Chapter 1
She held the mermaid pendant in her hand, carefully examining it. It had seemed like it had taken weeks for the rain to come so she could finally purchase it. Sure, she could have proposed with a ring like they do in the city. It would probably have been ok, considering Kala wasn’t originally from Pelican Town. But ever since she had heard about the strange marriage tradition of this sleepy valley she knew that she had to propose like a local. “Now,” she thought to herself “All that’s left to do is to plan the proposal,”. The hot air balloon ride was quite something. “It will be difficult to top that,” Kala thought.
*** The next day Kala made her way to the clinic after completing all of her farm work for the day. She was carrying a couple of black coffees with her as usual. She entered the clinic.
  “Hi, Maru,” she said cheerfully.
“Hi Kala, are you looking for Harvey?” She asked.
“Yeah, is he free right now?”
  “Sure, go ahead,” Maru replied.
Kala approached Harvey’s office, making sure to knock before entering.
“Come in” she heard his voice through the door.
“Hi! do you have a spare 10 minutes to share a coffee with me?” Kala asked.
“Of course, I can always make time for you,” Harvey replied.
“Great,” Kala said while sitting down and handing the coffee to Harvey.
Kala took a couple of small sips , it had taken her a little while to get used to the taste of unsweetened black coffee but now she actually enjoyed it. “Um” Kala mumbled  “There is actually something I would like to ask you,”
“What is it?” enquired Harvey.
Kala felt a little nervous, but tried to act cool “It’s just like asking for a normal date,” she kept telling herself.
“Well, how would you like to go for a hike up the mountain this Sunday? It would be nice to enjoy the scenery before Summer ends, and I know you were trying to do a bit more exercise, it... it would be nice to do something like this together,” Kala was rambling.
Harvey paused for a moment. “Sure, that sounds lovely,” he replied.
“Oh! Great! Ok,” Kala found it difficult to conceal her smile “I’ll pack us a lunch, and if you meet me at my house on Sunday morning. Around 8 AM maybe? We should probably get an early start before it gets too hot”. Kala beamed.
“Sounds perfect,” Harvey said calmly as they both finished their coffees.
*** Early that Sunday morning Kala was frantically looking through her wardrobe. “Should I just wear something cute and comfortable? Maybe I should wear something a bit fancier? This will probably be a day to remember” She thought. The time was quickly approaching 8 AM. The packed lunch was ready and waiting in the fridge, the pendant was hidden in her backpack but Kala was still so anxious. Kala glanced at the clock.
“Oh! Gotta hurry, he’ll be here any minute!”
She quickly threw on her usual denim dungarees, a white flowy blouse and fixed a ribbon in her hair. At that moment there was a knock on her door.
  “I’m coming,” Kala shouted.
She ran over and opened the door.
“Good morning,” Harvey greeted Kala with a beaming smile.
  “Good morning!”
Harvey was standing there wearing brown shorts, a light green polo shirt, a sweatband and had quite a large backpack.
“You certainly look ready to hike,” Kala commented.
“Haha, yeah I guess you don’t see me like this that much..” Harvey said, blushing slightly.
“Come in for a minute, I’m nearly ready. I just need to put the lunch away and put some sunscreen on,''
Kala gestured for Harvey to come in. Despite how long Kala and Harvey had known each other this was the first time Harvey had been inside Kala’s house. He cautiously entered and stood in the living room.
“Take a seat, don’t be shy,” Kala said.
  “Thank you,”
Harvey sat down on the blue sofa and glanced around the room. Kala placed their packed lunch inside her backpack, quickly checking to make sure the pendant was still there. It was. She gave a quiet sigh of relief. Then she took her sun cream and began applying it to her face.
“I presume you’re already wearing sun protection,” Kala said to Harvey.
“Yeah, I’ve got to be careful with this pale skin of mine,” Harvey replied with a chuckle.
Once Kala was finished applying her sun cream she placed her backpack on her back with a thud.
“Ok, I’m ready when you are!” She declared.
  “Alright, let’s go,” Harvey said.
Kala led the way up the mountain path. The light shimmered through the leaves of the trees similar to how the sun reflects off of a pool of calm water. The cicadas in the distance gently hummed and the birds sang sweetly. A gentle breeze rustled through the foliage and danced around Kala’s ponytail. It was altogether a beautiful late-summer’s day. After several minutes of hiking Kala could hear Harvey’s breath become louder and his footsteps became slower. Kala turned to him and smiled.
“How’re you doing back there? Keeping up?”
Harvey’s face was bright pink and beads of sweat were forming on his forehead. Harvey let out a heavy sigh.
“Yeah, just about managing.” He paused “I’ve still got a long way to work on my fitness though, could we slow down a little?”
“Of course!” Kala slowed her pace and walked side-by-side with him.
*** They had been walking for a couple of hours now and the summer heat was really beginning to intensify.
“I think we’re nearly at the summit,” Kala said eagerly.
  “I…*pant*… can’t …*pant*… wait…” replied Harvey.
Kala picked up her pace a little, making her way to the next clearing. She stopped suddenly.
“We’re here, we’re here!” She jumped up and down excitedly. “The view is amazing!” Kala exclaimed.
Harvey hiked up as quickly as he could, panting the entire way. When he had caught his breath he looked up and took in the view.
  “Wow,” he whispered.
The mountains appeared to go on forever with Zuzu city nestled neatly in the valley. It looked so small from this distance.
“So? Shall we stop here and eat?” Kala asked.
“Yeah, I definitely need a break,” Harvey replied.
Kala took out a picnic blanket from her bag and carefully placed it on the ground. Harvey sat down and began gulping water from his backpack. She removed a few boxes from her bag and began opening them to reveal some tasty-looking sandwiches, cherry tomatoes and various other cutely-cut veggies and fruits.
“Ok, let’s eat,” She said enthusiastically.
  “Looks delicious” Harvey smiled.
                                                                ***
The lunch went down well.
“That was wonderful as usual,” Harvey said. Kala blushed.
  “Thank you,” She paused.
“Um, actually, I also brought some wine, if you’d like,” Kala rummaged around in her backpack and produced a bottle with a clearly homemade label. “It’s starfruit wine, I’ve been producing it all summer, it’s meant to be delicious!”
“Oh! That does look good!” Harvey said with a glimmer in his eyes “…but, I’m not sure about drinking it now, maybe later, after the walk?”
  “Oh, yeah, sure,”
Kala looked a little disappointed but returned the bottle to her bag. They sat in silence for a little while. She couldn’t stop herself from tapping her fingers nervously. Her heart was pounding. She slipped her hand inside her backpack to check for the pendant. She felt around but could not find it. Kala started to panic a little. She picked up the bag and began digging through it furiously, still no luck.
