i love the both of you and yes this but it's edgrunners and we all cry
We should 100% normalize saying "I love you" to friends in a platonic, non romantic way. Yes, I love my bestie with all my heart. Does that mean I want to do stuff that you'd normally find in a ao3 stuff with the tag "AJAOFHEIS SMUT" in it? NO!
I WANNA CUDDLE IN A BLANKET FORT WHILE BINGE WATCHING THE OWL HOUSE, NOT MAKE OUT!
Just cuz someone loves someone who isn't related by blood, doesn't mean that it's romantic
Annnnnd I went off on a tangent :/

Cuddling sounds so good right now
Tumblr media
Pairing - Joost Klein x Fem!Reader
Summary - After enjoying some drinks at a girls' night out, you made a silly joke thru the phone, and Joost ended up picking you up. He helped you get ready for bed. Right before going to sleep, you demanded a cuddle session.
Genre - pure fluff
▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄
While seated at the table with my girlies, enjoying drinks consequence-free, the alcohol intake began to resemble "prank calling my boyfriend." My closest friend sat beside me, not as intoxicated. Leaning towards her, I quietly disclosed the entire scheme. Despite her laughter and disapproving nod, I proceeded. I reached for my phone, scrolled through the contacts to find my boyfriend's name, and tapped to call him.
“Hey schat. (Hey babe.)” My boyfriend’s voice came through my speaker.
"Hello, this is Y/n L/n speaking. Are you interested in purchasing a fridge?" I inquired, then muted myself while erupting into laughter with my girls. It was a silly and bland joke, but the drinks made it appear amusing.
"Y/n?-" is the last thing I heard before hanging up. After a while, I received a text saying: 'I'll come pick you up in 30.' I showed the messages to my best friend, and she suggested taking advantage of those 30 minutes to grab more drinks.
We celebrated, sipped, danced , and simply relished the moment until one of friends approached me to inform me that my boyfriend was waiting outside for me. I collected my belongings and attempted to walk steadily and appear clear-headed, but ultimately I stumbled and tumbled right into my boyfriend's embrace.
"Haha, you're so strong," I slurred while reaching out to his biceps. He chuckled and kindly took my bag from me, assisting me to his car.
"Babe, I adore youuu…" I murmur while playing with his hair as he secures my seatbelt. Then plants a kiss on my forehead and shuts the car door. He then settles into the driver's seat and starts the car. I was chatting the whole journey with Joost, and he didn't seem bothered. He simply listened and conversed with me as if I were clear-headed. After a while, we reached our residence. He turned to me, assisted in unfastening the seatbelt, and stepped out of the car. Guiding me out of it, he lifts me up in a bridal style carry as we enter our home. He places me gently by a nearby chair, removes my shoes. I let out a yawn, resting my head on the kitchen table, nearly dozing off. I heard the water running in the bathroom, assuming Joost was showering, but he emerged, lifted me, and escorted me to the bathroom.
"Are you able to bathe independently?" He inquires. And I simply nodded in response.
"Sure thing, just give a shout if you need a hand, I'll be waiting outside," he assured me, planting a kiss on top of my nose. I hugged him from behind as he was leaving. We stood there quietly for a moment until I let go, and he walked out. After relaxing in the bath, I wrapped myself in towels and left the bathroom.
"I'm so hungry, babe..." I tell him as he smiles at me. He looks really cute at this moment. His hair is all messy, falling over his eyes. I go up on my toes to kiss him quickly on the lips. He kisses me back, and I don't want it to end. He holds me by my waist, kissing me until he lifts me up and takes me to the bathroom, placing me on the edge of the bathtub.
"What are you up to?" I ask as he starts to open the cupboard, removing all my skincare items.
"You'll appreciate it tomorrow, darling," he mentions as he crouches down to begin my skincare routine. I couldn't help but admire how adorable he looked and occasionally run my fingers through his hair while he finished.
He took my hand and guided me to our bedroom, gently placing me on the bed before heading to the wardrobe. Returning with fresh pajamas, he assisted me in changing. After laying me down, he mentioned he'd be back shortly. Moments later, he emerged from the shower, finding me gazing out the window. He approached, embracing me from behind.
“Gaan we al slapen schat? (Are we going to sleep darling?)” He inquired while planting a peck on my cheek, and I simply acknowledged. I reclined beside him. Subsequently, a hush fell between us.
"Joost," I initiate, and I could perceive him pivoting.
"Yeah, princess?" He inquires, and I simply grin at the endearing nickname.
"Can we cuddle, pretty please?" I inquire, drawing nearer to him as a gesture.
I sensed his hand encircling my waist, followed by a kiss on my shoulder. A content smile graced my lips as I drifted into slumber, comforted by the presence of my exceptional partner beside me. I consider myself truly fortunate.
A/n - HI BABES!!!! Sorry that this one shot was so short 💔 I have a bunch of assignments to tackle tomorrow, so I might not be able to share anything. However, I have a one shot request about Baby Lasagna, so I'll likely dedicate some time to it tomorrow, and you can anticipate the one-shot to be up on Friday! I've also got an idea for the third part of my tale involving Joost. So stay tuned for updates! 🩷🩷🩷🩷

Argument - Alessia Russo x Reader
Summary: You spend a day getting ignored by your girlfriend until she realises...
1.3k words
"Babe!" I heard Less call from the bedroom and I paused my show to go and check on her. She was standing in our room, holding her hairspray in her hand.
"Yeah?"
"Have you been using my hairspray?" she asked
"No, why?"
"Are you sure?"
"Very sure, yeah, Less you know I don't ever really use hairspray, and I would ask you anyway,"
"I don't remember finishing it, that's all,"
I had the feeling she didn't really believe me, but I genuinely hadn't touched her hairspray, so I guessed she'd just forget it eventually.
"Okay, you wanna come watch a film together?"
"I might join you in a little bit,"
I went back down to the tv, expecting Less to join me at some point, but she never did. I could hear her rummaging around the bathroom and bedroom, opening all the cupboards and going through the drawers.
I would usually have helped her find for what she was looing for, but my muscles were aching at the moment after a particularly hard workout this morning.
Eventually, Less came backdown stairs and grabbed sat in the kitchen to eat something. I felt like I hadn't seen her much today, so I went and joined her.
I wrapped my arms around her shoulders, kissing her cheek as I hugged me. To my genuine surprise, she drew away from me.
"I'm trying to eat," she muttered, her voice flat, sounding annoyed.
"Sorry," I apologised sheepishly, and backed off, deciding to get something to eat as well seeing as it was almost dinner time, "are you going somewhere?" I asked, noticing she was wearing her nice perfume and a little more makeup than normal
"Yeah, I'm going round to Tooney's, I'm leaving in like an hour,"
"Were you going to tell me?" I asked, feeling a little out of the loop and dejected.
"At some point, yeah course,"
"I can give you a lift-"
"No, that's fine Ella said she'd come get me,"
"Alright then, have fun,"
I put my salad together, and sat down next to her, expecting a conversation to start soon after like it normally did. Something felt a little off, a little cold. I took my salad and finished it in front of the tv.
She went out soon after that, she didn't say goodbye to me or anything. No goodbye kiss or hug like normal. The house felt so empty after she'd gone, so quiet.
I got restless sitting on the sofa, and decided to go on a walk. I went upstairs to grab a jacket. I slid on one of Lessi's jackets, and was about to leave the bedroom when the bin caught my eye. I stared at the empty hairspray can in the bin, remembering the conversation we'd had earlier.
Is that why she was being weird? She thought I'd used her hairspray?
Anger and hurt stung my insides. There's no way she thought I'd just lie to her face like that, right?
I pulled her jacket off, hanging it back up in the wardrobe and grabbed one of my own.
I didn't want to give her another reason to ice me out.
I expected the walk to clear my head, but my emotions just sort of multiplied. I was hurt that she'd been so cold, and I was angry that she hadn't believed me. I mean, she didn't even talk to me about it, she just ran off to Ella.
I wondered if she was talking to Ella about it now, telling her I'd lied to her face. I tried to push away the anger, begging some more understanding feelings to take over, but I couldn't seem to manage to understand her.
I got back home about half an hour later, mind fogged. I tried to forget it, and instead texted Less asking what time she'd be home.
Me: any idea what time you'll be back? Should I wait up?
I took a while for her to reply, but an hour later she texted back
Less: not after midnight - dont wait up
I watched to clock tick over to midnight, no Less. I watched as the time turned 1, no Less. I wanted to text, to make sure she was alright, but I knew she was. Either she'd lost track of the time, or she wasn't planning on coming back anytime soon. There was no text saying she'd be out later than expected, which she'd normally do even before she was due to get back.
I could text Tooney, but I figured I was a hot topic for them today, and just couldn't be bothered. I sighed, and just got into bed and tried to sleep.
The next morning, she still wasn't back. I couldn't really focus on my day, couldn't really be bothered to get out of bed or get changed, but I wasn't about to ruin my mood just because my girlfriend couldn't trust me not to use her hairspray.
I texted Leah, hoping she was free.
Me: ru free today I need a reason to get up cl
Leah: sure, shopping?
Me: perf, I'll pick u up in an hr
I forced myself out of bed, and into a cute outfit. I did some light makeup and had a cereal bar before leaving to house.
I got back before Less did, which hurt a little bit, but I just decided to do some baking or something to keep myself busy.
Less got back as I was sifted in the flour. She didn't call out a hello like she normally would. I left the baking and went to see her.
"I didn't realise when you said midnight you meant the next day," I muttered to her, watching her untie her laces
"Sorry, we had a bit to drink and lost track of time, Tooney said I could stay over and I didn't think you'd want to deal with me drunk,"
"A text would've been nice. I was worried,"
I hadn't been worried, I knew she was blanking me, but she didn't have to know that.
"Well, I told you not to wait up,"
"Alright," I answered, going back to my cookies
She followed me into the kitchen a few moments later, and I saw her stop short at the shopping on the side. I knew what she'd seen. I didn't look at her, instead focusing on my cookies as she processed it.
I scooped them onto a baking tray, and turned around, jumping back when she was right behind me, a new can of hairspray in her hands.
"You- you bought me a new one?"
"Well yeah," I shrugged, "I was out anyway and you mentioned you ran out, so I grabbed another can,"
I tried to walk away, put she took my hand and pulled me back, wrapping her arms around my shoulders, hugging me tightly.
It took me a second to process the action, but once she'd nestled her head into the crook of my neck, I returned the hug, my arms snaking around her waist.
I relaxed into the hug, pulling her closer and breathing into her gently. The familiar feeling washed over me, and a smile tugged at my lips.
"I was such a bitch," she mumbled into the hug, "I'm sorry,"
I pulled away, and pressed a kiss into her cheek.
"It's okay," I mumbled
She shook her head.
"I knew you were telling the truth, I just-"
"It's okay, really,"
It was a bit of a lie, but I could tell she was really hating herself for it, so I nodded reassuringly.
"You're too perfect for me,"
I chuckled softly.
"That might be true,"
She hit my arm softly, a small smile on her face.
"I buy you hairspray and you hit me, wow I feel appreciated,"
"Oh shut up. Can we have the rest of the day in? I fancy watching that film now,"
I nodded, "course Less,"

