That’s what he had wanted. And it really happened. To say Keigo was quite euphoric was an understatement. He was ecstatic, overjoyed, jubilant and so much more – and that from a little kiss. He surely fell quick and hard. Something he had never experienced before.
After a few moments of pure delight, you were the first to pull back, just to watch Kei bite his lip in such a sexy way it took all of your control to not grab him and pin him onto your car’s hood.
“Thank you.”, he just whispered, still with that grin on his lips, “I really enjoyed myself, too.”
Then, he let go and you did as well, this time really just watching when he turned around and walked into the apartment complex with one last wave. So you got back into your car as well, the last minutes replaying in your head over and over again.
With your hand covering your face, you had to hide your stupid, big grin. If all of that was just a dream, you didn’t want to wake up. Someone found YOU attractive. You had deemed yourself the most unattractive, undatable guy and that only because society had always told you that. But he didn’t care. He liked your “undatable, unattractive” body just the way it was. And not only that, after a rough start, you got along so well. You loved his little laughs, his beautiful eyes and those soft lips-
“God I have never felt like that before, what the fuuuck??”, you mumbled to yourself, still in disbelief that night even happened.
But as you drove away, you heard a little noise that came from your phone and as you looked up, you quickly scanned the text before looking back onto the streets – a wide smirk spreading across your face.
The message read.
“txet me wehn yruoe home so i konw yuore hmoe safe!”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
[ This is nothing but me indulging my love for writing bad cliches. That is it. Its literally a fest of cliche k drama tropes]
Chapter 1
After the accident, my life had become something of a stagnant pond.
Everyday began much the same.
The alarm, mild but not jarring. Not very shrill but definitely insistent, sweeping away any lingering traces of sleep. I blinked awake, cobwebs of exhaustion still marring my vision but a few deep breaths, a few more blinks and I was awake .
And now came the harder part.
Getting my legs to work.
It never got better, despite the many years that I’d spent in physiotherapy. All it really did was stop it from getting worse. Or maybe I’d just gotten used to the pain at this point.
Deep breaths helped. Sometimes.
But not today.
“Mrs Jeon?” The familiar voice made me jump a little.
“Sana...” I said, relieved. “ Could you come over? Seems like I’m going to need some help today.” I laughed nervously, gripping the sheets harder.” Could you help me sit up?”
The girl moved closer, feet nimble and quick and sure and i felt my throat clench in envy. I swallowed it down though, just the way I swallowed every bad thing that came my way.
It had been eight years ago.
A fall from a fifty feet ravine. Cuts and scrapes all over my body, abrasions all over my torso. And legs that had absolutely shattered on impact. Multiple fractures. Motor Nerve Damage on my left leg.
The skin stitched together. The bones grew back.
But the nerve damage stayed.
I wasn’t completely helpless. I could walk with the brace. Slowly and with a mildly awkward gait but I could walk. Even better if I was using crutches.
But it wasn’t something I could hide.
People looked at me and that was the first thing that they noticed.
The girl who couldn’t walk.
I sat still, gripping the edge of the bed as Sana carefully grabbed the brace and helped me put it on. I watched as she carefully set the loops in place, fixed the velcro and finally helped set my toes in place.
“Thank you.” i whispered and she nodded.
“Mr. Jeon left early. He said that he won’t be home tonight.”
I smiled a little.
“I’m sorry. I know you don’t want to be caught between us. It must make you feel uncomfortable.” I said .
She looked surprised but quickly ducked her head
“No, Mrs. Jeon.”
I sighed.
“You may leave. I’ll come down soon.” I said quietly.
How handsome he looked, in that beautiful dark suit. How strong and handsome and ...whole.
Right next to a framed article about us from a magazine.
Jungkook ran marathons and trained as a boxer. He worked as the managing director at a steel manufacturing unit . Spent his days overseeing workers in the smelting units, and everyone knew that it wasn’t uncommon to see the Jeon heir, shirtless and sweaty and covered in dirt and getting down and dirty with all the other workers as the ore got delivered.
Someone like that... Someone that perfect.... Deserved a woman who would be an equal. Beautiful and graceful and perfect. And he had had her. My sister. For three years, I’d watched my sister and Jungkook be the perfect couple . Deeply in love and so happy.
I watched her leave, gently closing the door behind her, before shifting my gaze to the large portrait on the opposite side of the wall. It was a picture of my husband and I taken on the day we got betrothed.
What they hadn’t counted on was how greedy our parents could be.
Jungkook was the younger son. And his father had long written him off as unreliable. He was wild and headstrong. Had his own ideals and morals. Wouldn’t really bend to his father’s will. So his brother was the one who would be set to inherit the company.
And my father , with his billion dollar empire wasn’t going to give away his precious daughter and all of her inheritance to a paltry second son.
Jungkook’s brother had married my sister. And Jungkook had been forced to marry me. A comedy of errors , except it wasn’t really funny and no one was laughing.
I swallowed. That was seven months ago. The first few weeks had gone in stony silence and hushed whispers. I knew he was talking to my sister. Knew she was sobbing in despair on the other end. My sister and I had never gotten along. And now, she had a genuine reason to despise me.
Three months into marriage he had a small accident at the Manufacturing Unit.A small fall, not that far. Ten feet or so, but he’d crashed into a steel structure on his way down. He had a dislocated shoulder and some flesh wounds. Not that bad.
But my entire body had gone ice cold at the news, when i first heard it.
It was a brutal sort of realization.
That perhaps I wasn’t as indifferent to him as he was to me. Six weeks, with him had changed things. He didn’t talk much, other than the bare minimum but I didn’t hold it against him. I helped him anyway I could. Typed out emails for him. Helped him eat and change.
Hands brushing and time spent together meant tension. And a shift in the way he looked at me, sometimes. I noticed, wasn’t sure if I could act on it. But he was still my husband. And I didn’t really want to spend the rest of my life celibate.
So, even though it was so unlike me... I’d made the first move. Linked my fingers with his. Brushed my lips across his. A gesture that meant a hundred things. A touch that invited more. And he must’ve wanted it, at least physically. Because he indulged me. Gave me a glimpse of heaven on his bed.
And yet, six weeks of being as close as two humans could be didn’t change much.
We were strangers who slept together. Who appeared in public together. Who did everything our family expected of us. And I wasn’t sure how to bridge that awkward gap between us. Jungkook was a fiercely physical person. His free time was spent in the gym , or cycling or hiking.
I couldn’t walk across the room without having to grip the walls for support every few minutes.
Could anyone blame him for being bitter? For being distant? For not knowing what to do with me?
And in all this time , I’d only learnt a handful of things about my husband. How he felt on top of me. How he sounded when he came, how he looked eyebrows furrowed as he talked into his phone and of course, how little he cared about me.
Yes, we would have sex. Yes, he bought me a couple of gifts when he was overseas. But otherwise his heart belonged to my sister. It wasn’t something he hid.
As the days passed, I realized that it was time to keep myself safe. That I couldn’t show him all of me anymore. He was careful with me, guarded and secretive because he was smart. He didn’t want me to know anything about him.
There was a reason. There had to be.
So the best thing to do would be to do the same. Build that distance between us. This was going to crash and burn someday and I had to
And the past few weeks, he’d been busy with more deals. Some kind of MoU with some supplier had gone south and they were looking for different suppliers. Jungkook was busy. I hadn’t seen him in ten days.
And now apparently he had come home and left without so much as seeing me.
Sighing, I moved to the garden, walking slowly to the marble bench set under the large sweetgum tree. I settled down , sighing. I ran a palm over my belly, soft and hesitant.
I was two and half months along. It didn’t show...thanks to the oversized clothes I wore. But it wasn’t the kind of thing you could hide forever. I wasn’t sure why I started hiding it in the first place. It was just that.... I knew that no one would be happy for me. My family would be ecstatic but for the wrong reasons.
I could already imagine .
Finally. Now he can’t leave you.
I felt sick to my stomach at the thought of it. At the thought of someone talking about my baby like some sort of handcuff to lock Jungkook in.
I would have to tell him. Of course. But I didn’t know when or how . I didn’t want to hide it from him. There was no point. But ... I wasn’t quite sure i wanted to see that look of helpless disappointment in his face.
The sound of his car drew me out of my reverie and I startled, glancing over at the wide driveway. I glanced at the time . It was a little past eleven in the morning. What was he doing here?
“Leah! Get inside!” Jungkook’s voice rang out and I jumped.
“Jungkook?” I stared as he all but jumped out of the car rushing to me.
“Come on.. get up.”
“What’s going on..?” I asked, heart pounding as he gripped my elbow, drawing me into his arms.
“Dad fucked up. Got mixed with some shady bastards and apparently, they’ve put a hit out on me and hyung.”
My heart dropped.
“What?!!” I choked out, stunned. “ Jungkook...” My fingers curled over his chest, clutching the
“Don’t worry... we know who it is and we have guys of our own. They’ll take care of it. No one comes for a Jeon and lives to tell the tale. I just wanted to make sure you stayed in. Don’t go anywhere. there are guards all over the place. but i want you to stay home. Okay? Just till this blows over?”
I flinched, legs aching fierce as he led me up the stairs and he stared at me, eyes dripping with worry. The look was so foreign....so unlike the indifference I was used to that I could only stare.
“Are you alright?” He asked urgently and I nodded quickly, hands curving over my stomach instinctively.
“You’ll stay here right? With me...?” I asked softly and Jungkook hesitated.
“I... I need to go check on Lisa.” He said stiltedly and I froze at my sister’s name.
“She’s with her husband, right?” I asked sharply, anger building out of pure fear. “ Why do you-”
“Don’t question me. Go in. Now.” He said quickly and I frowned.
“You don’t have to go there. She has a husband of her own.” I said quietly, voice shaking.