“Is everything alright?” Asked Harvey, concerned by the worry on Kala’s face.
“Um, … uhh,” Kala wasn’t sure if she should be honest or try to pretend everything was ok. “Well, I think I’ve lost something,” she confessed.
“Oh, what have you lost? Let me help you look for it,”
“Um! Actually it’s ok! I’ll look for it myself,” Kala replied sharply, a mixture of anxiety and embarrassment on her face.
“How could I lose something so important, I’m such an idiot,” She thought to herself.
“Ok then,” Harvey said, looking confused and slightly hurt.
Kala’s eyes darted quickly around the area. Then she saw it, glinting in the sun on the edge of their picnic blanket. Relief washed over her. Harvey’s eyes were drawn to where she was looking. He squinted. He couldn’t quite make it out at first, but then he realised what he was looking at.
“Oh!” He exclaimed and picked it up. He hadn’t seen a mermaid pendant in person before but he could tell exactly what it was by the stories he had heard.
“Is.. is this what you were looking for?” He couldn’t quite believe it.
“Ye.. yes!” Kala stuttered and blushed deeply.
Harvey looked stunned. “W.. wait. You realise what this means here, right?”
“Yes of course!” Kala said, slightly annoyed.
“…and, you were planning on giving it to me today?” Harvey asked, still not quite able to accept what was happening.
“Yes! Harvey, you’re smart, kind, hard-working and always there for me. I love you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you,”
Harvey’s eyes were glistening. “I… I’m not sure what to say. But, I accept!” Harvey leaned in to embrace Kala. He squeezed her tightly.
“It’s hard to believe someone like you would want to marry someone like me,” He said.
“What do you mean? You’re so wonderful, I was so nervous that you might decline,” Kala had tears in her eyes.
“How about that wine now, huh?” She said while wiping her face.
“Well, I guess one glass won’t hurt” He chuckled.                                                           *** Chapter 2
Kala and Harvey sipped their wine leisurely while watching the world slowly go by. The birds soared high above their heads and darted around playfully. Curious squirrels jumped from branch to branch, while leaves fell slowly around the couple like confetti.
“This wine really is delicious,” Harvey announced.
“It tastes even better under the circumstances” chuckled Kala.
Harvey smiled. The sun glistened through the golden liquid. They finished their glasses and Kala went to rest her head on Harvey’s lap.
  “This is nice,” she hummed.
“I’m so happy” replied Harvey as he gave Kala a peck on her forehead. After a little while of bathing in the glow of their feelings of bliss Kala slowly stood up.
“I suppose we should make our way back now.” Kala yawned.
Harvey groaned as he stood up.
“I still can’t believe you would want to marry an old man like me,” he said half-jokingly. Kala gave him a swift kiss on the cheek.
“You’re not that old” She smiled.
Harvey and Kala made their way back down the mountain with the evening sun warming their backs.
*** Kala unlocked her front door and flung her backpack onto the couch. Harvey followed her inside to the kitchen. Kala began pouring two glasses of cool water.
“Here you go,” Kala passed one of the glasses to Harvey and took a big gulp from her own glass.
“Thank you,” Harvey took a large sip. Beads of sweat were still forming on both of their faces and their hair was damp as if they had been caught in the rain. Kala pushed her fringe to one side and examined the droplets on her hand.
“We could both use a shower,” Kala snickered. “Do you want to stay for a bit? We could get cleaned up, have some dinner and finish that wine...” Kala questioned, sheepishly.
Harvey hesitated for a second or two then replied. “We shouldn’t let that wine go to waste, should we?”
Kala smiled.
“Do you want to have a shower first? I can get you a spare towel, and um…” Kala paused to think. “I don’t think I have any spare clothes that would fit you…” Kala looked disappointed.
“It’s ok. I brought a spare shirt actually,” Harvey piped.
Kala raised an eyebrow before quickly turning away to find that extra towel. She didn’t know whether Harvey had ulterior motives from the start or if he was just well-prepared. “No, no, Harvey isn’t that kind of guy,” Kala thought to herself. “It must just be the romance of the day making me think about these kinds of things.” She followed up her train of thought.
“Here you are!” Kala beamed and handled Harvey a bright blue and green towel.
“Thank you,”
“You can use any of the soaps and shampoos in there, none of it is particularly special,” Kala chirped.
“Sure, thank you,” Harvey headed off towards the bathroom.
Kala wandered back to the kitchen and heard the shower turn on. “It’s pretty nice having someone else around the house, and pretty soon it will always be like this” She pondered and smiled as she began to chop up some veggies. Kala was placing the wine glasses on the table as she heard the bathroom door unlock. She peered over. Harvey was wearing a casual pale shirt and black boxer-briefs. Kala quickly turned away and blushed intensely. “Oh dear, was he not finished getting dressed?” She asked herself. Harvey came around the corner drying his hair with the towel. He saw Kala’s red cheeks.
“Oh sorry, I must have forgotten to pack some spare trousers,” Harvey blushed a little.
“I.. I didn’t think you would mind, seeing as we’re engaged now,” Harvey added.
“Er... Of course not. I was just a little shocked that’s all,” Kala said flustered and trying to hold back a nervous laugh.
“Anyway.. you must be hungry. Let’s eat! I’ll grab a shower a bit later,” Kala announced.
“Ok,” Harvey took a seat at the dining table.
Kala poured out the remaining wine and served up some grilled salmon with steamed broccoli, green beans and carrots.
“Smells delicious” He said as they both dug in.
*** The couple had cleaned their plates and finished their glasses.
Harvey leaned back in his chair as he mused, “That was divine, thank you,” Kala was already pouring out the remainder of the bottle between her and Harvey’s glasses.
“I’m glad you enjoyed it,”
“Woah, woah, slow down. I’m already getting tipsy here,” He feigned protest.
Kala continued until both glasses were full. “We can’t let this go to waste now, can we?” She grinned brazenly. “Besides, we’re celebrating!”
“O..okay,” He blushed as he indulged his fiancee, then took another sip.
The night continued on as they nursed their drinks and chatted about trivial things. After a while Kala suddenly sat up straight in her chair,
“Oh! I should go get myself in the shower before the alcohol takes hold,” she proclaimed but her cheeks were already flushed.
She wandered over to the bathroom and shortly after Harvey heard the water raining down from across the house. He continued to sip from his glass but could feel his eyelids becoming heavy. Kala emerged from the bathroom after some time, longer than her usual shower. By this point the alcohol had clouded her judgement to the point where she thought donning her silky, sheer stockings, and lacy black underwear was a good idea. Her face flushed a deep red as she prepared to unveil herself to Harvey.
“...ok, I’m finished,” She called out across the hallway.
