Definitely acts of service or gifts. As much as I love my physically affectionate Yaoshi, I see them as someone to just shower you in gifts and love. And let me tell you - those gifts have range. You could get either the most beautiful bouquet (or garden/planet because let's be real, Yaoshi wouldn't settle for just a bouquet) made up of the finest specimen from across the universe, or you could open your door to the freakiest chimera that looks like it was one of God's deleted drafts. With acts of service, Yaoshi doesn't want you to be sad !!! They're actually insufferable BYE I just know they're musing about every little detail about you to anyone who would listen. Their Emanators and Denizens have never seen you, and yet they know everything about you. Basically, they turn into a less loud, yet somehow even more poetic version of Argenti. You'd slowly notice the effects of their blessings around you as you go on with your life: Flowers and vegetation bloom wherever you go, your injuries heal so fast that you could've convinced yourself they didn't exist, and sickness no longer finds you. Gradually, your world turns into a paradise, and when you inevitably meet the Aeon responsible for it all, they welcome you with open arms.

10. How good at cuddling is Yaoshi?

THEY'RE BOTH SO GOOD AND SO BAD AT IT AT THE SAME TIME ITS LOWKEY IMPRESSIVE. Yaoshi has wayyy too many arms for their own good, but that just means they have all the more to hug you with !! The only problem is that. Well. Those arms have nails. And said nails are sharped to an unreasonable degree, and sometimes Yaoshi forgets about them and they'll accidentally scratch you when they're trying to pet you. But they're warm and make quite the pillow if you just ignore that part, and they'll hum you a little song while they hold you <33 or just talk to you about the mortals that've caught their eye, or what their followers have gotten up to. Yaoshi has a beautiful voice, by the way, gentle yet rich and leaning on the deeper side, and just listening to them is enough to lull you to sleep.

Quill is someone you often use as a source of support, his naturally comforting personality acting like a magnet for you and those around him. 

You would subconsciously seek him out for refuge during those moments when it all felt like too much, and sometimes, you didn't even realise just how much you gravitated towards him.

Even with sleep, he was still someone you relied on - just knowing he was there, laid next to you, was usually enough to steady your mind. 

But sometimes, the feel of his body beside you wasn't enough to keep you asleep. You'd often jitter and jolt and toss during your nights of slumber, past memories coming back to haunt you in the form of nightmares - all of it keeping you from resting peacefully. 

They were manageable for a while until very recently, when you'd essentially thrash yourself awake. Peter, your boyfriend, would be awake before you - the movement of you beside him coaxing himself out of sleep. 

But tonight was the worst one you've had for a while. It felt like you were stuck in your nightmare and unable to wake up - the feel of it all too heavy and daunting. 

Unbeknownst to you, Quill was trying to help, sat beside you, calling your name and gently shaking your arm, trying to force you awake. Your head jolts abruptly, and you finally wake - fear all over your face as you pat the bed to find Peter.

He calls your name once more, his voice soft and soothing - trying to help you locate him. "It's okay," he coos, adjusting to lay back down beside you, facing you. “It’s okay, honey.”

"It was horrible," you mumble tearfully, shaking your head. "It..."

"It seemed horrible," he comforts, bringing his hand to rest on the side of your face, palm large and warm as he thumbs over your cheek. "Was it the same one?" 

You hum softly, closing your eyes from the warm touch of your lover. 

"Do you want to talk about it?" he asks faintly.

You shake your head 'no'.

He hums quietly, understanding you.

He scooches in closer and slips his arm under your head, propping you up so he can pull you into him. You curl into his side, head resting on his bicep - burying your face into his chest like you were hiding, using him as protection almost.

He wraps his other arm over you, bringing you closer so he's cradling you - like he's trying to keep you safe. 

"I'll stay up. I'll keep you safe, you get some sleep," Peter murmurs, pressing a kiss into your forehead as he grips you tighter.

The comforting smell of his chest and the warm touch of his hands slowly eases you back into sleep - the steady circles Quill drew on your back act as a distraction from your mind, swarmed within a blanket of security.

oooh tough… going on 5 years of obsession now and it hasn’t stopped or dimmed for a single millisecond… though i haven’t done a reread in a minute, so perhaps i’ll say that distance from canon helps overcome/forget the absolute paralyzing pain and agony and tragedy of it all… TSC undid that tho. completely shattered me and had me ugly sobbing on the floor. i did recover quicker than when i first read AFTG, so perhaps what changed is me and the years of maturity? 🥹 yuck.

I think it was predictable that I’m gonna say Prince Naveen for Robaire, but damn, both are irresistible. First we see him as lazy, selfish, etc etc, which could be someone’s first impression of him. By the end though, he’s allat charismatic, clever, sociable and huge lover-boy we all need. Bbg 10/10 would recommend.

Jesse as Prince Charming. This could be predictable too, but hear me out. First, we don’t really see much character development, but, to be honest, he doesn't really need to have one. My guy already seems perfect, and he really lives up for the name Prince Charming. He’s caring, warm, selfless, and obviously, charming?! Yep. Also, the whole Cinderella story fits him too. From a glass slipper, doing allat just to find that girl. And when he found out that the girl of his dreams wasn’t a big person, did he lost interest? Absolutely not, his heart eyes were too big to see anything else except her. Grr.