“I have to. I... I have to just go make sure she’s alright.” He snapped angrily and I curled my fingers into fists.
Apparently, even when there was a very real threat to our lives, he would rather risk my life and his than let go of his obsession for my sister. i wanted to vomit. My skin felt clammy and my heart raced. I imagined him doing this when we had a kid....risking our child because he can’t stop thinking of her.... And he would do it..... Of course he would.
“Then go.” i snapped, tears filling my eyes . I yanked my arm out of his, stumbling a bit.
Jungkook looked shocked.
“Leah...” He reached for me but I pulled back and away.
“Go to her and don’t you dare come back here.” I screamed. Jungkook stiffened.
“Leah... enough.”
“You’re right. I’ve had enough . Of your dirty pining. Of you. She’s married for god’s sake. To your brother. They’re together. Its over and done with. Why can’t you just accept it and move on?!!” I choked out. My chest hurt.
“You knew I loved her when you married me.” He snapped back and I laughed in disbelief.
“Yes. And you knew I’d break someday. That I’d someday have enough of you treating me like I was disposable. Isn’t that why you kept at it for so long? You wanted me to be the one break things off right? So you could get out of your father’s anger...unscathed. Well, guess what. You got your wish.... I’m done!! “
He didn’t reply.
“Go inside. I have to go.” He said softly.
I watched as he turned on his heel and stalked back down the driveway.
Was it supposed to hurt this bad? My heart felt a bit like it was cleaving in two. Had I really just told him I had enough? What did that mean? Was I going to leave him? I felt my head spin , worry and fear laced with disbelief.
Someone was out to kill him? How could he be so flippant about it?
I shook my head. The Jeon’s were a weird bunch. Although they were one of the richest families in our society, they lacked any of the charming social graces that came with it. For years, everyone had kept them at arm’s length because while all other families had aristocratic roots and beginnings, the Jeon’s came from a background of mining iron ore and making steel : a rugged and dirty business.
The only reason my father had agreed to
And was I really going to leave him? where did I even begin? I couldn’t leave. I had no home to go to. My parents would take one look at me and send me back to Jungkook. I felt like a prize fool. I was stuck here. For eternity. That was all there was to it.
A decade ago, I’d had a future. But that evening on that mountain trail had changed my life forever. I was , for all intents and purposes disabled. I couldn’t just walk out of here and build a life for myself. I wouldn’t last a day.
I dragged myself to the living space, stopping when i saw how deserted the place looked.
There were usually people bustling about. Especially so close to lunch.
“Sana!!!” I called out, only to be met with the echoing silence of my own voice. And then a few seconds later she appeared ,
“Mrs. Jeon.... Is Mr. Jeon here?”
“He just left... Is everything okay?”
“Yes, ma’am.”
“Where is everyone? Are all of you busy?” I asked nervously.
She bowed. “ Yes, ma’am.... The rest of us are cleaning out the pantry and Cook’s in the kitchen. Seul and Leejin are out in the backyard cleaning the statues near the koi pond. Mr. Jeon’s asked all the footmen and guards to stay around the perimeter. Will you need anything else?
“No... I’ll just rest till lunch.” I said gently, waving her off.
She left.
The eerie silence that followed told me there was nothing to do but embrace the loneliness and I hesitated, moving slowly to the window and peering out. I couldn’t see any of the guards either.
My fingers shook a little as I moved slowly to the entryway that led into the dining space. It was dark in here, the light from outside only illuminating the west wall which had large windows set in. I moved to the windows and stared out into the Jeon estate.
Although Jungkook was the younger brother, he had been taxed with maintaining and caring for the family estate. Not because his father trusted him but because the old man knew just how much Jungkook hated the place.
I played with my wedding ring as i remembered the countless times I’d watched the two of them fight, Jungkook coldly still while his father hurled abuses at him. Jeon Jaesook considered his son to be incompetent and disobedient, which made little to no sense to me.
As far as i knew Jungkook had helped increase production and had cut down operating costs significantly over the seven years that he’d been working as the managing Director at Jeon Steelworks.
But it was obvious the old man favored Jihyun, Jungkook’s older brother. Jihyun worked in the air conditioned offices located in Gangnam, the CEO taking care of all their sales and marketing while Jungkook , who had an actual degree in Business spent his days slaving away at the smelting Units, a job that was physically and mentally exhausting.
And while it always made my stomach twist, this unfair treatment he got subjected to, there wasn’t much i could do. My father had made it clear that he wouldn’t agree to the investment, unless both his daughters married the Jeon brothers. And Jungkook’s father had made it clear that if Jungkook didn’t agree , he would be out on the streets without a penny to his name.
My leg began aching and I turned back around ready to go settle into my workroom where I usually worked on my writing when I heard his footsteps. I glanced up, frowning.
Jungkook stood in the doorway staring at me with an unreadable expression on his face.
I stared at him for a few seconds, waiting for him to say something.
When he didn’t, I sighed.
“Did you think I was going to leave?” I asked bitterly.
He sighed.
“I’m not going to cheat on you. “
I nodded.
“I suppose you want me to thank you for that?” I shook my head. “ You don’t have to keep your worthless vows. Go sleep with her. Why would it make a difference to me?”
He exhaled sharply.
“I thought you understood.” He said sharply.
“I did. I do.” I said curtly “ I understand that my parents screwed the two of you over. I understand that you had to do something you absolutely did not want to. But there’s something you need to understand too. Just because I’ve accepted this, it doesn’t mean I enjoy it. It doesn’t mean I have to be happy about my husband being in love with another woman, much less my own sister.”
Jungkook nodded.
“Right. Got it. “ He said curtly and I flinched when another muscle twitch told me I’d been standing for too long.
“I’m going to go lay down.”
“Do you need me to get you a heating pad? For the leg? Or send one of the girls to massage your legs?” He asked softly, stepping closer and lightly gripping my elbow when my knees buckled.
I didn’t have much choice than to grip his forearm, because the pain was intensifying from pins and needles to proper muscle spasms. Sweat began to bead on my upper lip and i felt just a little faint.
“Yes. “ I said , feeling pathetic. I should have used the crutches. It had been a bad day even when I woke up. I should have sensed it and taken the proper measures.
“Leah... Should I run a warm bath for you? “ Jungkook's lips brushed my ear when he leaned to hold my weight up and i stiffened.
“That won’t be necessary. I just need help back up to the bed, thank you.” I said shortly. He looked uncertain and shook his head.
“ okay, but I’ll get Sana to run you a warm bath and make you some willowbark Tea.” He said quietly, and when I stumbled a bit on the first step he swore.
“This isn’t going to work.... Come here.” He said gruffly and before I could protest he bent low, gripping the back of my knees and pulling me up into his arms.
i swallowed, head spinning as I cradled the curve of my lower belly.
Tell him... Tell him... Tell him...
I felt my head throb as I kept my arms wrapped tight around his shoulders.
“I’m pregnant .” i blurted out.
Jungkook stumbled , nearly sending the both of us tumbling down the flight of stairs and i clung to him in terror. Okay, maybe the timing could have been better.
“What?” He looked ashen. Like he’d seen an actual ghost.
“Just thought you should know.” I muttered under my breath.
We reached the landing and he didn’t say anything, looking away from me, his jaw taut and lips set in a thin line. I felt my throat go sandpaper dry. He waited till we were safely in the confines of our bedroom, placing me down on the bed gently and moving to close the door and lock it.
I stared up at the ceiling, refusing to look at his face.
“ Leah-”
“Its fine. You don’t have to say anything. I didn’t know till a week ago myself.”
Silence.
“Have you told your parents?”
I exhaled sharply.
“No.”
“Mine?”
“No...”
“Then would you consider.... “ He trailed off and i finally stared at him.
“No.” I said softly.
He sighed.
“Alright. Should I book an appointment with Dr. Lee?”
I laughed.
“How very practical of you..” i said.
“What else do you expect from me..”
“Not even an ounce of support, that’s for sure.” I snapped and he growled.
“You want me to lie? Fine.. I’m happy!! So fucking happy that we’re bringing an innocent kid into our fucked up family. ” He shouted.
This was why I didn’t want to tell him, I thought bitterly.
“You’re the only one who’s fucked up, Jungkook. I’m perfectly fine with myself and my choices. I can give my baby all the stability they might ever need.”
“ That’s not hat I'm talking about. do you know what its like to grow up with parents who can’t stand each other?” Jungkook shouted.
I gaped at him. Can’t stand each other? Is that how he saw us?
“As long as you don’t walk out on us, we’ll be fine.” I muttered despondently.
“ Don’t worry about that. I’m not going to run away from my responsibilities. ” He said quietly.
I finally turned to look at him, placing both my hands on my stomach.
“Do you want me to leave you?” I asked honestly.” Have you ever thought about it?”
He didn’t say anything.
“So you have.” I smiled sadly. It wasn’t surprising but it did hurt.
“Of course I have. You’re Lisa’s sister and Lisa is my... “ He paused, shaking his head, “ But, I know you can’t. I don’t expect you to either.” He said gruffly, grabbing the intercom.
I watched as he called the housekeeper, firing off instruction for Sana and then to the cook to send some tea for me. He hung up and turned to me again.
“Lisa and I are going to go to Japan for a week. She has a conference there and I’m going to scout for locations just in case we open up a distribution office there.”
I turned away.
“ You don’t have to tell me all that. You didn’t before, i don’t want you to start now.” I said firmly.
He didn’t reply and i turned back to stare at the ceiling.
Jungkook hovered for a few seconds before moving closer to the bed and grabbing the comforter and a couple of pillows. I felt a lump in my throat as he carefully picked my leg up, placing the pillows underneath. i was almost numb from the thigh down.
i closed my eyes as he carefully pulled the comforter over my waist, folding it over my chest.
“Rest well.” He said quietly before walking away. i heard the door opening and then closing.
i waited till I heard his footsteps fades away before opening my eyes and staring at the ceiling.
