You are having a rather nice chat with Madam Ping (or any adepti really) and then she drops the bomb about everyone he once knew is either dead or in isolation. If that didn't hit you hard enough, she reminds you of what he had to do to Azdaha, his best friend (shhh let's assume) to save Liyue. When Zhongli meets you later at the tea house, you stare at him for a while and break down. And by break down I mean you can't speak because you're crying so hard. This lone god has had to deal with death and the loneliness it brings so many times and yet he still stood strong and firm for Liyue, his Liyue that he so dearly built and raised himself (? I'm not sure, ig Guizhong also helped?) Once your tears start, they don't stop as your mind keeps getting with the thought of everything this man has had to endure alone, until you came along.

Once you calm down, that is after you take a look at his genuinely concerned face and decide that the poor soul needs an explanation. After explaining he just chuckles and asks to take a walk with you to Pervases Temple. On the way there, he remarks how he never really dwelled on it too much until today because Liyue was always the priority. That is until you came along. Now he just lives in the present allowing the old memories to rough around the edges, clear enough to remember but blurred enough to avoid pain and sadness. And then he takes your hand, brings it up to his chest.

You were kind and compassionate enough to share eons of pain with me in just a mere day so let me share an eternity of joy and prosperity with you for time perpetual.

i don't have an awful lot on All of the elites but i did try to get at least Some things down for fic writing purposes (long post ahead)

Lamine [61F] - Extreme grandma but not in the "adorable little old lady way," more in the "stern micromanaging evil matriarch who rules over the family with an iron fist" way. Very no-nonsense, kind of a boomer.

Daphnel [58M] - The mom friend And the dad friend. He is very tired and stressed most of the time. Thinks most of the other Elites are batshit insane (which they are) and would much rather be back at home sitting in a nice armchair or some such.

Maurice [53M] - Mysterious. Loves lurking. Loves knowing everybody's business. On the rare occasion that he actually says anything about himself, he'll inevitably contradict whatever he said within the week. The type to respond "none of your business" when you ask how his day went.

Gautier [42F] - She actually just doesn't talk much at all. Very stoic. Secretly does in fact have a sense of humor but would never let anyone know this. Her face is always hidden behind her helmet, which makes hiding laughter and expressions a lot easier (and also often causes people to assume she's a man).

Charon [40F] - A total troll. Edgy, in the "likes to piss people off by saying ridiculously offensive stuff then be like Haha Lol U Mad" way. Probably a swordfucker. Gets along well with Fraldarius, much to everybody's chagrin.

Riegan [37M] - Also extremely edgy but in his case it's the "middle school weeb who growls at people and constantly threatens violence when he doesn't actually intend to get violent because he thinks it intimidates people" kind of edgy. Except he is actually quite capable of violence.

Gloucester [34M] - This is just kinda how his life is going. Generally has a lowkey, deadpan personality. Goes along with the other Elites' shenanigans because "man, this might as well happen." If weed exists in ancient Fódlan, he probably smokes it.

Goneril [33M] - Kind of a fuckboy but overall probably one of the saner Elites. Besides Daphnel. Good with gauntlets and an axe but actually prefers Good Ol' Fisticuffs because he thinks it's more impressive.

Fraldarius [32F] - The asshole jock frat boy who is way too into football competitive flying, shoves nerds into lockers, and smells like BO and way too much Axe body spray. Extremely smug. The only person she isn't mean to is Blaiddyd.

Blaiddyd [30M] - Drama queen and world-class thot extraordinaire. Lives for chaos, antics, and of course shenanigans. Actually a surprisingly nice person, all things considered, but not nice enough not to scam you for everything you're worth. He is incredibly intelligent, but also incredibly good at hiding it.

Dominic [19NB] - Acutely aware that they are the youngest, but rather than futilely snap at their colleagues to Treat Them Like An Adult TM, Dominic would rather embrace it and be an unabashedly Aloof Teen TM and tell the middle-aged Elites "ok 🅱️oomer." they are actually, however, really, really tired of being eternally (physically) 19. it's very irritating to be older than all your troops by a good couple centuries and still get that telltale "our commanding officer is this kid?!" look.

1. Which of your muses to do relate to the most?

sO its sorta hard to pinpoint the exact parts i relate to, bc i wouldnt say i relate to a specific muse in general, as much as parts of various muses altogether. like i can relate to bruces struggles to decide what true justice is, and to differentiate between people doing good and people doing bad, or the fact that there is a silver lining between (that tbh 99% of the internet can't recognize at all they're all so far one way or another way even auts like me dont get their shit lol) as well as the tendencies to heavily lean into research, overfocusing on something in particular, just general struggles

or like ashley in U/ntil D/awn, she's sort of the shy one, but she also reacts. like she doesn't just notice, she reacts. she gets attacked? she stabs, she realizes she fucked up, and she can never stop thinking about it years later. that's something i definitely do all the time, even after realizing something wasn't my fault or that i was gaslit into believing it was my fault when i wasnt even involved (ashley was involved she was definitely one of the players but anyways) you don't just, stop thinking about it, even when you know it wasn't your fault. you can't stop thinking about it.

or like the loyalty ethan and mia have, the way they're willing to risk every single thing about themselves for their family, that's just inspirational in my opinion, but doesn't always necessarily mean that doing everything for them is a good thing for yourself, if that makes sense.

or even cassandra like, she struggles just to walk in a straight line or to even see things clearly, which i definitely can relate to bc my visions awful, my hearings awful, theres no focus, i'm visually disabled in multiple ways and can't even really read well, it's all just a lotta struggle through and through, but like.. she did it anyways. she pushed through. and yeah she's a man eating monster now but the fact she pushed past the things that cause struggle is still important!! especailyl because not all of us can!!

basically its a lot of little things that build up a bigger thing, imo, and it can go on forever lol.

I found S.D. P/erry's novelization of shadow of the t/omb r/aider, which i own but haven't started yet, but l/ara c/roft and t/omb r/aider in general were essentially the second half of my childhood outside of po/kemon lol. but Lara is definitely a possibility. i'm also stll trying to collect and read through her novelizations of RE, bc I have a lot of res chars i'd wanna add, but i wanna have more feeling for besides just the games yknow?

if ever given the chance, i'd love to bring back my s/tardew v/alley characters too! they're obvs not horror themed but yknow-- i'm love them. i'm sure someone will be likened too when i finally get the quarry i jsut havent gotten there yet lmao, and i may try to get through S/tranger T/hings again so I can add max, but specifically for Tinker so she probably wouldn't be public. (tbh, i probably can get what i need from watching clips on yt but anyways)