Tumblr media
Today, Namjoon has planned a little date to one of his favorite places, the Seoul Botanic Park. It's been on your list, and he must have remembered you talking about it. You thought it was sweet how much he listened to you ramble about the most random things. Honestly, it was a problem - you rambling, not him listening. He would bring you your favorite flowers or chocolate; you couldn't remember when you told him these things.
"Namjoon, these are beautiful," you said when he handed you a bouquet of sunflowers. You gestured for him to come in and then stupidly stepped forward, wanting to kiss him on the cheek, but he didn't even notice and brushed past you. So, you smiled and faked not being upset at his hot, clueless self.
You weren't sure what the issue was. The pair of you had great chemistry, at least you thought so, and had a lot in common. It felt as though you were on a reality dating show where the girl is super into the guy, but when in reality, he wasn't. Did it irk you a bit? Yes, because all you wanted was to climb him like a giant tree.
"Have I dressed appropriately for this occasion?" You looked down at your blue floral sundress compared to Namjoon's casual yellow sweatsuit and beanie.
He eyed you from head to toe, making your cheeks warm up. "Nah–you're perfect," he smiled, showing off one of your many Kim Namjoon weaknesses - his dimples.
"Lemme just put these in water, and then we'll go." Quickly, you ran into the kitchen, trying to find a vase to fill up. While opening the cupboard, you realized how short your dress was from the back, considering it was riding up as you reached up for the vase.
Namjoon cleared his throat, trying not to become aroused after seeing a sliver of your cheeky backside. "Here, I can get that for you."
Tumblr media
The botanic garden was perfect - the atmosphere, the views, Namjoon. He held your hand the entire way, leading you through the conservatory. You caught stolen glances from him when you would squint to look at the information card for each plant, making a checklist of the ones you liked.
"What? Is there something on my face?" You asked, quickly reaching into your purse to grab your compact.
"No, I just–want to look at you," Namjoon said with his dimpled smile. He held his hand out, waiting for yours. You set your compact back in your purse before intertwining your hands with his. You quite liked how perfectly your hands fit into Namjoon's big warm ones. He happily swung your arm with his, wandering into the next part of the garden.
Your favorite part was the plant cafe. If you lived closer, you'd be there every day. Though you'd have to keep Namjoon's credit card because, knowing him, he'd come home with a new plant every time.
While at the cafe, you thought you'd test out a theory to see if Namjoon was physically trying to avoid you. Stupid, yes, but you needed confirmation.
He returned with the iced Americanos in hand, and you may or may not have accidentally tipped yours onto yourself to see if he'd help you clean it up. The most he did was hand you some napkins, with no intention of helping you dampen the coffee stains away. Sigh.
On the subway ride back, the work rush hour had begun, meaning everyone was packed like sardines. The good part about it was you were being smushed into Namjoon's big frame, unintentionally, of course. Still, Namjoon, being the gentleman he is, wiggled away from your ass as others began to crowd around you. Even a subway full of people couldn’t make this man crack under pressure; he'd always find a way to avoid accidentally touching you.
Tumblr media
Namjoon did everything right by the book, and you shouldn't complain, considering your ex-boyfriend was a jerk. You should be glad that Namjoon was courteous, which was hard to come by these days.
"Hey, are you okay? I feel like you've been pretty quiet during this date. Did I do something wrong?" Namjoon asked with furrowed brows, taking a seat in one of your dining room chairs.
Yes and no, you thought to yourself. You wanted Namjoon to kiss you finally. Maybe be a little rough and passionate, get a little handsy, touch you like he wanted you–but here you were, twelve dates later, and the most you've done is hug and hold hands. You loved those things, and Namjoon has been a complete gentleman, but you were tired of waiting for him to make the next move.
"Do you find me attractive?" You asked, suddenly being bold in your approach to this gentle giant, leaning against the back of the couch, facing him.
Your question surprised him, causing him to blush and rub the back of his neck. "Of course I do. Why do you ask?"
"No reason," you mumbled, looking away from his gaze. Maybe Namjoon just wasn't sexually attracted to you, but why would he continue to go on dates with you if he wasn't or didn't see a future with you? You were confused and annoyed but didn't want to ruin the nice day the two of you were having.
Namjoon could see your frustration, so he extended his hand to you, and you took it because you wanted to feel needed. You slotted yourself between his legs, feeling embarrassed for being so bold. Maybe he needed to go at a slower pace. Have you ever thought about that?
He flashed a thin smile, softly brushing the back of your hand, "I like you. I do…I just…want to be mindful of giving you space."
His remark took you aback, "Wait, why?"
"Well…I remember you talking about your ex. And how he didn't treat you right, so…I just wanted to be careful not to do the same thing," Namjoon clarified, gazing into your eyes, waiting for you to say something.
Fuck. Was it too early to say you love this man already?
Your heart completely melted like butter. Namjoon was so sweet, and here you were, wanting him to touch you like the horny little slut that you are. He was waiting for you to initiate and feel safe around him. Namjoon was nothing like your ex-boyfriend, the complete opposite; he was everything you could want.
"Is that why you haven't kissed me yet? And have been avoiding physical contact?" It was almost a relief to hear him say that, so you weren't going crazy, and he probably is attracted to you.
His facial expression said yes. "I'm sorry, but I just didn't want to mess this up because I really like you."
You snaked your arms around his neck, pulling yourself closer, eliminating the distance. You leaned down, nudging your nose with his.
"Can I kiss you?" Namjoon whispered, eyes darting between yours. His lips were so close, yet so far, enough to make your stomach somersault.
And you answered by pressing your lips against his. The kiss was tender and sweet, the two of you taking your time to explore one another for a minute or two, hands in each other's hair, pulling and tugging. Namjoon hesitated to wrap his arms around your waist, but you encouraged him.
To your surprise, Namjoon swiped his tongue at your bottom lip, begging to enter your mouth, and you let him, his tongue finally having a taste of yours. He cupped your face as he stood, slightly pulling away from your lips but quickly reconnecting. He didn't want to be away from them for too long.
Namjoon smiled into the kiss, letting out a low chuckle before asking, "Can I touch you?"
Who knew such a simple question would cause you to clench around nothing? Unwrapping your arms, you took Namjoon's hands, bringing one to massage your breasts, and then, taking the other, trailing down to your navel, reaching under your floral dress to your clothed heat, which was already stained with your arousal. You whimpered his name when he rubbed his digits in circles against your clit.
He tilted his head. "Baby…you're so wet for me already?"
Shamelessly nodding at his question. You looked at him with darkened eyes, "You don't need to be gentle with me, Joonie." His eyes fluttered shut, groaning at your words, causing his erection to twitch in his yellow sweats. "But first, can I touch you?" Your eyes wandered to the evident erection.
He hummed a yes, and that's all you needed before dropping to your knees. Your manicured fingers are at the elastic hem, ready to pull down his sweats and find out what's been hiding underneath these twelve dates. You shimmied his boxers and pants, keeping your eyes on the prize–and a giant prize it was. Your mouth was slightly watering, ready to take on this challenge.
Namjoon glanced at you, thinking you looked so pretty on your knees for him. He didn't want to rush anything and was fine with taking it slow, but he wanted this too. He gently moved a piece of hair out of your face, caressing your cheek. "You okay, pretty?" He asked, as his heart was pounding, blood rushing to the girthy length staring you in the face.
You assured him by placing your hand around the base of his cock, causing him to grunt and jerk forward. You put your other hand behind his thigh, tugging him further towards you. He was already leaking pre-cum, and you didn't hesitate to taste it. Namjoon hissed at the slightest touch from your tongue. He couldn't wait until he was entirely inside the warmth of your mouth.
But you didn't take him fully in your mouth, not yet. You wanted to give some attention to his balls first, gently sucking on them while stroking him from the base to the tip. His fingers grazed your scalp, encouraging you to keep going. "Fuck, baby--" Namjoon moaned. And that's when you licked your lips and swirled your tongue around his reddened tip, taking him inch by inch until he hit the back of your throat.
Namjoon panted, chest heaving as you bobbed up and down his cock, your hand around the part you couldn't fit in your mouth. He didn't know how long he would last if you kept going like this.
"Baby-baby-baby--I don't wanna come yet," he pleaded, motioning for you to stand. The colors of your knees matched the tip of his cock. He leaned down to kiss you, tasting himself on your tongue. His hands untie your dress, allowing a complete view of your matching lingerie set. Namjoon's grin in full approval of it. "God, you're so sexy."
He crouched down, hooking his arms underneath your thighs, causing you to yelp. While your legs were straddled around Namjoon's hips, he grasped tightly to hold you in place as he shuffled to the bedroom. Granted, his pants and boxers were still around his ankles, and he was doing his best to maneuver you.
Namjoon, being the cute but clumsy giant he is, stumbled on a pair of shoes at the foot of your bed, unexpectedly throwing you on the bed. You squealed at the sudden jolt against your duvet and pillows. He mumbled an apology. That was not his intention, but you didn't mind—you kind of like being thrown around by him.
Sitting up, you rid yourself of the floral dress and bra, freeing your breasts for Namjoon to see. You decided to keep your panties on–for now. Laying back and propping yourself up on your elbows, you waited for Namjoon to undress. You'd seen his dick, and you wanted to see the rest.
He stood at the edge of the bed, taking every inch of you in, and his shyness began to take over, but seeing you sprawled on the bed in this position, made it quickly dissipate. Namjoon took off his beanie, tossed it on the floor, then lightly ruffled his hat hair.
Growing impatient, you crawled on your knees towards him. He attempted to pull off his yellow sweatshirt, but it became caught on his big 'ol head. The two of you laughed before he finally discarded it along with his shirt.
You sat, feet tucked underneath you, drinking him all in. No one could have guessed that Namjoon was chiseled like a Greek God by his casual, loose clothing. You loved his style, but fuck–you definitely did not want him wearing fitted clothing. He was for your eyes only.
His honey skin glistened beneath what was left of the day's sunlight, his taut pecs ready to be pounded on like he was Tarzan, and god–his abs, you just wanted to run your tongue down every rift and canyon.
"Like what you see?" Namjoon said with a smirk. Your eyes watched as he stroked himself.
You bit your bottom lip, imagining how well he'd fill you up. Shamelessly, you nodded, waiting to see what he’d do next.
Namjoon chuckled, leaning down to place a kiss in the crook of your neck, sucking on your warm skin and continuing to move along to your collarbone and the top of your chest. One hand massaging your breast, causing your nipple to harden - and you’ve decided that you loved having his hands on you. Your body was aching, yearning for him to continue, and he must have read your mind - his other hand pulled down your panties, flinging them to the ground, and gently rubbed circles on your clit, making you gasp at his touch.
Hovering over you, he fully enveloped your breast in his mouth. You arched your back and squirmed underneath, hands threaded through his dark locks, mewling his name along with curses. He unexpectedly pulled away, muffling your moans with more kisses.
Your pussy was already wet, and a mess before Namjoon slipped two fingers into your entrance. An audible whimper escaped when he gathered your juices, spreading it between your folds and pumping his long digits back in. You couldn’t see him with your eyes closed, but he was grinning devilishly at how easily you were unraveling for him. Namjoon pumped his fingers urgently in and out of your cunt, seeing as your twisted expression and little yelps of pleasure assured him that you were close.
“You gonna come for me, baby?” Namjoon asked in a low, husky tone, kissing you again. The knot in your stomach intensely reached its peak, legs unsteady, shaking uncontrollably as your walls clenched around his fingers. He continued pumping in and out of you, riding out your high–your wetness making lewd noises when he finally pulled out of you. He didn’t even have his mouth on you, yet, no other man has made you come so hard by just using their fingers.
You already looked fucked out of your mind, but Namjoon couldn’t resist pushing up your legs so that he could have a taste. “Oh god–just fuck me already!” you covered your mouth when you realized you said your thoughts aloud. “I’m sorry–I just–I didn’t mean to say that out loud for you to hear.”
Namjoon let out a hearty laugh, his eyes taking a crescent shape, causing his dimple to form. "Well, I shouldn't deny my girl what she wants, hmm?" His expression suddenly darkened, dragon eyes now on display, ready to fuck you like he’s wanted to after the first date.
God, he's so sexy, so big, and strong. You just wanted him to do nasty, unspeakable things to you, but that'll come in time.
Namjoon leaned down to kiss you, "Condoms?"
You love a safe king.
Pointing to the nightstand by your bed, Namjoon quickly reached over, pulling out the box, grabbing a foil wrapper, and ripping it open. You watched him closely as he rolled the condom down his length - putting on a condom should not be this sexy. Maybe it was just your pussy doing all the thinking.
He smiled, catching a glimpse of you watching him. "Lay down," he ordered. You did as he asked, legs spread, ready to go. Namjoon crawled towards you, his big frame hovering over you. "You're gorgeous, baby."
Your cheeks warmed up from his compliment. "You know how to make a girl blush right before you fuck her."
Namjoon grinned at your remark. He started stroking himself, placing his cock at your entrance. He looked at you one more time before slowly pushing into your sex, eyes rolling back, mewling at how he stretched you out. When he bottomed out, he leaned forward, propping himself up on his elbows on either side of you, his lips ghosting the shell of your ear. “You’re so fucking tight–I’m not gonna last long.”
You smiled at his comment, nudging your nose against his cheek, pressing a kiss into his jaw, and encouraging him to continue. His strokes were slow and long, hips rolling tenderly in and out of your pussy, making sure you could feel every inch of him. His eyes focused on watching his cock disappear into your body; it was something he could watch forever if he could.
Namjoon started to pick up the pace, grunting and panting heavily while he thrust into you. Pounding into your cunt over and over, easily hitting your g-spot. “Joon–,” you softly repeated his name, but he was too caught up in the moment to realize you were talking to him, so you pulled him down for a kiss. “Joonie–can I?”
He’d been doing all the work so far; you wanted to show him a little love too–you didn’t want to be selfish. You directed him to lay on his back, his big cock sprung in the air, waiting to be swallowed up by your pussy again. To his surprise, you didn’t sit facing him–but rather away from him. Your ass on full display made him groan in pleasure when you sank back down onto him; the view was enough to blow his load.
Plants. He thought about plants to steady his mind.
“Shit–baby–you’re gonna be the death of me.”
You smirked as you began rolling your hips in a merciless rhythm, leaning forward, holding onto his legs so he could get a better view. He muttered a few curse words before grabbing ahold of your hips and thrusting into you from below, causing you to yelp.
As much as Namjoon loved seeing your backside, he'd rather see your pretty face and tits. "Fuck–baby, turn around. I want you to see how hard you make me come," Namjoon commands.
Can Namjoon be any hotter right now?
With a grin, you obey, finding yourself facing him. You could tell he was trying to hold it together, but you knew he'd come the second you sat back down on him.
Your hands pressed against his pecs as you aligned your entrance with his cock. A breath hitched in your throat as he stretched you out again, the pressure in his belly building to its peak. His hands grasped at your waist as he thrust into you from below like before. Namjoon bit his bottom lip; he really loved watching his cock disappear in and out of you.
His heart was pounding underneath your hand, and his quick, breathy grunts informed you he was close. You decided it was time to help by pushing against his thrusts. The two of you are in a frantic state of chasing his climax.
Namjoon’s groans were growing louder, as were the sounds of your bodies smacking against one another. He began to lose his composure, the muscles in his lower abdomen tightening every second, finally building to have its sweet release.
But what really pushed him over the edge was when you straightened up, one hand on his abdomen and the other massaging his balls.
“Fuck–” Namjoon cried out, throwing his head back further into the bed. The shockwaves of his orgasm made him writhe under you, and his expression twisted in pleasure as you milked everything that he had.
When he finally returned to reality, he flashed the biggest grin you’d seen. “That good, huh?” You teased, leaning down to kiss him.
“I have no idea why I waited so long to do this,” he said, removing a stray hair away from your face.

- after a while baji saw there was ten more minutes before recess was over but he haven't seen you yet so he walked down the halls to your class
- he heard some whimpering coming from your class and tried to open the door but the door was locked
- he intended to shrugged the whimpering when he couldn't hear any voices anymore until he heard a voice. your voice.
- baji didn't even hesitate to kick down the door and saw two of the seniors cornering you, while you were crying and holding a thin broom stick
- baji lunged himself on the guys, making a mess of the chairs and tables there while you try to calm him down but baji was ruthless with his punches
- it wasn't until ryusei held back baji that he calmed down a little, now looking at the two seniors bloody on the floor
- the teacher came and the two of you got released early (baji due to some injuries)
- "im sorry keisuke, i couldn't reach you"

- you were wearing earbuds to concentrate more on your breathing and the music blasted through your ears too so you weren't aware of your surroundings
- there was this person behind you, they weren't too close but close enough to see you weren't paying attention towards your surroundings so they took out their phone
- after glancing around to make sure the coast is clear, they took photos of your sweating thighs and clicking sounds were heard
- they moved to take pictures of your chest too until their wrist were restrained
- "enjoying your time prick? delete those pictures"
- "wakasa? im sorry it's just-"
- "shut the fuck up and delete those pictures"
- the person hurriedly deleted the lewd photos but wakasa wasn't content in case there were backup files so he took the phone and took out the battery and memory card
- he tossed the empty phone and sent a glare to the person while approaching you
- "oh waka kun?! you're back?"
- "yes honey, how about we take a break and have some tea yeah?"
izana kukorawa

- after a while kakucho came to fetch you and escorted you inside the meeting room where you saw izana at the table
- "im sorry i couldn't come and get you love, i was busy" he said, looking up from his paperwork
- "oh it's okay izana, continue your meeting and i'll sort out these snacks at the table how do think about that?"
- "oh the members would like that so much love, thankyou" izana continued his work and soon the meeting started
- you have packed a lot of desserts because izana's members loves sweet stuff so you took some plates from the cupboard and stack the desserts on them
- you took out the plates and placed them on the table, in front of each member
- you were happy with their reactions because each one of them gobbled the dessert quickly and smiled a lot
- that was until one particular member slapped your butt, him laughing afterwards
- "your desserts are so sweet, i wonder does that ass taste the same huh?"
- the room fell silent as your face was clearly horrified but it couldn't match your boyfriend's face
- "say that again?" he said while slowly pushing his chair
- "what? what's wrong?"
- a chair flew at his direction, knocking him out
- "say that again at my partner, punk. i'll murder you" izana said with bloodshot eyes and erratic breathing as if he's controlling his temper
- shion and mucho dragged him outside and did the beatings (kakucho gave them a look to do the work, not trusting izana to do so)
- "love? come here" izana said softly to you
- you approached him and he took off his red jacket and tied it on your waist
- "let's go home" he whispered in your ear, the only person hearing his vulnerable tone was you
takashi mitsuya
- you and mitsuya just fetch his younger siblings from school and now was riding the subway while the two girls were giggling while eating their ice cream
- suddenly the subway got a little packed so you had to stand a bit further from your boyfriend and his siblings to give space to the new people who entered
- mitsuya gestured you to sit at his seat but you refused, luna and mana were sitting in his lap because there were way too many people
- you were standing about three steps away from them when a man came behind you
- the man nearly sniffed your neck at how close he was but distanced away from him
- you didn't mind it because you thought he did it by accident
- "oniichan, the creepy guy is looking at y/n's skirt. isn't that bad?" little luna said, remembering what his brother used to teach her that people seeing under her skirt is bad
- "that's right luna, can you sit here and be good girl while i see y/n?" mitsuya let the two siblings occupied the seat while he walked to you and the man
- "so? what's with the phone?" mitsuya asked the man behind you. he hid it in time that you couldn't see it but mitsuya saw it
- "what phone?"
- "c'mon i saw that. how about you delete those pictures and i'll forgive you"
- "what's got you so riled up who're you her girlfriend?" the man asked
- "yeah im her girlfriend. can you delete those pictures now while im nicely asking?"
- the man ignored mitsuya and mitsuya was enraged but he didn't wanted to lose it because his sister's were there
- he quickly snatched the phone in the man's right pocket and went to the window and guess what he did?
- yup he threw it out the window, out from a moving subway
- "you fucker! my phone!"
- "i asked nicely and you refused so you give me no choice. oh look at that it's our stop. c'mon mana, luna. y/n?" mitsuya hold your hand and dragged you out from the packed subway
- the man stand there shocked while watching the four of you come out from the subway, mana mockingly stick out her tongue at the man