I should probably put some paintings up there, I thought.
BnHA 326: What’s up Kids, It’s Me, Your Old Pal Stain
Previously on BnHA: Ochako shamed the U.A. Clown Mob into letting Deku go back inside his own fucking school by giving them an hour-long speech about how not to be humongous dickheads. Kouta and Gigantic Fox Lady saved the manga by being the only ones brave enough to give Deku a hug. Shouto was all “man, all this togetherness sure does remind me of that promise you made that we would handle Touya together which you immediately bailed on, doesn’t it, Dad.” Aizawa was all, “for the one and a half people out there who thought that my losing an eye and a leg might actually make me less sexy, I’m very happy to prove you wrong.” All Might was all, “[standing outside the U.A. fortress alone in the rain talking to someone or something??].” Like seriously, what was up with that though.
Today on BnHA: All Might is all “here I am in Kamino having a belated mid-life crisis because Deku abandoned me and I’m a terrible mentor and everything sucks and I hate myself.” Stain is all, “don’t make me come over there and give you a ten page speech about why you’re still the goat while menacingly holding you at swordpoint the entire time” because idk if you knew this guys, but Stain is pretty crazy actually. Anyway so he does that, and then All Might gets all emotional, and then the lady from chapter 92 shows up and gives All Might’s statue an encouraging pep talk, and then Horikoshi is all “and it even stopped raining lol can you believe this shit I’m not even a little bit subtle,” and he really isn’t. But I still got emotional anyway, because seeing people reassure All Might that everything he’s struggled for his entire life hasn’t been in vain just got to me okay. Horikoshi knows I am weak to the All Might feels and he just goes for the jugular every time, that bastard.
lmao. “in the neverending downpour, All Might is...” yeah, thank you, glad we’re getting right to that then
“All Might is driving 95 mph in his busted ass car in the pouring rain, is what he’s doing.” huh
so basically a day or two after his adopted child refused to accept the handmade bento that he packed with love, my man is out here acting like he’s got nothing to live for anymore. this sure bodes well for certain prophecies on which the clock is still ominously ticking down
his fucking face though omg. is it weird that I’m kind of hoping more people ambush him just because I think it’d be funny to see them get their asses kicked like the last bunch
(ETA: or maybe he will just stand there openly not giving a fuck and basically daring them to stab him!! get it together please All Might.)
side note, “anti-hero supporters” is such a strange way of saying “people who hate heroes”, which I’m assuming is what they actually wanted to say?? this makes it sound like it’s a group that really loves antiheroes. “these Hannibal stans have been a real menace lately. time to go deal with them”
ha ha ha, fucking ouch
are you really gonna do it Horikoshi you bastard. are you really going to let that be the final encounter between the two characters whose relationship you once described as the vertical axis of the entire fucking story. are you really gonna?? huh??
huh
you’re telling me you were driving 112 mph and you still didn’t get there in time. you’re losing your touch old man. lol Todo’s ice is almost fully melted already, how late were you
(ETA: so apparently this is taking place after the end of chapter 325, meaning he went to U.A., hung out for a bit, saw the kids come back with his bedraggled half-dead protégé in tow, watched as they shamed the civilians into some long-overdue character development, and then was all “welp, time to go argue with the hero-hating faction or something because I’m feeling useless.” and Edge just let him go, just like that. though to be fair I have to imagine it’s pretty hard to say no to All Fucking Might.)
also belated lol at the fact that the kids were all “yeahhhhhhh we are definitely not gonna touch that thing, let’s just leave it here, he doesn’t need it anyway.” probably the right call to make since they couldn’t get a hazmat team on such short notice
fuck. ha ha ha fucking ouch part two
All Might please put that thing down before you get gangrene. also yeah, you dropped the ball, good for you to acknowledge it. nobody’s perfect and you did your best. but yeah you could have handled a lot of things completely differently. but I still love you
is Horikoshi really putting this flashback here. are you serious. what kind of fucking sadist
look, I swear I’m not one of those people that runs up and down the street shouting “DEATH FLAG!!” at every third panel lol. but this shit screamed Death Flag when we originally got it, and it’s screaming DEATH FLAG!!! even more now. like with the capital letters and exclamation marks and all. and that’s just a fact. I don’t like it but that’s how it is
ffkdjslk
“DID YOU READ THE SIGN??!” Horikoshi asks while zooming in maniacally because he thinks we’re blind or something. lol what
-- though actually, it only just occurred to me that this sign is actually written in English. I never really paid attention up until now and had been assuming it was written in Japanese and translated by the scanlators, but the writing here is clearly part of the original image. anyway so maybe that’s why he’s zooming in?? just to make sure everybody pays attention lol
okay fuck this
see, this is the whole problem right here. once again All Might is all on his own. Deku’s self-destructive angst spiral was fortunately brought to a grinding halt because he actually has support from his friends and family and teachers and classmates. but All Might never had that same kind of support, and it’s made all the difference between the two of them, and not in a good way. Katsuki wasn’t wrong when he said All Might and Deku were both cut from the same cloth. but now when it’s All Might’s turn to go all “I WALK A LONELY ROAD~~” once again, there’s nobody in sight
just, after forty plus years of him carrying this torch, I just wish someone would finally come along to let him know he doesn’t have to. all those things that he wanted to say to Deku are also things that he needs and deserves to hear himself. Aizawa was making a little progress there, but now he’s got his sad zombie cloud boyfriend situation to deal with, and we can’t expect him and his perfect hair to solve all our problems. someone else has gotta step up
oh my god
“you rang?” never mind I take it all back sob
omg why am I laughing. shit
this man truly has the best PR game in the series. we were truly convinced he was gonna suddenly become a good guy and defend All Might against the other villains or some nonsense. as if this wasn’t the same man who decided on a whim that Iida Tensei deserved to be paralyzed, and that his fifteen-year-old brother deserved to die for daring to be upset about it
lol even All Might is all “I genuinely never saw this coming” lmao
just want to say, for the record, I have always harbored a very sensible hatred toward Stain. feeling very vindicated right now. good job Past Me
adsfklwkfsdwgkj
ffffwefjslkg. ghsdlkg. dsfkkkslkjldwkjrg
STAIN: heard you talking shit old man
ME: smh that’s what I thought you’d say you dumb fucking Stain
STAIN: how dare you talk about All Might that way
ME: gljfljgk
(ETA: in hindsight I have no idea how I didn’t clue in sooner that he didn’t recognize him -- or, well, ~didn’t recognize~ him, to be more accurate lol. I think it was the whole “is that a slight against the heroes?” thing that threw me. Viz’s translation makes it much clearer that he’s offended on behalf of All Might specifically, not heroes in general. anyways.)
sob. so All Might is all “yeah I don’t blame you for not recognizing me in this sweet leather jacket”
good thing he still knows how to do this party trick
A+ reflexes on Stain’s part presumably pulling the sword back a few inches to keep this dumbass from impaling himself with his whole pufferfish routine. can you imagine if that was the gruesome death Nighteye foresaw. and he was just too embarrassed to say anything
lol anyways guess I was wrong about Stain everyone
way to fucking go, Past Me. you really biffed this one
oh wait
Stain sure is one wacky rollercoaster ride
oh fuck me lol I forgot how much I did not miss this
(ETA: “this here is the sacred ground where All Might gave up the last of his power and turned into a shriveled old man!! please ignore the part where I admit to knowing all about that, and yet pretend not to recognize said man when he’s standing two feet in front of me.”)
Past Me, I know we’ve had our ups and downs these past ninety seconds, but I’m really starting to think you were on to something. this dude has always been kind of insufferable. always acting like his high horse is a fucking giraffe when it’s actually a Shetland pony
dammit now he’s got All Might going off on a depressed monologue
oh my god my heart
shit
why the fuck does that hit so hard. he became a hero because he couldn’t bear to just sit back and let bad things happen to people who didn’t deserve it. I mean that’s basically the same as every hero ever, right? so why does it still hit so fucking hard every single time though. what is it about seeing someone so determined to stand up for other people and fight on their behalf. it just never loses its impact no matter how many times I see that determination mirrored in so many of my favorite characters
“I wanted to make the world a better place.” omg. but you did, though. like seriously, I feel like people are always dogging on him for not being 100% perfect, and fandom really doesn’t give him enough credit for everything he still managed to accomplish. this man came of age at a time when Japan was by all accounts a total shitshow, and singlehandedly managed to bring about an era of peace that lasted for four fucking decades. can you imagine having peace for that long?? that’s longer than I’ve been alive. shit
and he gave people hope. he inspired them and protected them and made them feel safe. and no, he couldn’t save everyone, because he’s only one fucking dude (and also because the whole time AFO was also out there desperately working to undermine him so that he could keep preaching his narrative of “heroes are bad actually”). but you know what he did do, is inspire multiple new generations of heroes who, if they can all manage to work together, will finally be able to accomplish everything he never could
so yeah. forty years of peace, and inspired the “that’s how we all became the greatest heroes” generation -- that’s a fucking win in my book. talk about having a net positive impact on the world. lol anyways now I’m all fired up and ready to fight anyone who tries to talk any shit about you, All Might
“but what if I talk shit about myself” okay listen up All Might I’m gonna need you to try just a little bit harder to work with me here okay. please calm down and stop blaming yourself for every single bad thing that’s ever happened in the world. do you remember that time Bakugou was blaming himself for Kamino, and you gave him a hug and told him it wasn’t his fault, and that he was only a boy, and that even though he was strong, even strong people can struggle with the burdens they place on themselves, and that you were sorry for not seeing that earlier? do you remember all of that? that’s what I want someone to tell you too, dammit. anyway please stop breaking my heart please and thanks
wtf
are you dead All Might
um
I don’t even have the slightest idea what’s happening lol
oh snap did he grab him so they could hide??
