They explained their first experience at a bucces. And THEN later phil said that his new favorite nuts are bucces nuts (as revealed later when they were asked by the audience to discuss nuts). Also they hate peanuts and think no one likes them unless they're paid to by "big peanut". And they both like "hot nuts" and Dan likes them salted and Phil likes them sweetened/candied. Chapter 11 - He says he's no good with words, but I'm worse [Chishiya x Reader]

When you woke up, Chishiya's side was empty.

Oh no. What had you done? Had you said something in your sleep? You used to be a night walker when you were a kid, but you had never been a sleep talker. Or at least no one had told you, if you were. Maybe nobody told you because they found it entertaining and now your whole situationship with Chishiya was over. You were spiraling when the door opened and he came in, in his white hoodie, holding a mug and something brown wrapped in a napkin.

"You are awake. I don't know what you usually have for breakfast."

You felt so relieved you wanted to jump, grab his face between your hands and kissed it entirely. But you remained composed, clearing your throat, using both your arms to change into a sitting position. You usually never had breakfast, not eating anything until noon. But you were not about to tell him that, because that was just. So. Endearing.

"Whatever is available."

You smiled, he smiled. He handed you the mug of steaming black coffee (definitely way too hot for you, you only drank coffee if it was an extremely expensive Starbucks drink with lots of ice, and lots of milk, so that the taste was masked as much as possible) and a bun. You took a sip, burnt your tongue as you knew you would (at least the coffee wouldn't taste so bitter then) and took a bite of the pastry, which was actually really nice.

"Did you want sugar?" He said, eyebrow raised after seeing the expression you made when drinking.

"No, no, it's perfect!" You exclaimed. But it was clear he had found out.

"Sorry. I am not good at this."

"Well, knowing how other people take their coffee is an art. You clearly are a master of deduction, but couldn't get in here." You pointed to your head, smiling. Last thing you wanted was for him to feel bad about not getting your coffee order right. "You are handsome, you are intelligent. If you also had got this right first try it would be too much for poor little me. The bun is really good, tho."

"You think I'm handsome?" He smirked, teasing you, taking a sit in the chair next to the bed.

"You know I do."

"You never told me."

Was that true? You honestly couldn't recall. You knew you had thought about it, multiple times, but were unsure whether you had actually said it out loud or not. To Kuina? For sure. To him? Maybe not.

"Fishing for compliments?"

"Maybe."

"I already said you were intelligent, handsome and a master of deduction. You won't be getting any more so far, otherwise your ego will grow too big and we won't fit in this room. And I'll have to go find somewhere else to sleep."

"Kuina won't let you in."

"Maybe Arisu then." You said, deadpan look in your face. He bent forwards to take the coffee mug from your hand, drank from it and left it in the night stand. He took your free hand in his.

"No, you are staying with me." You smiled. Wasps in your belly and the tingling of a million ants where his skin met yours. "He got in trouble yesterday, Kuina told me."

"Who, Arisu? How?" He didn't seem like the kind of person who went looking for trouble.

"The militants. They took interest in Usagi, the girl he came with."

"Oh no." You meant it. You had been lucky enough that Niragi had sort of forgot about you, likely because now you were back in Chishiya's company and he was on top of him in the hierarchy of The Beach. But you were not stupid, and even if the blonde man hadn't told you, you could see. The tension grew bigger, and bigger, between the Executives and the militants.

"Arisu stood up, and defended her." Go, Arisu! "They were going to break his legs so that he would die in the next game when the Hatter appeared." You never thought you would be grateful for that man's input.

"He stopped it?"

"Yes. There was an executive meeting this morning, which is why I had to leave. Apparently the only card the Hatter is missing, is the ten of hearts. He wants us to keep an eye open for it. He also has to renew his visa soon."

You bit the inside of your cheek, thinking. Any time the Hatter left The Beach, you feared the militants would do something crazy. But, if he was to participate in a game, he would probably take Aguni with him and there was only so much that group could do without his big, scary boss.

"I plan on telling Arisu about the plan. You and Kuina should come, as well."

"Now?" You looked at your half-eaten bun, at his hand you didn't want to let go off just yet.

"Later on."

"Come sit with me then?" You asked, tugging gently at his arm so that he would sit by your side. He smiled and did so, putting his arm around you once more. You leaned on him, still eating from time to time, him drinking the coffee you obviously didn't want.

"For next time, very little coffee. Lots of milk. Enough sugar to get cavities."

"Note taken."

"Although, maybe not the sugar. Like, what if I actually had cavities and had to go to the dentist? Are there any dentists here? Would I just have to drink an entire bottle of rum while you or Kuina pulled my tooth out? Could I ever forgive you for that if it was one of my front teeth?"

"These insights into your mind are fascinating."

"I mean it."

"I know it."