My Masterlist
**I finally finished chapter two!! I am awful at starting stories I find it difficult to push passes the mundane slow set up portion of fics but, I think I hit a decent point here in this chapter where it started to flow together. It took me way longer than I wanted to finish this one. Hopefully, the length makes up for it and from here on it should get a bit more interesting. Enjoy. (started a tag list at the bottom)
<< PART 1
You and Ghost make your way between houses looking for anything useful. So far you had found a few bottles of water and a bit of food. You secured yourself a pocket-knife but still have yet to find a suitable weapon.
You glance over your shoulders anxiously as Ghost pried a board out of the fence for you to cross through the next yard.
"Go on," he demands.
You don't even stop to think as you slip through the gap. Ghost following closely behind. You pause letting him get in front of you.
You continue through the backyard. A nice suburban area filled with an eerie silence.
Ghost scales the back wall of the house peering through the windows to check if it's clear.
You are lost in thought looking up at the tree house perched in the large oak in the corner of the yard.
Ghost works at opening the sliding glass door. He gets it open and glances your way. He clears his throat gaining your attention once again.
"If you're going to stick with me then keep your mind right."
He scolds. You give a small nod and follow him into the house. Ghost's gun is at the ready as he peers around each corner in a loose stance, ready for anything.
You stand back waiting for his okay like you had the many houses before. You couldn't help feeling like you were walking on eggshells with him.
Ghost re-emerges from the living room letting his gun fall to his side.
"Downstairs is clear. Raid the kitchen, I'll check upstairs."
You follow Ghost's orders heading straight into the kitchen. It is quiet as you search through the cupboards. There were just some plates, and cups in the first few above you so you decided to check the lower ones.
As you were crouched below the sink you heard a shuffling come from behind you.
You suspected it was just Ghost coming back down.
"Anything good?"
You ask still rummaging through a cabinet of cleaning supplies.
There was no answer.
A cold, wet, hand places itself on your shoulder. You turn, faced with the corpse of an old man. His bloodshot eyes and greying skin left your stomach in knots.
You let out a scream falling to the linoleum floor in panic, scrambling back away. You tried to grab the knife from your pocket but had no time before the man lunged forward his weight falling over you. You put your hands up defensively, pushing the man's shoulders back trying to keep him at least an arm's distance away from you.
He snarls, snapping his teeth at you, his limp body squirming over you.
You let out a frustrated cry, using all of your strength to keep the corpse at bay.
Heavy footsteps bolt down the stairs, Ghost, having heard the struggle, comes quickly to your aid. His eyes were dark and focused. He pulls the mall up by the back of his tattered tee-shirt sinking the blade of his knife directly into the corpse's skull.
The old man falls lifeless to the floor. His body hit the ground with a thud.
Your chest heaved as you attempted to calm your panic. Ghost seems irritated.
"Were you Bit?"
He asks. His eyes search your body for any signs of harm. You shake your head.
Ghost seems skeptical about your response for a moment but quickly accepts it.
"This is exactly why I can't keep you around. You're clumsy and unfocused. It's a wonder that you've lasted this long."
The anger is evident in his voice. As harsh as it was Ghost was right, you weren't cut out for survival. You had no skills, no strength, no awareness.
In your mind, you look for an escape from this reality. Which sooner or later will get you killed. You need to learn to stay present and be prepared. Ghost could be the one to teach you that.
"That's why I need us to stick together."
You explain. Ghost shakes his head in pure annoyance.
"Please! I won't make it out here without you. I will do whatever takes, I can do better, I will find a way to be useful."
Ghost can hear the desperation in your plea. Ghost had always been the lone wolf type. Especially throughout these past months.
He shakes his head in frustration giving you no verbal response. Before all this, Ghost made a living saving people, sacrificing for the greater good. Things were different now, so why did he still care so much?
The both of you had continued in silence. Searching the remaining houses in the neighborhood.
You were upstairs in a master bedroom. The room was nice and put together, almost like the couple who occupied it had just gone off to work for the afternoon.
It was hard not to imagine those things. What had happened to the people in these houses that day? Who were they? What was their daily life like and what were they doing when the outbreak started?
You took a breath and made your way to the bedside table. The drawer opened with ease, everything inside the drawer was clean and untouched, unlike the rest of the room which was coated in a light layer of dirt.
You shuffle through the pile of papers, not finding anything useful. You shut the drawer and sat on the edge of the bed. There was a photo on the nightstand of a man and a woman on their wedding day, looking lovingly into each other's eyes.
Ghost comes into the room,
"I found you a pistol. The noise would draw too much attention so, you should only use it in necessary situations."
You don't respond to Ghost. He waits a few moments before coming around the bed.
"Y/n?"
His voice was soft. He seemed concerned, which was strange considering how unemotional Ghost had seemed.
"Please,"
The words are hardly audible. You turn to face him eyes glassy with tears.
"Don't leave me to die."
Your voice cracks on the last word and the flood of fear and sadness wash over you. You had been referring to an earlier conversation with Ghost.
He watches you with a sigh as you sniffle, feeling guilty but, Ghost kept his ground. He hadn't begun the outbreak alone, and he wasn't going to be responsible for anyone else's safety again.
"Y/n, we talked about this. Once we are past the city, I will help you get settled and be on my way. If I was leaving you to die, I'd have taken off by now."
Each word built up the annoyance inside him. He was tired of arguing with you about it and felt he was being fair in helping you for these few days. Ghost didn't appreciate how guilty you had been making him feel when he was trying to do the right thing by preparing you for survival.
You shake your head and stand up. Up until this point you'd kept quiet hoping you could change his mind by obeying but, it was clear now he had no intention of budging. Ghost had made up his mind and it was starting to piss you off.
"You're pretending like you're doing me a favor when in reality, you're only helping yourself!"
Ghost's jaw clenched under the mask.
"You only got this far because I helped you." He retorts, "I could have let those men back there shoot you! Is that what you prefer? Being dead on the road?"
You cross your arm over your chest and roll your eyes looking up to the ceiling like a teenager being scolded by a parent.
Ghost scoffs at the child-like attitude.
"I am giving you a chance to live. Nobody in this world owes you a goddamn thing, I know I sure as hell don't. So, if you feel like this is a waste of your time then get through the city yourself."
You felt your heart drop into the pit of your stomach.
"W-what?"
Ghost eyes narrow.
"You heard me y/n. I'm done. I tried to be nice I tried to help you, and you have done nothing but be unappreciative. I was alone for a reason."
Ghost looks down at the pistol he had found, he clicks on the safety before tossing it on the bed beside you and turns to leave.
You watch in disbelief as he stomps out of the room and down the stairs.
The front door closed with a thud and panic ensued. You bolt to the bedroom window watching Ghost continue down the street.
Overwhelming fear and adrenaline coursed through your veins, you hadn't felt like this since the outbreak began.
You were quick to pack up your things and pull your backpack over your shoulders.
Although it was rather useless to you, not having any knowledge of how to use it, you grabbed the pistol carrying it in your sweaty hand.
By the time you were out of the house and crossing the front lawn Ghost had already disappeared out of the neighborhood.
Your eyes darted around. Keeping on high alert, you began to walk down the street. You swapped the gun in your hand for the knife in your pocket as you continued, hoping to catch up with Ghost.
The fear made the situation feel surreal, you didn't want this to be happening, and you couldn't be alone again.
You hoped and prayed to any possible higher power that Ghost would change his mind, that he'd come back and apologize.
The sun was getting ready to set as you reached the outskirts of the city. It was apparent to you that it must be late afternoon by now and you hardly had a clue where to go from here. Without Ghost and his map, survival skills, and ability to navigate, you were sure you'd be dead by dusk.
You looked around for signs, anything that could tell you where you were or give you any sort of direction.
It seemed you were across from a shopping center, which you knew from any movies you'd seen of these types of survival situations, was a death wish. Yet so was the city. On foot at least, you figured a better bet would be the freeway.
You kept walking until you reached a freeway on-ramp. At this point, you'd accepted that Ghost was gone. It was impossible for you the assume which way he'd gone, where he'd stopped, and even if you could have guessed correctly what were the chances he'd still be there?
The freeway was surprisingly empty and quiet as you'd made it to the end of the ramp.
As you continued, your mind wandered to Ghost and the argument you'd had. You started to wonder if Ghost was right. Had you been that ungrateful? Were you anything more than a burden to him?
It wasn't long until you reached the long lines of abandoned cars. The eerie silence sent a shiver down your spine, you started to weave your way through the cars silently.
The area seemed to be safe. You glanced through widows as you passed hoping to find anything useful.
Finally, you stopped next to a smaller, silver car. Through the back window, you could see a couple of grocery bags. The front window was cracked, and you were able to push it down low enough to open the back door.
You sat on the edge of the seat and leaned in to search the bags. You were disgusted to see the rotten fruit and moldy loaf of bread but were relieved to find a few nonperishable items as well. You gathered what you could and continued looking.
The sun was almost set, and you had made it a few miles along. The lanes were still packed with abandoned cars.
With the sky getting dark you were getting nervous. The night would soon consume you leaving you in complete debilitating darkness. You had survived this way before, walking along roads allowing them to take you wherever they happened to end. But that had been then, in the rural parts of your small hometown. Where dangers were sparse and easily escapable.
You had been checking cars here and there for supplies as you moved forward. You had hoped by now you would find, at least, a better flashlight than the small one Ghost had given you but had no such luck.
Finally, you'd come across a pickup truck. It looked as if it had belonged to a company of some sort. In the back was a large toolbox.
You climbed up and over the tail end and into the bed of the truck. The toolbox was large and mounted onto the back end of the cab.
You lifted to heavy wooden lid and searched it.
With the last bits of remaining sunlight, you were able to make out the shape of a large hammer. Not the best weapon, but still infinitely more useful than a small knife.
Keeping the hammer in hand you pocket the knife and climb back out of the truck.
With darkness overtaking the road you decided it would be best to keep to the edge rather than in between the cars.
Your pace had become slower as you tried to keep as quiet as possible.
As you came to another passenger side window you could see the glistening of a flashlight on the dashboard. Your eyes widened, pulling at the handle frantically.
The door was locked. You slipped the hammer into your belt and walked around to the driver's side door. To your surprise, the driver's door opened with ease.
Unfortunately, the car alarm began blaring. Your heart pounded in your chest. Panicking you reached across the center console and grabbed the heavy metal flashlight.
You turned it on and searched the floorboards with the dim yellow light. There were no keys anywhere to be found.
You heard distant groans and snarls. If there was anything around right now, they were surely going to come directly to you.
You pulled yourself away from the driver's seat and began to run. Weaving again through cars. The dim flashlight hardly leads you through the road without tripping and bumping into the askew vehicles.
A corpse reached out to you from the back window of a car as you passed. Startled, you lost your balance and fell to the ground.
It fought its way out falling through the window and landing on the pavement beside you.
You reach up with a shaky hand feeling for the door handle of the car beside you. You swing the door open and climb into the back seat.
The door slams leaving the corpse to grasp desperately at the metal door with its bony fingers. Your chest heaves with panic but your feeling of safety is short-lived when a weak hiss comes from the driver's seat.
A skeletal hand reaches back between the front seats. You crawl to the other side and slide out of the car trying to steady yourself on your feet.
With the flashlight gripped tightly in your hand and the car alarm still blaring behind you, you continue to run. The weight of your backpack is starting to hurt your shoulders, but you push through the pain.
You fall to your knees, back pressed to a car. Your mind raced but you needed a plan. Where could you go from here?
Your thoughts are interrupted by the sound of gunshots ringing through the air. A part of you was grateful someone was here to help. The other part of you feared whoever it was and prayed that it was Ghost. Although, you knew that was unlikely.
The shots continued. You turned off the flashlight and kept crouched along the cars as you moved forward.
The shots ceased and moments later so did the alarm. You froze in place crouched against the hood of a van. Footsteps approached, the crunch of glass and gravel beneath a pair of heavy boots, getting closer and closer.
There was a snarling, then the squelching sound of a knife entering flesh.
"Shit!"
Exclaimed a man's voice. A body thudded to the pavement and the footsteps continued.
That voice wasn't Ghost.
A white light shines on the ground beside you and you know you'd been caught. Your breath was caught in your throat as a pair of boots stopped on the road beside you.
This was it.

Thank you for the ask!!!!
Eddie was waiting, counting down the days, minutes and seconds until Steve, his Steve, would come in through the front door. Steve had been away for several days and Eddie missed him. He was pacing anxiously by the front door. It was too early to leave for the airport, but Eddie missed him and he needed to see him now this second.
He gathered a few items and decided to go for a drive to the store, and pick some items for dinner and maybe a snack. Something to fill his time. He checked the fridge and cupboards, made a list and left.
Shopping wouldn't take long anyway but still it would eat up at least an hour of his time. Once the shopping was done and put away at home, Eddie swept up the mess and cleaned the bathroom because again it was something to do. He glanced at his watch, he had another two hours. Figuring he would just be stressed, Eddie planned on a dinner he could make, (of the two of them Steve was the better cook) he then cleaned their room, and changed their linen.
As he was starting to calm a bit, a thought struck, Steve had asked him to change a light bulb, so he hunted down the light, it was the one in their den, and a lightbulb and changed that. Then he cleared up the table and set it for dinner later.
Eddie lost himself in his menial tasks. He was so focussed on his tasks that he didn't hear the front door open. But he did pause when he heard a familiar voice call his name, "Eddie? are you home?"
He raced dawn the stairs to front door. His Steve was standing there, a suitcase on the floor beside him and holding a beautiful bouquet of sunflowers and red roses. Eddie felt his breath catch in his lungs.
He couldn't breathe for a minute, taking in his husband, his partner, his Steve. He glanced at his watch in panic, had he missed the pickup time?
"Were you waiting for me?"
Steve gave him a tender smile. "I wasn't waiting, my love. My flight was changed to an earlier time, and I didn't have time to text you. So when I landed I ordered the flowers and came straight home."
Eddie breathed a sigh of relief. "you're home. I missed you." he whispered. Steve put the flowers down on the side table and held open his arms. Eddie flew into them, pressing his lips to Steve's.
His whole world shifted back to normal, the tension in his body flew away with every gentle sound he was drinking in. His Steve was home. Everything was ok.