hold the fucking phone. don’t tell me this person in the background with the umbrella is here to actually do something decent??
oh my godddd
and here come the feels. oh boy. okay don’t mind me, I’m just gonna sit here sobbing over this fictional lady and her simple act of kindness in this weekly shounen manga that I care about way too much
FUCKING DAMMIT AND HERE’S A SECOND HELPING
DON’T MIND ME, I’M JUST GETTING DISPROPORTIONATELY EMOTIONAL OVER THIS WOMAN’S DETERMINATION TO HONOR A MAN WHO SACRIFICED EVERYTHING TO SAVE HER AND COUNTLESS OTHERS. I’M JUST HAVING SOME FEELS OVER HERE ABOUT HER HEARTFELT, DOESN’T-EVEN-KNOW-ANYONE-ELSE-IS-WATCHING FEELINGS OF GRATITUDE THAT COMPELLED HER TO COME OUT HERE AND MAKE THIS SMALL BUT POWERFUL GESTURE. I’M JUST OUT HERE GETTING ALL PROFOUNDLY WORKED UP ABOUT STATUE MAINTENANCE AND THE HUMAN RACE. NEVER MIND. JUST IGNORE ME AND CARRY ON
holy shit. I was not even remotely prepared. you can’t just do that to me. you can’t just leave all these death flags on my lawn and then suddenly shift gears to show me the best of humanity in a chapter where I was expecting the worst. that fucks a person up lol
OH ARE WE STILL GOING
my heart. you see that, All Might. your legacy is so much more powerful and meaningful than you think
...has. has Stain actually been giving All Might a pep talk this entire time
I give up lol. this dude is a fucking enigma
YAYYY
it may just be a metaphor panel, but I’ll take it lol. I missed them. nice to see the traffic light trio front and off-center. I know the whole “this is the story of how we all became the greatest heroes” thing had left some questioning whether certain characters would continue to play a central role in the narrative, and hopefully this will help to ease those concerns just a bit
anyway, so idk if it’s getting a bit chilly down there in hell, but damned if Stain didn’t just give an actual decent fucking speech
I have to say, earlier when I was whining about All Might not having a support squad, I really was not expecting Stain to be the one to come over and pat his head and reassure him that he made the world a better place
-- okay LISTEN
YOU CAN’T JUST COME INTO MY HOUSE AND HIT ME WITH THOSE ALL MIGHT TEARS AGAIN GODDAMMIT THIS ISN’T FAIR. my god. first 317 and now this
holy fucking shit
“I’m just gonna pretend like I haven’t been stalking him for two days and didn’t see the entire Deku bentogate thing go down, and then I’ll give him the whole big speech that I rehearsed, and then I’ll turn around and be all ‘BUT IF YOU’RE A TRUE HERO’, and then I’ll toss him the super-secret AFO wifi password that I stole from Tartarus. god I’m such a badass. fucking give myself chills”
so basically what you’re telling me is that this whole time my “what’s up kids” characterization of Stain from this shitpost has actually been 100% accurate. just want to make sure I’m understanding this right. okay then
“and then I’ll dramatically spin around and be all NOW COME KILL ME BITCH”
it must be so much fun to write Stain. drawing this coked-out maniac who talks like a chatbot that was trained to speak by reading Alan Moore monologues. that must be a trip
anyway so All Might is still crying, the awesome lady from chapter 92 is admiring her handiwork totally oblivious to the batshit insanity going on fifty meters to her right, and it’s finally stopped raining lol
“THE RAIN WAS A METAPHOR YOU SEE” yes, yes, we got it lol. thanks for that Horikoshi. don’t think we needed any help putting the pieces together on that one but I appreciate the effort
so that’s the end! and as I mentioned in another post, I had the count off by one chapter, but next week should be cliffhanger week! so break out your U.A. Traitor bingo cards, friends and fiends. either that or something else happens that I’m completely not expecting at all. which, based on my success rate with Stain predictions, I’d say is more than likely lol
mmm but anyway, so now that the Hug Deku 2021 campaign has finally come to an end, what’s it gonna take to get a hug for my struggling bento-preparing jacket-rocking world-weary death-flag-waving husband who is the worthiest man to ever live and deserves the fucking world, goddammit
WARNING: graphic depictions of violence, blood, angst, open ended/ambiguous ending, descriptions of death.
request: “Can i request sukuna x male reader. Where reader keeps reincarnating with each lifetime for a curse and every time he remembers sukuna, he dies after gaining memories back. You can choose if theres a good ending or angst. Thank you king! I fell in love with him especially after reading that one shot i had to watch jjk and hes hot! Thank you for turning me into a sukuna simp! Much love”
a/n: i went,,,overboard with this request 🗿 BUT IT'S ONE OF MY FAVORITESSIJEHSHE i’m honored to have introduced you to such a foine man
When you were five, only then had you understood the curse deemed ‘Ryoumen Sukuna.’ A rather tall man with two heads, one of which had splattered blood onto your sneakers. You understood the concept of death, of course, but could never truly comprehend the feeling of nothingness after watching your life flash before your eyes until nineteen. But there you stood, clutching the loop of your shorts when you witnessed the murder of your entire village. You didn’t know evil could have a moral compass, but the tall curse seemed to exclude half of the women and children. After the widening of youthful eyes and curdling screams you learned the monster took likings to things too. Women, with shaking forms and broken spirits. He’d stop before them, stare at them with eyes that could- in fact- kill, if they truly wanted to. But then he stopped in front of you.
“Close your eyes, Brat.” Death's hands were just as large as your family painted them out to be, if not larger. Calloused and riddled with blood as they are placed over your ears. You do as he- it says, squeezing your eyes shut and enclosing your eyes behind the meat of your palms just to be extra careful. You can see stars behind your eyelids, just as you can feel the sickening twang of death lingering in the air. You were aware it would happen at some point, Death would find its place for you over and over and over again, you’d been told since the day you were born.
There’s another sound, only muted under large palms. You don’t need your sense of sight or hearing to know what it was, the warm chunks splattering onto your skin was enough. Immediately, you flinched. When you opened your eyes, there were piercing eyes staring straight into your own. It looked so human, but something was off. Uncanny, as if it took years to manipulate its flesh and bone to emulate humans to a T. But there was nothing human behind those eyes, instead a void of nothingness. Death itself. If Death could express interest, you’d have thought that was the expression it was imitating. It offers a hand, one of four. Larger than your face, with sharp claws that could almost be described as talons. Darkened by dirt and remains of your loved ones, if it truly wanted to kill you, it could. It could tear you limb from limb with the wave of a finger. And it knew that.
So you took the hand, and he became your second home.
When you were ten, you learned about the red string of fate. It could never be broken, and those connected by it would always reunite, no matter the circumstances. You often had nightmares, those of which filled with blurred faces and sharp pain that reached you in your lucid state. Dreams of talons, piercing eyes, and double headed monsters. You dreamt under the stars, tasted metal on your tongue, and choked on smoke that wasn’t actually there. You dreamt of facial markings, details that you couldn’t exactly place, a name that you couldn’t quite remember. It left your tongue feeling thick in your mouth, racked tremors through your body, and caused premature dark circles to accumulate under your eyes.
When you were nineteen, you experienced your last breath. The air was stolen from your lungs, crushed under years of heartbreak and terror, and snatched from you in the dead of night. Your eyes glazed over, and nothingness overtook you. It left you for someone else to find, cold and lifeless. A void, similar to the eyes you had finally placed. But that didn’t matter much then, you had already drifted away from your body.
And that was that.
Thus, the cycle repeated. Under different names, different ages, different genders. There was always something gnawing away at your conscience, you felt as though you were forgetting something. But when you finally remembered, it was too late. And there was nothing you could do about it.
It was almost like deja vu, stepping outside your home to find blood splattered on the concrete floor. It made your blood run cold, sent a tremor through your body and made you feel like you were five again. Small and defenseless. You take it as your best interest to go back inside before you pass out, but the second you whip your body around you meet something- someone?- large and sturdy.
“Sukuna.” That was it, the sour taste at the tip of your tongue, the lingering sensation at the back of your brain. Him. He didn’t look the same, no, much smaller with tufts of pink hair. There’s something behind his eyes this time, something almost irrevocably human. For some reason that’s much scarier than what you remember. What you think you remember. He’s much more human, but the way he looks at you is everything but humane. He looks frustrated, angry at something, as if he’ll implode any second and go on a rampage. Dread bubbles up in your stomach, nearly erupting through your mouth as bile. It felt as though something should be happening, like something usually happened when the itch went away. He chuckles, low in his throat as he cranes his neck to put his face uncomfortably close to your own. His hands, still large, find their way to your wrist, gripping your right hand uncomfortably tight. For a moment, you consider how long a trip to the hospital would be if he shattered the bone beneath his fingers. But instead there’s a jolt of electricity that would’ve had you yanking your hand back if he weren’t holding it.
“What? You look different.” He all but purrs, inspecting your palm with long nails. Not long enough to be talons, but longer than those of a claw. It was true, you did look different. He wondered if you spent your lifetimes looking exactly the same. That couldn’t have been possible, he would’ve found you much easier, then. Still quite boyish, as if the body you were in didn’t originally belong to you. Clearly grown out of cargo shorts and polos, much taller than you were before. There was no way he could have forgotten you, the way you jumped when the remains of your loved one splattered across your legs. The way you stared back at him with a look of acceptance, the way you grabbed his hand and allowed him to lead you out of the village. It explained the body memories perfectly, the feeling of large palms on your head and remnants of a brain splattering onto your knees.
“Last time I saw you,” He let’s go of your wrist with a bored expression, then replaces its spot with the top of your head. He shoves you down, and you make an effort to ignore the crack your knees make when they smack against the concrete. Then, he crouches down to stare you directly in the eye, just like he had the first time you met. His eyes were no longer dark, instead a deep shade of red that caught light from the moon. They reminded you of vials of blood. “You were this tall. Much cuter in this century.”