No reply. Not wanting to continue shouting she began to cautiously tiptoe her way back to the dining room. She took each step more slowly than usual, in an attempt to keep her footing against the smooth wooden floor in her brand-new, glossy stockings. Kala could hear the familiar ticking of the clock and the more peculiar sound of gentle and rhythmic sighing. As Kala drew closer to the dining room the scene became clear. Harvey’s head on the table, cradled by his arms. He was quietly snoozing. Kala grinned, it had been a busy day after all.
“Ok, let’s get you to bed then,” she spoke softly to him.
“mm hm,” Harvey replied in his half-conscious state.
Kala gently removed his glasses and brushed his hair away from his face. She lifted under his arms to encourage him to stand. Him began to wake a little, but was not completely aware of his surroundings.
“Where are we going?” he mused.
“To bed,” she smiled innocently.
Kala draped his right arm over her shoulders to support him as he took each wobbly step.
“Ok, sounds good,” He yawned. Eventually they made it to the bedroom. Kala sat Harvey down on her double bed and instinctively he laid down and pulled the covers up to his chin. Kala stumbled around to the other side of the bed and joined him under the covers.
“Good night, my love,” She whispered then gently placed a kiss on his forehead.
“Mmm,” He smiled then began to snore.
*** The sunlight began to burst through the curtains and creeped it’s way onto the couple’s bodies. The brightness and gentle warmth woke Harvey. He squinted through the drowsiness and took some time to become aware of his surroundings. Once he realised where he was he bolted upright in shock. He immediately noticed a warm heaviness tugging at his arm. Kala was still sleeping soundly while latched onto his arm. He smiled as her angelic face before realising the implications of the situation. He frantically searched his memories for what might have occurred the previous evening, before accepting the fact that he could not recall anything past dinner. Harvey began to get out of bed. Kala started to stir as she felt the disturbance. Her eyes slowly opened but remained heavy with sleep.
“Good morning,” she yawned. She sat up and stretched, revealing her lacy lingerie.
“G..g..g good morning,” Harvey blushed and sputtered out the words. In his mind, his partner’s attire had confirmed his suspicions.
Kala noted his expression and recalled the previous evening. Before she could set Harvey’s mind at ease he spoke.
“Kala, I’m so sorry,” He looked distraught.
“It’s ok! Every-,” Harvey cut her off.
“No! It’s not ok. You… you were vulnerable and I…,” Kala had a puzzled expression on her face.
He continued. “I took advantage of you,” Harvey averted his gaze.
“You what?” Kala questioned.
“Clearly, I had too much to drink and, and…”
“Harvey, wait,” She commanded his attention, “What do you think happened last night?”
“Um, well. We had some drinks with dinner and then we must have gone to bed together,” He paused. “But, we were intoxicated and so I fear I may have pressured you,” He sighed. “... and I don’t even remember it,”
Kala smirked, then could no longer hold back her laughter.
“Wh.. why are you laughing? This is serious, what if you become pregnant?”
Kala wiped a tear from her eye. “Harvey, you’re so sweet. Let me explain,”
He looked into her eyes with anticipation.
“I can understand why you would think that based on what I’m wearing,” She admired her outfit for a moment. “But, after I showered last night I found you sound asleep at the dining table,”
“I was already asleep?”
She nodded. “Yes, I decided that you should just sleep here. I hope you don’t mind,” She shrugged.
“So you’re saying that we didn’t have, er, sexual relations?” Such words shouldn’t be difficult for a doctor but even Harvey found himself blushing when confronted with the one he adores so deeply.
“Nope, I mean I guess we did sleep together. But in the most literal sense,” She smirked.
“Besides, you were the one who was unconscious. If anything had happened it would be me at fault,” Kala emphasised.
Harvey shifted nervously. “Er, yes, I suppose you’re right,”
Harvey sighed “I… I’m so relieved,”
Kala closed in to embrace her fiance. Her mouth melted into his. “I love you,” She whispered once her lips released his.
Harvey’s cheeks were burning as they parted. “Ah, well, what’s the time? We best get ready for work,”
“Oh yeah! Can’t have you being late, can we?” She smirked briefly such that Harvey couldn’t tell if his beloved was being serious or gently mocking him.
Kala looked over to the wall clock and Harvey followed her gaze. “6:20, huh?” She stated.
“What?!” He exclaimed. “I thought it must have been later than that!” he shifted his gaze then added, “...Considering it all...”
“Speak for yourself! I’m usually out on the farm by now!” She chuckled.
“I suppose, I shouldn’t keep you then…”
Kala smiled, “Weeeell,...” She crept her hands around his waist and drew herself in for another embrace while maintaining her gaze on him. “...the chickens can wait a bit longer just this once,” Her eyes sparkled as she smirked.
Harvey blushed. “o..ok,”
*** Harvey walked hurriedly through Pelican town, until he was almost jogging. Glancing at his watch every few seconds, he desperately wanted to make it back to the clinic before Maru arrived for her shift. The glass door was in sight. Harvey breathed a sigh of relief as Maru was nowhere to be seen. He slipped his hand into the pocket of his shorts and searched for the keys. Nothing. He checked the other pocket. Again, nothing. Beginning to panic a little, he removed his backpack and began rifling through it. After a minute or so of searching he had found them. The keys were, of course, secured in one of the side pockets for safe keeping. Focussed on the lock, he began to insert the key.
“Good morning, Harvey!” A cheerful voice startled him.
“Hah.. good morning, Maru,” He returned her smile.
As Maru approached she examined the situation. Harvey’s cheeks were flushed, his hair unkempt and a bead of sweat rolled down his neck.
“H.. how was your weekend?” He stuttered.
“Oh, you know, it was ok. How was yours?” The emphasis confirmed to Harvey that Maru knew something was up.
“G… good! It was really good, thank you,” He could feel his cheeks burning.
Maru smiled as Harvey opened the clinic’s door and let them both in.
As the door closed behind them Maru broke the silence, “Spent the night at Kala’s then?”
Harvey stopped in his tracks. He let out a quiet sigh “Haaa… I suppose it’s pretty obvious,” He forced a defeated smile.
Maru grinned, “Well it’s either that or you took up early morning running,”
“Did that possibility really seem so unlikely?” Harvey was a little offended but he laughed it off.
Maru chuckled. “It’s ok, I won’t tell,” She brought a finger to her lips playfully. Harvey knew well how gossip spreads in this small town.
“Actually, I have something to tell you,”
“Hm? What is it?” She replied instinctively.
Harvey took a deep breath, still unsure if he was dreaming “Kala and I are getting married,” His eyes glistened with love.
“Oh! Congratulations!” Maru bounced with excitement.