I just have this gut feeling that if you made yeehaw wanda dinner and forgot to make dessert, she’d just look at you with the biggest grin and go “Oh I’ll just have you for dessert, honey.”
Sorry for going a wild with this one I'm not sorry but I just… yeah.. this was supposed to be like three paragraphs max; @caroldantops said it didn’t need edits so blame them for any typos 💖
18+ only please . wc: 1.2k . cw: oral, dirty talk, oversensitivity, Wanda just being a silly cowgirl who wants kitchen table sex after a long week of hard work
Tumblr media
Wanda cleaned her plate effortlessly, your long labored over dinner fully appreciated by the woman across the small kitchen table. “You must’ve spent all day on that stew and it was well worth it. What’s for dessert?”
It wasn’t an unfair question; typically every night ended with a sweet treat handmade by you, Wanda eagerly awaiting whatever surprise you had in store. But tonight you stayed seated, head hung low to mumble out your ashamed response, “I forgot.. I thought we had pie left, but I didn’t realize you’d snuck the last piece off to work with you until it was too late to make anything new. I’m sorry, Wands…”
The brunette was silent for a moment while you fidgeted nervously in your seat, tapping her fork against her plate as she thought over your mistake. “Come over here for a second, bunny, lemme talk to you.”
You rose from your seat slowly, rounding the table to hover at Wanda’s side. She pushed her plate far out of the way before pointing to the now clear surface, confusing you until she gently nudged you over, “Sit down, right in front.. there ya go.”
“Are you mad? I’m sure I can make find something in the cupboards to-“ But Wanda shushed you, scooting her chair forward once she’d settled in place between your legs. You felt terrible about forgetting one of your girlfriend’s favorite things; the only thing keeping you from tears was Wanda’s strong hands smoothing up your thighs. “Would you be opposed to going out? It’s the weekend, we could get ice cream.”
“Nah, I don’t want any of that,” Wanda shook her head, playing with the short hem of your dress. She could care less if you never made dessert for her again, all she wanted was time with you at the end of every long day. “I’ve got my dessert right here, honey.”
A curious eyebrow cocked down at her, confusedly searching for whatever sweet she was seeing that you couldn’t, “You didn’t forget to eat the pie at lunch, did you? Because it can’t be good anymore if it’s been sitting out all day…”
“Oh no, I ended up eating that way before break time, couldn’t help myself,” Wanda dragged you to the table’s edge, letting your dress ride up with it. The second she spied those pink lace panties she practically begged to let her buy for you, she fought not to rip them right off. “Thankfully you’re sweeter than any pie or cake in the world… You’ll let me have a taste, won’t you?”
The forwardness of it all made your entire face hot, Wanda's wolfish grin and shameless groping of your now exposed ass making you feel like captured prey. It wasn't the first time either, Wanda loved to overwhelm, to make you feel like the owned plaything you longed to be, but couldn't dare say aloud.... until she came along. She didn't mind if you were bashful about your desires, not in the slightest; if she was honest, it only served to turn her on more.
So when you nodded, whispering out a yes and spreading your legs to give her free reign where she couldn't wait to get her hands on, Wanda barely held back a feral growl. "That's a good girl. Now relax and let daddy get her fill of dessert."
She lifted you just enough to tug that temptatious lace off, tucking it in her back jeans pocket for safe keeping. Wanda had never been a patient woman, not in work and certainly not when it came to you. Tilting you back just enough, she hitched soft thighs over her strong shoulders and dove in, mouth devouring you as if she hadn't just eaten two helpings of dinner.
"Such a pretty little cunt... always so wet and ready, all for me," Wanda loved to mumble her way through eating you out, bestowing endless praise on the girl she grew helplessly drunk on. Your hands buried themselves in Wanda's hair, hips stuttering as her tongue rippled over your clit, "Go on, bunny, you can fuck yourself on my face if you wanna. Use me all you want."
And use her you did, rutting over the rough surface until your back arched and you were clamoring with your arms and legs to try to bring Wanda impossibly closer. You could've been ashamed of how needy your girlfriend made you in so short a time, but you knew she loved you just like this, willing and pliant, and all you ever wanted was to make her happy. "Can you go inside? P-Please..."
She had her tongue in you before you could finish your sentence, pushing deep as she could manage and your groan was so loud, Wanda swore it rattled the walls. It was enough to leave her grinding against the ridge at the front of her chair; you always managed to do such a number on her, Wanda's head already swirling with ideas how to have you help her get off in bed later.
"Wanda.. Wands, I'm so-" The tip of her nose bumped against your clit as she tongue fucked you as best she could in time with your erratic thrusts. It dawned on you that you were going to cum on her face, right on the kitchen table Wanda'd built with her own two hands out back and you've never been so in love.
When that coil in your belly finally snapped, you swore you blacked out for a minute, the euphoria too great for your body to cope with. Your girlfriend worked you through your orgasm effortlessly, not minding how you suffocated her between your sex and thighs, lapping every drop of wetness she could before you leaked onto the table.
Pulling away was hard, but you were panting so heavily, Wanda knew she had to lay you back before you fell, prying your legs apart to safely lower you down. She laid her head on the top of your thigh, using her fingers now to play in the mess she'd made while you still twitched and shook. "Best dessert anyone could ever get, honey. You're such a gift..."
"You're sure you're not mad? Even a little?" Your question was still quiet, tone wavering as earlier insecurities crept in again. Wanda hated hurting your feelings; even though you insisted she be honest with you, she'd clocked your sensitivity from day one and always covered up any frustrations with you as best as possible.
But Wanda was too busy smothering your legs with kisses, marking your inner thighs with love bites to worry about one night of missed baked goods. "I'd never be mad over something so silly. I'm lucky enough to have my sweetheart to come home to every single evening."
The brunette sat up then, only to bend over when your arms reached out for her. It was a painfully awkward angle, but she could care less, brushing the hairs that'd shaken loose from your pigtails back behind your ears. Wanda had that silly grin on her face again, the one you couldn't help but melt for, and just like that you felt yourself smiling right back at your girlfriend. "You're so sweet to me, Wanda, it's adorable."
"I love ya, you've got nothing to worry about, bunny." As her lips met yours, Wanda fiddled with the thin bow on the front of your dress, her free hand hitching your leg over her hip to press your bare lower half to her denim-covered one. "Now... am I adorable enough to get a second bit of dessert or do I have to sneak it again?"

Nothing Ever After
Noah Sebastian x Reader x Vinny Mauro
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Chapter 2
chapter warnings: weed (i mean it's folio c'mon)
this chapters pretty short, it was half written as a filler so we can get to where the miw guys come into the story!! :)
───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────
It was getting closer and closer to the day you were setting off to go on tour with Bad Omens, and living with Noah Sebastian wasn’t for the weak. When he would walk around topless, nothing on but a pair of black shorts or joggers and his chain, you’d have to excuse yourself and pace in circles around your room to clear the thoughts from your head. When you were cooking in the kitchen and couldn’t reach something in the cupboard so you’d call him over to get it for you and he’d tower over you as he easily picked up what you were after you had to bite down on your lip so you didn’t lean over and bite his bicep.
You were certain he knew how you felt about him, he had to be aware that he was hot, and you were both single, and you would both so clearly flirt with each other. It didn’t help that he was so goddamn nice to you all the time, you couldn't tell half the time if he was actually flirting or not.
Orie was currently out shooting a music video somewhere, so you were sat outside by the pool with Noah, Matt, Jolly and Folio. As you sat talking with Jolly about something, you looked over your shoulder to see Folio rolling a joint.
“That better be the only one, the neighbours were complaining about the smell the last time you stayed over.” Noah warned, and Folio smirked.
“Yes, dad. Sorry, dad!” He said as he placed the joint between his lips, searching his pockets for a lighter, only for Matt to throw one over to him.
“I was talking with Chris today,” Noah said, “he agreed to come out to sing just pretend with us, but he asked if we’d rather Ricky come out instead?”
You thought you recognised those names, but stayed out of the conversation as it didn’t have anything to do with you.
“The fans would go insane for either, I guess we could bring Rick out one night and Chris another? Or have Chris join you in a different song? Maybe a heavier one?” Matt suggested.
“Oh he would fuck up artificial suicide if it wasn’t our first song.” Folio said, passing the joint to Matt as they all agreed.
"Or even hedonist." Jolly added.
“I was thinking for our last night putting malice on the setlist, and having Chris come out for that, then we all go off stage, then we come back on with the motionless guys and play one of their old songs together. Only issue would be Folio and Vin, it’s not like we can have two sets of drums up there.” Noah explained.
“Wait, what’s going on?” You ask finally, “who are we touring with?” you were trying to work out what they were talking about but there was no hope.
“Motionless in white, I thought you knew?” Noah furrowed his eyebrows, “I met Chris, their vocalist, during shiprocked last year and we thought it would be good to do a tour together. We were supposed to a couple years ago but then we kinda blew up out of nowhere and plans got changed.”
“Oh that’s sick!” You grin, “they’re the guys who made slaughterhouse, right?”
“They’re the ones.” Folio nodded, “shit, we could all play slaughterhouse together!”
“We can discuss it all once we’re all together,” Matt said, passing the joint to Jolly, “they probably already have all their shit sorted anyway, I don’t want them to have to make any changes so late.”
“No neither do I,” Noah sighed, “it’s just so hard because Chris is always busy, I’m always busy, we never get a chance to discuss things like this directly.”
“We can talk about it on Friday when we’re all together.” Matt said, “I’ve gotta go now though, I told Alyson I’ll help her cook tonight, her parents are coming over so I better go and freshen up. I’ll see you tomorrow guys.”
“Bye, man.” Folio and Jolly nodded.
“See ya.” You smiled.
“Thanks Matt,” Noah patted his shoulder, “see you tomorrow.”
After Matt left, Jolly shortly followed and then Folio announced that he was going in to have a snack and take a nap, leaving you and Noah alone.
“I’ve seen you’ve had your eye on the pool all afternoon,” he observed, “you can get in if you want?”
“Well I did bring a bikini,” you smirk, “it'd be a shame not to use it... but I can’t get in by myself.”
“Who said you were getting in by yourself?” He grinned, “go get changed.”
You smiled, getting up from the chair you’d been sat in all afternoon. You walked past Folio, who was now snoring on the couch, you felt pretty bad for him. You did wonder why he couldn’t stay in Matt’s old room, but when Noah opened the door and showed you the boxes and boxes of merch that were scattered around the room, and the fact that there was no bed, you realised why he took the couch instead.
You searched through the drawer in your room for the bikini you brought with you. You debated taking it when you were packing your suitcase, but then you realised the guys might take a day off to hit the beach or something, so you opted for taking it just in case.
You put it on, and caught a glimpse of yourself in the big mirror hanging on the back of the bedroom door. Over the years, you had started to become more comfortable in your own body, and you smiled at yourself as you reached for the door handle before making your way back down to the pool. When you got there, you spotted Noah, who was already in the pool looking over the edge.
“I’m back.” You announced, catching his attention as you put your phone down by the towels Noah had brought out.
“C’mon, get in!” He said, “It's so warm in here.”
You sit by the edge of the pool and dip your feet in, and you swear you went into shock, instantly pulling them back out.
“Fuck! Noah it’s freezing!” You shouted, but before you could get away, he had pulled you in with him. “Stop! This isn’t funny!” You shouted at him, but you couldn’t help but giggle, which wasn’t helping your case.
“Cold waters good for you!”
“Maybe if you’re insane!”
“Hey!” He laughed, before noticing how your body was practically shaking, “oh shit, come here!” He opened his arms, wrapping them around you and holding you close to his chest, you could feel the heat radiating from him.
“See what you’ve done!” You snickered, but he only laughed.
“You’ll get over the initial shock and get used to it in a moment.”
He was right, it only took a couple minutes before you were swimming about just fine.
“So was this here when you moved in?”
“Yeah, but we had to get some guys out to clean it. Matt insisted he could do it himself but he took one look at the pool and an hour later he was on the phone to some cleaners.”
“Typical Matt,” you chuckled, “you’ve such a nice place, here.”
“I know, it's great.” He smiled, “we had to get out of our last place after the band started blowing up, we had some kinda crazy stalkers, this place just felt a lot safer for all of us. But it’s strange now that all the guys are starting to move out. I guess I never thought about what would happen when we all get to this age and want to start families. I kinda had this vision that we’d always live together, we always have done.”
You frowned, seeing how this clearly upset him.
“Well that just means you have to get some pets! I can imagine a few dogs running around this place, maybe some cats too, a parrot even!”
Noah smiled, shaking his head.
“The only issue is touring, I’d love to have some pets of my own more than anything! But I’d hate having to leave them all the time, it just wouldn’t be fair on them.”
“I didn’t think of that,” you frowned, and quickly changed the topic, “are you excited to be back on the road?”
“Yeah, we’ve had quite a lot of time off but it isn’t like we’ve had a break, we've spent most of it working on the next album. But I can’t wait to be back on stage, it always gives me this feeling I can’t explain. I love the atmosphere, seeing everyone so connected and having a great time and knowing it’s because of us, that we created this.”
You noticed the way the water was slowly dripping from his chain, his hair was slightly damp, sticking to his forehead and oh was he getting buff- and is that a back tattoo?
However, these thoughts soon came to an end as Noah splashed you.
“Earth to y/n?! Are you listening to me are you too busy checking me out?”
You felt your cheeks redden, you didn’t even realise he had said something?
“I wasn’t-”
“Yeah, yeah…” He smirked. This bastard was starting to get cocky, and you hated when he was like this.
You were now sat on the edge of the pool again, and he was slowly making his way closer to you. As you turned to reach for a towel to wrap around your upper body as your legs dangled in the water, you felt a pair of hands on your waist.
“You look pretty like this, y’know.” He said, his voice just above a whisper.
He took the towel from your hands and wrapped it around you, pushing your hair out of your face, letting his hand rest on your cheek.
You’d never really had a chance to look at him this closely, he was beautiful. You noticed every little detail, every freckle, every mole, the colour of his eyes, the shape of his lips- everything you’d never really paid any attention to before.
You both alowly began to lean in, inching closer to each other. His fingers slithered from your cheek to under your chin, and you let your eyes shut as you felt his warm breath on your lips.
“Guys!” The both of you jumped, instantly pulling away from each other as you heard Folio shout from inside, “Nicholas is here!”
“What? I thought he was coming tomorrow,” said Noah as he got out of the pool, grabbing a towel to wrap around himself before holding his hand out to you, “we better go in, it’s gonna be getting dark soon anyway.”
You agreed, taking his hand and getting up, making sure to wrap the towel around yourself before entering the house.
“Great to see you man!” Noah grinned at his best friend, wrapping an arm around him, “I thought you were coming tomorrow?”
“My flight got changed, I texted you,” Nicholas frowned, “didn’t you see it?”
“Shit, sorry!” Noah groaned, shaking his head, “I’ve been talking to Chris and then Matt and then… it’s all just getting so chaotic, we leave in 2 days, you know how it gets.”
“Don’t worry about it,” he smiled, before his attention shifted to you, “hi y/n! It’s great to see you again. I heard you’re joining us as our photographer?”
“Yeah, Bryan thought it would be a good opportunity to get some experience touring. Only thing is I’m not looking forward to being the only girl on that tour bus.”
“Yeah that kinda sucks,” Folio added, “we’ll be on our best behaviour, ma’am.”
You chuckled, shaking your head.
“I’m gonna take a shower, if that’s okay?” You said, directing your question to Noah as the only shower that currently works is in his bathroom.
“Of course, I’ll be up in a moment to get changed anyway.”
You nodded and made your way up the stairs, only to be followed shortly by Noah.
Nick sighed as he sat down on the couch, looking over at Nicholas who was still bringing his things in from the car.
“I bet $50 they’ll get together on this tour.”
“Get together?” Nicholas questioned, “You mean get together? Or like… they’ll start dating?”
“Both.” Nick stated, “they probably would’ve done it in the pool just now if I didn’t interrupt.”
“No way, he’s still got feelings for her after all these years?”
“It’s so obvious, man. She clearly feels the same way too.”
“What are you talking about?” Noah asked, coming back down the stairs.
“Who do you think?” Nicholas looked over at Folio and smirked.
“Hayley again? Nick, man, it’s been weeks! I thought you were over her.”
Nick rolled his eyes and sighed as Noah walked back up the stairs with a pile of towels.
“So what do you say?”
“I don’t think it’ll happen,” Nicholas confessed, “Noah’s spent the last 6 years working on himself, building himself back up and protecting himself. I don’t think he’ll do it.”
“You’re gonna owe me $50 in a few months, buddy.” Nick patted Ruffilo’s back as he walked past him towards the kitchen.