“And you were bigger.” Sukuna laughs as if hearing that was the funniest thing in the world. He leans his weight into you and uses you as a support beam, laughing until his ribs burn and beg for a break. But how could he laugh at a time like this? He didn’t think it was weird? He’s existed for centuries, murdered for millennias and only now has he seen you. That wasn’t how it worked, when you died, you died. But Sukuna was a walking oxymoron to that statement. When he died, if he died, he would return. He’d return through you, the last fragments of his soul would stay bound to yours until the end of time. Perhaps that’s how he knew, how he remembered. Perhaps that’s why he still took the time to find you, even after countless years of failure. It was peculiar, but not as much as being bound to Death himself. It was a sick game of turning the phrase ‘Til’ death do you part,’ because in your case it was literal.
“You’re still a brat.” His voice is closest to something fond, as if he’s reminiscing sweet memories. It was much different on your account, and part of you wondered if Sukuna understood that. He makes no effort to help you up (he explains that you’re “a big boy now”) as he invites himself into your apartment. Nothing special, he doesn’t care much for family photos or if you have them, but the stacks of letters and books on your table peak his interest. He tears apart envelopes as if he owns them, reads through the contents and discards them to the floor if he deems them useless. The way he sits nearly breaks your chair, and, honestly, you weren’t sure what to do with yourself.
So you sit beside him.
“You were so scared,” He says, almost as if he were bragging. But he was known to be arrogant and cocky, that was just his nature. He didn’t truly mean it like that, in fact, he looked quite reverent after letting the thought drift into the air. It was kind of funny, such a powerful thing fawning over past memories. But that wasn’t how this should go, you had your memory back, so why hasn’t anything happened? “When you grabbed my hand you stopped shaking.”
“...”
“It’s a shame I couldn’t keep you long,” He visibly frowns, the skin around his lips worry, but you can't tell if it’s genuine or not. He looks at you with something knowing the second the thought enters your head. “I looked for you, at first. You died young, for a human.”
Ninteen. ‘I should have been there,” he wants to add.
“Why aren’t I dying now?” You interrupt and let the panic sink in, the thought of impending doom sits on your shoulders because, really, it could happen at any moment. But this time, you don’t want it to. You remember accepting death when it came to your door at the young age of five, nineteen, countless times over and over. You had only ever gotten this far, you weren’t ready yet. You couldn’t start over, not now. “Sukuna?”
The question sours his mood in the blink of an eye, and instead of looking through your things, he raises himself from his seat to rest his palms on the table. It seemed he had a thing for staring down at people, making them cower under his stone cold gaze. You note the way his jaw clenches. You open your mouth to speak again, but he seems to have other plans. He squeezes your cheeks, making your lips purse together under the pressure of his large fingers. The movement feels familiar, like he’s done it before. The five years you spent with him were still a bit of a blur, but you remembered holding his hand quite often. He’d tell you to close your eyes if there was something he didn’t want you to see, he’d ruffle your hair a bit too hard, let you sleep on his back if he was out in the town. But that was all you remembered. He remembered it all.
“Respect your elders,” He lets go and sits back down as if he hadn’t just thrown a tantrum over you interrupting him. Sukuna was centuries old, but even then, he’d exhibit immature behavior sometimes. Living for so long had to get boring (and lonely) at some point, perhaps that was why he looked for you. He did consider you something close to family, after all. In truth, there were some lifetimes where you met. Some when you were friends, something more than that, and something inseparable. And that’s why you hadn’t died yet, you didn’t remember it all. “It’s rude to interrupt someone when they’re talking.”
“You’re much more handsome in this life.” His smile is much more intimidating than sweet, the sinister curl to his lips would only ever be associated with bloodshed in your eyes. But it was much more than that. Nights of sleeping together, days of laughter and flirtatious comments, soft moments that only you had seen. And it was bittersweet, because he knew the second he’d jog your memory you’d be gone. It wasn’t just a curse for you, but for him. Maybe it was his punishment for hurting so many people, dragging an innocent soul down with him and hanging them by the red string of fate. The comment makes your skin prickle with heat. Sukuna was quite the charmer when he wanted to be, easily picking at your weak spots with whatever you wanted to hear. But the comment was much more for the sake of his own, instead of yours.
Sukuna stands, hot on his heels as he holds out his hand one last time. If something were to happen to you tonight he’d make the most out of it, just as he did countless times over and over. So many years of starting over, getting to know you in various different bodies, realizing that being trapped away was the only way you’d get to live a full life, it was always on his mind. You were always on his mind.
So you take his hand. And for the millionth time, he’d become your second home.
could you do the “reaction to first time being shown affection” but with the new vegas/fo3 male companions as well?
Romanced! Male! FO3 Companions and the first time they’re shown soft forms of Affection
Here is some more fluff for all of you lovlies! Man, I love doing these sweet prompts so dang much 😅 Seriously, if there’s ANY characters you want to see for this that I haven’t done, please please please don’t hesitate to ask, cuz these reactions are just good for my soul (... or Sole, eh? Get it?).
Fallout New Vegas (M! Companions) reactions are also on the way for this prompt as well, and should be done soon!
Butch:
Lone's eyes fluttered open, taking in the sight of the darkened vault 101 bedroom as they stretched their legs from beneath the thin blanket with a small sigh. A blush spread to their face as they felt their partner stir beside them, repositioning himself onto his back, an arm thrown up over his head as a deep breath escaped his lips. They turned to get a better look at him, smiling slightly at how peaceful he looked. Eyes still closed, mouth dangling open slightly, hair tousled about every which way upon his head as it crushed into the pillow behind him. Lone just stared at him for a while, their heart beating insistently in their chest as they thought back on the events of their first night together… them and Butch… who would've thought?
They would have liked to pin it on the way he's changed over the years they've known him, because certainly ten-year-old Lone would have scrunched up their face in disgust at the idea of having a crush on the self-absorbed bully. But… truth is, Lone's always suspected that their feelings towards the fellow vault dweller had been more… complicated than simple hatred, or simple attraction. No, these feelings seemed to go deeper than that, even before, when they were kids and he would get on their nerves constantly, or in school when they were teens who frequently argued with each other, they knew there was something more at play between the pair, though they never would have admitted it at the time. Now though, they couldn't believe they had ever seen him any differently as they gazed tenderly at their partner through half-lidded eyes, filled to the brim with affection for the man that lay beside them.
Lone tentatively reached up a hand, not wanting to wake him, but needing to touch him. They brushed a lock of hair from his forehead, running their palm over the top of his head and smoothing down any stray strands that stuck out. Pausing their movements briefly, Lone brought themselves into a sitting position, keeping their side of the blankets up to cover their bare body as they scooted closer to him and reached their hands out towards his head again. Though his hair wasn't all that long, they rarely had the privilege of seeing it void of product, which often made it difficult to play with. Lone decided to take advantage of this instance. They took three separate strands between their fingers, crossing them over each other a few times before twisting the end, willing the little braid to hold its shape before moving to another section and doing the same. A smile spread on their lips as they carried on with their little movements, leaving a handful of tiny braids in the wake of their gentle hands as they continued listening to him snore softly below them.
As they grew less fond of the braided look, Lone smoothed each one out and began to thread their fingers upwards, giggling at their work as the entirety of his fawn-colored hair stood straight up over his slackened expression. Now if only I had dad's camera…
Their ability to stifle their laughter weakened, preventing them from suppressing the snort that escaped from them; the sound effectively jolting their companion awake.
"What the…?" He shook his head, attempting to expel his grogginess as he realized what had woken him.
"Why are you...? Wait, what happened? You laughin' at me?"
Lone nodded as another snort escaped them, Butch's confused expression now acting as the source of their second bout of giggling.
"Why? What happened?" He looked down quickly, trying to conceal any bare part of him that peeked through the thin Vault-Tec issued blanket. A panicked flush creeping up his cheeks as he tried to find the source of their amusement.
"No, no, it's nothing like that." They assured him, grabbing at his face with their hands to bring his attention back to their eyes, "Here."
Lone made a motion upwards, to try and smooth his hair down to a reasonable height, but Butch's own fingers followed, brushing the substantial mountain of silky locks that stood at attention atop his head before they could fix what they'd done. His eyes widened as he realized what Lone had been laughing at, shaking his head in an attempt to loosen the upright strands.
"Oh, you think that's funny, do ya?"
Lone smiled at him, shrugging as they prepared to answer him with some smart-ass remark, but he was upon them before they could utter a word. Their partner tackled them, pressing his lips to theirs as he forced them downwards against the mattress where he pinned their arms up over their head. When he had firmly secured their wrists in his grip, he released them from the kiss, now staring down at them smugly, a glint of triumph playing in his stormy blue eyes. Lone's heart beat raggedly in their chest as they breathlessly gazed up at their lover as he held them down. Though, to their surprise, he pulled further away from them and released his grip on their wrists, quickly bringing his hands down to their sensitive sides. He pinched his fingers slightly as he ran them over their ribcage, causing them to erupt into a fit of unbridled laughter, writhing underneath his cruel ministrations as he grinned wildly at them.
“How’s that for funny, huh, wise guy?”
Charon:
“Tell me something.” Lone stared up at the stars as they spoke, Charon’s stiff shoulder brushing their own as he lay beside them at the top of the parking structure, his shotgun still lying across his chest, held firmly in his grasp.
“What?” His gruff voice inquired. Lone couldn’t tell if he was being short with them because he was still unsure about spending the night at the top of the ruined concrete parking structure, or if it was because he genuinely didn’t understand their request, either way, they didn’t mind clarifying.
