“Grandmother is visiting,” Damian suddenly said with no warning and with his usual not-quite demanding tone. 

“Who?” Tim wasn’t the only one to startle, seeing as Bruce had practically froze, a downturn to his lips in a silent show of confusion. 

Damian scowled. “Are you deaf Drake? Grandmother is coming to Gotham to, quote, make sure I am being properly cared for.” None of them had known that Ras was with anyone actually. At least Tim was pretty sure that would have been in the files. 

“Oh?” Dick didn’t quite crouch to Damian’s height but it was a near thing. “She-” “He,” Damian corrected, interrupting him. They all exchanged a glance before Dick continued. 

“Is he coming to the Manor or…” 

Damian scoffed again, a tiny bit of a flush against his face. “No, Grandmother will most likely be staying with Akhi-”

oh last episode when phum offered his home and his own safe space to peem to use whenever he needed comfort? and then this episode when phum had a fight with his family and immediately sought out peem’s home for comfort? and then to make phum feel better, peem brought him to the sea—the place that always calms peem down and makes him happy?

and when fang, feeling guilty about not being able to help phum, looked to tan for help? tan who assured fang that he has done his best and doesn’t have to take all of the responsibility for taking care of phum? tan who pointed out that phum has peem now, in the same way that fang has tan? fang who realized through his boyfriend’s love that your family doesn’t have to be your safe space and love can be found and grown with other people too?

phum and fang, two brothers who only ever had each other to lean on and trust for years, finally getting to experience not only being loved and cared for by other people themselves, but also getting to watch each other finally find happiness and peace.

Hear me out, DP and DC crossover where Scarecrow is cousins with the Fentons. 

 His mother was siblings with Jack’s father, and both Jazz and Danny met ‘Uncle Jonathan’ during one of the many Fenton-Nightingale family reunions that happens every few years. Honestly, perhaps it’s what gets Jazz interested in psychology, hearing from her ‘uncle’ about fear and its effects.

 And honestly once they start having to deal with ghosts and having had to deal with their parents for years it’s not really hard to talk with their uncle. Crane still doesn’t know how he became these kids’ favorite uncle, or even all of the family kids’ favorite uncle-cousin, but that’s just how the family is. 

 Really he’s not even the only villain of the family, with both Jack and Maddie being close but not quite, even if they’re definitely mad scientists. Their son becoming a local hero, even if they’re not aware of that fact, is just ironic. 

 John knows. The two kids told him when they found out that Danny may or may not need to feed on fear now that he’s half ghost, and well he’s the specialist about the emotion so…

 At least they have someone to stay with when Jazz goes to Gotham university and brings Danny with her, even if the local vigilantes are concerned as to why Scarecrow attacks have suddenly took a nosedive…

alphonse mucha paraphrase

mucha’s is partially about cultural pride, which i found to be fitting for rin. rin had to represent a culture she never knew, she never had any connections to speer outside of what altan told her, what she was showed through the phoenix, and through text books (which were horrendously racist for sure), which gave her a very limited understanding of speer and speerly culture. yet, despite not knowing speerly culture, she became its face. so in my paraphrase she’s wearing a hanfu (traditional chinese clothing = nikara) instead of the clothing that tearza is wearing in the background (inspired by traditional taiwanese clothing = speerly) to simply show her discontent from the culture she’s supposed to represent. this is also why the necklace she is wearing is breaking.