Letters Part Three
Tumblr media
John Mitchell x Reader
Words: 3196
Summary: Mitchell and the reader try to create some normalcy living in the same house for the first time in eighty years.
Notes: I’m not going to lie, this series is also a place where I get to hate Lucy as much as I want because I despise that woman.
Part One; Part Two
-
Y/N: Do you know where the towels are?
J.M.: Who is this?
Y/N: Right, sorry, it’s me.
Y./N: I mean it’s Y/N. Annie gave me your number.
J.M.: I didn’t give you my number? I thought I did.
Y/N: No, you must have forgotten before you left.
J.M.: Right. Sorry. Good that you have it now.
Y/N: So towels?
-
Mitchell shot you a text explaining that they were in the cupboard in the bathroom, though he didn’t know why Annie couldn’t have just told you that. He tucked his phone back in his pocket and returned to cleaning out his cleaning bucket, which always felt counterproductive to him, but whatever.
He could still see you standing in that doorway, so different yet so much the same. Even speaking with that new doctor, Lucy, all he could think about was the fact that you were waiting at the house, worrying about Lizzy Kain and God knows what else and he was in the hospital mopping up shite.
He still didn’t understand it all. Lizzy being a vengeful, psychotic bitch, he could understand. In his brief acquaintance with Herrick’s reluctant Irish aly, he recognized both her and her disgusting husband’s brutality, even for vampires. How you got mixed up with them…
Mitchell gritted his teeth.
He knew how, of course.
Because he let you get away.
“Right, so George tells me we have a new house guest?” Nina appeared in front of him, hands on her hips, and eyes holding her usual contempt for him. “Were you planning on asking the rest of us?”
“Where did you even come from?” He peered over her shoulder at the long hallway.
“Don’t avoid my question, Mitchell.”
“It wasn’t my idea, okay?” He snapped. Mitchell ran a hand down his face and sighed. “It was Annie’s.” He chuckled humorlessly. “Sometimes she forgets the complicated nature of having relationships when you’ve lived over a century.”
Nina leaned in and lowered her voice. “So it’s true then? She’s your… your wife?”
Mitchell turned away.
“Wow,” she scoffed. She shook her head, surprise clear on her features.
“What?” Mitchell was getting tired of this conversation.
“Nothing,” Nina shrugged. “I just wouldn’t have thought you the type.”
“I did have a life, you know.” He crossed his arms. “A very long one, actually.”
“Right.” She exhaled deeply. “I forget that sometimes, I guess.” Her tone softened from interrogation to just regular curiosity. He couldn't tell which was more frustrating. “So are you two, still, you know, together?”
“If by that you mean are we still legally married?”
Nina nodded.
Mitchell let the tension in his shoulders relax. “Yeah. Yeah, we are.” He noticed her lingering surprise and elaborated. “Things like divorce get a little trivial when you-”
“Live as long as you do, I get it.” Nina bit her lip, trying to decide whether or not to keep walking or say something else. She chose the latter. “Listen, I’m not trying to be that flatmate, I just…” She looked up at him without disdain. “After everything that happened, we have to be careful.”
Mitchell gave her a small smile. “Thanks, Nina.”
“Don’t thank me yet.” She started to back away, raising a brow. “I can’t wait to hear all about you in your younger days from Mrs. Mitchell.” She held up crossed fingers. “I’m hoping for a photograph and a bad haircut.”
Mitchell rolled his eyes but laughed anyway.
“I’ll see you later,” he said.
She took a deep breath and pushed through a set of doors into a different hallway.
After another hour, Mitchell finished work for the day, though a part of him wanted to stay there forever. The hospital was far from a palace, but there he could be something else. He could be invisible.
You could see him. Better than anyone else, you could see him.
He walked slower than usual down to his locker.
“Mitchell!” A woman called after him. Lucy hurried towards him. “Sorry, I know you’re about to head off, but could you do me a favor?”
He stopped walking and waited, but she just kinda… looked at him.
“What is it?” He asked, a little more impatient than he intended.
“Right, sorry.” That look in her eye didn’t go away but he couldn't quite tell what it was. “Could you show me where room 303 is? You would expect it to be next to 302, but no, finding anywhere in this bloody place is impossible.”
His confusion must have shown on his face because she continued.
“I just figured they make you clean up all round, so…”
“Um, sure,” he said. “It’s up this way.”
He couldn't help but feel her watching him as they walked. She looked away every time he glanced at her, but he could still sense her eyes every time he turned his head back.
“Alright, what?” He said. “Have I got something on my face? Why are you looking at me like that?”
Lucy sighed. “It’s nothing, I just-” She shook her head. “God this is stupid. I just feel awful about how I was earlier and I wanted to say sorry.”
Mitchell shrugged. “It’s okay. Really.”
“This transfer hasn’t exactly been what I expected and I took it out on the first bloke I saw.” She fixed a loose strand of hair. “So, yeah, I’m sorry.”
“Really, Lucy, it’s fine. I’ve dealt with worse from some of the white coats around here.”
“Can I make it up to you?” She blurted. She cleared her throat. “Buy you a drink or something?”
“Oh, I…” Mitchell grimaced. “You know, I just had a lot come up in my life and-”
“Okay,” she cut him off. “Forget I said anything.”
She walked away before he could say anything else.
Mitchell stood in the middle of the hall, looking utterly flabbergasted. “Well, that was weird.” He ran his fingers through his hair and headed back toward the locker room. Shift change had already happened, so the place was empty. One of the lights was out, flickering overhead. It set him on edge. He opened his locker.
And a rose fell out.
-
You didn’t know how long you’d stood with the fridge door open, staring at the light while the cold air seeped out around you.
“You…okay?”
The sudden voice made you jump, slamming the fridge door shut.
Mitchell stood in the doorway to the kitchen. He held out his hands. “Sorry. Didn’t mean to scare you.”
“Christ, well you did,” you exclaimed. “If I could, I’d have a heart attack.”
He snickered. “I said I was sorry.”
You turned to him, trying to look angry, but you just couldn’t. Not when he was smiling at you like that. Even with everything that had happened that day, you couldn’t keep yourself from laughing with him.
“Hand me a beer?” He asked.
You opened the fridge again and grabbed two, popping the top off of your own. You took a long, slow drink.
Mitchell took a long, slow drink.
Then the two of you exchanged a long, slow look.
It was enough to drive both of you mad.
“How was your day?” Mitchell wondered, unable to keep the awkwardness from his voice.
“It was fine,” you said tightly. You could still feel the heat of Daisy’s stare and the chill of Ivan’s indifference. “You?”
Mitchell thought of the rose he’d thrown away on the way here. He thought of the only person who would have sent it.
He shrugged. “Fine.”
“Great.” You took another drink.
So did he. “Great.”
“I found the towels,” you said.
“That’s good.” The image of you in the shower popped into your head and just made him all the more awkward. “Does Annie’s room suit you okay?”
“Oh yeah, it’ll be fine while I’m here.” You leaned against the counter. “I really appreciate her letting me stay there.”
“She doesn’t really sleep, so,” he shrugged.
“Still,” you said, “it’s nice of her.”
“Yeah.”
You both finished your beers.
Was this how it was going to be? Sitting in silence, walking on eggshells, never knowing what to say? It used to be so natural. You could tell him anything and he you. He was your best friend. Now, were you anything more than strangers?
You finally both spoke, words overlapping each other.
“I was wondering if you’d like to get dinner.”
“Do you want another drink?”
You blinked, processing his question after yours.
Mitchell looked away, rubbing the back of his neck. “It’s just, I don’t cook much and Nina and George are working tonight, so I thought…” He stood, picking up the empty bottles and tossing them. “Never mind, it was a stupid idea.”
“No,” you said, following him. “I think that sounds kinda nice.”
After the day you had with Mr. and Mrs. Crazy, you wouldn’t mind a nice meal. And eighty years left a lot of catching up to do.
“Really?” Mitchell asked, brows raised in surprise.
You nodded. “Maybe you can show me around Bristol. I haven’t been in ages.”
He smiled and your knees felt weak.
“Great.” He ran his fingers through his hair. “I’m just going to take a shower and then we can go?”
“Alright,” you said, turning away to keep from melting entirely.
So that answered that then. Even after all this time, you could never be strangers. Not really.
-
It was a quiet night. The pub had few other patrons, which let you and Mitchell eat in peace. Though, without the bustle, it left room for the awkward silence that plagued the two of you still.
“Good chips,” you noted.
He shrugged. “It isn’t the nicest place, but it’s George and I’s favorite.”
“It reminds me of the place my father used to take me to,” you said. “Do you remember?”
“How could I forget? I’d see you in there when you were just a girl, waiting to help walk him home.” He shook his head. “Drunk prick.”
It wasn’t a pleasant memory, but for some reason, the frustration in his tone comforted you.
He still cared.
“Not all of my nights at that pub were bad,” you said softly, looking at him over the top of your beer. “We first danced there.”
Mitchell chuckled. “Dancing is a generous word for you stomping all over my feet.”
“Maybe I was just giving you a reason to give me more lessons.” You smirked back.
You looked at each other for a long while, his soft hazel eyes staring into yours and making time stop. For that moment, it felt like you were back in that pub and he was asking you to dance.
Mitchell looked away first and cleared his throat. “So how long were you with the Kains?”
You set your stein aside. “I met Lizzy around the turn of the century and she took a liking to me. When she asked me to stay with them, well-” You took a deep breath. “She isn’t exactly the type you say no to.”
“I remember her being,” he tried to think of the right word, “intense.”
You snorted, bitterness lacing your tone. “She’s a right crazy bitch.” Taking a long swig of your beer, you shrugged. “But having her for a friend for the better part of ten years had its perked. I mean, no one messed with us. It was like we were untouchable.”
“Yeah, I know the feeling.”
Another uncomfortable tension filled the air.
Mitchell couldn’t help the frustration burning in his chest. All those years ago, you left him behind. You left him with the power you both feared more than any other. And you left only to stumble into another situation that was just the same.
You felt his demeanor change and anger bubbled up your throat.
He had the audacity to judge? After everything he’d abandoned you to be a part of? After everything he’d let Herrick get away with?
You shook your head.
In his defense, he didn’t know everything.
“Maybe we should be getting back,” you said, keeping your eyes trained at the table.
Mitchell leaned back in the booth. “I’ll get the check when she gets back.”
“You don’t have to-”
“It’s not a problem.”
Christ, it was worse than a bad first date.
Daisy’s mocking words from earlier rang through your head.
“You’ve been apart longer than you’ve been together.” Her blue eyes sparkled wickedly at you. “I’m surprised he even remembers you.”
Was it possible? Had he blocked out your past together while you’d spent every day for nearly a century thinking of his smile?
“Oh, um-” Mitchell scratched the back of his neck, his awkwardness turning less irritated. “There’s a sweets place on the way back. They’ve got those old-style chocolates you like if you want to stop by.”
“Are you buying those too?”
A small smile returned to his lips. “I’m a hospital porter, Y/N, and I don’t mop up money.”
“We could always swipe it like we did that bottle from McQuinn’s place,” you snickered.
“He almost shot us.”
You waved your hand. “He was half blind. The man couldn’t hit the side of a barn.”
Mitchell stood and held out his arm. “Let’s just go, alright?”
“Alright, John.” You took his arm and let him lead you out.
Things may have changed, but he hadn’t forgotten.
-
Y/N
I would like to see you again. I know it might be complicated because of your father. We can meet by the river at the spot where you hid the whiskey. Meet me there tomorrow night when your family falls asleep. If you don’t want to, I won’t bother you anymore. But I’d really like to hear more about your story.
Yours,
John
-
Back at the house, Annie greeted you with a cup of tea and a big question.
“Were you two on a date?”
You nearly choked on the tea. “What? No!”
“Don’t be ridiculous,” Mitchell sputtered. “We went out to the pub, that’s all.”
Annie simply raised a brow and took your hand, leading you into the living room. “Well, I think he has hogged you long enough.”
Mitchell scoffed arms out at his sides. “We were gone for two hours.”
“But Y/N was gone all day,” Annie said, confused.
Mitchell turned to you with brows furrowed.
“Annie, why don’t you show me some of your favorite channels?” You hurriedly picked up the remote and let the sound of the TV take over the growing tension.
Mitchell narrowed his eyes, but decided not to push it, heading upstairs to take a shower and wash the memories out of his head. Being sentimental now wouldn’t help anyone. Even if your laugh reminded him so much of how it felt to be young. To be human.
“So.” Annie’s curious, bright eyes found yours. “Where’d you disappear this afternoon if it wasn’t with your husband?”
Daisy’s piercing eyes and Ivan’s smirk popped into your head.
“I just wandered around,” you shrugged. “It’s been a long time since I’ve been to Bristol. A lot has changed.”
“I know!” She exclaimed. “Just last week they finished building this awful shopping mall and I don’t think I’ve ever seen an uglier building.”
You laughed, reminding yourself that even though the two of you weren’t exactly amongst the living, she was still so new.
“Sounds awful,” you agreed, though not without a teasing tone.
Annie nudged you with her shoulder. “Just wait til you see it.” Her mouth fell open and her face lit up. “Oh my god, we should have a girls' trip and get you some new clothes!” She clapped her hands excitedly. “It’ll be so fun. And you didn’t come here with much in the way of outfits.”
“What’s wrong with this one?” You looked down at your ratty jeans and jumper.
“It’s… fine,” she said. “A little too ‘on the run from my crazy vampire coven’ don’t you think?”
You gasped in mock offense.
“This is my favorite shirt.”
“Maybe we can get you a new one?” She snickered.
“You’re terrible,” you exclaimed, letting the laughter take over.
She was right, of course.
It was a fucking hideous jumper.
-
Summer 1909
You couldn’t take it anymore.
He threw the bottle.
You raised an arm to keep the glass from hitting your face as it shattered against the wall. You ran.
“Get back here ya ungrateful-”
The slamming door cut off your father’s shouts.
You couldn’t take it anymore.
Thunder rumbled over your head but you didn’t care. The sound cleared away the stinging words in your mind, washing everything away like the rain that was sure to follow. You hoped it was a tempest. You hoped lightning struck that house and burned everything to the ground. You hoped it took you up in the wind and carried you far from here.
You don’t know where you’re going by the time you get there, finding yourself at a crossroads down the lane from your cottage. A wheel with a broken wheel sat abandoned on the side of the road, providing a good specimen to focus your unfiltered anger on.
Wood splintered and metal creaked with every kick you landed against the vehicle. Screams of frustration mixed with the sound of the destruction. You tore off pieces of the seat with your hands and threw them into the field.
You attacked the object until you were out of breath and sweat stuck your hair to the back of your neck.
“That’s an interesting tactic to fix a wheel.” A voice said behind you, making you jump. A boy your age stood with his hands in his pockets, watching you with an amused smirk. “I could help you if you like.”
“I don’t need anyone’s help,” you snapped, tucking your shaking hands under your arms.
“Is that why you’re attacking a poor, defenseless wagon?” He stepped towards you. “Because I think there might be an underlying issue here.”
“I know you.” You glared. “You’re that Mitchell boy who used to chase me around with frogs. John.”
He laughed. “In my defense, we were six.”
“I hold grudges.”
“Is that what happened with the wagon?”
You let out a growling yell and threw another piece of broken wood at him, which he aptly dodged.
“Alright, alright, I’m sorry.” John held up his hands in surrender. “What’s wrong?”
“Nothing.”
He raised a brow, ready to make another comment about the splinters you’d kicked in.
You looked away.
John took another step towards you, his tone sweet and gentle “Can I walk you home?”
“No,” you answered a little too quickly. You cleared your throat and shook your head. “I don’t want to go home.”
“Can I walk you somewhere else then?” He smiled.
You scoffed. “If my father saw you alone with me, he’d shoot you.”
John glanced around, holding out his arms. He shrugged. “I don’t see him anywhere.” He held out his arm. “McQuinn’s’ll serve us so long as we don’t tell him how old we are.”
You smiled, feeling a small weight lift off your shoulders.
He was rather cute, you supposed.
“Okay, John.”

