me: yknow what, i dont need canon, ill use my own ideas
also me: loops said ideas back around to tie neatly into canon so that its like nothing was changed at all
#misc tag#endlessly screaming into the void#ettie jurard#i debated between keeping her as a vestige or keeping on with the avatar of stendarr thing#and then decided 'why not both'#so as in the prologue she was sacrificed and is doing her whole hero thing without her proper soul#and will probably go through the rest of the main questline as intended#but now the reasoning for her doing that is tied to her being specifically chosen by stendarr to sort of be his hand in the world#(bc while the divines cant have as direct an influence on nirn as the princes i dont see why they cant work through middlemen)#(... i might actually make a handful of minor characters to fill in the world as emissaries of other divines in a similar fashion)#(not all would be as paladin-y as ettie. stendarrs laws just lend themselves very well to that archetype)