He was laughing. And you were laughing as well, but also, it was a little bit serious.

"My mind's a constant monologue. Got worse since landing here."

Your heart was racing. Your breath turned heavy. Your faces were so close, if you moved forward a little bit, your lips would meet his. In fact, was he already moving towards you?

He shrugged and went back to scrolling through Instagram when Youngbin busted through the door and presented his girlfriend with a bag

“I got you chocolate and ice cream. Plus your pads and some painkillers” he said while kissing her forehead

She only then opened a bright smile and hugged her boyfriend repeatedly saying thank you. She then got up and ran to the toilet

“What’s up with her?” Chani mumbled

Youngbin with his sharp hearing answered that she was on her period

Chani stopped and started to think back to the last time you, his s/o was on your period but he couldn’t recall a single moment. Of course, his thinking face didn't go unnoticed by Youngbin and his girlfriend who just returned from the toilet.

"Don't you do anything to y/n? You should spoil them ” Bin's Gf questioned Chani

"I… I've never witnessed their period…" he asked

。One night he finds you sleeping peacefully under a tree near Liyue Harbor, still holding a sword in your hand

。He tries his best not to disturb because your sleeping face is so cute ngl

。Then Childe notices some calla lily spilled from your bag, his eyes lit up in awe

。He instantly realizes that you made your way all back to Mondstadt to get them for him because you knew he liked calla lily soup <3

。Sits down next to you as quiet as he can so he doesn't wake you up

。Suddenly you shift and hold the sword closer, murmuring something?

。"Childe... I love..."

。Then you completely rest your head on his shoulder without knowing

。"...you." you finish, still sleeping of course

。His eyes widen for a moment, but then a soft smile appears as he whispers

。"I love you too."

Chongyun:

。After a day of helping him finding evil spirits tho none appeared, you two decide to rest

。And you sit next to each other

。He doesn't seem like he needs some sleep, but you are too tired that your eyes close without realizing

。He feels like you both are in middle of nowhere, hostile beings can appear anytime so he guards you (aww)

。Chongyun may put his guard off for a while for his ice cream, then your sudden move catches his attention

。You squeeze his hand and whisper his name which confuses him

。But you are still sleeping so he thinks it's normal and doesn't mind

。Until an "I love you" slip out, he silently panics

。You surely don't mean him, or at least that's what he thinks...

。But you did say his name right?

。He takes a moment to register his thoughts then starts to blush madly

。Of course he does love you too! He was too shy to tell you all this time, his heart is about to explode of happiness

。Probably won't directly let you know this when you wake up, but he will imply by growing affectionate from time to time

Xiao:

。It is a night after he saved you from whatever enemies because you had overworked and were too tired to fight

。Because of your state he doesn't dare to leave you by yourself

。So he takes you back to Wangshuu Inn with him

。He seems annoyed by how you fall asleep in his arms (but he really isn't)

。Gently puts you in the bed without waking you up

。When he stands up, you mindlessly cling onto his arm, a sign of "Don't go", and he doesn't understand why but he doesn't want to refuse

。So he stays and watches you sleep, how cute

。Xiao ponders for a moment for why he doesn't hate this way of contact, then suddenly you call his name

。But your eyes are still closed, he assumes you're still sleeping

。He stares, confused, until he hears the next words

。"...I love you" as you squeeze his arm a little tighter

。How could someone say such a thing in their sleep? He asks himself, but he believes you really mean it

。"I don't need you to remember my words, but just for you to know, that I love you too" he will softly whisper and kiss your forehead

Xingqiu:

。Imagine!! that you two are in a library then you actually drift off

。Of course you aren't officially dating, you only went here to "keep him company" (what a bad lie because you do have feelings for him)

。He didn't notice at first because he was too tied to reading

。When he turns to you to ask something, you're already asleep

。He thinks himself is a bad person for not watching you carefully

。His frown quickly shifts into a smile as he admires your sleeping figure

。"Did I bore you that much, (Name)?"

。He thinks you're so cute like this <3

。So he completely forgets about reading and just watches you

。"Xing..qiu... I love you, but why... don't you..." you murmur in your sleep, you'll probably get embarrased when you wake up if you know about this

。Xingqiu's eyes widen, he just got to hear the thing he wanted to hear the most!!

。He chuckles, then slowly leans closer to peck your lips without hesitating

。If you won't wake up shortly, he will carry you on his back and leave the library with a mischievous smile

Zhongli:

。So, you fall asleep at the middle of his "speech"

。He was telling lots of stories and you weren't bored by them but for some reasons you still drifted off

。He immediately notices when you stop moving so often

。Much like Xiao, Zhongli isn't bothered by this at all

。He will walk around to make your seat as comfortable as possible for your sleep then go back to his (which is next to yours) and silently watches you

。He does it extremely careful not to disturb you

。Slowly, your head falls on his shoulder

。He already knew this would happens so he bent down a little to make it easier for you if you are shorter than him

。You look so peaceful he doesn't dare to stand up

。So you two just stay this way, with you sleeping and him fully awake looking after

。A couple of moments passed, your sleep-talking finally breaks the silence

。"I love you..."