Gaz sat on the kitchen counter, watching you carefully as he idly kicked his legs, the backs of his heavy combat boots hitting the wooden cupboards but without a single sound. His hands planted firmly on the marble counter top as he dared to smile.
He loved to watch you so much; to see you go about your day and to get better and better every day.
The last few months had been so tough on you, Gaz felt so awful; seeing you stay up late every night, crying and sobbing and wailing until you passed out. You would sleep until the afternoon, wake up, and then spend all night either in bed or sitting on the sofa crying and snivelling.
If he had been able to, Gaz would have cried himself; he promised that he would never hurt you, that he would always protect you. But he had failed you; he couldn't protect you any more, he couldn't keep you safe at all.
It was all his fault.
But seeing you now... vibrant, full of life, singing along to old Sodom songs. It did bring a smile to Gaz's face as he leaned back a little, folding his arms across his chest. He listened keenly to the sound of your voice, and watched you like he always used to.
His dark brown eyes completely and utterly focused on you, and only you; as if you were the only thing that mattered in the world.
He reached a hand down to his stomach, feeling the cold gush of nothing as a soft draft seeped through the open and gaping hole; the jagged edges and bits of organ that hung and clung onto the bottom. The burn marks around the inner rim.
He frowned. He thought he was going to get used to it after a while, but not anymore.
He wished you would look at him, that you would meet his sunken and empty eyes; he wished you would put your hand next to him, and feel the cold spot that had formed there.
They seemed to be all around him these days, cold spots and flickering lights.
But you hardly seemed to notice. He would scream at the top of his lungs, call your name as he stood in front of you, and you didn't even hear him; you didn't even see him standing there with his voice breaking and hoarse.
He slid himself off of the counter, his heavy duty boots making no sound as he paced around you, nudging your cup slightly so that it wouldn't fall. Flicking the spider away from the tap so that you didn't accidentally touch it; he knew how much you would have hated to startle the poor thing.
But then the phone rang, and Gaz frowned as he looked at the caller ID; Price. You picked it up, sniffling.
"Hey, John."
"Hey," Price sighed. "How you holding up?"
You shrugged, swiping a hand down your face. Gaz knew you were about to lie, you always did that when you were lying. "I'm okay... I'm okay..."
"The funeral's next week," Price told you. "You think you can make it?"
"I have to," you scoffed. "He was... Gaz is everything to me. I have to be there."
Gaz cleared his throat, watching as he tried to put his hand on your shoulder, only for it to sink right through. "Don't lie to him, darling. Please. He can help you."
But you didn't hear a single thing. "Look, John, I appreciate the whole caring, considerate bullshit you have going on, but I don't need it right now."
Gaz frowned, shaking his head as he begged for you to open up and to talk about it; you didn't have to suffer silently, and nor did you have to suffer alone but... but then he looked at the picture on the wall, and he sighed heavily, knowing why you were being that way.
You had always been one another's confidants and most trusted friends; there were things that you would only talk to Gaz about, just as there were things that he would only talk to you about. Forever joined at the hip. The picture on the wall, taken just after you had gotten together, only reminded him of that.
You looked so happy. So comfortable.
He paced around a little more, only to pause when you called his name.
"Kyle, I dunno if you can hear me," you murmured. "But if you can - I love you, I'm never gonna forget you. You know that, right? I dunno... I dunno if you're here, or if you've fucked off somewhere, but... I don't wanna bury you. I really don't, I mean how... how do you bury your best friend, your husband, and act like you're alright?"
Gaz swallowed hard, shaking his head as he wiped his aching eyes and moved back to you; he put his hands on the side of your head, despite his fingers sinking into you like he was made of nothing, and pressed his lips to your temple. You didn't feel anything, didn't even flinch or wonder why it had gotten so cold suddenly.
He sighed as he pulled away, moving to stand in front of you even though you couldn't see him. "I'm never leaving you. I'm not. I love you. I'll wait for you."
"I love you," you whispered, closing your eyes and sobbing quietly. "I love you. I'll wait for you. Come back. Come back to me. Please... please... Gaz, pull a pet sematary for all I care, just... come back."
"But I'm right here," he told you. "I'm already here. I'm not leaving you, I'm not going anywhere. I just... I wish you could see me. I wish you could hear me."
You moved away, shaking your head and making your way to the sofa, leaving your phone on the counter; Gaz followed, not wanting to leave you alone for even a second.
He loved you.
He wasn't going anywhere.

it's fluff and angst but, minors still do not interact!
i still can't get over that official genshin art i posted a few hours ago so here's my brain rot lmao. it isn't really anything particular or meaningful, i guess, but i wanted to write something for the art. my brain was practically itching so i'm probably going to make it up as i go :) also my writing style is probably going to be weird in this.
warning(s): character death mentioned briefly, very light angst.

it's not that diluc likes to make you worried. but he had his reasons as to why his heart fluttered when you dashed towards his cupboard to bring out the first aid kit after manhandling him into sitting down on his bed, scolding him a bit as you pulled out the antiseptic and cotton.
he doesn't remember his mother well. actually, he doesn't remember his mother at all. the closest person to a mother for him was adelinde.
who also happens to be the first person he remembers being worried for him. he was chasing after a few crystalflies in the winery yard and, just when he was about to catch one, he tripped over his own feet and fell into the ground.
adelinde rushed to him mere seconds after that, worry written in the most clear handwriting across her face as she picked him up and rushed inside the winery to treat the scrape across his knee and a few smaller wounds on his hands.
he doesn't remember much after that other than being bribed by a glass of grape juice to stop crying and waiting for his father to finish his work to get back home.
his father and kaeya were the other two who he remembered being worried for him. at least when they were kids for the latter.
one instance that stood out particularly for him was when kaeya had lost the coin crepus had given to him. their father told kaeya to keep it safe and that it was a gift from someone special. diluc does not know to what extent it was true but thinking about it as an adult made him realize that crepus was probably trying to ease kaeya's insecurities and fear.
they visited jean that day and kaeya refused to play anything with them and did not part with the coin even for a second until they finally lured him in to collecting flowers to make flower crowns for adelinde.
kaeya had only realized that he lost the coin after they reached home. diluc saw his little brother visually become smaller and more frigid the moment he realized that. he left dinner midway and dragged himself to their room pulling up the curtains around his bed.
diluc remembered trying all the tricks he knew to get him out but none of them worked. he even offered to let kaeya braid his hair! the only thing remaining was going and finding the coin.
so he sneaked out after making sure that adelinde had slept and did exactly that.
their father had never looked older than at the moment when he returned home with kaeya's coin in his right pocket. his brother's face was completely swollen and blotched, tears still leaking out of his eyes.
he practically felt the worry radiating off of his father's body as soon as he was pulled into a bone crushing hug. kaeya sneaked his hand into one of his own sometime during it and did not leave it until the next morning.
adelinde had banned him from leaving his room days after that. his adopted brother stayed with him the entire time. (well, at least kaeya still seems to have that coin, it wasn't all for naught).
after the death of his father, it felt as though there was no one really left to worry about him anymore. adelinde was still there for him, he knew that, but that still didn't help dissipate the feeling.
it was especially rough during his visit - for the lack of a better term - to snezhnaya. the fresh grief made everything feel more painful than it actually was. an amalgamation of varying emotions; everything from anger, frustration, sadness, emptiness, guilt, the need for revenge, a sense of loss and many more that he couldn't even name muddled his head and stuck with him until years to come.
so yes. diluc doesn't really like making you worry, but he also can't help falling in love just a bit more everytime you treat his would with such worry and pain reflecting in your eyes as though it was you that had gotten hurt. it almost numbs his own pain and all he can thinking about is caging you in his arms and never letting you go.
the tenderness with which you kiss all his scars everytime he gets a new one has his heart pounding into his chest with such speed that he was sure it wasn't actually good for his health, especially when you put extra time and care into caressing that big gash across his back.
he can't help melting into spot when you cuddle his head into your neck and caress his scalp with your fingers, after taking care of all of his wounds, old and new.
he can't be more grateful than at the moment when you hum a soft tune into his ear to help him sleep better, hand still entangled with his hair and body wrapped around him, hiding him away from the entire world.
you are his home.

