I just unfollowed like 300+ blogs (I've been around for 14 years, it was mostly a lot of blogs from...well, 14 years ago).

However, if you're coming here to see why I unfollowed you, it was probably a mistake and I was clicking too quickly. Message me and I will follow you back cause I guarantee it was a mistake. I tried to only unfollow blogs from 23423432 years ago, but I forget some sideblogs to main blogs I follow sometimes.

Good evening, lovely people on my dash. This is going to be a harder post to make and it has been on my mind for a long time to write it down, but I will be making changes to my blog in the upcoming days.

I have been in this fandom for a long time now and seen it go through many phases, but the current one is very hard to navigate. People have become insanely cliquey and even though I totally understand that you just click with some people and have fun interacting, the fandom no longer feels approachable and inclusive. As much as I know that prioritizing your mains and friends is natural and fully understand it, there is a difference between that and ONLY interacting with them and just downright ignoring everyone outside your inner circle. It is also really mean to use friendly and approachable roleplayers as stepping stones into the fandom and as soon as cooler people come around, you toss the people aside who welcomed you.

That being said, I don't mean anyone specifically, it's more an overall vibe I have noticed in the fandom lately. Nonetheless, the changes I will be making from here on out: if we are mutuals, but you ignore every effort I make to interact ( e.g. starter calls, memes, all threads are dropped ), I will consider that as disinterest in remaining mutuals and unfollow. I want to curate a dash consistent of people who want to write with me and no longer chase people who clearly only desire to write with their same three friends ( which is fine as well, you do you, but that is not my way of interacting. I don't follow people to collect them, but to interact ).

If you have noticed that our interactions have fizzled out lately, but you would LIKE to remain mutuals, feel free to reach out and we'll discuss this. Otherwise I will give it until tomorrow or Tuesday, before I start cleaning up a bit. If that is the end of our time together for some mutuals, I wish you well and have no hard feelings. ( hi!! ) if I could voice memo to all of you on the dash rn, you’d hear my squeals, that its something I want to update & back for realsies now haha ( but to pls not be too expectant as im still naturally slow ) sounds sad, but I already know ppl are gonna unfollow me after this post bc it’s yap but that’s okay, my focus is now fully on my writing and mutuals + mains. I’ve cut down and soft blocked so many people the past two days. and I spent the whole day, after coming from work today now that im on back, updating, and full sweep clean of ugly ooc posts on ALL of my blogs dating from from Dec 19. so you’ll notice a lot of deleted posts and my slow threads just bc that’s when i noticed i dropped and overwhelmingly yapped on the dash, but know my worth and time/deserve to be here too, and it was bc I really have no control of my own time, nevertheless we don’t apologise for that anymore because life is life. and so I’ve made some changes, mostly for myself, before I finally indulge myself into writing, these are just little tings I’ve updated that make my mind avoid weird and unnecessary “left out” feeling and able to enjoy my time here unapologetically and allowed to excite about my muses, because i see some new faces and would love to keep those who want to interact with me

I always wondered which blob was your main! Now that I've been in the Collective for several years, I think I have enough cred built up to remake my spreadsheet of blogs.*

Honestly? Meow would wake up and play with the strings for a bit. Then Meow might investigate, but would probably get distracted cleaning.

*Ever since I developed Hashimoto's thyroiditis (aka autoimmune hypothyroidism; 2013), I've had difficulty remembering names I have learned subsequent to developing the condition, even of people I see regularly and/or care about. (I remember names I learned prior to Hashimoto's just fine.) It takes a lot of practice for me to join name to face. (Faces, however, remain easy -- thankfully.) It's not that I can't, it's that it takes quite a bit of repetition for it to work -- and will fade more quickly if that repetition ceases. (This in itself has caused serious problems for me with other people.) It's easier on a website (where you constantly see names), but keeping track of who's who (when people have multiple blogs and screennames) isn't.

Back when the Collective was active on here (before I took up Sorcerer), I made a spreadsheet to help myself with it. I forget why I mentioned it publicly, but I did. At the time, I made it a point to follow every blog in the Collective except (IIRC) three: Cleric, Cowboy (no me gusta Westerns), and Luchador (no me gusta los luchadores). One of the people who ran Threadmage objected because it was creepy for some rando not in the Collective to be compiling such info (understandable), so I deleted it, even though it was entirely for personal use to aid in something others can do in their heads and I didn't share the information or document with anyone. (I did end up unfollowing Threadmage, but that was mostly due to volume of posts: I unfollow any blog I like that posts too much for my tastes/ability to make my way back to where I left off after a dash refresh. I can't say there wasn't resentment as well, but it was at least 70/30 volume of posts.)