“Just, tell me something about yourself. You already know almost everything about me, and we’ve been together a few months now, and yet…” They trailed off, trying in vain to coax a proper response from their companion.
“What would you like to know?” Lone sighed softly, but smiled in spite of themself, shifting onto their side so they could look over at him. The ghoul was laying rigidly on his back, his eyes remained trained on the sky, as they had been since Lone suggested he quit keeping watch and just relax with them as they stargazed. Well, he stopped keeping watch, but I don’t think he ever got to the ‘relax’ part.
“Well… what do you want me to know about you?” They asked him, attempting to draw an answer from him without using a direct order. Ever since the two had become involved, Lone had felt uncomfortable with the idea of holding Charon's contract. Well, truth be told, they had always hated the idea of him being forced to obey their every whim and order because they held some torturous piece of paper, but now it felt especially immoral.
Silence fell over the pair as Charon struggled with Lone’s request, half of him wanting to abide by what they said and begin the process of opening up to the person he felt closest with, while the other half grappled with the phrasing of their question. The shadow of his officially void contract rendered his own preferences obsolete as the years of habit continued to keep him chained to the false comfort of his own complacency. He was never allowed to want before.
Lone gazed at him, noting the hard expression adorning his scarred face as the internal conflict raged between his temples. Charon’s pale blue eyes became obstructed as his brow furrowed, his jaw clenching as he ground his teeth in an effort to force his mouth to produce any words that could possibly provide an answer to Lone’s question.
The ghoul’s body shuddered as Lone extended their hand, sliding it over his chest before it came to rest atop one of his. They flexed their fingers, a suggestion to loosen his grip on the barrel of his shotgun, but he refused to budge. They kept the contact with him for a moment more, but as he showed no sign of yielding to their touch, they pulled away, rolling over onto their back once more.
Well, it was worth a try. Lone closed their eyes as their fatigue washed over them, remaining on the verge of consciousness as they awaited any response from their partner.
Instead of words, they felt a soft brush against their hand, and Lone peeked one eye open to witness the ghoul’s action as he pressed on, drawing his larger hand to rest over their own. Though the action was miniscule, Lone felt their breath catch in their throat as Charon slid his thumb over their skin soothingly. They hummed as a small grin graced their lips, shifting in his grasp so that they could entwine their fingers with his.
Lone’s expression dampened as they felt him pull away slightly, believing that perhaps they’d pushed their companion too far with their… official hand holding; but they were surprised as they felt his nails meet their wrist. He smoothed his fingertips up their arm slightly, before doubling back, capturing their hand fully in his own again. At that, Lone resumed their own comforting movements along his roughened skin. The ebb and flow of the pairs’ dancing hands seemed to coax something out of Charon, a sort of tenderness that Lone was otherwise unfamiliar with.
“I want… ” He started, and Lone held their breath, but continued running their fingers over his hand encouragingly.
“To tell you… it is no longer the contract that is binding me to you.” His movement against Lone ceased in his effort to continue speaking.
"At first, I did not think I would ever be able to separate myself from it. But now… the paper is obsolete. I'm loyal to you. I want you to know that."
Lone's heart leapt in their chest, as they felt tears of relief fill to the brims of their eyes. They couldn't say how long they'd been hoping to hear this from him, it was getting to the point that they thought they never would; that the dreadful scrap of parchment shackling Charon to his horrendous past would taint their relationship until the end of their days, but now…
A scarred finger brushed against Lone's cheek, capturing the tear that had escaped them in their moment of relieved contemplation. They turned their head, following his hand's retreat, and their eyes met his. A once stormy ocean now seemed to resemble a calm, pensive pool as he peered at them with a clarity he never thought he could have achieved.
Fawkes:
Lone’s eyebrows drew upwards as they gazed sympathetically at the mutant. Fawkes was hunched over, his head buried in his large hands as small grunts of frustration pushed their way through his overlapping fingers. He’d been having flashbacks all day long, the brief snippets of his time as a human tormenting him in their fragmented incompleteness.
“Fawkes?” They tested. Lone hadn’t been able to rouse him from his state of anguish since the pair had returned to their Megaton home. Three hours ago. They rose from their chair, moving to sit beside him on the couch. Thus far, they had let him be, believing that the memories he was struggling with would either come back to him fully, or slip away from his grasp altogether, as they usually did. But this time they appeared to be more insistent and less comprehensible, rendering their companion aggravated and exhausted, and leaving Lone feeling utterly useless.
As they settled beside him, they brought a hand up to rest on his broad shoulder, feeling the pulsing tenseness of his muscle as his heavy breathing forced his shoulders to rise and fall raggedly.
“Hey,” They said softly, “I know it’s hard, but you have to try and let it go.” Lone brought their hands up to grasp at his, gently pulling them away from his scrunched up face.
“That’s not you anymore. You’re Fawkes.” They told him, looking into his strained eyes, “You’re free now, free from the vault, free from who you used to be, and free to make your own choices. To be your own kind of person.” Slowly bringing their hands down towards his lap, they continued holding onto them tightly as they tried to bring him back to reality, tried to ground him back in the present.
“You’re my closest friend, Fawkes, no matter who you were, I love you now. For who you are.” Lone’s words seemed to finally draw his attention to them, his weary eyes softening at the sight of them, as the present world around him seemed to solidify. They felt his hands squeeze theirs to the brink of being too tight, holding firmly enough to keep him tethered to this reality, and when they flexed their fingers beneath the intense pressure, he became aware of his actions, and ceased them. The mutant’s grip softened as he exhaled, finally letting his taut muscles relax beneath his ravaged, olive skin.
“That’s it. Welcome back.” Lone smiled up at him, their own relief evident in their softened expression. Fawkes slumped a little lower, his fatigue forcing his shoulders to slouch and his head to bow forwards, as he blinked away the last shreds of the past that stubbornly tried to linger in his mind. Lone saw his shrunken frame as an opportunity, and withdrew their hands gently from his grasp, bringing their arms up to wrap around his shoulders. The hug was a little awkward, with his position facing straight ahead on the couch and Lone seated beside him, not to mention his much larger frame, which proved to be difficult to fully embrace; but, after a moment, he managed to bring an arm around Lone in an effort to return the gesture, allowing them to sink further into the security of his chest.
The pair remained this way for a few moments, both pressing the other firmly to them as they relaxed into the contact and grew more comfortable. Fawkes was certainly unused to the action, but his contentment was palpable in the way he slowly gave into Lone’s touch, leaning his head against theirs and clutching at them just a bit tighter before finally slackening and pulling away.
“Thank you, Lone. It is hard to feel… lost for such a long time.” His usually gruff voice came out like tattered silk as it was softened by the emotion accompanying it, and they couldn’t help but notice as Fawkes’s hand remained settled over their shoulder, still seeming to steady himself with the unwavering contact.
“Lone, how am I ever going to repay your kindness when you continue to assist me in so many ways each and every day? Your friendship is truly unparalleled.” Lone smiled at that, chuckling slightly at the sincerity of his words.
“Some people just… need more help than others.” They told him, “I’m happy to keep helping you every day, even if you can never repay me for it. That’s what people do when they care about each other, Fawkes. Love isn't a commodity to be bought and sold, at the expense of one and the gain of another; it’s something you reciprocate on your own terms, something you give to yourself and others without condition or expectation of gaining anything in return.”
Fawkes nodded his head slowly, eyes unfocused as he thought through Lone’s words.
“If that’s the case… Then, right now, I vow to love you as you say I should. Unconditionally. And hopefully that will be enough.”
Jericho:
The ex-raider collapsed with a groan, burying his head, face first, into the plush pillows atop their mattress. His rifle and bits of armor were strewn throughout the Tenpenny apartment, and Lone strolled behind him, trying to kick his things into a somewhat organized pile as they too tried to make themself more comfortable.
Bits of armor clattered to the floor as Lone made their way to their shared bed, smiling exasperatedly at their companion, stretched across the entirety of the mattress, preventing them from settling beside him.
I’m tired too, you know. They thought, releasing a puff of air as they considered how to go about solving this little problem of theirs. Lone tried dropping their bag beside the bed, the loud thud sounding as close to his ear as they could get it without physically hitting him with the sack, but Jericho didn’t even flinch. They clicked their tongue, peering around the room as they searched for a way to rouse him. As Lone started towards their shelves lining the wall of the hotel room, eyes set on the plethora of miscellaneous items they might be able to use to their advantage, a raucous snore erupted from within the plushness of their pillow-clad mattress. Lone groaned, turning about to face him before starting back towards the bed. Fine, you don’t want to make room for me? I’ll make it work anyways.
Lone approached the unconscious ex-raider, poking at the firmness of his back, testing, before hopping up in the air to land, stomach-first, on top of their companion.
“What the shit?! The fuck you think you’re doing?” He grumbled through the thick fabric.
“Just making myself comfortable.” Lone shifted their hips and shoulders, settling themself more firmly onto Jericho’s back.
“And you’re expectin’ me to put up with this shit?” He lifted his head, straining his neck to glare back at them questioningly.
“I really don’t see what you can do about it, old timer.” Lone leaned forward, digging an elbow into the back of his ribcage as they brought their mouth to his ear. They felt him tense at the pressure, bringing one of his arms back awkwardly as he tried to find a grip on them. Lone swatted his hand away with theirs, leaning onto their other side to avoid his flailing limb. As he felt their weight shift, Jericho twisted his body in an attempt to overturn them, but Lone instead decided to bring their arms around his shoulders, clinging to him so that their body shifted with his as he tried to roll them off.