Trap
Pairing: Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier x Original Character
Summary: Max is forced to go on a mission with Bucky once more.
Warnings: malnutrition, description of panic attack symptoms, cursing
Word Count: 4,269
Max-
I woke the next morning from another grueling nightmare covered in sweat and gasping for air. It was 4:00 A.M., too early to be up but too late to fall back asleep. I peeled the sheets away from my body, wincing at the muscles tugging at my still-scabbed side. It was better, but it should have been healed and gone by now. Its presence was evidence enough of my malnutrition, even if I physically looked as healthy as a horse. I needed to eat.
Hopping from the bed, I meandered to the small floor kitchen and snagged the cereal box out of the cupboard and made myself a bowl. Thor would be disappointed I missed our morning breakfast together, but I couldn't wait that long. I munched on my meal, taking a seat on the counter instead of the chair. The cool marble was jarring enough to clear the stupor of my mind as I shoveled another spoonful of cereal into my mouth.
After the encounter with Bucky last night, it was difficult to fall asleep. My body had quaked, and my lungs seemed to shrink and cause my breaths to be nothing more than short puffs of air. It was ridiculous.
After I finished my breakfast, I decided to take the time to use the empty training room. Bucky had taken to training most of his free time, so the machines and weights were usually unavailable to me, the whole room more or less. I avoided him as much as I could, not even daring to be in the same room for fear of what, I didn't know. I was simply uncomfortable with being close to him anymore.
It's funny, how one person can go from your very breath to something you can hardly look at without falling apart.
I spent most of the morning training. I had lost some muscle in the recent missions and was in desperate need of some protein supplements to which I stole from Sam's stash. I spent several hours using the bars for upper body and lifting as much as my body could handle on weights. I pushed myself, taking note of the subtle changes that had occurred over the past few weeks. It wasn't much, but it was enough to cause a change in my strength. Enough to weaken me.
I cursed myself, drying my hair with a towel as I took a break three hours later, seating myself on the nearest bench. The AC felt wonderful on my neck and shoulders thanks to the tank top I was sporting. I didn't want to risk the team seeing my injury. Tony would bar me from missions if he had any inclination I wasn't mission ready.
The elevator chimed a few minutes after I had taken a seat and my whole body froze up; a recently developed instinct. Blonde hair and a dashing smile had me blowing out a breath and dropping my shoulders.
Thor sauntered his way over and plopped down on the bench beside me, "You're up awfully early, Max."
I shrugged, "I couldn't fall back asleep, so I decided this was the best thing to do to occupy my time before you lazy bums decided to get out of bed."
Thor rolled his eyes, "Getting a normal 8 hours of sleep does not make us lazy. Some of us need beauty sleep." He slung his gold tresses to the side in an obnoxious manner, pulling a smile onto my face.
"Did you just come all the way down here to talk?" I was flattered that a god showed so much interest in befriending me.
He shook his head with a smile, "No, but it is one of my favorite things to do on earth. I actually came to inform you that Tony is calling a meeting with the team, and he wants us gathered in ten."
I frowned, "You know that you don't have to come all the way down here to tell me that, right? Tony has a whole AI system to work the building."
His smile turned bashful as he shook his head, "I know. I just like to tell you myself."
My neck turned red as my lips curved upwards at his words. I shoved him with my shoulder, "Come on, Thunder Boy. I'll walk with you to the meeting."
Thor's lumbering steps eagerly followed me out of the training room as he began a tangent about the most recent events on his planet. He liked to keep me updated ever since I asked him about it. Learning about the new developments on such a different planet amazed me and hearing Thor talk about it so passionately made me happy.
The closer we got to the meeting room, the more anxious and curious I became. It had been a while since the whole team had gotten together for a joint mission. I figured Tony could sense the tension within the ranks so much that he supposed it would be better for us all to have space and time away from each other. Something big must have come up to be calling us all together.
The door chimed and the two of us strode into the level, veering between the glass doors and joining those who were already seated at the table. Natasha, Steve, and Bucky sat at their respective seats on the farther side of the table. Bucky used to occupy the seat next to me, but it now sat empty to the left of the end. Thor decided to take it with a soft smile my way. I was truly grateful for his presence.
Clint was next, stumbling in bleary eyed and groggy. "Damn these early meetings. Can't anyone get some decent sleep around here?"
I shook my head at him, watching him take the empty chair opposite to Thor. "Of course not, it's in the fine print of the job description."
Clint groaned and let his head hit the metal table. "It's miserable."
Tony was next, strolling in all prim and ready to go. He slapped the file folder in his hands against the back of Clint's head, "Wake up Barton, we have a bright shining day ahead of us."
I had to clamp a hand over my mouth to contain the laugh threatening to escape as Clint covered his head and gave an ugly look to the back of Tony's perfect hair.
Tony spun around and addressed everyone at the table with a thin smile, "I would like to inform you all that I have been working with Thor on locating a very dangerous weapon that we believe has fallen into Hydra's arsenal."
My eyes widened and snapped to Thor who simply continued to listen to Tony with a grim look on his face. "His brother, as you all know, had a scepter that was believed to have returned with him to Asgard but it seems that it was intercepted in the process. Loki hid it on earth, and Hydra operatives located it. Now they possess a very unpredictable variable, the same power that created Wanda and her brother. There is no telling what it will do or what they will use it for."
Everyone seemed to pale at the news. No one else had known about their discussions, I realized, and Thor had kept it even from me.
Tony went on, "Thor and I have been trying to locate where Hydra was moving or keeping it. We had been unsuccessful until now. The scepter gave off a power surge near the eastern sea and we believe that they are trying to move it to a more secure location to keep us from detecting it further. The window is small, and the only people available for this mission are those sitting at this table."
I noted that two of our most powerful members, Wanda and Vision, were nowhere to be found. The two were often sent to monitor other situations and I figured that they were doing so now. It would be a severe setback in our ranks, but each of those seated here had their own talents that would still benefit us greatly.
What small smile Tony had managed to keep on his face fell away before his next words, and his eyes seemed to fall on me with a sort of plead held in them. "Barnes, Max, you two will be on the front lines."
I balked at him, "You're joking."
His brows pulled together with a stiff shake of his head. Bucky glared at the table in front of him with his fists clenched. "You two are our strongest offense and your teamwork is refined even if you two are at odds right now. We need that kind of manpower to get through their defenses. I need everyone else stationed around the area to wait as backup and cover our blind spots. We can't allow them to call in for reinforcements or pull any surprises on us."
I grit my teeth and sank deeper into my seat.
"Thor, I want you to cause a storm if you can. Keep their communications down and take out any arial defense they might try to use." Thor nodded, the only response he gave Tony. The brunette's attention turned to Steve next, "I need you and Natasha to take out any scouts or watchers they might have as quietly as possible so Barnes and Max can get in and locate the scepter." Another nod from the two of them. "Barton, you'll take out anyone they might miss. That's all for now, go suit up. We will go over all the details on the Quinnjet."
With that, I stood from the table and left. Rage roiled in my veins as I stalked towards the staircase, opting to take them over the confines of the elevator that the others were bound to use. The closer I got to the launch pad, the more the anger consumed me. Why would Stark put us together when he knows that something changed between us? Everyone knew that something happened, we were never even seen on the same floor now. And then that thing with Natasha...
I felt the railing of the stairs crunch under my hand as I took the last step onto the Heli-level. The rest of the team was already bustling around, finalizing their gear and loading equipment into the hangar. I B-lined for my locker, swinging it open and snagging my suit from within. I had requested for a new one, and I was not disappointed by Tony's fulfillment of it.
Burgundy fabric, trimmed with black and silver. I was sick of the dried blood that was visible on my old suit, and the white fabric had begun to turn a sickeningly yellow orange from the layers of missions. The new suit fit much like the last, fitting my curves and hugging my skin. I zipped it up to my throat and secured it there, leaning over to lace and strap on my shoes as another body sank to the remaining bench beside me.
"You have to promise me not to gut Barnes out there in the field for whatever happened between you two."
I turned my face to Tony, catching his arms folding in front of his chest. I let myself frown at him, "I wouldn't hurt anyone on the team."
Tony gave me a pointed look that said he knew that was not entirely true, "You broke his nose in a training session not that long ago."
I shook my head, finishing the knot on my shoe and leaning back up. "He deserved it, he cracked my ribs in that match."
A sigh forced itself out of him as he rubbed a hand over his face, "Just promise me, Max."
I shrugged, "Fine. I promise I won't kill Barnes. Happy?"
He just stared at me for a moment before nodding slowly, his shoulders dropping. "Are you ever going to tell me what happened between you two? You were so happy, then you came back from that mission, and it was like the coin flipped."
Instead of answering, I latched my sword to my back and strapped on my knives. When I couldn't find anything else to do besides answer him, I turned back towards him on the bench. "It isn't a big deal. He doesn't like me, and I don't like him. I will make sure the mission is successful just like I always do, and then he and I can go back to ignoring each other until you decide to throw us together again."
He flinched but didn't say anything else as I snatched my mask out of the bottom of the locker and slammed the door.
I marched over to the hanger to find most of the others strapping themselves into the seats. Thor gave me a smile, but I wasn't in the mood for talking. Or listening. I chose the farthest seat without a second thought and pressed the mask onto my face until the final snap of metal echoed in my ears.
I watched the team through the black eyes of my mask as Tony lifted the hangar and strode to the cockpit for takeoff. Thor had taken to frowning at the wall of the jet and flickering his gaze toward Bucky every once in a while. The latter sat with his hands clenched together between his knees and his head down. Natasha picked at her nails next to Steve who was leaned against the wall with his eyes closed. Clint and Thor were the only ones seated on the same side I sat on. None of us talked as the jet shook with turbulence.
I turned my attention to my hands, flexing my fingers and pinching my brows in focus as I forced my nails outwards. The act alone was hard, and a small sliver of worry opened up inside me. I pressed my elbow to my side as smoothly as I could to avoid drawing attention. The wound beneath my suit ached at the contact and I stifled a hiss.
I would have to be more careful to avoid any contact on that side or I'll be sidelined for sure. The team needed my skillset on this mission otherwise Tony wouldn't have dared to put Bucky and I in the same vicinity. So, I would grin and bear it until I could get back to the Tower.
I lifted my head to find a pair of eyes watching me from across the jet. Bright and blue and hard. He couldn't see the way I frowned or the pain I was sure swam in my eyes at the sight of him, not while I hid it beneath the skull and teeth. All he saw was what he had wanted to see.
A killer.
His eyes didn't stay on me long before they dropped back to his lap, and I eased into my seat. I figured it would be best if I rested for now and try to heal some more before our mission. Thor wouldn't let anything happen to me, so my nerves calmed as the ever-present exhaustion swept me away.
_____
Bucky-
I saw her flinch. A jolt of her shoulders and a sharp breath was all the indication I needed to realize something was wrong. She had made the movement nearly imperceptible, but I saw it.
I hadn't meant to look at her, to even acknowledge her until it was absolutely necessary, but my body still betrayed me whenever she was near. I still gravitated towards her, still couldn't keep myself from listening to every breath she took, every movement she made.
It was torture.
I sat there watching as her head slumped forward in her sleep. That was another thing. Max had apparently been sleeping more often. I had overheard Thor talking to Tony about it one morning before I had entered and the two of them had shut up like clams. They didn't ever talk about her near me. It was good, I didn't want to know any more about her. She was a monster, plain and simple.
Thor had taken to glaring at me any time I was around. He's been glued to her ever since they first met. It was frustrating, seeing her with him. Watching her laugh so easily and smile so much. I knew I shouldn't feel that way. I had no reason to be jealous, she was a killer and nothing more. He just didn't know her.
I tried to bide my time going over the mission details in my head and listen to the whir of the jet as we flew. Steve had fallen asleep next to me as well, his body arched over his knees with his arms resting heavily on his thighs. He has been busying himself with all kinds of paperwork I hadn't asked about. He and I might have made amends, but we still seemed to have vastly different opinions on things now. Like a switch was flipped and we just can't get back to the way we were before.
I lost myself in my thoughts somewhere along the ride and the turbulence of the landing brought me out of it and back into the situation at hand. The others had begun unbuckling and gathering up their weapons, checking ammo and packing extra cartridges where they could. I followed suit, catching Thor waking Max out of the corner of my eye.
Her body jolted at his touch and her clawed hand wrapped itself in a vise grip around the god's wrist. He held his arm up in surrender as she took in her surroundings and eased her hand away with a small drop of her shoulders. I couldn't catch what they said between each other as I stepped away, but the flash of worry across Thor's face had that rotten feeling in my chest returning. I strode over to the ammunition and slotted a few extra cartridges into my pants pockets and checked my guns. I shifted my shoulder, flexing my fingers to ensure there weren't any issues before we headed into the head of the fight. After I made sure everything was set, I joined Steve at the front of the jet.
He gave me a tight smile and clamped a hand on my shoulder. "Be careful out there Buck, we don't know what we'll be going into. Make sure you keep an eye on Max too. Don't let her stab you in the back while were out there."
All I could do was nod as I heard her subtle steps approach behind me. Her voice trickled out from behind her mask in a sickly-sweet tone that had a shiver spidering down my spine. "Luckily for you, the only people I plan on stabbing in the back today is Hydra. Maybe next time, Captain." She accented his title in heavy Russian that seemed to become more prominent on missions like this.
I turned my head just enough to view her over my shoulder as my friend turned to face her with a deep frown marking his features. In her new suit, red as blood, and that mask... She looked like the devil.
"Alright team, remember the plans and stick to your parts. We can't get the scepter without cooperation so we can fight later. Focus on the mission." Tony's suit folded itself over him as he spoke and clamped over his head as he finished his sentence.
The hanger opened and Max shot out into the tall grass, hunkering low and disappearing out of sight. I shoved myself out of the hanger and dove into the brush after her, doing my best to follow the trail of downed grass as I went. Surprisingly, her red suit was almost impossible to see against the tall shrubbery. Her form was simply too low to the ground for anyone to catch the obnoxious color.
I nearly toppled over her as I stumbled to a halt behind her in the brush. I peered over her shoulder to scan the area around us, carefully placing a foot or so between us. The silver teeth of her mask glinted in the afternoon sun, and she tucked her head lower to keep it from drawing attention.
Her face turned to me, and my stomach hollowed at the black eyes of her mask, flashes of the past threatening to take me far into my mind before she shoved my shoulder harshly. "Keep a level head. Rogers and the others are taking out the scouts and then we'll move in." I couldn't help but catch the way she practically spit his name. I could imagine clear as day the angry curl of her lip at the mention of my friend.
I shook my head to clear away the fog and focused on the shadowed figures of our team moving in on the guards against the fence line. The Hydra we had targeted set up a camp, obviously to move as easily as they could without drawing too many eyes. They were simple tents and the smoke from a few fires went up in dark tendrils into the sky. Quite a few soldiers roamed the area, but fortunately for us none of them seemed to be carrying more than a handgun or the few semi-automatics.
I watched as the guards on watch began to drop like flies, the distinct sound of Steve's shield flying through the air carried on the wind. It was nearly as imperceptible as Natasha's choke wire.
As soon as the last body dropped to the ground Max was moving, staying as low to the ground as she could. I followed her once more, easing into the gap the others had provided. It was a limited window to breach while the rest of the watch hadn't noticed their fallen comrades. Max eased around the tents, easily weaving her way through the narrow trails between them while I struggled to keep my shoulders from brushing against the sides.
Brown hair peaked over one of the tents in front of Max and her body stilled, rising ever so slowly as he rounded the corner and came face to face with her. He barely had time to open his mouth before her hands were gripping his head and twisting. The snap of his neck echoed in my ears as she eased his body to the ground and maneuvered it to appear as if he had just fallen asleep. "We can't let them know we've entered the camp. Keep your attacks as quiet as you can and limit the blood."
I kept my voice as low as I could. "We need to locate the scepter."
She shrugged, peering around another tent before heading deeper into the camp. "Feel free to take off and look for it on your own."
"We have to stay together." I followed after her, shooting a glance backwards to ensure we hadn't been noticed.
Max's voice was anything but kind as she replied, "We don't have to stay together, the mission is to find the scepter."
"As a team."
Her head snapped towards me, and her tone was biting and venomous, "And how well did that work out for us last time? As far as I'm concerned, I'm better off without you."
Her words stung, and I couldn't do much more than grit my teeth as she turned away and stalked onward. Thunder cracked above us, and the clouds began roiling in the sky. Thor must have sensed airborne enemies.
I didn't follow her. If she wanted to be alone, fine, she could be alone. I turned towards the opposite direction and began to make my way through the other side of the camp. I checked each tent, waiting outside and listening in on who was inside. If I didn't hear anyone, I ducked my head in and scanned the area for any signs of a Commander's tent. Something as precious to Hydra as the scepter wouldn't be kept very far from someone important and trusted.
I had made it around most of the eastern side of the encampment, and still there was no sign of a Commander or general. In fact, the whole camp was scarce, save for a few agents here and there. There didn't seem to be any distinct tent for the higher ups, which unsettled me greatly.
A hand on my shoulder had me reeling back my left arm to strike, only to land the punch against thin air and receive a foot to the ass. I stumbled a few steps before I whipped around with a curse. Max merely looked around for anyone close by before removing her mask. Worry swam on her features as she squatted against the side of one of the tents.
Her knuckles were white against the knife gripped in her hand. "Comms are down. We're in here blind."
I pressed my fingers to my ear to confirm her words and the crackle of static trickled into my ears. I cursed, "The others should be holding their positions. It shouldn't be that hard to find the scepter and get out of here. There aren't many guards-"
"That's the thing," she swiveled her blade around her finger, one of her nervous habits. "Why wouldn't you guard something with all the men you could spare?"
Her words sank like a rock in my head. "It isn't here, is it?"
Cold eyes met my own, glinting in that predatory way. "No, and we crawled right into their trap."

Outside of the Fox
Chapter 23 of 30
1389 words
Y/N longs for a new life when the one she'd been living comes to an abrupt stop. Without much thought to those she is leaving behind, the little fox packs a backpack and disappears. She stumbles across the shelter and makes an interim home for herself while she works out exactly what she wants from her second chance.
Last
Namjoon is a proud man. You had worked that out when you started offering to pay for things. He hated feeling like someone thought he couldn't provide for his own family. And Jin's innocent attempt to offer advice had clearly weighed heavily on his shoulders.
A few days had passed since the failed lunch date and Namjoon was still stomping around the house. He slammed cupboard doors, grumbled under his breath, and was just making life miserable for everyone else as they worked to tread on eggshells around him.
It didn't help that Jungkook was also pouting. He wouldn't let Namjoon into his room which only upset the bear further. Every evening Jungkook dragged you with him to bed and left Namjoon sleeping alone in your room. Neither of them had talked about the date since.
From the small conversations you had managed to get with Namjoon, he was heavily blaming Jin for this sudden behaviour change in Jungkook. Assuming it was the accusation that they needed help that was upsetting Jungkook, rather than Namjoon's attitude. You rolled your eyes behind his back but tried to let the dust settle a bit more before bringing up Jungkook's real issues.
But the problem just seemed to be growing, taking over Namjoon's entire mindset as he slipped from angry to depressed.
"We need to sort this out." Jimin comments.
You were sat with Jimin, Taehyung, and Yoongi in the living room, watching Namjoon closely. The bear was stomping around the kitchen trying to make lunch for himself but it was clear his attention kept shifting to Jungkook's closed bedroom door.
"I think he has every right to be mad about what Jin said," Yoongi shrugs.
Yoongi had been almost as annoyed as Namjoon for the first couple of days. He was better at controlling his annoyance but it had been evident in the slight spice that invaded his scent. While he had slowly calmed himself down, the leader of the pack didn't have the same inclination to let things go.
"I'm not sure he does..." You say, earning a glare from Yoongi and a curious glance from Jimin.
You had been waiting patiently for days to bring up the prospect of getting Jungkook some help but you had been weary of approaching Namjoon like this. He had already cut off all contact with Jin and he had been falling head over heels, you didn't really want to risk your own position in the house. However, as time went on it became more apparent that the right time was never going to come.
You swallow hard and prepare yourself to risk everything you have built.
"I think we need to have a family meeting." You state, sounding far more confident than you felt.
______________
So on Sunday morning, you found yourself sitting in a circle in the living room once more. All eyes flit between you and Namjoon, waiting for either of you to speak. The air feels too warm as you loosen your collar.
"Why have you called a meeting Y/N?" Namjoon asks.
"We need to talk about what Jin said."
"I don't want to talk about it." He huffs.
"Tough, it's time."
You try your best to level him with a glare, challenging him to tell you no. He grumbles to himself again but makes no effort to leave or to speak.
"Fine, I will start. Namjoon you can't keep walking around the house like this. It's uncomfortable for everyone."
"It's my house I'll do what I damn well please." He growls
"It's our house Namjoon." Yoongi snaps back.
Tension runs high between the pair of them as they stare each other down, low growls in their throats. Jungkook takes the opportunity to pull Jimin away from Taehyung and into his lap, hiding behind him as the anger in the room becomes palpable. Hoseok shrinks back into the chair he has chosen, not used to the displays of animal aggression.
You start to wonder if you should try to butt in again and get a proper conversation flowing when Namjoon relents and sighs heavily. He rubs his hands across his temple, and Yoongi settles back into his seat satisfied.
"I just can't stand how judgemental everyone is about Jungkook. I try my best you know. It just feels like everyone has an opinion and it's always critical. No one ever comments on the progress he has made." Namjoon says.
The anger in his eyes has faded to defeat. Your heart breaks for him as the tears gather on his waterline. Jimin reaches across to bridge the gap between the armchair and the sofa, taking ahold of the older man's hand.
"Was it this bad when I accidentally mentioned it too?" You whisper to Yoongi.
He shakes his head no.
"I think this is because he has gotten to know Jin, and maybe because Jin is a professional?" Yoongi whispers back.
Namjoon continues to apologise for his actions, words tumbling for his lips as he searches for explanations and excuses. He looks sheepishly at Jungkook as he talks, obviously trying to gauge his reactions, not wanting to trigger the bunny.
Jungkook has his face buried into Jimin's shoulder, his arms wrapped tight around the panda's waist, but otherwise, he seems unaffected.
"I just can't stand thinking we aren't doing what is best for Jungkook." He finishes.
"Then maybe we should start talking about therapists." You point out.
But even with his apology, it is clear that Namjoon isn't fond of that idea.
"No." He says flatly.
"Why not?" You ask.
"Because... because... because we are enough for Kookie, he doesn't need anyone else, and it will only make him worse if we force him to talk to someone else." He stumbles over his response.
"And have you actually asked Jungkook if that's what he wants?" Tahyung asks, taking some of the pressure off of you.
"I think I know what Jungkook wants." Namjoon counters, the anger returning to his voice.
"I want to be better!" The bunny yells, surprising the room.
You all turn to stare at the man and he continues.
"I want to be better. I want to be able to talk to Jin, and take Y/N on dates, and go shopping on a weekend when it's busy. I want... I want to be okay."
You all turn your attention back to Namjoon. He is looking very introspective, unsure of what he can say next.
"Okay..." He relents, clearly conflicted. "But we might have to wait a little while... money is a little bit too tight right now."
"No it isn't" Taehyung interjects. "I will pay for Jungkook's therapy, and anything else we need."
"Taehyung we can't ask you to do that." Namjoon protests.
"You're not asking, and I'm not offering, I am telling you. I WILL pay for anything Jungkook needs. Anything any of you need."
"But, but it's my job to provide." Namjoon says, his tone getting watery
"You cannot provide for six packmates all by yourself, and I have the money. Stop being stubborn and let me take care of you too."
"And me for that matter." You back Tae up. "I have some money from my marriage and I think it's time I put it to good use."
"I can't let you use your money for us. You should use it for yourselves and what you like." Namjoon tries to argue again.
"Well I like you, so that's what I am spending my money on." Taehyung states, shutting down any further conversation on the matter.
"In actual fact... I want to spend as much of my money as possible on you." He continues. "And I thnk we can all use a break, Let's go to the beach."
"I've never been to the beach," Jungkook perks up.
"Even more reason to go. Everyone take some time off, and lets go." Taehyung grins
"Namjoon needs to apologise to Jin first though." Jimin says.
"Yeah... I will." The bear says looking uncomfortable.
"Great, and what better way to apologise than offering him a free vacation." Taehyung says.
And with that, you all begin to disband and go about the remainder of your days. You can't help but overhear as Jimin turns to Jungkook
"You only want to take Y/N on dates?" Jimin says pouting, making the bunny all flustered.