  “Ha ha, thank you,”
“You’ll have to tell me all about the pro-,” She was cut off as Evelyn opened the door for her wheelchair-bound husband.
Maru hurried over to them to hold the door open. “Good morning, Mrs Evelyn, Mr George. You’re a little early today,”
“Oh Dr Harvey doesn’t mind,” She hadn’t yet noticed him standing there in shorts and a t-shirt.
Maru smirked “Well, you may need to wait for a bit this morning. The Doctor isn’t quite ready yet,”
Evelyn looked over towards Harvey, “Oh dear, yes I see. That’s not a problem, you take your time Doctor,”
“Hmph, lazy kids these days,” George grumbled.
“Dr Harvey has just taken up running, and I think he’s not quite used to incorporating it into his morning routine yet,” Maru gave a subtle wink to the doctor.
Harvey broke his silence, “Hah yes, I’m very sorry about the delay this morning Mrs Evelyn, Mr George,”
“Not to worry dearie, we’re in no rush. Besides you have to take care of your own health too, doctor,”
George simply scowled.
“Thank you. Well, then if you’ll excuse me for a few minutes,” Harvey turned to the make his way upstairs.
As Maru floated over to the front desk she whispered to Harvey “You'll have to fill me in on the details later,”
He smiled and nodded towards Maru. Grasping the azure spiral shell from underneath his shirt. -End-

School, Sex and Subterfuge NC-17
ao3
This story is based in 2018/2019.
Mulder is a teacher, Scully is a student. This story is an NC-17 rating. There is no underage sex in my story I researched this before even writing it.
Mulder is known to give extra credit of a sexual kind to Someone special in his class does this person turn out to be Scully? I will let you read and find out.
*******************************************
Notes:
The first Chapter is kind of Scully Pov but most of the chapters thereafter will be both pov and or third person. Also, the characters I am portraying may seem out of charter well one of them at least but as the story goes on this will sort itself out it had to be done this way for the story to work.
*************************************************
First Day, First Meeting
Scully was now in her second year at Stanford University getting her bachelor's degree in Medicine.
She was a sophomore, thank God, because she had hated being a freshman. At least now she was kind of settled. She knew where she had to be on campus and knew the best places to get away from everyone, when she needed time alone. She has mostly the same classes that she had last year, just more advanced versions of those classes. She wasn't much for parties or social gatherings, as she preferred to study and get straight A’s instead of headaches and awkward conversation with strangers. Anything less would not please Ahab, especially with Missy roaming the world. She knew her roommate Serah and a couple of her close friends well and even knew most of the people in her classes. Serah was in most of the same subjects she was, bar a few, like art and music for example.
Scully woke up in her room, the sun was just starting to peek through the musty brown curtains. She groaned to herself and forced herself to roll over, looking over at her clock which sat on her bedside table, moaning again when she read the time - 5 am.
She hated when her body did this to her when it didn't want to sleep or she couldn't get to sleep. She swung her legs off the bed, it wasn't like she was going to go back to sleep anyway and put on some comfortable yoga pants, with a tank top and some bright red Nike Air running trainers. She could probably fit in an hour or two at the gym before the rest of the campus even wakes up. Plus the benefits of being at the gym this early is that no one would be there; meaning no guys wolf whistling or giving her dirty remarks under their breath while exercising.
She exited her room quietly shutting and locking the door behind her trying not to wake Serah, as she definitely was not a morning person. Scully made quick work of getting to the main entrance and across the quad to the west wing of the campus which held the gym and entered the building saying a quick "Hello" to Jim the security guard, before heading straight for the treadmill machine area. She placed her eco-friendly water bottle in the holder, and then put her wireless headphones on before scanning her iPhone and hitting play on Fleetwood Mac and stepped onto the treadmill starting at a light jog then a full sprint. She was so focused on running and what she was listening to that she didn't notice a man enter the room and start running, three treadmills down from her, himself.
An hour passed and Scully had run the sleep deprivation out of her system, and her legs were starting to burn so she slowed her pace and started her cool down. That's when she looked over to see a man in his late 20’s, maybe early 30’s, running hard with sweat dripping off of his face. Scully covertly checked him out - he was about 6ft 1 with chestnut brown hair and tanned skin.
She had never seen this man before but as she studied his physique, she could tell he was athletic, he had brilliant legs and calf muscles. She worked her way up staring at his butt which was nicely shaped and stood out in the very short black workout shorts that he was wearing, continuing up further to his arms she watched his toned biceps and triceps flex and tense as he was really giving this run his all.
The man suddenly turned towards her, looking directly at her and she realised she had clearly been caught checking him out. She started blushing and then he smiled at her and she wanted to look away but she couldn't help but stare back at the man looking appreciatively at her. His eyes are what drew her in, they weren't green but neither were they brown, in fact, they were a lovely shade of hazel; so bright and deep at the same time, they were mesmerizing. She watched sweat drip from his hairline and run down his cheekbones and nose which she did admit was too big for his face but it suited him all the same and didn't diminish how cute he was.
Scully worked her way down his face to look at his gorgeous pouty lips so pink and full - Wow! What she would give to have that bottom lip in-between her teeth sucking and nibbling it. Wow, where did that come from? She smiled back at him and he took off his drenched mesh and cotton tank top, her eyes drifted down of the own accord she could not help but notice the muscles of his chest and the very well defined six-pack on his stomach.
Looking at this beautiful man sent her into a full body flush - her heart racing, her breath was ragged and uneven, a pool of desire building in her stomach. Why was she thinking like this? She had to stop thinking like this immediately but damn she just wanted to shove him up against a wall and have him fuck her senseless!
She had to escape quickly, hopping off the treadmill she walked fast towards the ladies locker room but he was still staring at her as she opened the door and only then did he turn away. She could not help but glance at this man once more before heading for a very cold shower (which desperately needed now), trying not to think of the man she had just encountered and spent no actual time talking to.
After Scully had showered and changed into some light grey jeans and a flowy peach coloured tank top blouse with spaghetti straps, she grabbed herself a coffee and grabbed Serah one while she was at the on-campus coffee shop before walking back to her dorm room.
She arrived at her room and unlocked the door; Serah was already awake and dressed in black stretchy jeans, a black tank top and cropped burgundy hoodie, her long blonde hair was in a messy ponytail and away from her face, making her blue eyes stand out more than they already did.
"Hey Dana’ Serah said cheerfully.
"Wow, look who's up early!" Scully replied sarcastically, with a curiously raised eyebrow.
"Oh, shush you. Is that coffee for me?"
"Well, I don't see anyone else here to give it to, so you might as well have it," Scully said, handing Serah the coffee cup.
"Well, it looks like someone is in a sassy mood on the first day back. Anyone, I know?"