“Mother fucker--” Lone began to giggle at his frustrated growls, as he rose, propping himself up on his elbows, with Lone still gripping him firmly, arms wrapped tight across his chest. He paused his thrashing, and Lone felt him shifting his head downwards, extending his neck to reach for something with his mouth…
“Ow-- Hey!” Jericho took a part of their wrist into his mouth, biting down hard, causing their grip to loosen, and at the opportunity, he decided to throw himself backwards onto the mattress, effectively crushing Lone beneath him. They felt the breath get knocked out of them as he landed, now settling himself on top of them, grinding the back of his head into their chest in an effort to make himself more comfortable in the most obnoxious way possible.
Well… that could have gone better, but hey, at least now I’m on the bed.
“Alright, you win.” They said, their voice coming out strained due to the pressure on their lungs.
“Damn right I do. Old timer… fuck you.” Lone laughed at that, reveling in the way he took their name calling so seriously.
“Alright, alright. I get the point, can you get off me now?”
“Nah. I think I like this. It’s real comfortable. Think I’ll just sleep this way.” Lone groaned at him, trying weakly to tousle him off their body before giving up with a loud sigh, being sure to blow their hot breath of frustration straight onto the top of his head. They felt his body shudder.
“Fuckin’ fine, little tike, I’ll get off.”
“Uck, don’t call me that.” Lone said as he rolled off of them, falling onto the mattress at their side. They peered over at him to see his reaction, pleased at the dark-eyed glare that bore into them, a glint of humor shining in their depths.
“Look, I’m allowed to complain,” They told him, shifting onto their side so they could see him better. “You friggin’ bit me.” The ex-raider smiled deviously at that.
“Hmm. Yeah, I did. And I’m about to do it again.” With that, he lunged at them, an arm wrapped around their waist to hold them in place as his teeth met their neck.
“Hey! What the--?” A moment later, the sharp pain dissolved away and was replaced by something soft as Jericho pressed his lips to the tender spot, soothing over the mark he had left. Lone’s eyes fell closed as his mouth moved up to their jaw, peppering kisses as it moved across their jawline to their chin, before finally drawing upwards to meet their lips.
“I hope you know.” Lone heard him say as he pulled away from them, “This ain’t over yet.” They felt the mattress shift as he collapsed back onto it, and they smiled at his words, scooting closer so they could throw an arm over his stomach as they pressed their head to the crook beneath his shoulder. Lone meant to say something cheeky in response, but before they could utter a word, they felt themself dissolve into sleep as the soft sound of Jericho’s snores filled their ears.
Namjoon reaction—calling him a ‘friend’ when he clearly has a thing for you
❀genre: smut, a bit of fluff
❀collage au
(This was originally supposed to be a quick reaction but something happened to me and I couldn’t stop writing)
“Look, Jisoo, I’d agree with you, but then we’d both be wrong” you flash a cheeky smile at your best friend. She’s being going on and on about how this Kim Namjoon guy had a thing for you.
You can’t lie, you’ve seen him around in campus and sometimes you’d wish he would suffocate you with these thighs of his. Ugh. The perfect combo, lean yet masculine physique with a brain that actually functions for a change. You’ve seen the way these collage girls were circling him around and you can’t blame them, the guy was a catch.
But he was not your crowd of people. He was outgoing, social and had loads of what you like to call “the lad friends”. You guessed his main activities were partying and getting shitfaced every night.
You’ve talked to him a couple of times. He uses the same bench as you to read now and then. You would eventually take sneak peeks at the books he was reading, check if he had any taste or not, and the result was always better than what you expected. This guy knew books. He was not just reading what was on the best seller’s that week to look sophisticated in front of others.
When he caught you peaking he’d started having small talk with you. You swear you’ve never experienced a better conversation flow with another human being. This guy screamed comfort. He seemed genuinely curious about the things you were saying. None of that painful act of pretending to be interested just because he wanted to get laid. You had been talking with him for a month straight and aside from a few moments of some what flirty looks his actions never suggested something more.
His aura was welcoming and he always paid attention to the little things. Unlike some other shallow guys out there, he felt…different.
But how different could he really be? You’ve seen the people he hangs out with. Kim Taehyung? He had a relationship with three girls at the same time. Didn’t even apologize for being the biggest jerk in history. You’ve heard Jung Hoseok’s body count was reaching a 3 digit number AND Jeon Jungkook once fucked 4 different girls at the same night.
Just thinking about it makes you sick. It pains you to admit but there’s only one truth to this. Even if Kim Namjoon was interesting, he was definitely a person you needed to stay away from. All the data point to a big fuckboy alert!
“Come on y/n…. If he wasn’t even in the slightest interested in you then why did he tell me explicitly that he wanted you to attend the party??”
“An invitation to a party doesn’t mean anything. Besides, I’m sure I’m not his style. Have you seen the type of girls he hangs out with? Yikes.”
Jisoo smirked at you “Oh, I see you’re stalking him now?”
You shake your head “Don’t be ridiculous! We take Econ together, that’s all. What? Am I supposed to cover my eyes every time I see him?”
“Maybe you should” Jisoo came closer to you “Y/n, we’re going to that party”
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
“This is a big mistake, I’ll get bored within the hour” You scream at Jisoo over the loud music.
“Don’t be a whiney ass and enjoy yourself for once” she handed you a drink.
Enjoy yourself for once. You and Jisoo’s definition of enjoying one self were clearly very different. You scan the room to look for any familiar faces you could talk to. Unfortunately, not a lot of your acquaintances attended frat parties.
Your head motion immediately pauses when you meet eyes with Namjoon across the garden. Was he looking at you this whole time? You feel your cheeks burn.
Initially, you don’t know how to react but eventually you flash him a small smile and focus back on Jisoo
“Kim Namjoon just gave me the biggest stare of all time” you say as you down your drink
“What!?” Jisoo’s eyes widened “This is the time where I say I told you so.”
You think for a second that maybe Jisoo was right all along. But that just makes the whole thing more dangerous for you. You can’t lie, Namjoon is attractive, but you knew he was trouble. Maybe he liked you today and then liked another girl tomorrow.
Suddenly, you feel a hand touch your shoulder “Hey y/n, Jisoo. Glad you guys made it” Namjoon’s low voice pierced your ears.
Jisoo gave you a look before replying to him “Hey!! We couldn’t miss such a night!” She smiled “right y/n??”
“Yeah!! Totally” you cheer kind of awkwardly.
Namjoon’s eyes fixed on you. You felt his stare eat you up. His whole presence felt angelic yet overwhelming. “Do you guys maybe want to join us? We’re sitting right by the pool”
“Oh! Sure, why not!” Jisoo answered almost immediately
You were walking towards the pool, Namjoon was pacing right next to you, he was so close to the point where you could sort of smell his cologne. You swear you could get drunk off his scent.
“I have to be honest, I didn’t think you’d actually come” He chuckled
“Are you disappointed?” You teased and raised an eyebrow.
You see a dimple smile making its appearance, how can this dude be so incredibly hot and cute at the same time? “I think pleasantly surprised would be the right way to put it”
Why do you feel like you can not breath? He hasn’t said much, yet you feel yourself burn up all of a sudden. “Good to know” you smile back.
“Joon! You have to see this” was the first thing Taehyung yelled when you arrived to the place where the guys were sitting “12 o’clock, Hobi making out with Mina from 3rd year. Can you believe it? After two years of trying to get it, he finally succeeds”
Of course the main talk is girls. No surprise there.
“Jungkook bitch, you owe me 20 bucks” Taehyung eyed Jungkook
Your expression screamed disgust. Apparently, Namjoon noticed “They are not as bad as they seem” he elbowed you.
You give him and awkward laugh “I’ll take your word for it” You lie.
“Guys, this is Jisoo and y/n. Can you stop trying to head lock each other and say hello? You’re embarrassing me” Namjoon introduced the pair of you to the boys who were still arguing about the bet.
“Oh, hey girls.” Taehyung paused to inspect Jisoo’s face. “Hey, business and shipping? Ain’t it?”
“Oh, yeah, right!” Jisoo smiled
“Hyung aren’t you taking that class for like the third time? How many times can you fail you recon?” Jungkook teased him and Taehyung answered by giving him a slap on the shoulder.
“Hey y/n, do you want to go grab a drink? I think you’ll need it if you are to tolerate these guys” Namjoon offered.
“I trust you know best” you smile and quickly follow behind him. His shoulders wide and his muscles very visible even through his airy shirt. This guy was a whole statue.
“By the way, I’ve never seen you at parties before. I think I saw you once at the December ball but that’s about it. Not really a big fan of these kind of things, are you?” He suddenly said. You can’t really decode his words. How did Kim Namjoon know you even went to the December ball? You’re pretty sure you didn’t even talk to him that night.
“Interested in me much?” You give him a cheeky smile but he was just looking at you, a couple of seconds passed without him responding “I’m only joking! It’s true I don’t really attend these sort sort of things.”
“And what do you do for fun miss y/n?” He laughs and you swear if you could bottle the sound and get drunk on it you would.
“Oh you’ll think I’m lame”
“Try me” he said in a serious tone while starring right through your eyes. Suddenly, your body felt too heavy for your legs to bear. How can he get to you like that?
“Okay…” You start, him looking at you like that didn’t help control your train of thought, but you manage to get a hold of yourself “So you know that little corner cafe on willow street? Every Friday they have these comedy music nights. A guy-“
“Park Jihoon and the little funny guitar, yeah! I used to go there every Friday during my freshman years! Do they still do that old thing? I swear the pun with the atom never failed to make my day.” He started laughing again.
“Whoah what? You’re telling me you’ve been to the shrieking shack?” That place was a little treasure you’d found earlier this year. It was an amazingly cozy place, perfect during the cold winter time. The staff were all so kind and wore these big oversized colorful ties. But the people going there were all much older than you. You’ve never heard someone your age talk about that place. Let alone a person like Namjoon.
“Careful how you talk to a veteran y/n. I’ve basically helped to build the place” he chuckled.
“Y/n is that you?” A familiar voice greeted you.
“Jimin! Oh my god, hey! It’s been ages since I’ve seen you!” You hug him.