Y/n found themselves seated at a wooden table in the Potions classroom, their ink-stained fingers drumming nervously against the cool surface as they awaited their partner. The familiarity of the setting, the musty smell of old parchment and potion ingredients, was oddly comforting. But something felt off today.
The classroom door swung open, and a girl with raven-black hair, her eyes sparkling with mischief, glided in, her group of friends following after her. She took her seat across the room with a coy smile, adjusting her pale green robes. Y/n couldn't help but notice the way she fidgeted with her delicate gold bracelets, the same ones he'd seen her wear in every other class they'd shared.
Y/n tuned back in as the infamous Harry Potter walked through the door, “… to detail in the preparation is the prerequisite of all…” Slughoorn cuts himself off once he sees him, “Ah. Harry, old boy. I was beginning to worry.”
Harry hesitates, “I've got someone with me, I see.” He gestures to the red head beside him
“Ron Weasley, Sir.” the boy said awkwardly, the tips of his ears turning red, “I'm dead awful at potions, I'm menaced actually, so I'll probably just go.”
“Nonsense. We'll sort you out.” The professor laughs, “Any friend of Harry's is a friend of mine. Get your books out.”
“Sorry, Sir, I haven't actually got my book yet. Nor does Ron.”
“Not to worry, then, get you one from the cupboard.” He gestures towards an old bookcase, “Now, as I was saying, I prepared some concoctions this morning. Any ideas what these might be?” Y/n was holding a hand over their mouth trying to stifle the snickers coming from him as he watched Harry and Ron fight over the last remaining good book. “Yes, Miss…” Slughorn trails off not remembering her name.
“Granger, Sir,” she reminds, “That one there is Veritaserum, It's a truth-telling serum. And that one…” She states.
“Terribly tricky to make” Slughorn chimes in.
“And this is Amortentia. The most powerful love potion in the world, It's rumored to smell differently to each person according to what attracts them.” She points to a pink potion, the fumes coming from it forming into hearts, “For example, I smell freshly mown grass and new parchment and spearmint toothpaste…” She breaths, backing away quickly
Intrigued Y/n breathed in, It was the smell wafting around in their classroom that got their heart to flutter, Dior perfume, nail polish, and a cretin type of cinnamon alcohol.
Slughorn nods, impressed at her knowledge, “Now, amortentia doesn't create actual love, that'd be impossible, but it does cause powerful infatuation or obsession. Whispers and giggles float around the room from the girls, discussing who they would use it on. “And for that reason, it is probably the most dangerous potion in this room.” he eyes the girls knowingly.
“Sir, you haven't told us what's in that one.” Y/n points out, looking at the vile with clear liquid.
“Ah, yes.” Slughor claps his hands together, “What you see before you, ladies and gentlemen, is a curious little potion known as Felix Felicis. But it is more commonly referred to as…” he raises a brow waiting for an answer. A hand shoots up, “Yes, Miss Granger?”
“Liquid luck.”
“Desperately tricky to make, disastrous should you get it wrong.” He nods, “One sip and you'll find that all of your endeavors succeed. At least until the effects wear off.” He chuckles, “So, this is what I offer each of you today.” He holds the tiny vile up, “One tiny vial of liquid luck to the student who, in the hour that remains manages to brew an acceptable draft of Living Death. Recipes for which can be found on page 10 of your books.” He gestures to their tables, ”You should not doubt however: Only once did a student manage to brew a potion of sufficient quality to claim this price. Nevertheless, good luck to you all. Let the brewing commence.”
The professor paired them up for the brewing exercise, and to their surprise, Y/n found themselves partnered with Pansy Parkinson. They exchanged a brief nod before gathering their ingredients and supplies. As they began to work together, they found themselves growing more comfortable with each other. Pansy was surprisingly knowledgeable about potions, and Y/n's experience with brewing seemed to come in handy.
Despite their initial reservations about being partnered with her, Y/n couldn't help but find Pansy rather fascinating. Her obsessive fiddling with her bracelets and the way she'd stare off into space, lost in her own thoughts, made her seem mysterious and intriguing. And when she'd catch them staring, she'd blush ever-so-slightly, adding an extra layer of interest.
They worked together seamlessly, measuring ingredients and stirring the pot with practiced ease. As they did so, they chatted about their favorite books and subjects, discovering that they had more in common than they'd ever imagined. Even Pansy's pet peeve about people relating her name to the flower, didn't seem quite so annoying anymore as Y/n blinked up at her, asking the question.
"Oh, well, it's just… people always assume that I'm this delicate, fragile flower, when I'm really not." Pansy huffed, adjusting her bracelets. "My sister, on the other hand, she's the real flower. Always has been. I was just named after my grandmother." She shrugged, as if it didn't bother her as much as it used to. "Anyway," she continued, her voice softening, "what do you like to do for fun?"
Y/n paused for a moment, considering her answer. "Well, I enjoy reading, of course. I'm a bit of a bookworm, really. And I like to hang out with my cat in the library." he smiled, feeling a bit more at ease with Pansy. "And I'm also quite good at Quidditch, I play for my house team."
"That's impressive." Pansy smiled back, seeming genuinely interested. "I've always wanted to try Quidditch, but my parents don't approve. They say it's too dangerous." She sighed, looking a little wistful. "Anyway, enough about me. Tell me more about your cat. What's her name?"
As they continued to work together, they found themselves becoming even closer. The hour flew by, and before they knew it, their potion was complete. They were both rather proud of their work, and even Professor Slughor had to admit that it was quite good. As they presented their concoction to him, he smiled and nodded. "Excellent work, both of you. It seems that I'll have to find a new challenge for next time."
Tumblr media
After class, Y/n found themself lingering behind, unsure of whether they should just leave or not. Pansy seemed to sense their hesitation and turned to face them. "Well, this was fun," she said with a small smile. "Do you want to hang out sometime, maybe? You know, outside of class?"
Y/n felt a blush creep up their cheeks and nodded. "Yeah, that sounds like fun." They glanced around, suddenly self-conscious. "Um, I mean, if you're not busy or anything."
Pansy laughed softly, shaking her head. "I'm hardly ever busy. I'd love to hang out." She paused, looking thoughtful. "How about we meet up in the library tomorrow afternoon? We can talk more about Quidditch and I get to meet your cat, if you want."
Y/n grinned. "That sounds perfect." They exchanged contact information and parted ways, both with a spring in their step. As they headed back to their common room, they couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement bubbling up inside. They'd made a new friend, and it felt like the start of something wonderful.
The next day, they met up in the library as planned. Pansy was already there, sitting at a table near the window, fiddling with her bracelets as she waited. Y/n waved at her as they entered, causing Pansy to look up and smile. "Hey," she said warmly, gesturing for them to join her. They sat down across from each other, feeling a bit more at ease now that they were out of class.
As they talked about their favorite Quidditch players and their favorite artists, Y/n's cat, Sapphire, curled up in pansy's lap, purring contentedly. Pansy seemed to enjoy petting her, and they found themselves laughing as Sapphire batted at her bracelets playfully. The afternoon flew by as they lost themselves in their conversation, not realizing how late it had gotten until Madam Prince began to shoo them out.
"Hey, it was really fun hanging out with you," Pansy said, giving Y/n a genuine smile. "Do you want to hang out again soon?"
"I'd love to," Y/n replied, feeling a blush creep up their cheeks. "Maybe we could go to Hogsmeade together sometime?"
Pansy's eyes lit up at the suggestion. "That sounds like fun! There is a new store near Honey Dukes. When do you want to go?" she asked, already planning their outing.
Y/n thought for a moment before nodding. "How about next weekend? I'm free on Saturday. we could go before the Quidditch match" They smile, making sure they had each other's schedules. As they said their goodbyes and headed back to their respective common rooms, they couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation building within them.
Tumblr media
The next few days passed by quickly, and before they knew it, it was Saturday. Y/n had woken up early, eagerly anticipating their trip to Hogsmeade with Pansy. They spent the morning carefully choosing their outfit, making sure it was both stylish and comfortable for Quidditch. Once they were ready, they met Pansy in the common room, and together they headed down to breakfast.
Breakfast was a lively affair, with many students discussing their plans for the day. Y/n couldn't help but feel a bit envious as they overheard conversations about parties and dates. They glanced over at Pansy, who was sitting across from them, and smiled. She caught their gaze and winked, giving them a reassuring smile. It was nice to know that they had someone they could rely on and look forward to spending time with.
After breakfast, they headed to the entrance of Hogsmeade, where a group of students was already forming a queue. Y/n couldn't help but feel a little nervous as they waited for their turn to go through the barrier. They kept glancing over at Pansy, who seemed completely unfazed by the whole thing. Finally, it was their turn, and they stepped through the barrier, feeling a brief thrill as they were officially in Hogsmeade.
The village was bustling with activity, and the air was filled with the scent of freshly baked goods and sweet treats. Pansy led them down the main street, pointing out various shops and landmarks. They stopped at a small café for a quick bite to eat, enjoying a warm cup of tea and some butterbeer before continuing on their way.
As they wandered around, they found themselves drawn to a small, quaint store that Pansy had mentioned earlier. The windows were adorned with colorful scarves and hats, and a warm glow emanated from within. "This is it," Pansy said with a grin, pushing open the door and stepping inside.
Inside, the store was even more charming than it had appeared from the outside. The walls were lined with shelves, each one overflowing with an array of colorful scarves and hats. A petite, red-haired woman stood behind the counter, chatting amiably with a group of students. She broke away from them when she saw Pansy and waved them over. "Hello, Pansy! How lovely to see you again. Is this your friend?"
"Yes, this is Y/n," Pansy replied, gesturing for her to come forward. "They've been wanting to check out your shop."
Y/n smiled shyly and stepped up to the counter. The woman smiled back at them, her green eyes twinkling with warmth. "Well, you've come to the right place. My name is Luna, and I own this little boutique. Let me know if you need any help finding anything in particular."
As Y/n began to browse, Pansy and Luna chatted amiably beside them. They could hear Pansy telling Luna about their Quidditch practices and the upcoming match, while Luna shared stories about her own time at Hogwarts and the adventures she'd had since then. The sound of their voices created a cozy, familiar atmosphere that made Y/n feel right at home.
Eventually, they found a scarf that caught their eye - a soft, burgundy wool with gold threading throughout. They held it up to their neck, admiring the way it draped, and then glanced over at Pansy for her opinion. She smiled at them encouragingly, so they turned back to Luna and asked her the price.
Luna told them the price, and Y/n reached into their pocket, pulling out enough money to cover it. As they handed the money to Luna, they couldn't help but notice a small, intricately carved pendant hanging from her neck. It was beautiful, with delicate swirls and curves that seemed to move whenever she turned her head. They couldn't help but be drawn to it, and before they knew it, they were asking her about it.
"Oh, this old thing?" Luna said with a laugh. "It was a gift from my grandmother. She was a traveler, and she used to tell me stories about all the places she'd been and the people she'd met. I've had it ever since she passed away." She paused, a distant look in her eyes, before continuing. "You know, sometimes I think we find things that are more than just objects. They become part of our story, part of who we are."
Y/n nodded, feeling a warmth spread through them as they listened to Luna speak. They couldn't help but wonder what kind of stories Luna's grandmother must have told her, and they found themselves wishing they could hear them for themselves. As they continued to chat, Pansy occasionally threw in a comment or a question, but for the most part, they remained focused on Luna and her stories.
Eventually, they finished browsing and paid for their scarf. Luna wrapped it up carefully and handed it to them, along with a small business card. "If you ever need anything else, or if you just want to chat, feel free to come back. I'm always here." Y/n thanked her and promised that they would.
As they left the shop, the sun was beginning to dip below the horizon, painting the sky in shades of pink and orange. Pansy led them to a small teahouse where they could sit and enjoy the view while they relaxed. They ordered some tea and a few treats, and for a while, they simply sat in comfortable silence, content to soak up the warmth and the atmosphere of the village.
"So," Pansy finally said, breaking the silence, "did you like Luna's shop?"
Y/n nodded. "It was wonderful. I loved her stories and the way she talked about her grandmother. And her shop felt so cozy" - they gestured around at the tea house, where the last of the sunlight painted the walls and the cups of tea they'd ordered glowed warmly - "it was like stepping into a little piece of her world." They took a sip of their drink and continued, "I might have to come back sometime and see if she has any more interesting things to share."
Pansy grinned. "I bet she does. Luna's always got a story or two up her sleeve. And she's got quite the collection of interesting trinkets and baubles in her shop too. You never know what you might find." They paused, looking out at the view of the village, the houses lit up against the darkening sky. "Speaking of which, do you want to go back to the shop and see if there's anything else you like before we head back to school?"
Y/n considered the offer for a moment, then shook their head. "No, I think I'm good for now. But thanks for suggesting it. It's nice to know that I have someone like Luna who I can talk to when I need a break from everything." They took another sip of their tea and leaned back in their chair, feeling a contented warmth spread through them. "I think this trip was just what I needed."
They sat in silence for a while longer, enjoying the last of the light and the peaceful atmosphere of the village. Eventually, Y/n stood up stretching, "we best be going now if you want to watch the Quidditch game" they said, glancing at Pansy. They picked up their empty tea cups and set them down on a tray, nodding to the server as they passed by.
Tumblr media
The two of them made their way back through the village, the familiar scent of autumn leaves and wood smoke hanging in the air. As they neared the school, the energy in the air began to shift, and they could hear the faint cheers and chants coming from the Quidditch pitch. Pansy led Y/n to a section of the stands that was relatively empty, giving them a good view of the field. They settled in, watching as the game got underway.
The two teams were evenly matched, Slytherin and Gryiffindor, and the players were skilled and determined. The game was fast-paced and exciting, with the score seesawing back and forth. Y/n found themselves getting caught up in the excitement, cheering along with the crowd as their favorite players soared through the air on their brooms. Pansy, on the other hand, seemed to be more interested in watching Y/n's reactions than the game itself.
As the match wore on, the tension in the air grew palpable. The crowd roared their approval whenever a player made a particularly impressive move, and groaned in disappointment when their team lost possession of the Quaffle. The snitch, a tiny golden ball that was the real prize of the game, remained elusive, darting in and out of the action, just out of reach of any of the seekers.
Finally, with only a few minutes left on the clock, the snitch appeared high above the field. The crowd held their breath as the two seekers took to the air, racing after the tiny ball. It was a nail-biting finish, but in the end, the Slytherin seeker managed to capture the snitch, winning the game for their team. The crowd erupted in cheers as the players took their bows and the Slytherin captain lifted the Quidditch Cup triumphantly into the air.
Pansy turned to Y/n with a grin. "Well, that was a great game, wasn't it? I'm glad you could enjoy it. You've got a lot of talent for Quidditch, you know. Maybe you should try out for the team next year."
Y/n blushed at the compliment. "Oh, I don't know about that. I'm just here to have fun and watch the games." They glanced back out at the field as the crowd began to disperse. "But it's true, the Slytherins played really well. They deserved to win."
As they made their way back to the castle, the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in hues of pink and orange. The air grew colder, and the stars began to twinkle in the velvety black sky. Y/n shivered slightly, wishing they could stay out a bit longer. "I can't believe it's almost winter," they said wistfully. "I hope we get more days like this before the snow starts falling."
Pansy smiled reassuringly. "Don't worry, there's still plenty of time for that. And who knows, maybe you'll find another way to enjoy the winter weather. You never know." They paused, then added, "Speaking of which, there's actually a Yule Ball coming up soon. It's not exactly Quidditch, but it's a fun way to spend an evening. Maybe you'd like to go with me?"
Y/n considered the offer, feeling a flicker of excitement in their chest. They'd heard about the Yule Ball before, but had never really thought of attending. "I'd like that," they said with a small smile. "Thanks for asking, Pansy."