Scully was still surprised at how easily Serah could read her sometimes.
"No. Just some guy I saw at the gym this morning... I didn't even speak to him."
"You may not have spoken to him, Dana, but he has you all hot under the collar I can tell," Serah smirked, then took a sip of her coffee.
Scully could feel a slight redness in her cheeks and a small smile creep across her face.
"Maybe... but you know me and you know that I have no time for men."
"Well, my dear friend. All work and no play makes life very dull indeed. And sometimes you need to play hard and be free... and let go every now and then."
"Maybe I will, sometime"
"Yes but the sometime may never come, Dana"
"What classes do you have today anyway?"
"Mostly same as you Biology and Chemistry but when you have your free period I have Art class then lunch we can meet back up at say two for psychology?"
"Sure, that sounds about right."
"Oh, have you heard the rumours about our lecturer?"
"You know I don't listen to rumour and speculation."
"Well, I know THAT! But they are pretty good and sound rather juicy so do you want to know or not?" Scully nodded, and so without hesitation Serah carried on with her story "Well as I hear it our teacher Mr F. W. Mulder takes one girl under his wing a year and gives her ‘extra credit’" Serah raised her eyebrows as if willing Scully to get the hint but Scully just looked at her friend standing across from her and gave her a sceptical eyebrow. "Anyway, it so happens he purposely fails them so he can take them back to his office and have his way with them. And nobody minds because apparently from what I have heard from the older girls, he is very good looking and fantastic in bed"
"As I said I don't believe in rumour or speculation, and if what you say is true surely he would have been found out and got fired by now."
"You would think so, wouldn't you? But apparently he is from a wealthy family that donates a lot of money to the school... so they look the other way."
"Hmm… we really should get going or we’re going to miss out the first lecture."
"Changing the subject are we?"
"Why yes, I am." They both started laughing.
They casually wandered to their first class sipping their coffees on the way.
Several hours and a number of boring "Welcome back" lectures later. Scully was sitting in her favourite little, off-campus, cafe eating a small Caesar salad with a strawberry and banana smoothie just enjoying the scenery. The weather was warm for Autumn, a good 78 F but there was a light breeze flowing through the trees and flowers offsetting the unusual heat.
What Scully liked most about sitting here was being alone and the peace and serenity of it all - that was until the guy she saw earlier at the gym started walking in her direction. She watched him walk across the small cafe, his hair caught the sun coming through the large windows and his eyes glimmered in the sunlight, he was wearing dark blue jeans that rode low on his hips and a white shirt rolled up on his arms.
"Excuse me, is this seat taken?" He looked at her directly in the eyes now, and she could feel him burrowing his way into her soul, gesturing towards the empty seat next to her.
"No, it is not." Scully smiled sheepishly at him and watched him sit down across from her.
"It’s nice here. Very open... and yet rustic"
"Yes, it is" Scully felt herself going shy, and was unable to form long sentences.
"I'm sorry to be so forward. I'm not normally like this," he took a short pause before completing his train of thought "You just looked lonely. My name is William, by the way."
"Hello William, I'm Dana" she took his hand and shook it, she felt unable to breathe because of this man sitting in front of her.
"I was wondering if you attended the University?" Scully simply nodded, William took the chance to express what he really wanted to say "Look, I really came over to say that you are a very beautiful woman."
"Thank you," Scully was covered in crimson blush now and she didn't know what to say, she could feel her heart beating hard in her chest, could hear the blood pumping and thrumming in her ears.
"I really must be going, sorry to interrupt your day. It's been nice to meet you, Dana."
"It was nice meeting you, too," Scully answered managing to stumble out the words.
She watched him walk away (eyes distracted by his firm butt). No man had made her lost for words before, no man had really taken an interest in her or at least been so forward about it. She was shocked, to say the least, but very flattered by his attention.
She finished her salad (and smoothie) and made her way back to campus to meet Serah by the water fountain.
"Dana!"
"Hey Serah, are you ready to head to class?"
"Yeah"
Serah picked up her bag and bottled water, said bye to her group of friends and walked alongside Scully. It took about ten minutes to walk to the lecture hall, when they arrived it was already half full. Scully thought two things at that moment It is either a popular subject or he was a very popular man! Serah looked at her as if she knew what she was thinking and grinned.
"It could possibly be both, there a couple of seats over there"
They shuffled through the row of seats to find their spot.
"So, what did you get up to at lunch? You came back a bit flushed."
"I'm fine! Nothing happened." Scully stated, staring off into space and trying not to look at her friend.
"Yeah, right. I heard some more details that should interest you... details about what kind of women he picks for his little game"
"Is that so?"
"Apparently he goes for long haired brunettes and quite tall... or so I have heard."
"Oh, well thank you for the reassurance. Since I'm nothing like that he wouldn't even look at me twice." Scully mumbled while getting her notebook out of her bag.
"Anytime!"
Suddenly the whole lecture hall went quite as Professor F. W. Mulder himself stepped onto the stage at the front of the room. Scully looked up and recognized the man that was about to teach their class, it was William in his blue jeans and white shirt. Their eyes locked onto each other... Shit, she thought.
This was going to be one very long academic year.

Road to the Runway
Project Runway Season 16
Tumblr media
Last Thursday we got to meet the sixteen designers that will compete on the 16th season of Project Runway, which starts this week! In case you missed it, here’s a re-cap along with our first impressions of each designer. Plus, just for fun, we’re going to rate everyone to get a favorites ranking right out of the gate!