Jimin was a great soul, he majored in contemporary dance and ballet. He had been traveling for the past couple of years enrolling in some extra ballet classes in the magical city of Paris. You envied him for his talent and admired him for his passion.
“Girl, you have to come visit me. You’ll love Europe!”
“I would also LOVE to have some money in my wallet” you laugh “Oh Jimin, this is my friend, Namjoon. We go to collage together”
Namjoon gave you a look and soon after shook Jimin’s hand “What’s up. Nice to meet you”
“Nice to meet you too! But y/n, I’m so so sorry, I have to go. I was actually on my way out just now. I sort of uhm, have a thing-you know” he coughed “I’m leaving in two weeks, can we please meet before that?”
You knew Jimin was probably off to his ex boyfriends house. They broke up before Jimin left for Paris but every time he got back he’d have a couple of hookups with him. “Oh yeah! I bet you’ve got something very important right now, you better go quickly” you teased him “I’ll text you tomorrow, ok?”
Jimin laughed so much his eyes were barely visible “definitely! text me! I’ll be off then! Bye mister Kim Namjoon” he playfully said and was out of your sight a second later.
“You two seem…close” Namjoon suddenly commented
“Yeah! We were! But he has been studying abroad for like two years now.”
Namjoon’s facial expression was quite enigmatic “Did you guys ever… you know”
“Oh no no no.” You pause to make a small chuckle “Jimin isn’t exactly interested in, well, girls like me, or to be exact, girls in general”
Namjoon’s eyes widened and he immediately bursted into laughter “oh… I see” he made a pause “So tell me then, how come the old soul that never goes to parties finally attends one?”
You feel your cheeks burn red. Partly because the reason you went was him. You don’t know why, but the past month you and Namjoon hit it off very well and you wanted to test Jisoo’s crazy theory, you wanted to make sure for yourself if Namjoon was interested in you or not. Now the problem was, even if it turned out he did like you, you didn’t know what you’d do exactly. Namjoon was a really nice guy, but he didn’t come without his red flags.
“Just wanted to try something different, I guess”
“And how’s that 'different' treating you so far?”
What could you possibly tell him? That you have enjoyed every minute you guys have been talking? That you think that just by staring at you he could make you feel things no other guy could? You barely can admit all of that to yourself. “I think pleasantly surprised is the right way to put it” you repeat his words from before.
You see him smile at that. “You know what y/n? I’m really happy you came”
How can he make your heart beat so fast with just one sentence? “Oh really? And why is that?”
“I don’t know, I guess… I just like talking to you, you know? Whenever I’m around you I feel at ease, like I can tell you anything. I feel different when I’m with you, but in a good way”
“Wow” that sound escaped your lips without your consent
Namjoon laughed “Why? Is it too weird?”
“No! Definitely not weird, more like, I don’t know, surprising?”
“In what way?”
“Well you’re… Kim Namjoon, you’re the 2021 class president and you’re like the most popular guy in the whole campus right now.” You made a pause “And I’m just..-“
“The most interesting girl I’ve ever met” he cuts you off
The way he was looking down at you made butterflies grow in your stomach “You really think so?”
He gently grabbed your waist and pulled you closer to him “I know so” he leaned down, you swear his eyes had the whole galaxy painted inside of them. You couldn’t even breath properly at this point. Kim Namjoon was too close and the only thing you were thinking about was how well his kiss would feel “God, you’re so beautiful” he said and pulled you in for a soft, gentle kiss.
You couldn’t believe your senses. Kim Namjoon was kissing you and you really thought the earth had stopped spinning right then and there. You could feel his big palms traveling up and down your back.
His kiss was breathless, jubilant, filled with the joy of life, and you should stop him, he is no good to you, you know that, but his scent is delightful and his lips are so warm.
Unconsciously, your hands reach the inside of his shirt. His skin hot and soft at the touch.
"y/n" he practically moans your name, and just the sound makes your knees go week "Don't do that, I don't think I'll be able to stop"
"Who said anything about stopping?" You say and go back to kiss him even more passionately this time.
“There’s a lot of people here, my room is upstairs, would you perhaps want to-“
“Yes.” You immediately say. You don’t care about anything anymore, you’d let your future self deal with the consequences of today’s actions. The only thing that has been lingering in your mind is how good he’d feel inside of you.
The moment you’re finally alone in his room, he lifts you up, swinging you around and kissing you. It was like a dream. Namjoon was everything you wanted. Your reluctance about getting with him didn’t matter any more, the tingly feeling in your stomach overtook every single bit of hesitation you had. You needed him.
“God, you’re lovely” he exhaled
He looks at you as he sinks you down on the bed. Planting a soft kiss before his hands quickly begun to peel away clothes, yanking his belt loose, fumbling hurriedly at his trousers.
You look at his lips tracing your skin and the faint moisture left behind, you look at his muscly arms as he lifts you up and sinks you down again, you look at him looking at you, with eyes brighter than the sun itself. Was this all a dream?
When your dress was finally off he undoes your bra clasp on the way down. Slowly planting kisses on your collarbone, the tops of your breasts, your sternum, and you arched you back as you were needy for more.
His lips finally reach your nipples .Your boobs smooth under his hands, your nipple firm under his tongue, and there, that makes you squirm again, a little more insistently this time.
“Fuck, I’m so fucking wet right now, I feel it” You moan
You see him raise an eyebrow. A vivid smirk painted on his face “Let’s check, shall we?”
He splays his hand low across your belly, and the first brush of his thumb over your clit makes you breathe in sharply and him forget to breathe at all.
“I’m your friend?” He breaths in, his voice dangerously low
“Oh come on” You manage to say in between moans “what was I supposed to tell Jimin?”
His strokes and flicks are light and teasing, his thumb carefully circling around your clit. He gives you a slow, constant, unyielding pressure that makes your breath come up short, makes your toes curl in the effort not to move.
“I’m gonna fuck the word ‘friend’ right out of your pretty little mouth” he covers your mouth with an intense kiss before slipping two fingers of his free hand inside of you, and you makes a noise like triumph and want all wrapped up together. If his fingers felt like this, you can’t imagine how his dick felt like.
“Hmm?” He doesn’t look up, he keeps his eyes on his hands, on you, spread out beneath him “You like that baby?”
God, just the way the word 'baby' sounded coming from his mouth could make you come right this second. You look at him, his eyes look as hungry as his voice sounded. This dude was out of this world.
“Please Namjoon, I want it, I want you inside of me right now”
Namjoon lowered his underwear, and simply pressed his hard member on your slit. You could feel his balls softly caressing your clit as he made subtle movements while kissing you. “Such a needy little thing” he teases “Tell me how bad you want my cock inside of you”
“Oh..” you moan “I’d do anything, please…give it to me… fuck me like you own me” you whined as you used your pussy to caress his length up and down. He seemed to enjoy they way you touched him.
“Fuck y/n… that feels so good” he rests his forehead on yours.
“Imagine what my inside will feel then” you whisper in his ear “I’m such a tight good girl” you move your mouth in front of his, bitting his bottom lip as he growled when he felt your movement grow faster
“Fucking hell” he immobilized your body with his hands and pressed you down to the bed. He immediately shoves his dick inside you, filing you up to the brim before staying there for a couple of seconds and then pulling out completely. That movement made your vagina crave to be filled all the way up again.
“More” you whine, a dopey expression all over your face. You were so needy of him, but you didn’t care.
He lowered his left hand towards your thigh and gave it a big squeeze, kissing you aggressively while doing so. He quickly braced himself back into you, you felt your walls completely wrap around his member. It felt magical.
His strokes long and steady in the beginning. Every time he went in and out completely you felt the pit of your stomach burn in pleasure. Namjoon was doing everything right, you can’t lie to yourself, this is the best sex you’ve ever had. Normally with other guys you don’t even come close to coming, but now, you feel yourself trying not to do so.
“You like my dick being inside of you baby?” He plants a small kiss on your neck and goosebumps run down your spine.
‘Like’ was nowhere near good enough of a word to explain how much the sensation of him thrusting his hard member in and out of you made you feel. “I love it Namjoon… I just love it…”
Your words must’ve turned Namjoon even more on, because his pace immediately started becoming faster and sloppier. Every time your skin touched a loud sound could be heard. Namjoon was thrusting deeper and deeper into you, and every time he’d fill you up completely you’d cry out his name.
“Ah, I like my name so much better when you fucking moan it like that” he says and started shoving his dick inside of you like crazy. You could tell he was close to coming, and so were you.
It wasn’t long until you felt your walls clenching and your toes curling. The sensation overtook all of your body, it was mad… your heart beat uncontrollable. Namjoon made you feel a completely new range of emotions.
“Ah y/n, I can feel you cumming all over my dick” his voice cracky, You could see how turned on he was by all of this, by you. “Fuck” he shoved harder “You’re so” harder “fucking hot”
Namjoon stopped and pulled out immediately spreading his cum all over your tummy. The sight was breathtaking, you’ve never found a man so attractive while coming before, but then, Namjoon is no ordinary man.
He quickly grabs a couple of tissues and wipes you clean before laying on top of you again, placing another soft kiss this time. His hand playing with your hair. You were both naked and sweaty and a mess but it felt so magical. You wrapped your hands around his broad shoulders, pulling him even closer to you. You didn’t want even a centimeter of distance between you and him.
He suddenly stopped kissing you and simply stared at your eyes. After a minute or two, or maybe three, you're not really sure, time didn't exist right now, he tacked a string of hair behind your left ear.
“Y/n, let me take you on a date. Please. I know you don’t normally go out with guys like me, but I swear I’ll make it worth your while-“
“Park Jihoon and the little funny guitar. How does that sound? Or are you too good for the shrieking shack now?” You chuckled
“I’d love that” he smiled, making your heart melt a little.
