I feel better. like actually, I genuinely did just need sleep. It hasn’t eliminated the feelings that were there last night, but they’ve become significantly more manageable. I’ve got a therapist, and I’m going to tell her I’ve been feeling more depressed lately and get all the stuff outta my system. Hopefully.

😳😳😳 would you ever like to share more on mirday’s dynamic with the class.. i am very much a curious one

don’t have much new to share but i’ll do my best

mirday has been hard to cook mostly because sunday’s story is still incomplete and i find him difficult to write

mirror as a character is also passive by nature which prevents any real plot happening, since they outright refuse to involve themself and take an active role and are mostly woven into penacony’s story as an observer

but anyways. i can at least share what i have in mind even if it is stc

i think mirror travels around penacony looking for something interesting for a while (like all other memokeepers, she is not impressed by how plastic and bland the thoughts and memories of penacony residents can be) and ends up in dewlight pavilion, hidden and looking around until sunday forces them to reveal themself

their relationship and dynamic definitely start out abrasive and depending on how fucked up (see: horny) i am in the moment they either slowly shift to being wholesome or stay Weird

but since mirror is basically peeping into his business sunday doesn’t exactly show them his gentlemanly side, even if mirror makes clear that they mean no harm. i’m not sure how much influence sunday would have over a memetic entity like a memokeeper even as someone who can directly harness the harmony— if he can’t, then he just sort of has to deal with mirror following him around (they find him interesting. the color of his thoughts are placid and unassuming, but they can catch glimpses of trouble in paradise)

so sunday doesn’t feel very positively about mirror until he realizes or maybe twists their arm into being useful for him— potentially investigating around the dream, depending on the methods of his research into discovering the family’s traitor. mirror doesn’t like to involve themself actively within things but probably wouldn’t mind being an informant, provided he provides what they truly want (his memories)

mirror falls for him as they acquire more and more of his thoughts and memories, and begins to grow protective of him. they puzzle out his true goals and intentions but can’t find it in themselves to hate or even dislike him, and instead dedicate themselves to being his shadow— not his savior, perhaps not even his defender, but his witness at the very least

mirror in general also has somewhat of a peculiar personality— they are no longer easily angered, transcending physical form and detaching themself from reality, and are generally somewhat soft-spoken and almost shy, even if occasionally shameless or sly. they are basically always kind and gentle to sunday, even in the face of his saucy passive-aggressive ass, and this demeanor + it finally getting through to sunday that they are genuinely just curious about him would get him to soften up eventually. mirror is also a representation of what he is striving to achieve for humanity, serene and free of troubles (on the surface), so they are both very devoted towards the other in different ways

if i’m going the fucked up horny route i make sunday lose his mind a little bit with paranoia and Catholic Guilt over mirror following him / being on his mind. is he being watched? where are they? the eyes that look through him are not xipe or even gopher’s, no… they are an admirer. it is wrong of him to bend to such a preference displayed towards him, maybe even blasphemous, but they seem such like a pure embodiment of his view of perfection… so what is one dance?