Now, I have very little idea who's active, who isn't, how the Collective split (along which lines), and which main belongs to which member, let alone can remember such things after learning them. Like, I'm pretty sure @mortallyjollybear runs something, but haven't a clue what. The only mains I know are Knight's, Mage's (seemingly defunct along with Mage), Ninja's, and Pally's (due to frequent enough interaction) and the only sideblogs I know belong to anyone are Knight's (Aasimar [defunct] and Samurai). To be fair, there were a lot of active or semi-active blogs back then, which hasn't been the case since the Tumblpocalypse.

5. Headcanon based. Canon exists in this blog. But how I rp as Fizz is bit more headcanon based. He has his childish side showing up quite often, this is because he have been working ever since he was little kid. His parents are dead so he hasn’t been able to be like a ‘normal child’ so now it’s showing up.

6. Duplicate Muses. Are ok only if they are part of multimuse blog. I get very anxious when I see a duplicate muse on my dash, minus a few of my friends who I share Fizz and Mammon with. 

7. NSFW. Horny demons, what can I say. Fizz has his moments. All the NSFW themes will be tagged as such.

8. Triggering themes. Such violent and more dark themed rp’s will be tagged as “tw; blood” or “tw; injury”. If I ever miss a trigger warning, please message me. I don’t want to make anyone feel uncomfortable.

9. Shipping. Yes! This blog is multiship! But I only ship with chemistry and would like to know the other mun before anything happens between our boys. Yes, boys. Fizz is not straight. Never feel pressured to ship with me. I’m fine for example Fizz and Ozzie only being business partners. Also not all the ships need to be healthy or actual romantic ships. 10. Safe Zone. This blog is as Drama Free as possible! I have zero tolerance of drama, not gonna spread it. Anons will be blocked and blogs will be blocked forever. 

11. Replies. My replies vary from a few lines to several paragraphs depending how my muse works for me at the time. I always try to end my reply so my partners have something to work with. Icons will be used unless stated otherwise in tags. Icons used in replies are from the show that rightfully belongs to Vivziepop.

12. Never rush. I happen to have a life…. ‘life’ away from the computer. Have a full time job so it’s impossible for me to be around on a daily basis. At times work takes a lot from my energy. I reply on things I have muse for. Roleplay partners who I talk to behind the scenes go most likely first. Timezone is not on my side so the dash is usually most active at 1 am to 7 am my time. Some of the fandoms I write in are notorious for having… contentious views over specific characters, and I do not wish to partake in this. Regardless, I feel a cleaning of my mutuals is long overdue. A lot of them have gone MIA or have never interacted after following (Rule n.4 always applies, and although I never set a time limit for it, I believe months with no attempted interactions is a reasonable time window to determine a blog's interest), and maybe with a less cluttered dash I will be able to make new friends as well.

Obviously, those who have been writing with me for a long time but have gone on a semi-hiatus for any reason do not have to worry about anything. So long as we keep tabs and I know what's up, I have no reason to unfollow your blog.

Bi-annual Interest Check!

As I hinted earlier this week, it is time for this blog's bi-annual interest check. I strive to keep a lean dash on this blog and stay mutuals only with those who want to write IC with me. With that being said, I plan to clean up my mutuals list next weekend and remove blogs that are either abandoned without a hiatus notice or that I'm not interacting with and they have not responded to this interest check.

Follower Clean Up Notice

I hardly ever do this sort of thing But I feel like I need to do a bit of a clear out I follow a lot of people, and there are quite a few that haven't really interacted with me at all in any type of way, as well as some people who haven't replied to my starters or replies in a very long time And I want to keep people on my blog who genuinely want to interact with my Vergil. meechi. good afternoon, everyone! i'm not feeling up to much writing for Luck, unfortunately, but I have thought about what might help with my feelings regarding this blog : I'm going to do some spring cleaning / pruning on my dash! I'm going to also go through my drafts and drop any threads I haven't replied to in the last 3 months. I have a bad habit of hoarding and it sometimes causes me unintentional stress. as for my dash cleaning, i'm going to unfollowing/softblocking any archived/deactivated blogs, blogs that haven't posted for more than 3 months, and any blogs that haven't made any attempt to interact with my posts or me ever since following ( any new followers within the past month are exempt from this ).