。Zhongli blinks twice and stares, did he hear it right? If yes, he is 100% sure that was for him judging by your action, he will smile warmly before returning the same words, still quiet not to wake you but enough for you to remember when you do

You were aimlessly walking around the boardwalk bored of all the rides you had already done. Observing your surroundings as you make up a fake personality for each person you pass by. Your friends were gossiping next to you but you weren’t really focused on what they were saying. When your group agreed to take a break they all decided to leave to get ice cream but you chose to stay and rest your feet instead.

distracted by the moonlight hitting the ocean you didn’t notice the group of guys slowly approaching you. “what’s a sweet thing like you doing out this late~?” well that certainly brought you back to reality. “It’s only 10 pm idiot.”  you snarked back a reply as you turned around 4 guys stood next to you. “oouuhh~ this kitty’s got claws!” one of the curly blondes replied.

They all seemed really interested in making you like them but something else caught your eye or should I say someone else? unfortunately, one of the guys was blocking your view and wouldn’t move out the way. “move you're blocking the view” as you pushed past him you saw a curly-haired brunette that wore a long white dress. “Good evening my lady~ what’s a delicate flower such as yourself doing hanging around these parts” you said as you picked her hand up and placed a light kiss on it while maintaining eye contact.

EVERYONE was dumbfounded. “did she seriously just push me aside?!?” David asked himself while Marco was on the floor laughing his ass off. right, when you and Star were about to turn around one of the guys said something. “Hey! where do you think you’re going sweetheart?”  the look on Star’s face was nervous, it made your stomach sink.  “We were about to go for a walk”  you replied for her, David gave you a deadly glare that you gladly returned."Neither are you invited” and with that, you quickly took Star’s hand and left.

You guys spent the rest of the night walking around and making conversation about your hobbies and interests. Taking her on every ride she asked for and spoiling her the whole night made your heart race, especially when she would look at you after she made a joke to see if you liked it or not. Both of you decided to gift each other a ring, every time you held hands the cold metal would rub against your fingers.

Star was smiling you were smiling, and everything felt perfect. Well, that was until you guys had to part ways. "It was lovely hanging out with you today" you said with a smile on your face "Yeah I really enjoyed it... would you like to meet me by the merry-go-round tomorrow?" Star said shyly barely maintaining eye contact "sure, same time?" "Yep!" and right before you turned away she grabbed your face and kissed your cheek.

After you had left to go meet up with your friends, Star was stuck having to fight herself out of the guy's grasp. "Dude she was so hot! I would let her choke me!" Paul blurted out as everyone else started asking questions. Micheal kept quiet the entire time as everyone fussed over Star and you.

"do you think she'd be down to-" "Don't even think of finishing that sentence Marco." Star retorted knowing he was going to ask something inappropriate. A/N: eeeee I’m so excited about this. I saw this art and immediately was inspired. I would really like to do a series based on these. This is all thanks to leechee doodles here on Tumblr. You and Iida definitely got off on the wrong foot

You guys didn’t hate each other per say, but you annoyed each other for sure

Iida just wanted his fellow classmates to be successful and tried to encourage you as class rep. And you just wanted to only take part in the aspects of hero work that you actually enjoy

In your own ways, you both stressed each other out

Iida would give you lectures any time you ditched class, saying you needed to be responsible in order to be the best hero you can be

You just stood and rolled your eyes the entire time with your arms crossed over your chest

Eventually, one day Iida just said fuck it (he didn’t actually phrase it that way bc he doesn’t use the bad words) and picked you up and carried you to class.

The whole time with you kicking and screaming, which doesn’t affect him bc he’s a fucking tree

This became routine. Iida was with you almost 24/7, keeping you in line. This caused even more tension between you guys

“I don’t need a babysitter!”

“Well you wouldn’t if you stopped acting like a baby and attended to your duties!” *snickers* “You’re gonna tell me you’re not a baby when you can’t even not laugh at the word ‘duty’?!!!”

The bickering wouldn’t stop and it was driving EVERYONE crazy

So as Aizawa solves all problems, he paired up the duo with pent up frustration for their final exam

You guys were rolling your eyes when you saw you had to work together but weren’t surprised tbh

It seemed like you guys weren’t gonna make it, but at the last second you were able to distract Cementoss and give Iida an in to dash up and capture him

You guys cheered and high fived when you realized you’d passed, the negative feelings towards each other forgotten

Afterward you guys had a talk.