Batani Khalfani
Tumblr media
Age: 32, Home: Inglewood, California Tondy: This lady is not only beautiful, I love her African-inspired designs! The prints are gorgeous, and the styles are really interesting. I particularly loved what she had on, and the long dark-grey dress with the split in the front! Score: 4.0
Bolo: Batani had some really lovely looks, and it looks to me like she’s very talented with mixing colors, prints, textures, and various design elements to create unique but wearable designs. Can’t wait to see more! Score: 4.5
Amy Bond
Tumblr media
Age: 46, Home: Los Angeles, California
Tondy: I liked her designs a lot, but I wish they weren’t all the same dark grey and black! She seems to really excel in draping, but I do want to see more color. Score: 3.5
Bolo: Very clean, professional-but-fashionable looks with a masculine edge. Lots of dark fabrics, though, but draping skills are a nice bonus. Score: 3.5
Ayana Ife
Tumblr media
Age: 27, Home: Salt Lake City, Utah
Tondy: My favorite design was the long flowy pants with the spaghetti straps in the back.  I also liked the versatility of the boyfriend shirt. Score: 3.5
Bolo: Ayana had some really cute looks and I absolutely loved her color palette. I even love the colors she’s wearing in this picture, even if whichever one of the judges that was (Mondo?) didn’t like the color of her hijab. I love it! Score: 4.5
Margarita Alvarez
Tumblr media
Age: 30, Home: San Juan, Puerto Rico Tondy: I adored the purple and pink skirt that she showed first. I didn’t think that anything she showed was in the least matronly! (One of judges thought it might be) Score: 3.75
Bolo: Margarita had some gorgeous Dior-inspired looks, and I didn’t think they were matronly at all. At one point she was wearing this cute short-sleeved tunic dress with a plantain print, and it was adorable! Score: 4.25
Samantha Rei
Tumblr media
Age: 36, Home: Minneapolis, Minnesota Tondy: I like what she said about not having to apologize for the size you are! There was a black dress in one of her photos with a little black top hat that may be the cutest dress I have ever seen!  I also thought the purple print dress she was wearing was adorable!! I think she will do well. Score: 3.75
Bolo: Samantha’s looks are vibrant and fun, some looks on the lolita spectrum and others that had that had an anime quality to them. Some a bit costumey but still very lovely. Excited to see her challenge work. Score: 4.25
Deyonte Weather
Tumblr media
Age: 36, Home: Chicago, Illinois
Tondy: I loved the dress on the model and the first print dress was beautiful  I would buy whatever that was that he was pinning pleats on on the mannequin because it is going to turn out gorgeous! Score: 3.5
Bolo: I really liked the architectural quality to some of his looks. Since he’s a fan of architecture, it’ll be interesting to see how that influences his looks. The cityscape dress was nice and different from others I’ve seen. Score: 3.5
Kenya Freeman
Tumblr media
Age: 37, Home: Atlanta, Georgia
Tondy: She is too cute for words. I think she will keep things lively and fun on the show! I love peplums, and she had a pic of an adorable black dress that I think could be a best-seller! Score: 3.75
Bolo: I wish I could remember what she said, but it was something about designing for a working class girl or something along those lines. I liked that idea of cute, fashionable clothes for an everyday girl. Score: 4.0
Shawn Buitendorp
Tumblr media
Age: 27, Home: Grand Ledge, Michigan Tondy: Shawn makes amazing leather jackets. I can see rock stars wearing these. The lion one and the one that looked like mosaics were particularly awesome! Score: 3.5
Bolo: Shawn’s cobra mosaic jacket was unbelievable. I hope she’ll be able to show off more of that mosaic work and the jacket designing skills. Score: 3.75
Claire Buitendorp
Tumblr media
Age: 27, Home: Grand Ledge, Michigan
Tondy: Claire’s designs are not quite as edgy as Shawn’s. I like her first little black dress a lot, and I liked her aesthetic of making classic silhouettes embellished into a statement piece. Score: 3.5
Bolo: She had a black lolita dress that I thought was really nice, and she had some mosaic work and nice jackets as well. She also seems to like incorporating words into her looks, which I’m on the fence about. Score: 3.5
Aaron Myers
Tumblr media
Age 23. Home: Ridgewood, New York
Tondy: Hmm... I’m not sure how I feel about these clothes if they are for men. That said, I thought some of them were really cute and would look good on women too. I worry a little bit that he is trying too hard to be different! Score: 3.0
Bolo: This guy had some unique ideas. In my notes are the actual words “wank pocket” and “penis but not...” I think he said something about gender neutral, but I really got more of a “dresses for guys” vibe out of him. Could be very interesting or not so much. Score: 3.0
Brandon Kee
Tumblr media
Age: 24, Home: San Francisco, California
Tondy: I love his fabrics and that jacket with the laces was amazing! I’m with the judges as I want to see more of his designs as well. I hope we get to see him make the fabric! Score: 3.5
Bolo: Brandon’s looks were a lot of oversize/baggy menswear in neutral colors. Some of the textiles he showed looked nice. Score: 3.25
Michael Brambila
Tumblr media
Age: 25, Home: Oakland, California
Tondy: His clothes are different, but I liked the orange blouse. I would have liked to see more of the iridescent jacket that was hanging on the rack. It’s going to be exciting to see what he comes up with. Score: 3.25
Bolo: Michael was into what he called “fetish undertones,” which were things that tie up, rings, straps, etc. He likes to play with gender identity and looks with feminine undertones. Strikes me as more art than fashion. Score: 3.25
Sentell McDonald
Tumblr media
Age: 33, Home: New York, New York
Tondy: He had such a sad story. I hope he does well on the show. His clothes are quite different, but I sure could see a lot of them showing up on the Red Carpet at the Grammys! Score: 3.25
Bolo: LOVED this guy! I think he said something about “global warming inspired,” and I can totally see that. There’s a very futuristic quality to his work. Lots of straight lines, metallic and shiny fabrics, zippers, etc. Score: 4.75
Kentaro Kameyama
Tumblr media
Age: 38, Home: Lost Angeles, California Tondy: These designs were just gorgeous. The orange and black dress he had was amazing! I also loved the simplicity of the white dress with the black ribbons. Score: 3.75
Bolo: Kentaro is very inspired by music and likes to turn “sad things into beautiful things.” His angel dress, which was a tribute to a friend who passed away, was really lovely. I also loved that orange and black dress. Score: 4.0
Kudzanai Karidza
Tumblr media
Age: 32, Home: Atlanta, Georgia
Tondy: I liked him and I liked his dog, but sadly his designs did not impress me. I see where he is coming from, but I just didn’t get it. Score: 3.0
Bolo: Kudzanai uses a lot of color, texture, and African-inspired style. Some of his looks had a shabby chic/post-apocalyptic look to them, and others were more tribal avant-garde. Score: 3.75
Vincent “ChaCha” Yu
Tumblr media
Age: 24, Home: Taipei, Taiwan
Tondy: Well, these designs were just a little too childish or costumey for me, and I am surprised that he got through, honestly.  He is as cute as a button, but maybe he would be better off doing children’s wear? Score: 3.0
Bolo: TBH, I didn’t think this guy was for real, so I was shocked as hell that he’s an actual contestant. I am using not a drop of hyperbole when I say all of his designs looked like unconventional challenge looks. Unusual fabric choices; strange mixes of colors, textures, and prints; odd embellishments--I’ve never seen anything like it. That good be good or really really bad. Score: 3.25

Wearing Five Dollar Clothes From Wish For A Week
Wearing $5 Clothes From Wish For A Week
Tyler's making fun of my dress, but Tyler's been wearing the same shirt for three weeks. Hello friends and welcome to another video. This week, I'm going to be dressing in outfits completely from the website “Wish”. So, Wish is a website and app that I've often seen on my Facebook feed that features incredibly discounted items including a lot of clothing. Now, I personally have been a little bit hesitant to order clothes from this site just because it seems like it's a little too good to be true like the things I would get might not be what I saw in the pictures, but I got a lot of requests from you guys and I'm also incredibly curious myself so I decided to order an entire week's worth of outfits from Wish and see how they are.