Aaron Z. as Li Shang. Be honest with me, didn’t you have a crush on both of them when you saw them on screen for the first time? That’s what I’m talking about. He's confident, he's capable, and god he’s a man. That’s all I have to say, thank you for coming.

Tae Young as Frozen’s Kristoff. Truly a sweetheart. He's kind and selfless. First, because I couldn’t think of anybody who fit Tae the most, second, at first sight you’d think he’s quiet, but once Anna gets to know him, she realizes that he's sensitive and quirky, too. He’s also loyal and committed to the people he loves, also let’s not forget his line what I already made a post about, the “I could kiss you! I- I mean I’d like to, I- May I?” Or idfk how did it go but u get me🤭

And Aaron T. as Aladdin. He’s charming, has a lot of energy, plus an irresistible sense of spontaneity. Who wouldn’t be head over heels for this guy? He's alert and outspoken and doesn’t care about appearing bold and cheeky. Adventurous, enthusiastic, fun to be around?! Aladdin is the guy who I ended up choosing for Aaron T., tho it almost ended up as Flynn Rider😍

•Confidence. He is very confident himself so, he honestly would be star struck if his partner was also confident, even just a little bit. It doesnt have to be confidence about your appearance just ANYTHING. A hobby, a collection, a friend, your boundaries, etc.

B - body - what is their favorite part of your body?

•Your eyes, he probably gets distracted by your eyes when hes fighting and gets hit.

C - cuddles - do they like to cuddle?

• At first he wouldn't because he would be scared his robotic arm would make you uncomfortable but once you reassure him, he warms up to it and loves to cuddle (would rather die than ask you to cuddle though, straight up drags you with him and cuddles you )

•Ok, bbg is VERY emontally gentle, istg he will do anything for you, no questions asked as long as he gets a kiss or a hug as a reward. and physically? ok so he TRYS to be super gentle but because hes so strong and all that jazz, he might accidentally hurt you

H - honest - do they hide things from their s/o?

•ok he 100% shares almost everything with you, but,if you ask him if you look good in smth and he doesnt think so, he will be SWEATING."o-oh u-uhm! i-its...?" he wont give you a direct answer. but besides that, he wont keep secrets unless its for your own good. Also he wont give to many details about his past untill hes more comfy with you.

•Dont quote me on this but, he quite literality thinks Aphrodite (or Idrila?) came down and personally blessed you, hes very confident so he probs gets jealous like mediocrely fast but doesn't let it show until the person is like CLEARLY. hitting on you because he doesn't wanna be overbearing

K - kiss - where do they like to be kissed,where do they like to kiss you,what is kissing them like?

•he loves to be kissed on his nose OR knuckles, i cant explain why,also kiss his robotic hand and he will FOLD. likes to kiss right underneath your eye and your forehead because hes pure like that. hes probably not that experienced in kissing you so you might have to guide him but,hes like so confident when hes kissing you, you forget if he does smth wrong. will ask for kisses without shame.

L - little ones - how are they w/ kids?

•Hes fucking amazing with kids,tells them storys, feeds them, helps them, like hes amazing with them but doesnt want to feel tied down with a family so he visits the moles a lot.

M - memory - whats their fav memory of you?

•one time you needed to burn off some steam and he suggested that you could spar with him, with a little bit of convincing, you agreed and something about seeing you sweating and moving around in the dimly lit room just like made him feel butterflys, no i cant explain why.

N - nicknames - what do they call their s/o?

•alrighty, he would call you like weird nicknames as a joke to embarrass you, but fr? he uses "love" for a pet name

O - open - how long does it take for them to open up to you?

• About his past? depends. He doesnt really keep his past a huge secret but he 100% wont bring it up unless you ask because he finds opening up to be awkward and a sign of weakness (unless its someone else venting, then its fine just not him.)

P - patience - how quickly are they annoyed?

•Doesnt get annoyed fast because he quite literately spends his whole life training and then still fails sometimes, so hes very patient, and when his patience runs thin, either he is not aware and might snap at you, or hes very aware and runs away to avoid snapping at you

•Forgets his own age but he does remember the important things about you like your birthday, favorite candy, color, etc!

R - rainy day - what do they like to do on rainy days?

•he loves to take you outside and find worms, stomp in puddles, pull pranks on random people, etc. You gotta remeber hes still a kid (17) also if you get a cold the next day, hes apologizing like his life depends on it

•he knows you can protect yourself because he has probably taught you some self defense moves, but if hes there and some person is like trying to touch or or assault you, lets just say its a gorey sight<3

•Everything and nothing, he shares all the gossip with you. also, bring up the topic of insects and suddenly hes reciting to you a whole ass book about them

U - ugly - what is a red flag of theirs?

•After a fight,he will just shower you in praises and everything to try and get you to stop being mad,now you might think "oh this isnt that bad!!!" to which your right in some degree BUT it’s a little manipulative core

•Considering hes a champion of Belobog, he is pretty concerned about his looks, he LOVES when you compliment him, will never forget it.