“Good job out there today, Iida. I’m impressed on how you came up with a strategy so quick. I guess studying so much does actually help, huh.”

“Thank you, L/N! I appreciate the kind words, especially coming from someone who has such good control over their quirk like yourself!”

The whole time both of you were staring at the ground, blushing to hard to look at the other person while complimenting them. Iida still did the hand waving tho lmao

Afterwards, Iida still kept an eye on you always bc he thinks you have a lot of potential and wants you to do well

And you don’t find him as annoying anymore, so don’t really try to avoid him

This ends up with you guys basically just hanging out rather than him chaperoning you.

Training, studying, making food, you guys are together a lot

You and Iida occupied a table in the dining area for your studies for the millionth night in a row. The other students know better than to disturb you at this point. Yes, you guys are friends now, but you still bicker like an old married couple.

“I could really go for some ice cream right now,” you said while leaning back in your chair.

“L/N! You know that stuff isn’t good for you! Why do you wish to consume such sugary content?! Why don’t you eat an apple instead?!”

“I don’t think that’s how cravings work. Besides we have training tomorrow and always so I will still be keeping myself in shape. It’s one treat.”

“L/N, we are studying to become the best heroes! We need to be responsi-“

“But that’s just it! We are always going to be working to be the best we can be. You need to be able to enjoy yourself. Life isn’t all about work, you know?” You said standing up and grabbing his arm, “We’re going out. Come on!”

“Absolutely not! It is after curfew! It would be dangerous and-“ Iida lectured on and on until you guys were basically in front of the ice cream place. He tried to get you to stay back, but you were surprisingly strong when you were determined. (Also, he probably wasn’t resisting as much as he could’ve).

You guys went in and ordered. You got cookie dough with some chocolate syrup on top, and Iida got a scoop of vanilla on a cone, only because you insisted he get something. After you got the ice cream you went to a nearby park and sat on a bench.

“Mmmmmm this is so good. Totally worth it.” You say as you take your first bite, eyes closed while enjoying the delicious dessert.

“I’m not sure if it was worth breaking the rules, but as long you are enjoying yourself I guess it’s alright.”

“That’s because you got the most boring flavor. Here try some of mine.” You said raising a spoonful up to him.

This caused his face to go red and he stared at you with wide eyes for a few seconds before speaking. “No, L/N! I appreciate the offer but it would be inappropriate. Mine is perfectly fine and-“

As he was rambling, you shoved the spoon in his mouth, making him blush even harder. “L/N! You could’ve choked me.”

“But was it good though?”

“Yes, I suppose so.” He said at almost a whisper.

A shit-eating grin grew on your face, “Told ya so. See, Iida look.” You gestured over to the sight in front of you. There were people scattered throughout the park enjoying their night, and you could even see the glowing city in the distance. “We are a part of what makes this all possible. There wouldn’t be people out here living their lives if we didn’t keep them safe. It may not be too often, but we still get to relish in the world we created too. It reminds us why we do what we do.”

Iida couldn’t help but just stare at you for a hot minute. You looked gorgeous under the moonlight while you looked around in awe. You were more wise than he ever gave you credit for. He had always thought you were carefree, but actually you just had cared about things differently than him and he failed to realize.

“You’re right, L/N. We should be able to enjoy this more often.”

“We?”

“Of course. Why would I do something fun without you?” Now you started to get all flustered. Feeling heat rush to your face, you covered it with your hands and looked toward the ground. “Are you alright? Sorry I didn’t mean to say anything that would upset you.”

“No, don’t worry. You didn’t upset me. I would love to spend some time with you.”

So you guys did. Well you already spent a lot of time together already but now you guys would go out and do something fun if you had free time

Like instead of training on the weekends, you guys sometimes walked around the park.

And every time you’d go, you guys would also visit the ice cream shop you guys went to that one night and try a new flavor

You also were participating more in class. You’re grades were getting better from the beginning of your guys’ relationship, but now you actually were invested.

After a test, you would show Iida your grade and thank him for all his help, and he would be so proud and excited for you

Of course, your classmates started to catch onto you guys being more and more friendly with each other

Hagakure snuck up on you guys one day while you were studying. “Alright, when did you two start dating? We all thought you hated each other but now we know it was all an act to throw us off, so spill the beans.”

“Oh, no we’re not dating.” You replied

“Well..” Iida started to talk and your eyes darted towards him

“I mean now that someone has said it, I wouldn’t be opposed to dating you, L/N. I really enjoy my time with you and think you’re a great person. Could I take you on an official date?”

“Y-yea I would really like that.”

“Awwww that was so adorable! I can’t believe I just help you guys get together!” She skipped out of the room, on her way to tell everyone her accomplishments

“Sorry, L/N, that probably wasn’t the best timing.”