Not necessarily shoes and accessories, but all the body clothing I want to see if I can find seven outfits, so let's do it. Okay, so I'm opening up the Wish site right now So right away, I'm seeing like a decent amount of clothes, shoes, a few fidget spinners. It looks like a glow-in-the-dark shower head. It seems to me like the clothes on Wish range from about one to ten dollars. I'm not going to limit myself to just like the five dollar stuff, but I have a feeling that most of these things are going to be around five dollars, so I'm sorry for the slight click you guys. Okay, I feel like I have to start somewhere. I like these pants. These are like jogger sweatpants with some rips in them. Something I do appreciate is that they have like ratings and reviews like right on the product. Some people are like one-star all the way, but a lot of other people are like four or five stars. Oh, here's a sizing chart. I'm going to get a large and I'm going to get them in black.
That's one pair of pants down, so I need a top. I do like this lace shirt. This is the “Zaful new women plus-size lace long-sleeve sexy see-through blouse tops”. People like this! Four stars And it has 4000 reviews. People say to order a size up, but generally people are into it. I'm going to go with the large. I don't have a big boobs anyway. I'm gonna go with the black. I promise not everything I buy will be black, but that top looks so cute black I had to.
All right so that's outfit one. This is interesting. This is a “Summer Autumn women casual long-sleeve chiffon dresses ladies Fashion V-Neck T-shirt loose short dress tops”. They're just trying to fit like every keyword in that title. This has a decent amount of reviews and it has three and a half stars. There's no sizing chart and not a lot about the sizes in the reviews, so I'm going to size up and get an 8 just because I would rather that it's bigger than smaller. How about the gray? That sounds exciting. All right. I'm going to add that to my order. Outfit two, check! This is interesting. Okay, this looks like a hoodie dress. I actually at one point in my life was searching for a hoodie dress, and I saw images of this thing on Amazon But I was too nervous to buy it.
I was nervous that it wouldn't look like the picture because it was so cheap. Let's take a look. She looks very hip and cool. Interesting! Okay, this also has three and a half stars and it has five thousand reviews. A lot of the people who are upset say it's too small, so I'm just going to just order up. I love this one. She just says “Wack!” It seems like all the other colors pretty much are sold out except for black, so I think that I might get to buy black. I see, I see. So that is three outfits down. All right. Let's take a look at this This is a “new summer women fashion solid off shoulder T-shirt casual short sleeves blouse loose tee Tops black white”. This is a two and a half star rating. “It looks nothing like the picture. It's just a white Hanes t-shirt”. “Nice shirt, but it isn't an off-the-shoulder sort, more with a plain t-shirt type shirt”. I think we have to see what this is. It seems like everyone's saying that if you want it to be off the shoulder you need it to be really big, so I'm going to get the extra large.
Like everyone was like “this is just a white t-shirt. Do not buy!” and I'm like “Yes, buy”. So, this is going to be off the shoulder. It would be cool to put something underneath. Oh! Yes, this is what I want. This is like one of those really cute like crop like bralette tops for one dollar! This has four stars with 3000 reviews and it's like just right like no one said that it was too small or too large.
Oh, it's one size, that's why. That makes sense. All right, let's add that in. So, we just need a bottom for this outfit. Ooh, let's get a pair of jeans. This should be interesting. This has also three-and-a-half stars with a thousand reviews. I'm going to go with large. The jeans are eleven dollars. So on the more expensive side of the things that we've got already. Oh, it's fourteen dollars, okay, never mind. They were eleven dollars to begin and now they're suddenly fourteen dollars, so I guess that's fine. Outfit four, a check! It is cool to see like who's buying what. I guess the strategy would probably to go for the things that more people bought. Ooh, look at this jumpsuit. I've seen one exactly like this at Urban Outfitters. I almost bought it I think like a year ago. I would buy this for six dollars, for sure. “Made out of balloon material”, “Material is like a swimsuit”. What on Earth is this thing? I'm gonna get a large and I'm going to get it in Army Green, how about? So, that is outfit five.
youtube
I could search something. I have just been scrolling Maybe we could try something like a skater skirt and see what happens. Ooh, yeah. Here we go. Ooh, look at this. It's one of those skater skirts that has like little suspenders. People like this. It's got four stars, but only 20 reviews. Not a lot of people are saying too small. A lot of people are saying too large. I'm going to buy a medium, but it is kind of the nerve wracking decision. I think that they had the right idea to just style it look like a white t-shirt. I love this, “I ordered a black extra-large, but I got a white medium tank top that has words on it”.
Someone says, “I got a 4x and it appears to be a toddler medium”, “If you aren't sure about what size you want, go one size up.” I feel like let's just go with that. So, I'm going to get a large in this. Okay, and that is outfit six. Oh, this top is really cute, and it's almost gone. I need it. It looks like a little cleavage top. I have none of that. It's called “Summer Fashion women casual sexy mesh V-neck blouse sleeveless tops t-shirt vest”. Meow! A lot of people think it fits just right. I'm just going to get a medium this time around and see what happens. What's the difference between black and cool black? Should I get a cool black just to see what that means? All right, so let's look for a bottom for this outfit. There is a tab that says bottoms. Ooh, those jeans are questionable. Here's something, so four stars, one written review. It's not a lot of information, so this is probably the riskiest purchase yet. I'm going to get it in A large and that rounds out the last outfit.
All right, I think that is seven outfits! A lot of the like estimated arrival times are like well over a month away. So, It's going to take me a while to get these things, but I'm Incredibly excited to see what they are. Some of their reviews were all over the place and it also seems like sometimes People don't get exactly the item they ordered.
Like not just it didn't look like a picture like this is a completely different item. So, we'll see, but if any of these things are good They were a great deal, so let's see what happens. That is a lot of Five-dollar clothing, so it's been about a month and a half and these things have been slowly trickling in, but I think I finally have everything. [This is a mess], so I took on the pile, hung everything up.
There were a couple of things I felt like I didn't recognize but we'll get To that when I, you know, like try to put them on. So, I started off with this green billowy jumpsuit thing. Okay, So here is the jumpsuit on. In the reviews people were kind of weirded out by this thing. They said it was giant and also maybe made out of balloon material, but when I got it it was pretty cute and soft out of the bag. I am Kind of loving this. I think that there's a couple of things that are a little odd.
I thought these were pockets at first, but they're just kind of like wings. Like there's some wings around the thighs like M.C. Hammer pants style and some strange ruching around the calves, but aside from that it fits pretty well. I put a belt on it just to add some shape to it and I also wore birkenstocks To match the kind of like “Earth Mama” vibes I was getting from it. I just look very comfortable, and I feel comfortable, but I also look comfortable. It was definitely hot outside, but the fabric was pretty thin and flowy. Got a lot of breeze waves for the air to travel through. The fabric did cling to my butt a little bit. A couple of crevices were spotted, But besides that I was pretty impressed by this. When you weigh the pros and cons like the price versus the “thigh fins” Eh, it evens out pretty much, I think.
So, outfit number two was this sweatshirt dress that I was super excited about. I thought that this dress looked like what was shown on the website, but it did fit a little awkwardly. There was some bulk like around the middle because of the pockets and it was a little bit shorter than I expected, especially in the thigh slit area. Okay, so we're at the mall right now. I think the style of the dress is fine.
I think like besides the pockets like it's a cute dress. It's just so warm. It's not terrycloth. It's like a ski fleece, So it could work really well like with tights and boots in a winter climate, but in July in California It's just, like even inside the mall, I'm feeling warm. It's confusing because like my legs aren't covered, but they're so warm. Overall I wouldn't say I got scammed with this dress.
Like I did get what I ordered, But I didn't like it as much as I hoped that I would. It just didn't fit me right. It was a little too hot and it's a bit of a tight hood So you got a little bit of the South Park effect. [Goofy Laugh] So outfit number three was my white, off-the-shoulder top, black bralette, and distressed jeans. Okay. So here is this outfit on my body. I like the straps on the top of the bralette and I actually can fit into these jeans. pretty effectively. The top was not just a “plain white Hanes t-shirt”, as the reviews had suggested, But it didn't show off as much of the bralette as I wanted it to. It was also a little bit bulkier than I expected. There were a few more folds and flops than I had hoped for. That said, it was all pretty comfortable to wear and I didn't really notice that I was wearing Wish clothing throughout the day.
I'm liking it so far; my only complaint is that these pants are riding down and I feel like if I tug on the belt loops, they're gonna just come off. I would maybe not wear all these things at the same time again. I feel like I looked a little bit like a mid 2000s, Jessica Simpson. TYLER: It also looks at your hosting T.R.L. It's the sleeves that bring out that like late 2000s vibe, but the individual items were pretty good. Day four Brought us face to face with the only item that I actually did not recognize when it arrived. So, I did not remember ordering a pair of black pants, but I did remember ordering some distressed sweatpants.
I think these are them. The way I identified that I hadn't actually received a completely wrong item was the rips in the pants, but this definitely isn't what I thought that I had ordered. They were supposed to be sweatpants, but they feel like almost like a swimsuit, a little bit. I was just so surprised by the material of them. These things are like crepes. Like an inedible very thin cloth pancake. They're neither sweatpants nor jeans nor pants nor leggings. TYLER: They're like fake clothing. SAF: Yeah, that's what it is. It's like It's like doll clothes. That said, the top was super cute and it looks a lot like the pictures. At first, I put it on backwards because there's no tag anywhere. Let me just humor myself. TYLER: You're turning it around again? SAF: Once I got it on right way, front ways, things started going well. Okay this feels better. So, while the pants were kind of a fail The top was one of my favorite things that I got. I feel like they scammed me with the pants and I scammed them for the top. So, outfit five was my little suspenders skater skirt and white crop top.
Okay so here is this outfit. This skater skirt was really a cute style, but I just didn't love the fabric. So, I had left the skater skirt hanging for a while because when it came out of the bag it was like super wrinkly, but the folds did not come out. So, we drove down to Disneyland. The car was not super kind to my skirt. TYLER: Why? SAF: It's a little more wrinkled than when you last saw me. Which was already a little wrinkled to begin with. I kind of wish it was more of like a jersey type fabric and this is more of just like a crinkly somethin'-somethin'. After walking around for a while, it's a little bit humid, I think my wrinkles are coming out. Maybe not entirely, but… Besides that I thought that the skirt and the top were pretty cute together And I would say that the crop top was a pretty solid buy.
I am glad that I listened to reviews and sized up though. A+ on the crop top. I feel like both items pretty much look like the photos and with Wish it can just be hard to tell what the fabric is going to be like before it gets to you. So, you kind of get what you get. Can you see my underwear? TYLER: No. SAF: Oh, no? Good. So outfit six was my mesh top and denim skirt. Now the skirt was definitely my riskiest buy because there was only one written out review. I would say that it fit like width wise, but it was a little bit Longitudinally challenged. Like my butt ends here I actually think from the front like it's not that short. It's just that the back gets shorter. The other thing is I feel like I'm kind of like walking with my thighs close together just to not move the skirt too much.
Though I think for something with no reviews I did get an actual skirt and not just like a puff of smoke and a stolen credit card. So the top I liked okay, it definitely does look like the photo. This is pretty close to what I expected. It's not a perfectly fitted shirt like there's some Emptiness right here. I thought that it fit pretty well, though it does feel like swimsuit material. It feels like with Wish like even if it looks like what I expected it to look like there's always just like Something that's a little bit off. I think most of my focus was on the length of the skirt, but besides that the outfit was pretty comfortable to wear around.
Now outfit seven was wrinkle-pocalypse I'm sure that if you steamed this it would be less wrinkly, but I can't find my steamer. But I did leave this hanging for a week and I also did the steamer shower trick and pretty much none of the wrinkles had come out by the time I put it on. I just look like I've been sleeping in this for a few days. Maybe should I put a belt on it, would that help? I really do like how it's longer in the back, but I don't love how it randomly cupped my booty. Like it's close to be kind of like a straight down sheath dress and there was a little like cupage. I will say that there's nothing wrong with the comfort of this dress. It feels just a little bit like I'm wearing a sheet It was, however, a pretty light and breezy dress for a hot summer's day.
It's easy and breezy up in my crotch-eezy. TYLER: Inappropriate. And maybe if you were living somewhere humid, the wrinkles would come out on their own. So, that was my Wish haul. It's definitely a crapshoot. And I don't know if I know how to navigate Wish any more now than I did before. I do think there's some stuff on Wish that is a very good deal. The reviews are almost always all over the place, so you kind of just have to go with your gut. And I'm actually really psyched about the stuff that I found that I like because it's kind of like finding the diamond in the rough. So my favorites were the green jumpsuit, the black sheer lacy shirt, the black bralette, and the white crop top, but if I had any advice for people shopping on Wish, tops are more of a sure bet, skirts and dresses were a little shorter than I expected, and I think that sizing up usually helps.
Also, if you see a pair of cool distressed sweatpants, Do not buy them. Thank you guys so much for watching. If you've bought anything from Wish before Let me know in the comments below.
